"Get up man..." a voice said, "Hey, I told you to get up!!" it yelled now and Kale felt something throwing him.
He picked himself up from the dirt where he was thrown and saw an angry figure looming over him, "What!?" he asked slightly irritated.
"I don't want any trash hanging around my store! Now scram!" the person yelled and flung his arms in the air.
"Trash?" Kale asked. "Wait! Where am I!?!"
"Scram!" the manager yelled again. The manager was a large pug who looked angry and had some spit coming out his mouth. He had a beer gut and Kale guessed that he was probably drunk already.
Kale ran from the store with the pug chasing him, if that's what the pug's movements could be called. He looked behind him after a minute and saw that he wasn't being followed anymore. Kale sat down on the ground and looked around, "Man...I was sleeping..."
He had fallen asleep on a bench outside some sort of convenience store. It's not like it was his fault though. If someone hadn't stolen his money, car, and everything he wouldn't have had to be in this crappy town, not that home would be much better. Kale thought about the past two weeks and all that had happened. He had gone to see a friend in another town for the last week of summer, and on his way home he got mugged, and ditched somewhere, not to mention when he woke up that crazy pug was yelling at him. What was weird is that the mugger kept him in the trunk of his own car for a few days, feeding him scraps. And what happened in his escape, well, Kale kept that hidden; denying it even happened. Well, that's the simple version at least.
Kale went over and saw a puddle in an alley. He looked in it and could see his reflection barely. He did look like trash; his fur was matted and he could feel the bruises from before, not to mention his shirt and pants had holes and tears in them. Kale was a husky, with white and grey fur. He had dyed his hair in some areas along his right arm, like a tattoo-a tribal saying from his youth. The dye was red and it was easily visible. He had gotten it to honor his heritage, his grandfather believed carrying it on was important, and he respected that.
Kale's eyes were hazel. The pattern of his fur was odd. The grey fur covered him around his back and around his legs and arms, and it met with white fur along his arms face and chest. Along one eye, his right eye, the fur was grey but on the left eye it was white, but a patch was missing at his brow along the left side. It almost seemed like a helmet. Normally he looked well, but because of the events his fur was frayed and he really did look like trash. His wrist had lost a lot of fur along with his ankles and parts of his legs and arms.
Kale felt at his chest and gasped as he touched a bruise, probably a broken rib.
"This couldn't suck more...I don't know where I am, or how I got here, and that bastard!!" he yelled into nowhere. He bent down and cupped the water in the alley and was about to drink it when he felt a shadow behind him and he jumped forward and spun around, his fist up, "Get back you freaking drunk manager!"
"Drunk manager?" a high pitched voice asked. "Who do you think you're talking to?" The person stepped forward, it was a girl wolf. She was pitch black with blue eyes.
"Oh...I'm sorry..." Kale said, now embarrassed then remembered his situation, "Wait! Where is this? Who are you? What day is it?" he practically yelled.
"Are you OK?" the wolf asked, but was also backing away.
"Yeah...well you know I got all my money stolen along with my car and then that bastard ditched me in this place...but hey..." Kale said sarcastically then looked back at the wolf, seeing she was scared, "I'm sorry...I really am, I'm just..." he tried to apologize but the words were small.
She continued to back away but felt sorry for him, "Wait...you got mugged?" she asked.
"Yeah...I've got no idea where this is or anything...I was visiting my friend before school started back..." Kale said.
"Well, you're in Newsburg...a small town. It's August the seventh, and I'm Taylor; circumstances aside, it's a pleasure to meet you..." she said.
Kale smiled for the first time, "Dang...I've missed a week of school..." he said then looked back at Taylor, "...Yeah...umm, thanks for the info, and I really am sorry for all that...you know...just a bit out of it," he said, hoping to explain it.
"I guess I understand..." Taylor replied, "Well, we should probably go to the police, so you can get in touch with your family..."
Kale grimaced, "Umm wait...what are you doing here anyway?" he asked, trying to change the subject.
"Well, you ran by my diner and into this alley...I was curious..." Taylor said with a smile then an expression covered her face, "You must be hungry!"
"I couldn't take your foo-" Kale began but she cut him off.
"Who said I was going to give you food! You're going to help me out today, of course I'll feed you first, but it'll cost you your time," she said, obviously making it up to make Kale accept it.
Kale smiled, "Yeah...I guess I can do that..." He liked this wolf. She was nice and Kale saw a familiar person in her.
Taylor walked him back into the store and brought him out a plate of food, "There you go, now eat up so you can help me 'round here," she said.
Kale noticed her accent and used it to place himself. He hadn't told the girl that Newsburg didn't register to him. He guessed he was somewhere far away, he lived up in the mountains and there was no accent like that there.
The wolf watched him for a moment. She sat down across from him and looked him over.
Kale grew slightly irritated and looked up from his food; "Something wrong?
"Your story," she said then explained, "and you look pretty terrible, no offense, but on a different part...You skipped an entire week and didn't say what happened..."
Kale looked down at his plate, "Nothing..."
"You should tell me..." she said.
"No...really nothing...I got crammed into the trunk of my car and my kidnapper fed me scraps of food and would drink some water then spit it in my face so I could drink it... and that's how I survived..." Kale said plainly.
"Do you know who he was?" she asked.
"Why do you assume there was only one?" Kale asked and showed his teeth lightly.
"Well, you said 'kidnapper'...singular..." Taylor said. She didn't judge the husky. She felt sorry for him and felt it was only natural for him to redirect everything she did.
"Yeah...I guess I did...but no there were two...one who fed me and then there was that person..." Kale said, filling rage cover him. The reason his fur was missing in places was, besides the bonds, because that other person had tied him to a rope and then attached it to the car. And then they thought it would be fun to take him for a ride, dragging him across the asphalt.
Taylor didn't say anything after that. She watched the husky. She didn't understand him, it's not like he wasn't scared or angry. She thought he was down-playing it as if he had just been beat-up, not kidnapped and tortured. Calm wasn't the word that would describe him; no, he seemed focused. She knew that he must be hiding the real feelings, but knew not to probe. She watched him eat and was surprised that even his actions showed reserve. He said he only got scraps of food but he didn't eat the meal in front of him hastily; he took his time and sipped at the water, and then didn't ask for a refill.
She waited for him to ask though, he looked horrible. His fur was matted and missing in places. She noticed that when he was eating that his hands were shaking and that his eyes were bloodshot. If she had to guess, she would say that he dehydrated because oh his movements and that he was desperate enough to drink water that was puddled in an alley.
Taylor looked him over, his clothes were in bad shape, and blood was over them and on his fur, caked into him. His shirt had tears along the sleeves and the front of it was frayed with parts of it torn and shredded. His pants seemed better. He wore a pair of blue jeans. She noticed that the pockets, both sides and back, were missing, like they had been torn away.
Kale finished his meal and closed his eyes for a moment then opened them again and looked at Taylor. "OK, what needs to be done?"
