Kess stood patiently outside the door of the Library, her silky hazel eyes scanning the crowded corridors of the school for any signs of the librarian. She was always late, especially on Tuesdays, and Kess knew she could be another fifteen minutes just stood on her own waiting. It was always the same, every lunch time, she was alone, just calmly standing outside the tinted glass door of the Library. She watched as the other students, from first years to the elder college students, just skimming in and out of the nearby classrooms, chatting and getting on with their lives. Kess's round brown eyes watched as a group of younger students, maybe three or four years younger than her, scurry past her in a girlish huddle. Their squeals and laughter drowning out Kess's thoughts, and their trundling through the corridors just adding to her annoyance. First years, she thought, and shot them a forced smile from her dark pointed muzzle. Her pearly fangs protruding from her black lips, the younger students began to shuffle a little faster down the hall, whilst Kess gave a lightened chuckle to herself.

After around ten minutes, Kess's eyes spotted a familiar face, the weathered face of a beige furred Rabbit. Her long floppy ears draped down over her small frame, atop of a dusty pink cardigan stitched with a white seam. The buttons a small plastic piece shaped like flowers, fastening the loose garment together. Her small beady eyes were nestled behind the frame of her thick set glasses, the rims a vibrant orange in comparison to her whole fashion set up. Nevertheless, Kess let a warm, welcoming smile creep upon her muzzle lips. The Lapin fur approached, her greying head fur set back in a neat bun.

"Hello Kess Dear, Im so sorry I'm late - the coffee machine wasn't working as well as I'd hoped" She mumbled, and brought her left hand forwards, showing said cup of coffee to the canine standing before her. Its warm aroma drifted into Kess's nostrils, and what with her sense of smell, she could practically taste the liquid.

"Its alright Mrs. Darwin," Kess started, and began to shift towards the door.

"They should get it fixed huh?"

"I couldn't agree more, my dear. But, you know what Mr. Hunt is like, his wallet size is apparently not quite big enough to stretch for another coffee machine. All the other teachers have complained. You see, coffee keeps us alive at seven in the morning" The rabbit chimed, her ears twitching with annoyance, a regular tell tale sign of her emotions. Kess had gotten used to her moods being portrayed through her large weathered ears, and she could always tell what was on her mind.

"Yeah well Mr. Hunt thinks everything is too expensive, everyone knows that" Kess rolled her eyes with amusement, and heaved her bag on it's rightful place under her arm. The rabbit had fumbled about with the keys to the Library, and slowly unlocked the door, the hinges creaking with age. Every time the door opened, Kess felt as if her imagination had expanded in the blink of an eye. It was a portal to the many different worlds that her beloved authors had created, and she loved the freedom of being able to go back in time in one book, and forwards to the future in another. The canine slowly began to walk over to her regular spot, a black bean bag with little green spots scattered around the base. It was the comfiest seat she had ever sat on, and she had mentally dubbed it as hers. With a heavy sigh, she dumped her brown leather bag onto the dark blue carpet at her feet, the contents bulging to the side as the impact hit it. Whilst letting her eyes wander around the books, she heard as her round fluffy ears perked backwards, the sound of Mrs.Darwin assembling the various books and files that lay on her desk. The books were strewn across all of her folders and pieces of work, and yet she never bothered to move them, for they would only magically appear the way they had before she cleaned them.

"We got a new shipping of books in today, dearie" The rabbit chimed from behind her desk, her fumbling still apparent.

Kess swirled around, a gentle smile still on her canine sculpted face. Her mottled brown muzzle wrinkled with excitement, her teeth visible with her joyous expression. She flounced over to the desk, where Mrs.Darwin had brandished a neat cardboard box on the desk. The rabbit calmly undid the masking tape that secured the box's flaps, all the while whilst Kess was leaning casually over the wooden desk. Her eyes constantly checking for when the box was to reveal the newest additions to the library, always wanting to see the new crips pages. When the moment finally came, Mrs.Darwin dipped her slender hands into the box, and lifted around six fresh books out of the cardboard protection. Kess gazed at them longingly, and smiled as the rabbit dropped them onto the desk in front of the canine.

Kess browsed the neat, crisp covers and pages with delicate fingering, careful not to damage the fragile objects. Then, one particular book caught her eye, a thick paged novel, by an old authour she had never heard of. With a swift motion, she picked it up, and studied the description on the back. Something about a long lost romance, with dire consequences at the end. It was different, and she had read most of the novels in the library already, so she cleared her throat with a suggestive tone. She held the book between two digits, and held it in front of the rabbit.

"Yes, my dear, as long as you want" Mrs.Darwin chuckled, and continued with processing the new books and files. Kess gleamed, and made her way with the book back to her bag. Casting a weary eye back to old fashioned clock, she found the time to be the beginning of her next lesson; Mathematics. Oh joy, and she was going to be late. With quickened shuffling, she gathered her belongings and and heaved her bag under her arm once more. She fumbled her way towards the door, whilst bidding a farewell to the old rabbit.

"Same time Monday dearie?" Mrs.Darwin asked, and in response, Kess nodded happily and walked through the tinted glass doors. Her loosely curled hair bouncing around her shoulders as she almost jogged down the hall. The corridors were almost empty, and she cursed herself mentally for not checking the time sooner. As she eventually found her Math room, she braced herself for what she knew was going to happen. Detention? A bad grading?

She pushed the door open, and as it creaked, she knew she was drawing attention to herself. To her surprise, everyone was standing up, and scattered around the room. Mr. Karthon, her Mathematics teacher, was stood with a peice of paper at the head of the room. His equine shape neatly dressed in a navy blue suit, whilst his roman shaped nose supported a tidy pair of glasses that he peered through. His dapple grey fur was dulled with his middle age, and yet his mane and tail never lost it's gleam. Some of the other furs had admitted to a crush on the stallion, but Kess could never see the appeal.

"Ah, Kess Farrows, how nice of you to join us" He smirked, and gave an understanding smile of ease. The stallion left her lateness at that, but a certain fur that went by the name of Lacie didn't.

"Ugh, she was probably in the library again, she never leaves there. Its so sad, she has to read books as a substitute for friends!" She snorted, her vixen features contorted with disgust. Lacie was the type of girl that made everyone who wasn't her friend, feel like the lowest piece of scum that ever walked the earth. Her big round eyes could shoot some evil glares, and she had the sleekest tail. Her light copper fur was in top condition, and her bright red hair was always styled professionally. She had probably slept with most of the guys in their year, and the one above - and yet the males still found her irresistible.

Kess gritted her teeth, but flushed a bright crimson under her light brown pelt. Everyone was looking at her, sniggering with the vixen's comment.

"Thats enough, Ms.Chambers, now if you don't mind, we need to re-arrange the seating plan" The stallion quipped, and rustled his paper with emphasis. Lacie rolled her eyes and began to talk to an equally pretty koala who shot Kess an apologetic glance. Kess breathed heavily, trying desperately to hold back tears that threatened her eyes, the stinging becoming unbearable.

"Right, Kerrie Farne, Jasmine Smith, Gareth Tusso and Bianca Coleman, front row, in that order if you please" Mr.Karthon ordered, and watched as a bunch of students settled in their new seats, all chatting and discussing how the new arrangements were a load of crap.

The stallion called out a few more names, including Lacie's, and gave them their ordered seats. The vixen shoved Kess out of the way, brutally knocking the canine's shoulder with force. Kess grunted, and swept her hand into her hair to neaten it up. Loose curls tousled round her neck and shoulders, but Kess fussed over her features that much to realize she and someone else were called to sit at the back corner on a two seater desk.

Blaise, a young alsatian, with an attractive face was already sat on the two seater. The canine hadn't being paying attention whilst throwing a paper ball at a lanky reptile, so he didn't hear the stallion call Kess's name out after his. Coming back to her senses, Kess breathed deeply, and made her way over to the seat that had been chosen for her. Hesitantly, she sunk into her chair, whilst Blaise was still occupied in his paper ball game. She observed her new Math partner, and let her eyes wader around what she could see of his face. Bright, almost electric green eyes, nestled in a black face mask that continued down his neck and what she guessed, all the way down his back. His luxorious neck fur was softly tucked away under his uniform, which he wore with style. Sure, his tie was slack and his trousers a little loose around the ankles, but he knew how to make the best of what he had.

Soon after the class had calmed, and Kess had got settled, the alsatian finally turned around. Kess was expecting the canine to scowl at her, and intend to make every period of math hell, but he simply turned his head towards her, and gave a warm smile. Shocked, but pleased, Kess gave him a gentle smile in return. She swiped her paw across her face, trying to tidy her hair up, almost self conscious of what she looked like in front of him. The alsatian leaned over the opposite direction of her, and managed to find his book and equipment for the lesson. Mr.Karthon was already delving into complex number division, and yet Kess couldn't wait until it came down to the work side, perhaps hoping Blaise would talk to her. She had seen him around, and he wasn't popular or unpopular, just average in the school hierarchy. Then again, he was further up than she was ever going to be, so she kissed all hope of a conversation goodbye.

Assembling her own equipment, she jotted down some information, and waited until Mr.Karthon gave the go ahead to solve the problems in the work book. When that time came, she calmly started to write down some answers until a warm voice startled her.

"So, its Kess huh?" The alsatian asked, his tone genuine. He had turned towards her, with his pen twiddling between his two main digits.

Kess cleared her throat, and nodded.

"Blaise, although Sir probably said that earlier" He chimed, and smiled as a light chuckle emitted through his lips.

"Yeah, I heard him" Kess mumbled, and with new found embarrassment blushed again as the handsome Alsatian was actually talking to her. She had never really spoke to a boy, especially one as good looking as Blaise, before now. They all hovered around the girls like Lacie Chambers and her gang of equally self obsessed cronies. Kess always thought herself not good enough to socialize with the males, and the females always pushed her out. She wasn't sure why, she had never got on the wrong side of anyone, and she was never bitchy or aggressive.

"Well, uh Kess, do you get any of this math stuff? I mean, complex fractions aren't exactly easy" He asked, and began to chew on his pen tip, his pearly teeth gripping with ease at the nib.

Kess began to shift uneasily, and gave a nervous smile. She did get the work, but she didn't want to seem like a know-all. She simply fiddled with her pen, and leaned over to open the work book to explain. As she did this, the alsatian let his jaded eyes wander around the shy canine's form. She had light brown, loosely curled hair, that was just past her shoulder length. Her eyes were a warm hazel, and her lashes were a deep black that had been outlined with a subtle sweep of eyeliner. Her fur was a gentle tone of light brown, with mottling at her muzzle of a white colour, whilst she had a dark slate grey saddle that ran from her neck all the way down to her back. Her face was flecked with delicate black spots, and that continued along her prominent nose. She wasn't thin or slender, but she was no where near fat. She had curves that tickled his eye, and he found himself trying to take his burning stare away from her.

Kess smiled and opened the book, the questions clear and plain. Taking her pen, and with new found confidence, she used her pen as a pointer for the alsatian to follow.

"Alright, these numbers here, you take them and you put the..." Kess began, but stopped abruptly as she found Blaise not following. He was looking at her, and smiling. Kess cocked her head in sheer confusion, and let a nervous chuckle erupt from her lips.

"What? Was I not explaining it well enough?" She asked innocently, unaware of what the problem was.

"Explain to me how come I haven't seen you around school before. I knew you were in my Math class, but I never see you around the halls or other rooms." Blaise retorted, and gave a heart warming smile to the shy canine. He knew that her reputation was the quiet, timid girl who kept to herself, but he needed to hear her side of the story.

Kess stuttered, her eyes blinking with hesitance to say where she went every opportunity. This was it, she was going to push away the only fur who had expressed any interest, and just because she took refuge in the library.

"Well, uh, you'll think its sad, but I go to the library and read up a lot" Kess stammered, and cleared her throat with anxiety. She braced herself for when Blaise would let rip a snigger and joke around with her. To her amazement, there was no laugh, no nasty comment, but a calm smile on the alsatian's face.

"Cool, its better than you going round the bike shed for a cigarette and fucking your insides up" He muttered, whilst casting an eye over to Lacie Chambers. He knew her habits and where she went to do it, as most people did. Blaise couldn't figure out why so many males stuck around her considering her habits and foul temperament. But hey, this girl was something different, and Blaise loved different.

"I guess thats one way of putting it, but I don't know, I just love being able to read and let my imagination run wild." Kess mused, and smiled in her day dreaming. She quickly blushed as she realized she had just delved her inner most secret to him. He had only been talking to her for fifteen minutes, and yet she had spilled her deepest feelings to him. Then again, he had been the nicest fur she had spoken to in a long time.

