Even Digital Beings Can Feel Love and Lust

Within the Knothole base, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters stood before their main computer. On the screen of the monitor was Nicole the Lynx; a major ally of the Freedom Fighters. Her expression was that of worry, and seeing that made the Freedom Fighters also appear worried, especially their princess, Sally.

"Nicole, you seem troubled", Sally said. "What's wrong?"

"Terrible news, Sally", Nicole replied. "It appears that Dr. Robotnik has sent a virus our way. And if it's not stopped, it could not only infect the whole mainframe, but may even steal all of our important data."

"Damn that Eggman", Sonic swore suddenly. "Just when you think he couldn't get any worse."

"How can we stop it, Nicole", Sally asked with worry.

Before the digital feline could respond with an answer, she lowered her head as if she were in shame. But she wasn't; she actually went deep into thought. There was only one solution for getting rid of that virus, and she decided that she's the only one capable. Opening her eyes as she raised her head, Nicole was ready to give Sally her answer.

"I think I might just be able to destroy that virus, before it gets any closer to our mainframe", Nicole answered. "With my abilities and my new power from my father; I just might destroy that virus in an instant."

"Are you sure, Nicole?"

Sally was still pretty concerned and was more so worried about Nicole. Just the idea of the digital lynx fighting something of Robotnik's on her own for the first time scared her. If things were to go very bad for her, she and other Freedom Fighters wouldn't be able to see Nicole again.

"It just might be too risky. Maybe you should hold off, and we can all come up with an idea."

"I'm aware of the risks, Sally, but I'm the only one capable of stopping this", Nicole responded back. "I just need your trust in me, Sally, to do this."

Just like what Nicole had done prior, Sally went deep into her own thoughts. Sonic and the other Freedom Fighters focused their attention on the chipmunk; waiting for her response. As she thought about it, Sally knew that she could trust the digital lynx to handle it; she's known Nicole for a long time, after all. After taking a deep breath, Sally raised her head and brought her attention to Nicole.

"Ok Nicole, I fully trust you to stop that virus", Sally said. She gave the digital feline a warm smile, as proof of her trust in Nicole. "Just promise me that you'll be ok."

"I promise", Nicole replied back. Just like the chipmunk, she sent her a warm smile. After she said those words, the computer suddenly went completely black, and Nicole was gone. But she wasn't really gone, Nicole was just in cyberspace. With a serious expression on her face, she flew off into the direction of Robotnik's virus.

In what seemed to be only about ten minutes for her, Nicole had come upon the virus. Seeing as it was a creation of Robotnik's, it had the doctor's face, and a robotic looking body. With the virus having seen the lynx, it proceeded to sprout tentacles from its back. With the appendages aimed at Nicole, an eerie glow was coming from the tips. Seeing that, Nicole prepared herself, as her hands gave off their own glow. The tentacles attacked; sending out laser beams at Nicole's general direction. In reaction, the lynx sent her hands forward; forming a green barrier around to protect herself, which simultaneously disintegrated the laser beams.

"I won't allow you to get near the Freedom Fighters' mainframe."

Seemingly angry, the Robotnik Virus sent its tentacles out to attack the lynx. Being within cyberspace allowed for Nicole to easily dodge every swipe that came her way. And as she dodged the tendrils, Nicole materialized green energy orbs within her hands; throwing them at the tentacles. One by one, the lynx disintegrated a tentacle with her energy orbs, until there were none left. Taking a cue from Sonic - upon landing on what could be considered a ground - the lynx smirked at the virus. Angered by this, the Robotnik Virus let out a roar that shook up cyberspace.

With its arms raised, it sprouted out more tentacles from its back, and immediately planted them into the ground. Suddenly, tendrils that gave off an eerie aura around sprouted from the ground; further messing up cyberspace, as the whole place was starting to glitch out. One of the tendrils made an attempt to attack Nicole, but the lynx quickly back flipped in time to avoid the attack. Upon landing, Nicole used her powers to materialize a trident within her hands. Now going on the offensive, Nicole charged herself forward towards the tentacles; slicing and dicing every single one that emerged from the ground. As she was getting closer to the virus, the lynx materialized and threw another energy orb; this time at the virus's face. Using that as a means of a distraction, the lynx jumped herself high enough into the air, in range with the virus's face. Clutching onto her trident, Nicole was ready to make a final strike to the virus's head.

