The husky tapped his paw against the steering wheel of his van to the beat of the depressing techno music that vibrated in his ears. He thought about how he was going to tell his best friend about the love that he and Ky shared. Tobias started going through every possible reaction that his friend could have. Would he react badly and cut off their friendship? Would he accept him for who he is? Would he be happy for him, or would he hate him? These thoughts raced through his mind as he started to get sick from worry. His thoughts were then diverted to Ky. He felt so bad about leaving him when he was having so much trouble, but he needed talk to Josh. And anyways, Ky was doing better when he left.

Tobias thoughts then went back to what he was going to tell Josh as he pulled into his school's parking lot. Tobias was going to pick up his feline friend, since school recently got out, then talk to him. The husky started feeling sick when he saw his best friend walking towards him. What was he going to say? What if he hates me? Tobias felt a lump grow in his throat as he thought about losing his best friend.

Josh opened the passenger door of the van and jumped into the seat before saying, "Hey buddy."

"Hey." Responded Tobias after swallowing, trying to get rid of the lump in his throat.

"What's wrong?" asked the good friend, being able tell that his friend wasn't his normal self.

"I need to talk to you about something," said the husky as he looked down at the steering wheel, "but I am scared to tell you."

"Aww... Well you can tell me anything." responded the tiger as a concerned look formed on his face. "Just tell me."

"Well, first of all," Tobias said as he looked up at his friend, "you can't tell anyone. It would screw up my life if anybody knew."

"Well that wouldn't be good." Josh said, "I won't tell anyone, you should know that you don't need to tell me that."

"Yeah." said the worried husky.

"So what is it?" asked the feline.

"Well, I... I ummm..." Tobias stuttered trying to get the words out.

"You what?" questioned Josh.

"Ok. Here it goes, I am... uh... I am dating Ky. He is my boyfriend." the canine managed to get out as tears started forming in his eyes, which were focused on the steering wheel.

"Uhhh... What?" asked the white tiger, trying to figure out what his friend said. "You are... ummm... gay?"

"I guess." Tobias responded as he looked up at his friend, looking for support.

"Uh, what do you want me to say to that?" Josh asked with a shocked look on his face. "How am I supposed to react to this?"

"I don't know." the husky said as a tear left his eye and as he felt extremely sick to his stomach, for his friend was not reacting how he hoped he would. "I was kinda hoping for... um... support."

"How am I supposed to give you support?" asked Tobias's friend, "You just told me that you were gay. I don't know. I need to go."

Josh got out of the van and with the sound of the closing door; Tobias dropped his head against the steering wheel and started crying. He had just lost his friend. He had lost his best friend.

Depressing minor chords played through the van's speakers, which could only be heard when the sobbing husky took a breath. Tears dripped down the grip of the steering wheel and fell onto the Tobias's knees. The husky thought about his wolf. He needed to go see him.

After several minutes in the school parking lot, Tobias had left and headed back to Ky's house. He stood on the doorstep as he knocked on the piece of wood the divided the inside of the house from the outside as he wiped any excess tears that remained in his eyes. The husky looked down at the doorknob when he heard it turning. The door swung open and Tobias suddenly felt that familiar falling feeling before he found himself on the ground. He looked at the figure that pushed him and he recognized it as Ky's mom as she headed towards her car. She had pushed pass him like he wasn't even there. Tobias suddenly thought about Ky. Was he ok? The canine ran into the house and ran down the hall to Ky's room.

The husky swung his lover's door open to see Ky sitting on the edge of his bed, his head buried in his paws. He didn't seem to be crying but he was sniffling a bit. Tobias walked over and sat down next to him before putting his paw around the wolf's waist.

"What happened?" Tobias asked in a caring tone.

"I don't really know. There was a lot of yelling, but I think she said she is leaving for a long time." Ky said through his paws.

"I am really sorry Ky. Leaving where?" asked the concerned husky.

"I don't know... To be with some guy I think." Answered the lupine before looking up, "Wait, enough about me, what happened with Josh?"

"I don't really know," Tobias said as he got that lump in his throat and took his lover's original position with his face in his paws, "He just left. We didn't talk. I asked for support and he just said, "How am I supposed to give you support?" then he left."

"I am so sorry Tobias," Ky said as he leaned over and hugged his love.

"I just lost my best friend," said the canine as the usual happiness shown in his eyes was overwhelmed with tears of hurt. "I just lost my best friend."

Ky squeezed the husky as close to him as he could and started saying comforting words in his ear. After several minutes Tobias's tears started to subside as Ky's grip loosened. After the canines tears stopped flowing Ky leaned back and looked at his mate.

"I love you so much Tobias, and it hurts me so much to see you in pain." Ky said as he wiped a tear from Tobias's chin, "I am so sorry."

"Thanks for being here for me." Said the husky before he licked the tear off of Ky's paw. "I love you Ky."

"I love you more." Ky said before kissing his lover.

They kissed several times before locking lips and slipping their tongues into each other's mouths. Ky moved so that he was sitting on his mates lap, leaning down to keep the kiss.

"I really do love you," Ky said, breaking the kiss, "You know that right?"

"Yes I do." Tobias answered, "I really love you to. Despite all of our troubles, it is hard not to feel good when I am with you."

"Yeah, I feel the same way." responded the wolf.

Tobias fell back onto the bed, bringing Ky on top of him before saying, "So when do I get to be with you at school."

"Actually, I am starting Wednesday." answered the lupine.

"Really?!" asked the canine.

