Age of Fire: Era of the Talon

Prologue

Shrouded by the clouds of fate, the realm of Silverhigh dwelled in a seraphim of power, a divinity of glory incarnate. Here in the lands of old, dragons were once at the height of power in the Age of the Skykings. From memory, visions of great marble buildings of remarkable architecture stood tall and peaked into the sky. Incredible white ivory towers swelled within the entirety of the capital itself. Its culture and power were at the peak of its time, a golden era of dragon kind. With the center-point for dragons and their thralls, peace was settled in their castes and thralldom, and all were ruled by a Tyr.

Yet the displacement between status and its waning principles beckoned a change that would echo past its walls and into the future. In its turn towards the eras, there were prophecies, tales, and legends that were once spread across the civilization; speaking of lands far and plentiful in their own glories. Many were borne of the stars, others were of rituals divined by dragon blood. Some of these lands were past the ocean, others over the plains to the east. Colony efforts were made to claim the northeastern provinces past the mountains and claim the territories of the East, yet looming dangers began to emerge from within the inner depths of dragonkind.

Whether in the desperation to warn dragonkind to safer ails or out of the resilience of navigators to direct future settlements; none of that did anything to stop the fall that would surely come. Not even the great Tyrs of old could prevent this, for the fall happened as a resulting action of its people or out of a stagnation of its culture... no one knows how it fell... but they know one thing:

Silverhigh, in its failing times, proved one principle that brought the end of its glorious Age. Dragons, who were the centerpiece of the nation, grew vulnerable and weak in their dotage. Their lack of proper leadership, skill, and a rise to corruption eventually led to the fall of the ancient civilization. hominids, who were rising in power and in numbers, rose up against the dragons in their time and brought the nation to its end. Slaves to the dragons, they broke their chains and violently took their freedom.

Dragons, who were unable to match the fires of an uprising, were slain in mass and those who could repel or kill those responsible could not save the destruction that had befallen the dragon race. The end of the Age had come and brought forth another age to replace it: The Age of Iron with the rise of the hominids. Dragons were defeated in their time and left to flee to the underground, the Lower World... Many tragic stories were written and forgotten in the wails of dragonesses witnessing their hatchlings being murdered in front of them and dragons losing their mates to spears and arrows from Dwarves.

At the fall of this Age, many rituals were made by countless dragons. Many of those were vengeful worshippers looking to their ancestors for revenge against the loss they felt and some were of divination, calling for justice. There were many who called for vengeance, but their calls were unanswered and all the crying voices were silenced by the veil of death.

Even past the fall of the great nation of dragons, the rise of hominids, and the coming of a new age, the runes and tales of the surface world had survived the destruction of the capital and lived on in memory. Without those to seek them out and fewer survivors of distant colonies, no one would ever know the lands past the realm that had occupied the Age of Dreams and the Age of Wheels... and now the Age of Skykings. Those who sought to reclaim the glory of Silverhigh were never even remembered and many survivors fell to the blades of their once enslaved creatures.

It is now the Age of the Sorcerer, past the former Age of Iron. The world is different now with the Blighters living in the eastern plains and the Elves along the coasts of Hypat. Dwarves dwell within the mountains of the surface world, hardened with an economy of gold and silver; with Elves dwelling in their ancestral lands in prosperity and peace. Conflicts of this age are minor and insignificant, yet dragonkind fares on the edge of extinction once again.

On the surface world, known as the Upper World; hominids have begun a swift act in slew of agreement with the elves and the dwarves in the lands. Their charge is simple: To kill or capture all dragons in their territories and bring them to wherever they commanded. In this, the cries of dragonkind are heard all across the lands again.

Instead of letting the tragedies of old return to dragonkind once again, the wisps of the ancestral magic of the dead had triggered a response to the world: By taking a human of a different realm and making them one of their own. And in the human's time, they would be summoned once their age had come.

That candidate was a woman, kind, caring, and humble.

And she lived like one of us, unknowing of their own future to come.

