Pokephilia Story - Love has No Bounds
A Blazing New Year
By J.C. Solis
"Three! Two! One! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" shouted the whole gang on arrival of a brand new year. The neighborhood filled with the popping of fireworks in the air as the friends all took a shot glass of their favorite liquor and drank themselves silly. They had all reached the culmination of a brand new year, and hope was in the air that maybe this year would be better than the last.
Jason Kitchener was one of those revelers, and his friends and their pokemon were all gathered at his house to celebrate the New Year. He and his best-bro, Justin, planned the whole day out, bringing all sorts of meat to grill outside and tons of beer and liquor to drink on the hour of the grand hour. Jason manned the grill despite how cold and snowy the outside was, and he tended to the racks of ribs, patties for burgers, and all sorts of veggies and corn that the grill-meister served up. He may be a goofy guy with a boisterous silly side, but he commanded an audience whenever he grilled. Jason was formidable at the propane burners, and his skill rivaled the sous-chef Kiara and her cooking skills in the kitchen. And Kiara submitted to how good of a cook the Silph Co. Engineer was at the grill, and Saria was there to give her vote of approval as well. The four friends and their pokemon were all there to eat and drink till the arrival of Midnight, and they would enjoy a good meal and some alcoholic beverages to boot.
But Jason, despite the grilling and silliness of his demeanor, was in fact a man of many emotions. He hid his pain well and didn't like to show it. After taking his fourth shot of scotch whiskey with his friends after the midnight celebration, he walked over to a window that looked out to the starry night sky. He looked at the sky and sighed, wondering how his life had come to this moment. It had been a tumultuous year, but it was also a year of joy. He felt a presence come up to him from behind, and he turned to see the cheery face of his pokemon partner, the ever sassy and cheery Camilla the Blaziken.
"Hey dummy, you're missing out on Justin doing some goofy things," she recounted. "He's so red that he even put a bucket on his head to hide. Even Lance is drinking, and he almost never drinks!"
"Hey there, Camilla doll," said the Unova native in his profound New York accent. "Damn, it's really been a year, ain't it? Time sure does go fast when you're having fun."
"Sure has. What's on your mind, Jason hun?"
"Nothing much. Just reflecting is all."
He then turned around to face the night sky again. He noticed a certain star in the sky that was burning rather strong and bright. He was glad to see it, as it seemed that his wish to enjoy his life with his partner pokemon had come true.
Jason had become a Pokephile, and it was a good lead up that had allowed him to push that boundary and exceed way past it, going well into blasphemous territory to the eyes of some. But Jason didn't mind committing a little bit of blasphemy from time to time. He wasn't too religious, and he tended lean more toward Helix Fossil than Arceus, but what he had done would certainly lead to him being forced to confess his sins by all the zealots in the world. He felt Camilla lay a hand on his shoulder and lean on him. It was such a lovely moment, and he was glad to be living through this. He hoped to continue to enjoy days and nights like these with his friends and family, but more importantly, with Camilla.
"You know, I never thought I'd dig at this stuff with you and me, Camilla."
"Oh? Haven't you always had feelings for me, dumb dumb?"
"Heh heh, that I did and still do. I'm just reflecting is all. Just looking back at how I decided to fall in love with one hot chickadee and almost get caught in the process."
"Hah! Yeah, that sure was hairy," and Camilla leaned on Jason more. "But do you regret it?"
Jason turned his face to look at Camilla, a nice and warm smile on his face.
"Not one fucking minute of it," and with that, the two sat down on the sofa and began to recount everything that had happened, and the fun and misadventure the two had in the past month or so.
It was a short while of things happening fast, but it would be the most memorable event of their lives...
The alarm clock buzzed hard and loud, alerting the man in bed to wake up from his slumber. Jason groaned as he tossed and turned in bed, the air feeling too cold and the morning too early for him to start it. He eyed the time and found it to be 6:30 AM on the dot, the usual time for him to get up and go to work. He reached outward and slammed his hand on it. He then return his arm back under the covers and returned to sleep.
"Blaze! Blaze blaze!" 'Get out of bed, lazy ass,' said the familiar sass of a certain pokemon that was sleeping in a cot next to his bed. 'You don't want to be late for work again, right?'
"Dang it, Camilla, give a fella some time to enjoy the warmth of bed, no."
Though Jason knew what Camilla wanted to say, there was the language barrier between him understanding her fully in a human language.
"Blaze? Blaze blaziken!" 'Want warmth? How about a nice Flamethrower on your ass? That'll warm you up.'
