Tomorrow was the big day. Jason called it the "First day of the rest of their lives". They were going to play at their first of, some who'd hoped many concerts. They just couldn't believe they actually made it this far. This would mean that they would travel around the world together, be bro's for life, and live to be rich and famous. To get out of this stupid town and country and see what the world would have to offer... But what about the life they lead back home...

***

Marc opened his eyes the next morning wrapped, arm in arm, with David. The only muscles that moved within his entire body were his eyelids, which only lay half open. He looked at the open window and watched the particles of dust, and such, floating carelessly in the morning sun's rays. He then focused his attention on his body, which felt like jelly from lying in one position all night. This feeling of strangeness transformed into discomfort as he felt a mix of hunger, thirst, and the strange "jelly" feeling in his muscles.

He finally decided to get up and stretch, then go to the kitchen and fix a snack. He gently took his arm out from under his sleeping companion and rolled him over.

Feeling relief that he didn't disturb him, he began walking toward his room door. He then looked down at his exposed crotch and stopped where he was.

"That could pose as a problem..." He said as realized that he was naked, and began looking around the room for his boxers.

He looked in every place that was in plain sight and then looked upon his bed. They nestled ever so comfortably under David's torso.

Marc put his paw up to his head, brushed back his headfur, and thought of how he was going to fix this situation. He then looked to his left and saw David's pair of boxers sitting on the floor. He thought this through and decided that putting on David's was the best way to go.

He lifted up the claws on his feet so he wouldn't make that click-clack noise on the marble floor. He used only his pads to sneak over and grab the garment and slip them on. He was surprised at how well they fit, and the fact that they were made of silk only helped the wolf enjoy them even more.

He snuck over to the door and opened it quietly, trying not to make a sound. The hinges seemed to be well-oiled so they slid very well, and silent, against each other. He walked out quietly and let his claws touch the floor again. He spotted his target, the refrigerator, and began to walk toward it.

"Nice boxers..." Tom said as he sat at the table in the kitchen. He seemed sad and very tired as he just stirred his porridge.

"What's up?" Marc asked as he sat down across from Tom.

"I made Justin mad..." Tom said, still looking at his bowl. "...So he kicked me out for the night."

"What did you do?" Marc said putting a paw on Tom's shoulder.

Tom put his paw on Marc's and started to sway as a tear welled up in his eye. "I tipped over something on his mp3 player and broke it. Then we got into this giant argument, and I couldn't stop yelling. I was so mad and scared at the same time that it seemed like the only thing to do..."

"Okay," Marc said smiling. "No biggy... Just go back in there, curl up with him, and apologize for everything. Then..."

"Then he'll kick me out of the bed and tell me to get out again!" Tom said, making eye contact with flooded eyes.

"Trust me, Tom." Marc said withdrawing his paw. "He'll apologize too, and then everything will be peachy."

"Okay..." Tom said as he got up.

He walked over to the door and opened it quietly, tiptoed in, and shut the door behind him.

Marc walked over to the fridge and surveyed its contents. He decided he was going to have cereal today. He took out a bowl and prepared his food.

He walked over to the table and eyed Tom's and Justin's door. It had been 5 minutes.

"Guess it worked," Marc laughed to himself and triumphantly took a bite out of his cereal and turned on the small TV mounted on the wall.

***

About 15 minutes later, the presence of life was beginning to make itself more noticeable. Marc could here the stirring in Jason and Jesse's room and moaning coming from Tom's and Justin's.

Marc chuckled a bit at how quickly Justin had forgiven Tom and redirected his attention to the screen again. He was it the middle of watching TV broadcasted Disney movie, which he was surprisingly interested in.

About 5 minutes later he heard Jason and Jesse's door open and someone walk into the living room. Suddenly he saw the figure walk into the kitchen. It wasn't Jason or Jesse, but a female. A sleek and slender cheetah walked over to the fridge and opened it.

She was wearing Jason's shirt which was so long on her you couldn't see what she had on under it in terms of underwear.

"Oh!" The cheetah jumped, throwing the carton of milk she took out of the fridge.

Marc got out of his chair and leapt for the air born carton, catching it in his extended right paw. He landed with a thud on the linoleum floor with the carton saved.

"That..." Marc said as he got up and rubbed his side. "That didn't seem as worth it as I thought it would be."

The cheetah clapped and chuckled. "Good catch!"

"Thanks..." Marc said as he got back to his chair. "...and your name is?"

"I'm Rosy," The cheetah said and giggled. "And which one are you, oh slightly dressed one?"

"Oh," Marc said realizing he was wearing David's boxers and nothing else. "I'm Marc."

"I thought so," Rosy chuckled. "You have that charm Jason was telling me about."

"What's going on?!" Jason said as he emerged from his room. "Is everyone alright?"

"Yes, Jay." The cheetah called him affectionately. "Marc, here, just pulled off something a pro athlete could only dream of doing."

"I just caught a milk carton..." Marc said in a monotone voice, slightly annoyed at the seemingly fake cuteness of the cheetah.

