He will not be known by fur or man, yet the beasts shall call to him.

He will belong to all, yet be owned by none, The beasts shall forever claim him

His name will rest within the shadows of the moon,

And his heart shall be found at high noon.

Every female will lust for him, and he might be swayed.

But none shall claim him, nor bar his intended.

When he comes of age, he will know, but only he will know.

His form shall be whatever he desires, for his coming will mark the end of one race.

Both Light and Dark will come to his aid, yet neither will vie for his favor.

The orders of Holy and Devilry will Kill him, But not ....

Fragmented Prophecy of Elviran the Prophetess.

The time is shortly before the middle of the Dark Ages. However, in the normal History of our planet there was not an enslaved race catering to every single whim of their captors. The creatures are the Furred.

They came to the planet by accident, a Human magician discovering the art of the mind, opened a portal to their world, and pulled them through. Ever since the first portal, Furres have been continually pulled into the human world. They have been used as slaves, as breeding material for their Feral forms, making smarter animals, but only to a point. The young brought into the world through the mating of a Furred and its Feral form, are always smarter, but they almost always go insane. For they can match a human in intelligence, but they are trapped, without words, without love, and constantly abused. That is also the reason why they are constantly put down after birth.

Now, after the Furrs had been on Mediaeval Earth for a Hundred years, One was born with the gift of Prophecy. When she reached her sixty-seventh year, she fortold of a time soon to come, about how a Child, a Human child, would be born to a Furred parent. This child would not be normal in the least. When he came of age nothing upon this world would be able to stop him, but only he would know When he came of age. Just before she revealed his race to the rest of the enslaved furrs with her, she was killed. A Guard had heard her prophecy, and finding it against his God, the Catholic believer killed the old Racoon fur. He then proceeded to systematically Cull every fur that he thought was involved. Which to him, meant Everyfur. One young kit escaped the destruction, and spread the rumor to everyfur that she could.

It was first relearned by the Fox's, who were her people, it was then retold to the Wolves, and from there, it reached every fur left on the planet, but it spread most quickly through the furs that were used as sex slaves. Among the Prostitutes were one family. They were unlike other furrs for one reason. They had the use of Magicka. They were being offered to their Gods when the portal opened and sucked them through to Earth. Every day the live now, they are greatful for. In their world, those with magick are despised, and only for one little flaw. Well, one big flaw actually. You see, the Magick that was incorporated into every Fur was very small, and they would normally be fine, but every once in awhile a Furr was born with an enormous gift for Magicka. Unfortunately, the gift for magicka isn't as picky as it should be, and more often than not it picks the wrong person to wield it, therefore every furr known to be able to wield magicka is offered to their gods as a living sacrifice. Unknown to this family of two is their fate in the prophecy. The Male is called Ahndras, and the Female is called Cahsvan, both are Horse Morphs, and that, strangely enough, is the reason that both of them were allowed to live together. Ahndras had been sold to many many clients in the few years that he had been on Earth. Most were female, but there were quite a few males that would remain nameless that also wished to experience him. Due to his extreme dislike, the charge for a single night was outrageous, so that only the very wealthy could afford it. The few who could afford his price never looked back on their decision. Cahsvan, was exactly the same, though her prefferances were reveresed. Through all their hardships, persecutions, and their secret, they prevailed, and Cahsvan fell pregnant. Both the horse morphs, and their 'Owner' were very much surprised. After a very heated discussion about whether the mare should be put down before her foal was born. She was allowed to keep it after the public found out, and requests for her were increased three fold. The ten months of her pregnancy passed rather quickly, though three months after she found out, Ahndras was killed by a client when he refused to perform. She had cried fiercely when she heard the horrendous news. She was allowed three days to grieve, afterwards she was constantly worked to exhaustion. When the night finally came, it was dark, it was cold, and there was thunder every third or fourth second.

The Birth

"Push Cahsvan, Push." Whispered the Furred Midwife, "If it doesn't come out soon, it'll die, So Push!"

Cahsvan screamed with the pain, and decided to risk using her magicka to quieten, and lesson her pain. Lightning flashed, and Struck the cobble stones directly outside of Cahsvan's room, and apart from screaming again, she used the momentary distraction to push her first child out of her body, and into this new world.

She cried softly about all the troubles they had been through, and all the troubles that would be yet to come. She was reminded by the assistant nurse to push out the after birth as well, she made a joke about it that made her smile. She followed through with the request, and fell back upon her ragged bed, finally feeling happy and peacefull for the first time in years. She quietly slipped away into the darkness, while the midwife and her assistant stood stunned by what was in their hands, for they held a newborn baby boy. A Human baby boy.

"Calinvah," Whispered the old Midwife, "You realise what this means don't you?" Calinvah nodded.

