He stumbled into my dad's inn late one night, bloody and bruised. I had taken him upstairs and tended his shallow wounds. He stared out at the rain the entire time. He didn't make a sound, even with the pain that I was causing him by cleaning his cuts. I brought him some of the leftovers from dinner and sat them on his bedside table. He didn't so much as glance at me.
I didn't sleep that night, my thoughts were possessed by his image. The white and black lupine face haunted me, his bright gold eyes seemed so focused that they could look into my very deepest thoughts. He probably stood at a little under five and three quarter feet, only and inch or two shorter than myself.
As I continued to think about him I found myself more and more wanting to go back upstairs and demand to know his name and how he got in that condition. I managed to fight back my urges but the mental struggle lasted far into the hours of dawn.
It wasn't until I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes that he came downstairs. He looked like a ghost, gently and lightly walking down the stairs. He glanced at me and started to walk over and I found myself getting nervous. What if he was some kind of murderer and it wasn't even his blood I was cleaning last night? I shook off the thoughts as he drew near.
"You bandaged me?" His voice was cool and collected yet soft like a breeze. It was very charismatic.
"Yes. Might I ask your name?" I set the mug I had been wiping out down.
"You can call me Harkin." He took a seat at the bar and I walked to the other side of the counter, directly across from him.
"What happened to you last night?" I poured him a glass of water.
"Just a fight. No big deal and definately nothing for you to concern yourself with."
"You seem a bit young to get into fights like that." I got a glare in response. He seemed kind of cute when he was angry.
"I'm twenty. I can choose what the hell to do for myself thank you." Twenty? That was only about a year younger than me.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to strike a nerve there. I just meant that you look young for your age. You could just take it as a compliment."
"So how much do I owe you?" He pulled a brown bag off his belt loop and looked at me.
"Nothing. It was pouring rain outside, you would've died if I had tossed you out." I answered non-chalantly.
"That's all the more reason to charge me. Besides, I'll probably need to stay a couple of nights." The argument stopped at that moment because the town thug walked in. He always stopped by when my dad was away and tried to wreck the place. He was a big dragon by the name of Ocin and due to his tough hide there was little I could do to stop him.
"Time to pay up kitten." He threw a table as he walked over and I saw Harkin's eye's close. He stomped closer and closer but to my amazement Harkin stood when Ocin was a few feet away.
'He's not paying you anything." His voice shook with anger. It still seemed cool and collected but the feeling of wind had turned to the feeling of an impending storm. He drew a sheathed short katana out from his robes to which the dragon scoffed.
"You can't stop me pup." He laughed with his hands to his side.
"I beg to differ." Harkin took an offensive stance, his hand on the hilt of his sword with his thumb just barely pushing on the guard.
"Step aside." The dragon narrowed his eyes. The patrons of the inn were backed far away from the two by now but everyone's eyes were focused on the scene unfolding before us.
"Sure. I'll step aside if you leave."
Ocin lunged toward Harkin, roaring in anger. In the blink of an eye Harkin was in the air in front of the behemoth's maw and the sound of crunching filled the air. With just the hilt of his blade Harkin had shattered Ocin's lower jaw and part of the upper half of his snout. Harkin landly lightly on the ground next to Ocin, who stood astonished at what had just happened.
"Will you leave now?" Harkin's voice still sounded intimidating. Ocin took a swing at Harkin. He sidestepped quickly. Ocin began furiously swinging his fists at the wolf, who deftly avoided every swing. He caught one of the dragon's punches with one hand and with his other jabbed the hilt of his blade up into the dragon's wrist. A cracking sound shot through the inn and the dragon howled in pain, his wrist obviously broken.
"I have to warn you, now would be a great time to leave this place and never bother these people again." Harkin drew his sword from the sheath. "The next time I strike it won't be to break bone."
Ocin fled the inn like a lightning bolt. The group of people that had gathered began to cheer. Harkin put his weapon away and sat back down at the counter to finish his water. I stared at him in amazement. He walked back up to his room once he had finished drinking. He didn't come out for a long time. After about five hours of his voice dancing about in my head I decided to talk to him. I made a plate of the lunch I had prepared for the guests and walked upstairs to his room.
"Harkin, I made you a plate for lunch," I walked into the room. He was sitting motionless on the bed, staring out at the light drizzle that was starting to fall. I set the food on his bedside table, he hadn't touched dinner. As I started to walk out he spoke.
