Chapter Four

"Addictions and Revenge"

By

Furry Sith Lord

Hueman hadn't moved in hours since he was told his friend Joshua had been killed. The elders believed that The Great Alpha Gawd had judged the boy unworthy and had kill him. Hueman was beside himself with grief and he was confused why had the boy been killed after all the times he had prayed for him to get better. He wondered if that was how Gawd had answered the prayer.

BH sat at his side waiting patiently and the sadistic side of him was enjoying the boy's suffering. His plan had worked perfectly except that Sickly Sam's blood was so polluted that he dared not eat it for fear of it making him sick. He did feel a bit of guilt but he kept telling himself it was a mercy killing because the kid was suffering from diabetes and they had no clue how to treat it. They boy would be dead in a couple days anyway but this way he saved the lad from suffering up until the end.

Tears streamed down Hueman's face as they carried the body away to be buried. BH turned and licked the tears.

"The bitter tears of my enemy are the sweetest thing to eat." BH said but he knew the boy had no clue what he was saying.

"Good boy, Woof Woof. I miss Joshua too!" Hueman said as he began to pet BH. Everytime the boy's hand touched his fur he had to fight the urge to bite the hand off.

One of the elders approached and sat on the ground next to Hueman and BH. He was an older man that had eyes turning white due to cataracts. He was using a cane to help him walk around without hurting himself but he could no longer see anything clear and everyone was looking like ghosts to him. Sean had been one of the friendlier elders to interact with Hueman.

"A moment of your time, Hueman." He said forcefully yet he kept his voice soft and nonthreatening. Hueman nodded as he continued crying and BH had stopped lickimng the tasty tears as he tried to figure out why the older hairless ape had joined them.

"There are growing concerns as to why several of our people have died after being attacked by some unseen animal. While many believe it is Gawd's will that is doing it there are... questions that keep coming up. We feel that you may need to go on a vision quest to seek his will and find the answers we need.

BH watched the boy nod his head even though he didn't say anything. He guessed the boy agreed with whatever the old man had said to him. The old man reached out his hand and BH reacted by biting down firmly but not hard enough to break the skin. He wanted to keep up the lie that he was the boy's pet and protector so that no one would think that he was the murderer. At least not until it was time for him to make his escape.

He made note of the old man's scent as he thought about making him the new victim. He seemed healthy enough with only his age the only sign of weakness. At least his blood didn't smell polluted and for some strange reason BH felt himself getting the shakes since it had been over a day since he last tasted hairless ape blood. He was starting to suspect he might be addicted to the taste much like a drug addict. This was now forcing him to make the escape so he could get treatment before his addiction became worse. He knew of junkies that had ruined their lives because of what they craved and though he never thought he could become addicted to blood, there was something about the taste of hairless ape blood that made him crave it.

"Gawd has chosen well to pick this animal as your protector. He has really bonded with you." Sean said calmly and as he slowly tried to retract his hand BH reluctantly released him but kept a steady watch on the blinded old man.

"Let the other know I'll leave tonight to go on the vision quest. I too seek answers from Gawd." Huemas said as he used his hand to try and remove the tears maring his vision.

"I'll leave you to it then." he replied and Sean used his stick to help him rise to leave the boy in peace. BH watched the old man leave and now that he had gotten his scent he decided the old man and Hueman's mothers would be his victims. He would limit it to those two then make his escape. He feared if he didn't limit himself to just two then his cravings would make him never want to leave but he just feared he didn't know where the nearest city was that he could flee to to find help.

He suddenly noticed the boy had stopped crying and his sadness was replaced by something new. He now smelled of determination and BH wondered what the old man said. The boy yanked on the least and he obediently followed him back to their home. When they arrived the boy's mother was waiting patiently.

"Did Sean speak to you?" she asked

"Yes and I've decided... I'm leaving tonight." He said firmly and he lowered her head.

"It's for the best." She said solemnly.

"I agree because I have questions too that I'd like Gawd to answer."

"Just because you're special doesn't mean you're greater than Gawd. His ways are greater than our own and he will tell us what we need to know when it's time." She replied. BH heard them keep saying the word 'Gawd' and they kept saying it verimently. He wondered what it meant and why it seemed important to them. Was it a person? Maybe part of some sacred belief they have? A sacred object? He really wished he knew more than a couple of words so he could know what they were up to.

"I know Mama."

"Good. Do you know what you need?" She asked after she hugged him briefly.

"I must fast so other than water maybe some bones for Woof Woof." BH perked up his head as he heard the name they called him. What were they planning to do with him?

