A New Year's Getaway - Part Two.
#2 of A New Year's Getaway
So, this got finished a little later than I would have liked, but anyway here's part two.
When hoping for a romantic getaway to commemorate 2018, Jamie finds that his date isn't quite the canine he was expecting.
Jamie spent the first part of the train ride sitting in silence, trying to comprehend what had gone wrong.
Douglas was sitting opposite, chatting away about how exciting the New Year weekend was going to be. Jamie smiled politely and forced a wag out of his tail, but his mind was racing. Either David texted the wrong number or he did this as some kind of prank. He decided the first scenario was more likely given that the Badger wanted to get to know Charlotte too. "I was thinking we go for dinner when we arrive, once we've dropped off our stuff," Douglas said. "Is something wrong?" "Oh, no it's all good," Jamie replied. "I was just watching the scenery," he added, gesturing out of the window. The patch of countryside they were passing through was indeed beautiful with rolling hills and deep valleys covered in snow. "This part of England is really pretty, but it's not long 'til we get to Scotland now," Douglas said, thumping his tail against his seat. Jamie felt a pang of guilt; Douglas seemed so happy about going to Edinburgh and he didn't want to let on that he had been expecting to go with someone else.
Instead, Jamie sat back in his seat and thought about the times he and Douglas had spent together at university. In his mind's eye, he drifted off to a time when they went rowing together as a pair and had gone to get changed in the clubhouse afterwards. That was fun Douglas had grinned as he stretched out. Douglas gazed at the Wolf's toned body before snapping himself out of it. Damn, you don't mind if I get changed here? I have a meeting with my dissertation supervisor in half an hour Douglas sighed. Um, no, not at all Jamie replied, feeling slightly bashful. He tried to avert his gaze as the Wolf stripped out of his shirt and then slid his shorts down to reveal a butt clad in a pair of white Wolf & Coyote briefs. Douglas knew that such underwear was expensive as he had spent his spare time browsing the web looking at designer brands like Calvin Klein, Aussiebum and Wolf & Coyote. He would hover over purchasing a nice looking pair of briefs, before sighing and deciding that he had to spend the money on food instead. The sight of Douglas' butt in his white pair caused Jamie's cock to stiffen. The material was semi-translucent; he could see the dark patch of the Wolf's tail hole as Douglas bent down to spray deodorant on and retrieve his shirt. Jamie found himself wondering if Douglas would mind if he reached out to sniff at the Wolf's tail hole and ease the briefs down, but Douglas stood back up to pull on a pair of jeans and a polo shirt. Catch you later the Wolf grinned, giving Jamie something between a hug and a squeeze on the shoulder.
"Jamie?" Jamie was snapped back to the present and looked up to see Douglas watching him with an expression of concern and curiosity. "You okay, you seem a little distracted?" "Yeah, sorry, I was thinking about something," Jamie stammered. He glanced back out of the window and then down. There was a visible bulge in his jeans. Jamie tried to slide under the table to hide it while pretending to admire the view outside. "Anyway, there's a nice place near my aunt's flat. It's like an underground pub, but it serves all sorts of traditional foods. Have you had haggis before?" Douglas asked. "No, I haven't," Jamie admitted, thinking it sounded revolting. "Well, there's a first time for everything," Douglas chuckled. "I'd better book us a table, they'll be totally packed tonight I bet." "That sounds like a good idea," Jamie smiled while silently willing his erection to go away. "I'm so happy you asked me if we should go away somewhere," Douglas said. "I never thought you would ask me a question like that." Jamie opened his mouth to reply, but couldn't formulate the words in his mind. "Oh look, we've reached Scotland now," Douglas said before Jamie had a chance to speak. Jamie cocked his ears and glanced out of the window. "Are we?" he asked. "I was expecting to see something to say so." "What, like someone wearing a kilt and playing the bagpipes?" Douglas chuckled. "I guess," Jamie replied. Despite his initial awkwardness, he couldn't help but smile and chuckle along with Douglas.
