Hello, Oblivion
Hello, Oblivion
An Indian elephant in a three piece suit featuring the national colors of his homeland sits in an extra wide seat in first class on a TWA flight. He is alone in his seat in the airplane as he reads a newspaper written what any one would assume is his native language and listening to something on what looks to be an iPod or something similar. Nobody pays him any mind not even the stewards.
"Good afternoon, passengers," The calm serene voice the Captain calls over the public address system. "This is your Captain speaking. We are making our final approach on Cookoo's NestInternationalAirport in exciting AnarchyCity and should arrive within the hour: The tower has assured us there are no meta furs in the vicinity but one can never be sure. So we strongly advise you to keep to keep your seat belts on and pray we don't run into Madame Entropy, The Bugaboo, Gaylord Funk and his Boogie Bandits or any number of the crazies that call this place home."
Below sprawls Anarchy City, America's Asylum as it's called in the media for forty years and counting. It was built in the 60s by a wealthy superhero and counter culture guru Hippo Daddy-O with help of his friends to provide an alternative to the festering conservatism of the day. To the shock of everyone, including its founder, AnarchyCity, the name was initially an in-joke between Hippo Daddy-O and his confederates, has survived and in some ways even thrived.
The elephant from the plane ponders all this as he hires a cab to take him to what looks like an abandoned warehouse in a bad part of town. Attempts at conversation by the cabbie are summarily ignored. When the rat cabbie gets the elephant to his destination he is paid by credit card and then dies when his cab explodes as the passenger just walks away.
The elephant walks into the warehouse and punches in a code to a surprisingly modern keypad just inside the door. Space an apparently time shift and warp when the correct code is entered and the warehouse transforms into a temple to dark entities of Entropy which also serves as a terrorist training camp. Not just the building but the elephant as well as he now wears a form fitting green body suit complete with cowl and an orange Doomsday Clock logo on his chest.
"Hail Oblivion! Emperor of Entropy!" The terrorists, mixed furs of various types and genders, yell in unison with a fascist salute to the elephant.
"Thank you, loyal and faithful soldiers of the Army of Entropy," Oblivion says proudly in recognition of his henchmen. "We stand today on the precipice of a great step foreword on the path to our goals."
A wave of cheers erupts from the masses that Oblivion allows to continue for a brief moment before holding up a hand to stop them.
"This place of Madness has long stood as a bastion of what is wrong with the world since its inception so long ago. It is a monument to the decadence of the west: A shining beacon of its weakness and disgrace. But I did not come necessary to destroy this pit of wickedness merely to hasten its demise. From the rubble we will expand our network, making the ruin our base of the world!"
The cheers and the chants of "Entropy" and "Oblivion" go on for an hour as the elephant goes to his wives and kids deeper in the complex.
Meanwhile at Sentinel Headquarters a red furred grizzly with black hair and gray eyes is just getting up from his bed and makes his way to the bathroom. It's a little silly but he's just wearing black boxer shorts with red valentine hearts all over it. A nude white rabbit smiles and giggles at him although she isn't that much more awake than he is.
"What!?!" The bear growls, "You're laughing at my boxers, she who wore an itsy bitsy eenie weenie Valentine's Day bikini to be last night, Kaleidoscope?"
"I'm sorry, Demolition," Kaleidoscope says as she gets up to join him, "I just thought it funny given the fact that you're also an ex-super villain. I wonder if War Horse is looking for us?"
"I doubt it, but we might be on monitor duty already," Demolition states, "And why are you following me? You're not into watersports are you?"
"No, but you are going to shower right?" Kaleidoscope responds with a lusty wink.
"Yeah but lemme drain the tank first," Demolition says with a smirk.
After quickly doing his business, Demolition prepares the shower while Kaleidoscope does her business. In the shower Kaleidoscope and Demolition wash each other with certain parts getting more attention than others. Once the cleaning is over they get down to other business with the bear pressing the bunny against the wall he takes her.
Entering Demolition's apartment is a Clydesdale in patriotic armor of a semi high tech nature. He frowns as he walks in to see if the bear is at home. After eying the bikini Kaleidoscope wore last night and hearing the noises from the bathroom, he smirks as he can guess where he is.