Jason got out of bed and into the cold embrace of the winter morning. In all honesty the air was not that frigid, but he wanted to prolong his love affair with the thick blankets of bed a long as possible. He got out and went to put on deodorant, then his neatly ironed work clothes. He wore a white button shirt underneath the ironed and pressed burgundy slacks and suit jacket, once more seeming to display an affinity for Team Flare. He then reached for his winter coat--a thick, double breasted and crimson trench coat that was sure to trap some of his body warmth. And to top it off, he sprayed on a fragrant cologne that was sure to bring attention.
"Blaze?" 'Ready to go?' said Camilla, who had put on a yellow bow on her head as clothes. She slept on a cot that hung from the ceiling, but she was the one who made his bed.
"Ready. Sure hope the coffee's done."
They left the bedroom and came to the scent of coffee arabica nice and ready in its pot, and Jason served himself a cup and a nice bowl of cereal to enjoy this morning. With his belly full and his mind caffeinated, the two went to another door to enter the garage and meet the fiery beast that would take them to the office.
A crimson Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye greeted them, the car a special gift from the Dodge Motor Company that was a half year early before its release date the next year. It was red, beautiful, and when Jason stepped in to start the engine it roared loud. The 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine came to life with a guttural bellow, and when they drove onto the streets the power of the 797 horsepower engine came to light. The Silph Co. Pokeball Plant was just on the outskirts of town, but there was still good enough distance for him to put the pedal to the metal. Jason gunned the throttle and the roar of the engine and the whine of the supercharger filled the cabin and the surrounding area. The sound would be enough to set off car alarms and even vibrate house windows.
Jason had on his favorite Independent Rock music song on, The Reason by Hoobastank, and he and Camilla bopped their heads at the beat of the song. But even at the high volume that they had the song at, the roar of the engine could still be heard. But it was when Jason drove onto a straight-away highway that he decided to put his foot down hard.
"Ready for this, Camilla?" said Jason rather wickedly.
"Blaze blaze! Blaze?" 'Don't do it, dummy. Remember last time when you got a ticket?' Camilla only sigh, realizing that her trainer would do stupid things even if he understood her. *sigh* "Blaze." 'Just, try not get pulled over again, Dumb dumb.'
And with that, Jason stomped on the throttle. The guttural bellow of the engine and the whine of the supercharger utterly filled the cabin, with the outside reverberating with the sheer intensity of 797 horsepower. The two were pushed back into their seats by the G force of the take off, and the car's speedometer took off, getting closer and closer to dangerously illegal speeds. But Jason, seeming to sense danger, let off the accelerator and pushed on the brakes a little before arriving at a billboard. Behind the sign was a police cruiser, and the officer was ready to take off and go after the Unova native and his monster car. But Jason had decelerated to well within the legal speed limit, and so there was nothing to give a ticket for.
"Blaze blaze!" 'You dumbass, we almost got a ticket!' shrieked Camilla.
"Don't worry, Camilla. I slowed down enough so we won't get in trouble. That asshole ain't got nothing on us."
Despite the near miss of getting a fine for speeding, Jason continued to drive fast and loud, though he was spooked enough to not reach dangerous speeds again. The crimson Charger arrived at the entrance of the Silph Company Poke Ball factory, the Daegar Region branch. There was a large stone poke ball in the entrance to the complex, and there was a guard and gate watching over the employees' entrance. Jason stopped to show the guard his employee ID and the gate began to open. He drove in and parked, got out of the car into the chilly Winter air, and headed for the entrance of the office. He greeted and was greeted by the secretary before entering the engineering department hall.
Already, he saw the man whom he hoped to meet, and he was looking at a blueprint along with a few more members of the Engineering team.
Justin Solis was standing over the blueprints for a brand new poke ball design, and his Gardevoir Livia was watching over him as he was scratching his head over the problem he had. The large and burly man could barely be contained in his black winter coat, and even Livia wore a thick coat. One thing that Jason noticed was that the room was surprisingly cold and without an ounce of warmth, hence why his two friends were still wearing their winter coverings.
"Sup Justin," said Jason as he reached his best bro. "Jeez, why is it chilly in here? Crank up the friggin heater already."
"The heater unit for the whole building broke down, Jason," Justin broke down the bad news. "I got a space heater here cranking out a little bit of warmth, but everyone's bundled up in clothes and blankets to get through the cold. Hoo boy, I sure could go for a hot chocolate right about now."
Jason groaned. "Damn it, I can't believe it. It was warmer in my car than it is in here."
"Blaze? Blaze!" 'Still feeling cold? I'm still offering that Flamethrower from the morning.'
'Flamethrower?' said Livia the Gardevoir. 'What, did you intend to heat up you trainer with a spout of burning flames?'
'Yep. And I'll use Fire Blast if his griping gets worse.'
And so, Jason and Justin went on to work with the Poke ball design. They planned on making a ball that was slightly more durable than a typical one, but there was the problem of making it stronger without adding too much weight or make it too expensive to produce of sell. And there were so many variables that came with this new design that they'd need even more time to work on it. It was then that a short man came up to the team. He looked rather haggard and sheepish, as though he was wondering if he should even be getting this close.
