Azzy's New Jewelry
#1 of Macro/Micro
Azzy gets treated poorly by a jerk of a stranger. So she uses her powers to get a little revenge and gains a new bauble for her ankle bracelet in the process!
Note, while some characters are high school age, they are seniors and of age. There is no sexual content. There is a crush scene, but it is not graphic or gory, still be advised!
Azrael stomped on the accelerator as the light changed. She was in a rush. She had an appointment to get her claws trimmed and polished and her fur trimmed and preened at the local strip mall beauty parlor. If she was too late, not only was she going to be charged a no-show fee, but she would have to wait another week to get rescheduled. Azzy followed another car through the next light as it was at the end of its yellow cycle and aimed for the mall. Her black fur and orange shoulder-puffs blew in the wind as it cut through her open windows. Azzy was a Kitraxian, but most people thought of her species as "batgryphs". She gripped the wheel with her avian claw like ands and turned into the strip mall lot. It was the busiest time of the day here and there were only two parking spots left. She breathed a sigh of relief. The nearest other parking spaces were a block away. As she headed for the spot, she heard the squeak of tires and the revving sound of a sports car engine. A Chevy Camaro, dark blue with white racing stripes shot around her and angled right in front, its horn blaring, the drivers middle finger clearly visible. Azzy stamped the brakes with her padded paw as the vehicle veered right in front of her, shouting out a curse in her native language. The blue car slid neatly atop the white line dividing the two parking spaces and stopped. Azzy glared at the car which had nearly caused an accident and was now taking up BOTH of the remaining parking spots.
She pulled up and called out, "Hey! I really need to park, can you back up and free up a spot?" The owner of the car, a gray canine who had just gotten out, turned and smirked at her from behind a pair of expensive sunglasses.
"Too bad toots. You were too slow. Now why don't you go find a street corner to hang out on? I'm too busy for you now. Long day ahead, I'll be working late, but maybe later I'll stop by your corner after hours for some R&R huh?". He laughed and then turned and headed into the realty office next to the salon.
Azzy fought back the urge to get out and rake his car with her nails. She didn't have time for revenge. She got her car turned around and back onto the road, heading down for where she could find a street meter to park at. She managed to find one a bit farther than she had hoped for and quickly filled it with what he hoped were enough quarters. She then headed for the Salon in a run.
Azzy arrived at the salon just in time to see someone else taking what would have been her seat. She wilted her ears to either side and the mistress of the parlor just sighed, "You're just a little too late Azzy. I'm sorry. Look, I might have a cancellation here in an hour and a half. Can you wait around? We might be able to get you in."
Azzy nodded, "Yeah sure, thanks Gladys!" and sat down, pulling out her phone to pass the time. She chatted with a few friends and then played some Angry Birds, trying to three star some of the levels she had already beaten. As the time passed her phone grew hot and its battery low. She was losing patience with this one level that just seemed impossible to get the best score on when the door opened. Azzy looked up and ear-wilted again. The person who was going to possibly cancel had made it after all.
Gladys shook her head and Azzy sighed, "So much for that."
"Hey look, I know you really wanted to look special for the prom, and I saw that mean bastard take your parking spot, but you were already late then and I had already promised this other young lady your spot. I'll waive the fee, but I really can't get you in until next Sunday at the earliest. I'm sorry dear!"
Azzy let out a breath and sighed, "Well I'll do what I can myself then. I'm sorry I was late, thanks for not charging me the fee." She then walked out the door only to get hit with a cloud of smoke.
"Bleh!" she coughed, and looked over, the canine from earlier leering at her.
"Guess they couldn't help you out. You look uglier than you did when you went in. Still, maybe five dollars for a fuck later on huh?"
"You pig!" Azzy snarled, "You're lucky I don't complain and have this piece of shit towed."
The canine smiled, showing his teeth, "Good luck with that. The realtor I work for happens to own this strip mall too. Ta-ta for now. Bitch." He flicked his cigarette at her and went back inside.
Azzy swatted at the cigarette and knocked it down. She curled her claws and thought about clawing the car again. But no... it wasn't worth creating a scene. Not yet. She glared at the realtors office and then stalked in the direction of her car. She was halfway to it when she noticed something wasn't right... the passenger door was ajar. She broke into a run.
"Damnit!" she cried. She already knew she had forgotten to lock the doors in her haste to get to her appointment. She skidded to a halt on the sidewalk and pulled the door open. Her car stereo was gone, wires hanging from where it was cut out. She slammed the door and nearly sobbed. She looked at the meter. It glared back with a red "Expired". She groaned again and looked to the windshield. Sure enough a ticket awaited her.