"It means that very soon he will be hunted by everyone, unless we find a way to get him out of here now." She spoke, her eyes widening. She turned to the Mare, and gently shook her, not really wanting to wake her, but wanting to tell her the massive event that just took place. "Miss Cahsvan? Miss Cahsvan?" She shook alittle harder. "Miss Cahsvan, please wake up. There is someone here that you should meet." She felt a hand upon her shoulder, and looked up into the sad eyes of the old midwife.

"Leave her be child, she can't hear you, not any more." The midwife looked down, and hugged the newborn male she held. "We must leave Calinvah, they will be coming soon, and the child needs to be found a home, where he can be raised by us, and Not the humans." She looked up at a knock on the door, and a Large voice asked if everything was alright. She paused momentarily, then quickly responded. "Everything is just fine sir, She only needs a little time to Recuperate." She gestured for Calinvah to head to the window, and looked down at the babe that hadn't yet made a sound. Calinvah reached the window, and looked back, wondering what was going to happen. "Look down Calinvah, the ground is only a few feet away. Do you think that you could jump that distance safely?"

Calinvah nodded, and Jumped out of the window. She landed badly upon her right Paw, but she ignored the burst of pain, and turned back up to face the midwife framed in the window.

There was a sudden and loud bashing upon the room door. "Listen here fur. The proprietor of this fine establishment would like her room back, and she has given us her permission to breakdown this door inorder to get it back. Now unlock it and let us in." The old midwife made up her mind. She leaned out of the window, and hurriedly signalled Calinvah with one hand, the other holding the hope of the entire furred race. "Calinvah, Take the babe and run, I won't be able to stall them for long. Get him out of the city, and run for your lives. She dropped the babe, and watched in horror as Calinvah missed her catch, and the babe landed in a full basket of water. Both stared at the child who should have been dead. The door behind her splintered, and Burst inwards. " Grab the Babe and Run Calinvah. RUN!" She screamed as a large hand grabbed her thin tail, and pulled.

Calinvah Grabbed the child from the basket, and dried him off as much as she could, her small feline tabby body rather thoroughly soaked as well. She looked up at the shadow lit room, and cried through the rain. "Goodbye mother." She cried, and ran blindly through the streets. Wanting nothing more than to survive the night with her race's saviour.

That was not meant to be.

Calinvah had been running through the City streets, when she ran full tilt into a City guard.

"Well, den. Whad do we 'ave 'ere?" He paused, looking over her stunned form. "Lookie Mike," He gestured to his partner. "We gods ourselves one of dems furr persons. Whad do you dink id is dat we should be doing? Huh Mike, Huh?

Mike looked over his partners shoulder. He was relatively new to the city's guards, and his youth betrayed him well before anything else did. "Why can't you just leave 'em alone Darnik? She hasn't done anything."

Darnik turned to his partner, "And how would you knows dis Mike? She's jusd god here, she was running preddy hard. So eider she dids somat bad, or she's runin' from 'er owner. Which does ya dink id is?" Unfortunately for Calinvah, the babe she was holding chose that moment to express its distaste at being cold and wet. He was Very Expressive. Darnik turned back to Calinvah, and noticed the newborn that she was holding. He reached down and picked him up. "Lookit Mike, She bin carryin' a babe. Ya dink she's so innasent now?"

Mike Glared at Darnik. "Of course I do, she coulda been taking it back to it's parents or something." Please gods, let her be doing that, and not stealing it, please.

Calinvah came to during this discussion about her. She decided that it was best not to move at the present point in time, but she was still worried about the babe. She risked opening her eyes enough to see through the rain. There were two of them, and they were talking about her. Her and the babe, and what she was doing with him, this was not good. She slowly moved her paw to her shirt sleeve, hoping to get a firm grasp of her blade before they realised what she was doing.

"Lookit Mike, she's awake." Were the only words he could get out before she jumped up, and slit Mike's throat. "SHID! ! !" Darnik did the only thing he could think of. He held up the babe to defend himself as he grabbed for his sword.

"You Heartless Bastard. Your dam never should have birthed you. You are a complete waste upon the human clan." Screamed Calvinah at Darnik, for that was what she believed.

"I may be a hardless Basdurd, bud I can sdill dake ya on ya Furball." He sneared as his sword cleared its scabbard. He swung an overhaed blow, which Calvinah blocked, but she cried out as the force of the blow near shattered her bones. Her eyes widened as she realised her chances for living through this were now almost zero. She twisted away from his next thrust, getting her left arm sliced as she didn't turn quickly enough. "Dake dat Furball" Darnik grinned, then did a sweeping blow, catching Calvinah in the chest. He grinned again, and kicked her down to the cobbles. He raised his blade, grinning maniacally at the look of fear and sadness within her eyes. He placed a foot upon her chest, and stabbed her through her heart. He watched her blood flow from her chest and mouth, and couldn't help being turned on by all the blood. He grinned again. "Well, apard from Mike 'ere this is sdardin' da durn oud do a good nighd." The newborn cried, feeling the cold and wet and wanting to be warm again. "Shaddup ya liddle basdurd, you're goin' da where you'll be cared for, and nod by me eider." He glanced back to Mike, and the Furred corpse. "Sorry Mike, bud I'll dell da wadch where ya are when I'm finished wid da fur." He jostled the baby, and headed off towards the rich families adoption house. If nothing else he could at least give the boy a good home.