Blaise nodded, and ran a paw through his dark brown head fur. Each strand brushing his long slender paws, he brought his hand back around to his front and placed them onto the table.

"Thats interesting, what kind of books do you read?" Blaise asked, with genuine curiosity.

"Uhm, a little of everything - I guess" She answered him, nervously fiddling around with her hair.

Blaise smiled, and made a small Hmming sound. That was all he did for the rest of the lesson. He would occasionally have a glance at Kess, and then shyly turn away. Kess found it slightly unnerving, not knowing what he was thinking. All she could do was ponder what she would do every Math lesson whilst he ignored her. She could see it now, her, sat doing her work, looking so out of place with the handsome alsatian at her side.

When the end of lesson came, so did the end of the school week. That final bell rang, and as the class fumbled about getting their belongings, Kess assembled her books and got her bag under her arm, and started to walk outside the classroom. Her fellow Math students fanned out before her, all making their way to the Hall doors, ready to leave school. Kess's hazel eyes gazed at the door, longing to be out of school, when she felt a strong paw placed upon her shoulder.

Spinning around with a bewildered expression on her face, she smiled nervously as she recognized the fur standing before her. Blaise was stood, his satchel slung over his shoulder casually, whilst his coat hung loose around his chest.

"Uh, hi Blaise - whats up?" She asked quietly. Her eyes averted down to the floor, only to stare at her black shoes, as scuffed as they were, and Blaise's casually ripped sneakers.

"I was wondering, if I could maybe come with you to the library on Monday?" He muttered shyly, whilst trying to occupy himself with readjusting his satchel. Kess's head shot up with a dumbfounded face, her eyes wide with shock.

"Huh?" She gawped, and stared at him.

"Well, I kind of like to read, but I was kind of embarrassed in front of my friends to say anything" He whispered, coming close to to her ear for emphasis. He made one last look around to check none of said friends were lurking. To his liking, there was only him, Kess and the empty school halls.

Kess's face contorted into a gentle smile, and with her fangs, she bared a gleeful grin. Could this really be happening? The only fur she had ever spoken on conversational terms with, actually wanted to come to her domain and indulge in the pleasures she did? Or could he be toying with her?

"Are you serious? Because if this is a joke ... " She contemplated, and furrowed her brows with hesitation.

Blaise cut her off with a gentle push on her shoulder, and a mellow expression on his face. His alsatian features relaxed with genuine feeling.

"Yeah, Im totally serious, you seem down to earth and easy to be around. Heck, you have alot more to you than such as Lacie Chambers" He chimed, his voice turning in disgust at the mention of Lacie. Suddenly, Blaise became aware that he and Kess were in the school after time, and he gestured for her to walk with him out of the doors. She agreed and casually strolled beside him.

"Wow, your the first guy I've talked to that doesn't like Lacie" She muttered, and winced quickly.

"Actually, your the only guy I've actually talked to" She whispered quietly, and with a new found feeling of insecurity, she felt naked, like everyone could see her embarrassment. She glanced down at the concrete pavement she and Blaise were walking on, the cracks visible like the canine's blushing red cheeks. Never had she thought she would get this embarrassed about explaining something to a boy, and yet here she was.

"Hey, some people are just naturally shy. Like me, for example, I find it hard to talk to new people too" He said calmly, and looked at the road ahead. They were walking down a familiar stretch of neighborhood, one which Kess knew by heart. The houses had brick walls with delicate little windows, and all the gardens were carefully trimmed and neatened with vibrant flowers. Summer was upon them, and the sun could not have been brighter.

"You? You didn't seem to have any problem talking to me" She replied, slightly confused at his contradiction.

Blaise gave a light chuckle and turned his black masked face towards her, his vivid green eyes piercing hers.

"You looked, nice, easy to talk to, and like you had nothing to prove - if that makes any sense?" He laughed lightly, whilst shuffling his satchel around his shoulder. His dark hair blew over his face, he breathed a puff of air into the direction to rid himself of that annoyance.

Kess smiled broadly, out of eye contact with the alsatian. That was the nicest thing anyone had ever said to her, and coming from a boy it was a welcome surprise.

"Thats sweet - and hey, sure, we can go to the library Monday if you like" She finished, as she realised she had arrived at her street. In a way, she wished that she could have walked a little longer with the alsatian, but alas, her destination was just a few yards away.

Blaise smiled, his lips turned up at the sides with pure joy as he knew what would come after the weekend. His black nose twitched, and his feet shuffled as they stood, ready to bid each other farewell.

"Sounds great - I look forward to it!" Blaise chuckled sweetly, and made a hand gesture in goodbye. Kess smiled gently, and turned her back to walk to her door. She curiously turned her head back, to catch another glimpse at her new friend. It sounded so strange to call him that, but it worked, and she was content with that title. All she saw was his figure, slowly walking further down the road.

She made her way down her path, and onto the porch that had been so tastefully decorated by father. He really knew how to dress the place up, and the porch had delicate fairy lights entwined around the banister, trailing up and along the steps. The wood was pine, fresh and clean cut, its smooth surface a delight to walk on. The canine stepped lightly up the stairs, a smile broad on her muzzle with her recent befriending of the attractive alsatian. She put her paw on the shiny brass doorknob, and turned with ease, the door smoothly swinging open.

Whatever smile she had on her face, soon disappeared.

Her mother and father were sat in the well lit kitchen, but the room was silent, and an eery atmosphere stunned Kess as she entered the room. Her mother's eyes were red and blotchy, and her hair was unkempt and messy. Her father on the other hand, wasn't upset, he just looked angry and annoyed for some reason. He was staring out the window, onto the garden.

"Whats going on?" Kess asked, her voice cracking with uncertainty.

Her mother, a tawny brown wolf, sniffed and blinked uneasily.

"Honey, me and your father have been talking," She started, and averted her brown eyes from Kess's.

"And we have agreed that maybe it would be best if we called it a day, and moved on with our lives"

Kess dropped her bag with shock, the contents spilling over the tiled floor.

"H,h how do you mean?" She stammered, and edged backwards, as if her parents were her mortal enemies.

"On our relationship, Kess" Her father interrupted, still staring out of the window.

Kess stared vacantly at her parents, the two furs she had to rely on more than anyone in the world. She knew they had been arguing, but to this extent? The rows had got more frequent and more explosive, but Kess always went up to her room, and sat on her bed, desperatley hoping to drain the noise out with her guitar playing. It never worked. She could always hear the one sided argument, each parent thinking they were right, and that the opposite was wrong.

Kess's eyes welled with tears, the stinging causing her to rub violently at them. With a gasp of sadness, the wolf spun around and swung the door open once again, this time with force, enough to almost slam it into the kitchen walls. She vigorously ran down the steps, her footsteps slamming against the smooth wood. All she wanted to do was run as far away as possible, to escape the realization she knew had come. Her legs beat to a fast rythm, and she ran all the way past where she had walked with Blaise, through the neigborhood and down past the local gas station. There were a couple of people staring at her, as the wolf sobbed her heart out in a fast paced sprint through the area.

When she knew she could run no more, she stopped, gasping between the sobs, and wiped her hazel eyes of the tears that had accumulated. Out of the blurred vision, she could make out a small wooden bench, a decorative ornament on the verge of a small grassed area. She walked over, her feet scuffing the concrete, whilst her fists rubbed at her blotchy red eyes. Slumping, she collapsed onto the bench, a mighty heap of sobbing canine just pouring her heart out into her arms that wrapped hard around her head.

After what seemed hours, she felt a soft paw clutch at her shoulder. Surprised, she brought her head up, her red eyes making out a familiar face.

"Oh Blaise, don't look at me, I don't want you to see me like this" She groaned, and buried her head back into her arms, neatly folded on her knees and she sat upright with her feet on the bench.

Blaise furrowed his brows, his usually well featured face contorting with concern. What possibly could have got her so upset? The alsatian slowly shuffled around, and sat beside her on the bench, unsure of what distance was appropriate. In the end, he chose to come a little closer to her, hoping she would realize it was out of concern. Kess meanwhile, had brought her head back up again, and was looking at Blaise who was sat so near to her.

"Blaise, what are you doing here anyway?" She asked, and sniffed.

The alsatian leant back, and sighed, his eyes glazing over as the afternoon sun hit his eyes.

"I was over at my uncle's gas station, I sometimes call over there after school. It, uh, gets me out of the house I guess." Blaise murmured, and shifted slightly closer to her. He didn't want to seem forwards, but he wanted to comfort her as best he could.

"Kess, whats going on?" He whispered, and placed his paw once again on her shoulder. He squeezed gently, hopefully getting his question through to her.

Kess sniffed again, and blinked slowly. Who else had she to talk to? He at the moment, was the only person she could rely on. He had taken the time to come and ask what was wrong, and he had actually been the nicest fur she had ever talked to.

"My parents want a divorce" Kess said bluntly, and buried her muzzle into her wrapped arms again, but still peered at Blaise through stuffy hazel eyes. She shifted uneasily, and made a sad whine as she realized the reality of what came out of her mouth. The D word sounded so vile and awful, and yet it was happening.

Blaise sighed and ran a paw through his head fur, his face dropped as he pulled his muzzle into a frown. Kess had to go through this, and the shit at school? It didn't add up, why did the decent furs always have such bad luck? His alsatian frame tensed, and then expelled a heavy breath of sorrow.

"Oh Kess, Im so sorry - I don't know what could possibly make anything better, but would a hug help?" He said with a genuine tone, and let a small smile creep on his lips. He hoped his last comment didn't annoy or get the wrong reaction off Kess, but he held his arms open anyway.

Kess sighed, and gave a gentle smile in answer to Blaise's suggestion. She shyly opened her own arms, and loosened her body for the embrace she was soon wrapped in with Blaise. His well toned arms soon found her body, and he wrapped them tight around her. Her frame was tense, as much as she had tried to soften it, she was nervous. This was the furthest she had ever got with a boy, and she was half expecting Blaise to shove her away.

Eventually, she let her own arms cling to his body, his warmth so welcoming and nice, she felt as through she was hanging to her only support. She nestled her head into his neck, his scent laced with a fragrant cologne. She became over whelmed, and began to sob into his jacket once again. She tried to hold it in, as she was half afraid that she would ruin Blaise's clothes. But she couldn't let it stay in and push at her to get out. No, she just let her heart out into the alsatian that embraced her so warmly.

Blaise made shushing sounds, and rubbed her back with his thumb digit, soothing and calming her. He hated anyone to be upset, especially friends, and he always did the best he could to alleviate the pains of growing up. He never knew what to say, and half the time he never knew what to do.

"I just don't know what to do anymore Blaise, I don't know what I should do, where I should go. I can't go back home, Blaise, I cant" She gasped, and let out a few more tears.

"I know Kess, its gonna be hard, and I'll not tell you it will be pleasant, but it will get easier as the days go on" Blaise muttered, and squeezed her tightly once again. Kess however, pinned her ears back, and pulled away from the alsatian's grip.

"How would you know? How could you possibly know what I have got to face when I go back to my home tonight, huh?!" She growled, and bared her teeth. How dare he speak to her like he knew what she was going through? He couldn't possibly know, and he never would.

Blaise sat there, his arms swung loosely by his side, his expression hurt by her words. The sun was just beginning to climb down from it's peak in the sky, with warm orange tones lighting the area which grew more and more deserted as the moments went by.

"I would know, actually. My parents divorced three years ago, and my world fell apart, so yes, I do have some idea. In fact, I feel much worse pain than you Kess." He stammered, and watched as Kess's face softened into an apologetic expression. Her ears hung low, and her muzzle dropped.

"Yeah, my parents decided one day after the divorce, to try and give the relationship one last go. But they never got to see the outcome, Kess. They were hit by a heavy goods vehicle, and were killed instantly. So don't treat me like I don't have any idea what Im talking about, okay?" He finished, his voice weak and cracked at the end. This was the first time in three years he had spoken about the accident, not even to his friends had he spoken about it.

Kess's face dropped into a horrified expression, with a wide eyed expression and a heavy heart. She felt like shit, and she couldn't have been more upset or sorry. His parents were dead? He always looked so content and fine at school, and all this was going on at home? God, she had no idea.

"Blaise, I, uh, I" She stuttered, and held back as the distance between the two had lengthened considerably. Blaise's green eyes flicked up to her, and he saw how sorry she was she had brought the sensitive issue up.

"You said you needed a place to stay?" Blaise choked, and gathered his bag and jacket from the bench.

Kess cocked her head slightly, and was puzzled as to the comment the alsatian just made. Although she didn't know where it came from, she had to admit he was speaking the truth.

She nodded, and looked through hazel eyes up at him with curiosity.