*_*

Olivia sniffled in the wake of her recent firing. She was one of the few people who could understand the complexities of rewiring, managing, and divvying up components in a complex IT work environment, yet she was the one laid off by her favored company. Crescent Tech had faced another wave of lawsuits that had taken hold of the firm, and Governmental contracts were pulled due to an incident she had no control over.

Lying on the couch with her office items sitting in a box atop the dining table, the young woman felt terrible about how everything had gone down. Her lifestyle was looking bright for a tech firm that had great benefits, free housing, and a well-paying salary that she was able to live for a sustainable future. However, with an incident that had occurred within one of the 'Black Zone' security centers in Amarillo, Texas; the tech firm lost its main contract with the DoD for the fall and several families sued the firm for the loss of life that occurred on the site.

By the time the bankruptcy was settled in court, Olivia and half of the entire firm were laid off as a result of the penalties that the company faced. She and several other employees refused to be laid off, but the corporate suits in HR fired them all wholesale. This triggered a few employees to file for unemployment, but they recently discovered that a clause in their employment stated the employees were contractors and not part-time or full-time employees.

This went to the EEOC, but because they reported to the EEOC, lawsuits fired up again, and the firm essentially started to kick out Olivia and the other employees who were laid off into the road before they could fully pack up and get out of the once paid-for homes. It was such a mess for her to have everything she loved out of a firm to be turned into a hellish experience with many employees telling her to sue.

That was before everything shut down due to the onset of 2020.

She knew now that trying to sue would have meant losing the necessary funds she needed to stay on her feet in El Paso. The woman felt so miserable where she was, that she resorted to looking for jobs in the IT field so she could work her magic. But as she waited, she simply took out her bag of books and continued to read her books about Dragons. Nothing stopped her from living the dream of a gamer on WoW, Halo, and all other games that were considered retro. Even playing Dungeons and Dragons was a small hobby she loved playing and running for her co-workers.

Since it was the advent of the year 2020, COVID had started to become the year of absolute hell. With her confined to her apartment and still waiting for some relief, the woman stuck to the passions of living inside and found a way from her miserable state.

Still, with the current abysmal state of the world going into reprisal of status and concerted pain, Olivia would still sniffle at the friends lost from the state of the world. And as she cried herself to sleep, the state of mind she desired triggered something in her life for a state of change. In her innermost desires for change, that change found her...

Starting with a strange dream of her body vanishing from her couch.

*_*

Olivia woke up to what had been a rather unbecoming dream of wind and vanishing lights. She found herself becoming aware of a mystical chamber of crystal, marble, and stone gradient, laying on the ground, gasping as the feeling of cold deeply chilled her skin, and brought her to full awareness of the sensation. Sensing that it was another lucid dream she could control, she attempted to stand up, only to find that when she lifted her hands, she saw only scales and claws.

Her first actions led her to scream aloud into the vacant chamber. What came out was a simple shrill, a bellowing yet focused screech that caused even herself to grow terrified of what she was. With a lift of her hand, she realized she was looking at a claw and not a hand. They were sharp, big, and radiated a crimson and red coloration. More emotions began to well up inside Olivia whilst she loomed at the shock of being something completely different.

Softly brushing her scales revealed a series of long and curved horns draping along her head. They were as if the bones themselves wanted to make a crown, with the longest pair being the foremost and shaped like a sharper U to the scalp. Running down her neck and lower cheeks, there were frill-like appendages that flexed and shimmered in the reflections of her nape. The more she looked down at her body from neck to lower body...

The shape and curves of a reddish and slender draconic body were made apparent to her in the shock of it all. It took a few moments to realize what she was, before she witnessed her long tail moving around and making the once-human freak out over her tail and wings. Her left wing opened and flapped uncontrollably, whilst her tail slapped the floor and brought her slight pain at the strange limb elongating her tailbone.