The Orphanage

Mistress Fahl had been running the orphanage for the last thirty years, and was rapidly approaching her elderly years, especially with all the brats hanging around the damned hell hole. There was a loud bashing upon the orphanage's door. If the children hadn't of been asleep in the back rooms, it would have woken them up. "This night is deffinately not my night." Fahl got up from her cosy fire place chair, and went to the front door of the Orphanage. "If this isn't inportant, I'm gonna reeport ya to the city guards." She threatened the knocker.

"Jusd open da door Fahl, I god a guesd for ya."

"Damn it Darnik, if this is just another one of your bastard brats, i'm not taking it in." Fahl opened the door to a completely soaked Darnik, and what appeared to be a newborn baby.

"Id ain' one a mine Fahl, I caugh' a furr wid it. She was daking id away from some where else. Ya could dell da crier dat ya found id, and dat you was willin' da give id back for a price. He is a good boy dough, 'e ain' never cried more dan once, if id wasn'd for me carryin' 'im, I would forgodden aboud 'im."

Fahl opened the door wider, and recieved her first full view of the boy. She had been right, he was nothing more than a newborn. She was actually surprised that he was still alive, if a newborn was exposed to cold too long, they tended to die. She made her decision, and took the child from Darnik, and placing a silver in his waiting hand.

"Dankyee Miss Fahl. I'll beh go'in' now." He ducked out from under the door frame, and started to jog to where he found the boy, hoping to get back to the fur before she became too waterlogged to be doing anything with.

Mistress Fahl watched him leave, slightly apprehensive. It was well past one in the morning, and Darnik just shows up with a child? She looked to the newborn, checked him over, and decided that he was deffinately male, and he hadn't been circumsised yet. She tsked, and called for a house slave. "Shanaar get in here, We have a new guest."

Shanaar woke up to the overly loud voice of her mistress calling her. She had learned long ago how to become a light sleeper. and how to fall asleep at the drop of a pin. It was just how you survived with the constant demands. "Coming Mistress Fahl." she yelled through the floor boards. She dashed up the stairs, and went to the front door, where mistress Fahl was still standing with the newborn. She bowed to her mistress, "You called Mistress Fahl?"

Mistress Fahl glanced at the Young racoon morph. "Yes, we have a new guest, (She thrust the newborn upon the fur), and it will be your job to take care of him from this point onwards."

Shanaar took the babe, and bowed to her mistress. "Yes Mistress Fahl."

"Good, I'm going back to my seat, I want you to feed him now, and take care of him. I don't want him with the others." Mistress Fahl walked back to her spot by the fireplace in the next room, sat, and began to enjoy the cosy fire once again.

Shanaar waited for her to leave, then looked at the human child with distaste. "Not only have i gotta feed you, but your now my responsability. A fifteen year old fur should not have to do this." She watched him roll into her furred form, wanting the heat of her body. "I may have to look after you, but I promise you this. Your life with me will be nothing but Hell. You humans should stick to your own kind." She walked out of the orphanage, with the babe in one arm, and headed towards the milking shed behind it. "Hello girls," She said with a smile. "You miss me?"

Several loud moo's proclaimed that the occupants inside did indeed miss her. Shanaar walked to the nearest stall, got down a stool and a clean bucket, and asked the cow if she could gather her milk. Dancer answered with another loud moo. Shanaar placed the babe next to her, and started milking Dancer.

Ten miutes later, she was finished, and when she reached for her charge, she found that he had disappeared. Her system was immediately flooded with adrenaline. She looked everywhere within the stall. He was just a newborn, he shouldn't be able to do more than wave his arms and legs. She carefully stepped ot of the stall, and noticed a bitch hiding in the corner with the babe. Her eyes widened in Shock, Horror, Surprise, and Fear. The bitch was suckling him. And if that wasn't strange enough, she appeared to be protecting him as well. When she tried to get closer, the bitch gave a warning growl, and curled around him. She watched as the bitch suckled the babe, she didn't look like she had pups, yet she was trying to feed a human. She pondered this thought, and came to a conclusion. The bitch wasn't normal, the sooner she was gone, the better.

She thought about it some more, then sat down and watched. The bitch, sensing no more hostility from the female, relaxed, and licked her new pup. She didn't care that he wasn't a dog, all that mattered to her was that he was here, and that he was hungry. She settled down some more, and yawned, watching the female that wanted her new pup. She couldn't fight the feelings any more, and slowly drifted off to sleep with her new pup nuzzling against her.

Shanaar watched in silence. he was deffinately getting milk from her. How, she had no idea, but he was deffinately getting what he needed. This wouldn't do. She moved forwards after making sure that the bitch wasn't awake, and gently removed the boy from her teat. She took him back inside the orphanage, completely forgetting about the bucket of milk, the stool, and the open gate. She took him to her bedroll, and fell asleep with the abnormally quiet babe.