"You own this place?"
"Me? No, my parents do. My mom returned about an hour ago but my dad is still in town taking care of some things.." I walked back over to him and stood next to the window. He didn't look at me though.
"I see. Are all of your family members snow leopards like you?"
"Well some of my older family member are canines. My parents are both snow leopards though, as is my sister." He looked at me with a curious face when I had finished.
"You have a sister?"
"Yes but she left over a year ago. I haven't seen her since."
"Is it hard on you?" He cocked an eyebrow.
"Not seeing her? She's my twin so I do miss her at times, but for the most part I've just had to get used to her not being around." I smiled at him. He seemed satisfied by my answer and went back to watching the rain. I started to leave after a moment but he grabbed my hand.
"Please stay." It sounded like he was pleaing with me. I took my spot back by the window.
"You were looking out at the rain all last night as well. May I ask why?"
"The rain reminds me of my parents." He put it shortly and it felt to me like there was more to the story so I decided to push the subject some.
"Do you see them often?"
"My parents are dead." He said it with a lack of emotion that was almost terrifying but I quickly realized he was merely hiding it and I sat down on the bed beside him.
"I'm sorry to hear that."
"Don't say that. You don't really care."
"I do. If I didn't than you'd still be out in the rain."
He fell silent for a moment. He put his hand in mine and I held it tight. The signs of affection steadily grew until he was in my lap with his head on my chest. By then I was wondering what I had gotten myself into but I decided to go with it. He seemed pretty nice.
"You're very warm." He stated very matter-of-factly.
"Thank you." He looked adorable like this. I lifted his chin up and his eyes dodged mine. By the time I got him to look me in the eyes I was easily able to tell that he'd been crying silently. My mind screamed for me to kiss him. I decided that was what I wanted to do and planted my lips firmly on his.
To my surprise he didn't fight back. He wrapped his arms around my neck and pushed into the kiss. I stopped it as I felt myself get hard but it didn't seem like he wanted to quit there. He ran his hand down my stomach and worked my balls, cock, and sheath out into the air.
"Hey!" I tried to stand but he looked at me with confusion in his eyes.
"Isn't this what you wanted?" The question made me pause and think. I had come this far I might as well keep going so I sank back down onto the bed and he began to stroke me until my cock was standing at full attention, throbbing and leaking a thick glob of pre. His paws were soft and skilled, seeking out my most sensitive spots with the greatest of ease. Even my balls weren't safe from his erotic assault. When I thought I was going to cum he stopped to let me calm back down. Each time he did this my cock responded with another thick glob of pre. For a while he used this as a way to lube my shaft, causing that much more pleasure to burn its way through my body. He seemed to get bored after a while but suddenly a wicked grin flashed across his face. He licked the pre off the tip of my throbbing rod and started to suck, I dug my hands into the bed.
My instincts kicked in from the intense waves of pleasure and soon enough I was humping up into his mouth. My knot was forming and began to bump against his lips with every shiver-causing thrust. My claws ripped the sheets as my knot quickly reached its full size and only a scant few seconds later I was almost screaming my way through the most powerful, and voluminous, orgasm I'd ever experienced. It took all the restraint I had to keep myself from alerting everyone in the inn to what was going on inside the room. I panted heavily after I came down from the heavenly afterglow. Harkin licked his lips as he watched me contentedly. I was trying hard to stay awake but that orgasm had drained me of my strength. The last thing I saw before falling victim to the darkness was Harkin's smiling face.
It was dark out when I finally woke up. I looked around for Harkin but he wasn't there. When I stood I realized my bag of gold coins was gone and I cursed myself for letting him get the better of me. I found a note stuck to the door. It read:
Sorry. Really really I am. But I need this money. If I live through my upcoming ordeal I promise I will return it to you. Think of it as an investment.
-Harkin
I didn't care so much about the money but I felt in my heart that I needed to go after him. My father always told me that one day I'd find what I was meant for and this felt like it. According to my mother Harkin had left the inn only a few hours earlier. I apologized to her and she looked at me with a knowing look in her eyes. She told me to tell my father goodbye. I gathered a pack of clothes and my father's old greatsword. I stopped by his door on my way out but I couldn't bring myself to face him. My mother stopped me just at the door and gave me some gold to aid me in my travels. She made me promise I'd return one day and that if I found my sister to let her know how much the family missed her. I gave her one last hug before I headed into the street to begin my hunt for Harkin.