"Demolition?!" The horse calls in an inquiring manner. "Are you here?" Then to himself in a low tone, "I'd call for Kaleidoscope but more than likely she's in there with him."
"Yo, War Horse!" Demolition calls. "I'll be with you in a bit, I'm in the shower. Whoa! Not now, hun, we have company."
"But Dee!" Kaleidoscope's voice whines. "Wait a sec, did you just call out to War Horse?"
"I'm here Kaleidoscope," War Horse calls. "I'm holding a team meeting. Just getting up?"
"That would be accurate," Demolition asks as Kaleidoscope giggles, "Hush you, I think he can figure out what we're doing in here."
War Horse blinks and then blushes. "I'll meet you two in there conference room then."
With that he leaves and meets Shell on his way to the conference room. The turtle genius notes his boss's embarrassment and inquires why. Smiling, War Horse jerks a thumb to Demolition's door. Shell cocks his head to the side and waits for War Horse to elaborate.
"I found them and they probably haven't touched their email yet so they never got the memo." War Horse relates.
"Valentine's Day was yesterday, man!" Shell says loudly. "The bear is straight and he has his pick of the females on the team. What did you expect?"
War Horse slaps himself in the forehead before giving shell a hug and a kiss.
"I forgot he's atypical for bears," War Horse says,"Do we have time for a quickie?"
"More than likely," Shell responds as he fondles War Horse.
Kaleidoscope comes bouncing into the conference wearing an outfit that could have been inspired by Josie and the Pussy Cats with her fur pattern being something on the order of a blue cheetah and singing the Venga Boys "Boom Boom Boom Boom." Demolition is dressed like an evil clown: black body suit with red triangles on his legs from the cuffs as the base and on his front, back and sleeves with the base at his shoulder is a fool's cap and red fighting gloves makes for a rather bizarre costume. The other team members save Shell and War Horse already in attendance.
A giant panda in a red Kung-Fu uniform featuring a golden dragon motif frowns at the pair, Kaleidoscope specifically. The bunny just sticks out her tongue out as the bear just rolls his eyes. Kaleidoscope's fur change from black and blue to pink with pastel purple polka dots with her hair becoming a riot of neon green and orange along with her eyes.
Next to the panda a chameleon idly swivels his eyes as he changes his form to various objects and things. Across from him is a bald cobra whose scales and costume contains every color of the rainbow with storm clouds at the shoulders and a rainbow over hir breasts. Sitting next to hir is a lady ferret who stretches herself like a rubber band and gazes lustfully at the bear.
Across from the snake and near the panda is a badger in an outfit looking like a generic hockey goalie combined with the standard spandex of the superhero set. Next to the Goalie is a monkey man in the attire of a mystic who nods to the pair as they approach. Kaleidoscope sits next to Seer, the monkey with Demolition next to her.
"Nice of you two to join us," The cobra herm says with mocking sarcasm. "When did you get the memo?"
"We didn't, Rainbow Serpent," Demolition growls, "War Horse came to call as we were taking a shower."
"You got remarkably clean all things considered," The ferret jokes.
"Even as they were probably being dirty?" The badger says, "Or are we stretching the truth?"
"How accurate Stretcher Truth is, Goalie, is none of anyone's business," Kaleidoscope says as the panda glares, "I'll even spare you the details, Dragon First."
"Seer," The chameleon asks, "Do you know what's keeping out illustrious leader and his lover?"
"No, Impostor, I don't," Seer answers without emotion, "But I suspect that Demolition and Kaleidoscope gave them an idea."
"Let's see," Impostor says as he lifts up his screen from the table and logs into the team's matrix. "The not he gave is rather vague. He just mentions an incoming super villain."
"Let me see, what's in my in box," Demolition says. "I still keep correspondents with other super henchmen and minor league villains."
A few Sentinels give him dirty looks that he ignores. "Oh, no! Not him again!" Even those that disapprove of him visually plead with him to continue. "Oblivion is either on his way or is already here in AnarchyCity."
"The name is familiar," Rainbow Serpent says, "Why?"
"You remember an organization called the Army of Entropy?" Demolition asks to which Rainbow Serpent nods. "He's the current leader of that group."
"Now everyone is here, good," War Horse announces but nobody notices.