"I figured that we ought to use a different metal alloy for the casing," said the man. "I've been meaning to contact a supplier who could supply us the metal for cheaper, and I just-"
The man went on with the technical jargon and both Justin and Jason listened intently. Though the friends thought that his idea was great, the other people in the room gave off a sort of spiteful vibe through their looks and their body language. They almost didn't want this man to be in the same room as them, even if he were to come up with a brilliant plan.
"That's a great idea, James," said Jason. "I guess we oughta tell the Boss that, and maybe then we can get to work on that new materials deal."
The man just smiled and nodded in his head, just thankful that he didn't receive any sort of jeering or ridicule for once.
The man was named James Pitch, and he was not always this reserved or embarrassed. He was a prominent engineer at the Poke ball plant, but he has since fallen from grace in the eyes of almost everyone in the factory. James is a Pokephile, and a few months back Father Matthew Grint exposed him for being one. He was having a tender moment with his pokemon, a female Leavanny by the name of Mila. Mila loved her trainer to a fault, but now she couldn't be seen with her trainer in public without being ridiculed or berated by other people. James kept her in her pokeball for most of the day, and so there wasn't much time that the two spent together in public.
The brainstorming group, after spending a good ten minutes discussing some engineering banter, disbanded and everyone returned to their desk. James was the last to return, and he slowly began to slink back to his desk in the middle of the room. Jason could only sigh as he saw the miserable state his coworker was in. He felt that it wasn't right for him to be treated like this. He didn't see what his coworker did as a bad thing. Maybe it was because he saw the taboo of Pokephilia from a different perspective, or maybe because some of his own friends were Pokephiles, but he didn't mind these types of people.
Pokephiles were no different than anyone else. They love, they laugh, they cry, and they make good company. They get hungry, they like the same topics as everyone else, dress the same and so much more. Jason felt that there was so much that Pokephiles had in common with regular folk, maybe because Pokephiles were just regular people. They were average, common people, with the only difference being their attachment to pokemon. Was that really such a bad thing? Jason then turned to see his own pokemon, Camilla. She was definitely sassy and brash, but there was a loveable side to her that he just simply admired. He knew that she'd do anything, even put her own body on the line, for his safety. She honestly cared for her 'Dumb-dumb', and there was a deep bond between them. Jason had feelings for his pokemon, though he wondered how far those feelings went. He wondered if his feelings for his pokemon went beyond the roles of pokemon trainer and pokemon.
The day carried on normally, and Jason was growing tired. Lunch came and so he and Justin and their pokemon went over to the cafeteria to eat. After a warm meal amid the cold of the design room it was back to work with another few pitches for ideas from everyone in the team. But none of the ideas matched the impact that James made, and the Chief Engineer even agreed with the idea and said that he'd talk with the executives to work a deal with the alloy company. This was a proud moment for James, but he felt that the scorn brought onto him by the others increased further with the jealousy brought by this. Jason thought that his idea was fantastic, but it seemed that scorn came in other fashions.
Quiting time came at 3 PM, and Jason could not wait to get back home, or at least somewhere with adequate warmth. He and Camilla gave their good byes to Justin and Livia and decided to head home. They hopped back into the crimson Charger Redeye and sped along the road home.
But Jason was rather fixated on how James was doing. He knew that plenty of his coworkers were giving the man a hard time. He would often receive anonymous messages on his desk or at his home recounting his actions and saying how much of a bad person he was, or last what the senders thought how bad he was. Even some members of town gave James wry looks of distaste whenever he would walk by, and even more so when he was with Mila. Jason couldn't help but feel bad for James. He didn't deserve this hate, and he certainly didn't deserve to be bullied.
On the drive home, Jason didn't punch the gas all that hard along the drive, nor did he even drive all that fast. He still had many things on his mind, and he just didn't want to drive fast with these thoughts in his head. He thought of how James became attracted to his Leavanny Mila, and he wondered about his own relationship with Camilla. Was he really planning on taking the plunge? Was this a good idea? Perhaps he should take the steps into a taboo one step at a time. He figured that being too hasty could lead to all sorts of regrets.
And it was something that Jason had been thinking of for a long while. He and Camilla have been eyeing each other for a good month or two. He had been developing feelings of attraction for her, and he was sure that Camilla had been doing the same to him. He often found her staring at him with a sort of feeling of want, and for sure he felt the same for her. The time just felt right for them to do something about it, and since Christmas was coming in four weeks, it would make for a good time at least. He looked deep into his heart and found that he liked his pokemon, but he also felt the fear that came with being discovered by people like Priest Grint, or even worse, being rejected by his love interest.
