Jenny
#3 of Transitions
Jake walked with a spring in his step, he always seemed to have a spring in his step, but this fine summer day, it was a little springier than usual. The fair miss Jenna had taken notice of him in science class, and he was on top of the world. True, she had only looked at him for a few minutes, and only because one of her friends had tripped and landed on his tail... which had hurt a little.... But! It was all worth it, she noticed him! With her cute lil' ears, and her cute lil' nose, and her feet... well, let's not get started on her feet. Jenny was an okapi, and although that might not seem like the most beautiful body type to all people, it hit a chord with Jake. Jenny was the only okapi in school, and he was the only roo. While other couples usually paired off within their genus, oddballs like them had to stick together. Or so he thought.
He made it home, somehow managing not to fall over his feet, gliding up the stairs and to his room, with every intent to go straight to bed, he hadn't slept well the last few nights, getting back into the school day rush. But all that stopped when he noticed an envelope taped to his door. His parents did that now and again, it would annoy him, but he recognized it as a good way to get him mail, or to tell him to take out the trash, or whatever really.
Inside the envelope was a note, he scanned down the note, "Summers.... Invited.... Party.... 101 Bay street.... Celebration.... Birthday..."
He dropped the envelope, and sat on the bed.
It was Jenny's 19th birthday! And he was invited! Oh happy day. Strange though, her family wasn't really well-to-do, they got by, but that card looked custom, and expensive, will all kinds of frillies and bobbles, it was even scented. Jake sighed, it smelled like her.
Checking the date... Tonight!? Wow... No notice... ... ... Gah!
Running around the room, he tore out of his clothes, running around naked trying to find everything he'll need... pants, shirt, wallet, keys. He does a pit check, his nose wrinkling... Damn. Oh well, Hatchet body spray it is! Throwing on his chosen clothes, the blue jeans, the white shirt, spraying himself with one paw, trying to fix his hair with the other, he was ready in about 10 minutes flat. Which is kind of impressive, when you think of it. Then out the door, across the walk and... Oh yeah... Party's not for three hours. Heh.
......................................
That night:
Walking up to Jenny's place, Jake noticed a certain motif to the place, her parents had put in a lot of greenery in their yard, along with the rustic wooden fence and concrete walkway, it was right out of a quaint country magazine. The front door, like the rest of the place was white, it looked like it got a lot of love, the pain was fresh and clean. He knocked on the door, waiting patiently.
As it swung open, the young roo's heart stopped. There was Jenny, in a black dress that matched her fur well. It hugged her in all the right places, and left you guessing at others. Her muzzle tapered down into a shy smile, "Hey Jake... How are you?"
"Well... Um... Hi. I'm good... Thanks for having me." D'oh... 'thanks for having me'? Real original.
Jenny didn't seem to mind, "Come in, come in." She moved out of his way, and closed the door behind him, "Sit wherever."
He did, the couch he'd chosen was comfy, against a windowed wall, he looked around. Hardwood floors, papered walls, the place was nice, fashionable, but not what you'd call fancy. A table was set up in the middle of what he took to be the living room, munchies laid out, "Well... Thanks." He grabs some Doritos, "Where's everyone else?"
Jenny grinned, looking left and right, "I didn't invite anyone else...." She looks over, "I wanted to talk."
Jake almost jumped off the couch and did a little kooky dance. But lord knows that wasn't going to happen, what happened instead was more like a little kooky stammer, followed by some nervous fidgeting, "Oh, erm, well... ok?" Jake was normally pretty well spoken, but for some reason he had a hard time putting himself out right then. It might have been the burrito he had for lunch was acting up, it might be some deep down psychological thing creating a fear of black and white stripes, which Jenny's dress showed a lot of, OR it could be that little Jakey was nervous. Probably the latter.
Lifting a hoof off the floor, Jenny crossed her legs, leaning forward, "I see the way you look at me at school." She starts, "It's because I'm looking back at you." She looks at Jake with a contented look on her face, as though she had thought saying that would be harder, but she'd found it easy.
Jake looked up, "Looking? What way?" He starts, thinking to stall for time to think, then when he hears the second part he freezes, dropping his chips back in their bowl. "You do?"
Nodding her brown-furred head, Jenny went on, "Yeah, I think I like you... You aren't like the other guys in school. You have... style." Her paw goes down to her knee, bunching up the material a bit, showing another stripe or two on her leg. "I'd like you to sit beside me."
Jake found himself moving quickly, half walking, half bouncing beside Jenny on the couch, "This.... Is so cool. It works out! I've been looking at you forever!" His ears cock forward, "But why now? I mean, you could have said something earlier, given me a sign?" He puts his paw on hers.
"Well... You could have too y'know, for a while I thought you'd just never saw an okapi before, and then...." She breaks off, looking up at him, "I figured it out." She closes her eyes, and leans forward, lips quivering. Jake had never dealt with anything like this before, but he'd seen movies, he went in for it. First, they bumped noses, then they snickered a little, and then they found each other, and kissing, nipping and nibbling.
Jenny found herself on her back, and she gave a hungry grin, looking up at Jake, she licked his neck, taking a bite at his chin. Reaching down, she pulled off the roos shirt, rubbing her black nailed paws through his coarse, but soft tan fur, scritching gently before trailing down his taut tummy.
The roo looked down, he couldn't believe what was happening, not only did his secret crush like him, but she had invited him over to her place. And not only was he invited over, but she was taking off his pants. His thick tail thumped against the side of the couch. He found his paws reaching over, pulling the dress over her head. After throwing the black cloth into the corner, he rubbed his paws together, he looked at her... And his jaw dropped.
The okapi was nude, with a dark brown torso, it looked like she was wearing black and white stockings on all her limbs, but those were just her colors. He stared at her, dainty hooves, tapered black muzzle, gentle handful-sized breasts, and a little flash of pink between her legs. Pure sex. She hooked a hoof into the roos jeans and pushed them down, taking the white boxers with them, leaving Jake very naked, very on top of her, and very.... very excited.
Throbbing against her, Jake ground himself against her hip, paws searching for a good hold, and he finds it, grabbing her hips. She smelled so good, musky, and wild. She spread her legs and he lined up his tapered red boomerhood at her, then sunk in, entering her and sliding in to his hilt. She felt warm, so moist, no thought was spared to the condition of the couch, they were on.
Jenny ran her paw along Jakes back, leaning up to nip at his shoulder, she would squeak and moan in his ear as her hips bucked back at his. Jake was going strong, Jenny was breathing hard, and all of a sudden, they both blew. Jenny spasmed, wetting the upholstery, and Jake shuddered, loosing himself in her, he nuzzled her shoulder, murring happily....
......................................
Jake woke up, arms wrapped around his pillow, he shook his head, clearing the fuzz, "Huh...." He looked down, "Aw..." His sheets were positively soaked. He remembered.
Although he had fun at Jenny's party, he had not been the only one, she had smiled at him, and he thought there might had been something there, but a few hours later, after cake and presents, he was expected to go home, alone. He had stripped and jumped into bed, and dreamed nice dreams.
He rolled over, covered himself, and went back to sleep.
