The video started as all the others had, with the 80's throwback style and the neon pink 'Starting Soon' showing before fading out. As always, the grey-furred hare smiled at the camera once his feed showed up. "Hello, everyone. ColdCasey here with another interview. But before we begin that, I would like to thank everyone for the feedback so far. I'm happy you all are enjoying my little show, despite that no one has died or even fucked." He chuckled. "And yes, I have seen the comments saying you think I'd make a cute corpse dying on camera. Maybe someday, who knows. I will also not be showing myself off for the camera. Sorry, you'll just have to use your imaginations for what's packing below screen. But enough about me, let's get to our guest."

With a quick transition, a second box appeared, this one showing a young timber wolf. He sat in a darkened room, some kind of standing bamboo divider behind him to block the view of anything around him. KC cleared his throat. "Welcome, Timber_Wag! And thank you for joining me here today."

The wolf nodded. "Happy to be here, KC. And you can call me Jake."

The hare blinked. "Oh! Uh, sure. I didn't think you liked to use your real name."

Jake shrugged. "I didn't used to. I liked having a separation there, but... I mean, my face is out there for anyone to see, so it wouldn't be that hard to figure out who I was if someone really wanted to. Plus, I'm here to talk about myself. Figured if there's any time to say my real name, it's now."

The host laughed softly. "Fair enough. Well, why don't you go ahead and introduce yourself to anyone that might not be familiar with you yet."

"Sure!" He held up a hand as a slight wave. "So, I'm Jake, or Timber_Wag. I'm one of the newer content makers here on D-Gen. I've only got about 5 videos up so far, though I am in 2 more videos that aren't mine."

"Yes, you got rather well known recently as you were a guest commentator on the 2023 Death Dash. It's pretty unusual for a new creator to be invited for such an honor."

Jake chuckled. "Well, that was mostly by happenstance. Tr- uh, T-Bro was the actual one invited, but he's not the best with computers. So he asked if he could use my setup, and invited me to sit in as a +1."

KC nodded. "Ah yes. Your relationship with Monster_T-Bro is an interesting one. You first debuted on D-Gen in one of his videos. How was it that you ended up meeting the big man? Were you friends beforehand?"

The wolf chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "Not... exactly. I started a few years ago, when I was still in college. Had this girlfriend, Laura. Cute fox, really sweet girl, and definitely sexy."

He chuckled. "Something like that. I dunno why he did it, probably just his nature. He's kind of..." He tried to think of the right word. "...I guess abrasive would be the right word. He loves to taunt and tease. I get the feeling he's done this to a bunch of people before, but he's never told me much about it."

"Yes, he does have something of a reputation, even around D-gen."

"Truth." The wolf cleared his throat. "Anyway, I ended up keeping the videos. Didn't know why at the time, but... well, let's just say I enjoyed them way more than I should have. Ended up looking for... more stuff of that nature after a while. One thing led to another, and I found myself on D-Gen. Just as a lurker at first, going through the videos. And that's when I found his stuff. Soon as he spoke, my jaw damn near hit the floor!"

"I'll bet!" He laughed. "It's always a fun surprise when you first get here and find someone you recognize. It's surprisingly common."

Jake nodded slowly. "Yeah, I came to learn that pretty quick since my current girlfriend at the time was ALSO already a member, and I had no idea! Didn't find out until afterwards, when I got the courage to contact T-Bro about snuffing her and my roommate, a real bitch cat. He nodded. "Yup. That's the one. Also the one that really gave me the idea to only snuff girls I considered girlfriends."

The hare smiled. "That's a good lead into my next question. What made you choose to become the girlfriend killer? It seems like a lot of effort to go through only to end up killing them in the end."

Jake nodded slowly. "Yeah, I've thought about that. I prefer willing girls most of the time. Don't get me wrong, there's some fun to be had going after someone resisting, but... I dunno." He shook his head. "No, it's more than just that. I take my time with every woman that chooses to get close to me. I don't just pretend with them. They are each special and precious in their own way. I do genuinely love every girl. They're all so... I don't want to say broken, that sounds way too harsh. Empty, I guess? Lost and directionless?"