Taylor smiled at the husky, "Well, you can clean that plate off first, and then you can wipe down every table here and the chairs. After that I want you to sweep the floor and then you'll clean the dishes, after that we'll eat lunch..."
Kale looked around the place, "I don't think that'll take too much time..."
Taylor just grinned and walked off, "Then you'd better get started...I've got to go into town to buy some stuff..."
"How do you know I won't just rob you blind?" Kale asked as she opened the door.
She stopped and turned around, "You're not that stupid...are you?" she asked with a wicked smile.
Kale felt blood run from his face, "No ma'am..." he said and watched as the wolf walked away. That was weird, that tone she used and smile. It was playful but in a way that made you uneasy. Kale walked into the kitchen and found the things he would need to clean. He began at his job, working slowly.
It was hard; the work. It looked like it was going to be easy, but Kale slowly realized just how much space this place had and then he had to make sure to sweep under the tables. After two hours he finished and looked around the place. It looked nice now, and he let out a yawn. He walked over to a booth and lay down. He stayed there for a moment and then felt the memories come back, and he began to shudder. He silently wished that he had more to do; so that he could stay away from his thoughts. Kale went under the table and curled up, not knowing what else. He slowly fell asleep with the sound of his own screams and yells filling his mind.
Taylor came back from her errands in town, bags loaded on her shoulder, "I'm back...hello? Husky?" she asked into the diner. She looked around and noticed that he had done a good job. She suddenly heard a low whimper from the booths and walked over and saw him there. He was curled up and shaking, lying on the floor. Taylor felt sorry for the husky, seeing how he really felt.
Kale woke up to the sound of plates landing on the table ahead of him. He shot up and hit his head on the table. "Ouch!" he yelled and then got up from under it, "Oh, you're back...did I do a good job?"
"Yes, very good...come on let's eat lunch..." Taylor said and gestured for Kale to sit down.
Kale looked around the diner and saw that others were there now-customers. He felt ashamed for sleeping on the floor, in such a lowly position now, but he tried not to show it. He sat down and looked at the food.
"Something wrong?" Taylor asked as she bit into an apple.
"No...its fine..." he said and looked down at his food.
"What's your name?"
"Huh?" Kale asked, confused.
"Your name ...I can't just call you Husky now can I?"
"Oh...I'm Kale..." he said. He bit into the meal, trying to ignore the voices around him, but he couldn't drown out the people. He heard them asking each other who he was, where he was from, why he had been on the floor, and why he looked like he did.
"Nice name...suites you..." Taylor said with a smile, "Oh, and I like that tattoo...What's the language...it looks native...maybe Eukaria?"
Kale looked up shocked, "Yeah...it is...how do you know?"
"I'm a bit of a linguist...I'm guessing my accent threw you off...no I'm not some country hick..." Taylor said with a laugh, "I just own this place and work here because I want to, appearances are cheap..." she said.
Kale was surprised to meet someone like this, but he found himself growing a respect for her. He came out of a trance when she talked again, "What does it mean? I'm a bit dusty..."
Kale had the feeling she was telling the truth and felt a respect build up for her just because of that little bit. "It says, 'arise, once more oh dreamer, arise, and be strong,'..." he replied.
"Cool...so you actually got a tattoo with a meaning? That's rare...too many idiots get one because they believe it 'looks cool.' Morons..." Taylor said with a scoff, then looked at Kale, "Why did you choose that?"
"My grandfather chose it for me...and I carry a heritage...that's all...I don't know what it's supposed to mean..." Kale said with a frown.
"Hmm...neat..." she responded with a small interest.
Kale finished his plate and looked over at Taylor, "OK...how do I work this meal off?" he asked with a small smile.
"You don't...you and I are going to the police and we're reporting what happened right now..." she responded.
Kale froze, "What?...but...then," he said and stammered. He knew going to the police would mean a testimony, which would mean reliving that hell. Kale tried to back away, "Thanks, but no thanks..." he said as he back up and hit something.
Kale fell down as he tripped over a customer. The customer looked at him with an angry face, "What wrong with you!?! Rubbish should stay where it belongs; on the street, not here!" she said and pushed Kale off her.
"I'm sorry," he said and put his arms in the air as a shield. He heard a hit, but didn't feel it. When he looked up he saw that Taylor had slapped the girl.
"Watch it Sarah! You apologize now and if I ever hear you talk like that to someone again I'll string you up by your tail!" Taylor yelled.
Kale looked around and could hear snickers in the diner, at him and at the person called Sarah. He felt his breath becoming short and he stood up, now covered in food. He looked around him and saw all the people, too many. Suddenly he felt like he was fighting for his breathes, and he saw Sarah walking forward towards him and apologizing, but Kale didn't hear it even though he saw her mouth move. "Get back!! Everyone stay away!" he yelled at the people in the diner and fled out the door.
He ran out, heard tires squeal, and felt himself skidding across the asphalt-just like before. When he looked up he saw that a car had hit him and Kale saw blood on the street, obviously his own. He coughed and felt small amounts of blood come from his mouth, from the cough. He saw the people in the car, scared and worried. He stood up and ran again, not caring whether he was hurt or not, only wanting to get away.
He ran into what looked like a park and hid under a bridge. He sat down and grabbed at his leg, which had been hit by the car. Now that the endorphins and adrenaline were gone he felt the pain rushing throughout his body. He curled up again in the grass and began to sob and cough. He sobbed, but didn't feel any tears coming out, probably because he had no water to spare in his system. When he coughed more blood came from his mouth and he guessed that there was now blood in his lungs. He couldn't stop the noise though, and continued to lie there and then heard someone behind him.
"Kale?" the voice said and he realized it was Taylor.
"Get back!" he shouted but didn't move.
"Are you OK?"
"I said get back!" he yelled again this time trying to sound intimidating.
Taylor sighed and walked closer, "Look here pup, you owe me a plate that you broke not to mention a meal, now you shut up and pay back your debt!"
Kale continued to sob, "I'll pay you back, just get away!" his intimidating tone had vanished. Now the words came out through a choked voice. It made him sound like a beggar.
Taylor saw that for the moment he wasn't going to move. She sighed and sat next to the husky. After a few minutes he stopped crying and sat up, "Fine...what do I need to do?" he asked.
Taylor smiled; glad to see she had pegged him correctly. He was the type that would pay back a debt no matter what. "Just come with me..." she said calmly.
"To the police?" Kale asked, and wiped his nose on his shirt.
"Yes...and other places...No one wants to hurt you anymore..." Taylor said, trying to be soothing.
Kale didn't respond, but tried to stand up. When he did he yelped and fell back down and clutched his leg. Any weight he put on it hurt. He felt someone lift his arm and put his around their shoulder. He saw it was Taylor.
"Come on...let's move..." she said and helped Kale stand up.
Kale leaned on her and hopped along with her, his leg dragging behind him. The pace was slow, but someone in the park saw them and ran up to help. A bull, easily three feet taller than Kale, and twice as wide offered to help. Kale had no choice, but to accept and the bull carried him piggy-back style out of the park. Once they were out of the park Kale was put down into a car.