"I'm putting all of my power into this attack", Nicole said. "I'LL FINISH YOU RIGHT HERE AND NOW, DR. ROBOTNIK!"

"Did you really think you could stop me and my plans so easily?"

Nicole was shocked. That sudden voice had come from the virus, and it sounded exactly like the mad doctor. As the smoke cleared from around the virus's face after the lynx's attack, its eyes glowed red, as it glared at the feline. Suddenly - right from under her - another tentacle had emerged from the ground; immediately coiling itself around the lynx's body. Nicole was at a loss of words; she could've sworn that she had gotten rid of all the tentacles. But the fact that the virus could talk, showed that it had a level of intelligence. While the lynx used her attack for a distraction, the virus must have seen that coming and used Nicole's attempt at another attack against her. While she was distracted herself, the Robotnik Virus planned a surprise attack. Now with Nicole within its clutches, the virus proceeded to give the lynx an electric shock from its tentacle.

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Nicole screamed out in pain from the shock. And with her being a digital being, it was made all the more worse, as she hypothesized that she was also being infected. Her fears seemed to come to light, as her body began to glitch out. Just seeing her in pain put the virus in such delight, that it let out a menacing evil laugh at the lynx's expense. Nicole even tried to free herself from the virus's clutches, but it was all in vain. She couldn't even think straight, but there was one thought that lingered within her head.

"Just promise me that you'll be ok."

"I'm sorry...Sally", Nicole thought. "I won't be able to keep my promise. I've...failed at completing my mission."

As Nicole was starting to lose all hope, it appeared that she was about to give up. With her body continually glitching out, she felt every bit of her life starting to disappear. She was honestly scared; she was now knowing what it felt like coming to the verge of death.

"LANDLIZER!"

From out of nowhere, there was another voice that shouted out. It sounded so different from the Robotnik Virus, but who could it have belonged to? But upon what sounded like an attack, the tendril that held Nicole had suddenly been sliced to bits; freeing the lynx. As Nicole's very being was falling, she landed within the hands of the being that saved her. Opening her eyes slowly, Nicole gazed upon the person who saved her. From what she could make out, the person appeared to be a shirtless, yellow rabbit with a large tuft of white fur covering his chest. His face and his abdomen were brown in color, and his eyes were ruby red. Just looking at him made Nicole blush, which surprised her. And just the way she was being held in hands made her feel like a princess in the hands of a prince.

"Are you ok", he asked. His voice sounded so mature, yet soft. Nicole couldn't find the words to say, so she only nodded her head. Seeing that from the lynx made the rabbit smile, but it was brief, as he remembered why he came to cyberspace; glaring at the Robotnik Virus. "I heard the sounds of attacks, so I came here to see what it was", the rabbit said. "I thought it might have been another Digimon, or even an Appmon that was the cause of those attacks, so I came here to stop it."

Listening to the words that were coming from the rabbit's mouth, left the lynx in confusion. "Digimon? Appmon? What is he talking about", she mentally questioned. "No only that, but where did he come from, and how did he get in here?" But she couldn't just continue to rest in his hands and think, as the Robotnik Virus was just about to attack again. The Robotnik Virus was angry at the rabbit for what he had done to it prior. With one of its sharp claws, the virus sent it at the duo. With his quick reflexes, the rabbit held onto Nicole firmly, as he jumped himself back to avoid the attack. Upon landing, the rabbit carefully placed Nicole onto the ground.

Nicole was now able to have a better look at her savior. For a rabbit, his tail was much larger than how a rabbit's tail usually looks, and his long ears looked like sharp arrows. His attire was nothing, but some orange gloves, black pants - with a large orange cuff at the top - that even covered his feet, and a small black belt that held his ears into a ponytail. Having another look at his abdomen, Nicole started blushing again, as she gazed at his six-pack abs.

"Excuse me, but...just...who are you", Nicole asked.

The rabbit didn't have time to answer the lynx's question. With his eyes focused on the Robotnik Virus, he noticed it raised its other arm for another attack. Choosing not to let the virus have its way and just attack them, the rabbit charged himself forward towards the menace. Seeing that, the virus decided to target the rabbit; bringing its claws to him. The rabbit was quick to dodge the attack, and get himself closer with the virus's presence.