The train continued on through the rolling countryside and soon the outskirts of Edinburgh appeared. Jamie watched as they passed houses and then stone gothic buildings. Edinburgh Castle stood regally on the hill, silhouetted against the afternoon sun. "Pretty, isn't it?" Douglas grinned. "It is," Jamie mused just as an announcement crackled over the train's PA system that they would soon be pulling into the station. The train drew to a halt and Jamie grabbed his bag. Douglas followed suit and they joined the line of passengers to leave the train. The platform outside was busy with people travelling for the weekend, but Jamie kept close to Douglas and followed him through the turnstiles. "The apartment isn't far from here," the Wolf explained, wagging his tail. "We can walk if you feel up to it?" "Sure," Jamie replied. He followed Douglas out onto the street and found himself surrounded by all the gothic, yellow stone buildings. They walked along a side street which was paved with cobblestone. Jamie cocked an ear as he listened to the faint whooshing sound caused by the cars made as they drove over the cobbles.
Above, the sun was starting to set and the Victorian street lights were flickering on. "It's just down here," Douglas announced as he led Jamie down another side street. "Aha, here we are!" the Wolf announced as he wagged his tail. They had stopped outside a Regency era terraced house with an oak wood front door. Jamie watched as Douglas unlocked it and led up him the stairs. The apartment was located on the top floor and Jamie felt a little worn out after they had climbed the stairs. "Here we go," Douglas said as he unlocked the door. The Wolf opened it to reveal a small but modern looking apartment. The floor was bare wood while paintings of the Scottish highlands hung on the walls. "I'll put some clean sheets on the bed and call that restaurant, it's possible they won't have places left," Douglas said as he walked to the bedroom. Jamie was about to reply when he heard his phone buzz in his pocket. He slid it out to see a message from David;
Hey mate,
Hope you and Charlotte are having fun lol. Tell me all about it later.
Jamie sighed and slid his phone away. His muzzle then broke into a grin as began to find the situation funny; David had no idea what was going on. He cocked his ear as he heard Douglas taking in the bedroom. "You have a place left? Fantastic," the Wolf said into his phone as he emerged. "See you in a bit. Bye," Douglas then turned to Jamie and shot him a grin. "Amazingly they had a place left." "Ace," Jamie replied. "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling quite hungry so I booked it for about ten minutes from now which means if we set off we'll arrive on time, plus we don't want to miss any of the sights later," Douglas explained. "That's fine," Jamie replied, placing his rucksack down on the floor. "Fantastic, let's go!" Douglas said, and Jamie was sure the Wolf was about to reach for his paw, only to stop himself. Instead, they made their way out of the front door in silence and back down to the street. "It's a pretty route," Douglas explained as they started walking. They made their way out onto a main street which was already filling up with revellers, some of them singing drunkenly. Jamie glanced up at the castle which was now lit up as the sun disappeared. "This is it," Douglas said, gesturing to what looked like a doorway which led below street level.
The door led to a set of steps which they followed down into a vaulted restaurant. The place looked like a scene from the medieval era with its bare stone walls and wooden tables, but each table had a candle resting on it which cast out a soft and relaxing light. Douglas spoke to a Vixen waitress who showed them to a table at the side. "Interesting set up," Jamie mused. "The food is pretty good," Douglas replied. "I would recommend you try haggis, despite what you've heard about it." "Hmm," Jamie replied neutrally, not feeling sure about the idea. "It's great if you don't think about it," Douglas laughed. "And if you really hate it there's a chip shop around the corner." "Um, why not then," Jamie smiled and Douglas ordered their food once the waitress returned. "I know it's not as traditional, but would you like some wine with it?" Douglas asked. "Sounds good," Jamie grinned, so Douglas added a bottle of red wine to their order. "So, what made you message out of the blue wanting to go away?" Douglas asked. "I mean, I'm really pleased you asked me, but I thought you'd want to go somewhere with Charlotte. You seem kinda into her." "Oh, uh," Jamie replied, trying to think of what to say. "Charlotte is probably out of my league," he said, but winced as soon as the words had escaped his muzzle. "Is something wrong?" Douglas asked. "I'm fine," Jamie claimed, although in his mind he didn't want Douglas to think that he was implying that the Wolf was second best. Douglas didn't appear at all offended. "I got worried something had upset you?" Douglas said. "Not at all, it's nice to get away," Jamie replied. He could see the Wolf's eyes reflected in the candle light and suddenly felt taken by his concerned demeanour. "Thanks for agreeing to have me with you," he added. "It's cool mate," Douglas grinned. "I happy you asked me, ah, here's the wine." The waitress returned with the bottle and poured them both a glass.