In her head, she heard the wolfs voice again, mocking her, "Aww, isn't that just too bad. Pity you don't have a cush job like mine, you could afford a new stereo, and something better than that too-slow rattletrap you drive too. Here... let me put my hands somewhere that will make you feel better!" It would be just the kind of thing he would say if he was here right now to see this.
The fur on her head and back raised a bit and her tail bushed out as she felt a rage filling her. Sure, it was her fault she was late. Even if he hadn't taken her spot she would have missed her appointment. But the way he had talked to her alongside everything else that had gone wrong had lit a deep burning hatred in her for the man. He had thrown a cigarette on her. And she hated cigarettes. She heard his voice again in her head, repeating actual words he head said earlier this time, "I'll be working late."
"Hmm" Azzy thought to herself after the memory had abruptly surfaced. Late. When it will be dark. She now knew what she wanted to do, and to hell with the risks.
Brian was finishing up the last promotional paperwork for the last house he was assigned to put on the market. Another foreclosure home up for sale. He smiled at the thought of some poor slobs standing forlornly outside by their pile of belongings. Soon the "vultures" would come by and start picking at it. Carrying away what was left of their lives. They couldn't guard it forever. That had probably been a week or two ago, little left but the scraps no one wanted and some muddy marks in the yard. Soon his sign would be in the yard and the house would be sold to someone who could better afford it. The bank would recover some of their money, minus his commission of course. Someone else's loss, his gain. He liked that more than someone really should. Something about the misery of others made him turn up a smile inside and out. Like that piece of fuzz he had blown off earlier. Too bad it wasn't her old place, that would have completed his day. He finished the last of the paperwork and put it in the completed tray. A long day, and working for someone else, but not for too much longer. A bit more experience and he would be able to go out and start his own business. He would specialize in foreclosures. And maybe even snatch up the contract for this strip mall lot if he could run his old boss out of business. He would get rid of that tacky salon next door and put in a strip club. Imagine that bat girls face when she saw that. Shit the dumb broad would probably have to take work there someday. He smiled and left the office, locking the door and heading for his pride and joy, still parked over two spots so no one could get their car doors near it.
Brian lit a cigarette and smoked it outside the car. He never smoked inside it. It would lower the value. By the time he was ready for a new car, he might go for something even flashier. A Porsche or a Maserati maybe. He dreamed his greedy dreams as he slowly worked the cigarette down to the filter. He flicked it at the door of the salon and blew out the last bit of smoke and opened the door to his car. Had he looked up, he would have seen the incredible sight of a pair of bat ears rising up from behind the strip mall, moving upwards and growing larger. He started the engine and roared the it several times. His high beam indicator glowed blue on the dashboard. He always drove with them on. It gave people incentive to not be in front of him.
"Thats right assholes" he chortled in the merry light of his dashboard, "Just stay out of my way and we'll get along perfectly". With the glare of the lights bouncing from the windows of the shops, he didn't see Azzy's huge face leering down at him from where she leaned over the strip mall, her muzzle opening to let her tongue peek out in the way her kind smiled. With a laugh he put the car into gear and started backing up when he struck something, causing the car to lurch.
"Da fuck!" he shouted. If that bitch from before had put something behind his new tires he would have a sleeping bag made out of her hide! He put it in park and pushed the door open. Something large and somewhat ridged came out of the night and struck the door and slammed it against his side, knocking him back into the car. The window shattered and coated him with tumbling bits of safety glass.
"Son of a bitch! You're dead!" he roared. He had no idea who was attacking him, but he wasn't going to play nice with them. He threw the vehicle back into reverse and floored it. The car moved, but instead of backwards, it went up. His stomach lurched with the sudden upward motion, the car's engine roaring impotently as the rear wheels spun uselessly in the air. He let up on the gas and looked out the window and down. The ground was receding away.
"This some kind of alien abduction?" he sputtered incredulously, his heart racing. This was a dream, a nightmare. He was asleep in the office, passed out from working too late. He must have just closed his eyes a second. He looked up and gasped as he saw a pair of large breasts looming as his car zoomed past them. Then a face leaned in. He realized that his car was held by a pair of dark clawed fingers, pinching against the sides to pick it up like a hot wheel toy. He recognized the face. The bat girl from earlier. She smiled again, her muzzle opening a little as she did, her hot breath rolling over him, blowing his fur and clouding the windshield with condensation as she spoke in a rumble.
"You could call it that." she said. It took him a moment to connect her statement with his earlier one about alien abductions. "Thanks to you, my boyfriend is going to have to worry about my claws poking holes in his tux when we dance tomorrow night."
Brian gawked and shook his head and then looked again. "But... this is impossible. It's a dream!"