"Where to first?" Taylor asked him.
"The police are going to hurt a lot more than my leg...there first I guess..." he said sarcastically.
Taylor laughed and nodded. They drove to the police station and once there he hobbled inside with her. As soon as he was in he was tended to, given some medical attention and then came the questions. Kale told about what had happened, trying not to say too much though, and for some reason the police didn't ask a lot. They only seemed to care about the data and making sure that he was who he said he was. Kale noted that they did nothing when he suggested he knew the kidnappers. After a few hours he was able to leave. He came out on crutches and Taylor looked over at him, "To a hospital?"
"I don't have any money..." he said plainly.
"I don't think that'll matter when it's someone in your condition...besides I know someone there..." she said with a smile.
They went to a hospital and once inside he sat down and Taylor walked over to the front desk. Kale didn't sit down for three minutes before he went into an office. He sat down and waited with Taylor. After about forty minutes he looked over and smiled, "You seem pretty well connected..."
"I know the right people...and the right people know me..." she said with a smile.
Kale was about to ask another question when the door opened. A big polar bear came in. He didn't look any older than Kale and he wondered how old he was. The first things he noticed were that the bear didn't wear a doctor's coat. He had on a black denim jacket that looked old because the seams were very visibly worn out. He also wore a green bandana, with wave patterns on it, on his head with his ears poking out through holes. He was wearing a dark green shirt, the same color as the bandana, and a pair of blue jeans. Around his neck he let a stethoscope hang and he turned around and had a chart up to his face, "What seems to be the problem?"
Kale didn't respond at first. Slightly angry that the 'doctor' had yet to really even acknowledge his presence, and he seemed like he'd rather be somewhere else. Kale looked up at him with a scowl, but before he could say anything Taylor spoke.
"Yo, Anthony... we're not your regulars!" she yelled at him.
Now the bear flinched and a book fell from behind the chart. Kale was shocked, the chart was just a distraction, and the bear had been reading! He looked at the bear, Anthony he guessed, and then at the book. He was surprised again to see a copy of one of his favorite books. It was by an old philosopher and dealt with how the beginnings of thought should start with philosophy, and how that is truly the beginning of all thought.
"Oh...Taylor...sorry..." he said with a chuckle and picked back up the book and closed it. Suddenly his entire mood changed, it went from arrogant and non-caring to attentive and slightly childish. He then finally looked at Kale. His expression didn't change, but Kale saw that his eyes did. They went from uninterested to observant. The bear's brow furrowed, "What happened?"
Kale looked over at Taylor, who was staring back. He shook his head, not wanting to say anything.
"Kale...you can trust him...despite his pathetically arrogant demeanor and inattentive attitude...he's actually a great guy..." she said with a small smile.
Kale looked back over at the bear. He was still staring at him. Kale stared back and looked into the bear's eyes, they seemed safe-steady. Kale took a breath and sighed then looked back up, "Where do you want me to begin?"
"The beginning is a good place..." he said as if it was obvious, and smirked a little.
"Well, I was kidnapped about a week ago, and they bound my hands and feet and stuffed me in my own trunk...I was only fed scraps of food and the only liquids I got was what they would spit at me," Kale said and growled a little, the memories flooding his mind again. He looked up at the bear, still growling.
"Then after a few days of that," Kale said and looked over at Taylor, even she hadn't heard the next part, "They tied a rope to me and took me on a cross country trip...across the asphalt," Kale stopped and waited, getting his thoughts together, "Once they got done dragging me across the road I was beat with a crowbar and bat until I ended up unconscious and ended up here...I was thrown from a bench by some drunk manager, then Taylor found me..." he said with a sigh.
The bear looked at him still, waiting for him to continue. Kale was surprised that the bear hadn't started to talk yet. Taylor was next to him, her face in shock at the last parts. Kale was still growling but could continue, "Then I tripped over some girl and everyone was laughing at me...I ran out and got hit by a car and skidded across the pavement...never fun...and I hid under a bridge went to the police, and here I am..." he said with a sigh.
The bear finally opened his mouth, "Is that all?"
Kale's mouth dropped and he felt rage escaping him. He stood up to try and hit the bear, but collapsed because of his leg and was on the ground, "You bastard! What do you think!?!"
Anthony frowned, "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to insult you..." he said and leaned down to pick Kale up.
Kale swept away at the paw and got up on his on, but he knew it was a pathetic site. He sat back down in the chair, and stared at the bear with a scowl.
Anthony looked over at Taylor, "Can I talk with you outside?"
Taylor nodded they walked outside. Anthony looked at Taylor and sighed; "I'm not worried about the physical...but his mind..." he said and let the words drift.
Taylor looked at the bear and sighed, "I know...he's been through a lot..."
"I'll try my best...but are you putting him up in a hotel? Your place can't hold him..."
"Well," Taylor said with a small smile, "I was kind of hoping...you'd let him stay with you..." she said.
"What?!?" Anthony almost yelled, "Taylor...I couldn't, I mean, ...What?!?"
"Oh come-on please!" Taylor said with a plead. "You and he get along fine..."
"Are you kidding me? He took a swing at me! That guy's mental state is horrible...I don't know how you got him to trust you with how he is right now?!" he replied.
"Ya'll are alike though..." she said, "Trust me..."
Anthony sighed, "Fine...but if he won't agree then there isn't anything I can do..." he said.
Taylor hugged the bear around the neck, "Thank you Anthony!"
"Ok...now for the other part," he said and frowned, "That guy...is hiding a lot..." Anthony said with a sigh.
Kale was inside with his head in his hands. He was trying not to, but found it was hard to start from crying. Luckily he couldn't produce any tears anyway. He was sniffling when they came back in. He looked up quickly at the two as they walked back in.
Anthony looked back at Taylor, "Actually on second thought...you wait outside for a moment..." he said.
Kale looked at Taylor, his eyes pleading her not to leave. He looked at the bear, "Please? Can't she stay Dr. ...Anthony wasn't it?"
Taylor frowned at the husky, "Don't worry...I'll be right outside..." she said and closed the door.
Once the door was closed Anthony looked at the husky with a strict look, "I need you to tell me everything...and call me Tony for furthermore..."
Kale tried to hide his surprise and was glad his anger was a good substitute, "Why do you think I hid something!?" he growled.
"I'm not saying you hid anything...you just didn't tell me a lot..." the bear replied then took step forward, "Like what happened after you got dragged..."
Kale was about to say something when the bear spoke again, "I know there's more because you can't even control your eyes and face right now, your own body betrays you..."
Kale sighed, "They...they..." he stammered not wanting the words to come out.
"Ok...let's start with something lighter...How did you go to the bathroom?" Anthony asked.
Kale looked up and growled, "Why would that matter?"
"Because I'm guessing that they didn't just let you go into a rest stop, or in the woods...and you smell horrible..."