"You can stay with me if you want, I live at my Grandma's, she's just down the road if you need somewhere to get away from your own home" He responded, and stood up gently, adjusting his bag and jacket to place right on his torso. He knew that the pressure and atmosphere in the home of said divorce would be hard for anyone, so the option was there for her. He just hoped that it wasn't too soon after knowing her for only a day. But he felt, close to her.

"Are you sure Blaise? I mean, your Grandma would be fine with it? I'll admit, I could do with the break" Kess stuttered, her voice calmer now, after assessing the situation. She had wondered what it would be like, but her mind swept back to her parents. and how they must have been worrying about her. Without Blaise seeing, she took her mobile phone out of her jeans pocket, and sent a text message back to her fathers cell, something about she was staying at a friends for the night. A few awkward minutes later, she was on her feet, and walking beside the alsatian down the well lit road. It was dark, and the only light source was the street lamps that were scattered down the pavement.

Eventually, after about five minutes, they arrived at a neat little house, no garage or huge or back garden, but a small front porch with decorative flowers strewn neatly across the floor. It was a white house, with brown rimmed windows, that all had lilac curtains nestled inside. A small garden light was on, it's glow guiding the two up towards the door.

Blaise turned the handle, and the huge green wooden door opened into a small kitchen, the units all a nice textured oak, its colour rich and smart. There was a dining table, with three chairs hung around it, and a neat vase of flowers, similar to the ones out front. It was cosy, and very welcoming.

"Grandma? Im home" Blaise called out, and slung his jacket and bag over a hook at the back of the door they had just come through. Kess stood awkwardly, not knowing what to say or do. The alsatian gestured to take her coat, and as she removed it, she heard the foot steps of a canine enter the room.

Her eyes brushed over to a small, old alsatian in the hallway, her face weathered and worn, yet visibly easy to see that she was attractive for such old age. She had grey hair, that curled like cotton wool on her head, so wispy and and soft. The old canine was wearing a floral dress, and a pair of tartan carpet slippers that hung neatly over her paws.

"Hello my darling," The old one greeted her grandson, and squinted uneasily at Kess, trying to figure out who she was and if she had seen her before.

"Hey, this is Kess, a friend from school" Blaise continued, and walked towards the old canine.

Kess stood there, still and shyly. Meeting new people didn't come naturally to her, and this was no different. Even though she figured Blaise's Grandma was noone to be scared of, she couldn't help but feel afraid.

"Hi there" Kess squeaked, and edged over to Blaise, who had now gotten a glass of water from the sink. She shuffled slightly near him, and as the alsatian heard, he smiled to himself, and turned to his Grandma.

"Hello there my sweet, Im Lynne, and as you've probably guessed, Im Blaise's grandma" The old canine chuckled sweetly, much the same way to Mrs. Darwin. After comparing the two, Kess felt instantly better, and loosened up gently, giving Lynne a warm smile.

"Listen, Grandma, Kess is having a rough time at home, so I said she could stay here maybe?" Blaise explained, and spoke with uncertainty. He knew his grandma would not object to helping anyone out, so he simply leaned against the door frame casually, nearing Kess.

The elderly canine coughed, but smiled calmly. After walking over to Kess, and gently tipping her chin in a motherly notion, she turned to the couple.

"Of course my dears, and if Kess needs anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll be soon off to bed, but have the TV on as long as you like," She spoke softly, in a way that reassured Kess immensely of her fears. Blaise looked satisfied, and relieved Kess was made so welcome. Then again, he expected nothing less.

Lynne began to shuffle out of the kitchen, and into the stairway, shortly disappearing up them and out of earshot.

"Well, I guess we can see whats on the TV huh?" Blaise said, and gestured for Kess to follow him through the kitchen and into the Living room. This room was just as cosy and warm as the last, and Kess took in her new surroundings. A large, cushiony couch, situated around a medium sized, but wide TV. The carpets were cream, as the warm bronze colour of the walls harmonized each other. A huge, open log fire was gently burning away, the licks of flames lapping the side of the frames. Countless ornaments and photos scattered around the room. One in particular caught Kess's eye; a small portrait picture of Blaise. His puppy fur was so soft and wispy, and his ears were not quite erect, but floppy and lolled about over one vibrant eye.

"Looking at me?" She heard a voice say from behind her. Blaise was sat comfortably on the couch, with the TV on and the remote in his paw. Kess smiled, and turned around to sit down beside him.

"Yeah, you were quite cute actually" She chuckled, and leaned back into the warm cushions that rest on the frame of the suit.

"What, Im not cute now?" Blaise joked, and gave a light laugh. He had also leaned back, his body parallel with Kess, their frames fixed towards the TV. Something was on about cars, and a mechanic who sold faulty engines; nothing interesting.

"Well, I suppose," Kess blurted, and blushed quickly afterwards. She had just said she thought Blaise was cute, without her even knowing. Playing it back, she knew she was speaking the truth she had inside, and thought nothing of it. Girls must tell the guys they were cute all the time, she thought over and over.

Blaise on the other hand, simply smiled to himself, and shuffled about on the couch. It's large cream pillows were soft and comforting to rest on, and it almost swallowed you as you sat on. How many times had he sat on the very spot he was in now, and sobbed his own heart out at the loss of his parents? He had lost count, but none of it mattered anyway. It was just another excuse to feel sorry for himself, and he hated self pity. His Grandma had always told him there was a silver lining to everything; but a fatal car crash involving the death of both parents? Where was the silver lining there?

Kess glanced at Blaise, her hazel eyes darting around his own jaded eyes. They never lost their youthful stare, as demonstrated in the family photos and portraits. They were more alike than they could have ever anticipated, and Kess felt more and more close to him by the minute.

"Blaise, how did you cope; when your parents wanted to divorce?" She asked softly, and angled her body so it was facing him. Her arm was supporting her head, whilst her legs were crossed neatly in anticipation for his answer.

Blaise sighed, and brought his gaze from her eyes. That question had burned him mentally, and he didn't exactly know how to put into words how he felt.

"I guess, I just accepted it. There was no way around it, so I had to deal with it and make it as best as I could" He muttered, and scratched his head awkwardly.

Kess pouted contemplatively, and nodded gently, her ears flopping with the motion.

"It'll be okay Kess. Don't worry - and if you ever need anyone to talk to, Im always here" Blaise whispered with heartfelt emotion, and loosened his stance on the couch, his body totally sunk into the materials. He saw how Kess had adjusted her own body, and he figured if she could be relaxed, he definitely could. The glow from the fire was warm, and a gentle glow of the flames illuminated the room. It was unbelievably cosy, and the two canines sat there, alone, just sharing their thoughts.

Kess smiled as the alsatian gave her the most comforting words she had heard all day. He had the kind of voice that just soothed her, and made her feel so much more easy in his presence.

"Thanks, Blaise. For everything" She whispered back, and stroked her hair back from her face, placing it behind one ear. Her side parted fringe swept loosely over one eyeliner stained eye, whilst the rest of her hair had just hung in curls around her shoulders and neck.

Blaise smiled calmly, and brought the remote in his paw whilst directing it at the television. With a quick press of the button, the TV was turned off, whilst a calm silence hung in the Lounge. The only sound made was the gentle cracking of the fire, and the two canine's breathing. Kess's especially had paced up, why had he turned the TV off? Was something going to happen?

In an instant, Blaise had leaned over and stood up, his joints popping back into place after sitting so calmly with the wolf. He stood tall, and stretched his arms up above his head, his whole body elongated in a long frame. His tail was strung out straight, and his paws clenched as he was still engulfed by the stretch. Kess meanwhile, was still sitting on the couch, watching Blaise as he finished his display.

"I'll go and get you a blanket, you don't mind sleeping here on the couch, do you?" He asked softly, and dropped from his stretch. He waited for Kess to answer, and silently stood before her.

"Uh, sure, I can pretty much sleep anywhere" She said lightly, and sat upright. She had no objections to sleeping on the warm, luxurious couch, and since Blaise would only be upstairs, she felt at ease and settled.

Blaise nodded, and began to walk out of the Lounge, into a nearby cupboard. After a few minutes, he returned shortly with a huge baby blue blanket, which looked like silk, but had a warmer texture. It shimmered like silver, and it's icy colour looked so out of place among the hot orange tones. Kess sat, and waited patiently for Blaise to hand her the cloth, and for her to near for sleep.

"Here you go, this should be warm enough" Blaise said gently, and gave the silky blanket to a very tired Kess. She accepted the fabric, and smiled back to Blaise.

"Thanks, so I guess I'll see you in the morning?" Kess replied, and began to remove her jumper, leaving her in a pink string top.

Blaise nodded, and began to leave the room, pacing towards the stairs. His tail hung low near the floor, and his paw pads tapped lightly against the cream carpet. Soon enough, Kess could no longer hear him, and she figured he had gone upstairs. There she was, sat in her friend's grandma's house, alone and tired on a couch, clutching to a silver blue cloth. She felt strange, being here, and not back at her parent's house.

She removed her trousers, and neatly folded them in a pile on the floor, next to her green jumper. Her legs were nothing to be proud of, they weren't fat, but she was nothing like the models on TV with slender shapely legs. Her hips were wide, but she had a fairly flat stomach, and a well proportioned bust suited her frame. Scowling at her legs, she left her underwear, a pair of girly boxers, on and continued to remove her socks. Feeling like she had taken as much as she wanted off, she took the blanket and draped it over her body. Leaning back on the couch, she nestled into the warm fabric, and huddled into a ball as she tried to sleep.

The hours passed, and Kess had fallen into a deep slumber on the couch, her dreams coming fast and vivid. Dreams where she couldn't remember where she was or who she was, only feeling lost and alone. She desperately wanted to wake up, but her sub conscience wouldn't let her, it held her in a taunting grip of fear.

Kess's eyes opened, and her ears flicked around to a creaking sound coming from behind her. The room she had fallen asleep in was dark, and only a gentle glow from the dying fire was her only light source. The windows were shut, the curtains drawn and closed neatly. Her eyes adjusted to the new low lit light, and her ears still perked to discern the sound that was approaching.

She could hear the footsteps coming closer, and then pass quietly as they trailed into the kitchen that was just around the corner.

She sat upright, the blanket falling from her body and pool around her waist. Her hands propped her up, whilst her head strained to see who was in the kitchen.

A few moments later, a familiar form came out of the darkness, and halted before the couch.

"Kess? I thought you were asleep" The voice whispered softly.

"Blaise?" Kess groaned groggily, and relaxed as she knew the face behind the voice. What had surprised her, however, was the lack of clothes he now possessed. He was wearing nothing, except a pair of blue boxers, that hung loosely around his waist.

Kess's eyes trailed to his torso, a firm and well toned chest, and a small hint of muscle in the ab region. He had the same golden coat on most of his body, except for a small black tuft that trailed from the bottom of his stomach, and disappeared down into the boxers he was wearing. It didn't take a genius to figure where that went, and yet Kess couldn't take her eyes away from him.

"Yeah, I just came down for a glass of water" He whispered, and held out said glass of water in emphasis. His expression was puzzled as to why she was staring, but he furrowed his brows in curiosity.

"Can't you sleep or something?" He added, and shifted, slightly self consious with the gawping wolf at his waist.

Kess flopped back on the couch, staring upside down at the alsatian stood before her.

"You could say that. What time is it anyway?" Kess mumbled, and rubbed her eyes.

Blaise swung his head towards a small golden framed clock placed on the wall, and read as the hands pointed to 2:30 in the morning.

"Its half past two" He replied shortly, and yawned, baring all his pearly white teeth.

Kess groaned again. It would be at least another five hours before the sun rose, and she knew that sleep was not an option. She stared at the ceiling, and all that was looking back were the light bulbs from the hanging light piece, centered in the middle of the room.

"What are you doing now then?" Kess asked quietly, and leant her head back to see the alsatian standing there with glass in hand.

Blaise shrugged, and took a swig from the water he was holding. Gently leaning over Kess, he placed the empty glass on the coffee table that sat in the middle of the room. Kess held her breath as his bare chest came by her face, his scent catching her nostrils, and his fur so silky that she just wanted to stroke it. She had to hold back though, and she blushed when he came back up. His eyes darted to hers, and he smiled cockily, whilst placing a hand on his hips.

"What?" He asked curiously, unaware of her view that he had given her.

Kess smirked and said nothing, just gave him a light shove on his waist. He grinned, and gave her a soft nudge back on her shoulder. She fell backwards, even though his nudge was fairly soft, she still tilted back on the couch, her body collapsing on the soft cream pillows. Blaise triumphantly smiled, and put both hands on his hips in a proud manner. His tail wagged, and his ears perked up. Kess however, was laid there, with her hair covering most of her face, on which she wore a grin. How strange it was, at two thirty in the morning, she was laid with an alsatian who had knocked her over, and yet this was the happiest she had felt in a while.

