Early the next morning, I awoke, refreshed and ready to take on the tasks for the day. Alola had been a nice refreshing break, but I was more than eager to return to my duties as an assistant.

After the usual morning routine, I headed straight to the laboratory, where I spotted Professor Oak as usual, researching something or other.

"Hello Professor, busy as usual, I see?" I spoke curious as to what he was currently researching to which he jumped in shock.

"Thomas my boy, goodness, when did you arrive?" I smiled finding his apparent shock humorous. "Oh just now, Professor, you seemed so invested in what you were doing, you seemed oblivious to everything around you."

Professor Oak nodded his head, "I guess I was, perhaps I'm in need off a break myself!"

At that I left him to his own devices and headed outside where no doubt the Pokemon were waiting for my arrival.

"Good morning everybody!" I shouted and from everywhere around me, Pokemon appeared in their hundreds. I could see that my newest team members, Mudsdale and Jangmo-o seemed to be enjoying their new home.

"Mudsdale, Jangmo-o, how are you enjoying your new home? I hope everything is to your liking?"

Mudsdale, responded with his usual seriousness, I could see much of Lucario, Venusaur and Pidgeot in his personality. "The laboratory, has everything I could possibly ever need and want. There are no complaints from me."

Jangmo-o headbutted my legs to get my attention and I looked down towards the Dragon Pokemon, "I've been with Gible and Noivern they've been teaching me plenty, but, can we battle today, lets battle! I can't wait around forever!"

I laughed falling to the ground to pet Jangmo-o, "your so eager, how about this, I finish feeding the Pokemon and as soon as that's done, we head around and see if any off the Pokemon want to have a battle with you?"

Jangmo-o nodded his head and so I headed with the wagon to each habitat and gave every Pokemon their food, Infernape was quite happy to see me, I could tell that much. I caught glimpses of Sceptile observing me from within the treetops in the distance.

However, I should have been prepared for the attack from the Bug Pokemon, Heracross, "My favourite human, do you have any honey? I smell honey!" as he grabbed me and flung me around while speaking frantically about honey.

"Heracross, if you put me down I can get you your honey okay" I spoke trying to find the real Heracross as currently there were more than three all staring me down eager for honey.

Opening my bag I grabbed the honey jar and opened it and almost immediately, Heracross darted towards me, forcing me on the ground before he grabbed the honey and began eating every bit off it in a instant.

I had attempted to get up, but Heracross was surprisingly heavy but eventually he released me from his hold, before flying away to the forest likely full from the honey.

After all that was done, Jangmo-o returned to headbutting my legs impatiently, "are you done now, can we battle please" he dragged the e out relentlessly in an effort to convince me to say yes.

"Yes, lets go and see if anyone wants to have a battle with you." However, Jangmo-o already had his opponents figured out, "I'll battle Gible, he's a Dragon Type after all, he's the perfect beginners match for me and you."

"Okay then, lead the way Jangmo-o." Lead the way he did, as he ran off as fast as he could eventually finding Gible, with Buizel.

"Gible, you ready for a battle!" Jangmo-o shouted and Gible turned grinning excitedly. "Of course I am!" Gible replied.

"All right the match will be one on one and will end when one side is unable to continue battling, everybody ready" I asked both Gible and Jangmo-o to which they both nodded their heads, Buizel watching from a safe distance.

"Battle start!" I shouted

Gible moved first his fist arched towards Jangmo-o using Rock Smash. "Jangmo-o counter that with Headbutt!"

Gible and Jangmo-o soon fought head with fist, with no equal winner coming from the contest. Eventually they were both forced back no clear winner, meaning their power was even.

"Try using Screech instead!" I shouted as Jangmo-o screeched at full power causing Gible to cover his ears in pain at the high pitched screeching.

"Now use Dragon Claw" Jangmo-o soon rushed towards the dazed Gible, whose eyes widened comically at the approaching Dragon Type. Gible soon charged up a Dragon Pulse, but without me even needing to issue a command, Jangmo-o cut right through the Dragon Pulse using Dragon Claw as both an offensive and defensive move, not bad at all.

Without any time to dodge or counterattack once again, Gible was struck with a powerful Dragon Claw, with sent him plummeting to the ground.. However, he soon stood back up, injured but still ready to fight.

I soon noticed that Gible seemed to be charging or focusing his energy into one spot before he released Draco Meteor into the sky which rained towards Jangmo-o who stared impressed at the sight.

"Dodge as many as you can, use Dragon Claw to counter where possible!" I shouted watching as Jangmo-o just barely managed to dodge the meteor shower, however, I noticed one was heading right towards him.