"I'll fetch it for you." She said and hurried off.

"We leave tonight boy," Hueman said.

Bh was surprised at how dark it was outside as Hueman led him out of the house. He looked up and saw the millions of stars shining and he realized it had been a long time since he stared at the night sky. He had forgotten how peaceful it looked and how relaxed he felt when he watched it.

The hairless apes held torches as they gathered around outside and BH felt that something was definitely wrong. Had they figured out he was the one murdering them? He knew something was up when Hueman grabbed his leash and was taking him outside but never said the word 'walk' to him. So the kid wasn't taking him to water the trees but he now wondered what was going on.

Hueman was given a wrapped up bundle and a waterskin as they kept saying 'Gawd Bless.' to him. There was that word again, Gawd! What were they going on about? Hueman led him as they walked through the crowd and the boy was handed a torch to light the way as they stopped following him. He was leading BH out into the forest and the lad looked as if they were going on a journey. Was that the meaning of that word?

The started walking up a hill and by this time he was convinced the word Gawd meant either journey, forest, or hill. They were a strange species with weird ways of talking to each other. It was a wonder they had even survived at all with their primitive thinking. There are still packs of predators that live a part of the civilized world and they hunt in the wild and live outdoors but the hairless apes are more prudish that the most concervative prudes.

Hueman led them to the utmost part of the hill and tied the leash to a tree and he collected rocks. The boy was arranging the stones making a circle out of them then he sat in the center of it. The water and the bundle he had brought, which smelled of beef scraps and bones, were placed next to the tree for him to guard. The boy seemed to be meditating as BH sat there watching him.

BH sat honing his senses to see what he could detect around him. He wanted to make sure the hairless apes weren't gonna sneak up on him to check on the boy. While he watched him sit in the circle he devised plans on how to murder him. He was still torn between giving him a quick death, like he did to his other victims, or how he could make him suffer.

He was tired of the humiliation he was suffering from them. Being shaved to have his fur used to make them clothing and dragged around the village in his skin with everyone staring at how humiliated he is. Laughing at him when he pisses because he needs to ask permission of the boy before he is allowed to water the trees. Being forced to watch them masterbate or fuck out in public when he had no interest in watching their vile bodies. These creatures have no shame or dignity.

His thoughts were interrupted as the boy began saying something but it was still nonsensical to him.

"Great Alpha, Gawd of our fathers. Come speak to me now." Hueman said as he sat there with his eyes closed and he waited for Gawd to come visit him. He was getting frustrated that nothing was happening and that Gawd had not appeared yet. He was starting to get distracted as the horizon was lightning as the sun was getting ready to rise. They had been out here for hours now and even BH had nodded off a few times while they waited.

"Gawd, where are you? I need you so badly. Please come, I need the answers that only you can give." Hueman cried out and BH woke groggily at the boy's cries as he cried out towards the sky. BH rubbed his eyes as the approaching light was ruining his night vision.

Hours later BH felt miserable from the lack of sleep and he was getting really hungry since they hadn't had breakfast yet. He finally gave up and reached into the bag and took out one of the bones to chew on. The tiny bits of meat were now dried and were a little harder to chew than beef jerky. The boy on the other paw still hadn't eaten as he remained meditating and he still was crying something towards the sky but it still made no sense. It was no wonder he was being ignored because he didn't know how to talk properly.

BH turned his attention back on the boy as the lad was looking at a grasshopper jumping around. BH was unimpressed but wondering why the boy was so interested in the bug.

"So tiny and so small yet it still is a part of Gawd's plan." Hueman said softly to himself. "I could kill it and end it's life but what good would that accomplish? A grasshopper is nothing but it's the locusts that should be feared. Could this grasshopper be a sign that locusts are coming? Is this Gawd warning us of an impending doom?!" Hueman rose and left the circle to pick up the grasshopper. The insect tried to get away but the boy was quick and he gathered the insect and brought it back into the circle with him.

"A warning! Signs are all around us and we must listen if we want to avoid the evil that is coming. Yes Gawd I understand." Hueman said as BH watched him play with the grasshopper. He wondered if the boy had found a new pet to play with. It looked like the boy was talking to it but the insects were not intelligent at all. No matter how much he used words like 'Gawd' and 'walk' and 'good boy' the insect had no intellect to understand them.

"Hueman, I look forward to killing you." BH said and the boy looked at him as he said the lad's name.

"What is it boy? Do you want something?" Hueman asked but BH just stared at him. The boy released the insect and it fled as the lad stepped out of the circle and took a drink of water.

