3 - Companionship
#3 of Something Interesting
Here we go.. another one. Let me say, writing these things would be a lot easier if LMN (Lifetime Movie Network.. *represses urge to vomit*) wasn't the only damn thing the person I share this room with watches. It gets really hard to think when Nutrisystem commercials with songs about how this woman is now winning her own way with her new "Nutri-sexy" self come on every five minutes.
Here goes nothing..
_ _ _ _ _
If you were a clothing store clerk tending to the needs of customers, how would you go about it? Would you sit at the cash register in a foul mood and refuse to help with anything other than ringing up purchases? Would you meet and greet each person as they come in, answering questions and offering advice whenever needed? Maybe you would stay in the back and not interact at all?
Well, what if your first two customers of the day happened to be animals? I don't know how you would react, but I can tell you how the manager of Threads, Threads, Threads at Huntington County Mall did. He nearly had a heart attack. If they hadn't been so surprisingly courteous, he probably would have called for the police, had he not been glued to the spot by a mix of fear and fascination. It was all he could do to ring up their purchase of a few pairs of tan pants and belts, mouth hanging to the counter the entire time.
Fayth puts her clothes on as they walk from the store. Along with her new dark tan baggy baggy pants and studded belt, a perfect copy of Jason's favorites, she is wearing a gigantic smile. Having gotten past his fear of that very same grin within a few minutes of having met her, Jason has come to find it quite fetching, if not overly so. Enthralled, he places a loving arm across her shoulders before striking up a conversation.
"So how does it feel to wear clothing?", he asks. Instead of responding with words, Fayth spins around cheerily and returns to Jason.
"That good, huh?"
"Yep! Gods, we're basically twins, Jace!" It was Jason's turn to respond with body language. He hugged Fayth a little closer to himself and nuzzled his cheek against hers. He felt like he had known her his entire life. What she had said at the pool where they had met, that he and she were both equal and opposite, was more true than Jason had realized at the time. As the days had gone by, Jason had begun to pick up traits from Fayth, such as her irrepressible mirth. Just being around each other was intoxicating. They walked from the mall in high spirits and affectionate arms.
"Tell me, Fayth, how did you get to this world?", said Jason as they entered the parking lot.
"Well, that's a tough one.. I don't know what to tell you. I just woke up here one day. My last memory from the digital world is walking into a cave I found when I had been exploring the area. I was just going to rest for a few hours, but next thing I know I'm in a completely different cave inside of a forest that had really small trees. Honestly, how can the people of this world put up with trees like you have? In my home we have trees the size of this mall!"
"Wait, you just came by accident? How do you know about humans, and what made you think the data you gave me would do anything?"
"Humans are common knowledge where I come from. You made us, you know. As to the data thing, that was just a little experiment I had in mind."
"So you're telling me a digital entity, who didn't even mean to end up here, decided to pick a person and test out an unprecedented idea with no prior knowledge of the consequences?"
"Yep."
"Not only that, but my entire life up until this point won't effect my future?"
"Mmhm."
"And I'm about to try and go to a parallel dimension, again at the whim of that very same furry ball of randomness who caused it all?"
"Yeah. A lot to take in, isn't it?"
"...No, as long as you don't spring anything else on me I think I'll be fine." A coy look materialized on Fayth's muzzle.
"Now that you mention it.."
"Fayth!" Jason's expression became one of mock anger, happiness, and sternness all bundled into one odd-looking package.
"Kidding! Kidding! Ha, your face is priceless, Jace!" As soon as he became aware of the contortionist act his head was involved in, Jason couldn't help but laugh as well.
"One last question; if you came here by accident, how are we going to get back to your home?", asked Jason. Fayth seemed to think for a bit before responding.
"I suppose we could look around that cave I found myself in", answered Fayth, "It's a bit far, though, up for a race?" Without waiting for an answer, she runs out ahead of Jason. It takes him a few seconds to process what just happened, but by the time he does Fayth is far ahead.
"Cheater!", Jason yells playfully to her as he shoulders the bag containing their purchases and begins to run at full speed on all fours. Cheekily, Fayth turns her head back towards him, closes her eyes, and extends her tongue. As she opens them, Jason is nowhere to be seen. She turns her head to face forward once more and finds that he is ahead of her.
