A matter of respect
A matter of respect by Raven Fox: A genetic engineered anthro feline ends up at a different time and planet. He's considered an outcast by the population, so he has to prove himself to earn their respect, because a female anthro tiger has a crush on him.
Prologue
Things were bleak for the human race at the end of the twenty first century. A bunch of wars sprouted up, putting a drain on the armed forces though out the world. Lucky, there was a first contact at the beginning of the twenty second century. The anthros gotten the wars stopped around the world and a peace treaty was signed. Some groups left the Earth, settling on other planets. They occasionally do hit and run attacks on shipping lanes or an occasional attack on Earth. The military on Earth decided on a military version of an anthro feline. They liked the tiger's strength and the physical agility of the lynx. Out of ten births only one lived past his first birthday, the project was shelved at the request of the anthros.
Year 2130 orbiting space station.
Kris looked at his reflection and bared his teeth. The anthro feline looked at his features based off a lynx. He has the blunt muzzle with the tuft pointed ears of a lynx. Kris sighed, grabbed his short tail and examined it, then looked back at his reflection with the black and orange stripe pattern on him. "I have the body build of an autho lynx, but the coloring of an anthro tiger." He muttered to himself running his hand thru his black head hair. Kris has it slightly long.
"All pilots scramble!" The PA blared through out the station. Kris cusses to himself running to the hanger bay.
Outside the base, in a fighter.
Kris followed the flight leader's fighter. "Hybrid, this is panther lead. A group of renegades are heading to Earth. Our radiological sensors are picking up nuclear weapons on the fighters. So none of these fighters must not get close to the Earth." Said the human in the lead fighter.
"Rodger that panther lead, none of those fighters will get pass me alive." Kris said with a slight hiss in his voice.
In the cockpit of the lead fighter, the human male shuddered to himself at his wingman's reply. "That feline scares the shit out of me." He muttered to himself as they intercepted the renegades. The flight leader knew of Kris's origin, a military genetically engineered feline anthro. Kris is one feline you don't want mad at you. He put a total of ten large humans in the hospital when they decided to try mugging a few nuggets on leave. The military sent Kris to the lunar station for a few months till things calm down on Earth. Kris destroyed the inside of the bar, plus damaging a police vehicle. The flight leader remembered the smirk on the generals' face when he was told that story. "I can't believe a five foot tall thinly built feline can cause so much damage to a place." He muttered to himself remembering the photos the general showed him of the bar. "The place looked like a tornado went through it, plus it took a shot of a phaser at the max stun setting to knock him down. If they did that setting on a human, the human will be out for a couple of days. Kris was out for an hour." The human thought to himself looking at the fighter flying next to him.
Kris tightens his grip on the controls and engaged the renegade fighter. There are a total of six fighters heading to Earth. Before the flight leader finished off the last fighter, a missile launched from it. "Hybrid get that missile before it gets to Earth!" Said the flight leader on the radio.
"Rodger that, panther lead." The flight leader watched as Kris's fighter went to intercept the missile.
Kris's fighter got five miles behind the missile. The feline knew sometimes if you hit a nuclear missile, the warhead detonates. Kris wasn't taking any chances, he might be aggressive, but the feline didn't want end up dead in a nuclear blast. He started firing at the missile, the warhead detonated.
The flight leader blinked his eyes and looked at the area where Kris was at. There was nothing, he cussed at himself. "Base, this is panther lead. Hybrid is deceased; he was caught in the blast. There's no sign of an escape pod or wreckage, he's gone base." The human maneuvered his fighter looking for signs of Kris's fighter, there was none. "Dam renegades, even thou he scared me. I liked that feline; he followed orders and didn't question them."
Unknown place.
Kris blinked his yellow colored eyes; he lifted his visor and rubbed them. "Dam that must have been a thirty kiloton warhead. That would have taken out ten square miles." A minute later his vision cleared. He knew one of the talents his body has is that it heals itself fast. The feline looked around the space surrounding his fighter. "OK, where am I? I don't see Earth or the moon. The blast must have pushed my fighter somewhere, I better get a fix. Crap, I got to reset everything; it will take a few minutes for stuff to turn back on." Kris starts resetting systems, unknown to him a squadron of fighters are heading toward him.