Kess straightened up, and sat neatly, the blue cloth now on the floor, pooled next to her clothes. What happened next blew Kess's mind, and yet made her feel warm inside. Blaise, gently leaned over the couch again, and planted a feather soft kiss on her muzzle. Kess's eyes widened, but she noticed how Blaise had closed his, which must have meant he was relaxed. She lead by example, and closed her own eyes, accepting his kiss by leaning her head towards his. She felt so strange inside, however this felt so nice, that she didn't want to stop. Her first kiss, there and then.

It was Blaise that pulled back, and looked deep into Kess's eyes with an apologetic glare.

"Kess, Im, I, Im sorry" He stammered. He had betrayed her trust, she would think he had invited her to his for some action, and that was so not why he had done that. She would hate him now, and he dropped his tail with a saddened motion.

Kess blinked slowly, her muzzle still in a pout. Why had he stopped?

"Sorry for what?" She inquired, and looked at him.

"That, I never meant- uh, I mean, erm... Im sorry okay?" He stuttered, unable to find the right words. He scratched the back of his head, his muscles pulling taught through his lean fur.

"Its okay; I don't mind." She whispered calmly, with a genuine smile across her muzzle.

Blaise's face softened, and a small smile rested on his face. Relief didn't cover it. He felt so relaxed and easy now she had been okay with him, and his body softened.

"Right, Im going to bed - " Blaise whispered, and gave the wolf a soft kiss on the forehead. His gentle features putting a calm mood on Kess, he stroked her cheek with his thumb, caressing her soft cheek fur. She gave a gentle whine as he progressed to the stairs, leaving Kess on the couch. Blaise turned around, and stopped before the doorway.

"Kess?" He asked softly, and leant against the door frame, his tail swaying gently.

Kess sat there awkwardly, and placed her hands between her crossed legs, not knowing what to say. Her face said it all for Blaise, sad, alone, and empty. How could he leave her behind, whilst he slept with nothing on his mind? He sighed, and slowly walked back towards the couch, where Kess was sat in a stiff position. He gently lowered himself beside her, and wrapped an arm around the female, drawing her close for a warm embrace.

"C'mon, we need some sleep. Tomorrow, we can go out and take your mind off things, huh?" He whispered softly into her ear, holding her close in a gentle hug.

Kess smiled calmly, and yawned. She was so tired, and her body needed the rest it so lacked.

"Sounds good," She murred, and nestled her head into Blaise's furry chest, his silky pelt so soft against her skin. Satisfied, the couple drew into a deep sleep, surrounded by each other's arms.

The next morning, as the early light began filtering through the windows, and the dewy glow from the new day settled, a bird chirped outside the house. A small bluebird, sat perched on a fence, and began singing it's symphony to the whole neighborhood. The sunlight illuminated the whole Living room inside a warm orange, the early lights making everything glow in a surreal light.

Kess was the first to wake, and her eyes adjusted to the bright sunlight, having to squint to avoid being blinded. Her mind wandered back to the previous hours before her slumber. She remembered falling, and landing on the couch, and Blaise. As if in coincidence, she happened to look up, to find the alsatian still asleep with a serene expression on his face. She smiled, and then remembered the kiss he had given her. It was magical, but why did he give her it? He said he was sorry, but nothing added up.

Kess's fingers trailed from his waist, and up to his torso, fingering his soft chest fur. She tenderly ran her paw around his abs, and then let them sweep up to his neck fur, it's silky texture gliding between her digits. She was just getting lost in his features, when a gruff voice interrupted her.

"Stop staring at me Kess - Im not a morning person" Blaise muttered softly, with his eyes still closed. Kess jumped as his voice startled her, and she could only chuckle lightly to herself. Blaise had meanwhile, opened his vibrant green eyes, enough to see the wolf still leaning against him.

"Morning" Kess greeted sweetly, looking deep into his jaded eyes. He managed to look amazing, even in the morning. She however, had messy hair, her eyes were still a little puffy from last night's crying, and her fur was probably sticking out in all the wrong places. Great - she must have looked like a reject from the pound, and here she was wrapped in the arms of a handsome alsatian.

Blaise smiled softly, and yawned, his mouth stretched out whilst his fangs protruded. He had a heck of a set of teeth, so sharp and white.

Kess smirked, and attempting to be seductive, she stretched her arms out above her head, and twisted in a way that showed off every curve in her body. Her chest rose, purposely, and she expelled a soft groan of tiredness. Unfortunately for her, nothing was ever as simple as seducing a boy, and without even time to react, her top half had misjudged the space on the couch. She leant back, only to find nothing supporting her. Crashing down on the floor, her legs waving about, she gave a small yelp as she lay on the carpet just taking in what had happened.

Blaise appeared over the edge of the couch, his expression in a frown.

"Kess? Are you alright?" He asked quickly, and furrowed his brows with uncertainty.

Kess's features creased up in laughter, her face totally engulfed by the humor she and Blaise were sharing. The alsatian breathed a sigh of relief, before joining the wolf in a side splitting laugh. She calmed, and regained her dignity, sitting up straight before Blaise, her ears flopped slightly, lolling around on her head.

"Just my luck that" She muttered jokily, and smiled. Blaise had also straightened up, and left his ears perked around should Kess say anything else. However, she didn't, but both canines swiveled their heads in the direction of the stairs, to where a shuffling sound was being made. Sure enough, Lynne had appeared, her hair in curlers, and a red night gown wrapped around her frail body. A worried look stained her face, and she strained her eyes to look for what she come down to investigate.

"Dearies, I heard a loud bump. Are you both okay?" She stammered, and kept looking around her room for any signs of broken goods of a sort.

Kess put her arm in the air, and gently laughed her mistake off.

"Sorry Lynne, that was me. Guess Im not the best wolf in a morning when it comes to getting up" She said sweetly, and smiled at the old alsatian. Lynne sighed a breath of relief, and relaxed slightly. It was when she saw what Blaise was wearing whilst laying on the couch, that she did a double take.

"Blaise! Upstairs at once! Go and make yourself decent!" She shooed him, whilst Blaise could only stare in horror as his Grandma had seen him in only his boxers. He tried to be as discreet as possible, jumping up in his place and shuffling towards the stairs whilst Lynne continued to bat at him. He legged his way across the room, his hands covering his lower waist and his tail tucked firmly against his rear. He was muttering a few swears under his breath, and made it to the stairs, blushing a bright crimson.

As soon as he had disappeared up the stairs, Lynne turned to Kess, who was still sat on the carpet. The elderly canine's face softened into a light laugh, and she shuffled through to the kitchen, her slippers tapping on the tiles.

Kess could hear her boiling the kettle, and the usual clatter of pans and dishes. The wolf got up, and quickly got her jeans and stuffed them on, as if very aware of the idea she must have given to Lynne. She shyly made her way into the kitchen, to find the alsatian getting three mugs out of a cupboard, each one made of a fine white porcelain.

"Uh Lynne? About what just happened, me and Blaise didn't..." She stammered nervously, and twiddled her fingers around her pockets. Lynne didn't bother to turn around, but merely chuckled and continued with her morning ritual of making breakfast.

"My dear, Im not holding any judgment on you at all. Whatever happened, Im fine with it" Lynne tittered lightly, and got a toaster out of another cupboard, heaving it on to the kitchen unit beside a cooker.

"Honestly, we didn't do anything. He's just a friend from school, and I can't tell you how grateful I am that you let me stay here last night. Not many people I know would welcome a stranger to their house." Kess said, still sheepishly whilst edging near the kitchen table situated in the centre of the floor.

Lynne turned around, and smiled at the nervous Kess.

"If you're a friend of Blaise, then you are no stranger my dear. Listen to me, he's had a very hard time in his life. He covers most of it up very well, but some things just hurt him more than others. He looks at you fondly, my dear," Lynne said softly, and winked gently.

"Now how do you like your coffee?"

Kess smiled, now confident she had the elderly alsatian's blessing to be friends with Blaise. Relaxing, and edging furthur into the kitchen, she stood beside the table.

"Uhm, strong please" She answered, and watched as Lynne shuffled over to the mugs, and placed different amounts of coffee, sugar and milk into them.

Smiling brightly, she heard the footsteps of Blaise coming down the stairs, and turned her head towards the living room. There he strode, a white shirt over his torso with a sports logo strewn over the chest, and a pair of faded jeans with a brown leather belt holding them up. He had a silver chain hung loose around his neck, with a dog tag style pendent.

"You've smartened up then?" Lynne chuckled, and popped three slices of bread into the toaster, making the breakfast. She shot Kess a secretive wink, before turning her back to them and making the mugs of coffee complete with a pouring of hot water.

Blaise stood next to Kess, and rolled his eyes playfully. He had smelt the aroma of coffee and toast, and inhaled the scent deep into his lungs. His Grandma sure did know how to make a good breakfast, not to mention a tempting one. He had to restrain from going over and helping her hurry it along.

"Kess, get ready for the best cup of coffee you will ever have" Blaise chimed lightly, and gestured for her to sit at the table. Kess smiled gently, and took a seat beside Blaise at the table. Sitting on the chair, she rested her elbows on the table and clasped her hands whilst waiting for said cup of best coffee. Blaise sat in anticipation, his silky tail wagging in a vigorous manner.

Lynne finally brought two of the three mugs, steaming and spreading the warm scent of coffee into the kitchen. She set them down neatly before Blaise and Kess, and smiled proudly.

Blaise perked up, and took the mug between his paws and sipped the liquid inside. He sighed in satisfaction, and wagged his tail once again. Kess, lead by example and did the same. As soon as the coffee breached her mouth, she couldn't stop taking in the gorgeous tasting liquid.

"Lynne, you do make one heck of a cup of coffee" Kess complimented, and put the half empty mug back down on the table. Breakfast continued, and Lynne dished up some toast, and made some final adjustments to the kitchen untensils after being in use. Once the plates were clean, with only a few crumbs and slices of butter strewn across the surface, Lynne sighed and smiled contently.

"So, my dears, what are you doing today?" She asked curiously, sitting straight in her own chair.

Blaise also smartened up in his chair, whilst swallowing the remaining peice of toast in his mouth, and looked at Kess. The wolf raised her eyebrows, and hung her mouth open with no idea as to what she should say next.

"Well, we could go to the movies, theres a great film on at the local one" Blaise suggested, eyeing Kess. The female nodded in agreement, whilst scratching her cheek.

"I might need to go back and get changed through, I'll take a detour home before we go?" She said, and fingered her jean's pocket, in emphasis to her comment. She felt a little dirty, after all, she had been in these clothes for almost two days. She secretley wanted to look nice for Blaise anyway, and after what he was wearing, she thought it only fair.

Kess stood up, and smiled as she felt the warm sensation of her breakfast resting in her stomach.

"Thank you so much for breakfast Lynne, the best I've had in a while" She chimed softly, and pushed her chair into it's rightful place under the table. It made a small squeaking sound as it slid under the solid wood peice of furniture. Tapping her fingers lightly along the rim of the chair, she slid her hand along it as she made her way into the livig room. She grabbed her jumper from the floor, and placed her sneakers on each paw. Whilst she was clothing herself, she cast an eye back to the portrait of Blaise in the frame above the fireplace. She couldn't help but smile, and want to look at it in more detail, but she resumed her business. Once fully clothed, she walked back into the kitchen, and smiled at the two alsatians.

"Blaise, shall I meet you on that bench in say half an hour?" Kess suggested, and pulled her jumper cuffs against her wrists.

Blaise looked up, and nodded gently.

"Sure, I'll see you then" He replied, whilst taking the last sip of his coffee.

Kess mumbled another thanks to Lynne, and made her way through the kitchen door. Closing it gently behind herself, she continued along the dainty little porch she had walked on the previous night. It looked so different in the daylight, all the fine details came out. The creases in the wood, and the little nooks in the ground. The grass was much neater on the garden that at her house, and all the little flowers had spread wide in the morning sun.

Walking down the same street, she couldn't help but let her mind wander to what was lurking at her house. The thought of facing her parents and having to listen to their arguing almost made Kess turn around. No, she had to go and get changed, for she wouldn't be hanging around there for long.

Coming down the driveway to her house, she saw that her parent's car wasn't there. Usually it was always parked in the same spot, but it puzzled her to think that her parents weren't home. She furrowed her brows, and curiously glanced around the garden, checking for any signs of life. Onl the distant twittering of the birds could be heard, and the occasional roar of engines from passing vehicles.