Shanaar was rudely awakened the next day by another of the orphanages slaves, Sceron the Mouse was looking at her with distaste. "Since when did you like Humans Shanaar? I thought you hated these things that imprisoned us, and now you're sleeping with one?"

"It's not my fault Sceron," Shanaar was quick to justify herself, less she be branded a traitor to every fur in the city. "I was ordered to take care of him by Mistress Fahl. If You had of been called awake last night, we would have found you just like this." She glanced to her sleeping charge. "I'll tell you this for free Sceron, so that you can tell the others. This human is strange. It's not like the others we have here."

"What do you mean 'It'? Doesn't he even have a name yet? Even you should know better than to leave a babe without a name. The spirits may decide that he isn't wanted, and will take him back before his time. I know he's a human and all, but do you seriously want that to happen to him?"

She looked away. "Of course not Sceron, but Mistress Fahl only got him this morning, and he Is strange." She looked up into Scerons eyes, he was a much older Mouse, twenty-three at least. "Do you remember the last few human babes that we got?" Sceron nodded, not wanting to halt her. "Well, this little guy is different from them. He hasn't cried once since i've had him. The others would be screaming their lungs out by now if they were as cold as him, but he hasn't made a single sound. When I got him, I took him into the barn to get him some milk, I placed him on the floor of the barn for ten minutes at the most, and when I had finished milking Dancer, and turned to pick him up, He had gone. He didn't make a single noise. I found him outside of Dancer's stall being suckled in the corner by a bitch." Sceron halted her there, and ducked his head out. He Gave a short whistle.

"You mean this bitch?"

In walked the same bitch who had been suckling him. She growled at finding her new pup within the arms of another female. Shanaar, sensing the outright hostility from the bitch, placed the babe upon the bedroll, and backed away. The bitch, pleased at finding her new pup again, Immediately went over to him, and licked his face clean. Both Shanaar and Sceron stared at this abnormal behaviour.

Sceron turned to Shanaar and said, "You know, I do believe that that is the strangest sight that I have ever seen." Sceron's eyes widened, and he blinked. "When did he get that?"

"What?"

Sceron pointed to the boy's left hand, at the very neat little slice of red that showed on the back of it. "Oh My, I guess it's a birth mark. I didn't notice last night because it was so dark." She watched the bitch move closer to the babe, and lie down in front of him, her face pointed towards the two furs. Shanaar blinked. "Hey Sceron, what do you think we should name him?"

"We?"

"Yes We. He's as much mine as he is yours. Besides, (She gestured to his birth mark), Don't you think that could be his name?"

Sceron blinked. "What do you mean Shanaar?"

"Well, what do you call the smile on our third moon?"

Sceron blinked again. "You want to call him Ska'hai? Are you insane?" He shook the young racoon morph. "Do you have any idea about the destruction he could cause by being named that?"

Shanaar Pouted, "Why can't we call him that? We've named other humans with the old tongue and nothing has happened to them or others. Why can't we do the same with this one?"

Sceron sighed. "I suppose you're right, after all, it's not like he could summon magicka." Sceron smiled at the thought of a human summoning the magicka of the furred races, then frowned as the thought really took form. There would be no stopping him. The human would be cruel, and heartless, with no regard for the sanctity of life.

Shanaar ignored Sceron's private reflections, and leaned down to the Babe, mindfull of the bitch. "Your name," She whispered. "Is Ska'hai."

Several years passed by, with several strange occurances happening around Ska'hai. When Ska'hai turned one year old, the night lit up with lightning. The stormclouds had been gathering all day, and the light show that happened was awe inspiring. Every single possible colour imagineable was portrayed in the massive storm, yet there was not a single sound.

The bitch that nursed Ska'hai followed him everywhere. The orphanage owner, Mistress Fahl, in a never before seen act of generosity and kindness, decided to adopt the dog into the orphanage. She was cleaned up, and became the orphanage's Official protector. This role was tested one night in Ska'hai's fourth year, when a Pyromaniac decided to set the orphanage on fire. He was hoping to send many souls to his 'God' that night, but his attempts were foiled by Nask'har, the literal translation means, The Bitch. Nask'har woke up beside her growing pup, and smelled fire and pitch. She went to investigate, and found fire, and a filthy human watching the flames. She raced inside, and woke everyone up silently, her pup was first, then his watcher, then the mistress and the others. After they were all awake, she went back outside, and took down the human that wanted to destroy her home. She recieved lots of attention all week for what she did. The fact that the human was completely ripped apart was overlooked by some Very important people.