Kale now felt ashamed. He hadn't noticed the smell, and was hoping that it had been washed away, "I...did everything in the trunk..."
"Then could you please take off your clothes..."
"They're clean...from in the river!" Kale practically yelled then gasped, realizing he had said something he didn't want to. He saw that Anthony noticed this and the bear waited for him to continue. Kale let out a whimper then looked up, "This...is what happened afterwards..."
"I was being dragged, but somehow I escaped...I don't know how. After I stopped sliding I got up and ran for it, but they saw me and chased me. I ran and came to a river...I jumped in, but they caught me. In the river they beat me again, then again, then once they asked if I had enough they beat me again. After that they stuck my head underwater till I passed out...then I woke up back in the trunk...next thing I know I'm here" Kale looked up at the bear, "There...that's what I didn't say before..."
"I still need you to take off your clothes..." Anthony said plainly.
"What?!? But-" Kale began but was stopped.
"Don't give me that, 'they're clean' crap!" the bear growled this time, "But I'm sure they are...you know because just rinsing in the water takes away all the bacteria, and that you stayed in your own mess for a few days!"
Kale didn't know what to say now. He sat there stunned, and slightly scared by the bear's actions.
Anthony sighed and tried to be nice, "Look...I'll leave the room and give you a garment to wear...I'll have the clothes properly washed and then you can have them back...good?"
"I don't want to wait for that though..." Kale said, still pathetically.
"You're going to be busy with other things first..." Anthony said and left the room.
Kale waited for a moment then took off his shirt. He felt saw that his fur was matted and that he looked pathetic. After he took off his pants and underwear he put on the garment and walked outside. "Fine..."
"Good...now you'll need to take a shower..."
Kale didn't change his expression, he had expected it. Anthony and Taylor helped him down the hospital till they got to a room with a shower. Taylor looked in and looked back at Anthony, "He can't hold himself up..."
Anthony sighed, "I'll be there with him..."
Kale shuddered now, "No...I'll be fine...I don't need an-" he tried to say but was once again cut off.
"Oh shut-up...don't worry about it..." the bear said. He looked over at Taylor and gestured for her to leave the room. Once she left Anthony began to take off his clothes, being quick. He started by taking off his jacket and shirt.
Kale watched the bear. He had a small stomach, and while he was still in his pants he looked like a wrestler of sorts. He watched as the bear took off his pants, leaving him in a pair of black briefs that contrasted with his snow fur. He looked up at Kale, who looked away, "You OK if I stay in my briefs..." he asked.
Anthony definitely wanted Kale to be comfortable. It was weird enough to have to shower with the husky, but he didn't mind Kale now; his first impression was off too. Anthony usually kept his distance from people, but he was trying to reach out to Kale. Someone like him would need more than just Taylor with him.
Kale didn't respond. The bear nodded taking that as an OK and walked over to the husky. He took the garment from him, and Kale flinched. He was embarrassed, but tried not to show it. He kept his face down as the bear helped him into the shower. He looked over at the bear once, and noticed that the bear didn't act any differently. Anthony kept to his work, never giving any sign of emotion.
Kale silently told himself in his mind that he was just being immature, and that he needed to grow up.
"OK...hold onto me please..." Anthony said and started the water. He grabbed the soap and began to wash the husky's chest making sure to lather it up and get all the grime out. He did the same with the back and arms. He made sure to be gentle with the husky, never pressing too hard on him, so not to press on his bruises.
Kale tried to think about anything other than what was happening right now in the shower. It felt nice though and he was thankful, but he tried to ignore it. After his upper body was done he felt the bear's paw move down to his butt. Kale couldn't help but let a gasp escape him. When he felt the bear's paw in between his cheeks he tried to complain but as he opened his mouth the bear stopped him.
"I don't enjoy this anymore than you do, but it's my job to ensure your health, so please..." he said and continued his work. After he finished the with husky's butt he washed his own hands then moved to the front of Kale. He gently washed the husky's sheath and balls, trying not to make it awkward for the husky, but knew that was inevitable. Anthony felt his sheath stir in his own underwear and was glad that he had kept it on. He saw the tip of the husky's cock come out, and didn't address it though, knowing that it was expected. Anthony tried to keep his mind busy, not wanting to let it drift, especially here. He was glad he kept his briefs on, because he could feel that his own cock was now hard. He quickly washed the rest of the husky then rinsed him, and turned the water off.
He helped him out and dried him off, then threw him his garment. Anthony sighed and went back to put back on his clothes. He was glad that was over.
Kale watched as the bear put his clothes on and felt his cock move in his sheath and looked away, knowing it would be impossible to hide a hard on in this garment, but still watched from the corner of his eye. The bear's body was strong yet soft looking. Kale guessed that the bear had some natural muscle, but besides that didn't work out, and the rest of his mass was just fat. Once the bear finished dressing he looked over. Anthony looked away though, and Kale thought he saw the bear's ears move.
Anthony saw the husky staring at him and felt himself blush and his ears twitch, and then turned around so that the husky wouldn't see it. When he turned back around Kale was looking the other way. Anthony adjusted his bandana as he walked to the husky, "OK...now what I'll need is to get you some x-rays, an MRI, a normal physical, and then an IV to re-hydrate you...good?"
Kale looked at the bear, "Aren't you the doctor? Why ask me?"
Anthony smiled at the husky for the first time, "True...do you have any allergies I should know about?"
"I'm good...excuse me...could I..." Kale said but stopped.
Anthony smiled at the husky, "You can ask if you want..." he replied. He was trying to be nice.
"Could I just call you Mr. Anthony..." Kale asked.
Kale saw the bear's smile and felt a smile on his own face, but he quickly hid it and tried to stand up. He was about to fall, his leg failing him again, when he felt the bear catch him. He looked up at Anthony, "Thanks..."
"It's my job..." he said with a grunt and helped the husky outside. Once they were back outside Taylor stood up from where she had been sitting.
Kale looked up, and smiled, glad she was still here. She smiled back and helped support him.
"I'm taking him for an MRI..." Anthony said and gestured down a hallway.
"Don't you need to sign some forms first?" Taylor asked, surprised that he was doing more than just cleaning him and putting him up.
"I'll take care of that later...not like they can argue against me anyway," he replied with a small chuckle.
Once they were in the MRI room Kale felt them sit him down gently. They began to walk away, "Wait...can't someone stay?" he asked.
"Nope...against the rules..." Anthony said calmly.
"Could I...umm..." Kale said and stopped.
"Go on..." the bear said and encouraged the husky to continue. He was glad that Kale was warming up to him-it'd make things easier.
"See the book you were reading Mr. Anthony?" he asked, sorry to ask for something that he didn't own and from someone he didn't know.
Anthony pulled the book from his pocket and looked at the husky confused, "This ...it's not exactly a fiction book..." he said. He was glad to see that the husky had called him by his other name too.
"I know...I saw the title...I've read it before...I like it..." Kale responded, but tried not to say anything else.