"JIVE!"

Aiming at the virus's body, the rabbit sent a series of rapid kicks at the virus's body. The force of his attacks were pushing the virus back; practically throwing it off balance. Upon ending his barrage of kicks at the virus, the rabbit backflipped himself back to Nicole's side. He eyed the lynx and gave her a smile.

"I'm Symbare Angoramon."

"Symbare...Angoramon?!"

Before the two could even engage themselves into a nice conversation, the sudden sound of roaring brought their attention back to the virus. Recovering its balance, the Robotnik Virus was preparing another attack for the duo. This time, its claws were giving off an eerie glow, before shooting them out like missiles at the two. By the time Nicole got herself back onto her feet, Symbare Angoramon brought his hands out forward.

"BREAKIN' STREAM!"

As if like magic, a strong gust of wind appeared from the rabbit's hands; aimed at the virus. The strong gust of wind not only stopped and got rid of the claws that were fired at them, but it also ended up knocking the virus off balance again. Seeing the Robotnik Virus in a vulnerable state, Nicole saw that opportunity as the perfect chance to attack. Like she had done prior, the lynx re-materialized her trident into her hands.

"Please; don't stop what you're doing", Nicole asked. "The virus is incapable of attacking back. This is the best opportunity for me to destroy it."

Listening to the lynx, Symbare Angoramon didn't end his attack. He gave a quick nod of his head. "Understood", he said. He then seemingly put more force into his attack; making sure the Robotnik Virus wouldn't be able to catch its bearings.

With the rabbit doing his part, Nicole proceeded to run herself over to the virus's side. Just like before - upon getting closer to it - the lynx jumped herself into the air. Firmly holding onto her trident, Nicole raised her trident high into the air, as she was ready to strike the virus. A little spark appeared on one of its sharp points.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH", she shouted.

And just like that, Nicole had stabbed her trident into the virus's head. Not only that, but she was moving downwards along the virus's body; tearing it open with her trident, until she reached ground level. At that point, Symbare Angoramon ended his own attack.

Upon being split down the middle, just like any of Robotnik's robots, the virus was sparking as if it were an actual robot. Just as Nicole brought herself onto her feet and began to walk off, the virus exploded. The force of it ended up blowing the lynx forward; ending back up in the arms of Symbare Angoramon. With their eyes locked onto each other, the rabbit gave Nicole another smile, causing the lynx to blush again.

"Um...thanks for catching me again."

A light chuckle had escaped from the rabbit's mouth. "It was my pleasure", he replied, as he helped Nicole onto her feet. "By the way, you never did get to introduce yourself to me."

"Oh...I'm Nicole...and I..." Upon introducing herself, Nicole wasn't able to continue what she was going to say. "Ngh!" Like what happened to her while in the Robotnik Virus's clutches, Nicole's body began glitching again. It appeared that she was about to fall over, until Symbare Angoramon caught her. Just looking at how her body was glitching out, made the rabbit concerned about the lynx's wellbeing.

"Oh no; you're injured", Symbare Angoramon said in a worried tone. "Looks like a virus infection..." With Nicole already held in his arms, Symbare Angoramon picked her up; holding the lynx bridle style. "But don't worry; I know of an appmon that can help you."

The scene had changed to what seemed to be the inside of a hospital. Symbare Angoramon sat outside in the hallway of an operating room; a stern look was present on his face. His ears twitched upon hearing the sound of the door opening. He immediately stood on his feet; a smile appeared on his face, as he saw a much healthier looking Nicole walk out from the room. Alongside her was the appmon that cured her of the virus she was infected with; Medicmon.

"The patient is a-ok", Medicmon said; giving Symbare Angoramon a thumbs up. "I've completely removed the virus that was causing this person grief." Turning their head to face the lynx, Medicmon grabbed the lynx's hands; giving her a pack of pills. "Now, Nicole; if you find yourself feeling sick, or if the virus is coming back, just take these and you'll feel better."

"Thank you", Nicole said, as she bowed her head. "And I will."

"I must say, Nicole - just from scanning your data - you're a very unusual digimon", Medicmon said. Their eyelids then lowered, as they brought a hand over to their head; giving off the impression they were thinking. "Or...are you another appmon?"