"Above you, Dragon Claw!"

Without even looking he used Dragon Claw and broke apart the meteor which almost struck him on the head, which would have ended the battle immediately.

Seeing that Draco Meteor had missed, seemed to shock Gible to stared open mouthed at Jangmo-o who stared confidently back at him.

"Wrap the battle up! Use Dragon Tail!"

Dragon Tail would ordinarily switch an opponents Pokemon out however, in a one on one battle it just did damage and thanks to the Screech, Gible's defence had been lowered so Dragon Tail did even more damage.

When the smoke cleared, Gible was clearly unconscious and Jangmo-o was jumping around excitedly at his victory.

I rushed over to Gible and sprayed a Potion on him recovering him to full health and Jangmo-o rushed in to get some praise from me.

"Good work you two! You both battled really well!" Gible thanked me by jumping and biting my head like usual, "I like you too Gible but could you please let go off my head now please?"

When Gible eventually released me, I kneeled to Jangmo-o and petted his head, something he seemed to enjoy a lot.

"Gible I didn't know you knew Draco Meteor, that's quite the impressive Dragon Type move there" I commented rather impressed at Gible mastering such a powerful move.

Gible grinned thanking me as Buizel soon approached from where he was watching.

"Gible and Jangmo-o two impressive Dragon Types there that's for sure!" He smirked his thumbs up towards me.

"I agree completely, those two are quite impressive that's for sure!" I agreed.

Soon enough Jangmo-o wanted to battle once again, "I feel it, I'm close to evolving, I'm sure, another battle and I'll evolve and be a step closer to my goal."

At that he turned towards Buizel, "how about you Buizel want to have a battle too?"

Buizel smirked nodding his head before he took Gible's place on the battlefield as Gible moved to watch from a distance again.

"Same rules as before, everybody ready?" Jangmo-o and Buizel nodded eagerly.

"Battle start!"

Immediately Buizel started by jumping high into the air, his tail glowing white as he launched several Sonic Boom's right at Jangmo-o. "Jangmo-o counter each one by using Dragon Claw!"

Each Sonic Boom was completely destroyed by repeated Dragon Claw's. Seeing his attacks getting blocked continuously, Buizel changed his strategy.

Buizel used Water Gun, though if it made contact it wouldn't be very effective against a Dragon Type however, "use Screech" the power of Screech destroyed the Water Gun as Buizel managed to cover his ears once again.

However, Buizel managed to overcome the Screech and surrounded himself in water, using Aqua Jet, "use Dragon Claw and block that move", however, Buizel was too fast and landed several hits on Jangmo-o.

Jangmo-o eventually countered with Dragon Claw and both Pokemon were sent back, Jangmo-o began breathing heavily, obviously exhausted from the repeated damage that he had taken.

Buizel decided to finish the battle, with an unexpected and dangerous move for Jangmo-o. His fist began glowing blue making me shocked, "that's Ice Punch, Jangmo-o you need to dodge that move!"

However, Jangmo-o was completely exhausted and just couldn't move, however, just as Buizel was about to land an attack, Jangmo-o began glowing blue and began changing shape, I'll admit seeing evolutions never gets any better.

Jangmo-o began changing body shape, to the point he was now bipedal. Eventually the glow faded and a completely new Pokemon was born.

Grabbing my Pokedex I scanned the evolved form of Jangmo-o. "Hakamo-o the scaly Pokemon, a Dragon and Fighting Type. Hakamo-o before attacking it's enemies, it clashes it's scales together and roars. It's sharp claws shred the opposition."

Putting the Pokedex away, I cheered in excitement, as Hakamo-o observed his body, it must be strange having a completely different body shape so it would take time getting used to.

"Lets finish the battle!" Hakamo-o shouted to me, getting me back in the game, as Buizel used Aqua Jet to try and finish Hakamo-o off.

"Use Dragon Claw!" Thanks to the evolution, Hakamo-o's new power allowed it to knock Buizel out with a single blow.

Once again, I rushed towards Buizel and sprayed a Potion to help him recover his strength and energy.

"You battled really well Buizel, I'm quite impressed" I turned towards Hakamo-o in excitement, "It's great that you evolved Hakamo-o, how do you feel?"

Hakamo-o glanced down at his body, observing everything he could before he lunged towards me and wrapped me up in a hug, before he lifted me off the floor with his newfound strength.

"This new body feels different, but a good different that's for sure. One more to go and soon you'll have me ready for you." I blushed at that comment remembering his desire for mating me when he was evolved fully.

After all the battling we all decided to take a break for the rest of the day and continue training another day.
