An Apsol alone never has luck

It was a nice warm Day in the summer. Naru , an 18 Years old Absol male , was traveling through the woods as always but something wasn´t right in his Eyes.

Where are all the others ? He thought. Have they all run away from me or are they fearing ?

Thousands of thoughts were running through his Head until he reached his Den or more what was the rest of it. Someone had destroyed it.

" What the Hell ? Who was this ? " He shouted out loud.

" Me ." An Seviper said who came out of a bush.

" So it was you. Tell me why. Did I bring you pitch or was it only an accident ?"

" Pitch is not the right word. You are bringing only misfortune. My Son was a good child till you came in our village."

" A good son ? Was that before or after he had fallen in love with the daughter of the elder from the Zangoose clan ?"

" Shut up. He is not in Love with her. She has used some kind of Black magic on him. He is supposed to marry the daughter of the village elder. Not such a rotten girl."

" If you think so then let me ask you this. What have I to do with it ?"

" You were there. That´s all I need. "

" THHHHAAAAHHHHHH..... It´s always the same. You are simply closing your Eyes from the truth. Very well then. I leave but before I do I will tell you something. Before the Day's end , you will see the truth. "

Naru said this because he knew it. He was hit with a special ability for his sake. He was allowed to see the future. He could always see what was going to happen to others but never to himself. His future was always black for him but that he didn´t care now.

Once he said this he turned in place and left. Unsure where he had to go he simply thought of going over the hills who were near. He had been told that an Apsol can find some peace behind them but it was a really hard and dangerous way to walk over the hills.

Well.... What other options I have ? He thought while he walked. I have been everywhere now except there so what reason do I have to not go there ? Besides when I´m supposed to die then why not alone ? I have lived my hole Adult life alone then why not die alone ?

" Naru. Wait. " A male voice said from behind him.

Naru stopped and locked behind him. He saw a young Seviper male coming out of a bush closely followed by a Zangoose girl.

" Please Naru don´t go. " The Male said

" I´m sorry my friend. I have to go and you two should better do it also. "

" Why should we leave." The girl asks.

" HAH.... Listen. I have seen your future and......" Naru looked to the Earth while he said " your parents will kill each other tonight and when you are there.... One of you will die too."

The pair was shocked first but then they agreed.

" We already knew that this would happen but so soon ?" The male said.

" They only needed a reason to attack each other and you gave them one. Even if you don´t want it."

" Yeah...... but where should we go now ? I .... We only knew our village." The girl asks.

Naru closed his Eyes for a minute. Then he opened them again and said.

"Follow this way till the night rises and never look back. Even when you are hearing something. On the next morning your path will show itself from alone."

" Thanks Naru. How could we ever pay you back your kindness ?" The Male asks and Naru answered.

" Never become like your parents. That´s payment enough for me. Now go."

The pair looked onto each other , said bye to Naru and then left him. Naru on the other side moved on his way to the mountains.

2 Days later he reached them without problems. On the night after he had to leave he saw the village burning and he heard many Pokemon screaming and crying. This was always his problem. Once he left a village it was destroyed or someone died as if destiny wanted to punish the ones who send him away. He hated that but he had to bear it as a burden.

Now he had another problem. He had to search a way up the mountain. He looked around but didn´t found a path so he decided to climb. For his luck he was a good climber but this Mountain wasn´t normal. It was as if the stones were living and didn´t want him standing on them. Every time he landed on one he had to move on because the stone crumbled first and then dropped down. After a few minutes of jumping he reached a little plateau. Here he rested to gain some breathing back.

" UFFF..... Never thought that I had to act so quickly. " He said to himself.

* GROWL*

" Fuck. My Stomach is rebelling. I would have better took something to eat with me."

His Stomach was growling so loud that he didn´t hear that the plateau had become some cracks around him until.

* KRACK*

" Was that my stomach ?"

* KRACK KRACK *

" WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!"

The plateau broke and took him with it down. Was it that now ? Was this my life ? Was that really all ? He thought to himself while he went down. He tried to stop himself but it was all useless. Then he felt a sharp and really hard pain on his Head and he faded off.

All was black. Only black.

" Hey. "

A Voice was heard from somewhere.

