Jess: "Yes! Look at what the loggers have done to this place, they have destroyed everything!"
Tony: "It's ok, I know you had your heart set on coming back here, let's head back now, there's nothing left for us here."
Jess: "No! I want you to land by that river up ahead."
Tony: "Ok, you're the boss, but I don't know what you expect to find."
As the chopper landed I jumped out and ran to the river bank. As I looked around at the destruction I fell to my knees and began sobbing into my hands, it looked as though I would never get to see my love and saviour again.
I picked myself up from the mud and returned to the helicopter, this truly felt like a nightmare.
Jess: "Shove over!"
Tony: "What?"
Jess: "I'm flying, move over!"
Tony moved aside as I sat at the controls. I had not done much flying, but I knew the basics from a few lessons that I had with Tony. I slowly raised the chopper and headed south following the river.
Tony: "We don't have much fuel Jess, and you're going in the wrong direction, go east."

Tony: "Why? We don't have enough fuel to be doing this, you know that! Turn back now!"
Jess: "NO! Just watch the river and look for the crocodile."
Tony: "You don't even know if that croc exists, this is stupid, just head back now before we get into some major trouble!"

Tony: "I think you need your head read, turn back now, this is... Wait, what is that?"
I looked in the direction where Tony was pointing and saw something large moving through the water.
Tony: "You have to be kidding me, that crocodile is huge!"
I screamed in excitement and frantically searched for somewhere to land.
Tony: "Settle down! I don't want you to crash, land on that logging road. Hay, now that there is access, we can drive here!"
I ignored Tony, I was much too excited, I ran from the helicopter as fast as I could, in my haste I tripped over a log, but I was back up and running in seconds. All I wanted to do was see my beloved croc again. As I ran down the river bank I could see the giant reptile swimming in front of me. I cried out to get my loves attention, I watched as the crocodile came to a stop, he turned his head slightly then disappeared under the surface. I stumbled toward the water as I removed my cloths, but I was suddenly tackled to the ground by Tony.

Tony began to drag me back up the bank away from the water, I kicked at him and tried to struggle free.

I managed to struggle free and began to run back toward the water. I looked over my shoulder and noticed Tony stop running, he just stood there with a look of sheer terror in his eyes, and he slowly raised his arm and pointed to something in front of me. I turned and saw what got his attention. There he was, the very same croc that saved me the year before. A tear came to my eye as he approached me, I knelt down in front of him and reached out toward his snout. Jess: "Seeing as we have access here, I need you to get on the two way and get a truck for transport, I want to take him back for some research, and it looks like he needs a new home by the look of him."
Tony: "Are you sure Jess, Wait! What do you want me to do!?"
Jess: "You heard me, get on that radio!"
11 hours later, 1:50am

I awoke with a start to a familiar voice of a fellow herpetologist.

Jess: "Ok, let's do it, I will get him out of here and into the lab. You get the equipment."
Kate: "Great! See you in there."
As I coaxed the croc into the lab, I looked at the examination table and burst out laughing, "There is no way in hell you are going to fit on that is there!" I said looking at the huge reptile looking up at me curiously.

Jess: "I need to go to the rest room."