Anthony was surprised, but held out the book. "Ok...fine, but don't move...just stay on a page you like..." he said and walked into the other room.
"Mr. Anthony?" Taylor asked.
"Yeah...I don't get it... I think he thinks I'm old..." he replied with a laugh.
"Well, you act older than you are......" she responded.
The bear picked up a mike and spoke, "Ok...Kale...I'm going to begin...just stay still and wait...we can hear you if you need anything..."
Kale held the book, but once the process started he couldn't keep his attention to it. He listened to the humming of the machine and watched the lights. During the process he remained calm and after about ten minutes it all stopped. He felt the table get pulled away and he saw Anthony and Taylor with him.
Kale handed him back the book, "Thanks..."
Anthony took it and put it back in his pocket and looked back at Kale; "Nothing lethal on the MRI...Now to get some X-rays..." he said.
They walked into the next room and took the X-rays. Anthony put them up on a screen to look at and even Kale could tell that his leg was broken. Anthony looked back at him with a frown, "That's a nasty break...it'll take you a few months to heal and then therapy..." he said then held up the one of the husky's chest, "Kale? Do you feel any difficulty breathing?"
Kale looked up, "Not much...why?"
Anthony looked back at the X-ray then walked over to the husky. He asked Taylor to look away and for Kale to lie down. Once he did he lifted up the garment and pressed lightly on Kale's left side. Kale let out a yelp. Anthony apologized and then looked at the X-ray again. "I think one of your ribs is rubbing against your lung...have you had any troubles?"
Kale looked up at the bear, "I coughed up a bit of blood..."
"Hmm...Ok...let's just take it easy and let it heal...we can take another X-ray later..." he said and put the garment back down. His paw lightly brushed over the husky's sheath and he blushed, and noticed Kale did too. Anthony dismissed it and helped him sit up, "OK...we'll get you in a cast..."
Kale looked at the bear, "You guys seem to be forgetting the whole...I have no money thing!" he said, realizing that he was costing them time and money by all this.
"As a doctor it's my duty to make sure you are healthy and you don't need to worry about the expenses...consider this my treat...like a dinner..." he said and laughed a little.
Kale blushed lightly, but recovered. Taylor turned around and helped him up and they walked into another room.
"What color would you like your cast?" Anthony asked.
"I don' t care..."
"Hmm...black it is then..." he said. He then made out the cast and once it was on the husky's leg he gave him a pair of crutches. He adjusted them for him and then showed him how to use them.
Kale adjusted to the crutches quickly. The cast was going to be annoying he knew, but he was glad the pain had gone away. They then walked back to the office and Anthony looked over at Taylor, "Don't you have a restaurant to run?"
Taylor looked over at Kale, "I can stay..."
Kale smiled at the wolf, "No...I can't cost you this too..."
"I'll bring him by after we're done here..." Anthony said.
Taylor smiled at Kale and thanked Anthony then left. Once she was gone Anthony looked over at Kale, "Ok...I'm just going to give you the IV right now, and then I'll perform the check-up..."
Kale was slightly glad he was dehydrated, because he wouldn't sweat. He looked away as the needle was pressed down and went into his arm. He let out a small whimper and heard the bear, "OK...all done..."
Kale looked over and smiled, "Oh...that's all..."
"Yeah, nothing to worry about..." Anthony said then grabbed his stethoscope, "Now...," he said and put it on the husky's back, "Deep breath,"
Kale did as he was told and repeated the process whenever he was asked to, and after a moment Anthony stopped. Then he did the rest of the physical, asking him small questions along the way, like to push against his hand and follow his finger. After he was done he was writing in the clipboard. Kale put on his clothes that were now clean.
"There's some fluid in your lungs, your reflexes are slow, and your eyes are bloodshot...but I guess you haven't slept well...right?" Anthony asked.
Kale nodded.
Anthony walked over to a chair and sat down. "Ok...now we just wait for your IV to finish and we can go to Taylor's...you're lucky someone like her found you..."
Kale nodded again.
"We can get a bite to eat at her restaurant," Anthony said, now watching the husky.
Kale nodded again.
"Then a plane will crash through the hospital and leave thousands dead..." he said and waited.
Kale nodded again then shook his head and looked back, "Wait, What?!"
"You weren't listening...Something up?" Anthony asked.
Kale had been thinking of the kidnapping and grew slightly agitated, "Don't talk like were all chummy!" he growled at the bear.
Anthony grimaced at the husky.
Kale's face changed and he felt ashamed again, "I'm sorry...I've just..."
"I know..." Anthony said and a few moments passed, "Oh...so you say you've read this book?" he asked and pulled out the book.
"Yeah...Thao is one of my favorite philosophers..." Kale said with a smile.
"Really?" Anthony asked, surprised, "Well, I've only just now began to read his works..."
"Mr. Anthony?" Kale asked.
"Please...either call me Tony or Anthony...but not that Mr. Anthony...I mean I'm not that old..."
"Well...that's what I wanted to ask...how old are you?"
"I'm a senior in highschool..." he said with a smile.
"No, your not...You know a lot of medical stuff" Kale replied, not believing him.
"I am...My parents...if that's what you want to call them..." Anthony said the last part under his breath and saw Kale give a confused look, "As I was saying...my parents own this hospital...and naturally me knowing a lot about medicine is a must for them... I practically grew up here...in fact they gave me this room because I came from school to here everyday and still do..."
"But what about today?" Kale asked.
"Well, the staff texted me and said that Taylor was here and demanded that I come, so I ditched school, more or less..." Anthony said with a laugh.
"What about the legality of all this...I mean you aren't old enough to work any of the machines legally or to even practice..." Kale said, still not believing him.
"Yeah...it is illegal, but everything goes off the books that I do and the town people look the other way because they like me, more or less. Even if I got caught I doubt something would happen because of my parents... I only handle some small stuff...like what happened to you...no surgery or stuff like that..." Anthony said, trying to explain it.
"It's still illegal..."
"Yeah...and if I have to pay for that one day then I will, but medicine isn't about being legal or any political crap. It's about making sure that the patients are healthy, no matter what you hear from anyone else you must always remember that just like in any other profession, "the customer is first..."
"I think you mean the customer is always right..."
"Well, not in this case...Some patients come in claiming they have some rare disease or one that isn't even local to our region..." Anthony said with a sigh.
"I still don't believe you..."
"I'm telling you the truth...look," Anthony said and pulled out a driver's license.
Kale took it and saw that the bear wasn't lying; in fact he was only a few months older than Kale. "Wow...so cool...you must be the top of your class..."
"I am; what about you...you reading books like this means you must want to be smarter too?" Anthony said, trying to get Kale talking about himself.
"That's not saying much where I'm from...I'm supposed to be at school right now...but well..." he said and the memories came back.
"Where do you go?" Anthony asked quickly to keep Kale going.
"Oh...umm well, you know where Jouleson is?"