She reached for the door, one paw grasping the handle and shoving with force. Locked.

"Great" Kess muttered, and rolled her eyes. The one time she absolutley needed something, and she couldn't get to it. Whilst deep in her annoyance, she remembered the spare key that her mother had placed under the doormat. At least something was looking up for her. She knelt down on her knees, and lifted the grimy mat up, the bristles tickling her paws. Sure enough, there was a silver key, nestled under a collection of mud and other assorted brown things.

Picking the key up, and rising to her feet, she wasted no time in undoing the lock, and letting herself in. The kitchen was empty, the shafts of sunlight beaming through the windows, illuminating the work tops and cupboards. Kess sighed, and put the key down on the table, it's metallic sound echoing through the halls. She looked around, and observed a peice of paper stuck with a magnet to the refridgerator.

'Kess,

I've gone to stay at aunt Carlie's, and your father will be staying with his cousin until we get things sorted out. I trust you on your own for a few days, and beside, maybe invite that friend over whose house you stayed at. The numbers are in the address book if you need anything.

Love

Mom

Kess eyed the paper with sadness. It was really happening. No nonsense, her parents were splitting up.

Sighing heavily, she took herself through the hall and up the stairs to her bedroom. It was average size, maybe a little small, but she had enough room. There was a guitar laid on the floor, with a few music sheets strewn around it. Her bed was a single, and there were two large pillows at the head, all matched with the bed covers. Her room wasn't messy, but it wasn't exactley organized. But, she liked it that way, and she had never been one to perfect everything anyway.

She took her clothes off, and gradually became stark naked. Her clothes in a huge bundle at her feet, she kicked them out of her way as she made her tracks into her en-suite bathroom. The wolf opened the blue tiled shower door, and stepped inside the rather spacious area for washing and showering. With a fumble of the knob, she managed to turn on the waterfall from the showerhead.

She soaked the water up, it seeping deep into her fur and rinsing through the hairs. It was nice and warm, and she let the bathroom steam up with the heat. Her mind was tangled, though, as she thought to how different life would be after the divorce. No more family holidays, Christmas and Birthdays. It just didn't seem fair to her, and she hated the fact she could nothing about it.

After washing herself clean, she turned the flow of water off, and stepped out of the steamy cabin. Inhaling deeply, she made her way into her bedroom, shutting the blinds for a little privacy. Glancing at the clock, she made a hissing noise and quickly assembled her new clothes for being worn. A small, pink top with a white heart across the chest, and a pair of denim jeans that had a faded effect of the rear and lower waist. Finally, grabbing her shoes, and a wad of cash, she flew down the stairs. Remembering to lock up, she contently strolled back down the street again, a little flustered, but cool.

After a short distance, she came to the bench where they had arranged to meet prior to the cinema. She looked around, and still no Blaise. A few other furs were fanning around, some with younger pups that squealed and giggled. Kess sat down on the bench, fidgety and nervous. She twiddled her thumbs with impatience, and started to wonder of he would actually turn up. He had to, it was just her mind being paranoid, but the musing was always there. He was just toying with her, making her feel like she actually had a friend. A few minutes past, and their meeting time had been and gone. The wolf's ears dropped, as the reality that she would have to go home crestfallen kicked in.

Sighing, she heaved herself up from the wooden bench, and began to slowly walk back to her house.

"Kess!" Shouted a familiar voice from down the street. It was Blaise, and he was running towards her, his body pumping faster as he noticed her walking away. His foot steps eventually dulled, and he reached her in a few short strides.

"Hey, where were you going?" He asked, a little breathless.

Kess shrugged, and smiled nervously. It would have been awkward had she not made up some excuse.

"Nowhere, honestly. Uhm, so, shall we go?" She flustered, and gave a weak smile. It was good enough for Blaise, so he responded with a gentle smile, and they began to walk to the cinema. Luckily for them, it wasn't too far away. This cinema had been there for years, after the council decided that their small town needed something along the entertainment line. Rumors went about it was going to be a casino, but that would have brought too much unwanted attention.

The canines arrived at the movies, a few minutes later, and they were buying their tickets for a fast, action packed blockbuster that recently came out. Blaise seemed very interested to see it, whilst Kess had her mind on the matters at home to care. It wasn't that she didn't like being out with Blaise, it was actually the most exciting thing she had ever done with another fur, and yet it was being ruined by the horrible mess at home.

"Here, I'll buy your ticket" Blaise insisted at the ticket booth, whilst a middle aged feline waited with two tickets in her paws. Kess was snapped out of her trance like state, and began to babble about how she would get her own. Blaise had none of it, and handed double the amount of money over, exchanging it for the tickets.

"Thanks, Blaise, but Im buying us both popcorn" Kess giggled, and gave him a small push on the shoulders. Blaise smiled, and looked at her.

"Deal" He muttered, and he lead her to the food stalls. Masses of popcorn and sweets were loaded onto small trays and tables, just waiting to be bought and eaten. They all looked delicious, but Kess firmly bought only two medium sized popcorn bags for her and Blaise. The alsatian took his share, and they proceeded to the screening area.

After finding a well picked seat, both canines sat down and got comfortable. The lights were still on, and they watched as many more furs started to pour into the room, all picking seats scattered around.

"So, what's gonna happen when the scary bits come on?" Blaise said coyly, and sunk into his seat. He placed one leg angled at his knee, sitting comfortably.

Kess smiled, with a hint of sophistication,

"I'll have you know I don't scare easy" She said, with a huge smile on her lips. Lie. She always got herself in such a state after watching any scary parts of a movie she couldn't sleep, only lie awake and replay the bit over and over again in her mind.

Blaise nodded, and tilted his head at an angle so he could just see Kess's face.

"Okay, well, if by any chance you feel the need to scream, I'm letting you know I will have to cover your mouth - by any means neccessary." He said, and looked forwards.

Kess's smile disappeared, and her face contorted with confusion. What did he mean, by any means necccessary?

"Hold on a minute, what?" She asked, looking at Blaise with curious eyes. However, the lights began to fade, and the audience quietened as the movie started. She let the matter go, and sat back whilst enjoying the beginning to the film. She could hear Blaise's breathing, and him occasionally shifting his position. Kess was never the one to remain still for long amounts of time, and she would every now and again swipe her hair back over her shoulder. She did this countless times during the movie, but after about ten minutes, she felt something different on her shoulder. It was an arm, a silky furred arm. Niavely, she wondered whose arm it was, until she traced the limb back to Blaise's body. He hadn't moved his position at all, he was sat contently, just watching the film with intent ears.

Kess pondered over the move. Had he meant to do that? She wasn't annoyed, in fact she found it incredibly sweet, but these things just didn't happen to furs like her. She was the type of girl that no boy wanted to be around, she was the outcast.

Letting him keep his arm there, she sat for a further hour into the movie. She was actually enjoying it, as much as she doubted she would. It was about a rogue cop, who took revenge on a fellow officer after they slept and murdered his wife. She knew a scary part had to come about eventually, and she was right. A cold night, where the rogue had crept into the other officer's house with a knife, fixed on finishing the deadly deed. Kess's body tensed, her eyes wide as she knew what would happen. She squeezed one of Blaise's paws tight, and held on for dear life as if it was her own life she feared for.

A loud bang happened on the screen, and the door to the officer's house had fallen. The rogue stood with his knife, and crept up on his sleeping victim. It was coming, the thrill of watching these horror movies, the adrenaline rush we all hate to love.

Kess quietly jumped and screamed lightly in her seat, as the knife forced it's way through the officer's torso. The music matching Kess's jumpy heart.

Blaise saw the oppertunity, and swiftly leant round whilst planting another kiss on Kess lips, her scream instantly sealed off. Her mouth loosened, and she no longer felt the need to expell a cry of fear, only to reciprocate the action. Blaise's lips had been softly rubbing against hers, and she opened her own mouth for better access. She had never done this before, so she rested it all down to common sense and luck. Thankfully, Blaise seemed like he knew what to do, and gently slided his tongue from his muzzle to hers. In response, she let her own tongue softly dance with his. She opened her eyes slightly, a quick flush of wonder at the foreign object in her mouth. After the first shock, she closed them again, enjoying the actions she shared with the alsatian.

It was Kess to break the kiss, her need for air greater than her need to hold her breath. She brought her head back, confused and yet curious. She could just make out Blaise's head, close to hers.

"Told you 'by any means neccessary'" Blaise chuckled softly, if not breathlessly, and kissed her nose. Kess could only roll her eyes as she finally understood the reason behind the bizarre comment. She leant back again, and averted her eyes to the screen again. It had shifted to daylight now, and the movie looked as though it was coming to an end. Sure enough, with a few last words from the narrator, the credits began to roll up the screen, the movie finished. The lights drew in, and the audience started to file out of the room. Blaise and Kess however, sat there, until they were the last ones out, just staring at each other with contemplative eyes.

Once they saw the cleaners coming in, they gathered their belongings, and made their way through the cinema and back onto the street. The afternoon sun once again beginning to settle in the sky, the air had become warm and pleasant. Strangely, she hoped that Blaise would ask her back to his house again - there sure as hell wouldn't be anyone at home anyway. Lonely sprang to mind when she thought of her house.

"So, where to next?" Kess asked, slightly hopeful in her tone. She gave a quick smile to Blaise, and perked her ears forwards.

"Dunno, I'll be alone for the next couple of hours if you go home. My Grandma said she was going to some Bingo game with her friends from the local market." He replied, and put one hand in his jean's pocket. He started to slowly walk, down the street, his feet scuffing the path way.

"Huh, likewise - except no-one I know is going to Bingo" She chuckled lightly, and followed the alsatian with curiosity. She heard him expell a small laugh, and watched as he turned around to face her.

"Uh, Blaise?" Kess asked, her voice quiet and apprehensive. Blaise stopped and looked her.

"Hmm?" He said in response, knowing what she was going to ask him.

"That kiss...?" She trailed, unsure whether she should have brought it up. Blaise smiled, and cocked his head softly, gazing at her with calm and expressive eyes.

"I like you Kess. Alot" He said plainly, and blushed violently under his golden pelt. It was out in the open now, and she could take it two ways - acceptance or rejection. He waited nervously for her reaction.

In a sense, Kess had been stunned by the alsatian's words. Those five words had hit her harder than the D word her parents had said. Blaise liked her; well that would explain the kisses. She knew that those kind of kisses were not casual things handed out every day.

"You do?" She asked softly, and fidgeted in her spot. Dammit, why was she always so nervous?

"Yeah. I know it's not been long, but I really like you. You're something different to all the other girls. I really enjoyed last night, just sitting with you and talking. I would have asked you up to my room, but I didn't want to seem forward or too keen. I hated leaving you the first time last night, yet I was so pleased I could be with you the second time." He flustered, his face growing redder and redder by the minute.

Kess couldn't help but smile as he spilled his feelings out to her, and for the first time in a long time, she was happy.

"I like you too" She mumbled gingerley, and put both hands inside her pockets, awkwardly standing before the handsome alsatian. Blaise's eyes widened with shock, and a joyous gleam he had taken on. He stepped forwards, and brought Kess into a fierce embrace, as if all those years of sadness were transforming into a powerful force of happiness. Kess leant into him, gently wrapping her arms around his fluffy neck, inhaling his gorgeous scent. It was happening, that sickly, yet awkwardly nice feeling in your stomach, when you know something was going to happen, only you didn't know what.

"Are, we uhm, going back to yours?" Kess asked, slightly nervous. She and Blaise had parted, and were now stood in the street, just looking into each others eyes.

"Do you want to?" Blaise questioned sheepishly, and gave a weak smile of uncertainty. He had a strange electric feeling bubbling up inside him, and he didn't know what it was or how he got it. It was pleasant though.

Kess smiled, and with a decision that would alter her life, she nodded. Blaise took her by the hand, and they walked back to the street they had gone down the previous night. Their paws entwined, Kess couldn't help but feel a little strange, here she was in public, with the most gorgeous alsatian, holding her paw. It didn't make sense, he could have any girl he wanted, and yet here she was. Their foot steps kept in time, and their pace was slow and easy, as if not wanting anything to go too fast. For Kess, it had been one of the best days of her life.

They arrived back at Blaise's house after a fifteen minute walk down the neigboorhood, it's quaint atmosphere relaxing and calm in the late afternoon sun. The sun was just beginning to die again, and the sky had lit up a magnificent orange, with wispy clouds of pink and yellow. A beautiful end to a beautiful day.

Blaise led Kess up to the door, and pulled a small gold key from his jean's pocket, and with a quick flick of his wrist, he had unlocked the door. The creak of the door hinge was the only thing that could be heard, save the purring from a nearby car. The house was just as Kess had remembered, calm, quiet and above all, homely. She wasted no time in removing her shoes as a respectful manner taught to her by her mother.