"Teleporting? Now who's cheating, Jace?", calls Fayth to Jason. He soon turns his head and makes a similar tongue gesture, before almost losing his footing as he stumbles on a protruding root, not paying attention to the way in which he's running. Fayth uses this opportunity to align herself with Jason.
"We're not far, Jace. It should only be another mile or two." Fayth's calm tone signaled that the time for games was over.
"Good.. *huff*.. I'm bushed!" He looked it, too. His fur was coated in sweat and his breathing was ragged.
"You'll get used to it sooner or later, why I could probably run for another hour or so", said Fayth with a hint of pseudo-superiority in her voice. Her breathing wasn't audible, as if the run was taking nothing out of her.
"Show... off.." Fayth was right. In about one and a quarter miles they had reached the cave, which was merely a damp, dimly lit hole in the side of a large hill. Jason walked in slowly, swaying back and forth ever so slightly. He drops stomach-up to the cave floor; it was all he could do the keep from falling out of pure exhaustion. After catching his breath, he poses a question to Fayth.
"Do you think we could wait to look through the place until a bit later? Right now I need a break.." Jason would have fallen asleep already, had it not been for the chill within the cave. He could feel it despite all of his fur. Fayth was about to protest and suggest that she would go on ahead when she heard Jason's fangs chattering.
"Are you cold?"
"Kind of. Why?" Jason's answer was found as he watched Fayth sit down atop him and wrap her arms about him.
"I guess we could rest for a while if you need to that badly", she said, but he could barely hear her. All he could think of was how warm and soft her body felt above him, and how pleasant she was to his sensitive, dog-like nostrils. He shuts his eyes and begins to purr contentedly. Fayth began to giggle.
"What's up, Jace?.. Jace? Hello?" It was no good; he was fast asleep. Fayth sighs to herself and lays atop him until she, too, starts dozing peacefully.

When he wakes, Jason is saddened to find that Fayth is no longer keeping him warm, but for some reason he doesn't feel the cave's chill anymore. He gets up and stares towards the pitch black portion of the cave which undoubtedly leads inwards. Deciding that he would much rather search for his new companion outside of the cave first, he turns and exits. The moment he left the cave, a forest filled his vision.
It wasn't the forest he had entered the cave in.
"Whoa.." All around Jason was some of the most beautiful scenery he had ever witnessed. It seemed, represented in bushes, grass, and other foliage, were every shade of green one could imagine, and then some. The sky was all colors between powder blue and white, as the clouds didn't appear it be a separate mass; they seemed to gradually form and merge with the rest of the heavens and then slowly dissipate once more. There were trees as large as Huntington Mall, just as Fayth had said, and each teemed with vibrant life.
Jason trekked out into the trees, and it wasn't long before he found a lake that was as clear and blue as the sky above it. The lake reflected the sunlight like a diamond with a million facets. He walked along the bank for a little while until he could take it no longer; the water was too inviting. He stripped and hung his clothes on a nearby tree branch before running at full speed towards the lake and leaping towards it. His body afforded him inhuman grace, allowing him to dive into the waters so artfully as to not make a splash any larger than a few drops rising an inch or so into the air.
The view beneath the waters was as dazzling as the forest had been. The sunlight fell to the lake bed to form odd patterns that appeared to dance before Jason's eyes. There were many odd and fantastic fish, many of which were so strange that only an abstract artist could have thought them up. The most abnormal fish he sees, though, is one that appears to have fur. 'Fur.. what a weird f-- Oh! That must be Fayth!', he thinks, a little slow on the uptake.
Fayth had woken up over an hour before Jason, and was amazed to find that she was back home again. She leaves Jason in the cave, not wanting to wake him, while she reacquaints herself with the digital world. All was as she had left it, if not better, seeing as how she had been away from it for the first time in her life. Fayth moved through the forest outside the cave for a few minutes, taking in all the familiar sights, smells, sounds, and feelings of her world.
She soon came upon the beautiful Sapphire Lake, a place she had loved as a child. Fayth remembers swimming through those gentle waters during the hotter seasons and playing on it's surface in the colder ones. Wanting to experience that old source of joy once more, she decides to take a dip. She removes her belt and pants and slowly wades down into the crystalline pool. Fayth moves out into the lake's center and paddles lightly to remain afloat.
