"What has happened to Tenchi now?" The question had barely been asked by Diopia before a voice rung in the air, "She found the one who did something really bad." Everyone looked around in confusion before Sas'Ha appeared near Diopia and tore open rifts around her to materialize every royal or royalesque leader of the realms in a crowd before Peridot sighed, "Mother... you are too much right now."
Peridot waved them all to the clinic, where Arashi was laying in her own pen with life support machines connected to her, making most of the leaders cover their maws as Peridot explained the situation to them and once she was done explaining, Sas'Ha turned away from the others and began to walk out, making Peridot look confused at her and so did every leader as well before one of the leaders spoke up, "Can't you bring her back, Queen of Death?"
Sas'Ha stood still and seemed to think before turning her head slightly, "Before I answer that question. Who will bring back Tenchi?" Peridot looked even more confused, "Mother, why don't you just bring her back here like you brought her away from here?" Sas'Ha turned forward, "Because she needs her time to calm down. At the moment, she has so much untapped power that is leaking out of her body that it could tear down this entire place."
Peridot approached Sas'Ha before putting her hand on her mother's back, "You are not being yourself, mother. You are plotting something." Sas'Ha looked back at Peridot and turned to face her, "Okay, I will tell. That person was someone who didn't know about Hauga's fall. They have served the Shadowtail tribe ever since the first pet trade of Thunder Skyroyals, and this had allowed them to perfect techniques to bring down even the toughest opponents. And seeing as Arashi is a big girl, it means that I had to let Tenchi have more power than she could handle. And she needs to learn to control it."
Peridot moved back a few steps before watching Sas'Ha moving again towards the door, the chains whipping forward to try and hook onto her, but Sas'Ha seemed to have gained quite a reaction speed as she didn't only manage to catch the hooks in stone hands, but also pulled Peridot in so fast that fear filled Peridot's body, only to be soothed when Sas'Ha hugged her, "Hush now, Peridot. I made a poor choice, but it didn't only hurt the planet, but it hurt me too."
Peridot looked at Sas'Ha before gasping as she saw that one of Sas'Ha's arms were slowly crumbling, "Wait, I thought you were the negative of the planet." Sas'Ha nodded, "Yes, but I am also the planet itself." Peridot didn't believe it, but Sas'Ha spoke to Lòeón through telepathy, "Father of the Dragons, I must ask you for something unusual." Lòeón replied in his most calm voice possible, seemingly curious, "What is it?"
Peridot didn't stay long as she ran out of the building and roared loudly, calling all of the Frostclaws before looking at them, "We need a team to bring Tenchi back home. Kichiro, you go. Ainohi, you go too. Kari, you are going too. You three are fireproof like Tenchi." The trio was nodding before they roared themselves and each of their lavascale wyverns came flying and landed near them before they saddled up, but Kichiro asked Peridot the obvious question, "Where are we going?" The answer came as a sudden aftershock and the wyverns seemed to be afraid and try to escape their pens, forcing all the Frostclaws to quickly help each other to calm them down.
More didn't need to be known as Kichiro had already picked up on it and waved to the girls to follow on their wyverns as they headed southwest and out to the water as clouds in the distance formed from steam rising from the water surface and seeming to not move at all. And the closer they got, the more intense the power was becoming until they were almost at its apex and witnessed how Tenchi stood at the bottom of the sea, covered in a bubble of hot air from the power leaking out, the steam billowing out from below and from the looks, there were many Tikxean soldiers surrounding her as well.
Ainohi looked at her wyvern before nodding, "Stay with the other ones, girl." The wyvern roared before Ainohi took a leap of faith from the wyvern's back, listening to the sounds of the sea before feeling the water splashing around her when she broke the surface and swam towards the guards that quickly swam towards her and raised their weapons before Ainohi lifted a hand to draw a sigil in front of her, the guards stopping in their place and bowed to her, "Oh, apologies. We didn't know you were a representative of an embassy."
Ainohi waved them away, "Let me handle this. It is my mother after all." The guards quickly swam away before Ainohi approached Tenchi slowly, "Mom, calm down. Whatever happened, you are done here now. Let's go home." Tenchi turned to Ainohi and growled, "Go home, Ainohi. Now!" Ainohi knew her mother was stubborn, but she also knew it was for the better as she swam closer and reached in to attempt grabbing her, but once her hand entered the bubble, she felt like her hand was slowly being crushed and pulled it out with a whimper, "What in the world?"
Kari and Kichiro could only watch what was happening and soon against her rider's order, Ainohi's wyvern dove towards the water's surface and broke it before coming like a rock missile towards Tenchi and with a powerful impact, much to their disbelief, she managed to break the bubble and escape with only a few broken claws before Tenchi was slammed into the bottom of the sea hard and the power was suppressed just as the wyvern quickly swam up and attempted to take air again, only to find it impossible with her wings completely turned to stone and her growls of terror was being heard and Ainohi quickly swam up to grab onto her, "Calm down, girl. We will be okay."