"Somebody find something on their station?" Shell asks as everyone is looking at Demolition.
"Did you know Oblivion was on his way?" Demolition asks.
"That piece of news is more or less why I called this meeting," War Horse states. "You might have more insight on this than we do, Demolition."
"Oblivion is a powerful villain as you all might surmise," Demolition starts, "He and Madame Entropy started the Army of Entropy while two was still working for Lady Thumperdoom. And she was loosely associated with the Army. Move of a matter of convenience than anything else. But I don't know this had a base right here in AnarchyCity."
"WHAT!?!" Shell thunders, "Wait a second, you told us this already right?" To which Demolition just nods, "Do you have a time table?"
"Not much but I would assume by now he's here and at their base," Demolition states in speculations.
An alarm goes off that Shell checks on.
"Robbery in progress at the Money Market," Shell reports, "Surveillance is showing me a bunch of random furs in black garb with an orange clock symbol. Same one Oblivion uses I think."
"It's one of the organizational symbols of the Army of the Entropy," Demolition says matter-of-factly, "The clock is the Doomsday Clock which is used to signify how close we were to nuclear annihilation."
"I know there were a lot of villains that wanted to nudge that needle in Hippo Daddy-O's time," Seer says, "But thankfully they never succeeded."
"Didn't you say you met Oblivion at some point, Demolition?" Dragon Fist asks.
"Once yes, acting as Thumperdoom's bodyguard along with a wolf named Fenryx," Demolition admits, "He could be arrogant and bombastic. Ultimately after the meeting Thumperdoom decided she wanted out."
"She died soon after?" Kaleidoscope asks fearfully, to which Demolition nods, "My poor, poor cousin..." Now everyone looks to Kaleidoscope. "I forgot to mention our mothers were sisters?"
Dragon Fist just glowers at Kaleidoscope as it explains how she was able to get the bear in her bed. "We have much to discuss, you and I," is all Dragon Fist says which unnerves Kaleidoscope.
"If we can get back to the task at hand?" War Horse demands. "Demolition, what do you know?"
"Not much," Demolition says as he looks at his monitor, "He isn't recruiting or boasting anything but nebulous big plans which could be anything and before you even ask I don't think I could infiltrate them. To the Army of Entropy I was made persona non-grata years ago. Nothing I did was construed as anything but in the light of being an associate of Lady Thumperdoom I'm not exactly welcome by her former business partners." Then he looks at security feed that Shell was looking at. "Yup, those are Army of Oblivion troops alright. If we move fast we can meet them head on."
"You seriously don't think they are still at the same location?" Shell asks incredulously as Demolition just smirks, "I know they might think they base is secure since we haven't raided it yet but groups like this are paranoid."
"Fine, don't believe me," Demolition says as he goes to get up. "We have a battle van ready to go now if I am not mistaken. If you don't mind, I will go to where I think they will be and those that want to join me can do so."
"I'll go with you," Dragon Fist says definitely. "I have a sneaking suspicion you could be right."
"I believe you, Demolition," Kaleidoscope says, "I'm up for a road trip as well."
"Keep in touch, Demolition," War Horse orders, "Anyone else wants to go with him?"
"I'll go," Impostor says, "if he's right I want a good look at this place for future reference."
"Good hunting, team," Shell says as he watches them leave.
"Are you sure about this?" Rainbow Serpent asks once the four have gone. "We are still evaluating Demolition's sincerity of coming onto our side."
"I would be more concerned with Impostor's loyalty than Demolition's," Seer states, "I know you distrust him, Rainbow, but I have meditated on the situation and I have more questions about our chameleon and how easily he could be a spy for someone else. Demolition is a meta-fur like the rest of us. He was loyal to Thumperdoom but since she is no longer with us he is adrift. Fenryx became a bounty hunter. We have given the bear a home. His loyalty I know we have..."
"I'm keyed in on Demolition if things get too hairy," Goalie states. "I don't like this either but it's not the ex-henchman I'm worried about. He's working for us now, guys like that don't rat out their bosses or their friends or their compatriots."
"I know Impostor has been in contact with a number of sources," Shell relates, "Most of which I couldn't monitor. That gets me suspicious. Demolition has been open with us since day one. Seer and Goalie have a point, we can trust Demolition, Impostor is a question mark."