Azzy smiled and licked her lips, a small gesture that was utterly frightening this close to her face. "Oh you'll wish it was, but I'm all too real. But this is just going to be our little secret. You wanted a night out with me earlier, now you'll get it."
Brian spluttered again and then dug his claws into his own arm, "Wake up you fuck!" he shouted. He hurt. He even bled a little. But he didn't wake up. Azzy just smiled as she watched and then said, "But I really need to hurry this up before someone else sees me." She planted the car into her palm and her claws closed around it. Brian wasn't sure which was the louder scream... that of bending metal, or his own. In the light of the dashboard he watched as the car started to cave in on him. The windows all popped and then the A pillar collapsed in front and the engine let out a thump as it suddenly seized up as it was bent out of shape. Brian threw himself prone across the front two seats, screaming and sobbing as Azzy slowly crushed his car around him. The lights in the dash went out and he was in darkness, waiting for the end.
The metal screeching stopped and then a new sensation came over him... it was odd, a tingly, he felt he couldn't get enough breath. Was she crushing his chest? He flailed his arms in panic. No... there was room in here, just enough room to move around. What was happening?
Azzy slowly crushed the camero in her paw. She went slowly, taking her time. She wanted this to go perfectly. No explosions, no fire. She let out a little hiss of pain as the engine cracked and hot oil spilled onto her fingers. Thankfully the car had not been running too long or it would have burned her sensitive fingers. But it still hurt enough she almost let go of the vehicle. But she wanted something more than the relief of pain right now. She wanted Bran... or was it Brian? She only could guess from his "BRN RLZ" license plate. He had joked about using her like a possession earlier, and now he was hers. And she wasn't about to let him go to waste. She stopped applying pressure once the engine was stopped and the car was mauled enough that Brian could not escape. She paused for a moment and looked around. Few cars were about this late and she was standing back behind the strip mall away from the lights which pointed towards the parking lot. Behind her was a large storage unit business, closed for the night. Only a few cars went by. With her crouched down, she might look more like some inflated attention getter than a real giant. People might stare for a second as they went by on the road, but they would write her off as some crazy advertising stunt in the poor lighting. She heard a metallic sound below. She looked down to see a homeless coyote stumbling over his fallen trash collecting cart. He was probably looking for scrap metal in the area dumpsters. He looked up at her fearfully and with a "Yip!" he took off running, leaving his "borrowed" shopping cart behind. She didn't bother to pursue him. It would raise the risk of being noticed as real and no one would believe the poor guy. If he went to the cops with the story of a giant girl behind the salon and they would laugh and throw him in the drunk tank.
Azzy sighed... she liked being this big, looming over all. But she had to get back to normal size before anyone else saw her and recognized her as something more than just a prop of some kind. She closed her eyes and started shrinking down... her clothing and jewelry and the car in her hand all caught up in her power, becoming smaller. She felt the car shift a bit as her captive flailed inside. He must feel her power now, coursing through him, making him smaller and smaller along with his prized sports car. He wouldn't know what was happening though, not until she opened her hand. She smiled at that. The hunter was now the prey. And trapped. And hers.
Brian felt a swaying motion after a few moments. It was dizzying, as if the car were being shaken back and forth. He felt seasick from the motion, was having to put his hand against what was left of the dash to hold himself steady. He pushed up against one of the airbags, now deflated. It must have gone off earlier after he had dove for cover. He simply hadn't noticed since he had been screaming for his life at the time. But it seems she had spared him, or maybe she hadn't crushed him and didn't notice. His head spun. This was crazy. Was he crazy? Had he lost his mind in an afternoon? There was no way someone could be so big. Where was he? Light suddenly flooded in. He heard the "bong" of a car that had just had its keys put in. He looked out through the slit that was all that was left of his windows. He gasped as he saw the interior of a car outside. He was in someones car... inside his own car? He must have gone mad!
"Still alive in there?" Azzy's voice boomed from above. She lowered her nose and sniffed at the tiny car in her hand, "I don't smell any blood."
Brian shuddered and he shouted back hoarsely, "Go away! Just... stop!" He grabbed his head and closed his eyes. This was a nightmare!
Azzy smiled, "Alive but maybe a little confused? I understand. You don't seem the type who would believe in the supernatural. In someone like me who can... do things you normally only see in a comic book or a movie. I made myself big, and I collected you and your toy car. But now I'm back to normal. But you were in my hand and now you're just a toy man in a toy car. My toy. For as long as I decide to keep you."
Brian pushed a little at the roof. It was pinched down. He had to get out of here! He grabbed at the door handle and pulled. No good. The door was crushed and wedged. He tried the others. He heard the chortle of amusement from the girl as she watched the tiny ant-like man scramble around in his ruined matchbox of a car.
