With Jolteon proving his innocence, the pokemon responsible for the past crimes in the last few cases had escaped. There was apparently an incident with the guards, and with the trial ongoing at the time, one of the vensuaurs were able to choke the guards out and used their vines to take the keys, along with the mega venusaurite.

The guild has had no say in the matter yet, and further investigations are ongoing right now. The guild had requested more action be taken with looking for the criminals with the local guards, but it was not up to them.

The two kings of the capital city didn't want guards to exercise any kind of searches inside the homes of other pokemorphs, they didn't want to cause any sort of civil unrest by having the guards search their homes. Although they did give the guild permission to enact justice with those criminals as soon as they are spotted or reported to be in the vicinity.

"Any news on where those guys went?" Lucario asked Eevee as he leaned onto the counter.

"No, but they did say that they haven't seen any of them in the city. Maybe they already left" Eevee tried to reassure Lucario.

"Yeah, but those guys managed to subdue us in each encounter. They have a motive, but what they are isn't known yet" Lucario said as he paced around.

"Um... You could try to spend some time, maybe try a mission or two with my big brother and the others. You might find some lead" Eevee suggested.

Jolteon had adjusted quite well after resolving the past he had forgotten. He had heard his father had become bankrupt with the state that Alakazam left him in, as well as his brothers. His "family" had now been in hiding, and the authorities were currently searching for them, with how folks were suspecting them of hiding a conspiracy of murders and lies. Soon the traveling party was all set up, including Charizard who returned from his excursion.

It's been a long time, but I'm back to uploading a chapter of this story at least. I really wanted to write Gengar since last chapter.

As a reminder of last chapter, Gengar is wearing the libre outfit from pokemon Unite, and his weapon is the outfit himself. Basically it lets him touch normal types as well, and giving him a little boost in physical attack to be a balanced fighter. So he can use ghost type moves at a distance and be up close and personal with wrestling moves on opponents.

Still not knowing if I should make raticate involved with hypno and the other criminals. Might make them into miners and reform them when they get defeated by Lucario and his team.

Also I'm intending to revisit characters like Charizard's brother (Charizard X), and Umbreon some chapters later. Not necessarily Charizard's brother being a villain, but moreso on who was responsible for Charizard's abduction years ago.

Umbreon however is going to be straightforward a villain next time.

Gengar however, I'm not so sure yet. But he has motives to earn as much guild as he can, this reason is still a work in progress.

And I'm feeling like I'm going to write the hypno, venusuars, and the dragonite to have a bigger role, or at least the organization they're working for. I want to write their motives for their villainy to that of one goal. I'm really not sure yet, but economic crisis is hard to do since maybe it's because poke may be very easy to come by. Or maybe because the nations they came from all bowed down to the grand standard of poke as a universal currency, making their own countries have obsolete currencies of their own when it came to the exchange rate in the lands that Zacian and Zamazenta reside in.