Soon, she switches to a more relaxed position. She floats, belly up, on the surface, enjoying the rays of the sun and the gentle breeze against her bare body. She doesn't have the luxury for much longer, though, as she feels the water about her start to ripple with increasing intensity; almost never a good sign in a world such as this. 'Any beast not hell bent on aggression wouldn't be making such a fuss, unless it's an idiot, of course..', Fayth turns her head and spots the epicenter of the waves, Jason. 'Huh. Wonder what this tells me about Jace.. I'll have to have a talk with him later. If I were anyone else he might be dead by now.'
"Hey, Fayth!", he calls to her.
"Hi, Jace.. Do you really have to ruin a girl's fun like that?", she says back, noticeably displeased.
"Like what?"
"I was relaxing, minding my own business, enjoying the lake, when a certain somebody starts causing a raucous.."
"Oh.. Sorry. Won't happen again. So, this is the digital world? It's even better than I hoped it would be!", he takes another look around as he talks. The sun is beginning to descend towards the horizon, coloring the sky blue, orange, purple, and everything in between, making for an even more spectacular show upon the waters. Jason nears Fayth and calms his pace. When he reaches her he floats behind her and places his arms around her shoulders, making sure to put as little weight on her as possible.
"So, Fayth, now that we're here, what exactly did you have in mind for us to be doing?", instead of answering his question, Fayth sits silently for a time, and then poses her own.
"Jace, what am I to you?", asks Fayth.
"How do you mean?", says Jason, wearing a look of blissful ignorance.
"Well.. when we're together, what do you feel?", still unaware of what she's getting at, Jason answers.
"Happiness, warmth, fun. You know, the kind of stuff that's supposed to come with a good companionship. What am I supposed to be feeling?"
"Look, Jace.. I lied to you before, you weren't a random human. From the moment I laid eyes you, I wanted you, wanted to be near you, wanted to see you when I wake in the morning. Remember when I said I didn't know what would happen when I gave you some of my data? That was only a half truth. Yes, I wasn't sure of how it would effect you, but I suspected you would become a Renomon. I hoped dearly for that, because it would mean that you were an outcast in your world, whereas in mine you would be welcomed with open arms. It was selfish, I know, but you don't know how much I needed you. Now that I know you a little better, I'm sure you would have just come with me anyway.." There was silence for a few minutes after Fayth's speech.
"Fayth, I've never been in a relationship, so I don't know how it's supposed to feel, but I think I love you. You say you want to see me when you wake up? I know what you mean. When I got up this morning I was sad that you weren't there. And when you were warming me up yesterday, it felt so nice. I want to feel like that for the rest of my life.. Is that love?"
"Oh, Jace!" Fayth turns in Jason's arms to face him, leans in, and kisses him. Jason is surprised at first, but he begins to like the fluttery feeling it gives him. It doesn't take him long to shut his eyes, hug Fayth to him more closely, and kiss her back. The two began two move their tongues throughout each other's maw, exploring every nook and cranny lustily. While Jason was entranced, Fayth moved the two of them closer to the shore by paddling her feet.
Upon reaching it, she angles herself to be atop Jason. She moves her hand slowly down his body, brushing his fur lightly as she goes. When Fayth reaches his groin, Jason let forth a whimper, breaking the kiss. He quickly gets used to the feeling of Fayth's hand gently caressing his most intimate area, and starts to lick and nip at her neck. She purrs, causing Jason to become a little more adventurous. He journeys lower until he meets her chest fur, which he promptly brushes aside. He gazes at Fayth's exposed breasts, passably large, but not overly so.
Jason leans forwards and samples her nipples with tongue and tooth, eliciting a teeth-clenched hiss from Fayth. The thought of the pleasure he is giving her, coupled with that which she is him, coaxes his penis from its pouch. Fayth soon takes notice and begins to rub its tip until it stands at its full length, at least seven inches. The pace of Jason's actions slowed as hers increased, much to Fayth's displeasure. She turned in a half circle upon him, so that she was facing his mass as he faced her womanhood. The scent of each gave both Jason and Fayth a lust-driven sense of need.