Blaise had put the key down on the table, and removed his sneakeres next to Kess.

"Does your Grandma play Bingo often then?" Kess asked, in between taking her shoes off.

Blaise chuckled, and kicked his own shoes off with a quick snap of his heels.

"Always, she tries to drag me along sometimes, but my idea of a Saturday night does not involve sitting around waiting for a few numbers to be called out" He chimed, with a joking voice on. He had straightened up, and was waiting for Kess.

"And what is your idea of fun on a saturday night?" She asked sweetly, tipping her head to one side, with one eyebrow raised inquisitively. Her saturday usually consisted of being in her room watching television, or playing her guitar till she felt tired. This saturday however, she didn't know what would happen.

Blaise smiled, and chewed on the inside of his mouth in deliberation.

"Hmm, I dunno - I usually just tend to watch TV or read something" He muttered, and waited for Kess to finish with her shoes. Shortly after, she had removed her sneakers and was walking beside Blaise in a casual pace towards the living room. She nodded, and pouted with a contemplative gesture as she slid her hands into her pockets.

Blaise had been looking at her the whole time, studying her body language and her emotions. So soft, and relaxed with a small hint of fire inside.

"I'll be heading on up to my room to watch TV, anyway. You fancy coming?" He asked nervously, afraid should she get the wrong idea. Luckily, she thought nothing of it, and agreed to go up with him. They both smiled, and proceeded to the stairway. A new scent hit Kess's nostrils, a warm, yet fragrant smell, one much like Blaise's cologne. It seemed to be coming from his bedroom, which was up the stairs and the first left. Before entering his room, Kess noticed how his Grandma's room was on the first right, and a bathroom was furthur down the hallway on the second floor.

She turned into Blaise's room, and from what she figured, would be the typical for a seventeen year old boy. He had a fairly large room, with a dark blue paint covering the walls, with a few thin lines of white for decoration. His bed was made, in a fashion, in all it's double sized glory. He had a laminate wood floor, with a small blue and white rug at the bottom of his bed. There were the odd sock, or pen lying around the floor, and his closet was neatly tucked away in a corner of the room. He also had a small chest of drawers, with a fairly big TV resting on it. Kess grinned as Blaise fussed about the tidyness of his room, and watched as he shyly assembled the random things away in storage.

"Blaise, theres no need to fuss - it's tidier than my room" She chuckled lightly, and looked around again, absorbed in her new surroundings.

Blaise smiled, whilst rolling his eyes in a playful manner, and stopped his scrambling upon hearing her comforting words. He averted his eyes to the TV, and turned the power button on. After flashing the green, the button dulled and was replaced by the TV flicking onto a music channel.

"You can sit down if you want" Blaise said softly, glancing back whilst browsing the channels. Taking the oppertunity, Kess gingerley flopped onto the bed in a soft bounce, her legs just touching the ground. Blaise found a channel where a programme about a celebrity was on, and turned the volume low. The TV was just for playing in the background, as Blaise wanted to talk.

He walked over to the bed, the glow from the TV being reflected on the wall and bed where Kess was sat. Collapsing onto the bed beside the wolf, he leaned back, his arm supporting his frame and his body turned sideways.

"So, Kess - why do you let Lacie and her gang muck you about? I mean, they're so annoying to be around, why not just tell them where to get off?" He asked curiously, and tipped his head in waiting for an answer.

Kess pondered, and thought to herself that exact question. Why did she take the shit off these girls? What had she to lose if she stood up for herself? Turning to Blaise, she also leaned back, and turned her head to look at him.

"I dunno - I never really thought about till now. I guess it's because I know that they are better and more attractive than me" She said sheepishly, and hung her head low, her eyes dropped with remorse. Blaise had noticed, and frowned. 'Better and More Attractive?' He didn't think so. Kess had more personality and magic in her little finger than Lacie Chambers had in her entire body.

"Hey, I disagree" He said softly, and tipped her chin up with one of his paw digits. She smiled weakly, and turned her head away from him, as if shy and vulnerable. He gently stroked her soft, curly hair, and sat up straight. Coming, and leaning over her with a genuine smile across his face, he brought his head close to hers, if not a little shyly, should she reject him.

Kess's mind was whirring, everything was going so fast, Blaise was leaning over her, and she was just lying there, their faces barely apart.

"Blaise, I,I don't know..." She whispered, her breath becoming short. There was no denying she was ready for what she knew was going to happen, but she felt strange and older, as if she was leaving her old, shy self behind and becoming a new, confident young woman.

He held back, and started to bring his head back, in a crestfallen manner. He felt so stupid, and dumb for thinking Kess would ever want to be more than a friend. Midway through rising, he felt a paw on his shoulder, and found Kess now staring up at him through warm hazel eyes. Blaise raised an eyebrow, and was about speak, when Kess's paw digit pressed against his lips.

"Listen, we may not have known each other long, but I feel a weird vibe from you, and I like it. You are the only thing in my life worth hanging on to at the minute" She whispered, and blinked slowly, as if not wanting to miss any action that the alsatian should do.

Blaise's face softened, and his body had found it's way above her again. How many times had he looked into her eyes and saw the quiet, elusive wolf that dare not show her true colours? She had gone, and this beautiful new Kess was there, and he was honoured she spoke of him so fondly.

He leaned his head nearer hers, bringing her into a tender kiss, their tongues wasting no time in starting their dance. Kess didn't class herself as an expert, as this was the second time she had ever kissed anyone so passionately. She wanted to be able to melt in Blaise's arms, and just to be as close as was possible. Blaise had the same idea, and gentle stroked with his free paw along her cheek, her velvety fur make him tingle inside.

With a sort of silent signal, Kess had slowly begun to remove her jeans, awkwardly shrugging them off. It wasn't as easy as she thought, and she found herself giggling with naivety at the thought of her planning this to go smoothly. Blaise stopped his match of tonsil tennis, and broke the kiss, his muzzle still in a pout. Kess had been laughing, he could hear her for one, as well as her body shaking with the giggles that ran through her.

"What?" He asked softly, and looked down at her as he leaned back up, trying to see what was so funny.

"My jeans - they wont come off" She mumbled between the giggles. Blaise's face softened into a gentle laugh, and he repositioned himself so he was beside Kess on the bed. With a quick tug from his paws to her jeans, they had slid down her legs and off onto the floor. He wasted no time in climbing back up her, and began to kiss her neck, trailing from her collar bone all the way to her cheek.

"Bit easier now huh?" He muttered softly, blowing hot air onto her neck. She shivered, and could only let a small whine in responce emit from her mouth. Blaise hadn't forgotten about his own jeans, and was quietly undoing his belt whilst keeping Kess busy with his tender kisses. He anticipated it would be difficult, but surprisingly, he managed to unbuckle his belt with no problems. His jeans came next, and his golden paws also managed to get them off without a hitch.

He broke his chain of kisses, and quickly shrugged his shirt off, leaving Kess open to take her own pink garment off quietly. She felt very self conscious all of a sudden, and sunk back into the bed with a hint of shyness. Blaise didn't seem to pick up on it, and covered her again, whilst letting his lips find hers this time. They let their tongues slide against each other once more, before they realized that they were almost ready to start the final stage of intimacy.

Kess had seen Blaise's body yesterday, so his figure came as no shock, although she couldn't stop letting her eyes trail down to gaze at his masculine form. He was everything she had ever seen in magazines, and more. He was real, not a model on a peice of paper that she could only dream of. He was there, and now, she was only thinking of him.

Blaise however, hadn't seen Kess's unclothed body. He scanned his green eyes around her, and soaked in every detail. The way her waist line curved in and out with her bone structure, and her finely shaped legs and hips. Her fur blended into a small dark patch just below her navel, and disappeared into her frilly underwear. She had nothing to be embarrassed about, in fact, he almost felt self conscious in front of her. They both liked what they saw, and they knew what had to happen next.

Blaise had only one more thing to reveal to her, but Kess had two. She took a deep breath, and swiftly unclasped her bra, with a proffesional flick of the wrist and the garment was off and at the side of the bed.

Blaise came back up from nuzzling her neck, to realize she had taken it off. He brought his head up, and peered over the side of the bed, his eyes averting to her light blue bra nestled between their clothes.

"How do you girls do that so fast?" He asked in a jokey manner, and gave a small chuckle whilst leaning over Kess's body. The wolf furrowed her brows in confusion, and watched as he was reaching into the bedside table's drawer. Then, she realized as he brought back a small package wrapped in silver.

Blaise shot Kess a calm stare, and the alsatian smoothly sat up before the wolf laying next to him. With a brave sigh, he pulled his black boxers down and around his ankles, where they soon trailed down to the floor. Kess's eyes widened as she immediatley saw his lower regions being brought into full power, the first she had seen that wasn't in an educational book from school. There was no point in acting embarrassed now, and Blaise had already ripped the seal on the small packet off. Her breathing quickened, and she averted her eyes to give Blaise a little space.

Blaise looked down at his member with hint of pride - thank god she hadn't made a fuss or said something. With a quick swipe of his paw, he had coated his extended sheath with a thin layer of protection. With that taken care of, he leaned back over on top of Kess, who, by now, had removed her underwear. She hoped he wouldn't look down there, but he did. He flicked his jaded eyes there, and back to Kess's blushing face. He let his body rest on hers, and with the deal, she wrapped her arms around his neck, his golden neck fur cushioning her wrists.

"You're sure of yourself" She said calmly, with a coy smirk on her face. Blaise snickered, and kissed her softly on the forehead.

"They've been there ages. I thought they would be there alot longer too. I haven't had to use them since tonight anyway" He said, whilst nuzzling her forehead and nose. Kess shot her hazel eyes open, and glued them to Blaise's.

"Your a ...?" She trailed, and tipped her head slightly.

Blaise nodded, and swallowed nervously.

Kess laughed sheepishly, they were more alike than they thought.

"Same here" She finished calmly, and became very tense, her legs suddenly clamping shut. Blaise picked up on this, and brought his head up whilst being supported by his strong arms. Looking deep into Kess's eyes, he smiled with a reassuring glimmer of safety for the wolf.

"Listen, things like this don't happen for no reason. To me, or to you, so, if you say stop, I'll stop." He whispered, bringing his lower half closer to hers. She shuddered as she felt his sheath press against her, yet she locked her eyes onto his. With a soft glide of his paw, he reached down past their stomachs and past their hips, trailing all the way down to Kess's crotch. Softly swiping against her feminine part, the alsatian gently stroked her. The wolf made a whispered moan, experiencing a whole new feeling than ever before.

"I promise" He finished, and stopped moving his hips forwards, waiting for her permission. Kess was hot, very hot and she could feel a fiery churning in her stomach and loins. She trusted Blaise moreso than anyone else in that moment, and she knew that he would do as told. Gulping, and breathing softly, she nodded. Opening her legs, and shifting her silky tail to the side, she gave Blaise an entrance. He felt as her legs gave way, and readjusted himself as not to put too much pressure on her body.

"Just, start off slow okay?" She mumbled, and closed her eyes, whilst the alsatian gently nodded with a serene smile upon his face. Blaise took a deep breath, and urged his hips forwards, furthur and furthur until he met an end. Kess had meanwhile expelled a soft gasp, and clutched to his neck as if it was a life support. It was hurting, and she was in half a mind to tell him to stop. No, she had to give it a little longer - if sex hurt then why would so many people enjoy it? Squeezing her eyes tight, she let a deep breath of air pass as Blaise thrust quickly into her.

Whimpering, she knew that her innocence and virginity had been taken - but Blaise had took it, so she felt at ease. Blaise had felt her pressure around his neck, and made soft shushing noises to comfort her in the painful side of her first time. His older friends had often spoke of having sex, and how the girl would cry out in pain, leaving the males annoyed and so not understanding. Blaise had other ideas though, and knew the girls had harder times than the boys. He felt more caring.

Blaise's extended sheath had now entered Kess, and the alsatian knew the hard part was over. With a soft first few grinds of his hips, he slowly brought Kess past the pain and into the more enjoyable side. The wolf's breathing had quickened, and had become very ragged and short, as she felt Blaise's waist drive into her. He was bowing his head, biting his lower lip as he had the new sensation rocketing through his body. It was like nothing he had ever felt before, and he wondered whether Kess was enjoying it as much as he. He rolled his hips in and out, his taught muscles tensing and relaxing with each thrust. With a soft turn of his head, he managed to look down at Kess through their movements.