Felinski fighter few minutes away.
Cyrus, an anthropomorphic tiger looked at his screen and laughed. "Home base, I have the unknown." He laughs loud grabbing his sides. "Sorry, the unknown is an F- 797 Earth fighter. Who would be flying an antique this far in space?"
"Red lead, this is base. Something strange going on, the Earth forces retired those fighters sixty years ago. There are three left in existence, none of them can't fly anymore, are you sure it's an F-797?" Said the voice in the headset.
"Home base, my scanners are indicating an F-797. I should have visual in a minute." Cyrus said to his radio as he moved closer to the unknown.
A minute later the fighter came into view. Cyrus chuckled at the sight of the old fighter. The tiger knew about this type of fighter, it's small, agile and packs a powerful punch. "Home base, this is red lead. The unknown is an F-797, it appears to have no power, and we're taking in tow." Cyrus turns on the tractor beams and starts towing the fighter.
Kris's fighter in tow.
"Come on systems, get started, I got to find out where I am at. What the?" Kris see's a very sleek gray colored fighter by his. "Whoa, who do you belong to? I hope you're friendly; it would be a shame to destroy a beautiful fighter." He got a navigation fix and relaxed. Kris found out that he's near the Felinski system. The planet is populated by large anthropomorphic felines, they are friends of Earth. "I must be near a test area that must be a new fighter being tested. I better get a hold of them." Kris adjusted his radio frequency to get a hold of the Felinski fighter.
Cyrus's fighter, towing Kris's fighter.
"Red lead, this is home base. We're in contact with the F-797; you got to tune in on a radio channel we haven't used in fifty years." Said a voice in Cyrus's headset.
Cyrus tuned his radio to the obsolete radio channel. "Earth fighter, this is red lead. What is your status?"
"Red lead, this is the Earth fighter in your tractor beam. I was caught in a blast and some how ended up near your planet. I don't know what happen, can you get a hold of Earth and tell them that Kris is alright. They must think I am dead." Kris said to the Felinski fighter.
Cyrus thought to himself, he got on his in flight computer and ran the name on his data base. The tiger sighed at the results of his search. "Home base, I ran the name of the Earth pilot. He's been listed dead seventy years ago."
Kris continued to reset systems on his fighter. He smiled at the sight of power levels coming back to normal. "Red lead, this is Earth fighter. You can shut off your tractor beams; I got my systems back up and running."
"Earth fighter, I am shutting off the tractor beams. Follow us to base, and then we'll get a hold of Earth. Looks like you'll be our guest for a while." Cyrus shuts off the tractor beam and watched as the old fighter follows his wingman. The tiger quietly chuckles at the sight of the light blue thrust coming out of the exhaust nozzles of the F-797.
Twenty minutes later, Felinski home world base.
Diane a female anthro tiger watched as an Earth F-797 did a precision landing at the base. She chuckled at the sight of the old fighter braking to a stop, a ladder is wheeled up to it. A shot thin figure climbed out, after a tech helped the pilot disconnected stuff. Diane looked at the figure walking toward her. The pilot has the coloring of an anthro tiger, but tigers have a large build on them. He walked closer to her, and then the female tiger saw his features. "He has the body structure of a lynx, he's a hybrid." She thought to herself as the tiger studied the tuff pointed ears, the blunt muzzle and the short tail.
Kris smiled at the sight of the female tiger looking at him. She's seven feet tall with a large muscular build with a set of 42 DD's in a gray colored uniform. The tiger has dark brown head hair stopping pass her shoulders. Kris noted she has the most beautiful green eyes he ever seen. He held out his hand, she shook it. "The names Kris, from the Earth defense. I am sorry for suddenly appearing at your air space, but an hour ago I was at lunar orbit defending the earth from a squadron of renegade fighters."