Azzy chittered happily and said, "Oh by the way, now that we've been properly introduced, I should tell you my name. I'm Azrael! It's nice to meet you properly. I think our earlier introduction could have gone a little more nicely don't you think? So now... whats your name little guy?"
Brian goggled out at her as he watched her speak. Her muzzle was so big. She held him in her hand... in her hand! Like he was a bug! His throat worked but he couldn't speak at first. Finally he said, "Brian! My name's Brian! Let me out of here!"
Azzy barked out a hyena like laugh, "Oh but you wouldn't last an hour out of your cage little man! I mean look at you. If I let you go now, you would be lucky to reach that street corner you mentioned by morning. If someone didn't ride or jog over you first! Oh no, we can't have that. No, you..." she reached out a claw and gently caressed it atop the smashed car roof, making a terrible grating sound, "..are mine now."
Brian started rattling the doors again. Azzy watched for a bit as her captive rattled his cage. Satisfied she had left him no way out, she moved her paw to her pocket and slipped the car and man inside, then pulled on her seat belt and turned off the dome light. She started the car and drove home, no longer perturbed by the lack of a radio. She had something now that would more than cover the loss of that. When she arrived home she parked, left the car, locking it properly this time, and then went into her house. Her people were not from this world, she was here on a student exchange program to spend her last two high school years on Earth. Her guest family was already asleep as it was late and she moved upstairs to her room as quietly as she could. They had refurbished the attic into a very nice private quarters for her. It was as long as the house and though the ceiling was slanted and low in places, it was very roomy and she had made it a nice home away from home.
Azzy stopped by her dresser and looked into the mirror, fixing her hair and shoulder-puffs. She looked a little forlornly at her overly sharp and un-manicured claws, but it wasn't the end of the world. She would make up for the lack of that tomorrow with a new piece of jewelry she had acquired instead. And all it had cost was a little risk that her power might be discovered. She reached into her pocket and took out the car. She smiled and said, "Hello again, welcome to my bedroom. Bet you didn't seriously think you would be joining me here tonight. But we'll be spending a LOT of time together now. In fact, I think I'll wear you every day."
Brian cursed and shouted up at her. She giggled and ignored it, busying herself in a drawer to get out some pliers and wire. She looped some in carefully through the back window, Brian yelping and cowering as the sharp end came through. She slid it out the passenger window and formed a loop and twisted it off. She then pulled out an ankle bracelet and held it up. It had several colored baubles hanging from it but one was missing.
Azzy looked down at the car and said, "Hmm... a little big still. I'll fix that!" She stood up and started growing again, soon she was bending down to keep from putting her head through the ceiling. She added a bit more, moving to her hands and knees. Her head, close to him grew larger again. She smiled and let out her hot breath across his vehicle. Brian shuddered and instinctively shuffled back as much as he could in the cramped confines of his ruined car. She could easily swallow him alive with that muzzle! Azzy reached out with huge fingers and grasped the car gingerly and palmed it again, Brian tumbling around as she handled it like a toy. Her paw closed around and darkness took over along with the crushing feeling again. After a moment Azzy opened her hand back up and panted as if she had felt the same squeezing press on all sides. She was back to normal size, but his car was now the size of her smallest nail on her hand. She wired the car up to the spot where the missing bauble had once hung and smiled as she held the anklet aloft to admire her repair work on it.
"Lucky. I think the missing bauble was blue too. The white stripe is a little off, but I'll just have to make do with you won't I?" she said to Brian as he floundered in the front seat as the car dangled front end downwards. She turned the anklet over in her hands slowly, "Yes, you make a nice bauble. I can't wait to try you on tomorrow when I dress for prom. But now it is late, and I should get to sleep." Brian shouted in a hoarse voice to her. but she wasn't paying attention. She was fishing back in the drawer. He could see one of her breasts perilously close to the tabletop she had lain him on. He could see the nipple peak clearly through her dress and it made something in him stir. He shivered a bit thinking about what it would be like to fall down in between those mounds and vanish forever. It was a real possibility now. All she had to do was lean over more and she could smash him under it. That made him shiver again. He had this horrible feeling of both stirring libido as her scent came down overpoweringly and a sick feeling that he was looking at his eventual doom. Azzy finally straightened back up and said, "Ahh here we go." She pulled out one of those suede covered jewelry snap cases and pried its clamshell form open. She lifted up the anklet and said with a bit of singsong in her voice, "Can't have you slipping away too soon on our first date now can we? Sleep tight in there!" She lowered the anklet into the box and started to lower the lid. Brian scrambled between the front seats into the cramped back, his arm pressing out of the slit that remained of the back window in an imploring motion.