Anthony's eyes widened for a moment, "Wow..."
"What?" Kale asked.
"You're on the other side of the country...."
"What?!??!" Kale yelled. "Those bastards..." he growled, but stopped himself and smiled, "Well, I should enjoy a new culture I guess...Tell me, is it cool being the son of parent's who own a hospital?"
This time Anthony growled a little. He stopped himself also though and saw that Kale was slightly taken back. "Sorry...I'm not sure 'cool' is the right word. I've probably seen my parents a hundred times in my life...They did give me this little office though...so that's cool, but even though they're smarter than me I can't stand how they think as doctors...that they call themselves doctors is disgusting!" Anthony practically yelled.
"Why?" Kale asked.
"They're the type that would turn away a gun shot victim because the person doesn't have money...money is their god..." he said with a scowl then looked up at Kale again, "Sorry...about that...but I guess it's not all that bad, I mean I have so many resources here and what not...and luckily they travel a lot so I don't have to see them a lot...not that I don't love them, but we argue every time we see each other...me; the son who doesn't want to be in the family business and all that stuff...sorry, I'm rambling aren't I?" he said and laughed lightly.
Kale smiled at the bear, "Nah, I don't mind...sounds like you have it lucky... but I can't say much...oh well, but hey, you said you don't want to be in the family business...what do you want to do?"
"It's not something I want...I'm going to be a bio-engineer!" he said, acting like he was yelling it at his parents.
Kale was surprised to see such a different side of the bear. Before he had been reserved and acted superior, but now he was acting friendly. Kale smiled and thought that the bear was cool; someone like him always interested Kale.
The bear looked over at Kale, "How about you..."
"I want to be a chemical-engineer..." Kale said and frowned, "But I don't see that happening..."
Anthony frowned, "Why not you're a smart guy, right?"
"Yeah, but..." Kale began and sighed, "Sorry...it's nothing..."
Anthony frowned again, he wasn't surprised though. For the husky to even be as he was at the moment was good. For him to have the mental state that he had after what he had been through was a sign that he was strong, able to overcome some tough obstacles.
Kale looked back at the bear, "I'm sorry for going off on you all these times...It's no excuse..."
Anthony looked up at the husky, "If what you've been through isn't an excuse I don't know what is..."
Kale laughed lightly, "Ehh, it's all a matter of perspective I guess...Umm..." he said and stopped again.
"What...you said, 'Umm' again," Anthony said with a laugh.
"Sorry...this probably sounds pathetic and what not, but...we are we friends or something?" Kale asked.
Anthony laughed, "I don't know what 'or something' would be but hey, you'd make a good friend I think, so...yeah...friends..."
Kale smiled at the bear.
Anthony looked at the IV and smiled, "Well, would you look at that...I wonder how long that's been empty..."
Kale looked over and saw that the bag was empty. "So I'm done?"
"Yep..." Anthony said and got ready to take the IV out. He saw that Kale was nervous and smiled, "Don't worry...ready...one,...two..." he said then pulled the IV out suddenly.
Kale gasped as it came and then was angry at the bear, "What was that!?"
"Just an old doctor's trick...it's bad for you to tense up at three..." he said with a smirk, "Now come-on lets go get a bite..."
Kale followed the bear to his car. It was a nice car; it looked new and was kept in good condition. Kale got in and looked over at Anthony.
"Sorry...it seems really snobby right?" he asked with a chuckle.
"No,...well, I mean yeah...but I'm not judging..."
Anthony smiled at the husky, "OK then...we're off," he said and started the car.
The ride went quickly, and Kale noticed that it was already night time. He and the bear listened to music and joked around. They drove and they soon pulled up to Taylor's restaurant. Anthony ran around the car door and opened it for the husky and did the same at the door. They walked inside and Taylor gestured for them to sit down. After a few minutes Taylor came out with three plates and they sat down to eat.
The meal was good, Kale was now actually tasting food again. It felt great to be in clean clothes, even though they were still practically destroyed. Anthony made Kale drink water like a fish, and made sure to keep an eye on him. After the meal was over they sat around talking. Somehow the conversation went to relationships and Kale looked at the two, "Well, you two...are together right?"
Anthony's face dropped and Taylor busted out laughing.
"No," Taylor said, holding her gut, "I'm not that young..."
"What's wrong with you?!?! You're a horrible judge...you thought I was ancient and then you think she's young?!?" Anthony asked and felt a hand hit him.
"What are you trying to say?" Taylor asked.
"Not that you look old..." Anthony replied trying to make up.
Taylor smiled and looked over at Kale, who was confused. "No...we're not together...how old do you think I am?"
Kale looked at the wolf, "I don't know...twenty-four?"
"You flatter me...no I'm almost forty..." Taylor said and let out a sigh.
"That's not old though..." Kale said.
"See Anthony...that's what you should've said!" Taylor said and the bear smiled at her.
After a bit more conversation Taylor looked around and sighed, "OK...time to close up...Anthony...does Kale know?"
"Know what?" Kale asked confused, and slightly scared. He backed away slightly and suddenly felt alienated again.
"Don't worry..." Taylor said soothingly.
"You're staying with me...no butts...doctor's orders" Anthony replied with a smirk.
Kale looked over at Anthony, "Fake doctor's orders..." he said jokingly.
Anthony laughed and nodded, "Yeah, yeah...are you ready to go?"
Kale looked over at Taylor, "Thank you...I-" he said but the wolf stopped him.
"It was nothing...besides...look at how clean my place is!" she said with a sly grin.
Kale grinned and nodded, "Well, let's go..."
"I'll see you tomorrow," Taylor said as Kale left.
Once they were in the car Kale looked over at Anthony, "What did she mean by that..."
"Well, you'll stay there I guess while I'm at school...and tomorrow we can worry about getting you home..." Anthony said with a smile.
Kale's good mood disappeared immediately, "Oh...yeah..."
Anthony looked over at the husky, "Something up?" he asked, slightly hesitant, remembering what the husky had said. He enjoyed the husky's company, and for him that was something major. Despite being well known in the town Anthony wasn't very social. Finding a friend was hard, either because they didn't connect or because he was judged as some sort of brain-freak. To Anthony, Kale was interesting, but at the same time he was careful around him, knowing that Kale was still hiding things.
Kale looked over at the bear with a melancholy look, "No...it's...fine..."
Anthony felt sorry for the husky and wanted to cheer him up, "It can't be that bad...you want to get home and see your friends, right?
Kale looked out the window, "...I'm not a very social person...no matter how hard I try I can't connect with people. People say they like me and what not, but when it comes to hanging out...I'm just not compatible..." he said with a sigh.
Anthony was surprised to hear what he had just thought. He looked over at the husky, "Well, what about your family?"
"...Same problem and worse...I'm a social pariah in my family..." Kale said and sighed again. He looked over at the bear, "Sorry...what am I doing...making the mood so depressed...don't worry about it!" he said with a faked smile.
