#1 of Crucifixion

In all the ages, in the entire world throughout history there has been no more cruel a death than that by crucifixion. Beware if you lack steel in your soul because this story will probably disgust you but it does show one thing a person's ability to rise above the pain to a great power.

Crucifixion: This is only the Beginning

It had been two decades since the banning of sorcery but still the powers emerged from time to time but they were progressively weaker each time. The banning of the art of magic is due to actions of the most powerful of mage ever seen, his name was Kinov he was born to magic but he had only a weak skill. The story goes that one midwinter's night that bandits descended upon the town of his dwelling and rose a terrible slaughter during the fighting Kinov killed the bandit king, in retribution they tortured Kinov in ways to terrible to speak and they say something inside him snapped, nothing of bone but something inside his soul and what came from that is terrible to speak.

It is said that Kinov rose from the ground a feat no mortal man could match because of the fierce nature of his wounds but in a single gesture he healed himself and began a slaughter so great its effects are still felt amongst the bandits today. Now they say during the one of his slaughters the King rode in to help a man seemingly besieged by bandits, how wrong he was, Kinov slaughtered the bandits and in his rage turned and warped the mind of the King with mere words to make him his servant.

Kinov ruled the kingdom for twenty years until he was struck down by a fever of the heart and in his death his power was broken and the King released from the bindings on his mind. The King's fury was great in the face of what Kinov had forced him to do and in his anger he banned the use of magic.

Now you may wonder who is telling you this, the answer is simply I am, I am going to tell you the story of the man who broke the ban of magics and took the Kingdom to his rule because of the idiocy of the once controlled King.

The soldiers broke into the house their swords creating an impassable wall of sharp steel "Where the hell is the dragon?" one of the soldiers hissed

Inside the house T'kras smiled, the soldiers would leave soon enough no-one was dumb enough to invade his home, the soldiers advanced forwards cautiously all very aware of just how dangerous the house was.

T'kras stepped over to the wall and placed his hands on one of the supporting beams and gave it a firm shove, this caused a large crack to appear in the wall and also destabilised the roof. Once he was outside T'kras shoved the wall in the same placed pushing the beams to the breaking point and then with a mighty groan the roof fell in burying the legionaries.

"Bloody roofs" T'kras laughed to himself as he left the ruins of his last house

T'kras walked into the bar which unfortunately was hosting the commander of the legionaries "Shit" T'kras swore as he burst back out onto the street with the commander's personal guards behind him

"Fuck, fuck and Fuck" T'kras yelled as he rounded the corner and dived under the flashing blade of a legionary

T'kras was back on his feet almost instantly running past the legionary, T'kras used his dagger and the legionary fell dead before he hit the ground

T'kras spotted an alley and smiled "See ya" he shouted behind him as he turned into the alley

The legionaries put on an extra burst of speed but when they entered the alley there was no sign of T'kras. Above the watching from the roof of a house T'kras smiled it was easy enough to jump between the two buildings to get high enough to get onto the roof.

The legionaries stumbled around for another hour but eventually left "Well that solves that problem" T'kras mused "But how am I going to get out of town?"

He didn't really have all that long but he did figure out a way to get out of town and he knew there wasn't going to be a legionary where he was going. T'kras slugged his way through the sewers "This smell makes me wonder whether or not I should have escaped" he groaned. He was right the sewers positively stank which meant that the legionaries weren't coming down whether T'kras could get the smell off him was another matter.

"Bloody fucking legionaries, it's not like I wanted these powers" T'kras cursed as he pushed his way through the sewerage

"Who told them?" he cursed as he nearly slipped

"Who?" T'kras wondered

T'kras was so intent on guessing who had ratted on him that he walked right into the slime incrusted wall "Whoever..." T'kras started through his teeth then gave the wall a shove

The wall swung back revealing an exit into the valley beyond the town "As long as they don't have dogs I am fine" T'kras said to himself

At that moment the sky chose to break open and rain poured down "Greeeat, just fucking great" T'kras cursed as he headed towards the roads that would lead him to other towns and safety in only for a while

When T'kras reached the road he saw two travellers who appeared fairly well off 'I wonder what's in their purses' T'kras thought.