When Ska'hai turned nine he was sent out with a slave to gather some food from the market for the day. This day was to be a test of Ska'hai's character. On their way to the market place, Mirran, the vixen girl that was sent with him, was attacked by a bunch of boys that had been waiting for her to leave the protection of the orphanage for the last year or so. The seven of them were all older, and stronger than Ska'hai. They went from seventeen at the youngest, to just a month before twenty at the oldest. When they jumped them, the youngest decided that he didn't like Ska'hai hanging around with a fur, and decided to beat a lesson into him while the others had fun with Mirran. Ska'hai had never been in a fight before, but before he left, Shanaar stopped him, and passed to him a very expensive dagger and sheath. She told him not to ask where it came from, and that this would cost him his birthday presents for the next four years. Ska'hai readily agreed, but Shanaar made a stipulation that it was never to be seen unless he or others were in danger.

Mirran screamed as her clothes were torn from her, and she saw the boys starting to undress. Her heart rate sped up, adrenaline went pumping through her. The knowledge of what was about to happen to her went crashing into her mind. She looked to Ska'hai. She knew she shouldn't, he was four years younger than her, but she still hoped that he might be able to protect her. A few moments later her sight was filled by the first male sexual organ she had ever seen. And It Was Huge! She cried out in the old tongue, not even aware of what she was doing, and called Ska'hai by name. Mirran requested his aid, and asked that he slay these devils for her. She watched him fall from the next blow. She closed her eyes and cried, not wanting to see anything else as she felt them move closer to her.

Ska'hai had recieved quite a beating from the youngest in the group, and was almost unconcious, having never recieved any training, he was quite disadvantaged. The next blow finally sent him under, but, it was not a complete unconsciousness. Just before he completely slipped under he could have sworn that somebody asked for his help. He wanted to, he really did, but he knew that in his current state that he could do absolutely nothing. A presence within Ska'hai slowly shook itself awake. it knew that it had been summoned, but it did not know who or how. It Hissed inwardly at the damage that it felt around it's home, and decided that if it didn't have a purpose, then this would make do. It filled its home with its dark energy. It completely flooded Ska'hai with raw power. Ska'hai's many wounds healed up, and he woke to a foot slowly descending towards his head. From that point onwards, every one of his actions were instinctual, with minor guidance from the dark presence within him.

When Skahai's eyes opened he watched the foot fall slowly towards his head, a voice within him said for him to stop it. He raised his left hand, and caught the foot stopping it's downward motion instantly. 'Now,' the voice within his mind said, 'Crush it.' 'Why?' Ska'hai asked. 'He has harmed us, and deserves whatever we feel is a necessary punishment.' said the voice. 'But I don't want to hurt him, it was probably something I did anyway.' said Ska'hai. 'Look to your right Ska'hai' said the voice 'Look at what is happening because of you.' the voice faded away, relinquishing it's minor controll upon him as Ska'hai turned to face Mirran.

What Ska'hai saw in those fleeting moments of full awareness would haunt his dreams for the next two years of his life. He saw Mirran, one of his very few friends being abused by boys he didn't know. They were shoving their things into her, and she was crying. He didn't want to see her cry. He looked up into the eyes of the person that was trying to hurt him, and saw only hatred and rage. He wept for what he was about to do. Ska'hai stood up, releasing every single chain he had ever lashed around his rage, and it Exploded Forth. It Consumed him. The only thing he could clearly remember was that they were all bad, and they were hurting Mirran. He released the foot that he was holding, and grabbed his birthday present with his right hand, and Drew it forth, its edge facing his tormentor. The youth stood stock still, having seen the kid he was beating upon just stand up and draw a blade on him. Ska'hai took his momentary hesitation, and turned it into a years worth of pain in a few seconds. Ska'hai drew the blade in an upward sweeping movement, slicing him open from wrist to shoulder on his left arm. He then sliced him open from shoulder to wrist upon his right arm. Ska'hai backed off a step, raised the blade above his head, and stabbed him through the heart. He delivered a spinning kick to hi side, booting the body to the right before he had a chance to fall. He then turned to the remaining six. Ska'hai ran forwards, and kicked the two boys holding down Mirrans left fore paw and leg in their groins. He heard two very nice wet popping sounds. They fell to the ground, cupping themselves and screaming in agony. He turned to the Male human that was mounting her from behind, and in very quick succession, sliced off both of the hands he was holding Mirran with, Slit his throat, and Castrated him. He jumped over Mirran, and landed upon the backs of the two holding her right side in place. He stabbed each of them just below the napes of their necks, and twisting the blade after each strike. Making sure of a swift kill. He then turned to his left to face the leader, The one that had started all of this. The one that was still shoving his thing into her mouth. Ska'hai Roared with the Fierce need to see this being's blood paint the walls. He took out every single frustration he had ever experienced within his short time here, upon this creature. The first thing he did was Castrate him, he then sliced both his hands off him, though they still clung to Mirrans hair and fur. He then proceeded to chop him up into very tiny pieces, cutting off a large portion of his body sporadically. When Ska'hai had finally finished butchering the human, what was left of him coated the walls of the darkened alley. There was a small pile of Things on the floor of the alley. He turned to his left again, and stared at the two humans that were left. He stepped over one, and stood between them, Wiped off his blade, and sheathed it. He then took both their heads, and Crushed them against the others'. He left an imprint of his hand within each of their heads. Ska'hai then walked infront of Mirran, and kneeled with his head bowed. The entire thing, from the death of the first human, to the death of the last two, took all of fifteen seconds.

