F.U.R: The Brotherhood Part 6

David gracefully lands on his feet, and he gets in a battle stance, but nothing comes at him. He starts to relax, then a tail knocks him off of his feet. He staggers to his feet, and sees the red dragon cracking his fingers, "I'm going to enjoy this tremendously."

David faces Archibald and he turns his fist into a solid block of ice. He quickly upper cuts him, leaving shards of ice in his chin. The dragon pulls the icicles out like they were nothing, and he threw them back.

David dodged one, and melted the other. He looked back to his enemy, and a scaly fist connected to the side of his head. Head ringing, He gets off from the ground he didn't remember falling on. He channels ice through his finger tips and long shards of glass-like ice shoot out from them.

With a quick dash, and an even faster slash aiming for his head. Archibald barely doges, then loops something around his neck, "Your anger makes you weak."

David feels the cord start to constrict his airway, then he grabs Archibald's hands. He turns the water in his skin to ice, and then breaks them off, leaving clean, shattered stumps. Archibald laughs, "Do you think that'll stop me?"

He holds up his hands, and then red lines of muscle shoot out of the stumps to wrap around the spike of bone that jutted out. The crimson fibers wrap around the bone, reconstructing the severed arm. When the muscle structure reforms, red scales replace themselves over his arms. He holds up his new arms, "You can't seem to get a break, can you!"

David lunges forward, ice claws extended, and slash at the dragon. Every hit immediately re-healed itself. David started to tire down, and that's when Archibald got a solid hit in. David stumbles, and all seemed lost, when-

HONK! HONK!

Archibald looks over, and a semi truck bursts through the wall, running him over. Bones gets out to help his partner up, "Hey, what took you so long?" David says relieved

"Traffic's a bitch when you don't have inter-spacial Roadways," Bones jokes.

Archibald rips himself out of the engine block, and moves towards Bones. Bones doges his attack, backflips over him, and pile-drives him in the head.

Bones gets thrown back has Archibald stands up, and thick industrial chains shoot from his arms; wrapping around both of his enemies, "You, and your idiotic team are WASTING MY TIME!"

VOIP!

Archibald blows up, and standing where he was, now stood a large black box. The hatch hurriedly opens, and an older looking Bones looks around, then yells, "GOD DAMNIT!!!" and he reactivates the time machine.

David and Bones stood there skepticly, "Either that was an INCREDIBLE stroke of luck, or the most anti-climactic thing I've ever seen!" Bones says, kicking a lump of fried flesh.

"We should leave," David says, "You go on ahead, I have to check something."

As bones leaves, he digs his hands into his pockets, and finds a whole. He looks over and sitting on the ground was a small velvet box.

?????

David walked onto the Hospital's 13th floor, (Author: Omnious, I know.) and he continues down the hallway. He stops at the door numbered 1337, and slaps his forehead.

He walks in, and the rest of him team was in there waiting for him. Bones' classic grin was on his face, he clearly picked the room out, "I pick the room out!" typical.

He looked at May on the bed. He was stopped by a doctor to ask him some medical questions. Afterwards, the doctor laughs, "You know, in all my training as a doctor, I have NEVER had to birth an egg before."

"Egg?" David questions.

"Your son, Captain"

"My.." David tried to sit down, but his excitement kept him back up, with a new invigorated smile, "I'M A FATHER!!!"

"...Not...yet..." he looks over at her, and sees an egg, appropriately, the size of a small child. He stares at it, "It takes another full month to hatch."

He rushes over to her, and hugs her and their egg. He think for a second, and pulls out the small box containing the ring, "I guess we have a month to plan the wedding, then."

She takes in the time to think, "You have been planing this since we left Saturn, you jerk!" she slaps his shoulder, jokingly, "Of course I'll marry you."

They all get excited, and the doctor shakes the new father's hand. They get so riled up, they didn't hear the door open, until the messenger talked.

"Captain Alexander?" a shy looking nurse (Author: Sorry, it's a female nurse) walks in.

"Yes?" David turns to see her.

"Colonel Winor just called, Shawn, the ferret, has been broken out of the Asylum."

A look of shock goes over his face, "Broken out? Did he have help? And if so, who helped him?"

"He didn't say, all he said was to tell you his exact words."

Shawn sat up from his bed, and he saw someone open his door. A somewhat skinny, but buff, polar bear urges him towards the doorway, "What's going on?" he asks.

"You're needed somewhere else Shawn," the bear said.

Shawn instantly recognised his voice, and got up. The bear threw him a suitcase, and Shawn started tearing down his artwork. Shovelling them into the bag, he was led out of the room and down the hallway. He sees into the other rooms, and he sees no one in any of them. He then walks through a huge hole in the wall where the guard's booth used to be. He tries to keep up with his long strides, but soon falls behind. The man stops, and lets the ferret catch up. He raises his hand, and pushes an invisible door open.

Shawn walked through, and stood in amazement, which dimmed down as he saw the location. It was the end of a long driveway, leading up to an old, worn house. Paint chipped in various spots, but the paint around the house numbers looked new. Four hand-carved numbers shone on the wall next to a plaque with the driveway's street number; 1417, Winston Drive

He looked around, and walked through the front door. He walked up the simple stair case, and down the hallway to a pure white door. The door creaked open and a human with long jet-black hair and a black and red business suit sat at a writing desk at the other side of the room. He hears a pencil snap, and he pushes the chair back, "Ah, Shawn, you're earlier than I thought you'd be."

"It's partly my fault, Sir," the Ursan who broke him out, says behind him, "I accidentally lost my cover when the guard on post was the person I was covering as, and I had to blow up half of the asylum," the man was about to say something in response, but waves it away.

Shawn thought for a second, but before he says anything, the man spins around, his red piercing eyes bore holes through his skull. The man rushes forward, and hugs the ferret, "It's been so long! Don't you recognise me?"

Shawn looks at him with a odd stare, "No, I-"

"Maybe this will help," he clears his throat, (Author: Do you recognise me now?)

Shawn's eyes grow wide, and return my embrace, "I knew you were real!"

"Of course, but I need you to help me with a side project."

"What would that be?"

I smile, and hand him a leather-bound folder, "I need you to finish what started it all! Everything is detailed in that folder."

He shakes my hand and Ulong, my polar bear body guard, shows him to his room that I prepared for him. I place my hands on the desk, and I turn back into my real form. A layer of Black fur spreads all over my body, and the red rings on my person grow vibrantly. I sigh to myself and take off my glasses, looking straight at my picture I've been drawing. A Grey wolf holding the mangled body of a red phoenix in a wedding dress. A crazed look in the wolf's eyes, but tears streaming down his furry face. I fold up the page, and place it in another folder, labeled "Futuristic Unbiased Reserve Army"

I set the leather-bound folder on a bookshelf, saying to myself, "I will make you break, David! You can't hold it in any longer, and I've seen it. Celebrate while you can..." I shut the light, and closed the door, "You'll never will afterwards!"