Twenty minutes later and a few raps to the head the two travellers lying unconscious by the side of the road and T'kras now had a full purse of imperial gold. T'kras was in a better mood than when he had left the town but it still irked him that he had to leave before he could grab his gear from the tavern basement.

"Well fuck it; I have enough money to set myself up somewhere else" T'kras said to himself "The only question is where do I go? Could head to merchant city of Droldemas, the Imperial city or Kesharak of the camp of the bandits"

T'kras sauntered down the road, where was he to go. Of course the Imperial city was out of the question and Droldemas had a few to many people who might recognise him so T'kras decided he would go to Kesharak no-one cared who the hell you were as long as you had money and T'kras had money those travellers had was enough to pay a small army.

That fact crossed T'kras mind for an instant but he was beyond caring, he had enough money to live in any city in the whole god damned world, T'kras thought his luck was looking up.

Kesharak had come into T'kras view, it would take a poet to describe the city and a sailor to say the words, Kesharak was the most immoral, filthy and loathsome city in the world, Perfect.

T'kras wandered through the aimless streets of the big city he had been here once before and had left in even more a hurry than he left his most recent home. He tried to remember what the problem was, he was certain it wasn't about magic maybe it was about a girl nah or maybe it was about something he appropriated now that seemed much more likely.

T'kras knew about three ways into and out of every city in the world; it wasn't because of his magic it was because he possessed an insatiable desire to know what happened to be in a rich man's purse which led him into trouble more often than not. Okay so it always led to trouble but it also had led T'kras to every city in world.

"Hey dragon boy" a voice shouted from a window and T'kras dived aside just barely avoiding a bucket of slops, this was an old trick T'kras had done it himself a few times what you did was lob something foul onto a passerby they chase you, you knock them unconscious and rob them simple and efficient. The fact that someone would do that to him suggested that everyone had forgotten his last visit, he hoped.

T'kras spotted what appeared to be a decent inn but here who could tell, T'kras walked through the doorway expecting the worst and hoping for the best. It actually turned out to be decent; T'kras paid the innkeeper and went to his room.

T'kras crashed into his bed and laid there for a while then he sat up and said "You can come out I know you're here"

There was a muffled curse from the closet "How did you know?" asked a rather attractive snake indignantly

"One: try breathing softer just because I can see you don't mean I can't hear and two: don't move at all" T'kras said bluntly

"How would you know?" she demanded

"You people have such short memories" T'kras groaned

"What are you talking about?" she continued

"Ten years ago or can't you remember back that far" T'kras mocked

"No way you're not the thief" she asserted

"Why not?" T'kras asked slyly

"You are in the rich quarter plain and simple" she said

"The money in my purse is new, fresh from a couple of friends on the road" T'kras laughed

"Bullshit I've never seen that money anywhere but the imperial treasury" she said stubbornly

"Where did you say you, you saw this?" T'kras asked quietly

"The imperial treasury why?" she replied

"Well when I say from the road I mean it" T'kras said meaningfully

"Oh shit no" she said slowly

"Ah yeah" T'kras replied and strode over to the window and opened it

"What are you doing?" the snake asked

"Getting the hell outta here" T'kras said quickly grabbing his stuff and taking a look at the money before throwing it in a corner in disgust

"Why?" she demanded

"Well consider this an imperial robbery has taken place and so the word is circulated to watch for this money and someone who looks like he doesn't own it, so the second I spent that money word would have been sent to the guard and they are either on their way or beneath us" T'kras said distractedly as he climbed out of the window

"Where are you going?" she demanded

"Look I'll put this so you can understand it the guard are here and they coming to the room, you leave by that door you are dead so I plan to leave by the roof now are you coming with me?" T'kras asked hurriedly

The sounds of boots on the stairs pushed the snake over to T'kras "I swear if we get caught I'll kill you" she hissed

"I never get caught otherwise I'd be dead" T'kras laughed childishly then lead the reluctant snake over the rooftops of the city

It took the better part of an hour but it was finally done, they had reached the city walls "Impressive" noted the snake

"Thank you though I have one question. What's your name?" T'kras asked

"A'kra" she said simply "Now how the hell are we getting out of here?"