Jason arrived back home in no time, but it seemed that his thoughts keep him too preoccupied to leave the car. He sat on the wide seat of his car and just keep reminiscing and thinking, even though Camilla was next to him trying to get his attention.
"Blaze? Blaze blaze?" 'Hey? Hey dummy?' said Camilla as she tried to get his attention. 'Want to get out of the car already?'
Jason shook his head and chuckled. "Sorry, Camilla. Guess I got too lost in thoughts."
The two got out of the car and entered their home. The space heater was already on due to the automatic timer, and the house was toasty warm. But Jason was still too preoccupied with his thoughts to notice anything. He just went to the kitchen, grabbed a can of beer from the fridge and sat on the loveseat in the living room. He didn't turn on the TV or get to playing on his Nintendo Switch, nor did he even sit on his favorite recliner chair to relax. He didn't do any of the things he normally did after coming back from work, and this started getting Camilla worried. She ignored him at first and cracked into a book while sitting on the other sofa. But she noticed how quiet her trainer was--he was normally much louder and boisterous than this.
"Blaze?" 'What on your mind, Jason? Why so quiet?'
No response.
"Blaze? Blaze Blaze?" 'Hello? Are you even listening to me?' At last Jason said something, and it caught the Blaziken off.
"What're your thoughts on them Pokephiles, Camilla?" he said without any warning.
Camilla was taken about, having not prepared herself for this.
"Blaze? Blaze blaze." 'Why so random a subject?' She thought about it for a moment and came up with an answer. 'I guess they ain't so bad a folk. I mean, you plan on getting into that stuff, Dummy?'
"I ask that cause I've been thinking about how fucked up people are to treat James like they are. I'm glad that Saria and Kiara got their secrets well and shut or else they too may be jumped on by all those fucking cowards out there, but I've been thinking about this a shit ton, is all. I mean... What do you think makes a Pokephile wanna be a Pokephile?"
Camilla thought about what he said for a moment, but she had her assumptions on why her trainer asked these questions. Was Jason planning on becoming a Pokephile with her?
"I mean, what do you think it'd be like if you and me got together like that? What do you think would change about us? Would we remain the same? Would we still be like the buncha dopes we are?"
Camilla thought about how her trainer was behaving, and it was worrying her. Jason was getting rather philosophical, and it wasn't like him to become like this. He must have been really upset over James to become like this. But she wondered about what he said, and it didn't seem like a man or woman ought to change just because of other people's preferences. She then began thinking about her relationship with Jason. She liked him, and even found him to be attractive even. Though he was goofy and quite the joker, he was also charming and down to earth. He valued his relationships and friendships, and he'd always be willing to help them out. Camilla liked that about her trainer, and she liked just how sincere he was as well. She figured that the seed of becoming a pokephile has already been planted in his heart, and so she figured that maybe they could test the water to see where this will all lead to.
Camilla got off her seat and went over to Jason, sitting next to him on the Love seat. She wondered how distraught he must be feeling right now, and it was something she could not get out of her mind. Maybe they could start something? All the while, Jason had to face his inner convictions.
"Camilla..." said Jason somberly. "I don't like how fucked up the world is right now. And it doesn't make these thoughts I've been getting these past few weeks all that easy. I guess I've been having Pokephilic thoughts like this for a good while now. I... I guess I like you and all, and I know you find me kinda fine even though I can be a jackass at times."
"Blaze." 'You can be quite the idiot at times, I know,' she said with a smile.
The blaziken put an arm around her trainer and brought him to her chest. Jason could smell how fragrant and wonderful her chest feathers were, and it was quite a tender moment. He didn't know whether to follow his heart or to hold back.
"Camilla... I'm... I'm confused," said Jason. "I just wish that you could understand me like how Kiara and Saria understand their own pokemon. I guess what I want to say is that... I love you."
Camilla looked at him with a happy smile. Despite his goofy and immature nature, she loved him so much as well. She wanted him to be happy with her, and she wanted to be with him for a while longer still. She placed her chin above his head as she brought him closer to her so that he could feel her warmth. And then, when she felt it right, she let out her heart:
"I love you too, Dumb dumb," she said in a perfect English, sassy voice. "I know that we've had our ups and downs. I know that you're a good man at heart, too. And I'm glad I get to have such a wonderful trainer like you."
Jason lifted up his head. He smiled and looked at her. He was surprised to hear that Camilla could now speak English perfectly, but it came as to no surprise considering how tender they both were. The two found a fondness for each other, and they wanted to bring that even further.
"I guess we must a done something significant, Camilla, cause I can hear you loud and clear."
"Good, cause now I can berate you for being a dummy in a human language."
Jason felt his heart pound from how happy he felt. He wanted to let his heart come clean, and he did it. He hoped that the relationship between them would only continue to grow, and that they could enjoy each others company even more. For some reason, he felt like going out for a walk to the Poke park despite the cold and the snow. A nice walk would take his mind off of any worries he might have.