The female tiger smiled at the politeness of the Earth pilot. She noted the feline has a strong grip. Diane saw that this feline has yellow colored eyes and the pupils are slitted like an anthro fox. "Well Kris, follow me to the briefing room, some personal want to talk to you. Because according to you, you were at Earth an hour ago, now you're at the Felinski home world."
Kris followed the tall female tiger and chuckled. "I understand, this incident is going to have scientists talking for a while."
"You don't know half of it Kris, right now you're technically ninety five years old." Diane thinks to herself and looks back at Kris following her out of the hanger. She directs her gaze at the Earth fighter that's gathering a crowd of personal admiring it. "Such a shame those fighters were retired and destroyed. I heard they were deadly, like you Kris. You have the coloring of a tiger, I wonder if you have a tiger's equipment between your legs." Diane looks back again at Kris noting he's wearing loose clothing. "I guess, I'll have to wait and see."
Earth defense base an hour later.
General Preston looks at the days reports and rubs his temples, the phone buzzed, he answered it. "Sir, the Felinski ambassador wants to see you." Said his assistant on the phone.
"Send him in." He said to the phone wondering of what's going on. "Maybe it's about that exercise next month."
The general is thinking when a seven foot five inch tall male anthro lion walked in. Preston stood up shaking the lion's hand. "How are you doing Karl?"
Karl sat down giving Preston a toothy grin. "Every thing is fine old friend. The reason for this visit, a fighter from Earth suddenly appeared near our planet. The fighter was intercepted and escorted to one of our bases."
Preston suddenly stiffens and sighed. "I am awfully sorry; you have the apology of Earth defense. I didn't know of any ships passing by your planet."
The lion shook his large head. "It's gets really good Preston, the Earth fighter is a F-797. The pilot is a feline with the coloring of a tiger and the build of a lynx." Karl hands over a couple of photos.
Preston examined the photos, his grandfather told him about Kris. "Yes Karl, I know about this pilot. His fighter was caught in a nuclear blast seventy years ago during a renegade attack. Kris, from what I heard was a good service member, but just don't hurt any of his friends or you'll see his lynx half. Three weeks before that mission, he was at a bar relaxing on leave. Ten burly guys started harassing a few nuggets, rookie pilots. Then one of those guys started beating one of those nuggets. Kris intervened; one of those guys punched him. My grandfather an MP, arrived at the bar seeing a police car on its side and Kris trashing the place. He shot Kris once on the stun setting on his phaser, it did nothing. My grandfather had to use the max stun setting on Kris. That setting will put a large human in a coma for a couple of days, a small human, a week. Kris was out for one hour."
Karl looked at Preston with a puzzled look. "I heard rumors that Kris is a genetically engineered feline anthro?"
Preston nodded looking at the lion. "Yes Karl he is, some higher ups back then wanted a super soldier. Those leaders like the strength of the tiger and the agility of the lynx. Ten were born, but only one lived to his first birthday. The anthros pressured our leaders to shelve that project, so we did. It was some officials from Felinski who saved Kris's life."
"What are his abilities?" Asked the lion looking at the human general.
"Keep this to yourself OK?" Karl nodded as Preston spoke. "For his small size, he's really strong. Kris is real agile and can see in pitch darkness, also his body heals fast. He's loyal and follows orders. Kris can take punches to his body due to a high pain thresh hold, if you punch him Karl, he'll just laugh at you. Plus, he has a resistance to poison and all known venoms."
The lion looked at his friend, then at the photo of Kris taken at the home world. Karl knew that his friend Preston didn't have anything to do with Kris. The personal that were responsible are now dead of old age. "Well Preston, I'll contact my government to get permission to allow a heavy cruiser to pick up your pilot and fighter."
"Karl, some times I wish some people get the message." Preston said to the lion.
"What's that old friend?" Asked the lion.
"Don't mess with mother nature." Said the general as he looked at his friend.
"You're so right Preston." Said Karl as he walked out of the general's office.
Preston looked at the photo of Kris with mixed feelings. "So Kris, you didn't buy the farm seventy years ago. For some unknown reason you went seventy years ahead in time and across the galaxy. Well, I am going to hitch a ride on a cruiser to come get you."
Felinski home world, a guest room. One day later.