Anthony frowned at the husky, "It's not a problem...you can talk to me about it...a lot of what you said sounds like me...and hey...we're friends right?"
Kale's face returned to its previous frown, "Yeah, but wait...I'd figure you're the most popular guy in town. Nice car, good grades, rich family,...young doctor all the girls are after?" he added the last part for humor.
Anthony laughed, "You know...all those things are reasons I'm alienated...except the last of course," he said as they pulled up to a large house.
Kale looked at it and was amazed, "Wow...you sure this isn't another hospital?"
"Yeah...the hospital is more welcoming," Anthony said as he got out of the car and ran around to open the door, "besides me you won't get a welcome here..."
"Don't your par-" Kale asked but the bear finished it for him.
"Nope...I hardly ever see them...you know...maybe twelve times a year...if I'm lucky..." Anthony said.
They walked inside and Kale was surprised to see the place. Anthony laughed and scratched at his head, "Yeah...it's a mess..."
The main room was huge, but books littered the floor. He looked over and saw a TV bigger than himself and a couch. The couch looked worn, but comfortable, and in front of it a coffee table. Kale looked around, "No...it's cool...I'm intruding either way..."
"No you're not...and some of the house isn't this bad...those are mostly the parts that I don't go in though," Anthony said jokingly.
Kale laughed and continued to look around. He watched the bear move around and saw the bear trying to be stealthy as he kicked away some old clothes. Kale moved forward and when one crutch landed on a sock he landed with a thud. He opened his eyes and saw a pair of the bear's briefs in his face.
"Crap, are you OK?" Anthony asked as he ran over to the husky.
"Yeah, yeah..."
"Just don't use the crutches here...if you want to go somewhere I'll help you around...so you don't get lost either..." Anthony replied.
Kale let the bear help him up. They moved to the couch and sat down. Anthony turned on the TV and black screen was on. He looked over at the husky, "Yeah...that doesn't usually happen..."
Anthony began to press buttons on the remote trying to get it to work. After a moment he sighed and threw the remote on the ground. "Well...how about a tour of the house?"
"Sure..."
Anthony helped the husky up and they began to walk, but Kale once again tripped and began to fall. Anthony tried to catch him, but only ended up under the husky. Kale looked at the bear; "Sorry..." he said and tried to roll off. Once he was off, he realized that his leg was under the bear's and he couldn't move it.
"No problem...I really need to clean up every once in awhile..." Anthony said with a sigh.
Kale laughed and looked over at the bear, "It's fine...if it wasn't for this stupid cast I could walk. But I should thank you," Kale said and stared up a the ceiling. He looked over at the bear, "Thanks...for the help, for the cast, for the exam, for everything...for being a friend,"
Anthony leaned over, "Well, I'm not just 'a friend' I'd like to say that I'm your friend," he said with a laugh.
Kale's expression didn't change. Anthony rolled over on top of him, "Sorry...needed to move off your leg..."
"And onto me?" Kale asked with a small laugh, then looked up at the bear. He leaned forward and nuzzled the bear's throat lightly.
Anthony didn't move off the husky. He wanted to stay, but at the same time he didn't. His mind began to race, 'Maybe Kale is like me...no, don't be stupid and ruin a friendship so quickly...'
Kale pulled away from the bear and was surprised that Anthony was still on top of him. He didn't mind though, he liked the bear. He saw that the bear was staring at him, but this time it was an analyzing look, nor an arrogant one, nor was it a careless stare. This time something was different. Kale stared at the bear's eyes, noticing for the first time the color. They were blue. It was nice, the stare.
Anthony stared back at the husky. The battle in his mind still raging. After a moment he felt Kale move, "Kale?"
Kale moved his head up and lightly licked the bear's nose. This time the bear showed surprise. Kale smiled at the bear though. He stared at the bear and wrapped his arms around him, "Thank you..."
When he felt the husky's arms wrap around him he gasped lightly. A small plan popped into his head. Anthony sighed in his mind, thinking of how pathetic it was, but he leaned forward anyway. "You know...I'm pretty sure this breaks a doctor's ethic code..." he said, looking for the husky's reaction.
Kale laughed lightly, "Yeah, but once again, you're not a doctor," he said, watching Anthony smile at him. Kale leaned forward and kissed the bear, pulling on him more and closing his eyes.
Anthony's eyes widened at the kiss, but he didn't react to it. He felt the husky's lips touching his, but he didn't accept it. He felt the husky's tongue brush against his lips, and he stared at Kale. It's not didn't want to return it, but that he was too shocked to. Inside his mind he still didn't know. 'It's just out of appreciation, it won't lead anywhere...' is what his mind told him.
Kale was about to pull away and apologize when he felt the bear open his mouth lightly. At this Kale stopped too, and wondered if the bear was OK. He suddenly felt the bear's body relax and he pressed down on him. Kale pulled the bear a bit closer to him and heard Anthony sigh. Kale lightly pushed his tongue towards the bear's mouth, and this time he went in.
Anthony moved into the kiss, but not too far. At the prodding of Kale he slowly became more enthusiastic. Anthony realized that he wasn't doing anything for the kiss though. He was simply lying there, feeling the husky's lips and tongue, tasting them. He slowly moved his tongue and felt it touch the husky's. He let out a light moan at this and moved further. After a minute he was kissing the husky deeply, pushing his muzzle onto the husky's. After a moment he felt the husky pushing on him. He didn't want it to end though, and continued to kiss the husky. He felt Kale pull lightly on his ears and he stopped.
Kale broke the kiss and smiled up at the bear, "I wasn't sure if you would do anything or not...but...you got into it..." he said with a small laugh.
Anthony smiled at the husky, "I wasn't sure if you were...like me...you are like me aren't you?" he asked.
Kale looked at the bear, "What is 'like you'...?"
Anthony stopped and stared at the husky.
Kale licked the bear's nose lightly again, "No, I'm not like you..."
Anthony couldn't help but frown and he was about to move off the husky, but Kale continued to talk.
"Cause you and I are different...but I'm sure we share...mutual interest..." he said with a smile, emphasizing the last part.
Anthony smiled down at the husky and got off him, "You shouldn't put too much pressure on your chest..." he said and offered a paw to Kale.
Kale took the paw and stood up. He moved over to the sofa, where Anthony sat next to him. He nuzzled at the bear's neck for a moment, enjoying how the fur felt against his body then pulled away. Kale smiled at the bear, but saw the bear still had a frown on his face. "What's up?"
"I'm sorry...but you don't have to do this..." Anthony said and looked away.
"I know...I can't say this is without any appreciation, but I can definitely tell you that I want to do this," Kale replied. He waited for the bear to look back at him.
Anthony smiled at the husky and felt Kale hug him. This time Anthony returned the embrace and lay back onto the couch. He pulled the husky closer to him, smiling. He looked up and smiled at the husky.