"Let's go for a walk, Camilla," suggested Jason. "I kinda wanna go for a good cruise to the Pokepark or something."
"You aren't going to complain about the cold or anything like that? If you are, then I can keep you warm with a good Flamethrower."
"Heh heh, I don't think it'll come to that, Camilla," he chuckled.
And so, the two lifted themselves off their seats and left the house. Jason felt a warmth in his heart as his heart began to beat. He could feel relief in finally letting his heart come clean. And as he closed the door to his house and walked down the street with his pokemon he began to feel cheery and laid-back. He walked with Camilla, holding her hand as they cruised down the sidewalk and arrived at the park. Already there were children and their pokemon playing in the snow and playing games like snowballs fights and making snow angels. It was a festive time, and even more so with Christmas closing in. It was a festive time, and it was a holly, jolly time as well.
Jason and Camilla sat on a park bench, and they were still holding hands. The pokeball engineer didn't even feel the cold anymore--his heart and body was warmed up by his pokemon partner. The two just talked for a good while; work, their friends, and even the cold were just some of the subjects that the newly forged pair were making. But when they came to the subject of love that was when they began to feel their hearts beat even more.
It was all set. The two looked at each other's eyes, and they liked what they saw. Jason's steel blue eyes looked at the yellow and turquoise eyes of his pokemon. They held hands even tighter, and soon they were close to having a tender moment. Almost nothing would stop them from sharing their bond.
But then...
"What have we here?" said a familiar and haughty voice. "I hope that the two of you are not planning on taking things further."
The two froze and got a tingle up their spines, with a cold sweat starting to pour. Father Matthew Grint was behind them, and he wanted an explanation. Jason had to think fast and say something to de-escalated the situation before he got into deep trouble. But as he thought of a good excuse, deep down Jason began to feel a tinge of anger. It was the priest who shamed James and caused his life to turn upside down. It was these anti-Pokephilia crusaders that were tearing up society. He wanted to rise up an berate Father Grint for his holier-than-thou campaign, for all the people whose lives he turned upside down.
"I'm not doing anything that'd offend Arceus, Father," said Jason, who showed a tinge of annoyance. "I ain't a pokephile, but does that mean I have to be one to show that I love my pokemon?"
"It is one thing to love your pokemon, and another to commit blasphemy."
Jason got even angrier. His eyes burned at this audacity, and he voiced it the priest.
"Father Grint," Jason raised his voice, "do you have to look at everything with those Anti-Pokephilic eyes of yours? Is just simply loving you pokemon--just holding their hands, hugging them, letting em know how they mean to you--is all of that stuff blasphemy? Cause if it is, then I'll gladly commit it to show how much my chickadee here means to me."
Father Grint looked at the young man with a shocked face. No one had ever contradicted him with such firmness and unwavering stance. The priest wanted to berate the young man, but the man was bothered by just how adamant he was to the priest.
"Fair enough, Son," admitted the Father. And from then on, he spoke in a calmer tone. "I just hope that you won't take things beyond this. Though I may seem too harsh, I just want you to know that I only do this because I don't want to see the world degenerate to a low level. I know people love their pokemon, but what they do is simply not right in eyes of the Alpha. I just want to have people see that."
To drive his point further home, Jason challenged the priest.
"Is it not right in Arceus' eyes, or is it not right in your eyes? There's a difference, you know."
The priest grimaced, those words stinging him hard. Now he really wanted to teach this man a lesson, but he saw that Jason was not going to listen.
"In both our eyes," said the priest before turning around to leave.
When the priest turned around the corner, Jason and Camilla breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was a close call, Jason," said Camilla. "I thought we'd be in for it for sure."
"Well, I think we oughta be careful from here on," warned Jason. "He's gonna be looking at us to see what kinda things we may end up doing."
"If he does, then let's get a restraining order," said Camilla. "I've had enough with all these holier-than-thou bastards for once."
The two got off their bench in the park and went on for a further walk. A vendor was selling hot chocolate from a little push cart and the two lovebirds went to get a cup. The hot drink was both sweet and satisfying, with a hint of cinnamon and spice that gave the drink a little bit of a kick. Not feeling like cooking back home, the two went towards the outskirts of downtown Lakeshire and entered the first restaurant that could find. The abode sold soups and warm meals, and being the Unova native that he was Jason ordered a melted cheese and pastrami sandwich while Camilla ordered a zesty soup.
All the while, Jason would cozy up to Camilla as the two ate their meals. They told jokes, recounted what had happened earlier today, and an insult that took things a bit too far. All of this lead to a "Dumb dumb" name calling from Camilla and a conk on the head for Jason.
*conk* "Ow! What the hell was that for?"