"No! Please! Please!" he cried. He actually wept as he opened his muzzle to apologize for earlier when she snapped the case closed. His screams in the darkness were unheard by her sensitive ears as she placed the case in the top drawer and slid it closed for the night.
Brian wept in the darkness for some time. It was pitch black inside. He simply lay lay curled up in the car, wondering if this nightmare would ever end or if it even was a nightmare. After what was perhaps an hour, he started to pull himself back together. Whatever was happening, it was real enough he needed to keep his head about him. He fumbled in the darkness of the car and found the headlight switch. He tried it and nothing. He tried turning the keys, still in the ignition on and off. Nothing. She must have smashed up the battery. He fumbled in his pocket and pulled out his phone. It lit up. He shined it around the car using the screen for light. Then he looked back at it. Of course! His phone! He smirked as he unlocked it and dialed 911. He would call for help, claim kidnapping. He didn't have her address but people at the salon knew her and would be able to track back to her. They would make her return him to normal and he would then begin to make her pay. His head whirled with the thoughts of lawsuits and watching her go to prison. He hoped it was one of those privately run prisons. If so he would find out which company ran it so he could invest in it and own a piece of her fuzzy ass. And when she got out... if she got out... He was so wrapped up in gleeful thoughts of rescue and revenge that he didn't notice his call had failed to go through for a moment. He looked at the phone, frowned and dialed again. Nothing. No service. He looked at the signal indicator. No bars. He started climbing around in the small space of the car, looking for a spot where he could get a signal. He had a now sinking feeling that being this small meant his phone was no longer capable of sending out a signal that could reach any nearby towers. He tried every inch of the car and even holding it outside of the slit left by the crushed roof. No luck. Rage filled him again.
"You cunt!" he screamed and threw the phone at one of the slits. It shot through and landed with a quiet thump inside the case. He immediately regretted his move as it tumbled to land on its screen, blotting out the light. Part of his mind wanted to let sanity fade out with the light. But he held on. He wasn't done yet. He gathered his strength and pushed on the roof of the car. He shoved and pushed with all his might, grunting and then finally letting out a howl as he gave it his all. Panting he let up. With no way to tell if he had done any good in the darkness, he was forced to feel around the slits. They didn't seem any bigger. He tried to push through each one, but his head wouldn't fit. She had done a very good job of sealing him in. He went to the doors and pushed and cursed and kicked at them. They wouldn't budge. She had distorted them so badly there was no escape. He tried the back seat and after some fumbling he got it down. He reached into the trunk and found a mass of crushed metal. She had pressed her thumb into it, cutting off that avenue of escape as well. He swore and raged for a few minutes and then climbed back up front and then pushed the seat back up.
"Okay... Okay Brian" he said to himself, "Keep your head. You can't use brawn to get out. So use your charm." He may have been rude to her before but he thought maybe he could undo that now. She had shrunk him down, trashed his car and trapped him in a humiliating place for the night. Certainly that was enough! He would apologize, much as it made him want to puke to do it, and then turn on his best sales charm. He would convince her to let him go. It was that simple. She knew nothing about him. He would put on sob story about a wife and kids and beg for his life like he meant it. And he did. The rest was a lie, but that was the truth. She would take pity and let him go. All he had to do was wait until morning... whenever that was. He had noted the time of 11:25 when he had picked up the phone, but now without it he had no timepiece. But clock watching would get him nowhere. She would probably take him out first thing in the morning to gloat some more.
As he tried to pass the time, Brian thought over his situation. He was still badly shaken by all this, but he had a better handle on himself now. He had a plan of action, and something to sell. For now, he would take a little stock. He checked his pants first of all. Had he peed himself? He damn near had felt like it when the car first lifted off the ground. He was dry. That was good. He had some respect left. What about food or water. He wasn't hungry or thirsty. But maybe that made sense given the shock. He hadn't had dinner but it was late, he had taken a scare and it must have killed his appetite. But he would need food and most of all water eventually. He opened the glove compartment and rooted around, and checked under the seats, looking for a bottle of water. Nothing. He hadn't expected to find anything but he had nothing but time on his hands to waste right now. He thought back to the worry he had wet himself and frowned. He didn't feel any need to go to the bathroom right now. Maybe that was part of the shock too. That was certainly for the best given his current state of captivity, but deep inside he felt the worm of worry stir anyway. He tried to ignore it and took off his suit jacket and made a makeshift pillow with it. He crawled into the back and after what felt like ages managed to fall asleep.