Mirran slowly realised that they had stopped using her awhile ago. She coughed, and slowly opened her eyes, to a shocking sight. Kneeling directly before her was Ska'hai, and he was completely soaked in blood. She looked alittle closer, and wished she hadn't. He was also covered in things that were thicker than blood. Her body shook with the realisation of what just happened. Ska'hai had responded to the old tongue She had summoned him forth to slay these demons, and in doing so, she had condemned him. She cried and kissed the only part of Ska'hai that wasn't coated in blood, the top of his head, which even at nine years was covered in long black hair. "Ska'hai, please look at me." Ska'hai looked up into Mirrans eyes. Mirran shivered, there was nobody there. It was like he didn't exist, and the only thing keeping him here, was what she said. Mirran took what had happened upon her account, deep within herslf. This was now her burden. "Ska'hai," She said again, "Ska'hai, we need to get back to the orphanage." He nodded once. "I want you to take me back to the orphanage, and I want you to protect me all of the way. Can you do that Ska'hai?" Ska'hai nodded once more, and stood up. Mirran stood up, and followed Ska'hai when he started moving. Both Furs and Humans stared at them when they went past, though that wasn't really a surprise. One, she was naked, and had just suffered a brutal rape, and Two, Ska'hai was completely soaked in their blood.

The next trial came when some stupid human ran off to get the guards, and spouted to them about some kid that had just slaughtered his way through a crowd. Naturally they got up off their asses immediately. One of the guards, when they got to them, had the brilliant idea to shoot the fur that was walking behind Ska'hai. Inches from reaching Mirran's right eyebrow it was stopped by Ska'hai when he grabbed it. He looked at the guard that fired it, and disappeared from sight. The crowd gasped, at this act of, what was to them, outright magic. All that Ska'hai did was move faster than they could see, and all he did as return the arrow to the guard that had fired it. Ska'hai placed it right where it would have landed had it touched Mirran. He then reappeared infront of Mirran, and continued the walk to the Orphanage. The guards very wisely decided not to try and stop them.

They finally made it back to the orphanage, and both were greeted in silence. Nask'har did not come out to greet her pup, she did not feel him within the being that was now in the orphanage. After Sceron came out to comfort Mirran, and Mirran stopped Ska'hai from trying to kill him, she went with him to the next room. She wanted the comfort that he and the other furrs would be able to provide.

No one came for Ska'hai, and he felt nothing. An hour passed, and Mirran had finally finished telling her part of the story. Shanaar walked out to her boy, with wide eyes. She knelt before Ska'hai, and peered into his eyes. After searching for a minute, she cried at finding nothing there. His soul had fled his body, and all that was left was his shell. She cried, and kissed his forehead tenderly, and whispered into his ear, "Please return to me Ska'hai. Your mother misses you."

Ska'hai blinked after the words had filtered down and into him. His eyes spilled over with tears, "Mother?" He whispered in a heart choked voice.

Shanaar blinked, then leaned back to look him over again, and what she saw upon his tear streaked face gladdened her heart instantly. His soul had returned. Nask'har came racing into the front room, and jumped upon her pup, eagerly cleaning him of the filth that coated his form. Both Shanaar, and Nask'har watched as Ska'hai cried his heart and soul out. He told them how he had been beaten, and that he woke up again, turned his head, and saw Mirran being hurt by those boys. He cried when he told them about what he had done, he whispered over and over again the fact that he had never wanted to hurt anyone, but they were hurting Mirran, and making her cry. Shanaar nodded, and held her charge. Shanaar cried when he repeated what he had done, only a couple of hours ago. Her little human was gifted, she knew that now. If nothing else, the bare fact that he responded to the old tongue proved it. Shanaar took hold of both of his little hands, and frowned as she felt his left hand burn within her right paw. She brought it up for a closer inspection, and gasped at what she saw. The little sickle shape upon his left hand now glowed a very ugly black, and her heart stilled in fear, for only now did she remember the prophecy. Both light and dark shall come to his aid, she glanced to Nask'har, the beasts shall claim him, and neither human nor fur shall know him. Shanaar cried with the thoughts of her little human. Their lives were going to be so different from now on. He even had the name of the moon's shadow. She smiled through her tears, and hugged Ska'hai even tighter. Shanaar freaked for a moment when she felt Ska'hai fall into her embrace, completely unconscious. She smiled sadly, her little human was completely exhausted from the trial he had just endured, let alone his first use of magicka. She took him to their bedroll, and laid him down, quickly falling asleep beside him, Nask'har lying at their feet.