"You know I don't like it when you make rotisserie jokes. I may be a bird, but I ain't bird brained enough to not feel offended."
"Sheesh, sorry then. I was just cracking a joke, is all. No need to feel offended."
The two would walk back home for a good evening of relaxation and warmth. On entering back home Jason cranked the home heater up to an agreeable temperature, took off his suit for a more relax able attire, grabbed a few cans of beer from the fridge for another round of suds and sat down on his favorite recliner to watch TV. All the while Camilla sat on her favorite love seat to read a book, the book being a naughty story full sex escapades and intrigue.
Despite his attempts to relax, Jason was still tense for the rest of the day since his close call with the priest. He knew that he'd have to be careful from here on lest he meet a similar fate to James. But Jason had barely just started delving into the taboo, and he didn't feel ready to take this new relationship to its limits. For as crast and antsy as he was, he also valued taking things small steps at a time. Going too hasty could mean a relationship that could end up crashing and burning, and the Pokeball Engineer was not about to let any project, let alone a romantic one, go up in smoke.
Jason, overall, was happy to let his mind come free. He was happy that Camilla had accepted him, and even more so that the language barrier between the two was eliminated. He knew that his friends were going to be excited over his conversion, and he was happy to join Saria and Kiara as another person who found a kink into the Pokephilic kind. He was glad to have done this, and it was only going to get better. Wondering how society would accept the taboo, He turned the TV on to a news channel and saw something that really warmed his heart:
With Christmas spirit in the air, he saw people and their pokemon singing Christmas Carols at people's homes. And what was interesting was the headline: "Pokephilia Advocates Wish a Merry Christmas to Local Residents in Lakeshire Town".
Jason called out to Camilla to view the news, and she was just as stunned as he was to see the headline. A news anchor was asking an advocate some questions, and the responses were humble and sincere, as though he held no rancor or bitterness for his fellow Pokephiles' persecution.
"So, what are you and your fellow advocates doing today?" asked the New Anchor woman.
"We're just enjoying the Christmas cheer is all," said the advocate. "We're not here to cause trouble or make people feel uncomfortable about us and all that. Just because we love our pokemon in our own special way doesn't mean we're trying to force people to accept us."
"So you're singing Christmas Carols to show off your holiday spirit?"
"Yep, and proudly too."
"Aren't you afraid of being persecuted while doing this?" asked the Anchor woman one last question. "There are certainly a ton of people who have not warmed up to the ideals of Pokephilia yet."
"Like I said, we're not going to force people to like us. Everyone is free to make their own opinions about us. We just want to show that we aren't bad people. We just want to have fun this Christmas season and to spread cheer, and I hope that the people can see that and at least tolerate us. All I know is that Arceus is watching, and he'll be the one to judge us or not."
And the man who was on his recliner, finishing his second can of beer, was stunned--as was the book reading blaziken. They continued watching the headline, seeing where it would lead and if there were any anti-pokephilia advocates showing up to ruin things. But thankfully, none did.
Jason was taken aback by what the advocate had said about Pokephiles, and he couldn't agree more. He was glad to see these people stand up for their cause and their ideals. Other people didn't have to love it nor fully accept them. It was all a matter of showing that Pokephiles meant no harm to others and that they were just trying to live normal lives. Jason was glad to have seen that. He even saw people he knew join the pokephiles in their singing choir, singing everything from "Jingle Bells" to "Rudolph the Red Nose Stantler". There wasn't any of the typical signs of violence or hatred; everything was just so peaceful and serene, and it was a moment that he hoped would continue to happen again and again.
And so, Jason continued channel surfing while Camilla read her book. The two started off their new relationship with hope in their hearts, and with a brights future ahead...
The New Years celebrations had at last come to a close, and Jason and Camilla were at last alone in their homes. Saria, Kiara and Justin had left with their pokemon, though they helped clean the house up and pick up any trash that they made. The only thing that even showed that there was celebration was the recycling bin outside filled with bottle of liquor and cans of beer. There were enough beer and liquor bottles to make the four look like raging alcoholics, despite their pokemon also partaking in the drinking and celebrations.
With the celebrations over, Jason and Camilla were reminiscing on what remained of New Years early morning. It was still 1 o'clock AM, and the two were not yet sleepy, though they were a bit tipsy. Jason was staring out the window and looking at a bright star, one that was glimmering a sort of ambience and hope upon him and all of Lake Shire. Jason had seen that star shine over many a night, and this one in particular seemed so special and hopeful. There was so much that had happened up till this day ever since he and Camilla became a couple about one month ago. There were so many good moments like seeing the first snow fall, celebrating Christmas with family and friends, and now the cheer of a New Year. Jason got to experience all of this, and he was happy to have lived it out with his pokemon partner.