" Hey come on. "

The Voice said something but Naru couldn´t understand it.

" We have to get him to the doctor. Quick."

Doctor ? What ? Who needs a doctor ? The black moved away a bit. He could see some shadows but no forms.

" Hey you. Come back to life. Hey. Wake up."

This Voice became some loud scream in his Head and it brought some heavy pain with it. Naru tried to lay his paws on his Ears but his paws were gone. He only saw some legs without paws. Then he didn´t even saw his legs. All disappeared in darkness. The shadows, His lower Body followed by his upper Body. All disappeared until only his Head was left.

Suddenly 4 Human feats appeared and began to kick his Head like a Soccerball. He screamed stop it but his mouth had gone. He then cried but only darkness came out of his Eyes. The darkness tears surrounding him and then only the tips of his Ears and his horn were the only pieces left of his Body. Then he heard.

" Darkness is the Key. Darkness is all that´s needed. Darkness will take everything."

He then tried to scream.

" NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO........" He had woken up.

He panted really hard while he looked around. He was in an den or more a house. He tried to move but then he felt some sharp pain in his left front leg. He looked at it and saw that it was fixed with plaster and a was rope was going around it and his neck. He then also felt some serious pain in and around his Head.

" AHH. You're finally awake." A Male Voice said in front of him.

He looked up and saw another Absol standing in a door.

" W...What..... Happened ?" Naru asks under some pain.

" I don´t know. I hoped that you could tell me." The Apsol answered.

Naru tried to think but all that came out was painful.

" I can´t..... Remember."

" What can you remember ? By the way. I´m Ron. Your doctor."

" I ..... I..... Don´t know..... Who am I ? WHO AM I !!! "

" HMMMM..... OK. Calm down. Calm down. You have had an accident or something like that and something really hard must have hit your Head. That´s why you can´t remember anything but don´t worry. Your Memories will surely come back again. Just rest now. Any other answers will come soon. " Ron said while he moved next to Naru and pressed a few Buttons on a machine.

" I...... I.............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ " Naru sight became black again and he went back to sleep.

In his dream he saw some strange pictures. All was looking so strangely unclear as if he was looking through a wall made of water. He saw some Pokemon without faces. He heard some words that didn´t make any sense. Then the scenario changed. All went black again but one point stayed white. He tried to focus this point and then he saw a beautiful Absol female. First she smiled into his face but then she feared. No , more. She was in panic. Her lips moved but he didn´t hear anything. He tried to focus his Ears as hard as he could and then finally he heard something. It was nothing more than a whisper but that was enough for him.

" Naru.......... Darkness........ Danger......... Watch out....."

Then something happened under him. The ground suddenly shacked heavy and he fell down into darkness. There he sank in very quick and only a second later he had disappeared or better said he had awoken in reality.

" Dammit..... Pant.... Another...... dream...." Naru said.

" Must have been a nightmare or something I guess." A female Voice said.

" Yeah it was..... HHHHÄÄÄÄÄHHHHH??????"

He looked confused to the side from where the Voice had come from and then he got the shock of his Life. The female that he had seen in his Dream was sitting next to him as if she had become alive from his dream.

" Sorry if I may have woken you up ." She said and looked a bit down, blushing slightly.

" ÄÄÄÄHHHHHH.........ÄÄÄÄÄÄHHHMMMMMM....... BBBBBBLLLLLAAAAAAA......." He couldn´t get any words. She had stunned him with her beauty.

" Hey. Close your mouth you dreamer."

" ÄÄÄÄHHHHH.... What ? ..... UPS .... Sorry...... ddddoouuuwwwww..... My Leg."

He had moved wrong and now his Body paid him back.

" HAHAHA. Easy. You are not healed yet. By the way. I´m Fyra. Who are you ?"

He tried to remember the dream. How did she call me ? N..... Na...... Naru I guess. He thought and then he said to her also blushing slightly.

" I.... I´m .... Naru. "

" Naru? What a strange name. Does it have a special meaning ?"

" I....I don´t..... Know...... NNNNHHHHHHH...... My Head burns..... NNNNNNHHHHHHH."

He moved his other front leg on his Head to hold it but once he reached it he discovered something. His Head was bounded in bandages and for his sadness he felt that his horn was not complete. The piece from his Head to the top was there but the blade was missing in action.