"I'm pretty sure I could kill you now and no one would know or find out about it." BH continued.

"Woof Woof, you now and no one would know or find out about it." Hueman said as he imitated the barking noises that BH had made.

"Does he know what I'm saying?" BH asked himself as he tilted his head as he looked at the boy.

"Release me and I'll let you live!" BH demanded.

"You live you know no one knew you live kill I could." Hueman replied as he still copided the barking BH was doing. BH caught on that he was just repeating the noises he heard and wasn't actually trying to have a conversation.

BH was surprised that the other members of the shrewdness had not come to collect the boy yet. He just kept going in and out of the circle and shouting at the sky. He wondered if the kid had been crying out because he was abandoned by his people and perhaps the word Gawd meant abandon. The boy seemed miserable so maybe being exiled by his people was tormenting him as he waited to die.

BH reached up and began to untie the collar they made him wear. He was still going to be careful and wait a little bit longer just to be safe but if they had been abandoned/ Gawd then whatever he decided to do to the boy wouldn't matter to anyone.

At some point in the afternoon BH had decided that no one was coming to check on them and the boy had been cast out of the shrewdness. He was not going to remain here while the child waited to die so he felt it was time to take action.

He rose and silently walked up behind Hueman then attached the collar and leash onto his neck. It took the boy a second to realize what was happening but as he reached up to remove the collar to prevent BH from tying it on, BH made a fist and beat him across his face.

"No!" BH screamed at him and the boy looked at him with fear in his eyes. "That's a word you better get used to really quick." BH finished tying on the collar and added a few extra knots to the weaving of it so the lad couldn't remove it on his own. BH had been a cub scout so he knew how to tie some of the best knots compared to these primitive fools.

He turned and looked at the boy and began to rip off the animal fur he wore as clothing. He especially enjoyed removing his fur that had been turned into pants. Hueman blushed as he stood there collared wearing nothing but his skin. The boy moved his hands towards his penis and BH yelled at him and smacked the hand.

"No!" BH said not really knowing if the boy was trying to hide his member or to masterbate it. Either way BH did not want to take a chance. Even though the boy was almost a full adult yet still too young to fully be considered one, BH was determined to put him in his place after everything he had done.

"Walk!" BH pulled him over to the tree and shouted in the boy's language. He stared in fear as he looked around frantically. BH grabbed the boy and pushed him next to the tree.

"Walk!" He shouted louder and the boy got the idea and he watered the tree. BH wanted him to relieve himself now and not bother him as they were trying to make their escape. Once the boy finished he patted his head lovingly the same way the boy had done to him. It was time for the boy to get a taste of what it felt like when he had done the same thing to him.

BH pugged on the leash and as they started walking he noticed the boy was walking upright. He quickly slapped the boy and pointed to the ground. The lad caught on and he knelt down on his hands and knees. He tugged on the leash and kept punishing the lads vuntil he caught on to the idea that he was to walk on his hands and knees. He lovingly patted the boy's head when he finally caught on and obeyed.

He led the boy in the same direction they had been traveling when the first left the village in hopes to find civilization. The boy had tried talking in the nonsense language of his but everytime he spoke he was punished with another sharp blow from BH. He wanted to make sure Hueman realized he was not going to talk his way out of this one. Not that it would do any good since neither really understood each other. He just needed the boy to realize that he was now in charge and Hueman was his pet!

They traveled for several days until at last BH saw a city and pulled Hueman upright and allowed him to run on two feet so they could quickly get there. By this time Hueman's palms and his knees were bloodied from using them to walk on.

Hueman was malnourished from the journey because any food BH caught he ate himself and fed the boy slave the scraps. It was the same manner as he had been fed and he wanted the boy to feel what it was like.

Several species in the city gasped and cried out in shock as they saw him and the hairless ape boy being dragged on a leash enter the city. BH spoke the common tongue to anyone he saw asking them for help. Most just ran away unsure of what to make of them.

"What's the meaning of this?!" A couple of police officers asked as they cautiously approached them.

"Officers, you have to help me!" BH pleaded and the officers relaxed a little as they approached. BH went into a long explanation about how he had been taken prisoner by the hairless apes and how he had escaped. The second officer took a couple of blankets out of their car and gave them to BH and Hueman.

"So hairless apes are still alive?! The officer asked as they watched Hueman pull the blanket over him like a tarp while BH had wrapped his around his body.

"It's true officer that was why I took the boy as a hostage to prove it's true." BH said.