"What the hell did I have to eat today?" Olivia asked herself, groaning as her immediate reactions caused her to feel slightly dizzy at the sensation of being an entirely new species. She sensed her body was powerful, young, healthy, and strong. Such feelings and resonations of her body health allowed her to get a handle on her limbs and scrape the floor with the tension of a cautious student.

Once grasping the floor and standing, Olivia stretched her powerful wings. She knew she was in a magical chamber, filled with ancient artifacts and mysterious symbols etched on the walls. It almost reminded her of a Fantasy version of Halo: CE, where the halls echoed the same ambience of the Forerunner chambers... whispering, echoing, and emanating a creepy atmosphere that was dead and hollow.

Curiosity piqued, Olivia began to explore the chamber. She walked with a sense of purpose, her keen eyes scanning the surroundings for anything of interest. As she moved deeper into the chamber, the air became thick with magic, and Olivia, not knowing how magic felt, could feel the energy coursing through her veins. It was strange how she felt it caressing her scales, draping her in a weight of power that she had never felt before.

It wasn't long before she discovered what was causing this effect. She came across a stone pedestal, and atop it was a glowing orb that pulsed with an ethereal light. Olivia approached it with caution, for she knew that magic could be both powerful and unpredictable. Looming closer and closer, she soon gazed into the orb, and as she did...

Visions erupted in the dragoness's mind. Olivia screamed in the sudden intensity of the unnatural emotions and senses flooding her vision. She could see dragons being hunted by humans, shot at by dwarves, and captured by elves. Countless emotions of fear in the dragons filled her

The voices had pleaded for help or to stay safe from hominids, and when the realization was about to click, a singular human was seen gutting and butchering the dragons crying out in fear. She had witnessed the human's resistance to dragon flame and how a shining sword cleaved through the pleading voices in pain. It had suddenly revealed to her just what she was witnessing, without even a single voice to tell her. In their suffering, she had felt hers mirrored in theirs, a unified outcry of pain and sorrow.

While the revelation of the truth had been in front of her, she had cried heavily where she stood. Like she was before, the woman inside the dragoness had cried in memories of what was happening and what was to be. Memories of how Jizara and Irelia had been brutally murdered had made her well up in knowing what was going to happen or what had already happened.

Olivia had known then that she had been in a conceptual reality where The Age of Fire was real, dwelling in this world of shapes and forms. There had been more to it than what she had conceptually realized. Magic, something she had not truly understood, had been here, and magic had most likely been the cause of her being in this position.

Or had it been something else?

The dragoness had fathomed in the true face of what had been happening in front of her. Just what exactly had been happening in front of her? How had this been possible? And why had she been thinking so hard when this could very well have been a dream?

That fact in thinking within a dream had been so apparent, and the senses and the forthcoming feelings had been so real; Olivia had had a gut feeling that this had been no dream. The visions had been too real, and the emotions she had felt from every dragon slain, captured, or tortured had been real enough that it had made her question her reality.

"I am Olivia Castaneda, you were born in Houston, you graduated college from UTD in IS. You worked for Crescent Tech, you have a life ahead of you." The dragoness had tried so hard to focus on her identity and the immediate situation before she could seek out what or where exactly she had been. One of her instinctual codes had been to keep herself grounded in any situation, no matter where, when, or what she had been. Keep bearing on the situation before anything else happens.

With a deep breath and a realization of her three hearts and an extra pair of lungs in her body, she had been no medical professional, but with this feeling of fresh breathing and realization of extra organs, she could feel herself moving rather quickly, moderately, and had room for additional considerations for her movement. However, when she had started to think about the visions, she had felt as if she could summon them in a position within her mind.

Like she had control of her memories.

Such an understanding or power over the mind had made the female chuckle inside, realizing that her mind had worked like a well-functioning computer, unlike others on three hours of sleep with spiked energy drinks. In so much as understanding just what her mind had been in the grand scheme of thought warfare, she had known that she should mind how far she should advance in the piercing of minds. In understanding that the mental gymnastics of thought should be cautiously observed.

"Now... where am I?"