In the battle van, Demolition drives with Dragon Fist riding next to him covertly monitoring the situation as best she can. Kaleidoscope is at the communications and surveillance station monitoring known frequencies as well as news broadcasts for reports as Impostor taps away at a laptop computer. Dragon Fist gives Demolition and Kaleidoscope looks as she sees a black van armed and armored careen onto the street before them.
"I see them, Yuri," Demolition says to Dragon Fist besides him. "Right now I'm going to try and not get us made."
"The other battle van is broadcasting," Kaleidoscope reports, "but I have no idea what they're saying, and it's a mish mash of national tongues."
"Old trick," Demolition says grimly, "take key words from many languages make slang out of them. It's been done for centuries. If you know the lingo the message is clear, but those outside the set are confused."
"I'm getting some bad readings, Mike," Kaleidoscope cautions. "I think their powering up their weapons."
"Recognize me, don't you?" Demolition chuckles darkly. "Dragon Fist, I'm counting on you to keep us safe."
"I already have a lock on their main turret with a tactical rocket," Dragon Fist states and then gets a nod from Demolition, "Firing now."
The blast destroys the other battle van's gun turret which of course throws them into a panic as it tries to emit a smokescreen. The Army of Entropy van sets off mini mines everywhere to discourage pursuit which Demolition avoids. The other team did not recognize Demolition or else they would not have made for their base directly but tried to do more than throw up a smokescreen to try and lose him.
At the abandoned warehouse the Army of Entropy battle van speeds to the loading dock at full speed as if was going to crash through the doors only to have the door open for them at the last second. Demolition parked their van far enough away not to be noticed but close enough for the others to catch the show. Kaleidoscope and Dragon Fist are practically floored but Impostor is intrigued.
"OK," Impostor postulates, "how do we get in?"
"Oh, there are a few methods. But once inside," Demolition looks over at Kaleidoscope with seriousness, "We're going to need to bend the lights within to dispel illusions."
"Something I can do quite well when I'm focused," Kaleidoscope says with a smirk to which Dragon Fist just shakes her head.
Kaleidoscope practices her own brand of invisibility by focusing her light manipulating powers to bend the visible spectrum around themselves in such away as to render them invisible. Now that the team is cloaked as they are creeps in through a service entrance on the loading dock as Demolition punches in a code into a key pad to the side of the door. Once inside Kaleidoscope refocuses her powers from cloaking their presence to revealing the interior for what it really is.
The warehouse transforms from a barren floor to a labyrinth of steel and plaster where random furs in the same black uniforms skulk about above and below. Dragon Fist and Kaleidoscope both give looks to Demolition as if inquiry that what they are seeing is what they are really seeing only to get a confirmation nod from the bear. Impostor uses his abilities to make himself look like one of the terrorists so he can meander about unhindered while the other three skulk about.
Kaleidoscope is visibly nervous as she acts in a manner that is highly skittish. Demolition holds and fondles her in order to calm her down which Dragon Fist shakes her head at but says nothing to discourage him from doing so. Instead she hugs him from behind as they move deeper into the complex.
As Demolition, Dragon Fist and Kaleidoscope they are surprised by a team of ninja terrorists. Kaleidoscope is taken down and dragged away before she can even react but those that try similar tactics on the bears get a surprise of their own. Dragon Fist is able to turn the tables on the ninja by sheer skill while Demolition is un-phased by their initial attack and puts a few through some walls by sheer raw power.
Veteran members of the organization recognition Demolition and dog pile on top of him to overwhelm the bear by sheer numbers. Similar tactics overcomes Dragon Fist as they are then stripped nude and taken to the interrogation rooms. The sounds of screams bring them back around.
A female cobra is whipping a nude Kaleidoscope when Demolition and Dragon Fist come around. Demolition has his testicles in a parachute ball stretcher as he is suspended above the ground. Dragon Fist has bamboo slivers in her tits and clitoris which causes her great pain upon awakening.
The cobra femme has pierced Kaleidoscopes nipples with rings that she attaches weights to slowly but surely. Both girls are in pain as Demolition just hangs there and uses his weight to stretch the chains suspending him from the ceiling. As a random thing the snake takes her whip and cracks it against Demolition's abdomen.