Jamie watched as Douglas sniffed at his glass before taking a sip. "It's good, you should try some," he encouraged. Jamie tried some from his glass and found that it was indeed good. The food showed up a moment later and Jamie examined it. "Those are neaps and tatties," Douglas explained as Jamie dug his fork in. "That was better than I was expecting," Jamie admitted as he ate. "A lot of people have told me how gross Haggis was." "Hey, don't knock it until you try it," Douglas grinned, and Jamie wondered if there was something more mischievous about the Wolf's grin than met the eye. They ate in silence before the waitress took their plates away. "That really was better than I expected," Jamie grinned. "I'm glad, it makes me happy when I take a guy somewhere and they enjoy it. I'm always worried they won't like it," Douglas admitted. "How many guys have you taken to places?" Jamie asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Um, honestly. You're the first," Douglas said, splaying his ears. "I was glad when you suggested doing something." "Oh, I'm glad too," Jamie replied, although he felt a pang of guilt inside that it had happened by accident.
They continued drinking their wine as the evening drew on. Jamie kept glancing up at Douglas and couldn't help but notice how the Wolf's eyes reflected the candlelight. He's handsome, perhaps it worked out better that I'm here with Douglas, not Charlotte, Jamie thought. Even though he had eaten a substantial meal, he was starting to feel the wine go to his head. "Sometimes I think the best things happen by accidents," Douglas murmured. "Sorry?" Jamie replied, wondering if he had heard the Wolf correctly. "You didn't plan to come here with me originally?" Jamie felt trapped and not sure what to say. He opened his mouth but Douglas fixed him a reassuring smile. "How did you know?" he finally asked, feeling the question sounded pathetic. "The way you always seemed a little distracted and didn't give full answers to everything." "Oh, heh," Jamie stumbled over his words. "But honestly, I'm glad it worked out the way it did. I had fun tonight." "The exciting part comes next," Douglas grinned. "But I'm happy it worked out the way it did too," the Wolf added. "I'd actually been wanting to get closer to you for some time," Jamie admitted, feeling his ears splay. "But I had my eye on Charlotte for a while, and then I realised I had my eye on you too." "Thing is, if you'd ended up with Charlotte I can't imagine you being dragged on shopping trips or to Katy Perry concerts," Douglas chuckled. "I can't either, you're not going to do either of those?" Jamie teased. "Nope, remember we planned to go to that rock gig after class once," Douglas replied. "Ah yeah, sorry I didn't," Jamie said. He had claimed he had too many assignments to work on, but in reality he was nervous about going out with Douglas in case it led to further events. "And shopping isn't my favourite task, unless it's for sexy underwear," Douglas continued with a wink. "I've been meaning to get some like the ones you have," Jamie admitted with a grin. "I actually got changed in the clubhouse in front of you on purpose, to see if you'd seem interested in me," Douglas chuckled, looking half amused, half embarrassed. "Heh, I'm not complaining," Jamie replied.
