Considering the amount I had to work with, I say it came out pretty well.

This is a pretty long story, there is a scene between the Twins about mid way down, and a long scene at the bottom of the story... It's worth reading the whole thing though.

Shaun and Connie used to do everything together, being identical twins they shared everything and their room was a mixture of both personalities, neither one was complete without the other. Connie and Shaun's parents however were not as cooperative, the father, a gruff strong independent wolf, never much for coddling and nurturing the twins, finding fault in most everything Shaun did. Their mother was the complete opposite, a gentle, loving feline always praising and rewarding her children for any accomplishments.

By the time the twins were teens, their parents marriage dissolved to nothing, and Connie and their mother moved away, leaving Shaun alone without his sister. The following months were hard on both twins, more so on Shaun, he was always gentle and caring, not much for violent games and yard work; this didn't sit too well with his father, who constantly scolded and tried to toughen him up. Connie on the other hand was thriving in her new school, making a lot of new friends, but still, it wasn't the same without her brother.

After a while both parents agreed that the twins should remain together, and Shaun moved back in with his mother and sister again; spring break was almost over, the twins about to celebrate their 14th birthday and all seemed to be well again.

"Welcome home!" Connie and their mother said greeting Shaun as he walked through the door, each giving him a hug before his sister helped him drag his suitcase into their room. "You will have to share a bed with your sister, but it's a big one." Their mother said, as they disappeared into the room. "It will be just like before, when we were kids" Connie said, smiling warmly at her brother, who in turn cracked a smile as well "Sounds good, it was too lonely without you." Shaun replied, moving back into the living room, their mother already placing a tuna salad sandwich, with extra pickles, sliced on an angle and two glasses of milk for them, their favorite snack growing up. "Now you two kids catch up, I have to go do some work on the computer." She said, before leaving the room.

"So what have you been up to Connie?" Shaun asked quietly, his voice still soft and gentle, reaching for one of the sandwich halves their mother prepared, giving it a bite, his face lighting up, not having had Mom's cooking in so long. "Well... I made 2 new best friends, and I got an A in English last term... and mom's been teaching me how to cook, but it's still lonely when she goes to work and I'm home alone. What about you?" Connie asked, taking the other half of the sandwich and nibbling it gently. Shaun's ears drooped a bit, he did not adapt as well as his sister, she was always the strong one. "Well... Sally doesn't talk to me anymore since you left... and her older brother john stopped hanging out too... Said I was too quiet and boring lately." His voice was low, he always had a crush on Sally, and considered John to be his best friend.

"I'm sorry... I didn't know you were having so much trouble." She replied, finishing her half of the sandwich before running back into their room "Come on! I bet I can still beat you in Mario Party!" Shaun quickly followed, Connie always knew how to cheer him up.

The next few days were full of games, and talking amongst the siblings, Shaun learned about their mom's new job selling real estate, she had to leave early in the mornings, but she would be home shortly after school ended, that's when she'd start dinner.

Connie showed her brother around their new home, it wasn't much, but more than welcoming to him; There was the "master bedroom", which Connie and Shaun now shared, not much larger than their mother's room, but it had its own bathroom, a small TV for their games, and plenty of room for toys. The bathroom they shared was bright and clean, the tiles nearly blinding Shaun the first time he turned on the light, a full sized bathtub/shower as well as the usual bathroom essentials. Their living room was pretty small, just a couch and coffee table, facing a big screen TV and stereo system. The living room connected all the other rooms of the house; the second bathroom, with laundry machines, and a small shower, their mother's room, which had the family computer, Connie and Shaun were allowed to play games as long as their mother wasn't working at the time.

The Dining room and kitchen were connected, four chaired dining table and fish tank made up their dining room, and the kitchen was fairly ordinary, fully equipped and brightly lit. The back door of the house lead to a small enclosure with a picnic table and a grill, surrounded by a few trees and some flowers their mother planted. Shaun was overjoyed with his new home, the past four months he was stuck in a small apartment with his dad, no real space for himself, and a less than homely decor.

Before they knew it, spring break was over and it was time to return to school, their mother left them some money for lunch before waking the twins up for school and heading off to work.

"You help your brother get to school on time, he's joining in near the end of the year he needs to make a good impression." She said before Connie groaned and stretched, replying with a yawn "Alright... Shaun get up" Connie poked her brother a few times, still curled up beside her. Shaun flicked his ears and hugged a pillow, grumbling a little "But I wanna stay here... I don't know anyone at school" he said, looking at his sister.

"It's alright, I have a plan... but you have to trust me." She said, not making Shaun feel much better, her plans never panned out as his sister promised they would. "What is the plan?" He grumbled, dragging himself out of bed and stretching some. Connie grinned a little before she replied "Well... I forgot to mention the kids at our new school are a little different... boys and girls don't like to hang out with each other... so if we want to stick together, you will have to play along" She said as she dug two sets of her clothes out of their dresser.

"Put these on" She said, tossing a pair of her pink undies, socks, a bright purple set of baggy pajama bottoms and a matching tight shirt in his direction. "Wait... you want me to dress like a girl?" He said with a soft whine, taking the clothes into the bathroom to get ready. "Well we can always just stick you alone with the boys... but they would tease you constantly, you already look like a girl" She giggled, getting dressed herself, wearing clothes almost exactly the same as her brother, her ears perking up as the bathroom door opened, Shaun staring back at her with his ears back. "I look silly..." He whines more, the twins were already identical, the matching clothes almost made them indistinguishable from one another.