Hours later he awoke with a start. He wasn't sure where he was at first and he reached up and his hands hit the fabric roof of his car, far too low down towards the back seat. Memory flooded back and his heart did a backflip. It was real! He shuddered and rubbed his head. It hurt. He was in his car, it was smashed up. But no way some girl did this. His mind quickly came up with the explanation. He had gone to the bar after work and driven home after too much to drink. He didn't remember the bar. That wasn't unusual. He had not remembered even going to one after his last DUI. If he drank enough, he would lose memory of parts of the night before. It was just one of those things. He felt around and found bits of glass on the floor and that the car was badly mangled. He crawled into the front and thought, "Man I really wrecked this bad. I must have flipped it." He thought back to the horrid dream he had. Alcohol could do some damn strange things sometimes. He must have crashed and blacked out and had this horrible nightmare about that stupid girl from before. He felt around in his pockets. No phone. He found a lighter in his sports coat and a cigarette and he lit it and then used the lighter to look around. The car had obviously rolled. Probably down an embankment. No wonder no one had found him yet. He was probably hidden at the bottom of some ravine. He would get out and get some help. Maybe get a friend of his to haul this wreck off quietly so no one knew he had been drinking and driving again.
Azzy awoke on her own, without the need for an alarm clock. She hadn't bothered to set it. Normally Monday would mean school, but it was prom night tonight. The school knew kids wouldn't concentrate well with this looming and gave them they day off so they could run parent-teacher conferences. Therefore, she had today mostly to herself. Her hosts, as she thought of them since they were not really her parents, both worked and one of them would attend the conference. She rolled out of bed and looked in the mirror, pawing at her hair. She then slowly slid the drawer with the box containing her anklet in it open. Her smile grew as she laid her paw on it and picked it up. The sick little man who had tormented and picked on her yesterday. The issue at the salon wasn't entirely his fault, but the radio and ticket, she was putting most of that on him. But more than that, was the way he had spoken to her. And he had thrown a nasty cigarette on her. She would be lying though it she didn't to some degree relish what she had done too. She had turned this guy and his most prized possession into a piece of simple jewelry. Just a bauble among others on something she would wear around her ankle. This was a sense of power that was very new to her and she found she liked it. She hoisted the box up and then pried it carefully open and looked inside. She hoped he hadn't suffocated in there.
Brian had spent the last hour trying to open a door. Wrenching it back and forth was fruitless. It wouldn't even budge. He was worried now. His phone was gone, probably out the window when he rolled the car. He was amazed to only have a slight headache. He could only guess that it was drunken luck. He had read that drunks in crashes often miraculously walked away unhurt. Bracing for impact could stiffen you and make you more likely to get hurt. Part of him was glad of that one law abiding part of him always put on the seat belt. Only reason he was still alive. He had just got back to work on the door when the car started to slide. Oh great! He wasn't all the way down the embankment! He held onto to the wheel to steady himself, bent low in the smashed up car. He frowned... that didn't sound like a car sliding, it sounded like a drawer. He blinked. As he looked around with the lighter again. No... no way. He began to suspect someone had put more than alcohol in his glass now. Maybe he had been drugged. Light flooded the car suddenly. Even through the slits it looked blinding. He heard birds. Where had the birds and bugs been before? He realized now how dark and silent it had been. How black outside. He had figured it was night time but now he saw sun. Azzy's voice boomed down and crushed his desperate hope that this was just a drunken or drugged accident.
"Hey there big guy!" she giggled. "Oh wait!". She laughed again. "Hope you survived the night at Hotel Azzy!" She prodded at the car, rocking it. Brian screamed out in horror.
"Oh yeah, you're still a live one! Good! How you feeling? Hungry or thirsty maybe?"
Brian looked out the slit as his eyes adjusted. Azzy's face loomed in close, her fangs were so close he could see they were bigger than he was. He shuddered. He was a gnat to her now! She waited for his response. He thought about her question and suddenly felt cold. He didn't feel hungry at all. No even peckish. Not full. He just felt, there. He wasn't thirsty and he still didn't feel any need to use a restroom.
Azzy let out a little laugh and said, "Not feeling it huh? Funny side effect that. I get the same way when big. I don't feel hungry or thirsty or any other needs. Oh I could eat if I wanted to I'm sure. Its like... like I'm broken out of the normal mold of the world for a time. The same thing happens to anyone I make small. If I get you back to normal, or close enough you'll return to normal eventually. But until then, you won't want for a thing."
Brian just stared. He felt like she had just fed him a lead brick. Was this possible?
"Just as well," Azzy chimed, "because I really don't feel like feeding you anyway. You understand right? You're not a pet." Azzy picked up the car and held it up to her face, a large blue catlike slitted of a pupil gazing inside, filling Brian's view. "You are a thing. A piece of jewelry. Nothing more. You won't be anybody ever again."
Brian scrambled around as the car tilted and swung about from the piece of wire that held it to the anklet. He manged to pull around his seat belt and put it on, slouched in the passenger seat and looking out at Azzy. He remembered his decision to sell her on his freedom but her booming voice stopped him before he could even get going.