The wyvern kept on growling in fear and soon pulled down Ainohi underwater as she sunk quickly, making Ainohi decide to follow true in the words of the Frostclaws as she began to discharge a massive amount of heat to boil the water and allowing the wyvern to gain buoyancy and with the additional steam managed to get the wyvern into the air while Ainohi was slowly sinking down into the water, her body slowly going numb.
Tenchi had laid with her eyes closed and realized that she needed air, but when she opened them, she witnessed Ainohi's sacrifice and watched as Ainohi was getting ready to sacrifice herself like a true Frostclaw. The action made her tear up from both pride and sadness over the realization that her quest for vengeance had clouded her judgment and she was about to lose one of her daughters because of it.
Her decision was made and Tenchi began to expel heat from her body to allow her to run across the bottom of the sea to quickly get to Ainohi, who soon hit the bottom and began to cough up water and rolled over in pain from how much it ached before passing out, just as Tenchi picked her up and cried to herself as she spoke, "I am sorry, Ainohi." The strength within her reignited as she prepared herself and soon took a massive leap into the sky before Ainohi's wyvern flew in and caught them both before Tenchi looked at Kari and Kichiro before closing her eyes, "Let's go home."
No one questioned it, except for Kari, "Mom, will she be okay?" She looked at Ainohi when she said it, making Tenchi check on her pulse, giving a sigh of relief as she felt that Ainohi's heart was beating still as they were slowly making their way back home. And as they approached their home, Tenchi felt her heart beginning to ache as she could already feel the energies of every leader and Sas'Ha standing there and as she had thought, once they were seeing their home, they could see not only the leaders but also the Frostclaws standing there around Arashi, almost praying for her before the wyverns began to fly lower and soon landed.
Climbing off the wyvern's back with Ainohi, Peridot rushed over and gasped, "Ainohi! What happened to her, Ten-Ten?" Peridot looked at Tenchi, who wasn't even there right now in her mind, only handing over their daughter to Peridot as she approached the praying Frostclaws, just as she felt Kichiro grabbing her by the shoulders and pulling her backward, "You do not wanna know this." Tenchi just looked at the circle before Janch approached with her head low and her face seems to hide the fact she had to once again be their speaker.
Taking her deepest breath, Janch spoke to her, "I am sorry, Tenchi. There was nothing we could do. The injuries were far too severe and the organs died too fast for us to even treat her." Janch turned away and left space open as the wyverns one by one approached Tenchi and bowed deeply in respect before it sunk into Tenchi and she was moving towards the crowd and pushed herself into the circle to see Arashi laying there, unmoving and almost peaceful before Tenchi fell to her knees and brushed along the wyvern's face, her reaction is that of denial, "No, it cannot be true. You have only taught her to play dead really well. She cannot be dead."
Kichiro grabbed Tenchi and pulled on her shoulders, but soon let her go as he felt her bladed tail cutting him as she was shaking Arashi's head softly, "Wake up, girl. Rise and shine." But there was no movement and Tenchi laid her face down close to Arashi's and began to really tear up, "Arashi... no. No. NO!" She felt her powers building up, but Peridot's hooks soon attached themselves to her arms and Tenchi felt her weakened mind being soothed by Peridot's calming presence before Peridot's arms wrapped around her, "I am sorry that you had to lose her, Ten-Ten."
Tenchi turned around hugged Peridot tightly, "It isn't fair! It isn't fair!!! She didn't deserve this!!!" Peridot nodded before a light showered down onto Arashi and lifted her up, but the light soon formed Lòeón who was holding up Arashi like it was nothing, "No need to worry. It is not her time. And she will come back. But there is something we can do to make her even better." Tenchi was about to question him, but found herself mute as Sas'Ha seemed to control the vibration in her maw as Lòeón suddenly turned Arashi from a normal wyvern into what seemed to be a dragon tank, but from the sudden metallic roar, it was sentient and Tenchi felt her heart leap as it began to move around.
The tank was looking almost like your average tank, except where the barrel would be on it, there was a massive cannon looking like a dragon's head and right next to it was what seemed to be some kind of tesla coil, but it was located on top of a massive barrel looking like a Chinese dragon where the mouth was wide enough to allow them to look right into a railgun. Tenchi was completely shocked by this before the second roar from the tank fired off the railgun and the tree behind Tenchi was suddenly turned partially into a jewel and the tank seemed so proud that the turret seemed to spin around really fast, causing Tenchi to giggle at how silly it was behaving.
This made Lòeón chuckle as he turned to face Tenchi just as the tank turned back to normal Arashi who stood healthily and well before Lòeón felt Tenchi hugging him tightly, "Thank you so much!!! I cannot thank you enough for this!"
Lòeón laughed, "Well, you got more surprises ahead of you, so better get your riding on." Tenchi didn't get a chance to speak again before Lòeón disappeared in a ray of light. But Tenchi was soon pinned down by Arashi who growled happily and cuddles up on top of her as everyone laughed and the leaders were one by one sent back home at Peridot's request, but Sas'Ha walked off to leave them alone as she soon heard the voice of Lòeón in her head, "Come here, you naughty girl!" And with that light grabbed Sas'Ha and teleported her away while everyone saw Tenchi and Arashi cuddle closely, happily reunited after the wonderful rebirth through light and tears.
The End.