" My Horn..... What happened ? WHAT HAPPENED TO ME ? WHY CAN I NOT REMEMBER ?"

He began to move wildly and uncontrollably.

" Hey Stop it ! You are only hurting yourself. " Fyra said and laid herself over his Body.

When he felt her Body on his he stopped his movement immediately. Then he looked over her Body and blushed deeply. She was perfect in his Eyes . All was right. Her slender Body, her horn, even her Tail was perfect in his Eyes.

" WAHHH.... YOU PERVERT !!!" She shouted from one second to another and slapped him on his cheek.

First he wasn´t sure why she did this but then he recognized that he had begun to erect and she had seen it. He quickly covered himself and turned his Body so that she was now facing his back. Then he said

" I´m.... Sorry.... It´s..... Just..... You.... Are.... So..... Beautiful.... To......me."

" I´m not beautiful." She answered.

He turned his face to her side

" You...are.... No...Matter... What..."

Now she was the one who blushed deeply.

" Am I really..... Beautiful ?" She lowly ask

" Who.... Says.... No.... Is..... Blind..... And .... a..... Fool." Was his answer.

" Th.....Thanks. " She gave him a smile and in that moment he had lost. He had fallen in love and he wanted to tell her but right at that moment.

" Seems like that you two have introduced yourself. " Ron had entered the room.

Immediately the mood had been ruined and she began to leave by saying.

" Yep. We have and I better leave now. "

" Why so hasty ?" Ron asks.

" I have something to do now and that doesn´t need any more wait ."

" Very well then. See you tomorrow then ?"

" Maybe ." Fyra said and left.

Seeing her leaving let Naru´s pain rise but he didn´t show it.

" HAH..... Why must she leave everytime when I´m entering a room ?" Ron asks himself. " No matter. Did you remember something like your Name or so ?"

" My.... Name...... Naru."

" Naru ? HMMMMM......."

" What ...... wrong?"

" That Name is...... let me say not normal. "

" Why ?"

" It is a name of an old Pokemon speak and it means the luckless or something like that. "

" L..... Luck....... Luckless........ NNNNNNNNNNNNNNHHHHHHHHHHH....."

Suddenly some flashes appeared in front of Naru´s Eyes and he saw some pictures while his Head burned like fire with pain.

" What is it ?" Ron asks who saw that Naru was in pain and Naru answered.

" Pain....... Pictures........ Flash´s....... IT HURTS..."

" Do you can remember what they mean to you. I mean these Pictures ?"

" No....."

" HMMMM.... At least you can remember some pictures. That´s a good sign. "

" For.... What ?"

" That your brain isn´t hurt and that it is going to recover itself. I bet that you will remember more by the time. Just don´t drag it. All comes when the time is right. By the way. When you see Fyra the next time you should thank her."

" For.... What ?"

" She found you and brought you here . Not to mention that she looked after you the whole time while you slept and had some fever Nightmares. "

Naru thought about it for a minute and then he asks before he was sent back to sleep.

" How long...... did I.... Slept ?"

" Over a month and let me say that it was really close for you as she brought you here. Now sleep. Tomorrow will be a hard day for you."

On the next Morning

He had a nightmare over the night again and it was nearly the same as last night. Only the end had changed a bit as if it wasn´t a nightmare. When he woke up on the next morning, Fyra was again there, sitting next to him.

" Good morning. Slept well ?" She asks him.

" YAWN..... Not really." He answered while he rubbed his Eyes with one paw.

" Hungry ? "

" Yeah. "

* GROWL *

" HEHE. Pretty hungry. " * GGGRRRRROOOOWWWWLLLL *

She smiled and he blushed in shame.

" Wait a bit. I´ll get you something to eat. " She said and left .

15 minutes later she came back with a tablet on her back and on the tablet where many different Berries. She walked with the tablet close to him and he then managed it somehow to take the tablet from her back. While he did it his paw striped her back fur. At that moment they both shaken a bit because their Bodies liked the feelings of their softnesses.

Once he could move again he placed the tabled on his Body and ask her then.

" Do you want to eat with me?"

And she answered.