***

About an hour later everyone had come out of their rooms and sat on the wrap-around couch to chat.

Jason and Jesse had gone barhopping last night and each picked up their own female. Jason had the cheetah, Rosy, and Jesse had the Vixen, Misty.

Marc and David blushed at the fact that when Jesse and Jason were leaving they could defiantly hear something goin' on in their room.

Misty found this new intriguing because she was also bisexual. It blew her mind that she was in the presence of 4 other gay furs. She couldn't stop asking questions like "How do people look at you back home?" or "How did you know when you were first gay."

They were glad that Misty felt so comfortable around them, she having something in common with them, but there seemed to be something weird about Rosy.

"Hey!" Jason exclaimed. "33 hours till our big break!"

"Yeah, your right." Marc said looking at the clock.

"Why do we have to be there at 7 tonight..." Tom said in a funny voice. His tongue had swollen, because of his new piercing, from the obvious working an hour ago. "It defiantly doesn't start till tomorrow..."

"How's your tongue?" David said as he snickered and snuggled in Marc's chest-fur.

"Pretty good." Tom said as he stuck his long tongue out to show. It was red, but otherwise healthy.

"Mines killing me..." Justin said as he rubbed his chest.

"You got a piercing too?" Marc said. "Let's see?"

"...Let's not." Rosy broke in. "This whole thing is creeping me out. Jay, hon can we go back into your room..."

"And do what?" Jason said. "Have sex?"

"You read my mind." She smiled and kissed him.

"Nah..." Jason said. "I'm alright for now, but you can."

"...Let's go..." Rosy said in a whisper. "These freaks are creeping me out."

"Umm.. What the hell did you call us!?" Marc said. "How are we the freaks?!"

"Yeah," Jason said as he picked Rosy off of his lap and stood up, looking her straight in the eye. "How exactly are they freaks..."

"Men...shouldn't like men." Rosy said as she folded her arms. "Neither should women like women."

"Excuse me..." Misty clocked in and so did Jesse.

"If you have a problem with them..." Jason said in a protective growl. "Then I have a BIG problem with you."

Rosy just folded her arms and glanced over Jason's shoulder and saw Tom sticking his tongue out and rubbing Justin's un-pierced nipple.

"See look at that!" Rosy pointed at them. "Don't you find that fucked up?"

"Look!" Marc said as he pushed David's legs off of him. "It's people like you who make people like me, him, or her feel like freaks. If we are freaks then we would be in a cage at the circus letting you feed peanuts to us!"

"...Yeah!" David said grabbing onto Marc's hand. "...its people like YOU who ruin our days just because we don't live up to YOUR standards on "Normality"..."

"It's because it's not normal!" Rosy said as she pointed to Tom and Justin, who were still egging her on by kissing and rubbing each other. "I mean look at that! That's just wrong!"

"Then what's right?" Marc said; ready to bring up his argument again. Jason just held up his paw. Everything went silent...

"Look..." Jason said in his quiet, angry voice. A look of fire burned in his pupils. "If you can't stand this..." He pointed to David and Marc holding hands and Justin and Tom kissing. "Then I can't stand you. So what I want you to do is go into that room, take all your shit, and get the fuck out of here."

"Fine!" Rosy said as a tear welled up in her eye. "Come on Misty; let's get out of the fag infested place."

Misty already had a tear running down her cheek. She sat there and stared at Rosy for about 2 minutes as anger from every other fur bounced off the wall, turning the room red.

She finally got off of Jesse lap and stood up. She took three steps and stood right in front of her supposedly "Best friend". She then lifted her paw and slapped Rosy right on the cheek, leaving her forever and sitting back down on Jesse. She hugged him closely.

"How can you talk to your friend like that?" Jesse said as he embraced Misty. "...We accept ours with all our hearts. Why is it so hard for you to comprehend that each fur is different?"

"...What I don't understand is why you're still STANDING THERE!" Jason started to scream. "GET THE FUCK OUT!"

"You're just a fag like them..." Rosy said right in Jason's face and walked to the door to pack her stuff. She opened it, only to have it slammed again. She looked to her right and saw warm eyes in Jason.

"I'd rather BE a fag then hate them..." Jason smiled. "...Now leave..."

***

It had been 20 minutes since the front door slammed. Everyone had someone on their lap, but Jason sat alone with his face in his paws.

"Lemme up, hon." Marc said to David as their embrace fell.

He stood up, walked over, and hugged Jason.

"I'm sorry you guys had to go through that..."

"Shhhh..." Marc said to calm him down. "We totally understand that people are out there that hate people like us."

"...But there shouldn't be..." Jason started to weep.

There was a rustle of leather and everyone got up to hug/ fall on Jason.

"Ok guys!" Jason said as a smile peered along his muzzle. "You guys are the best friend I could ever ask for..."

"We know," Tom said. "Now that the bitch is out, what do you say all of us go out for a bite to eat?"

"I'd better be going then..." Misty said with sadness.

"I don't think so!" Marc said. "Now that you're here, you stay."

