Bucktober
A new take on Red Riding hood
Bucktober
Once upon a time there was a petite boy who lived in a small village on the edge of the dark forest. His name was Red and he knew he was different. He was always being made fun of because he was nowhere near as strong or masculine as the other boys, and his interest in girls seemed to be lacking. In fact, it was the other boys that made him feel funny. In the fall, on his eighteenth birthday, Red found a note from his grandfather who lived deep in the woods. It said Red Now that you have become a man I believe it is time I take you into the woods to go deer hunting with me and get your first mount. Please gather these supplies and come to my cabin. Follow the path and I will see you tomorrow. Your loving Grandfather Red was excited because he rarely got to see his grandfather and loved him dearly. His grandfather was similar to him, and if the village gossip was correct, was interested in boys too. Red only got to see his grandfather when he came to the village which was rare. It seemed as everyone in the village was scared of the dark forest for some reason yet his grandfather seemed perfectly happy with it. They all thought that the woods held dangerous predatory creatures that loved human, and so they stuck to their village instead. One thing Red loved about his grandfather was that they always spent time talking and on one occasion his grandfather told him that when he became a man he would take him into the woods and show him that the villagers were wrong. Today was to be that day. Reading the list that his grandfather had given him, he wondered how he was going to hunt a deer with these supplies. He was unfamiliar with hunting and even more unfamiliar with the creatures that lived in the woods, but he trusted his grandfather and dutifully gathered the supplies. First on the list was oil, lots of oil. The list said four skins filled with oil. Red could not think how this would be used in deer hunting, but he trusted his grandfather, and so Red went to the market and got four skins filled with oil. Next was rope but not just any rope, it had to be silk rope. Red wondered why the rope had to be the more expensive silk type and not just the common hemp rope but once again he trusted his grandfather and went to the silk merchant and got silk rope. The third thing on the list was corks. Apparently a dozen corks were needed. This really perplexed Red but being a good grandson Red went to the tavern and got 12 corks. The last three things on the list were all medical so at least he could complete the list with one final stop at the apothecary. His grandfather wanted pain medication, a muscle numbing salve and some boosters for stamina. Red figured that his ageing grandfather would need these just to go hunting in the dark damp woods so at last these items made sense for hunting deer. With all his supplies gathered there was just one more thing on the list. He had to take a bath. The instructions were clear. Have a hot bath in clover and apple scented water until the water became too cold to be in. Then put on clean clothes and go to bed. Wondering if his grandfather had completely lost his mind, Red hauled steaming kettles of water, smelling of apple and clover, over to the bathhouse under the mocking eyes of the villagers and began to soak in the mixture. He found the experience relaxing as he sank into the bath, but still was puzzled at this odd request. The next morning, dressed in his red hooded cape and carrying a basket with all his supplies, the apple and clover scented man made his way into the forest under the ridicule of all the villagers. As soon as he left the village he began to feel peace for the first time in his life. It was fall and Red's favorite season as everything was changing color and getting ready for winter. There was so much to see and hear in the woods that soon Red discovered that he had strayed from the path. He was searching for the path again when a young buck crashed through the woods towards him and stopped. "Well what do we have here?" Asked the gorgeous buck as he sized up Red smelling the clover and apple scents emanating from the young man. "A young human male all alone in our woods. Now were might you be off to?" Red who was completely shocked by the buck began to remember some of the advice his grandfather had told him. Don't be afraid of the creatures in the woods. They can smell fear. Stand your ground and be brave. "I'm off to my grandfather's cabin." the petite Red answered fighting down his fear. "Oh is that so." The buck answered smirking at the vulnerable boy that stood before him. "And why are you going there?" "To go deer hunting." the naive Red blurted out. "My grandfather promised me a mount when I became a man." "Oh I see." the buck said sarcastically getting an idea what exactly was happening "So what is in the basket then?" "Hunting supplies." Red answered not realizing that he was about to give this buck important information. "Oil, Silk rope, corks and medicine for my grandfather so he can go hunting." "Yesss," said the buck satisfactorily. "Those are very important supplies for mounting. I can also smell that you have bathed in clover and apple scented water." The buck continued taking a deep breath of the intoxicating scent. "That is good. We... I mean... The deer will love that as well." "Oh."Said the enlightened Red. "So that is why I had to bathe in clover and apple. To attract the deer to me." "Huh?" the buck inquired dreamily before coming to his senses. "Oh yesss, deer love clover and apples. But, I must run. Something just came up, a growing problem that I must handle. I'm sure we will be spotting one another soon, after all it is hunting season." With that, the buck turned and ran back into the woods showing Red his fluffy white tail on the way by which sparked certain feeling in Red's loins. Red began searching the woods for the path and after a while found it again. While doing so Red began to wonder why the villagers were so scared to be out here. So far nothing bad had happened; in fact he had not even seen anything that looked predatory or dangerous. The one animal he had met had seemed rather nice and had even answered one of the mysteries that had plagued him all morning. He now knew why his grandfather had told him to bathe. Feeling more confident that the villager's story was just a story he continued along the path wondering what deer looked like and what it would be like to hunt one. _______________________________________________________________ Meanwhile the buck had loped all the way to Grandfather's house and had told all the other bucks along the way what was about to happen. The old man was a legend in the wood for taking care of all the buck's need when the does were out of season. Every buck for miles around knew of Grandfather and of his abilities. As the young buck neared the cabin he heard and smelled that Grandfather was entertaining guests. "My, what big venison you have." the old man shouted as an 8 point buck teased the old man from behind with his musky meat. "All the better to spear you with." The dominate 8 pointer grunted as he slid his sausage in. This was met by gasps as the old man was mounted. Grinning, the young buck entered the cabin and confronted Grandfather. "So, I just met your grandson, Grandfather. He smells good." The buck said cockily watching the old man rutting with the 8 pointer "Well...I...am...sure...he...followed...my...instructions..." The old man grunted "He did, and I'm sure every buck in the forest knows that by now. But are you sure he is wanting this?" The young buck asked as he watched to old man get stuffed. "He would have gotten the same in the village eventually. At least out here your kind will respect him for what he is." "That is true. We will not belittle him." "And he will be happy out here with all of you. I know I am." The old man said grinning as he felt the 8 pointer marinate his insides in deer spunk. The young buck considered Grandfather's last statement and thought back to all the times Grandfather had helped him out when a sexy doe had led him around the woods only to have her choose one of the other bucks instead. The old man is quite experienced the young buck thought but then he began to visualize himself mounting the sexy young man he had just met in the woods. This caused his jerky to swell and ask another question. "So are you really going to let him be hunted and mounted?" the young buck asked excitedly. "Only if you all agree to my request and use the supplies he has with him. I know you bucks and how excited you get when mounting so use the oil and corks to protect him." "There are going to be challenges made over him you know." the young buck said eyeing the more muscular 8 pointer as he finished up with the old man. "Even more than in rutting season." "I am sure there will be but that is not my concern. His safety is, so no rough stuff." Just then there was a knock at the door. "Grandfather I am here and am ready for hunting." The petite redhead said as he entered the cabin. "I have brought the supplies for the mount....." He started before realizing that his grandfather was nude and there were two gorgeous looking bucks in the cabin as well. One of the bucks broke the uncomfortable scene by approached the stunned Red and removed the basket from his hands. "Hello again." the young buck said taking a deep breath of the clover and apple scented boy while prancing around him. "Told you I'd spot you again." he continued as he began to remove the red cape and revealed a sizeable bulge in front of Red's trousers. "I 'm beginning to think that you're going to like deer hunting. I hope you like the mounting part as well." he finished with a smirk.