Within the mind of Ska'hai, two forces quarraled upon the disturbing actions Ska'hai had taken. Light fought Dark, and Dark fought Light. Apart from one thing, neither could agree with the other. The one thing that both agreed upon was one small fact. It was not yet time for him to emerge, and what was meant to be a test, quickly turned into a massacre. The one shrouded in light, gestured to the other, which was shrouded in shadows, "And how would you suggest that we fix this mistake, Shade?"

The shadowed one smiled, "It's actually rather simple, Prism, all we need do is persuade Ska'hai to rewind time one day."

Prism stood before Shade, completely shocked. "You do realise that he doesn't yet have the power to raise the dead?"

"Yes Prism, but all he needs to do, is rewind time, and make everyone forget what has happened." The room that they were standing in shook strongly.

"He has a point." Prism stated. "There must be at least one who will remember everything, but we must choose someone who will not blab it all out the very next day." The idea struck both forces at the same time. They would give full recollection to his protector, Nask'har. By the time he figured out how to speak to the beasts, he would be well on his way. The deal was struck, and they entered his dream. Both gently persuaded him to do as they asked. and the next day, dawned anew. Ska'hai awoke as he normally did, and all thoughts of what he did was gone from his memmory. Both he and Mirran went through the day without a single mishap, though the next morn, the town crier stated that eight young men had disappeared, and that one was a guard, while the others came from the highclass. This was strangely ignored.

After the minor mishap that happened on Ska'hai's ninth birthday, it was agreed that no more tests would be conducted unless it was completely necessary. The next test was pushed back to the latest that it would go, and to their disappointment, it wasn't far.

On Ska'hai's sixteenth birthday, he would finally recieve his gift, and, his curse.

Ska'hai woke up to a wonderful morning going afternoon at the orphanage, he had steadily been growing stronger over the years, and had made friends among the human highclass. Today his friends had told him that he was going to get a great present, all he needed to do was meet them at a vaguely familiar alley way. He never realised, but that was the same alley that Mirran and He had been dragged into those many years ago.

Ska'hai stepped into the alley, and noticed his friends standing infront of something. He moved closer, and became aware of a vague scent filling the alley. He couldn't quite describe it, but the more he sampled the scent, the more he wanted its source. His five friends smiled, seeing his obvious reaction. They moved away from what they were hiding behind their backs. Ska'hai froze at what he saw.

"Don't Worry Sky, she's brand new and only came into heat a few days ago, so you will have her all to your self." Torrence grinned, as he patted the large female wolf, and slowly rubbed lower. He placed a finger just under her tail, and the Wolf obediently raised her tail, Flashing the humans, and giving Ska'hai what appeared to him as a Very lusty look. He groaned, and turned around, much to the bemusement of his friends, and the curiosity of the wolf.

"Ahh c'mon Sky, she ain't gonna bite ya." To prove his point Nerran placed his wrist infront of her, yet all she did was sniff him, then go back to watching Ska'hai. "Ya see? She's harmless."

"Nerran, She is a full grown wolf, where in the hells did you even get her? Wolves aren't allowed, and as a rule they are shot on sight." The Wolf perked her ears at this little bit of information that they had forgotten to mention.

"All the more reason you should take your present now Sky, you never know when someone might decide to take her off your hands. Like me for instance." The wolf growled. She didn't want any male, she wanted That male. The one that smelled like a Good male in rut. She shivered in pleasure at the thought of him mounting her. If he was good enough she might even teach him a few tricks. She growled lustfully as she thought about him mounting her, and taking her enough times to get her with pups. The many times he'd have to take her to ensure the pups. She panted heavily, and started to pace.

"Uhh, Sky. Not meanin' ta sound like a worry wart, but I think she Really wants ya." Gorrin stared at the pacing wolf that never took her eyes from Ska'hai.

Ska'hai blinked. "Since when do wolves stare?" The female immediately averted her eyes, trying not to draw that type of attention to her. If they knew, she really would be killed.

"Aww C'mon Sky, at least do 'er once so's we can have a go if ya doan like 'er." She growled again. Apart from the male at the entrance to this alley, she wasn't going to let any other male mount her, even if she had to die to prevent it. She whimpered at the feelings coursing through her body, then, her coat stood on end, and her tail went straight. There was someone else here. She looked around as she felt those eyes upon her again. Damn it. That was the third time this month, How did he keep finding her? She scampered over to Ska'hai, and sat at his feet, silently begging him to take her, before it was too late.

Ska'hai watched the female approach apprehensively, but when she only sat at his feet, he seriously considered taking her back to the orphanage. he reached down, and patted her head, in return, she nuzzled his crotch, wanting only to know if he was ready to take her yet.

His so called friends laughed at his apparent unease, Yet the wolf seemed content to wait at the moment. "Well, if you're all done laughing at me, I'm going to take my present home with me." The guys Whinged in disappointment, and Ska'hai laughed. He walked back to the orphanage with his new pet.