"I know you're awake, Demolition," the cobra growls. "The venom doesn't sedate folks this long even if they don't have the kind of physiology super heroes possess." Then Demolition breaks free of his bonds. "WHAT!?! Those where the super strong ones! How did you?"
"I know the ins and outs of all your playthings, Inquisition," Demolition says with a smirk. "You forgot I used to be part of this operation and I know your methods."
"I never could keep you caged for long," Inquisition says with a smirk before Demolition gives her a straight punch that knocks her out.
"INQUISITION!!!" A voice thunders behind Demolition that Kaleidoscope and Dragon Fist can see belongs to Oblivion even if they don't know who he is. "How dare you, bear?"
"Hello, Oblivion, how's the wife and kids?" Demolition jokingly inquires. As soon as recognition seeps in, Oblivion gives him a smile as the bear continues. "So what do you have planned, Mister Have Trunk Will Travel?"
"We've been preparing for months now, Demolition, the Sentinels of Freedom haven't got a clue what is in store for this city," Oblivion gloats. "We're talking obliviation here. Even if you could actually beat me and escape with your playmates..." He then sees Kaleidoscope. "Thumperdoom? No, she's dead, but it looks like you found a replacement for her soon enough, Demolition."
"You talk too much, Oblivion," Demolition grumbles to goad the elephant, "Always talking big things with NOTHING to back it up."
"We got the power plants in our sites, Demolition," Oblivion boasts, "I have people in place to blow the Cuckoo's Nest sky high along with City Hall. What do you have? You're an ex-henchman. Nobody's gonna believe you."
"Got that, Impostor?" Demolition asks, seemingly of one of Oblivion's own.
"Oh, yeah, and so does, Shell," the terrorist says before morphing into the costumed chameleon hero, Impostor. "I hope you have these plans ready to go at a moment's notice, old boy."
"A spy!?! In my organization!?!" Oblivion asks at full volume before Demolition clocks him.
Oblivion responds in kind as the two get to brawling. Kaleidoscope sings "Kung Fu Fighting" as Impostor seals the chamber from the rest of the complex. Dragon Fist just smirks and laughs through her pain as she watches Demolition trash Oblivion. Oblivion may be an elephant but he's so far up in the organization his fighting skills have slightly atrophied.
Kaleidoscope manages to free herself when Oblivion gets a good solid hit that pushes Demolition into the contraption holding her fast. Impostor makes sure that Inquisition stays out cold as Kaleidoscope picks herself up off the floor and attends to Dragon Fist. Demolition gets a solid punch to Oblivion's mid section as Kaleidoscope removes the bamboo slivers from Dragon Fist's body and then suckles at her tits and clit after she removes the pain inducing pins.
Dragon Fist moans as she is attended to by Kaleidoscope. Demolition grabs Oblivion by the trunk and begins to throw him about. After he careens into more than a few of Inquisition's more inspired torture machines as well as running over Inquisition herself the elephant is dazed enough that one power punch to the chin from Demolition lays him out on top of one of his wives.
"Don't you dare!" Dragon Fist growls in mock anger as Demolition go to free her. "I'm not going to have many opportunities like this so I'll take advantage of it when it occurs." She looks to Kaleidoscope, "Get him hard, girl then let us be."
Kaleidoscope giggles and just gives Demolition a blow job to get him hard as Demolition gropes at Dragon Fist's breasts. Impostor just shakes his head and watches the porn show while he puts a hand down his pants for obvious uses. Dragon Fist just moans as she gets what she wants from bear and bunny.
Demolition is easily able to penetrate Dragon Fist's folds when he gets nice and hard down below. As Demolition takes Dragon Fist from behind, Kaleidoscope first kisses Dragon Fist passionately before Dragon Fist kisses Kaleidoscope's breasts. Demolition and Kaleidoscope grope at Dragon Fist's breasts as the panda starts to eat out the bunny while she is getting fucked by the bear.
Shell sets up a teleportation circle when the team is ready to come home. The turtle surprised when the three mammals show up carrying their costumes rather than wearing them. Oblivion and his organization evacuate their facility after Demolition leaves and Impostor goes to pick up the van and drive it home, their plans foiled before they began as the terrorist leader plans anew.