"Oh...I'm...neither", Nicole said. Her answer surprised both Medicmon and Symbare Angoramon. "I'm an artificial intelligence; created and entrusted to help Princess Sally from my world."

"I see", Symbare Angoramon said. "You're a being of the real world." Upon hearing the words that came from the rabbit's mouth, Nicole let out another gasp.

The scene had once again changed; this time at what seemed to be a small, outdoor restaurant. Sitting at one of the tables, the two continued to converse amongst themselves. Symbare Angoramon explained to the lynx exactly where she was; seeing as she was no longer in cyberspace. Everything that was told to her just astounded her, as she checked her surroundings.

"This is all so amazing", Nicole said in amazement. "To think that there's a whole world like this inside of the computer."

The rabbit couldn't help, but chuckle at the lynx's words. "Well, we aren't necessarily inside of a computer", he said. "The Digital World is actually parallel to yours. And despite the name of this world, everything is as real as it would be in the real world."

Nicole's eyes practically sparkled; just the very idea of her being able to do things she normally couldn't was about to be realized. And if there was one thing she really wanted to do, it was to actually eat food. Realizing where she was at, she recognized that she was a restaurant that her real friends would go at to eat. Seeing it through Sally's handheld computer always made her envious, but now she can finally experience eating at one.

"Just to be sure; we are at a restaurant, right?"

Once again, Symbare Angoramon let out a chuckle. "Yes we are", he answered. "I figured you might be hungry, after being treated." Turning his head back, he pointed at the cook whose head they could see through the small window. "That's Cookmon; an appmon that can cook anything you have a taste for."

"Can he cook chili dogs", Nicole asked with excitement in her voice.

"Yes, they can." Getting up from his seat, the rabbit offered a hand to the lynx. Upon taking it, Symbare Angoramon walked Nicole and himself over to the Cookmon. Tapping on the window, the appmon was alerted by the digimon, and briefly ceased what they were cooking. A smile appeared across their face, as they gazed upon the digimon, and the lynx.

"Yes; is there something I can help you both with?"

Not wasting any time, Nicole asked the appmon if they could cook a chili dog for her. Before the appmon could respond back, Symbare Angoramon put in the order for there to be two chili dogs; immediately paying them. With a smirk on their face, Cookmon took the digimon's money.

"Such a very, simple dish", Cookmon said. "I will have it done in a jiffy, and your tastebuds will be in Heaven."

Nicole was very excited, while Symbare Angoramon gave a nod of his head. Taking the lynx's hand, the rabbit brought themselves back to their table. Upon taking their seats again, Cookmon just as immediately came upon the two with a plate holding two chili dogs. Despite how fast they were made, the chili covered hotdogs were still hot. Nicole's eyes sparkled as she gazed down at the dogs; the aroma entering her nostrils surprised her. She could actually smell the chili dogs, and they smell good to her. They even looked like the real chili dogs that Sonic would eat, with the added condiments. The difference was that - unique to Cookmon's cooking - there were small, blue digital bits on them for that extra flavor.

Taking the chili dog into her hands, Nicole could feel how hot it was in her palms. Even just that feeling brought excitement to the lynx, and now she just had to taste it. As she brought the dog closer to her mouth, she braced herself for that very moment, and then she bit down on it. Immediately, her eyes sparkled, as a euphoric feeling of deliciousness was rushing throughout her throat.

"Oh my God", Nicole said slowly. "This is delicious; absolutely delicious. No wonder Sonic loves these so much."

Nicole went back to eating the chili dog. She didn't go wild with it; choosing to eat the dog in a lady-like manner. Meanwhile, Symbare Angoramon remained composed, while the lynx went through her little episode. Seeing how she was acting, he could tell this was her first time eating a chili dog. The digimon mentally chuckled, while a warm smile stayed consistent on his face. It took the two a few minutes to finish their chili dogs; the two using their remaining time to just relax for a bit.

"I can see that you were really enjoying yourself", Symbare Angoramon broke the silence.

"Oh yes", Nicole responded simply. "Just being able to simply eat and feel something I normally couldn't, brought me sheer happiness." Realizing what she was saying to the digimon, a flush of redness reappeared upon the lynx's face. "Oh, I'm sorry; I'm probably sounding very strange right now."