"Whoa how said anything about we? I saved your ass because I didn't want you describing me nothing else" T'kras said bluntly

"Well, the thing is the bartender knows I was up there and since they didn't grab me I am probably wanted now so you are taking me with you" A'kra said with an air of finality

"Fine, whatever just don't get in my way" T'kras said throwing his hands in the air

"Follow me" T'kras said after he calmed down

T'kras knew his way out he had used it before when he left last time and it appear as if no-one had ever found it, that was good at least he wouldn't have to be seen with this total incompetent.

"Come on the longer we stay here the more likely well be found" T'kras said urgently tugging on A'kra's arm

A'kra stood still for a moment more than followed T'kras out of the city of thieves, bandits and guards.

"What the hell do you mean lost him" bellowed the King

"He vanished from the city sir" replied the captain of the guard

"How hard could it be to kill one bloody dragon? Captain I want him dead" the King said in a deadly tone

The Captain of the Guard marched out of the King's room ashen faced "Absolutely incompetent" the King growled after the captain had left

"Get me the Assassin" the King ordered and two courtiers rushed to fulfil the King's orders

Within minutes the Assassin was on his way and it was obvious. All the hallways he walked through the conversation died and the light seemed to dim. No man of knowledge could mistake the Assassin for another; he exuded death and seemed to be the very embodiment of Reaper, the God of Death.

"What is your will?" asked the Assassin in a hollow voice

"You will track down and kill the dragon known as T'kras" the King said simply

The Assassin turned and left, in his heart it burned him to know that he took the orders of a mere mortal man but the King had something that could pose a great danger to him. The King knew the Assassin's real name, the Assassin magic drew from his knowledge of his true name and the power from it without it he was powerless. The King knew his true name and so could stop him from using his magic thereby preventing him from extinguishing more lives and it burned the Assassin, it burned him as his name rang clearly in his ears, Sidi.

"Bloody hell keep up" T'kras shouted at A'kra

"Shut the fuck up wiseass" A'kra yelled in reply

This was about the time when T'kras realised that A'kra wasn't a thief at all, in fact when he looked at what happened in the room carefully A'kra must be someone of high rank because she had actually seen Imperial Gold and the Imperial Treasury.

T'kras sat down miserably "Who the fuck are you really?" he asked

"What are you talking about?" A'kra demanded

"Oh come on you must have known I'd catch on sooner or later. You have mentioned the fact you have seen the Imperial Treasury, you can't keep up at an easy pace and you were in an exclusive inn" T'kras informed her "So the question remains who are you?"

A'kra sat beside him "Do I have to answer?" she asked innocently

"I'd rather if you did. I want to know what you have brought upon me" T'kras said uncaringly

"Hey I don't need that" A'kra said quietly "Alright my father is the Governor of Droldemas"

T'kras flopped onto the ground as a sense of total defeat crashed down around him "Why me?" he moaned

T'kras lay on the ground for a few minutes "What the fuck am I going to do?" he groaned "Why the fuck were you in my room?"

"I needed to hide" she said simply

"From who?" T'kras asked

"My father" A'kra replied

"Why?" T'kras pushed

"He wanted to marry to some stuck-up prince in some far away land" A'kra burst out

T'kras raised his eyebrows "You ran away because of that" he said bluntly "I don't think you understand my situation. I was running from those guards before the gold incident, I have small gift for magic"

"Oh fuck" A'kra breathed out a stepped back slightly

"Oh stop it I don't have any real power" T'kras snapped

"What do you mean?" A'kra asked curiously

"You don't get it do you? Kinov was one of a kind there hasn't been another since him and with the King's edict I doubt there will ever be another" T'kras snarled "I don't have that kind of power"