"Well now that you know what you are, its time to put you on. It is going to be a busy day for me!" She bent down and undid the clasp on the anklet and slipped it around her bare ankle and fastened it back up. She looked down to admire it and then took a few steps around, then looked to see that the car had held securely into place. Inside Brian had been buffeted but he was held safely enough by the seat belt for now. He cried out as the world swung wildly and Azzy laughed and did a very short little dance. He felt sick but knew somehow he couldn't throw up. Her dark magic, if that is what it was, had fixed him good. He thought of the possibility of spending the rest of his days like this. Would he even age or would he be passed down generation to generation as a piece of family jewlry, forever trapped? A near madness gripped him at the thought. He had to hold on... survive. And bide his time. She would hear him out eventually. He just had to wait until she was bored of this game.
The day wore on. Azzy did her hair. She microwaved up a breakfast sandwich, which smelled great but didn't trigger any feelings of hunger, just a faint longing for the taste of food. She traipsed around her house, up and down the stairs a few times, tossing Brian about like a rag doll in his seat. She ignored his shouts, and he wondered if she could even hear his gnat like buzzing down there. He wished he had kept his phone. He had not seen it after being lifted from the case. He hoped it was not lost for good. Azzy continued to go about a nearly normal routine, even playing a bit of Minecraft on her PC and chatting with a few friends online. The worst part was when her boyfriend called. She pranced to the phone and then after answering flopped onto her bed. She lay on it so that she could put her right foot up onto the slanted attic ceiling while she talked. This let Brian look down at her body below. She was just wearing a t-shirt and shorts but she looked beautiful. He hated even thinking that but it was true. Of course she was still in high school, probably jail bait and that wasn't his thing. Brian knew he wasn't the nicest guy around but he was no fucking pedo. Still it hurt looking down at her. He had not yet found a woman demure enough to be his. He was biding his time, living up the single life for now. He would have a time to find a wife when he had success in his pocket. Well, he had. Now... now he dangled from the ankle of a high school senior yaking it up with her boyfriend. Trapped in the car he loved more than any woman he had been with, which was now smashed up beyond ruin. She was using HIM as a toy. Rage built up inside him again. He would talk his way out. When he was free, he would find a way to kill her. It would be risky, but he would do it. He would keep that ridiculous orange tuft at the end of her tail as a trophy. This he swore. But he had to get out. If she would just shut the hell up and listen to him. What was she on about anyway? He listened and his heart sank. The prom. Tonight. That meant dancing. Now he wished he could throw up. All that swinging around just from her prancing about the house had made him a dizzy wreck. A dance? He couldn't take that!
Sadly for Brian, Azzy never gave him a chance. She talked for a full hour on her phone with her boyfriend and prom date and then went down for lunch. He was forced to jangle about on her ankle under the table as she spoke with the lady she lived with. Not her mom, she was a rabbit. Maybe she was adopted? He didn't know or care. He tried to wriggle out of the car a few more times, and even screamed at the top of his lungs but no one heard or saw him. He was trapped and too tiny to be of any notice to anyone. It was just him, his crushed car and his bitter rage. He busied himself thinking about how she would die when... if he got out of here.
After lunch Azzy busied herself preparing for the prom. She worked on her hair, and shoulder puffs. She slipped a silvery ring around her tail a few inches up from the flame shaped poof. She slipped off her shorts and shirt and began to change. Despite his anger with her, Brian undid his seatbelt and crawled into the back to look up along her leg at her. He shivered again. She might be on the young side for him, but she was damn fine looking from this angle. She slipped on her dress, a slick black number that looked a bit on the gothy side. She took the anklet off and with a smirk dropped her panties over it as she changed to hide the view. Just adding fuel to the fires of rage in him. She pulled them off and put them back on and put the anklet back into place. She smell of nylon filled the car. He looked out and saw she had somehow manged to get into a pair of slick black nylons. No idea how with that fur. She slipped her feet into a pair of dressy black shoes and then walked over to a mirror to inspect herself. If she had looked good before, she was gorgeous now. It was a pity she had taken things this far. She slipped what looked like a circlet on her head with a blue stone in the center. Some traditional headpiece, almost like a thin crown. She spun a little in a dizzying fashion, her dress blooming out a bit and then she gave her right foot a little stamp and smiled. Brian clenched his teeth as he was jolted around again and then held on as she left the room to head down the stairs again.