She had tipped her head back, her face writhing with strain and pleasure, her chest rising and falling as softly as Blaise's thrusts. Every so often, she would expell gentle moans, followed by her breathing fast and short. Her body was being hit by a new force, one which she never thought possible. Blaise was there, staring from above, his eyes peircing hers. He gave a loud groan as he held back the urge to go faster, his mind telling his body that Kess decided where they went next. She seemed to have the same idea, and with a signal in the form of a heavy moan, Blaise tensed his lower waist.

Quickening his pace, he began to roll his hips as fast as he could, his masculinity driving in and out of the moaning wolf. Her breath became sharp, whilst her chest was rapidly rising and falling, her bare cleaveage rolling around gently. Blaise's hips were thrusting quickly, and everytime he pulled out, he ached to be back inside. His own breathing had turned to a panting moan, and his head had lowered so it was beside Kess's, able to hear everyone of her pants ands groans of pleasure. This only spurred Blaise on, to hear the moans of his lover, and know he was making her express sounds like that.

Kess's back arched, and feeling the urge to pull him as close as possible, wrapped her legs around his waist. Then, bringing them down, she brought the moaning alsatian with her, his waist having no objections to be moved closer still. A strange but pleasant force seemed to be building up inside her, and she incoherently moaned as she felt an immense wave wash over her body. Her loudest moan came, and she tipped her head back as far as it would go, her back arching so her body was rubbing against the thrusting alsatian. To feel his skin and fur against hers only heightened the pleasure she was being drowned in. Her hips bucking wildly, she could feel her inside muscles clamping down, as if wanting to hold Blaise there.

Blaise heard her cry of the climax, and groaned as he gave another three hard thrusts, before feeling the undescribable pleasure flow through him. Her muscles tight around his member, it just drove him over the edge. Releasing his first load into the protection, he also let forth a heavy moan as he rode the new sensation out. He had felt his base swell, but thought wise not to force it through on both their first times.

Kess's body flopped to the bed, her loins still buzzing from the sensation. Blaise had also softened, and halted his hips to stop rolling. Both the canines were unbeleivably tired, and they meanwhile had released a lot of perspiration. Kess's hair was lightly soaked with the sweats of their lovemaking, and her fur around her crotch was slightly matted. Blaise's forehead was drenched with sweat, small beads of perspiration trailing down his nose and through his cheek fur. Whilst Kess was recovering from her first climax, Blaise hadn't worried about the protection. He felt it best to leave it, until his extended sheath began to creep back. He let his damp body press lightly against hers, her chest supporting his chiseled head.

Her breathing slowed somewhat, and Blaise's body quivered from the aftermath of their act.

"Are you okay?" Blaise whispered, his head still pressed on her cleavage. Kess propped herself up on her arms, letting Blaise's skull slide from her chest and rise into the air facing her. She nodded gently, and gave one last sigh of pleasure to the alsatian. Their sweat ridden bodies gently expelled soft breathing sounds, each of their stomachs rising and falling. Kess smirked, and averted her eyes to Blaise's manhood as it was still connected to her.

Gently reaching down, her paw softly stoked the length between her and Blaise. The alsatian groaned, and tilted his head back.

"Kess, don't, I think I've had more than enough for excitement for one day" He moaned, but still felt her soft paws gently stroke his member, tickling it somewhat. It was amazing, and what was more pleasurable was that it was Kess that was doing it to him. He lolled his head back, and soaked up each and every delicate touch that she bestowed on him. The alsatian began to pant heavily again, absorbed in the undescribable feeling she was giving him. Her face had turned into a coy smile, the wolf side of her taking over. She watched as his abs began to convulse as his breathing became very ragged and short. Down in her crotch, she felt the alsatian's member throbbing again, his body getting worked up for another round. Kess couldn't possibly do what she had just done, as she was worn out.

She slid her hands from his extended sheath, trailing them ever so lightly around the full circumference. She then bravely brought her other paw, and put one hand on either side of his member. It was strangely hot, and she was surprised at how different she imagined it to be. It was something she also never imagined she'de ever do, stroking such a thing. Her eyes darted back up to the alsatian, who was now breathing hard and fast, his usually gentle face twisted with strain and pleasure. Intending to finish what she started, she slowly and sensually rubbed all the way from her crotch, along the connection between them, and up to Blaise's groin. Then, back down his member, earning multiple moans and whimpers from the convulsing alsatian.

Blaise's extended sheath repeated what had happened only ten minutes ago, letting forth another load of him wash out and into the thin protection. His loud moans brought a satisfied smile to the wolf's blushing face. Never did she expect to make a boy make any sounds like that, but she felt strangely pleased. Though she was thoroughly tired, Blaise had worked up another sweat from his recent high. Kess could still feel his throbbing member inside her, although it was beginning to fade, and slowly but surely retreating. She flopped back down on the bed, her face flushed and her hair slightly frizzy from her recent activity. Blaise had come back down the earth, and carefully took the protection off his member, safely as sure not to spill anything. Tying the thin material in a knot, he discarded it in the bin near his bed. He crawled up beside Kess, and laid next to her, watching her breathing. So delicate and fragile, her whole body seemed relaxed and calm. Propping his chest underneath her head, she gladly accepted him and nestled her face into his warm chest fur. He was slightly damp, but so was she, both canines basking in the glow after their most intimate act.

The night air had kicked in, and the outside neighborhood was dark and eery. The light was flickering from the TV, and the two canine's shadows were printed against the wall behind them. They had been at it for longer than they thought, and Kess couldn't help but ponder what time it was.

"Blaise, what time is it?" She asked softly, fingering his damp torso with her delicate fingers. She could feel every heart beat, and every breath he took, his chest softly lifted, bringing her nestled head with it. Blaise kissed her head, and flicked his eyes to the bed side alarm clock he had. 21:30, it read.

"Half nine" He replied, and gently pulled the bed covers up over them. His warm sheets surrounded them, and they were so cosy in the nest like position the covers were wrapped in. Blaise pulled his arms around Kess, hugging her torso fiercly should she want to get up and go. Yeah, like she would have anyway. Her breasts were getting almost crushed as the alsatian wrapped himself around her, and the wolf let out a soft whine.

"Your, uhm, crushing the twins Blaise" She giggled, and fidgeted whilst readjusting her body. Blaise widened his eyes, and realized he had indeed being squashing them. He instantly loosened up, and gently curled his body around hers. Kess had found bliss, her mind and body were so relaxed from what hadjust being happening, and Blaise obviously was as chilled out as her. Their bodies lay like that, naked as the day they were born, just bathing in the sensual calmness that floated around them.

After about an hour, a shuffling sound came from downstairs. Kess's ears were the first to pick up the sound, which amazed her as she was such a heavy sleeper. Oh god, they had fallen asleep! Anyone could have walked in on them. Kess quickly shot up, her bare upper chest wobbling with the motion. Hearing the shuffling ascending through the stairway, Kess's hazel eyes widened.

"Shit - Blaise, BLAISE!" She whined desperatley, nudging the alsatian's snoozing form. His head was on her waist, god knows how he got it there. One of his legs was stuck out of the sheets, and his whole lower waist was exposed. Kess smirked at how funny he looked, and yet she was nervously crawling under the covers, her body trying to conceal itself. Blaise had meanwhile woken, and was incoherently mumbling in his waking moments. When he heard the shuffling reach just before his bedroom door, he quickly moved under the covers, hiding his waist and the wolf underneath.

"Blaise? Are you in there?" A familiar voice called, slightly worried in tone. Lynne's face peered round the door, to see Blaise looking rather flustered and nervous looking back at her. His covers and bed were a mess, and there seemed to be an abnormal lump next to him.

"Hi, uh, Grandma" He choked, and pressed the remote's power button for the TV. The whole room fell dark, and Lynne instinctively turned the light switch on. Her brows furrowed in confusion as to Blaise's state.

"Whats going on, my dear?" She asked worriedly, and scanned the room in search of anything out of place. Blaise stammered, unable to get any words out of his muzzle. How was he going to tell his grandma that Kess was naked under his covers, next to his also very naked waist? Not the easiest confession. His face burned a bright red, and he dropped his ears in embarrassment.

"Uh, I, Uhmm" He stuttured, scratching his head in a worried manner. Then, Kess let herself be known, and popped her head out of the sea of navy blue bed sheets. Her hair was sticking up, and her face was a little red, but she had saved Blaise from an embarrassing explanation.

"Hey Lynne" She muttered sheepishly, and glanced at Blaise through apprehensive eyes. Lynne's eyes widened, and she herself turned a bright beet red.

"Oh, excuse me dearies!" She flustered, and quickly turned the lights down before she shuffled out from behind the door. Sure, she knew her little Blaise was no longer a pup, and that he was a dashing seventeen year old; but she was to find out about his sex life like this? All she could do, to save herself from having a nervous breakdown, was chuckle to herself. Minding her own business, she briskly set foot down the stairs, a small bounce in her old feet.

Blaise gave a heavy sigh of releif, and flopped back down on the bed, springing lightly on the matress. Kess could only let a giant smile cross her face. It was unbeleivably embarrassing, and yet her natural instinct was to laugh it off. Collapsing in a heap of giggles on top of Blaise, she rested her arms and torso on his abdomen.

"Oh Blaise, we have the worst luck don't we?" She chimed, whilst seeing off the last of her chuckles.

Blaise smiled gently, and stroked her hair softly, his paw pads feeling every strand of her silky locks.

"She'll be fine; Im just worried how she'll look at me different" He said nervously, and propped his body up with his arms.

"She won't look at you any different, don't worry about it. Anyway, I bet she was just as embarrassed, if not more." She said calmly, reassuring the beautiful alsatian at her torso. Blaise chuckled softly, scratching his waist with his slender paws.

"True, " He started, but was cut off by a yawn, a jaw stretching extravagnza. He was more worn out than he thought, and rubbed his eyes in emphasis at his state of energy. Kess got the message, and smartly pulled the disturbed covers up, and over their bodies once more. The light was dim, and the bedroom a cosy, warm temperature.

"Hey, would you have found it weird if I had shouted out 'BINGO!' when I came?" Blaise asked, a coy smile staining his lips. Kess grinned, and gave him a light shove on the shoulder.

"Yes! Now come on, you've worn me out, and Im shattered" She laughed gently, and nestled her body against Blaise's under the covers. His warm fur like it's own blanket, she felt thoroughly comfortable. Blaise smiled proudly, aware he had not only tired Kess out, but he had put his body to the limits also today. Now, he could simply lay and touch her gently. He placed one paw on her thigh, and one underneath her dozing frame, feeling her breathing and skin rubbing against his. Resting his head upon her shoulder, he gradually doze into a deep, and blissful slumber.

The next morning, Kess's eyes opened gently, her pupils dilating and adjusting to the new light of morning. It burnt her eyes, and she squinted as she scanned the room. The curtains were open, and Blaise's room was the way it was last night. Not a total mess, but typical for a boy, she guessed. His bed had been assaulted last night, and she could tell. The covers were only just concealing her naked body, and the under sheets were slightly damp. She blushed as she found a sticky, dried out white spot, which registered in her mind. It triggered her memory to last night, and she shivered as she recalled Blaise's body pumelling her own. Her groin was a little sore, and it stung slightly. But hey, that was a night to remember between her and Blaise. He made her feel so special, and wanted. She guessed that was why so many people enjoyed sex, that addictive high and the wonderful feeling afterwards.

Rubbing her forehead with a tired yawn, she heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Half expecting it to be Lynne, she quickly wrapped the bedclothes around her naked form, blushing furiously. The footsteps neared the door, and Blaise popped his head around the door. He smiled broadly as he found Kess in a nest of his bed covers, and she looked so cute with her blushing face.

"Morning beautiful" He said gently, and perked his floppy ears erect. He slowly walked towards the bed, whilst Kess loosened her frame, sighing softly.

He sat himself down on the bed, his body making an indentation in the sheets and matress.

"I have some good news - apparently, our school's water supply has overflowed, which, resulted in the whole bottom floor flooding and ruining everything in the classrooms. So that means, we have a week or so off school" He said in a matter-of-fact tone, with a huge smile on his face. Kess had meanwhile let a grin rest on her face, and inside she felt releived. No Lacie Chambers or her band of cronies, no long division or homework, just her, Blaise and the rest of the week. Perfect.

"Thats great I guess - how do you know that?" She said giddily, and tipped her head in confusion. It must have only been early, and yet Blaise had got this information so soon.

"My friend from school sent me a text, he knew that because it was his cousin who uhm, broke the water tank's pipes" He said with a smug grin on his face, and looked at Kess who was wide mouthed from hearing the story. It was funny, although she would never even dream of attempting something like that, no matter how desperate she was to get away from Lacie and the school.