Kris sat at a desk looking at a computer. He made a copy of the data of the fight data recorder to see what happen to him. The feline is studying the data from his flight data recorder when Diane walked in. Kris smiled at her, because she's one of the few felines that talked to him. The others are cold to him, due to him being a mix.
Diane walked up to him and looked over his shoulder. "What are you doing?"
Kris turns his head looking at her. "I am studying the flight data recorder from my fighter. I want to know what happen to me."
The tigress furrowed her brow. "Isn't it illegal to remove that device from your fighter?"
Kris chuckled. "I made a copy of the data, plus the recording of my gun cameras. The people that made me also made me a genius; I think the nuclear explosion caused a tear in the fabric of space and time."
Diane watched the screen; she saw a few fighters get destroyed. Then she saw a missile flying toward Earth. The tigress saw weapons fire hit the missile and it detonated, for a brief second she saw a flash of light blue. "That's it; I knew I'll figure it out." Said Kris pausing the recording.
"Kris, I got something for you." Said Diane tying a hand crafted bracelet on his right wrist, a jewel started flashing.
"What's this?" Asked Kris examining the bracelet. He noted the skill at the craftsmanship in its construction.
"A courtship bracelet, Diane is interested in you. She wants you to be her mate, if you refuse, she'll be heart broken, then you'll get banished and dumped in the middle of the great forest." Said Cyrus walking in the room.
Kris looked at the two tigers two feet taller then him; he rested his head in his hands. "Oh boy, what do I got to do next?" He said looking at Diane who's smiling at him.
Cyrus cleared his throat and grinned. "Now you have to prove yourself to her. You'll be doing three tests, one is agility, two is getting something for her father, and last one is of strength. Kris, the last test is a fight against Krom. He's the biggest and strongest of our military. If you put up a good fight and give the crowd a good show, the population will show you some respect. I heard you don't have a last name or sir-name."
"I don't, I think you know by now I am an engineered feline anthro. The personal that created me just gave me the name Kris; they never gave me a last name." Kris looks at Diane and smiles. "I accept Diane request for I to be her mate." Said Kris with a toothy smile.
Diane gave Kris a hug, the male feline felt his muzzle gets pressed on her large breasts. "All pilots scramble! A flight of renegade fighters are heading to our world." The PA blared.
Kris looked at Cyrus and Diane. "So you have the same problems as we do on Earth?"
The two tigers nodded, Kris slips on his flight suit and follows the crowd of felines. Cyrus catches up to him, grabbing his shoulder. "What are you doing?"
"Helping you guys out, even thou my fighter is old, it's still stands a chance. I studied your fighters, they just go slightly faster then mine, but my fighter is more agile." Kris continues to run to his fighter.
Cyrus had to run at his full speed to keep up with Kris. "Dam, that feline is fast." He thought to himself as he watched Kris climb into the old Earth fighter. The tiger chuckled as the fighter powered up. "The body of a lynx, but the guts of a tiger, flying an obsolete fighter in battle. If you live through this Kris, you'll earn the respect of the Felinski forces."
Twenty minutes later high orbit.
Kris grinned baring his fangs in his oxygen mask. He felt the rush of adrenaline course through his body. The feline glance at the flight of fighters heading towards the Felinski home world. "Kris, you don't need to do this. We can handle this." Said Cyrus in his headset.
"The call sign is Hybrid, just let me show you what I can do." Kris replied to Cyrus, the male tiger looked at the old fighter flying right by his.
"Hybrid, this is red lead, form on me and let's take these guys out!" Replied Cyrus, he swore he can see the grin on Kris's muzzle thru the oxygen mask.
Kris gripped his controls as he engaged a fighter that was heading to a Felinski fighter. Cyrus watched as the enemy fighter exploded, Kris then form on Cyrus's wing. The dog fight continued, Kris destroyed seven enemy fighters. After Kris destroyed the last fighter, Cyrus saw the old F-797 do a barrel roll. "That's how we did it back then." Replied Kris, with a slight hiss.