"Not at all", Symbare Angoramon said in a gentle tone. "You are still very new to this, since you've never known you could live like a real person." The yellow rabbit then went into his own thoughts, as he brought his thumb and finger to his chin. An idea came to the digimon's head; something to help Nicole feel like she was in a place she could call home. "How about I show you around the Digital World...the good parts, at least?"

"You would do that for me", Nicole asked in a surprised tone.

"I would be honored", Symbare Angoramon bowed.

And so - hand in hand - the digimon was showing the lynx around some parts of the Digital World. Starting with someplace a bit relaxing, Symbare Angoramon took Nicole to a beach; not far from the restaurant they were at. The lynx's eyes sparkled, as she gazed upon the glistening water of the ocean. She ran towards the ocean and immediately put her hands into it; amazed at just the feeling of it. It was there that she was also introduced to the Gomamon; one of which splashed water into her face. The lynx didn't mind, though, as she chuckled soon after; the Gomamon joining her. Symbare Angoramon was standing back from where he and the lynx entered; snickering as he watched the feline having fun.

The next place Symbare Angoramon took Nicole was a city. To the lynx, it appeared very similar to what she's seen of Metropolis Zone, but more cybernetic. She saw many digimon and appmon going about the city like real people; working and having fun in their own way. She was even surprised to see the Digital World even have a casino where digimon and appmon were gambling at. And while within the city, Symbare Angoramon brought himself and Nicole over to a flower shop run by a Rosemon. The rabbit bought some roses from the digimon to give to Nicole; the lynx immediately smelling them.

Another place - which was also the last - was an amusement park. Since the two had plenty of time on their hands, Symbare Angoramon thought the lynx would like to have some fun she never had. Nicole was delighted seeing all of the attractions. Turning her head to the rabbit, Nicole saw that Symbare Angoramon brought a hand to her, as he smiled at her. The lynx's cheeks started becoming red again, as she took hold of the digimon's hand. The two proceeded off to have fun within the park.

Starting things off, the very first ride the two got on was a roller coaster; their screams of excitement joined with the other digimon and appmon that rode it. Afterwards, the two took a relaxing ride on the ferris wheel; looking at the whole park from the very top. Symbare Angoramon would then take Nicole over to a water gun shooting game; the two having a friendly competition. Being an advanced AI, Nicole didn't miss hitting any target, and neither did Symbare Angoramon. The two were pretty much neck in neck with each other. And just for the fun of it, Nicole decided to splash Symbare Angoramon; chuckling afterwards. After shaking his face clean, the digimon splashed the lynx; chuckling afterwards himself. Eventually, the two started shooting water at one another; all while laughing together.

While still having their fun at the park, Nicole and Symbare Angoramon stopped with the attractions for a bit. Going to a stall run by a Daipenmon, the penguin digimon gave the two a cup of rainbow sherbet; consisting of raspberry, lemon, lime, orange, and pineapple flavors. Taking a seat nearby, the two enjoyed their sherbet in delight; having a light conversation. Another stall they went to was a makeup stall; run by the appmon, Beautymon. Instead of having Nicole look like a clown, as what Symbare Angoramon looked like, the appmon instead prettied up the lynx. Nicole's face was smoother and glowing, enough to make even Symbare Angoramon blush.

"How do I look, Symbare Angoramon?"

"Beautiful!"

After cleaning off the clown makeup from his face, the rabbit and lynx took a seat before an easel holding a palette. The appmon known as Drawmon was painting a caricature of the duo. The little green monster would occasionally look away from the palette to look at the rabbit and the lynx, before going back to continue their painting of the duo. By the time they were done, Drawmon showed the duo the painting of them. The painting had Nicole and Symbare Angoramon look like digital pixels of a V-pet toy. The two chuckled upon their eyes gazing at the painting; Drawmon joined in with them.

Going back to the attractions, Nicole and Symbare Angoramon were now walking through a haunted house. The attraction itself seemed to be more inspired by the horrors of western culture, as Bakemon, Black Weregarurumon, and a Vamdemon were the digimon with the job of scaring the guests. Even the appmon, Effecmon, helped to cause some mild danger with the use of their art coming to life to mess with the duo. Symbare Angoramon was only slightly startled, but Nicole was feeling fear for the first time in her life, and she found it to be quite exhilarating.

