The dark secret had finally been revealed. Galinoth suffered from the blood fury, a condition so rare it has only been witnessed twice before. Chapter 12: The dead shall rise

It has been several days since the incident at Cynder's old fortress. "He believes it is the right thing to do after the other day." Cynder said. She was also sad and worried.

"He would be taking the right course of action in the eyes of our people." Naomi interjected.

The others had decided to leave him alone while he meditates and headed back to the dojo. When they entered the dojo they saw the elders were training. "How is he?" Was the first thing he asked.

"Not good, he still thinks he has committed a great sin." Spyro replied.

"In his view he has, but to us he saved our lives when the condition took hold of him." Ignitus said.

"We owe him our thanks for what he did." Volteer said.

"I know we do, but he will not accept it." Ignitus replied.

"Has he touched any of the berries we have left him?" Cyril asked.

"No he won't touch anything." Spyro replied.

"He has to eat something soon." Cyril said.

"He will eat something when he thinks he has paid his penance." Naomi replied.

"How long will that be?" Terrador asked.

"The last time he paid penance like this it lasted for two months." Naomi replied.

"Two months!" Cynder exclaimed.

"How can anyone survive that long without eating?" Volteer asked.

"Our physiology allows us to go at least three months without the need to consume food." Naomi replied.

"He has got to eat soon." Spyro said.

"I hope he does." Naomi said. She sounded sad while speaking. The others knew there was something wrong.

"What's the matter Naomi?" Cynder asked. She was growing very concerned.

"I'm just upset that he didn't tell me about this." She replied in a very upset tone.

"He must have been afraid of how you might have reacted, he feared hurting you." Ignitus said.

"I just wish he told me." Naomi said.

"He may not have known about it until it was too late." Cynder suggested.

"It's possible, since you said the condition has only been seen twice." Spyro said.

"I know." Naomi replied.

Galinoth had been meditating in the temple gardens. He found it quite here when he was first here and decided to come here everyday to continue his meditations. He had not moved from the spot in the last twelve days. The only time he moved was to get some water from the nearby stream. Once he did that he returned to the exact same spot to meditate undisturbed. He only talked to the others when they mentioned he was been to hard on himself, that he couldn't have done anything about it. But he could've done something. He could've told someone when he realised what was happening. Like he said back at the fortress he was afraid to tell anyone about it, he was afraid of how they would react towards him. "That's true, he can unleash it whenever he wants but I don't think he will unless there is no alternative." Spyro replied.

"No I have not." She replied. She was growing concerned.

"I wonder where he is then." Cynder said.

"Don't worry, I just went to get some food." Galinoth said. "I didn't mean to scare you like that."

"So you have paid penance?" Spyro asked.

"I believe I have." Galinoth replied.

"Ah, there you are." Ignitus said.

"Oh, hi Ignitus." Cynder said.

"I've been looking for you all, come to the pool of visions immediately." He ordered.

With haste everyone hurried to the pool of visions. The other elders were already there and looked concerned.

"What's wrong?" spyro asked.

"The Dark master is performing some sort of ritual." Cyril replied.

"What kind of ritual?" Cynder asked.

"That we do not know" Volteer replied.

"Where is he?" Galinoth asked.

"He has gone to Dante's freezer." Terrador replied.

"You must stop him before he can complete his ritual." Ignitus said.

"We will try." Spyro said.

With grim determination they made there way to Dante's freezer. It took them half an hour to reach their destination. It didn't take them long to find the Darkmaster.

"Ah, you're just in time to see me complete my ritual!" The Dark master bellowed.

There was a crack of lightning in the middle of the room that cracked the floor. Where the lightning struck two figures began to appear. They were only recognisable after the ritual was complete.

"No, it cant be!" Cynder exclaimed.

"Oh but it is, my two most faithful servants are back!" The Dark master bellowed.

Gaul and Skullblaze were brought back from the dead and were eager to exact revenge upon those who ended their lives.