"Yeah, I am pretty excited." Ky said before licking his love's face.

"That's so awesome!! It will be so cool to be able to see you every day!" said the husky as he hugged squeezed his lover in his arms.

"I know!" replied the lupine, "hopefully we will have some of the same classes."

"Yeah, hopefully." Tobias said.

"I think we need to take our minds off things. Do you want to go do something?" asked Ky?

"Like what?" asked the canine

"Ummm... I don't know?" answered gray wolf, "Let's just go driving."

"Hmmm... Ok. Let's go" Tobias said as his lover got off his lap and helped his him up.

The wolf led his husky by the hand out of the room as Tobias took his keys out of his pocket. The left the house and the canine got in the driver seat and Ky got into the passenger seat. The husky started the van and put it into drive. He pulled out Ky's driveway and started driving.

"So, where do you want to go?" asked the canine in an inquisitive tone.

"I don't know, how about a beach?" asked he wolf.

"Ummm... the nearest beach is ninety miles away." Tobias explained.

"So?" Ky said before giggling.

"Good point." Tobias said as he chuckled. "I guess it will be fun. I have to call my dad first."

Tobias called his father and, after a few minutes, convinced him to let him go. After saying goodbye, the husky slid his phone shut and turned on the stereo. He put it on one of his favorite bands. He turned up the volume and looked over at his boyfriend. The canine smiled, moved his paw to the inside of Ky's thigh, then looked back at the road. Ky smiled as put his paw on top of his lovers and looked ahead. The couple sang along to the songs as they drove down the secluded highway.

After a couple of hours of driving and a quick stop to eat, the couple finally arrived at their destination. They drove down the road that ran along the edge of the beach. Ky looked out his window at the ocean as a smile grew on his face. He was glad that they had gone to this beautiful beach. And it wasn't crowded because it was a school night.

"I am really glad we came." The wolf stated, "I am sure that this will take our minds off things."

"Yeah, I am glad too." Tobias responded, "Thanks for the idea."

"Anytime." Ky answered, "Ooh, lets park there."

The husky pulled off the road and backed down the secluded beach, stopping within fifty feet of the water. He turned off the engine, but left the stereo going as he changed the heavier music to a melodic type of trance. He popped the trunk and got out of the car. The canine went around to the back of the van and opened the trunk, releasing the music to the outside. Ky met his boyfriend at the back of the van, walked up to him, and hugged him. Tobias grabbed one of his lover's paws and started running toward the water, pulling Ky along with him. They ran down the hot sand and stopped just before they came in contact with the water.

"We better keep out clothes dry." sxplain the wolf.

"Yeah," agreed the wolf's mate, "so, let's get you out of them."

Tobias stepped closer to his lover and kissed him after slightly tilting his head. Their muzzles locked as the husky's paws trailed down to Ky's pants. He undid the button that kept the waist of the pants together. Tobias slipped his tongue into the wolf's mouth as he undid the fly on Ky's pants, causing them to slide down his hips and fall to his ankles. Ky did the same with the canine's pants and started pulling Tobias's shirt off. The kiss was briefly broken as they took off each other's shirts.

The lupine then removed his boxers before kneeling and pulling his mate's down, revealing Tobias's sheathe. He looked at it a moment before kissing the tip of Tobias's sheathe, making him moan. Ky teased his lover's emerging dick a moment before standing back up and giving the husky a short kiss.

After the kiss ended the wolf grabbed the husky's paw and pulled him into the water. They waded deeper into the water until they got into neck-deep water. They started swimming around and splashing each other as the sun started falling in the sky. They wrestled and tried to dunk each other, laughing and giggling the whole time. Their wrestling started to become less forceful and before long, they found themselves kissing and cuddling.

"Thanks for being there for me." Ky said as he looked into his mate's eyes, "I am so glad I have you."

"I am so glad I have you." Tobias said as hugged his boyfriend close, "I love you Akkia."

"I love you Tobias." Ky said before he broke their gaze and kissed his love.

The two muzzles locked as they thought about how much they really did care about each other. They thought about how much they knew their lover loved them. The husky moved his paws down to Ky's lower back as the wolf moved his paws to the back of Tobias's neck.

The sound of waves crashing pierced through the beautiful melodic trance music as the couple kissed. The sun started setting, painting the sky and water beautiful colors as two silhouettes expressed their love for each other in the reflection of the sunset on the water. The gold highlights on the clouds slowly dissipated as the sun found its way behind the horizon.

Tobias broke the kiss to say, "I love you so much. I am so glad we came."

"I love you too." responded the wolf as darkness started cover the beach.

"Let's go up to the van to continue this, eh?" Tobias said, giggling.

"Whatever you say, delegate from Canada." Ky responded, referring to his lover's "eh?" as he started laughing.

The couple made their way up the beach, grabbing their clothes along the way, and crawled into the back of the husky's van. Tobias rolled on top of his lover and started making out with him. The canine started moving his paw down to his mate's sheathe, but before he could get his paw to his destination, he was interrupted.

"Shit. Why does that always happen." said the husky in an irritated tone.

"Just answer it." Ky said as he started chuckling.

Tobias found his wadded up pants and dug through them until he found his phone. He looked at the screen and read the name of the caller.

"It's Josh." said the canine in a serious tone.

"Oh... You should answer it." said the wolf as his chuckling stopped.

Tobias slid the phone open and answered it, "Hello?"

"Ummm... Hey Toby." Josh said uneasily.

"Hey Josh." answered the husky.

"... I am so sorry."