Azzy got into her car and drove, her anklet clicking as the baubles swung from her foot as she worked the gas and took curves and corners. After a short drive, she parked and got out and walked through the lot towards the school. Brian could hear the buzz of a crowd as Azzy's shoes clicked down the walkway. Soon she was in a hall and passing lockers, stopping and greeting people. Brian did his best to look out but the world swayed too often to see much than legs and feet moving about. He clenched his hands until his knuckles were white under his fur. Reduced to a bauble and worn to a dance! This shouldn't be possible, even in hell! Azzy suddenly broke into a run and things spun again as something swept her off her feet in a spinning hug.
"Brang!" she cried!
Obviously the boyfriend. He was a kangaroo judging by the feet. He couldn't wear shoes but he wore a white toeless dressy sock over his foot instead. It looked classy enough for a formal dance anyway. Brian got to see a lot of it as Azzy spent the evening dancing and spending time with him. The music thumped and lights and lasers flashed as the packed crowd enjoyed themselves. Brian sat in utter misery in the car, bounced around and humiliated as he watched feet and ankles go by, and just glimpses of people way up above. He was less than a bug to them. Less than dirt! He had to endure watching his captor kiss her boyfriend again and again, looking up as they shared their love, the boyfriend oblivious to Brian's plight below. She didn't even mention him to the guy! He did comment on how pretty she looked and how he liked the anklet but that was it. A moments attention and gone. Was that all he was? Was that all he would ever be?
The night wore on. Azzy had a fabulous time. She and her boyfriend were not king and queen, but they had a wonderful time and near the end spent some time cozying together at one of the corner tables. Azzy's foot swayed as she sat in his lap for a time, her shoe hanging from her toes. Brian had to endure the scent of her feet and the shoe itself from his vantage point and the further humiliation of being reduced to mere jewelry. Finally though, the time came for everyone to depart, the prom was over. Azzy walked through the crowded hallway and at one point had to skirt the crowd past some lockers. Her anklet scraped jarringly on the side a bit as she slid past and then she was moving back towards the middle of the hallway. Something was different in the way the car was bouncing now. It seemed more severe. Brian reached across to grab the steering wheel and held on as it jostled worse and worse. Suddenly there was the sickening feel of free fall and then impact. It wasn't what he expected... it was like he was a feather. It made sense. At his size what looked like a terrifying fall was just a short drop. He looked out the front slit and saw Azzy walking away, her boyfriends arm around her, his big roo tail swaying, hers curled a little around it. The ever cute couple. He was free... of her. But now here he lay in the hallway as dozens of feet stumbled about. Things went dark for a second and everything shook. A huge shoe lifted back up. A girl's shoe with a raised back heel. She had stepped atop him but with just enough room under the arch to keep from crushing him. Could he be killed? He shuddered and did not want to find out. It was bad enough being trapped in here, but dying like an ant trapped in a gum wrapper on a high school hallway floor was just too much. Brian undid his seatbelt and went back to pushing on the roof. He had to get out of here and fast! The car jolted again, throwing him into his seat. He screamed out. Someones foot had scuffed into his car and sent it sliding across the floor. It crashed into the wall just below a locker and bounced back. People continued to go past. He was out of the main hallway now, but here came a nerdy looking feline girl. She had either come dateless or her date had ditched her already. She wore high heels and they clicked closer. She stopped at the locker, the toe of her shoe sickeningly close. Just one shuffle of her foot and he would be crushed... by a nerd! She opened her locker and got out a book she had forgotten earlier and then closed it with a bang. As she moved her shoe slid a little and booted him back across the hall again. The car flipped over and over and landed on its ruined roof. He groaned... he would never pry it up now. More feet went by but the crowd thinned and then vanished.
Brian wanted to sob. What now? Left on the floor? Swept up by the janitor and thrown out like a piece of trash? He heard a door and footsteps. Two girls came out of the restroom, a fox and another feline. They had changed out of their nice dresses and into their normal clothes again. Obviously they had rental dresses and didn't want to risk any damage to them so they had changed. He sneered. What kind of fathers did they have who couldn't win enough bread to buy them a proper dress? He inched towards the window slit facing them. Was it dented a little upwards from being booted? He tried to slip in. It was a little wider. If only the car wasn't upside down now. But he had to try. The footsteps grew closer. He saw with dawning horror that the girls were walking his way. The feline was enough to one side but the fox girl was coming straight on at him. She was pretty despite having changed out of her nice dress. Her brown loafers thumped on the floor as they approached where he lay lost and forgotten on the floor. He wasn't sure how, but he knew it was over. Do or die had become simply... die. At that moment Brian finally lost his mind completely as the fox girl and her friend walked down the hall, her footsteps bearing down on him.
Brian had been on the path to being rich, powerful, and envied. But no one would have envied the wreck of a man that was in that car in the seconds before the pretty fox girl crushed it into a thin piece of foil under her penny loafers. Not anyone.