"Nice one." She giggled, and glanced back at Blaise, her eyes suddenly lowering to the bed sheets where the white stain was. Her eyebrows raised gently, and with her hazel orbs peircing his, she soaked every inch of him in her stare. God he was gorgeous - the way his masculine frame was outlined by the the morning sun, and how his fur was illuminated in a warm golden tone.

Blaise blushed violently at seeing his mark on the covers, and tried to quickly change the subject.

"Uhm, my Grandma's gone to the Sunday market; wont be back till this afternoon either" He said calmly, and gently leaned back on the bed, laying beside Kess who was sat looking at him in a chilled out manner.

"Has she?" Kess asked calmly, not really sure why, as there was no point that Blaise would lie to her.

Blaise nodded, and sighed softly through his slightly open mouth.

"Last night was, something" She chimed, her body finding it's way alongside his relaxed body. He was wearing a pair of loose tracksuit bottoms, black with a sports logo near the feet. He had nothing on his top half, so Kess could gladly scan his rippling pectorals. Resting her head on his rising and falling stomach, he brought his head up, and greeted her with a wide smile.

"I know - having zero experience and zero times to compare with, you were amazing" He whispered softly, a slight hint of humor in his voice. Kess chuckled lightly, and kissed his abs gently, trailing her muzzle along his torso.

"You weren't so bad yourself, Casanova" She gleamed, and winked at him. He smiled, and let his eyes wander around her body, or what he could see of it under the blue bed covers. He could just make out the curved line of her cleavage, but after that, shadows from the concealing sheets. She seemed to notice it, and raised an eyebrow at him.

"What? Its not that bad is it?" She whispered, and smiled softly, her head still nestled on his abs.

"No, its.." He began, but was cut short by Kess wriggling out of the covers, and exposing her whole naked body to him.

"... awful" He stammered, choking as he absorbed every one of her beautiful features. Her curvy waist and hips, the way her breasts were held so pertly, and her hair that tousled around her shoulders made her look heavenly in the glow of the morning.

She tittered, and began to crawl up his form, almost pinning him to the bed. He grinned, and let his golden paws wander up her calves, and then trail up to her thighs, which were now straddling his waist. With a smile all the way across her jaw, she pouted with a humorous manner, and posed as if she were a model. Blaise's face set up a broad, genuine smile, as he watched the beautiful wolf play up on his waist. Her well shaped bust was swaying with her every move, and the alsatian couldn't resist but to gently cup and squeeze them, one in each paw. This set Kess off in a long drawn out groan, and her grin widened over her mouth. Knowing what type of reaction it got him, he kneaded them a little harder, every now and again just lightly pinching the erect, hardened skin of the nipple. She moaned softly, and leant down to plant her lips on his, gently licking the rims of his muzzle.

Blaise was gently letting his tongue roll around hers, when he gently heard and felt Kess stirring. She broke their kiss, and heaved herself off the handsome alsatian with one swift movement. Her body soon was off of him, and gently rising off the bed. In a long stretch, she had begun to walk across the room, gathering her clothes that were scattered around the floor. Blaise raised a brow, and watched in awe as her form sauntered naked around his bedroom.

Kess was smiling to herself, knowing the alsatian was gazing at every inch of her form, from the curvy waistline to the tips of her shoulders, and then all the way back down to her beautifully shaped rear. Her heart was racing, knowing she would have a whole week together with Blaise, just them two, and whatever came their way. In a sudden trigger, her mind told her body to tease. With a promiscuous smile, and turning her head over her shoulder to look at the alsatian, she slowly leant over, keeping her rear straight in the air. Pretending like she hadn't purposely done it, she flicked her tail seductively, and picked up her t-shirt.

Blaise was gaping at the beautiful wolf, who was now suggestively teasing him with her rear.

"Your trying to tease me aren't you?" He said casually, pretending to be calm, whilst in his loins, there was a familiar force building up.

Kess straightened up, and turned around with her hands on her hips, a huge grin plastered across her face.

"So what if I am?" She said coyly, and quickly averted her eyes to a growing bulge in his bottoms.

"It seems to be working" She finished, and softly smiled at him, dropping the shirt in her hands.

Blaise suddenly leapt up, and had a playful smile upon his lips, ready to spring his attack on her. He dashed across the bedroom, whilst Kess squealed, and instinctively sprinted across the floor, her laughter echoing through the house.

"Blaise!" She giggled, amongst trying to flee from his open arms. She was surprisingly fast, and even when being playfully pursued she kept her game face on. The lover's chase didn't last long though, as there was only so much space in the bedroom. Blaise had Kess cornered up against a wall, and she breathed hard as she knew he had won. The alsatian sprang forward, and used his arms as a support whilst pinning Kess to the light blue and white wall.

She smirked, and gave a soft, defeated sigh.

"I guess you won then" She chimed softly, as Blaise's head came nearer to hers, so near she could hear his heavy breaths and panting from all the excitement.

"Yeah, guess I did" He said triumphantly, whilst grinning at the wolf. She had lowered her eyelids, seductively gazing at him. Blaise's masculinity had been brought into full force, and Kess could feel the rather large lump press against her own crotch.

"Why am I still naked?" She asked, playfully rolling her eyes and then looking back at the alsatian. Blaise simply smiled, and leant his head into her neck fur, smelling her scent and absorbing every strand of fur she had.

"I don't know, but I find it very, very appealing" He whimpered, wanting nothing more than to take her in his arms and make a repeat of what they did last night. Kess grinned, and for the first time, found that she accepted her body and appearence. She usually was shy if her mother saw her naked, and here she was making the most gorgeous looking alsatian's member stand on end for her.

"Clearly," She chuckled sweetly, and slid her hand down to his crotch, cupping gently. Blaise expelled a hard groan, and nuzzled her neck line tenderley, wanting to give her the pleasure she gave him last night. Quickly shrugging his tracksuit bottoms off and around his ankles, he gently lifted the wolf in his arms, and propped her against the wall. She gave a light giggle, and rested her arms around his neck, sat looking into his trusting green eyes. He gave a soft lick on her neck, making her whimper slightly. Supporting her weight with one arm, his mind wandered to yesterday night, and how she had given him such a pleasure from simply stroking his member. He grinned suddenly, flicking his gaze down to her crotch, causing Kess to widen her eyes.

"What? What's going on in your head?" She asked, slightly worried.

"You'll find out" He said softly, and trailed his free paw down past her breasts, giving a good squeeze for a worthwhile measure, and past her navel to the top of her crotch. With anticipation, the alsatian slid his finger over her womanhood, eliciting a gasping moan from the wolf. Blaise smiled, and continued to swipe his paw digits back and forth over the delicate surface of her feminine parts. Causing louder and ragged moans from Kess, he began to make gentle circles around and around, slightly harder with each circumference. Nearly driving Kess to another climax, he stopped, leaving her gasping for more. With a smirk, he brought both hands under her thighs, propping her against the wall again.

"Blaise you tease" She groaned with a coy smile, and parted her legs for Blaise's obvious need. He took the invitation, and slowly but surely drove in, the experience totally different to last night. She was more relaxed, and a lot more willing this time. Once his full member was engulfed by her feminine part, he began to thrust, with learning a few tips from the previous night. It didn't take long before Kess began to moan gently, and she squeezed around his neck tight.

Consumed in their love making, they only just heard the door ring with a knock. Kess stopped moaning and bucking her hips, her slightly damp body now just being pummelled by Blaise and his unstoppable thrusting. He was actually going very fast, and Kess could feel all his weight being drove in to her. She perked her ears forwards, still fixed on what the sound could be.

"Forget it, it's... uhhhn..probably just, uhhhhhhn, the postman" Blaise moaned, momenterily stopping to look around, as if the knocker had appeared in the room. Kess shrugged, and gladly returned to thrusting with delight alongside the alsatian, who was smiling as both canines were looking each other straight in the eye. Her body was knocking against the walls with such force, had anyone else been in the house, it would be all they could hear. It was amazing, especially since they seemed to be burning into each other's souls.

With a loud moan and grunt, both the canines had shrunk to the floor. With a quick push, Kess had Blaise on his back, her hips straddling his waist. They both emitted light giggles as they shifted positions, and Kess wasted no time in proving she could be just as powerful. With a loud moan, she began to grind her hips into him, his member still strong inside her. Blaise was incoherently panting and moaning, his paws finding their way onto her hips guiding her body, as the elegant wolf was thrusting with all seventeen years worth of pent up power.

Unbeknownst to them, two pairs of footsteps were ascending up the stairs, coming ever closer to finding the pair in their act. The door flung open, it's door hinges squeaking with a tight creak.

Blaise arched his back, and moaned loudly as he felt the wave of a powerful sensation wash through his body, Kess following shortly with ragged pants and groans. Their moans soon turned to shreiks as they found two furs frowning with shock in the doorway.

"Whoah Whoah Whoah! What the hell are you playing at Blaise?!" A new york style accent rung from a well built fox, with his hands pressed against his head in a disgusted manner. The lion fur stood behind him, was laughing and snickering into his shirt cuff, desperatley trying to hold back a wild chuckle.

Blaise's electric green eyes widened as he realized his very best friends had seen him having sex, and loudly at that. Kess could only blush and pant heavily into the alsatian's chest, not knowing what to do or say. She quietly mumbled a swear under breath, and nestled her soaking body into his. Blaise would so have liked to have taken and embraced her in a steamy hug, but he had other things to take care of.

"Shit man! Look at you, your fucking naked and you still haven't covered yourself up!" The fox shouted, now mentally scarred from seeing his friend's member at full force. He was muttering under his breath, averting his eyes to the floor.

"I am so gonna be needing therapy for this" He cursed, and shoved the lion who was still laughing to himself.

Blaise quickly grabbed the nearest thing to them, the white rug, and flung it around himself and the blushing wolf on his waist. Clearing his throat, he swallowed nervously, and wrapped the white rug snugly around the sweaty pair.

"Why didn't you knock?" Blaise retorted, sweat dripping from his forehead. He had never felt as much embarrassment in two days, and wished the ground would swallow him up. Kess had nothing to worry about, she had never seen these furs before, so it wasn't as embarrassing. Still, she felt for Blaise.

"We did fucking knock!!" The fox shouted, his ears pinning back. Both Kess and Blaise looked up at each other, and realized who the mysterious knocker was.

"Ohhhhhh" They chimed together, and chuckled.

"Ahh, leave 'em Trent," The lion scolded, shoving the fox with a playful nudge.

"Don't touch me, don't ever touch me" The fox said bluntly, and shot the lion a deadly stare.

"Hey, I walked in on you and Lacie that time at your 17th birthday, so you're a little hypocritcal!" The lion retorted, raising an eyebrow.

"You slept with Lacie Chambers?" Both the embracing canines asked, looking at the fox with presumptive eyes. Kess had finally brought her head from the alsatian's chest, and was staring wide eyed at the blushing fox. What a scene to look at, two connected, very sweaty canines, wrapped in a white rug, with a lion looking proud and the fox beaming bright red.

The fox scowled, and rolled his eyes.

"It was a one night thing guys..." He started, and gave a whiny groan after he knew his secret was out.

"Its Lacie, every guy she has is for one night" Kess laughed, and turned around on Blaise's waist whilst he gave a light chuckle to her comment.

"Hey, don't I know you?" The fox loosened up slightly, and furrowed his brows in concentration.

Kess shrugged, she couldn't place his face. Nope, she had never really spoken to him or seen him for that matter around school.

"You're in my music class- yeah, Mrs. Rey on a tuesday afternoon?" The fox recalled, and gave a small hint of a smile.

Blaise had meanwhile felt his member slowly slide back from Kess's passage back into his furry sheath. A wash of releif ran through him, and he casually leaned back, concealed by the white rug that had come in so useful.

Kess thought to her music lessons on tuesdays, and even though she could never place his face, she smiled gently, not wanting the fox to turn hostile again.

"Your fucking amazing on the guitar - I can remember you playing it once and getting an A. Its Kess right?" He said with an approving tone, relaxing somewhat and leaning against the door.

Blaise coughed, and raised an eyebrow.

"If you don't mind, me and Kess kinda need to, uhm, get sorted" He stuttered, and shooed his friends out of the room. The fox gave an annoyed mutter, and walked out of the bedroom, whilst the lion winked at Blaise with a humorous glance.

"My Blaise is all grown up" He chuckled, with an exaggerated womanly tone. Blaise cocked his head, and rolled his eyes whilst watching the lion slide out from the room.

Kess gave a light sigh, and gazed up into the alsatian's weary yet amused eyes. Indeed he had grown up, and so had she. What an interesting week it would be. What an interesting life it would be.