"What do you mean?" A'kra replied

"Oh come on you have seen it, soldiers killing anyone who shows any signs of possessing magic, that is what I am talking about" T'kras sighed frustrated "I have been running for so long and I am sick of it"

"Then why don't you fight?" A'kra asked innocently

"Yeah and I'd last about two seconds, if I was lucky" T'kras snapped back

"Then what can you do?" A'kra demanded

"Nothing, all I do is run and hide and you know what that has kept me alive for a very long time. I reckon I am the oldest magic user" T'kras nearly shouted

"Bullshit" A'kra hissed

"Well let's see that King of yours went on a murder spree on the magic users of this country after he got his mind back. When that was over nearly everyone was dead and not many have remerged" T'kras said grimly

A'kra just sat there for a few minutes "Well, where would you go from here?" she asked finally

"To an abandoned city something Hyran'Tin or possible Kyrrin" T'kras mused "No-one has used them for centuries and they probably hid a fair few people who didn't wish to be found"

"They won't search there?" A'kra asked dubiously

"To much trouble" T'kras answered "More death traps in those citadels than there are people in the world"

"How would we survive?" A'kra continued

"You think I'd go there if I didn't know the path through" T'kras mocked

"Good point. Have you been there before?" A'kra questioned

"Once and it turned out quite well, feels like home" T'kras said

"What do mean?" A'kra asked

"Well I never knew my father and I can't exactly remember my mother's name. I never knew a home before Kyrrin and it was bloody strange" T'kras explained

"Do many people live there?" A'kra asked curiously

"Quite few and most are magic users. They have power but strange power, most are Oracles, soothsayers and beast-talkers. Strange magic but magic nonetheless if the King knew it would signify the total end to magic" T'kras said grimly "If you enter Kyrrin you must never speak of it to anyone, understand?"

A'kra nodded slowly "I understand" she said

"Good then let's get the hell out of here" T'kras said hurriedly

T'kras led A'kra to the mountain pass that led into the mountains that concealed the great citadels of ages past. Two times they had to seek shelter in the caves of the mountains to hide from the legionaries who combed the mountains, looking for them.

"They're persistent if nothing" T'kras breathed out as legionaries walked only a few meters from there hiding place

A'kra stood frozen in silence until the legionaries had left then rounded on T'kras "They could have heard you" she hissed

"Not likely" T'kras laughed "You nearly shat yourself when I spoke. They were wearing earmuffs and thick ones at that, they wouldn't hear you walking behind them"

"You fucker" she hissed at T'kras

T'kras was practically howling with laughter at that point.

Thump, the Captain of the Droldemas hit the wall hard and slid down it slowly when he reached the ground the Assassin strode over "I will ask you again. Is there another way out of the city besides the gates?" he growled out

"Yes" the Captain choked out "There are holes in some of the older parts of the walls. He could have escaped that way"

"Why didn't you dispatch men?" the Assassin questioned

"I had no idea where he was. The city is to large to search so I had my men search the surrounding area there was nothing I could have done" the Captain snarled

"You should have acted faster" the Assassin said hollowly

"Well one man can't very well break down a reinforced door" the Captain spat back

"Indeed" the Assassin said darkly "I need weapons and food"

"What the fuck are you talking about?" the Captain snarled at the Assassin

"Well your incompetence allowed the dragon to escape, so now I have to hunt him down" the Assassin said cuttingly

"How can you find him?" the Captain asked venomously

"Reaper shall guide me" the Assassin spoke quietly but those words had a severe effect on the Captain

The Captain shuddered with the silent force behind those words "Fine you'll have want you need" he replied

The Assassin smiled and left the Captain leaning against the wall, things were going his way and he didn't even have to kill anyone it was going to be a good day.