"Listless?" The hare offered.

"Yeah. Something like that. They all want a connection, but more, they want to be loved, and to love someone back. I want to give them that before the end. He smiles. "I guess if I had to pick one girl to thank more than the rest, it would be Michelle, from my debut. It's because of her that I got the idea to share my love."

"That makes sense." He went back to his notes. "Uh... already answered favorite way to kill... ah. Your own ideal death. If you could choose how your end comes, how would it be?"

Jake took a long, deep breath as he thought. "Ooof. I really don't know, to be honest. I haven't thought too much about it." He looked down as he mulled the question over. "I guess I'd really love it to be someone who cares about me. Someone who doesn't just end me because they think I have a cute ass, but actually knows me and appreciates me." He shrugged. "As for the how... dunno. Probably use my own knife on me? Maybe end up as someone's trophy kill? I dunno..."

The hare nodded. "It's fine. Not everyone's got their end in mind. Though how about a little more about you? You mentioned before you were in college? You're not anymore?"

"Yeah, that's right. I was studying architectural design, but after stumbling into doing this... well, I found I can make more money doing this. And I'm far more fulfilled than I think I would be designing apartment buildings."

"Glad you could find something you like doing." He looked down, then chuckled. "Ah, well, this next question might be a bit of a double. Do you have a girlfriend right now? And if yes, plans for her death?"

Jake laughed. "Ah! Yes, actually. Right now, I've been getting to know an absolutely adorable little dragon. Forum users will recognize her as CobaltScaleTail2001."

"A dragon?"

He nodded. "Yeah. And I mean it when I say little. She's the smallest dragon I've ever seen. Only about 4 feet tall." He chuckled. "She likes to joke that she's a kobold."

"She sounds very cute."

"Oh, she is!" He glanced to the side. "Did you want to say hi?" There was a quiet voice that the mic didn't quite pick up. "She's a bit shy."

KC blinked. "She's there right now?"

Jake nodded. "Yup. Been sitting and listening just off camera." He glanced at her again. "And with the biggest, cutest smile. I can't wait to show her off to everyone some day." He reached out off camera to pat the girl's head. This time the mic picked up a soft cooing sound from her. "She likes to say she's a bit clumsy and dim, but I don't think so at all. Just a little awkward. But who isn't at times?"

The hare could not help but smile wide. "Well, she sounds quite adorable. I look forward to her video, whenever she chooses to do it. I'm sure her last night will be a good one."

The wolf nodded. "I'll make sure of it."

KC glanced down. "So. Next question... other content creators. Do you have any favorites?"

He nodded. "Oh, yes. I do. Obviously, I owe a LOT to T-bro for first getting me into all of this. Uh... let's see. DorienRayBeam is another fun one to watch. Another fan of decapitation and throat slashing. Though he hasn't posted in a long time now, so... hope he's still alive. Or if not, someone can let us know." He thought for a moment. "I like watching the bounty videos, too. Don't really have a favorite hunter out of them yet."

"Well. Normally, I would ask if you have anything upcoming planned to end this out, but you've already gone and answered that."

Jake laughed. "Yup!" He reached out to hold Emerald's hand gently. "Once she's ready. But I'll be hanging around the forums as always."

KC nodded. "Well, thank you very much for joining me and telling everyone a little more about yourself."

"Yeah, this was fun. Got to tell all about how T-Bro corrupted me!" He chuckled. "Nah, I wouldn't change anything. I've been happier in the last few years doing this than I have been in all the others leading up to it combined."

"Well, we're glad you're here with us, and we'll look forward to whatever else you'll have in store to show us." He gave a big smile of his own. "And thank you to everyone that has watched and commented on my show! Please, keep posting those comments, and any other questions you might want me to ask our guests. I already have the next one lined up and ready, so it won't be long until my next one is out. They're a real veteran of the site, so you can look forward to that!"

Jake blinked. "Wait, veteran of the site? Are you going to talk to one of the mods?"

The hare just chuckled. "You'll just have to tune in next time to find out." He gave a wave. "Bye everyone!" with that, the screed faded out to the usual 'Thank You for Watching' message and coming to an end.