Jason was the first to act upon it, licking gently at Fayth's lips, paying special attention to her clitoris, which, to him, appeared to be giving her the most pleasure. Fayth tried in vain to return the favor, but her body recoiled each time Jason's rough tongue moved over her clit. She imagined the act, and where it would eventually lead; his taking of her virginity. The thought of his member reaching into her deepest depths pushed her into ecstasy. Jason received a mouthful of her juices, their flavor, sweet yet strong, rushing through his maw. In his fogged mind he believed it could soon become his favorite treat.
After her orgasm subsided, Fayth still wanted more. She suddenly took Jason's cock into her mouth, causing him to yelp. She made sure to lubricate every inch of it before she removed it once more, the night breeze moving past it causing Jason to groan his further disapproval. Once more, she turned above him, back to their original position. She kissed him once more, but that didn't help much. All he wanted was to be warm once more, and, as if sensing this, Fayth moved her cunt into place above his penis and slowly moved her hips downwards.
When Jason penetrated her at long last, both were panting. Fayth's continuing descent threw a few moans into the sensual auditory mix. Sadly, what she knew was going to happen eventually, happened. Her hymen was blocking Jason's progress. Both opened their eyes and discussed how they should proceed.
"Fayth, the last thing I want to do is hurt you, so I'll understand completely if you want to stop." His face was a mask of conflicting emotions. His obvious struggle gave her an idea.
"Yes.. maybe we should stop.." Jason's eyes flew wide.
"What!?" Fayth retrieved her old smile.
"Got ya! Look, Jace, I want this as much as you do. The choice is up to you; do with me what you will." That was the easiest decision Jason ever had to make. With one quick prod, Fayth's maidenhood was stolen. She screamed in white-hot torture, her suffering piercing Jason's heart like a knife. Whatever satisfaction he would normally have felt was lost as he watched the one he loved in such agony. After a minute or so Fayth had calmed down, though she was weeping softly.
"Please tell me you're alright, Fayth."
"I'm fine, Jace. It feels so good to know that we won't have to do that next time, though." When she grinned, Jason knew she was ready for more. He began to slowly hilt himself within her, giving Fayth a sense of completion, as if she was a puzzle, and his body was the final piece. Afterwards, Jason began to extract himself from her, only to thrust himself back in. It wasn't long before he formed a rhythm, which Fayth swiftly adapted to, bucking her hips to meet his advances. The two continued in this manner, each trying their hardest not to come, not for themselves, but simply to prolong their partner's pleasure.
Jason, sensing that Fayth was close from her ragged breathing, quickened his pace and leaned in to suckle her tit. It was all too much, too soon for Fayth, and she couldn't hold herself back any longer, Jason's actions serving to extend her orgasm almost painfully long. The sudden, intense heat within her body gave Jason an unimaginably wonderful feeling which, along with the new lubricants hard at work, spurred him to thrust into his woman even faster. It wasn't long before an area near the base of his penis began to swell until it was too difficult to remove himself from Fayth. He settled instead for rapid, energetic smaller thrusts which led him to his orgasm.
Fayth's depths still quaked with hers, pulling and squeezing Jason's length as it spurted more and more of his semen into her starved womb. The beloved afterglow ensued, encompassing them for a good ten minutes. Fayth was the first to speak.
"I take it you enjoyed that as much as I did?"
"My God, this has been the best day of my life.." Fayth laughed softly.
"Well then, we'll just have to make tomorrow even better, won't we, Jace?" The couple fell asleep in each other's grasp, both wishing they would never have to leave.

To be continued.
_ _ _ _ _
Jason is the most dynamic character I've ever written about.. He starts off as a world-hating, distant, bored-as-hell person, and becomes a fun-loving, happy guy who wants desperately to be close to someone.
Huh. I just realized that I seem to have named my main characters "Temple" and "Faith". Didn't mean for that to happen, but I think it works out pretty well. : )
Side note: If you noticed, I did not use the words "Pain" and "Pleasure" in the same sentence. If you've read as many of the stories on this site as I have, you just might appreciate this. Also, because there are no tamers involved, I was able to stray away from the cliche of "I can't be your tamer, blah, blah." "Why not?" "Because I want to be blah, blah, blah."
Last thing; I should be able to get out a chapter each week or less, excepting major holidays.