Before the dragoness could even rationalize the situation, she would have turned around and soon found the room beginning to dim down in the magical veil that it had produced. Even the orb had started to wane in the power that it once had. Olivia had soon realized that this magic had been meant for her to be here and that's it.

With a long and dreaded sigh, she began to explore the chamber like it was an RPG game. The dragoness knew that this was a D&D play, but she understood that the reality of the situation could prove even more dire if there was no map to base herself off of.

By combing through chests and silver armor plates designed for dragons, Olivia could only discover a parchment. That one item only showed a small settlement within a mountain range, an explanation of the immediate area for sure... but not where she was by the region. Even with a slight mapping of this area, she could realize whether or not this was the Upper World or the Lower... as darkness surrounded her without the magical aid of the chambers flickering and glowing.

It was there that Olivia did what was the second best thing, examined the armor. She had no taste for the metals, a slight surprise... but as she would examine the material and the symbols, there was nothing she could recognize from its draconic standing. Whether this was of Lavadome's armor or another entirely... she could only fathom that it was either Lavadome or Silverhigh armor. The fact that this was Silver was unmistakable, but she was still cautious about these thoughts.

The only way to find out exactly... she would need to get out of this chamber to discover whether or not that question could be answered, among many questions. There were many in persistence to her existential crisis, but one step needed to be made to move along the actions to the future... and Olivia knew she would live for a great time longer than what her life expectancy was made of her. Yet there was one massive advantage she had no matter where she would be located...

Her knowledge of events to come and her experience in a world centuries more advanced than the capability of all factions involved in the scope of her abilities. She would need to play her game right to outmaneuver one over the next... or find a means to produce something effective against the capabilities of what each foe presented. And that would take time and power she didn't have.

If things were happening as they were proceeding, she might not have time at all.

With a rush, Olivia acted on her own thoughts and turned to where an entrance was located to the chamber itself. There was a long hall that she raced down where artifacts of all kinds were located, but the dragoness didn't pay heed to them and headed directly to the door. In analyzing the door's structure, she knew it was made for a dragon. Compared to smaller items, a measurement, and where/what was happening to the size of the item... she realized the height of the door was seventeen feet in height compared to the perception of marking the ground to the floor and then bringing it up to the highest point in the structure.

That was when she realized she was nearly eleven feet in height.

With a push on the door, the object would creak slightly open... and soon the opening to what lay outside of the chambers would shock the dragoness where she was. Looking out into the distance, she could see close and angled mountains, an open sky, and radiating sunshine...

And ruins all along the structure she was standing on.

Olivia walked out from the chamber she had been standing in and looked up to observe what had housed her. She looked and examined the stone and metal, broken and ruined statues of dragons sitting on pedestals between the two openings to the door, with the chamber itself embedded in the peak of a mountainside. It looked as if the structure, the building itself, had been embedded inside a cave, remade to house magical artifacts that had now dimmed to uselessness.

Outside the structure, in its immediate surroundings, it was apparent that this mountainside had housed a small outpost. Most of the buildings and structures looked as if time had eroded what was once there, and weathering had taken care of the rest, leaving the buildings mere rubble. Metals of armor were scattered all over the place, and signs of bone were around it.

Whatever had happened there, dragons had died protecting this place.

With another sigh, Olivia left the ruins undisturbed until she could find the means to bring this place to its former glory. Nothing made her joyous enough to repair the damages of the past, especially with the pains and the tragedies happening across the realm now. She could not bear the thought of letting the tragedies continue, and so she began walking away from the outpost and started a trek down the mountainside. If she was going to practice flying, she was not going to endanger herself from atop the mountain peaks...

And she was going to use the walk as a means to commune with her new instincts.

All to prevent the horrific events that were surely to come.

*_*

In under half of a day, Olivia started to understand why dragons preferred flying. Even as she walked down the mountainside, enjoying the crisp mountain air and the picturesque view; the dragoness sagged in her movement and the weight of her lumbering form made her realize gravity didn't favor her today. Her powerful wings were tucked against her back, and she took slow, measured steps as she descended the steep slopes and crusty passages.