He felt a warm hand press on his shoulder, and he turned around to see the happy face of Camilla and all her cheer. Her face was full of cheer and joy, and it emanated from her face as she continued to display somewhat of a drunken stupor.
"Boy, that was a fun party for sure, Jason," said Camilla.
"It sure was," he replied. "And you just called me by name this time. Normally you'd throw around 'Dummy' and 'Dumb-dumb' whenever you refer to me."
"That's cause you are a Dummy." But at this moment, she decided to let her heart known. "But you're my special little Dumb-dumb, you know. You're the guy who means the most to me, and... I guess..." Camilla was getting flustered with her emotions, but she managed to say what she meant. "I love you, Jason. I honestly do."
And to show her love, she pecked him on the cheek with her beak, sticking out her tongue a bit to give him a little lick. She gave him a rather sexual look, as though she was getting aroused.
"I love you too, Camilla," said Jason as he put an arm around her. He then decided to decipher her body language. "You know, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're hitting on me. You getting horny all of sudden or something?"
Camilla's cheeks burned, feeling embarrassed by him discovering her true feelings. But it seemed she wasn't too embarrassed to do what she did next, for she picked Jason up into her arms. He was caught completely by surprise with the blaziken putting one arm behind his knee and another behind his back and simply picked him up effortlessly.
"Hey! What're yah doing!" he shouted in objection. "Put me down!"
"Not until I can get some sugar out of you, honey," said Camilla rather sultrily.
Camilla carried Jason into their bedroom, barging past the door and placing him roughly on the bed. She was horny and raring to go, and her drunkenness had subsided enough for her to act clearly what she wanted to do. Though Jason tried to act surprised and unwilling, he was in fact getting a real hard-on from all this. He was aroused, and already a bulge was starting to form behind his pant crotch. He let Camilla undress him, with him putting in a small effort to remove his shirt, pants, shoes and socks. Now the only thing keeping him from being fully naked was a pair of grey boxers.
Jason's body was pretty fit, though he looked more on the thinner side due to his height. He worked out often and used every machine in the gym, even during Winter. And due to a good fitness regime he was well muscled and well exercised, though he preferred doing Cardio to Weight-lifting. He was a handsome man, and Camilla took note at her man and how sexy he looked, being well formed. She felt lucky having such a handsome trainer, and even more that she'd get to have her way with him. She gave him a wry and mischievous look, as though she was going to enjoy what she was going to do next.
"I hope you're nice and hard for me, Dumb-dumb, cause I won't be going easy on you," she teased.
"I wouldn't expect you to." But then, Jason decided to get coy with the name calling. "So, Miss Rotisserie, do you think you got it in yahs to take me on?"
"Oooh, I hate it when you call me that! I'll make you eat those words."
And with a huff, Camilla lowered his boxers and exposed his now fully erect member. He was nice, long and hard, just ready to take on a challenge. Camilla was not a virgin and neither was Jason. She had plenty of opportunities to have sex over at the Pokemon Daycare Center, and Jason had plenty of experience with a couple of girlfriends through his youth--though, in honesty they were more like flings than honest relationships.
Jason was of an impressive size, though he probably didn't boast the biggest member in town. His cock was hard and ready to get to business, and his tip was already squirting a bit of Pre-cum from his excitement. His heart was pulsing hard, and each pulse caused his member to pulsate with the rhythm of his heart. He was excited, to say the least, and he hoped to get the romp going.
Camilla leaned to Jason's rod and grabbed it, causing his spine to spasm at how hard she grabbed.
"Easy with the goods there, Camilla," Jason urged through his pain. "Play with it all you want. Just don't wring it out or beat it up too hard."
"I hoped that'd get your attention."
The blaziken raised and lowered her hand, giving him a hard and fast hand job. Because she had a beak instead of lips she couldn't give a proper blowjob, though she did give the tip of his rod a few good licks with her tongue. She was happy to provide loads of stimulation to him, and for sure the man was feeling loads of pleasure as he gripped the bedsheets from the pleasing and wet feeling of being blown. Camilla kept going at it, licking him like a lollipop and enjoying the taste of his cum as she squeezed every drop that she could from his member so she could lap up every drop.
Jason felt a climax coming due to the hard squeeze, but Camilla sensed this and stopped. She didn't want him to climax too early; not before they got to the real sexual stuff. And with that she gave him about a minute to recover. In the meantime, she climbed on the bed and on top of Jason in a Cowgirl position, aiming herself so that the next part will be smooth and effortless.
"You ready for this, Dummy?" asked Camilla.
"As ever," said Jason. "Whenever you wanna start going at it, just go."