T'kras finally got the fire going "Finally I thought that bloody wood would never light" he laughed

"Well a fire is nice but what can we eat?" A'kra asked

"Marmots are curious I'll be back in twenty minutes" T'kras said shortly

T'kras strode out to road, it didn't take long, and marmots are naturally curious and have a habit of standing straight making them an ideal target for a sling. T'kras came back twenty minutes later with four marmots "I found dinner" he said shortly

The marmots were soon roasting over the fire "I think I should warn you" T'kras said slowly "There is a chance albeit a small one that we may encounter a race known as the Charon. They are strange, if we encounter them don't speak to them or even look at them, just let me deal with them"

"Who are the Charon?" A'kra asked

"They are the most ancient race, even the King's Army couldn't conquer them, they possess something akin to magic but they use artefacts to control their magic and those artefacts tend to make them a little strange" T'kras explained

"Really? What do they look like?" A'kra asks

"Like everyone else, they are just an old civilization that never left the mountains" T'kras said simply

"Interesting" A'kra said then smiled "You know this is the first time I have been without my father's men or my father constantly watching me"

T'kras looked shocked "That's a bit strange" he admitted "Why did he do that?"

"Priests wanted me for some death cult or something" A'kra said uncertainly

"What death cult?" T'kras asked painfully

"Something about Reaper, I think" A'kra said dubiously

"Oh shit" T'kras swore "We have to go now"

"What is it?" A'kra asked anxiously

"They didn't want to kill you or anything; they wanted to turn you into the next Assassin" T'kras said hurriedly as he packed the camp destroying all signs of them having being there.

"What do you mean?" A'kra asked

"They wanted to make you into the ultimate force of nature" said a merry voice from above them "They wanted to make you into death"

"Bloody hell" T'kras swore as he saw the figure

"Thought I was I dead?" the figure asked happily

"You should be" T'kras replied

"I told you I'd survive" the figure said mockingly

"How did you survive?" T'kras asked curiously

"That's a tale better told around a warm fire, safe from the Assassin and the legionaries of the Imperial Army

"Good idea let's go" T'kras laughed

The Assassin stood at the foot of the mountains, he looked out towards the mountains that were quickly becoming the centrepiece in a massive blizzard that would freeze both man and beast in midstride "Run, run, run away little dragon and run far for I will find you" the Assassin spoke to the air and began towards the mountains.

T'kras and A'kra followed the figure through the growing snowstorm, due to the snowstorm they didn't see Kyrrin until the last moment but that view was enough to strike the breath from even the bravest of men.

"One hell of a view isn't it" the figure cried over the howling of the wind

"Got that right" T'kras yelled back "Welcome to Kyrrin, home to those who don't wish to be found"

"You said you had been here only once before" A'kra said confusedly

"Yeah around four years" T'kras replied

"Four years?" A'kra asked

"Yeah and in that time he made some really stupid things happen" the figure shouted

"Oh shut up" T'kras replied "How long till the gate way is open?"

"Five, ten minutes not long" the figure said

"Who is that?" A'kra asked

"Old friend, he is one of the Charon" T'kras said shortly

"I thought you said not to talk to the Charon" A'kra said

"I did but this guy is probably the only normal-like Charon" T'kras laughed

"Normal-like?" A'kra asked dubiously

"Yeah he is still a fair bit strange but mostly normal" T'kras explained

The old gates shuddered and moved, the gate sild into the wall making a passage wide enough for a hundred men to walk abreast and not even touch the sides.

"I'll never get over that" T'kras said as he smiled

"Behold one of the greatest feats of engineering" the figure said dramatically "The gate slides into the wall when retracted and slides into the other wall when extended. Absolutely impenetrable"

"He still has no idea how it works" T'kras whispered to A'kra

"I heard that" the figure said darkly

"Why don't you take off the disguise now" T'kras replied

"Not out here, let's go to my house" the figure said quickly

"Finally" T'kras said through his teeth

Again they followed the mysterious figure through the streets, all the while with snow pouring down upon them; finally the figure stopped outside a fairly solid looking house and went to the door.

The figure slipped something into the door and it swung wide open to reveal a warm-looking, well furnished household.

"Welcome to my humble home" the figure mocked before slipping inside

T'kras shook his head and followed him in beckoning A'kra to follow him but slowly he wasn't to sure what his friend had done to his house.