To her, this felt nothing more than an extended hiking trip down a mountainous slope. There was no safety net, no prevention of a fall, and no spotter to look out for her. She was past the point of safety, she was alone, without any form of help in this Upper World. Even thinking about all the outcomes for her led Olivia to shiver as she walked down the nearest slope.

Whether this was pessimism or just pure logic, the bad outcomes were simple: It was easy to die by the creatures of this world, killed by the Dragonblade, captured and/or used as a breeding tool by the Dragon Riders at the Isle of Ice, used as a Parasitic host and killed by the Trolls of the Mountains, or even mauled by Demen in the Lower World. She shivered at the thoughts of what she was up against, as it was a cruel world for dragons. That made the dragoness much more determined to seek out AuRel and Irelia in order to save them and their clutch from the Wheel of Fire Dwarves...

In using her own thoughts to dwell on a plan, Olivia felt like she was getting closer to at least grounding herself to the dangers of the world. She was scared, shaky, uncertain, but she still moved down the slopes and soon reached what looked like the beginning to a Valley in between the range of mountains. It was rather peaceful looking as she made her way through the serene area... even as the subset of terror and fear was taking its course.

Still, making the journey to find a place in this world was far more important than sitting down and thinking of every contingency plan... while Olivia took the chance to scrape and scramble into the forest, the dragoness failed to see the looming shadow that tracked her movements as she entered the valley. She was curious about the range of mountains to determine if she might be within the Red Mountains. If that were the case, she would have a better grounding on where she could be.

Out in the distance, however, something was watching the dragoness moving down from the cliffs and into the underbrush. Its eyes gazed upon her body as she made her slender movements through passages and ridges. She was naked, and her scales were the glittering softness of fresh-cut grass; she was beautiful to look at even from this distance. Her tail was slightly curled in an unconscious gesture that told the unknown onlooker how much of a natural she was as a walker and not a flier.

The mere fact Olivia hadn't spotted the looming figure looking at her from a high rising hill made observing the horned dragoness easy from such a far distance. What confused the figure was that the figure of Olivia was that of a female, but with horns and red scales like a male dragon. There was so much to the female, that there was an action that needed to be made in the female's intrusion into the territory.

As Olivia was thinking about supply chain and logistics between the current location and the location of Hypatia, she would fail to notice the looming shadow taking flight. She was lost in thought, head in the clouds...

Until she suddenly felt a great force slam into her from behind. The dragoness felt the wave of force press her claws to the ground and her head to be yanked to look at the floor. There was a large wave of dust that picked up from the flash of force that pinned her to the ground and a piercing spike of a vice-like grip was placed on the back of her neck. Olivia gasped as she was held in place, especially when there were other claws holding her down by the bulk of its body.

That was when the dragoness realized what held her in place.

"Well... what do we have here?" The tone of the dragon's voice filled her vision. Communicating like the dragons did was definitely something she did not have control over... and she would easily display that by thinking of many things without formulating a concise thought. "I can tell you are smart, yet you cannot speak to me clearly. What, did your sire and dam forget to teach you how to speak?"

"I...you...them..." Olivia replied, making the dragon increase the pressure on her neck.

"You're getting there, speak more and I might let you go."

In a few short seconds after thinking of finding a means to formulate a proper sentence... the dragoness nearly hit herself mentally before she remembered how instinct played a factor into the verbiage of dragonkind.

"If you let me go, I might reward you with that intelligence." Olivia growled.

"Good. We're getting somewhere." The dragon replied, loosening his grip slightly on her. "Now, who are you and are you a... male or a female?"

"I am a Dragoness, and my name is Olivia. You?" Olivia replied. She knew he was not keeping his bargain, but in this situation... sometimes it was best not to provoke the one holding the gun.

"KelGore. Now... why do you look like this? Aren't all females supposed to be Green... why the horns? Do you not have enough problems to deal with?" The dragon was very inquisitive about the way she looked and especially why she was like this.