And with that, Camilla used a hand to align his cock with her entrance. She lowered down till the tip was at her entrance, and when she felt ready she penetrated herself with his member. The two moaned as Jason entered her, and Camilla loved the feeling of something hard and thick entering her. Jason loved just how warm and tight she was. Her pussy was definitely on another level of pleasing. Camilla liked how he stretched her out and how deep into her he could go. She was thankful that he was so long, for she sank down further and further onto him and could feel him going deeper and deeper.
Soon she had inserted his entire rod into her, and she felt it wonderful to be filled up. With that, she began to rise up and slide down slowly, just getting the feel for him as she bopped up and slid back down. Jason had his eyes closed and was getting a feel for having sex with his pokemon. Never in his life did he think he'd be committing Sexual Pokephilia, and it was such a nice feel and moment as his pokemon hopping on top of him.
*sigh* "You like this, Jason sugar?" said Camilla.
"A ton, Camilla," said Jason with a bit of strain.
"Good, cause I'm just getting started." And upon saying that the Blaziken picked up the pace and began hopping even faster and harder onto him. She pulled out until just the tip remained, only to fall down hard and painfully for the both of them. The minutes dragged on with the both of them breathing hard and fast as their level of pleasure continued to skyrocket.
Sadly, all good things had to come to an end. Camilla and Jason both felt the build up of tension in their sexual organs and wouldn't be able to hold out much longer. And so Camilla rode rode him even harder and faster. The two were so close to climaxing and their hearts and organs could hardly take it anymore. They seemed to be at the heights of pleasure, and they both enjoyed the feeling.
But that feeling of pleasure would soon be eclipsed by a mind shattering feeling as the sensation rose up their spines and caused them to tingle. Camilla slammed onto Jason and stopped with his member buried deep inside her, all while Jason's cock erupted hard and even painfully sprayed his load deep and well into her. Their bodies tingled with the feeling of orgasm, and the two were in a euphoria that eclipsed all former sensations. And Camilla felt so much pleasure that her mind went out light burned light bulb and fell on top of Jason. She collapsed on him with a thud, though Jason was too deep in his sensations to either stop her fall or feel the pain of a large pokemon landing on him. Both of them were breathing hard and fast, and they were still trying to regain their senses after such a powerful climax.
Camilla lifted her head up to look at Jason, and when their eyes connected they smiled. This was such a tender moment for the both of them. They knew that they had just surpassed a new level of bonding, and they loved every minute of it.
"Now this... *sigh* This was pretty awesome," smiled Jason.
"Of course you'd love this, Dumb-dumb," said Camilla rather tired. "I certainly enjoyed it, that's for sure. Would you like to do this again?"
"Fuck yeah!" cheered Jason. "Hell, let's do it again tomorrow."
"Now hold on, let's give it some space. Let's not get all sex addicted or something."
"Just kidding, Camilla. I ain't that much of a horny dog." And with that, he wrapped his arms around his pokemon. "But I still enjoyed this a lot. We just did a bit boundary breaking thing and all."
"Yeah. We sure did." Camilla lowered her head on his chest as she wrapped her arms around her trainer. "But you know what, I don't have any regrets. I don't care if Father Grint were to suddenly barge out the closet door and beat us with a stick to get us to confess. I guess this is one of those crazy things that Love will make you do, eh."
"I don't regret this one bit either," smiled Jason. "Let Father Grint come. I ain't afraid of no one. I'm a fucking Pokephile and proud of it."
And with that, the two lovers got out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean themselves. This was such a hot and steamy session, and it was also the start of something quite lovely. But since it was still cold, Jason got into his pajamas before returning to bed. The two hopped on and got under the covers and spooned. They for sure were gonna have a good night asleep together.
But Jason was still awake for a while longer. He reminisced on this good day, and on all that had happened. He remembered how he became a Pokephile in early December, and now he just had sex on New Years. He hoped that things weren't going too fast, for he feared ruining his new relationship. And there was something different about this relationship than the other ones he's had with human partners. This one with Camilla felt more genuine, more wholesome and more sincere. He knew how much she loved him, and he loved her a lot too. It seemed that the bond between Trainer and Pokemon made them more tightly knit in a relationship. And he enjoyed how close he was to his fire bird.
He also remembered what he said about not being afraid of being found out by people like Father Grint.
That was a lie.
Jason knew that he had to be careful, lest he bring shame to himself and perhaps to those close to him. He remembered on how he came close to getting in trouble that December day when he was getting close with Camilla. He didn't want a repeat of that. And he didn't want to put Camilla in that kind of situation. But at least he felt solace knowing that his friends would be okay with that. At least Saria, Kiara and Justin were there to accept him for who he was.
And with that, the Unova native laid his head down on his pillow and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. He wanted to start the New Year day relaxed and well. He'd be grilling again on the barbeque later today and his friends would be ready to party again. What's more, he wanted to try a new technique to grill.
And with that, the New Year had come, and it was full of Hope and Joy...