Cyrus stared at the old fighter flying right by his. There's no damage done to it, plus Kris saved three pilots lives, no Felinski fighters were lost. "Dam, what will it be like if he's placed in one of our S-2500's? Why did Earth retire the F-797's? Kris just showed us the old fighter is still deadly." Cyrus thought to himself as the squadron headed back on base.
Airbase Felinski home world.
Kris grinned as the tech disconnected his stuff. The tech gave him the thumbs up as Kris climbed down the ladder. An older male tiger walked up to him, he looked at Kris and the old fighter getting seven kills scores getting painted on the nose. "Kris, I am General Thomas Glause. I saw how you fought today above our skies, plus I know you're going to court my god daughter Diane. She seems to make a good choice, but one problem." The old tiger gets every ones attention. "All right ladies and gents, I am making an announcement here. This feline wasn't given a last name, so I am giving him the honor of using mine. He's earned my respect by flying an obsolete fighter in battle, plus he's going to be courting my best friend's daughter. So from this day forward he's going by the name of Kris T. Glause." The fighter pilots roared, Thomas whispered to Kris. "You earn the respect of the defense forces, but you got to court Diane to earn the planet's population." Kris nodded looking at the pilots giving him the thumbs up.
Heavy cruiser heading to Felinski home world. Two hours later.
Preston sat at a desk in his cabin reading paperwork. Someone knocked on his cabin door. "Enter!" He said as he read the paper work.
The ship's captain walked in handing a message to Preston. The general read it and sighed. "Johnson, when did this happen?"
"Sir, a few hours ago a squadron of renegades tried to attack the Felinski home world. An Earth F-797 defense fighter joined the Felinski forces in the skirmish. The F-797 destroyed seven enemy fighters and saved three Felinski fighters. That pilot must have industrial size balls to fly a fighter that's been obsolete for sixty years in battle." Said Johnson looking at the general.
"No, it's not that captain, he's trying to earn their respect. I also saw in the message that a female tiger wants him for a mate. I seen these courting rituals, they can be dangerous for the male." Said Preston, looking at the message.
"Can't we stop it sir?" Asked Johnson looking out a window.
"No we can't, by the time we arrive he will be doing the test of strength. Those felines are allies; we don't stick our noses in to their traditions. We'll have a talk with him after this; I think the stuff we'll be taking back to Earth is one F-797. I think Kris will be a citizen of Felinski after this. A Felinski general gave Kris his last name, so the Felinski forces already respect him." Said Preston looking at the ships captain. "Keep me up to date."
Johnson saluted and walked out. "I heard about that feline. One mean, lethal service member and he's still is. Dam, why did we retire those F-797's? They were neat looking; they looked like the old F-18 hornets from the late twentieth century."
Kris's stateroom, the next day.
"Do I have to wear this?" Kris asked Cyrus looking at the outfit he's wearing.
"Yes you do, tradition demands it. You look all right in it, don't be embarrassed." Replied Cyrus looking at the feline.
Kris sighed and looked at the outfit. It's comprised of a small vest and a male bikini bottom. "It shows too much, I am a little embarrassed."
Cyrus chuckled; he now knows that Kris is well equipped between his legs. At the bikini bottom, Cyrus saw a large bulge at Kris's groin area. "Let's go to the arena Kris, you got to do the test of agility."
Kris sighed and followed the tiger outside. He passed some of the pilots he flew with in yesterdays skirmish. They gave him thumbs up, plus a few female felines are staring at his scrotum. "Well, well, you're right Klyde. He does have industrial size balls to fly an old fighter in battle." Said a black female panther, as Kris passed her and a male lion.
The arena, a half hour later.
Diane watched as Kris walked in the arena. It's the first time she got a look of Kris's body. She saw that Kris is in good shape for his small build. The feline has almost no body fat on his body. Kris has a small muscular build on his five foot tall body. Diane studied his body as Kris did some stretching moves to get ready. Kris has a few scars on his torso, it didn't bother her. The female tiger directed her gaze to his scrotum, seeing the large bulge thru the bikini briefs. "Well, he does have a tiger's equipment between his legs." Diane thought to herself looking at Kris.