"Does it matter? I might have different scales or have horns... but I am trying to survive. If you want, I have knowledge you can use. Just please let me go."

Hearing the dragonesses' plea, KelGore the dragon would release her from his hold. However, as he was about to lighten up, the dragoness' hips rubbed his nethers with a cool caress. "I didn't say get off." Olivia implied to him. As she started to realize what she was doing, Olivia soon felt her body beginning to grow warm and that the heavy and hard stench of the dragon on top of her radiated. Instinct guided the female to find a means to communicate...

Now instinct guided her to build relationships wherever she found herself in.

Even when the dragon on top of her received a very different message. In that moment, the dragoness felt her crimson cheek being warmed by the dragon's breath. He was growling beside her ears in an alluring display of dominance. Olivia shivered at the dragons' caress and the growling along the closeness between them. She felt her lower body beginning to warm up even more... especially in places where she would not normally want anyone to be near.

"I hope you don't mind if I make myself more comfortable."

She didn't even have a moment's notice until she felt something warm and thick being pressed between her legs. It was warm and sticky as she moved her thighs apart for it to have better access... but it felt strangely heavy. The dragon was breathing hard against her neck now as he soon lowered his head and stared into her eyes with a deep lustful hunger.

As if they shared some sort of unspoken language, both knew what was about to happen next.

Looking into his eyes, Olivia saw his sharp and colorful green shine... and as she looked into the shape of his face, they were similar to the black dragons described in the books. She especially took notice of his shape being that of NooMoahk and Shadowcatch; sharp and clean like a dragon in his prime. At the mere sight of his frame, girth, and size... Olivia spread her hind legs wider and tried to yank her tail to the side to give the male access to innermost treasures...

But KelGore had other ideas.

The dragon shifted his weight on top of her back before pressing himself between her legs. There was a warmth inside her before she felt the tip pushing against her opening... and soon after, KelGore thrust all the way inside. Olivia gasped at the sudden penetration, but there was no time to worry or take notice of the pain. Right then and there, the dragon began to pump himself into her tight tunnel. His hips were grinding against hers as he humped her faster. She could feel his shaft hitting her inner walls and making her quiver from every inch of penetration, making her hole stretch into a wide O shape as he continued thrusting.

Olivia did not dare move, even though she wanted to give him even more ideas on how to use her body. Instead, she just lay there and let the dragon fuck her as he pleased. Lightning rods of pleasure exploded into her mind whilst the dragon worked her snatch like a toy, making her moan lustfully underneath him in the midst of her slit squelching from every clap of his hip. Her slit was already sopping wet from the sheer anticipation of such a large male mounting her. She could hear him grunting and groaning like an animal as he went further into her body. His flesh slapping against her clit made the female arch her back slightly and moan in delight.

"This feels... so good..." Olivia moaned in the dragon's mind.

She felt him sinking deeper and deeper inside of her, stretching her insides and filling her folds as a response to her words. The dragon did not last long after that. With one powerful push, he rammed his hips forward and buried himself into Olivia's body. The dragoness' eyes widened when she realized that the dragon had finally released. The thick load of cum filled her folds as his length throbbed with the outpouring of seed that pumped into her snatch.

Not wanting to move for fear of losing his seed inside her, KelGore stayed on top of her. He gently rubbed his snout against hers as they shared their emotions together. For the first time in her life, Olivia felt a strange feeling within her body. She wasn't sure if it was because of the pleasure or the pain... but she couldn't deny the fact that she felt a deep connection with this dragon. Sensations of an emotional attachment made her feel like there was more to the dragon mind than what she initially realized...

Until she started to sense more of the dragon's thoughts even more than she should have.

As a reaction, the warm and sticky folds of the dragoness squelched and contracted slightly... a reaction to the female feeling the dragon's thoughts. Not wanting a good feeling to go to waste, KelGore gave the dragoness her reward by bucking into her cum-coated labia, making Olivia rasp and cry out lustfully before he gave a long-winded snarl of approval.