For a more relaxing attraction after being scared, Nicole and Symbare Angoramon took a ride on what seemed to be the Tunnel of Love. Funnily enough, the attraction was operated by Lilithmon; the Demonlord of Lust. With the duo sitting through a slow and coazy boat ride, the rabbit appeared bored during it, while the lynx was curious about the whole thing. The cheesy songs about love and a meter that seem to rate the affection the two had for one another, made the duo blush in embarrassment. While Nicole already started harboring feelings for the digimon since she first laid her eyes on him, Symbare Angoramon was just starting to harbor feelings for the lynx. Slowly and seemingly out of their control, their hands eventually locked together for the remainder of the ride, until it ended.

With it now dark out, Nicole and Symbare Angoramon were ready to take their leave of the park. Seeing the colorful bright lights of the park at night really amazed the lynx, as she saw how beautiful the place was even more. However, before the duo could actually leave the park, they were stopped by the sounds of explosions. Looking upwards towards the sky, they both saw fireworks going off, and just like prior, Nicole's eyes widened and sparkled. A digimon known as Citrusmon was the one in charge of fireworks; using their exploding fruit bombs to create a colorful show. The look of excitement that was present upon Nicole's face, made Symbare Angoramon smile. He let out an unhearable gasp, as he continued to stare at her; his face becoming red again.

After all of the fun the two had, Symbare Angoramon decided to bring Nicole over to his place, since it was already late. Living in a somewhat small village with other digimon and appmon, the rabbit brought the lynx to a hut of his that was much farther away. What appeared to be a small looking home from the outside, Symbare Angoramon's hut was decently sized on the inside. And since the digimon lived by himself, it wasn't a surprise that there was only one bed. Being the gentleman that he was, the rabbit offered his bed for Nicole to sleep on, while he was going to sleep on the floor.

"I must thank you, Symbare Angoramon, for allowing me to experience exciting and fun things today", Nicole said. "For once in my whole existence, I actually felt like a truly real being."

"You are very welcome, Nicole", Symbare Angoramon bowed. "It was my pleasure to help an advanced AI as yourself, experience the joys of being alive."

The lynx smiled at the digimon; slightly turning her head, as she started to blush again. Getting off the bed she was sitting on, Nicole brought herself over to the rabbit. "You know; from interactions I've seen in the real world, there's this thing called...love", Nicole said. The lynx continued to crawl herself over to the digimon; placing her hands upon the rabbit's abs. "Symbare Angoramon; what I'm getting at is..." Nicole moved her hands slowly upwards along the digimon's abs; touching the tuft of fur that hid his chest, before wrapping her arms around his neck. "...I think...I've fallen in love with you."

Symbare Angoramon was speechless; all he could do at that very moment was utter a gasp. Once again, the rabbit's face became red as he blushed. "Nicole..." The lynx's name was the only thing he was able to say, the feline stopping him from saying anything else, as she locked her mouth with his. "Mmph!" Nicole's eyes were closed, as she experienced her first kiss with Symbare Angoramon. The rabbit's eyes had widened briefly, before he too closed them. Just like the lynx, the digimon was experiencing his very first kiss. Slowly, the digimon wrapped his arms around the lynx's body, as the two lost themselves in their kiss.

The kissing they shared soon went from genuine to full blown frenching, as their tongues locked together. Dancing between their mouths, saliva began to form and run down their mouths. This was such a strange experience for Symbare Angoramon, as he started to feel something bizarre forming from within his pants. By the time the digimon felt a fully formed tent in his pants, he immediately ended the kiss between him and Nicole.

"Aaahhh!" Nicole was taken aback from the sudden ending of their shared kiss. Looking at the rabbit, the lynx noticed the fear and confusion in his eyes, as he gazed upon his erection. "Wh-what is this", Symbare Angoramon asked in confusion. "This has...never happened...down there...to my body...before."

Nicole was a little confused at first, until she narrowed her eyes downward. Seeing the tent that had formed within the rabbit's pants, the lynx covered her mouth, as she blushed and gasped lightly. "I've...heard about this", she said. Her face still red, Nicole uncovered her mouth and smiled at Symbare Angoramon. "You're perfectly fine, Symbare Angoramon; you're just experiencing arousal."