"Wow" T'kras breathed out as he saw the innards of the house "Well I can say this is the best thing you have ever done to this house"

"I agree it is much better than my previous one" the figure said now shedding his coats to reveal the muscled body of a jackal, his fur was silver and his eyes were gold

A'kra gave a hiss of shock as she saw the insides of the house, it was almost a complete clone of the royal throne room, and "How did you do this?" A'kra asked

"In my sleep" the jackal answered shortly

"He is serious" T'kras confirmed "I used to sleep here and every week the room was different"

A'kra laughed "No really, how does he do it?"

"He does it in his sleep" T'kras said again "He makes things in his sleep, weapons, armour, toys, technology and of course he redoes the room once every week"

"Well I'll leave you two to talk, I am going to my Idyll" the jackal said then walked up the stairs

T'kras groaned "I hate it when he does that"

"What do you mean?" A'kra asked

"His Idyll is the tower of the building" T'kras replied "It's where he sleeps"

"Okay, where do we sleep?" A'kra questioned

"Anywhere that looks comfortable" T'kras sighed

"Hey T'kras I'd like to thank you for everything you did for me" A'kra said slowly

"Its fine" T'kras replied "Hell it's the same way I ended up here"

"Really?" A'kra asked

"Yeah, on the run from Imperials but not the Assassin" T'kras explained

"Who is the Assassin?" A'kra continued

"To be honest no knows" T'kras admitted "All I know is that it is a guy around twenty years and by the sounds of it, those priests are after a new Assassin which means he has orders to find to you and being you back to their temple"

"Where is the temple?" A'kra asked

"I don't know and really I don't want to know" T'kras said concernedly "If you go there you won't come back as yourself but as a cold, heartless avatar"

"Avatar?" A'kra questioned

"Yeah the Assassin is Reaper's power here" T'kras said frankly

"So the Assassin is basically a walking god" A'kra said dubiously

"That's a fairly good description actually" T'kras said

"They want to turn me into that?" A'kra asked after a moment of shock

"Yah and if you don't want to get married I suggest you don't get caught because the Assassins marry each other, therein lies the reason that the Assassins go male then female" T'kras said

"You mean they are picked?" A'kra asked

"Yeah they are chosen through some arcane ritual" T'kras sighed "I seriously hope that the Assassin isn't after you, or me for that matter because no-one has ever evaded them"

A'kra leant out and kissed T'kras "Thank you" she breathed out

"My pleasure" T'kras replied and pulled her into his embrace

A'kra moaned as T'kras caressed her body, slowly he removed her clothes exposing her faultless body to him as he slid out of his clothes and into a deeper kiss.

T'kras let his fingers play across her folds slowly rubbing her coating his fingers in her juices "Like a drink?" he asked

"Why not" A'kra moaned and began sucking on T'kras' fingers

A'kra grinned as she felt T'kras cock bump into her backside "If that friend of yours interrupts this I will kill him, you realise" she said

T'kras laughed "He wouldn't"

T'kras slowly rubbed his length against A'kra's pussy lubing it in her juices and pressed in. A'kra huffed as the head of T'kras cock slipped inside of her; T'kras gently pushed deeper grinding his length into A'kra's ready depths.

A'kra cried out as T'kras gave a sudden thrust into her which T'kras quickly silenced with another kiss, smothering her cries in his mouth.

T'kras continued to pump A'kra with is length driving them both towards a peak of pleasure, A'kra moaned as she was pumped by T'kras cock which was brushing her g-spot making her moan with every thrust. T'kras kept humping A'kra like a man possessed

The Assassin stalked his way through the mountains and though the wind was freezing and the snow icy, he kept going and no element could touch him "Enjoy your life while you still can dragon" he groaned out as he pushed his way through the snow and Kyrrin filled his vision.

Smiling Wolf

Hey its Smiling Wolf, look I know this took a while to write but I was sick for a while and I had a fairly bad writers block but I feel this has some real potential.