"It seems this is your first time..."

"How... do you know?"

"You are drunk with lust... I know because I am old enough to know of it." KelGore growled, licking the underside of her cheek.

"Don't worry... this is my first time too."

*_*

Olivia gasped as she was taken again. The young and beautiful dragoness had been under his spell for countless hours, unable to break free from the magic of lust and sexual release. While she was helpless in the dragon's clutches, he had taken her to a local cave that she had grown accustomed to for the past thirty minutes. Olivia moaned softly as she felt the male take one last thrust before releasing inside of her, filling her completely with his seed. He smiled down at her weakly as they lay together on the ground, exhausted yet satisfied after what could only be described as the most intense sexual experience both dragons bore the luxury of having.

The crimson dragoness panted in the dragon's presence, their scents were heavy and all over the place. Marks of their sexual wetness smeared the walls and the ground with their fluids. Sweat and musk choked her senses, but the dragoness basked in it. The feeling of the dragons cum coated most of her body in a layer of white. Olivia dwelled in it, soaking every moment she had with the dragons cum flowing from her depths.

By this point into all of their mating, Olivia knew she would bear the dragon's clutch.

Not unless...

"Unless what...?" KelGore asked Olivia as she was in the middle of thinking.

"Unless the Aether is not strong enough to allow me to bear them." Olivia rasped in their telepathic presence. However, this was the wrong thing to say... or the right one if Olivia thought hard on it.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Aether is what makes magic KelGore, why I am worried about it is because strangely enough... our blood is connected to it. We have access to this, somehow, and that is why it may affect whether or not I am allowed to breed." Olivia implied, looking to KelGore where he laid. The dragon was on his side, his head slightly turned in her direction with a tired, blank expression.

"Not that you don't mind putting as many clutches as you can by the way..."

"Hm... you are right it won't stop me, but please tell me more about this. You did say you wanted to reward me with your intelligence so... talk." KelGore humored in their mental link.

"Not that I don't want to talk about it more... but there is much that is still unknown to magic. There are a few Sorcerers in the Hypatian Empire... all due West of these mountains that may help us understand it better..." Olivia rasped. "And I seek to get us there so that we may get them to bring us sanctuary..."

"Interesting... Now tell me why do you want to go to hominids?" He asked.

"Here is the thing, immediate safety against Dragonblade and The Wheel of Fire Dwarves." Olivia remarked. "Dragonblade is a foe who hunts our kind... and The Wheel of Fire dwarves are a warlike clan of Dwarves who take deals, kill many, and live in a gutless campaign of battle and conflict."

"That's good to know... where are they located?"

"The Dwarves... in these mountains. Dragonblade? Possibly in the same area." She spoke in reply. Immediately, she witnessed the dragon flinch as there was a sense of fear in them. At that moment, Olivia saw a map view of where they were in the dragon's mental reference... "Actually, the Diadem will be closest to us."

"The... Diadem?" He asked.

"Yes, a Dwarven trading Company. They are far more reputable and business-savvy than most. We can make a trade with them, gain sanctuary, and have influences in high places." Olivia replied. "And I know who to talk to-to make it happen."

"What makes you think you can be able to accomplish all of that? How do you know all of this?"

At that moment, Olivia rasped as she leaned her sore body on its back... just before she spread her thighs to the dragon. He could be able to see the onrush of seed that caked the females folds, much to the betterment of both of their sensual desires. "Would you care anyway?" She asked.

KelGore, tempted by the female's lust, rose up to all fours and moved on top of the female. He would lower himself onto the female and press his erect and cum-dripping length right at the entrance of Olivia's folds.

He would ease himself into her before saying the final words both of them would speak for the rest of the night.

"No."

The Dragonelle had waited for this moment her whole life. She had watched as KelGore took to the skies, soaring high above the mountains, his wings beating strongly and confidently. And now, it was finally her turn. The dragon, while very much enjoying her embarrassment of teaching a young dragonelle how to use her wings, he had effectively flashed memories to her to teach the female; something she wished her teachers used to get her through Calculus and all business courses.