Symbare Angoramon blinked his eyes a few times, before he started to chuckle. Nicole stood in confusion, as she'd gotten herself fully dressed. Getting off of his bed and bringing himself over to the lynx, he held onto her shoulder as he pointed a finger to the television within his hut. Nicole was very aware of what a television was, but she stood in confusion; turning her head to the digimon again.

"Funny you say that, Nicole", Symbare Angoramon started. "You see; this thing links up to cyberspace. You can use this to return to your friends in the real world."

A low gasp escaped from Nicole's mouth; she was stunned to know that something like a television set would be her way back home. All she could think about right now was just how amazing the Digital World was. Upon turning the television on, the lynx placed a palm onto the screen; her hand suddenly going through the screen.

"So...I take it...this will be good bye", Symbare Angoramon said in a melancholic tone.

Hearing the sadness from his voice, Nicole quickly turned herself around to face the digimon. "It...might be", she started; "But...maybe it doesn't have to be." The lynx then ran over to the rabbit and embraced him; Symbare Angoramon half panicked, since he was still naked. "Thank you, Symbare Angoramon; for allowing me to experience the joys of being a real person."

With his expression changing to that of a warm smile, Symbare Angoramon wrapped his hands around Nicole. "You're welcome", he replied, as he and the lynx shared a nice, loving hug. Upon ending their embrace, Nicole brought herself back to the television; sending her hands through the screen, as the television sucked her entire body in. Symbare Angoramon was left standing alone in his hut; his smile still present on his face, but it was now a sad one.

"I'm sure we'll see each other again", he said. He then placed his right hand onto his chest; right where his heart would be. "That, I'll be praying for."

Back in Knothole base, Sally, Sonic, and the other Freedom Fighters stood before the large computer monitor. Sally had her hands locked together, as she was worried about Nicole's safety. Then - to every Freedom Fighters' surprise - the lynx had appeared before them on the screen. The worry that Sally and the others had suddenly vanished; replaced with looks of happiness.

"Nicole", Sally started. "You're back and safe."

"Yes, and I'm sorry for making you all worry", Nicole said. "After destroying that Robotnik Virus, I just...lost track of time. I didn't mean to go a whole day without contacting you all. I sincerely apologize."

Upon hearing her words, the Freedom Fighters all looked at one another in confusion. Turning back to face the digital lynx, Sonic then spoke up. "Say, Nicole; what are you talking about", he started. "What do you mean by 'a whole day'?"

"Nicole herself was confused by the question she was given. "I don't understand your question", she said. "Wasn't I gone for a whole day? Isn't today the next day?"

"Nicole, are you sure you're ok", Sally asked in concern. "You were only gone for half an hour."

Once again, Nicole gasped in surprise. She'd just now learned that time moves differently between the real world and the Digital World. Upon coming to terms with that, Nicole once again apologized for the confusion. From there, she began to tell them about what she's been up to, and of the new friend she made. She wouldn't tell exactly everything, only what she felt was important. With days coming and going in the real world, Nicole did her part of helping the Freedom Fighters to thwart every plan of that evil Dr. Robotnik.

Back in the Digital World, Symbare Angoramon was currently relaxing by a lake. The rabbit was at peace with a smile on his face, as he was fishing; waiting for a bite to come to his lure. "I wonder how Nicole is doing", he said. "I sure hope she was able to make it back to her friends safe and sound."

Upon saying that, a cyberspace gateway had appeared before him. Alarmed, Symbare Angoramon cast aside his fishing lure, as he jumped to his feet; preparing himself for what was to come. To his surprise, however, instead of anything threatening coming out from the gateway, Nicole had flown out of it. With quick reflexes, the rabbit caught the lynx; coincidentally locking them both into an embrace.

"Nicole, you're back", Symbare Angoramon said with excitement in his voice.

"Hehe! Yes, I've returned", she said. "I guess the entryways of cyberspace aren't consistent. But, I'm glad to have made it back to the Digital World. To be back with you."

"And I'm glad to have you back."

Upon reuniting after never seeing each other for quite some time, the two enjoyed the moment with their loving embrace. Being able to travel to and from the Digital World as she pleases, Nicole was happy to have found a place for her, for whenever she and the Freedom Fighters would be on break. And Symbare Angoramon was more than happy enough to spend those days with the lynx; showing her more of the Digital World, among other things.