" No. I´ve had my breakfast already but if you wanted to...... how about a lunch in the cafe when it´s time ?"

" That offer I cannot deny. Thanks. By the way..... Why are you..... Helping me ? Not that I´m against it. I only wanted to know ?"

" I don´t know myself. Normally I wouldn´t help someone but since I saw you lying there on the ground..... I felt that you might need some. "

" Why had you never helped someone ?"

" Because no one ever helped me when I needed some. They always said that an Absol only brings pitch or misfortune."

On the word misfortune a flash rocket through Naru Eyes and he saw another short Memory. Then he said.

" I know what you mean. I.... I.... Can remember the same situation."

" Really ? OH That´s .... That´s.... "

" Come on. Say it. Nicely. I don´t mind it when it comes from ...... you."

* GGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLL*

" You better eat something before your stomach says bye to you. HIHIHI."

" Yeah.... HAHA... HAMMMMM...... NNNNHHHHHHH........ Delicious..... HAMMMMM . "

He ate as if he had not eaten in Years. Within 5 minutes all Berries were eaten and he was laying in the Bed with a full stomach and a bright smile.

" OHHHHH..... I needed that. Thanks for bringing me this Berries. "

" No need to be thankful. I ......" Right at that moment the door to Naru´s room got open and Ron moved in.

" UPS.... Seems like someone had some breakfast yet. "

* RRRRÜÜÜÜÜÜLLLLLPPPPPPPSSSSSSS *

" Sorry. " Naru said ashamed.

" Yeah, yeah. Let out that doesn´t pay. Well then. Ready for some test ?"

" I am. "

" Good. "

" I´ll wait outside. " Fyra said and started to leave.

" Wait! " Naru said. " Why don´t you come with us ?"

" I cannot ..... I don´t like to see some Blood. Even if it´s dry. That´s why I leave."

" Ah. OK. That is a point. "

" Don´t worry. I´ll be here and wait for you two. "

Ron then took the Bed into rolling and together they drove to an elevator. Once it reached , they got in and then Ron pressed the lowest Button. The doors closed and the elevator began to move. While they drove Ron said to Naru.

" Do you like her ?"

" Who ?" Naru asks nervously.

" Fyra ."

" OH....ÄHM...... Like is not...... the right word."

" HMMM..... You love her. That´s really good. "

" Why is it ?"

" Because she was always the hunted one from us all. Everyone who walked over her path sent her away or even attacked her and she had always got sick from that. Maybe you are the one who can save her hunted soul and fulfil her dreams. "

" Why do you know so much about her ?"

" I´m her Brother. That´s why. "

" Really ? I´m sorry but you two doesn´t look like twins or so."

" That´s because ..... We two had different fathers. You see. My Dad was the real love of our mother but he died after he had mated with our mother and her father..... Well..... Let´s just say that he was an asshole till we ran away. "

" Sorry to hear that. Please take my apologize for asking you."

" No need to. You couldn´t have known it. Well, we have arrived."

The rest of the Day was only boring. Naru was tested with several tests. His Head was watched by a machine and his arms was unfixed by the plaster. Then on Midday he ate with Fyra in the Cafe and in the evening they both talked over this and that before she brought him back to his room.

On the third Day he was allowed to go with her into a park and there they both were now sitting on a bank looking onto some playing children.

" Oh just look at them. Aren´t they cute when they are playing ?" Fyra asks

" Yep. Definitely. "

" Do you maybe know that you are having a mate or a child ?"

" No I can´t but I bet that I´m a loner. "

" Why ?"

" Because no one searched for me over the Days. That´s why or did someone asks for me ?"

" As far as I know no one has asked. "

" See. Why did you...... AAARRRRGGGGHHHH....." Suddenly Naru´s Head hurts and Instinctly he closed his Eyes.

With his Eyes closed he saw something terrible and his Eyes shoot open again.

" What´s wrong ? Are you hurt ? " Fyra asks but didn´t got an answer from Naru.

" Hey... What´s wrong ?" Again no answer.

Meanwhile Naru had looked around and found what he had searched. He got up from the bank and ran towards a bush. Once he reached it he heard a child screaming in pain. He ran behind the bush and saw a little Absol fighting with a snake. He ran to the child and on his way he cut the Head of the snake off. The child immediately cried in pain and hold his left front leg. Naru saw that some blood was running down on the leg and that it was quiet many.