"This is big! When species find out... wow this is big." The officer replied.

"I think there is a doctor at the university that should be consulted. I believe he's both an anthropologist and a vet. He should check the boy out. You both may need medical attention. They said as they saw the blood on Hueman.

"Is there any way I can get some clothes too? I prefer not to look like a homeless one." BH said and the officer led them to sit in the back of their vehicle.

"Don;'t worry we'll sort this out when we get back to the station."

"Ears and Tails, I can't believe it! A real life hairless ape!" The second officer remarked and he took out his cell phone and took a selfie of him next to Hueman.

"Please, what's going on?" Hueman cried and the officers looked at him and laughed.

"You guys hear him? Ooh ooh aah ooh," They started laughing again.

"Watch this," BH said as he took the blanket away from Hueman, leaving the boy to stand in his skins in front of them.

"Hueman, walk!" BH shouted in the boy's language and Hueman looked around then began to pee on himself. They looked at him in amazement.

"Wow, they can learn tricks! I wonder what else they can learn?"

"You were their prisoner?" The officer asked him.

"Well they outnumbered me so I figured I better play along. I had no idea what was going on with them." BH said. The three of them turned as they saw Hueman crying as he sat in his puddle of piss. BH grabbed the blanket and wiped up the urine then patted the boy on his head.

"Good boy," BH said in the hairless ape language. Hueman had said it numerous times to him so he figured it was his turn to say it back to the lad.

"Woof woof, please..." Hueman cried out and the three looked at each other again.

"Is he trying to talk like a canine?"

"It's the name they called me. I tried teaching him my name and that was the best he could come up with. I mean they are pretty primitive so it shouldn't surprise anyone that all they do is try to mimic what they hear.

BH and Hueman were in a conference room at the police station. BH now wore a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt they had found for him. He was starting to feel like his old self now that he had clothes to wear but he still felt a little embarrassed about having to freeball it. They had no underwear for him.

Hueman was curled up in a ball in the corner as the room frightened him. He had never seen lights like these nolr cement walls before. They had tried dressing him but he was afraid of their touch and fought back. They left him in his skin and waited for the specialist to arrive. BH had removed the rope collar and leash from the boy's neck to help relax him.

A well dignified chimpanzee entered as officers led him inside. He was wearing a grey colored suit that was enhanced by his black fur. And he placed his briefcase on the table BH sat at.

"I am Dr. Avam from the Helsing Institute. You are?" He asked as BH rose and shook his hand.

"My name is Bloodhound but most species call me BH for short."

"You were the one that discovered him?" Dr. Avam asked as he pointed at Hueman who was in the fetal position on the floor.

"In a manner of speaking. I was captured by his people and I grabbed him as I made my escape."

"So there is a whole shrewdness of hairless apes?" Dr. Avram asked incredulously.

"Yes but he is the only one with white skin among them. The rest are dark skinned."

"Fascinating," Dr. Avram remarked and he cautiously went over to Hueman and knelt down a few feet away. Hueman uncovered his face and looked at the doctor with tears in his eyes.

"Hi there, can you understand me?" Dr, Avram asked in the common language. The boy looked at him blankly and Dr. Avram smile at him to help him relax. He then spoke to him using the chimpanzee language and the boy flinched then said something back to him. BH watched as it looked as if they were having a conversation.

Finally Dr. Avram rose and spoke in the common language to BH.

"Do you still have the clothes they brought?" he asked and BH pulled out a chair that had the pile placed on them folded nicely. The doctor took them and went over and dressed the boy. Hueman didn't resist in any way but let the doctor put the clothing on him.

"Could you actually talk to him?" BH asked.

"Barely maybe a word or two but their entire species are so separated from the rest of primates that I don't believe there is anyone to actually speak their language." Dr. Avram removed a red collar from his briefcase and put it on the boy.

"You will obey me," he said in the common language then he said it in primate. The boy cried even more but the doctor patted his head and held him like a parent would a child.

"So what happens to him now?" BH asked.

"I have a research area that he'll be taken to so we can conduct examinations into his species. With time I hope to teach him the common language and learn more of his own so that we may possibly make contact with his people later on."

"Didn't his species disown him?" BH asked.

"Actually no, he was sent on a spiritual quest to get answers from their Great Alpha. Oh and he says you're a bad dog, by the way."

"Oh I'm so heartbroken," BH mocked.

"Since you have some sort of connection to the boy, would you be willing to help assist me?" Dr. Avram asked as he raised an eyebrow and looked at BH.

"Well... I..."