The pair sat in silence for a minute, gazing at each other. Jamie felt a feeling of contentment that he was with Douglas. "So, would you say this is a date then?" Jamie asked, before feeling embarrassed and wanting to cram the words back into his muzzle. "Would you like it to be?" Douglas asked. Jamie paused, and then nodded with a grin. "Then it is, oh, we'd better get back up to the street or we won't get a good view," Douglas said, raising his paw to signal to the waitress. Once Douglas had paid, despite Jamie's offer to settle it, they made their way back up to street level. People were already lining the pavement and a procession was beginning; Wolves, Foxes and various other canines were marching along carrying flaming torches and wearing Viking-like helmets. Jamie craned his neck to watch, but couldn't see over a burly Bear who was standing in front of him. "We could go up to the flat?" Douglas suggested. "The bedroom window looks down over this street." "Let's," Jamie replied and they turned to walk back to the flat.
Douglas unlocked the front door and they rushed upstairs. They ran to the bedroom window and Douglas opened it. The noise flooded into the room and Jamie watched the parade go by. It was captivating with the dancing light of the torches as they reflected off the buildings opposite. Jamie felt Douglas' paw take his and squeeze it. He turned to fix the Wolf a smile. "The fireworks will begin soon," Douglas explained, holding on to Jamie's paw. As Jamie watched, the fireworks began exploding over the castle and lit up the sky in a cascade of red and green light. "It looks amazing," Jamie murmured. "Isn't it?" Douglas replied. Jamie turned to face the Wolf and wondered whether he should do more than just hold his paw, but he hesitated. Douglas made up his mind for him and leaned forwards to kiss Jamie on the muzzle. "I hope that wasn't too much?" Douglas asked, looking concerned. "No, it wasn't at all," Jamie replied as he kissed the Wolf back as the fireworks continued to explode outside. He opened his mouth and allowed Douglas's tongue to explore the inside of his muzzle. The sensation of kissing Douglas felt strange, but good. "Look," Douglas said as they broke off. Jamie glanced out of the window and saw that it was snowing again. The snowflakes began covering the gothic rooftops and coating the windowsill in a white sheet. "We'd better close the window," Jamie grinned as his breath fogged in front of his muzzle. Douglas chuckled as he reached out and pulled the window shut. "Let's get warm," the Wolf suggested, gesturing to the bed.
Jamie shed his coat and lay down on the covers. Douglas lay beside him and their muzzles met for another kiss. "Um, how far have you gone with another guy before?" Douglas asked. Jamie felt his ears splay; his experience with guys hadn't extended further than drunkenly making out with a stranger in a club once. Douglas seemed to read his mind before he could answer. "We'll take it slow, but have fun," the Wolf grinned as he reached to unbuckle Jamie's belt. Jamie could feel his dick already growing hard in his underwear and he allowed the Wolf to slide his jeans off to reveal a sizeable bulge. He closed his eyes as he felt Douglas paw at his bulge. The Wolf chuckled as he rubbed Jamie's shaft through the fabric. "My, you are hung. I thought you would be since I saw the outline of your cock every time we got changed to go rowing," Douglas mused as he stroked the contour of Jamie's dick. "Heh, I am a Shep," Jamie replied, before wincing as he thought the joke came across as arrogant, but Douglas didn't seem to mind. "I'm struggling to get hard as I'm cold," Douglas said with a half chuckle, half sigh. "Gimme a sec and keep stroking that cock." Douglas scooted off the bed and ran to turn the thermostat for the heating up. "There we go," the Wolf said, before shedding his coat and jeans. Jamie felt his dick pulse as he noticed Douglas was wearing the white Wolf & Coyote briefs with the semi-translucent fabric; the dark patch of the Wolf's tail hole was once again clearly visible.