Kale licked in between the bear's eyes and then at the bear's nose, then moved to the bear's lips. He licked on the bear's lips for a moment before he felt Anthony pull him closer and open his muzzle again. Kale was glad that Anthony didn't hesitate this time, but instead was more aggressive in the kiss. He felt the bear's large tongue running over his and exploring his mouth.
Anthony kissed the husky deeply, almost hungrily, pulling on Kale more and more. He broke the kiss, almost in sync and they both took breathes. Anthony felt the husky's breath against his face and inhaled whenever the husky would breathe onto him, inhaling the husky's scent. After a moment Kale kissed him again by surprise this time, and Anthony felt his breath escape him, but he didn't care. He pulled on the husky and began to roam the husky's body.
They kissed for what felt like hours, but when Anthony pulled away he saw that an hour had yet to pass. He looked back at Kale and smiled, "Come-on this couch isn't good for your leg..." he said.
Kale smiled and let the bear help him up. With his free paw he gently rubbed the bear, and nuzzled the bear's neck as they walked. They stopped and Kale looked at why they had stopped. They were waiting at some sort of wall. "Why did we stop?" he asked.
"Just wait..." Anthony said with a smirk on his face. He watched the husky's face as the wall opened up, and he realized it was an elevator.
"Wow...you'd have to own a hospital to have an elevator in your house..."
Anthony chuckled lightly, "Well...actually I said they own that hospital...I think they actually own some more..."
They stepped in the elevator and Anthony pushed the button to go to the third floor. Kale looked over, and nuzzled the bear, and licked under his muzzle.
Anthony leaned away from the husky, laughing, "Stop..." he said through the laughter.
Kale stopped and saw that the door opened.
"Welcome to my floor..." Anthony said with a smile.
"Floor?..."
"Yeah...they just decided to give me a floor..." Anthony said then looked at the husky, "the bed is this way..." he said and led Kale to the bed. They entered the room and Anthony put the lights on very dim. He led the husky to the bed and fell down with a plop.
Kale landed on the bear and kissed him again. He felt the happiest he had since all this had happened. He moved onto the bear's jacket and pulled on it. He let Anthony sit up and once he removed while he was working on the jacket Kale was already lifting up his shirt.
"Eager?" Anthony asked with a chuckle.
"Aren't you?" Kale asked as he threw the shirt down.
Anthony pulled the husky back onto him and kissed him deeply again, and let out a low growl. He moved a hand to the husky's shirt and lifted it up, and Kale quickly complied. After the shirt was gone Anthony let out a happy growl and ran his hands through Kale's fur. He nuzzled along the husky and stopped when he heard Kale whimper. "What's wrong..."
Kale was frowning, "Me...my fur..." he said referring to the missing patches of fur on his arms, wrists, ankles, legs, chest, and face.
Anthony frowned now, "I don't care about those...they'll grow back quickly...don't worry..." he said and continued to nuzzle the husky.
Kale smiled, "Yeah...I guess..." he said and returned the actions. He glided his paws down to the bear's pants and pushed inside them. He heard Anthony let out a light moan and licked the bear. Kale sat up and undid the bear's pants, and helped the bear removed them. Now he was left in his black briefs. Kale chuckled lightly.
"What?" Anthony asked, "I usually wear thes-" he said as the husky cut him off.
"No, not that...just that with your white fur and then these black briefs...which you look good in, now that I can actually stare..." Kale said and ran his paws over the bear's body.
"Well, why don't you get comfortable?" Anthony asked and groaned as the paws ran over him, and felt them go away. He looked up and saw the husky struggling with his cast. He sat up and helped him, and then immediately put his paws into the husky's underwear. He gently squeezed Kale's member, hearing him let out a low whimper.
Kale pushed against the bear's paw, and with his own paws took off his underwear. Once he got it off he gave a shudder when he felt Anthony's nose on his sack, and his tongue lightly lick up to his member.
Anthony slowly took the cock into his mouth, running his tongue along the husky's member. Anthony was surprised at how it was. He had never been with someone before, but knew that he liked males. He had always been nervous that it wouldn't be good, and was glad that he liked this more than anything he'd done before. He felt a hand on his head, and then realized that Kale was taking off his bandana. He had wondered what it would be like, and so far he was enjoying himself, and was glad to hear that Kale was enjoying himself. He felt the husky's cock move to his throat and he began to gag. Anthony pulled off the cock quickly and coughed.
"You OK?" Kale asked, and let out a whine when the cool air meet his member.
Anthony didn't respond, but instead took the cock back into his mouth. He sucked lightly on the tip, hearing Kale moan.
"Anthony..." Kale said through a moan. He felt the bear pull off, and Anthony looked up at him.
"What?" he asked with a small whimper, and then playfully licked on Kale's member again.
"Could we...umm..." Kale began, and used his hands pressing his palms together each going a different way.
Anthony looked at the husky, confused, then it clicked. "Oh..." he said, and then blushed deeply. "Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yeah..." Kale replied. He watched as the bear moved up put his waist in the husky's face, and then returned to Kale's cock. "You still have on your briefs..." Kale said. He heard Anthony give a grunt and realized that he didn't care. Kale moved his paw through the cloth and brought the bear's member out through the front. After it was in front of him Kale looked over the member. He moved up and smelt along it, taking his time and inhaling the scent. It was pleasant, the bear's musk, but also very strong and Kale felt it overpowering his head.
Anthony whimpered as he felt Kale's nose move along his member and found himself being more earnest as he sucked on the meat. He began to bob his head in a rhythm.
Kale finally took the member into his mouth. He wrapped his tongue around the member and slowly bobbed his head. After a few moments he felt Anthony let out low groan and begin to pump in the husky's muzzle. Kale guessed that he was about to cum and increased his efforts, and soon the bear lost control. He pushed down on the husky and felt the first shot of his load come out. He pulled away from Kale's mouth also though, not wanting to make him gag.
Kale swallowed the load as the bear's cock twitched in his mouth and was surprised by how much there was. After a moment the stream stopped and he continued to lick on the bear's member-coaxing out any remaining cum.
Anthony tried not to slack off just because he had shot, and tried to increase his efforts on the husky. He felt Kale pull off his cock, "Anthony...I'm close..." he said through moans.
Anthony felt the cock begin to throb around his tongue and tasted the husky's load as it landed across his tongue. Anthony was glad that he enjoyed it; that had been his biggest fear, that he wouldn't enjoy another male. He pulled off the husky with a content smile and then hugged Kale.
Kale pushed himself into the bear's arms and felt Anthony pull him tighter in return. Kale realized how sleepy he was and within a minute had fallen asleep.
Anthony smiled at the husky, and then moved away from him. He watched the husky sleep for a moment before getting up and putting back on his clothes. He covered Kale up and frowned as he moved into the elevator, but there was work to be done. He went downstairs and went back to the couch. He sat there and opened a book and pulled out a pen. He looked over at a pill capsule he had swiped from the hospital and pulled out a pill. He threw it in his mouth and hoped it would take affect soon. He slowly looked over the work and through tired eyes attempted to finish the homework he almost forgot about.