They both had their father's dark black colorings but their mother's appearance, short soft fur and a feline physique, right down to the bushy fluffy tails and slit light blue eyes. The only thing that really could tell them apart was that Connie's breasts were developing, and Shaun, obviously, had a flat chest. "Hmmm that's pretty close, but the girls might tease you for being flat!" Connie giggled, starting to riffle through her backpack "How am I supposed to help that! I'm a boy!" He whined, Connie pulling out her lucky sweatshirt and handing it to her brother."Here... this will cover up that boy scent too!"

Shaun grumbled a bit before he responded "But what if they don't fall for it" pulling on the sweatshirt, his soft gentle voice only furthered the illusion. "Don't worry... a few boys dress and sound like this already, so the teacher's won't mind... just tell the girls Shaun... is short for Shauna" She giggled, giving her brother a hug. "But if they do find out your a boy... I'm sure the other girly boys will find you cute. So it's a Win-Win for you, easy friends." Connie held her brother's hand and they both took their bags, heading off to school.

Shaun was more than nervous, clinging to his sister the entire bus ride catching a glance from every student, he was strange to them, not only because of how similar he was to Connie, but because he was new, and arriving three quarters through the school year.

Shaun and Connie were the first to get into the classroom, their teacher didn't look twice at Shaun, she only helped him get his books and a seat next to his sister, and asked a few questions about what he learned. This relieved him, worst fear up to this point was him being exposed to the whole class during attendance, but their teacher was more than understanding, only making a comment of how cute they looked together. Shortly after, the bell rang and students started pouring into the room, glancing over at Shaun a little confused, most not knowing she had a twin.

After a few minutes an uninvited visitor tore open the door "I got popcorn! and Iced tea!" A cheery voice said, poking her head through the door. "I'm Sophie, Jessica's mom, and if you need anything all night you just come on up to the house and ask me. It's so nice seeing Jessica make new friends, you know you and your sister came along it was just these two all the time." "MOM!" Jessica interrupted "You're going to scare them away if you keep doing that!"

"I was just saying hello to your new little friend, you know if she keeps it up we could have our own slumber party in the living room, she's always had a mouth on her" She said placing the bowl of popcorn in the center of the teens. "Now I'll leave you alone for the rest of the night, but the back door will be unlocked in case you need anything or get scared." Her mother trailed off, continuing to talk as she walked into the house, leaving Jessica looking relieved. "Thank GOD" she said, curling back to watch the movie "the only thing scary that could happen is if she popped back into our party." Jessica added, all going quiet as they started watching the movie.

And so the teens continued their slumber party, Shaun couldn't exactly see what the big fuss was over these movies, but he did enjoy some portions, and faked interest in the others, luckily there was only one movie and then it was onto the games. The twins crushed Jess and Kate in Super Smash brothers, and Connie won at Mario party, as usual, and it didn't seem before it was midnight, Jess' parents long past sleeping, Kate put another DVD on the player, a Family Guy tape she borrowed from her brother, although it was mostly just to keep the tent lit, they were more interested in the next game.

"Ok girls, it's time for the last game of the night... Truth, or Dare" Jessica stated, grabbing the now empty popcorn bowl, writing on a few pieces of paper and dropping them inside. "The rules are simple, we each choose one of these four pieces, then we go around and each get a turn asking a question or daring the person who's turn it is. I'll go first, then Kate, then Connie and then Shaun" She said, taking a piece of paper, then handing it around till all four pieces were chosen.

"Looks like I got dare... so Kate gets to dare me first, then Connie, then Shaun, and then the next person goes, so we all get our chance." Jessica stated, looking over at Katelyn, who was peeking at what paper she picked. "Hmmm Dare huh?" Kate replies, reaching for the bucket of Ice that kept their drinks cool, taking out a large chunk. "I dare you to put this down your shirt" the bunny giggles, dropping the ice in Jessica's lap. With a shudder Jess lifted the ice, pulling back the neck of her shirt and dropping it inside. "Oh my god it's so cold" Jess whined, the ice starting to melt, leaving a growing wet spot on her chest, Kate giggling as she watched her friend squirm, the ice melting.

"Traitor!" Connie shouted, giving her brother a swat. "Alright it's my turn!" Kate said, giving her fur a few swipes with a paw, straightening it back out.

"I have truth, Connie, you're up." She said, Connie quickly responding "I got one, Truth... How far have you gone with a boy?" She asked, her tail flicking around mischievously, Kate's pure white fur showing an immediate blush before her response. "Well... Last summer I was making out with a boy, he was getting a little grabby, so I grabbed back, and I got a feel of his... stuff." She sighed "But someone interrupted us before I got to see it."

Kate put her hands in her lap, looking over at Shaun "Hmmm Do you have a crush on anyone now?" Shaun replied, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the current topics, still trying to play along. Kate Sighed "No, all the cute boys turned into pervs or they're looking for their own cute boys..." Jess giggled a little, already having a juicy question for her friend.