" Hey there little one. Please show me your leg. "

The child did it and what Naru saw left him stunned in the first place. He had seen this in his Vision that he had a few seconds ago. Right at this time Fyra showed up with another Apsol female.

" Timmy. What have you done now ?" The female ask.

" I.. Did nothing. This snake......" The Boy started but was cut by Naru.

" No time to talk now. Fyra go and get your brother. Quick. Timmy was being bitten by a Cobra and he is showing some allergic reactions already."

Fyra nodded and ran away.

" Now to you. I don´t know what he did in the past but this isn´t a simulation or something. Your son is in danger and I mean in real danger so you better not start arguing with him and get me some Salveyo-kraut and two Leechie Berries. Got that ?"

The female only nodded and ran off too. Now Naru was alone with Timmy who was still crying.

" Hey... Does it hurt much ?" Naru asks Timmy.

" Yeah.... Sniff.... It burns...."

" OK. Tell me . Are you trusting me ?"

" Yeah...sniff.... Please..... End the pain."

" I will but .... I have to hurt you a bit more. But I promise you this. It will stop hurting you after. "

Naru smiled after he had said this and Timmy tried to smile back. Then Timmy said.

" If.... Sniff.... It ends then...... OK."

" Good Boy. Now tell me ...why were you here ?" Naru asks while he searched the Area and grabbed a tendril .

" I....I played .... Sniff.... Hide and seek with my..... Sniff...... friends..... SSSOOOOOOLLLLLLL......." Naru had bound the tendril around the leg hard. Nearly too hard but enough to stop the bloodstream.

" Aha... So that´s why you are here ? Come on.. Tell me the true reason why you are here ?" Naru went on while he cleaned the leg from some blood with his spit.

" I....I....I tried to train..... Sniff.... My attacks..... AAABBBBBBSSSSSSOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL ...."

Naru had bitten into the leg with two of his fangs and now he was swallowing the Blood of the Boy like a Vampire but he only took three swallows and then he spilled the blood out. After he had spilled the Blood out he said.

" Why did you train here ? Is there someone who shall not see you ? Maybe your mother ?"

" SOOOLLL..... Sniff..... SOOOOLLLL..... Sniff..... No..... Sniff.... Not my mother..... Sniff.... SSOOOLLL"

Naru had swallowed more blood.

" Not your mother.... Hmm.... Who then ?"

" AHHH..... ABB...... Sollll..... Sniff..... I cannot tell....... Sniff..... Please some water.... My mouth feels dry."

SHIT.... The Poisen is working faster than I thought when he is already feeling his mouth drying out. Naru thought to himself but right at this moment Timmies mother showed up with the things he needed.

" Right in time Mam. Now please crush the Kraut and put it on the wound."

She did as she was told. She crushed a few Krauts with a stone and then put it on the wound. Meanwhile Naru took a Berrie and hold it in front of Timmies mouth.

" Here. Eat the Berrie. It will help you with the pain. "

Timmy then slowly ate one. Then Naru holds a second one on his Mouth but Timmy faded out. Immediately Naru took him on the ground and listened to his Breathing and his Heartbeat.

" Does he live ? Is he..... Please tell me ?" Timmies Mother asks in fear.

" He lives but I hope that Fyra comes back soon. "

Once he had said that he took the Berrie in his both paws and tried to press it but with less effort because his leg was still not right healed.

" AHHH.... Fuck. My leg is still not ..... GGGAAHHHH.... Please help me with the Berries. Press the juice in his Mouth and make sure that he drinks it. "

" I do. "

God dammit !!! Fyra please quick. I cannot hold him alive very much longer. Naru thought while he holds Timmies Head.

Luckily, two minutes later Fyra came back with Ron and two Chanseys.

" Let me see. " Ron said and looked over Timmy.

" Good. Chanseys , give me the Antivenom."

" Does he will be OK ?" Timmies Mother asks with fear.

" You could thank Naru that he will be OK soon. All what he did was the right thing. Even if I don´t know how it worked it worked. " Ron said while he injected the Antivenom.