Douglas scooted back onto the bed and wrapped his arms around Jamie. They continued kissing as their bulges ground against each other. Jamie felt his underwear tenting out as his cock fully emerged from his sheath. He tugged his shirt off as Douglas did the same, before reaching down to allow his dick to poke free of his underwear. Douglas was still grinding against him, so Jamie reached up and massaged the Wolf's butt with his paws. The Wolf & Coyote briefs felt soft and silky under his touch, but Jamie could also feel the fuzziness of Douglas's fur underneath. He slipped his paws under the fabric and squeezed the Wolf's butt. Douglas let out a playful growl as Jamie kept squeezing. "Would you like to see it up close?" the Wolf grinned. An uncontrollable grin spread across Jamie's mouth. "Yes," he chuckled. Douglas rearranged himself so he butt was facing Jamie's muzzle. "There's something I like having done," Douglas said as he raised his tail. Jamie had an inkling what the Wolf meant and it was something he had been curious about. The dark patch of Douglas's tail hole through the fabric of his briefs made the feeling curiosity grow even strong. Jamie reached out and eased the Wolf's underwear down, exposing Douglas's stretched out tail hole. He leaned forwards and sniffed at the hole. Douglas didn't smell unclean, just musky in a way that caused Jamie to feel very turned on. Gripping Douglas's thighs, Jamie licked the tail hole. Douglas gave a faint grunt of please, so Jamie kept licking, plastering the bare patch of skin around the Wolf's hole with wet laps. Douglas huffed as Jamie began making out with the hole as if it was someone's mouth; slavering it with more licks and pushing the tip of his tongue into the opening. He pulled back and grinned before giving Douglas's hole one last wet kiss. "I think I know how to repay the favour," Douglas huffed as he collapsed on the covers. Jamie closed his eyes and thumped his tail as he anticipated what would come next.
He felt Douglas paw his bulge again before the Wolf slid his underwear down, which Jamie thought was just as well since the fabric had become sticky with his pre. "Wow, you are a leaky Shep," Douglas chuckled before Jamie felt the Wolf's muzzle close around the tip of his cock. He gripped the sheets as Douglas licked the tip clean before working his way up and down the shaft, rubbing his rough and wet tongue against it. "Hnng, this is really good," Jamie moaned as Douglas's motions grew more frantic. Without any feeling of warning, he felt a sudden surging feeling and came hard into Douglas's muzzle. The Wolf stayed in place and swallowed the whole load. "S... sorry, I didn't mean to get off that quick," Jamie panted. "It's okay," Douglas grinned as he licked his muzzle clean. "Have you been sucked off by a guy before?" "No," Jamie admitted, splaying his ears. "Heh, that's why you're a little sensitive, but it's all good," Douglas said as he reached over and stroked Jamie's cheek. Jamie was about to respond when he heard his phone vibrate. He ignored it and allowed Douglas to pull him into another kiss.
The two canines sat on the bed, making out in silence- save for the occasional moan. Jamie eventually broke off and let out a yawn. "I'm feeling tired," he sighed. "We could go to sleep," Douglas suggested. "It's been a late night, but I had fun." "Same here," Jamie grinned as he slid off the bed and checked his phone. There was a message waiting from David;
Hey mate,
Happy New Year. Got laid yet? ;)
Jamie sighed, feeling the moment of intimacy had somehow been interrupted by David's text. A half smile appeared on his muzzle as he typed out a message back.
Yes, with a Wolf I really like.
He threw his phone on top of his pile of clothes and followed Douglas to the bathroom. The Wolf had already turned on the shower and he gestured for Jamie to join him. They stood under the water and kissed. "Feeling clean?" Douglas asked after a few minutes. "Yes," Jamie smiled. Douglas shut off the water and they climbed out the shake themselves dry. "I feel like snuggling," Douglas chuckled as he took Jamie's paw to lead him back to the bedroom.
Douglas lifted up the covers and Jamie slid underneath. "I know I keep saying this, but I'm glad you suggested us going away," Douglas whispered. "So am I," Jamie replied, feeling a warm sense of contentment inside. "Um, can we do this again?" "Of course we can, and I want to do it all the time, not just on special occasions," Douglas replied. "That makes me happy to hear that," Jamie replied as he kissed the Wolf on the snoot before laying down on the pillow to gaze into Douglas's eyes.
It seemed the New Year was off to a good start already.