However, when he got back to the orphanage, it appeared that someone had gotten there before him, and had told Mistress Fahl that he was bringing a dangerous wolf with him. Unsurprisingly, he was not allowed within the orphanage walls with that wolf.

"Well Miss Wolf, it appears that we'll be staying in the forests tonight." He leaned down, and whispered into her perked ear, "You wouldn't happen to know of a place that we could be, away from prying eyes?" She nodded, then froze her head in the middle of the second nod, and she looked up at her potential mate, with fear flashing through her eyes. That fear was quickly replaced by devotion when he smiled at her, he was happy that she was different. She felt like barking and running in circles, she was that happy.

"Well Miss Wolf, lead the way." No sooner were the words out of his mouth, than she took off, and lead the way out of the city, with Ska'hai jogging after her.

Quite some time later, and several branches in the face, She stopped outside of a stone door, melded within a cliff face. She pointed to the topmost brick of the door frame with her muzzle, and Mimicked knocking. Deciding to give it a shot, he knocked three times, and she barked after his third knock. The door vanished, and she raced inside. Ska'hai, however trusting he was becoming of this female, took his advancement a little more cautiously.

Ska'hai followed the chiseled stone passage for a long time before finally being let out into marvelous field. He paused for a moment, and looked out among the creatures that were here. He caught vague hints of speech patterns, but couldn't readily discern them. He searched for his new friend, and found her a short walk away, being held dow by two wolf morphs, as another positioned himself behind her, His member erect and already starting to thrust at her. He could see that this wasn't something she wanted, cause she was snarling and snapping at the two she could get to.

"Oi! Can't you see that she doesn't want you? Get the Fuck away from her!" All activity within the field stopped. Though he had noticed before that he was the only human here, it didn't really sink in till he had announced himself.

The big wolf morph that was about to mount her stopped, and backed off alittle, but not before he cuffed her with a strong blow. "So you weren't lying, you really did have someone else in mind. However, I did tell you that if you ever came back here, I would make you mine." He glared at Ska'hai. "And as leader of this pack, my word is Law." All of the furs in the field immediately abased themselves before the king wolf. Rabbit, Fox, Wolf, Serpent, Dragon, Cat, and many others. Feral and Morph, not a single eye could be seen.

Ska'hai, however, was not impressed. "I Don't care if you're the king of the dog pen. What you want to do to that female is wrong, and will not happen." He walked forwards into the clearing, and was suddenly swamped in females. "The Hells?" He backed up, trying to get away, but found his escape back into the corridor blocked. He was completely caged in by females. He started to really get nervous when the all started sniffing him. Especially when they got a little too close to that area. "Hey aren't you supposed to be listening to the Big Wolf?" He dodged a female that clawed at his pants. "Hey! That was too close." She growled, and Slashed again, and again he dodged, but this time, he jumped over the ring of females, putting himself directly infront of the king wolf. "Ahh shiit." The Wolf King responded to his leap of faith, with a punch of fury.

"I will not have anyone trying to usurp my rule as King. Especially not some Filth ridden Human!" He turned to the wolf who had brought Ska'hai, and gave her a swift kick to the ribs, from which she yelped. "You'll be getting alot more where that came from my little Bitch, and when you finally have my pups you're going straight into the used and abused pile." He grinned, then turned back to Ska'hai. "Just so we all know each other human, I'm De'Nek'Sree. Who are you?"

Ska'hai coughed. That damned wolf sure packed one Hell of a punch. He coughed again, and answered. "My name is Ska'hai." With his name given, half the furrs in the clearing stopped moving, and most of the females surrounding him moved away. Well away. De'Nek'Sree, however, laughed aloud.

"And Who in their right mind decided to name you in the Old Tongue human? Do you even know what your name means?" Ska'hai shook his head in the negative, carefull not to cause any more damage to himself. "Well, since you're being a nice little bitch for me, I'll tell you what it means." De'Nek'Sree leaned down to Ska'hai, Placing his large paws on either side of his shoulders. "Your name means, very simply, Shadowed Light." De'Nek'Sree smiled, "Now isn't that a stupid name to be calling a human?" He then lunged forwards, and Closed his gigantic maw around Ska'hai's throat, and Threw him straight across the field, and into a large Oak tree. He turned back to the wolf, Muzzle dripping Ska'hai's blood, pleased that he had dealt with another rival in his own way. "It's now time to take from you what I eventually took from your Mother." He growled in appreciation as he closed the distance between them once more.

Ska'hai's world exploded into white pain. First from De'Nek'Sree's jaws crushing his throat, and secondly from smashing into the tree, and getting his skull cracked in the process. His vision blurred, but the one thing he struggled to do was get up. He only knew that if he didn't get up, then that would be it, and he would die this day. His left hand burned, then the sensation spread from his hand up his arm, and into his bruised and damaged chest. He felt it spread from there, to the rest of his body, until it completely encased him. All of his pain had gone, and he came back into the world fully healed once more, but this time, he came alone. He also had a brand new surprise with him. He stood straight upon legs that were built for speed and strength.