" OK. Chanseys bring Timmy to the hospital as quick as you can. I will follow shortly. "

Both Chanseys nodded and were off. Next Timmies mother said.

" Thank you for saving my Son. I don´t know.... Is there something that I can do for you ?"

" Yes. There is one thing. Don´t be mad with your Son. He tried to train himself for a girl he liked much . "

" Really ? Well.... I try but....."

" Just let him be. He is a good boy. Even if he is sometimes followed by misfortune..... CAUGHT..... " Naru spilled out some more blood but for his sake it wasn´t Timmies.

" CAUGHT..... CAUGHT.... Seems like that I have...... CAUGHT..... Drank some poison from him...... CAUGHT..... CAUGHT....."

" Here. Drink this. It´s the Antivenom." Ron said and gave him a little Ampoule with some violet water in it.

Naru quickly drank it and a minute later he stopped with the blood spilling.

" Good. I leave then to look after Timmy but You come as soon as possible back to the hospital. Understood ?" Ron asks

" We will. " Fyra answered and a minute later Ron was off with Timmies mother.

Once they were gone Fyra looked onto Naru and asks him.

" How did you know that Timmy was in trouble and how did you know to slow down the poison ?"

Naru tried to answer but instead he suddenly hold his Head and mumbled something. Then his horn began to glow. The glowing moved over into a rhythm of high and low until it vanished. Naru then lowered his paws and Fyra saw that his horn had changed. It was bigger and higher now but the blade was still missing. Next Naru said to Fyra.

" I´ve had a Vision of Timmy in danger and I knew it from my father. He had done this with me one time once I was bitten too."

" A Vision ?"

" Yeah. That´s my personal ability. I can see the future but only from others. Not mine."

" I see. You said your father did it with you. Does that mean .... " She was cut by Naru.

" Yeah. I can remember him now. All has come back to me about him but that´s all. Now come on. We won´t let your brother wait too long, don´t we ?"

Fyra nodded yes and together they walked back to the hospital saying nothing the whole way. Once they were back , they told Ron all and they got told that Timmy was fine and that he was already awake again. Hearing this let a stone drop down from Naru´s Heart.

4 Month´s later

All over the month´s many things had happened to Naru. Because of his future Visions he had become one of the Village elder´s and he had remembered more things of his past but it was always only some fragments that never made any sense to him.

He and Fyra had become really close friends and his love for her had become a really strong band. It had gotten so strong that he always feared that he would die when he was not close to her and he thought that she felt the same way but he never ask her for it.

One thing had never changed. Each night he had the same nightmare and he always woke up after it but that was about to change this night. All over the Day, each one in the village had a really bad feeling in his stomach but they were not ill or something. It was just a feeling. Naru had gone to bed early because he had felt weak and tired. He had almost become clear with his nightmare but the dream he was now in was totally different.

He was walking to the cliff of the hill and he could clearly see the Village under him. Then from out of nowhere a flash hit the ground in the middle of the village. Next the ground began to shake and he lost his balance. Once he landed on the ground , he could see that a big gash was moving through the Village and only a second later a red river was in it. Then he heard every Absol scream in fear and the red river moved out of the gash. Then there was silence. Deathly silence. The Village had gone and had taken each Absol with it. Then he saw a light coming down from the heaven. It stopped right in front of him and then he heard a female Voice saying.

" You are their only hope. The darkness will take everyone if you are not fast enough. Wake up and warn them. Wake up and save them. Wake up Naru. WAKE UP !"

He woke up and he saw Fyra´s face over him. She looked as if she was in shock or fear. Then she asks him

" Is everything alright with you ? You screamed while you slept. Did you have this nightmare again ?"

" I will tell you later. We don´t have much time. Please help me to gather the others. "

" Now ? It´s 2 in the morning. They are all.... " He cut her by grabbing her front paws.

" Wake them or we will all die here !! Now go. "

She was shocked but she did as he had told her.

20 Minutes later

Fyra had waked up each one and now they were standing in the middle of the Village. Each one was asking himself why Naru had called them out and a few already wanted to go back to bed but before they could do a step Naru called.

" Each one who will go back to sleep is death before the morning rises !!"

Within a second each one was awake and looked over to Naru who was standing on a rock.