With a deep breath, the Dragonelle unfurled her wings and stepped towards the edge of the cliff. She could feel the wind rushing against her scales, pushing against her body, urging her to take flight.

Her hearts pounding in her chest, the Dragonelle leapt into the air, her wings beating furiously. For a moment, it felt like she was falling, tumbling towards the ground far below. But then, her wings caught the wind, and she felt herself lifting higher and higher.

It was an exhilarating sensation, one that she had never experienced before. The Dragonelle flapped her wings harder, feeling the rush of air against her face as she climbed higher and higher. She could see the world below her, the green fields and forests stretching out in all directions. It was beautiful, and she felt free, untethered from the ground.

For a while, the Dragonelle simply soared, reveling in the joy of flight. But then, she remembered why she had taken to the skies in the first place and the black scales of KelGore was seen coming near her.

"Now, where did you encounter those... ruins as your mind picture put it?" KelGore asked.

Taking sense into the geological trail from the reference of the mountain, Olivia aimed her head to the direction of the nearby mountainside and aimed upwards, going upwards to close in on the heightened trail leaning upwards to the peak where the ruins might be.

"It is a Ruined Outpost of Silverhigh, or at least, as I know it." Olivia informed him. The dragon displayed a confused look whilst keeping pace with her on the flight above. "If you were unsure of the name, Silverhigh is the last known Golden-Age city of dragonkind where once our Age was known. Those who know of our history know our Age as the Age of the Skykings." She continued.

"Do you have a memory of this time?"

"No, I am too young to know either time, neither would I be capable of anything more. My memories are muddled, such is how magic works. The victim or the master bears the cost of using or being exposed to it." Olivia implied. As they would each near the ruins, the peaks of the outpost that Olivia described was right before them. It was perched and hidden from the outside, but easy to spot when you know where to look.

KelGore showed an adventurous side that even surprised Olivia as she flew. His expressive nature went from a confident and strong dragon, to a little hatchling rushing to the ruins to uncover more... always more. "Please tell me more, I never knew that we were once great people!" He exclaimed with praise.

"Key word my dear KelGore... Once." She spoke to the dragon, implying much to him as he soon witnessed the armor, the bones, and the signs of what looked like an ancient battle. KelGore easily made his way to land in the location, but as he looked around, she could feel he was shaken greatly. "Some things are harder to accept." She would say, landing beside him.

"I was raised in a Princedom of Hominids far from the Bazaar. I thought dragons were not hunted in these lands." KelGore exclaimed, twisting his neck to look at the dragonelle as she made her way to him.

"Ah, one of the independent human nations in the Sunstruck sea. No, I do not know what the Princedoms are doing there, but here... in the Red Mountains and along the southern, northern, and western nations; we are hunted for many things. Mostly, for our flesh and bone, while the others we are used for Dragon Riding. Females are taken and bound for breeding and dragons are either used as breeding tools or castrated to be used for their own ends..." She explained to him where dragonkind was at this time.

"And what about before?" He demanded.

"I cannot say for certain, but in our Age of the Skykings... we ruled these lands. But in our time of power, greed, and laziness; our people lost their power in many uprisings. The only kingdom that survives is located in The Lower World, but it is a shadow of its former self... the cries of dragonkind are now ours, at least what the source of this ruin showed me before the magic died out."

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"There was magic that kept the inner sanctum of this place alive, like it was waiting for the right time to pass on its information." Olivia spoke. "It passed on its information to me... with some side effects... before it dwindled and stopped functioning." The dragonelle would make her way to one of the armored silver patches, letting the dragon know she was going to use it to effect.

"What did it pass on?" KelGore asked.

Olivia found a helmet piece and used one of her claws to pull it up and dawn it upon her head. "The end of this Age is nigh and we must save our people from the wars to come." The dragoness explained.

"And what shall this Age be?" The black dragon asked more in question.

"The Age of Fire."