"Yeah," David said. "Now that you've spent the night your with us forever."

"Yeah!" Tom said as he saluted. "Fall in soldier!"

Justin just grabbed him by the middle and brought him over to the door.

"What do you say?" Jesse said holding out his paw. "You in?"

"I wouldn't have it any other way..." Misty said as she smiled.

***

At seven, sharp, a truck pulled up to the humongous dome. Its mass was that of a planet. Well, it might as well have been. It was big enough to make everyone's jaw drop.

The 7 furs walked out of the bus, which was provided for them by the hotel, and felt like simple ants. They stared up at the giant like it was going to roll over them.

"Yeah," Misty said, as she was unfazed by it. "...That's the Dome. It's what our city is known for, really."

"It's..." Marc said. "It's..."

"Gargantuan?!" Tom spurted out. "...I love that word..." He then gave a little quiver and searched for Justin's paw.

"We're playing here...?" Jason said combing back his headfur with his paws.

"How did we get..." Jesse stuttered.

"Well..." Misty said. "Seeing as we dumped so much money into this thing, we really don't have anywhere else for you to play..."

"I'm kool with that..." Marc said as he walked closer to it.

"Come on, kids!" A bear shouted. This is your shit, so are you gonna help with it or not?"

"Oh!" Tom said. "Comin'!"

Everyone went to the truck, even Misty, and helped bring their equipment inside the large dome. Something was odd about this place, though. There seemed to be no security. Marc started to feel uneasy about the confines of the building.

"Excuse me, sir?" Marc said as he put his paw on the bears shoulder.

"What do ya want?" The bear said.

"Is there any security in this place?" Marc asked.

"Nah," The bear said. "The bear doubles as a museum, you see? It is monitored 24 hours a day and if someone does something wrong, we nail 'em."

"Oh..." Marc said. "That's kool.... I guess."

He put all the bad thoughts to the back of his brain and picked up his guitar case. He followed Tom, who had his bass, and went to the entrance.

The dome was actually very impressive. The outside ring was a maze of hallways that

led to different rooms. Then if you went through the few dozen magical doors, you would find yourself within the largest auditorium on the planet. After about 200 rows of screwed in, angled seats, there was a circular stage. The seats rapped around this circle so everyone would have a good view.

The seats stopped about 20 feet around the stage, which allowed for an excellent mosh-pit.

"This is amazing..." David said. His voice echoed throughout the whole place.

"Where's Marc...?" Tom said looking around. "Have you guys seen him?"

Jason looked at Jesse and Misty and they just shook their head. David looked and Tom and Justin.

"He's probably somewhere," David laughed. "Let's check the equipment room."

***

"Whoa..." Marc said as he made his way down the labyrinth of hallways. "...This place..."

"...Is fantastic?" Called a voice behind a door to Marc's right.

"Oh..." Marc said. "Sorry I was just admiring..."

"Oh me, too," Said the voice.

Marc cocked his head and peered inside the dark room. There was a silhouette behind

a dimly lit computer screen.

"...You mean," Marc said as he stood where he was. "...You're not from here?"

"Oh no!" the voice laughed. "...I'm... looking for someone..."

Marc saw a smile from by the dimly let screen. It sent a cold shiver down his spine.

"Oh..." Marc said. He defiantly sensed something very wrong in this equation. "...Well I hope you find this... someone."

"Oh I think I will..." the voice said as he brought up his paws to lay his chin upon. All the dim light could show was a giant grin across his muzzle.

Marc picked up his pace and went down the hallway in front of him. He couldn't get over how creepy that was. A fur just sitting there in darkness, smiling at him.

Suddenly Marc heard a popping sound and something wiz past his left ear. He whipped around and saw the fur standing there in the middle of the hallways with smoke flying out a gun pointed right in his direction. His white lab-coat brought back painful memories that made Marc's body ache.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion, from the firing of the hand-gun to the whizzing of the bright red bullets that pasted him, to the fur's lab-coat that flew and fluttered as he tried to take a clear shot.

All Marc could think of doing was run at him. He felt sluggish as he picked up speed and ran straight toward the shooter. He focused on the puff of smoke that left the gun, and felt a sharp pain enter his shoulder. He looked and saw a bright red dart jabbed right into his flesh and fur.

Suddenly he felt a pain within his skull and doubled over. He sat there howling for David... or someone to come to his aid.

All Marc could do was howl as a darkness glazed over his vision. The last image he saw was a skunk standing over him, grinning in triumph at his capture of the wolf.

"Oh look!!" Marc heard the skunk scream out. "I found him!! He seems to having something in his shoulder, though. Come now! Let's take it out and head somewhere that's a little less..."

That's all Marc got before he blacked out...

...

Goddamn i made it to double digets lol! Go me. Anyways, yeah that part 10. Looks like Marc's in a bit of a pickle. He seems to have been kidnapped and needs to be there tomorrow so he can become famous and play his concert. And how are David and the others gonna find their bestest friend? So many questions! Well... I guess your gonna have to just wait till the next one lol!