Kris looked around the arena. He saw a few familiar felines in the crowd. The male feline saw Diane in the crowd and grinned at her, and then he cleared his mind and looked near him. Kris saw that he had to do a joust on a thin platform that looked like a balance beam. He's handed a stick five feet long with padded ends.
"All right citizens, today we're having a test of agility. In the south corner from Earth, Kris T. Glause. He's the feline that stopped an attack against our home in an antique fighter. Kris is currently courting one of our citizens, but he has to get by Stan on the north side." The announcer said, the crowd is making feline sounds as a male black jaguar walked to the other side.
Stan stood seven feet tall, with a medium to large muscular build. Kris looked at him and concentrated on him. He didn't need any distractions; Kris is doing his current objective, that's to win this test.
A bell rang; Stan rushed to him swinging his weapon. "That's it, his weakness." Kris thought to himself.
Diane watched as the contest started, Kris just jumped over Stan and dodged his swings. "What's going on? How come Kris isn't trying to knock him off?"
A hand touched her shoulder, she sees her father shaking his head. "Kris is playing with Stan. Stan is young, right now he wasting his energy trying to knock Kris off the platform. Kris is using his brains and the advantage of his smaller body, he wearing Stan out."
Kris grinned and dodged another one of Stan's attacks. A while later the weapon fell out of Stan's hands. Kris dropped his, walked up to Stan's tired figure, and extended his index finger and push Stan off the platform with his right index finger.
The crowd is silent, and then a minute later it went wild. "That's what you call using your head. I am glad you picked a smart one daughter, see you tomorrow." Said Diane's father as he stood up and walked away. Diane just stared at Kris; he grinned at her, snapped a salute and walked away.
Outside the arena a couple of felines blocked Kris's path out side. "You cheated, I am a fan of Stan's, and we demand a rematch." Said one of them, glaring at Kris.
"Not going to happen, you better move or we'll move you ourselves. We owe this feline our lives, he saved us yesterday." Said a seven foot six inch tall tan Jaguar, with a couple of tigers. The two felines cleared a path allowing Kris to leave the arena.
Cruiser on the way to the Felinski home world.
Preston is at the bridge of the cruiser watching the stars streak by. A crew member whispered something to the captain, he turned on a monitor. "General, you'll want to see this." Said Johnson pointing at the screen.
The screen showed Kris on a thin platform dodging swings from a weapon handled by a tall black colored jaguar. "How come, he didn't try to knock him off?" Asked a crew member.
"Kris was using his brains; notice his opponent is rushing him without a plan. Plus how Kris is studying him before the match started. One rule of fighting, study your opponents moves. Kris's opponent was aggressive and cocky; he thought he can knock off a small feline easy. So the smaller feline taught the larger one a lesson." Replied Preston watching the match, he snickered at Kris pushing off the larger feline with his finger.
Felinski home world next day, near the great forest.
Kris stood at a clearing looking at the forest. He saw the seven foot seven inch tall figure of Cyrus walked toward him. "Well Kris, Diane's father want's you to go in and get a Scandivian flower. It's a type of flower that blooms in the early morning; it's gray and red in color." Kris is handed a picture of the flower.
"That's easy to do." Replied Kris, with a smirk.
"No it isn't, the wild life is dangerous in this forest. That flower has poisonous reptiles near it." Said Cyrus looking at Kris.
Kris sighed and went inside the forest; Cyrus followed him inside the forest. "So, on this test, I am allowed a friend to accompany me?"
Cyrus chuckled and looked at Kris. "I am a witness for this test; yes I count you as a friend. One thing I am going to say is be good to my baby sister."
Kris looked at the tall tiger. "You have my word on that. She's hot, I expected some one like her to already mated to some one."
Cyrus laughed, looking at Kris. "She's picky, my sister finds you interesting. You're unique, plus you're a warrior."
"I am a genetically engineered feline; I was going to be part of a group of super soldiers. I had nine brothers and sisters, something went wrong, they died six months after they were born, the group was going to eliminate me, but your government intervened. I was raised on an air base and became a fighter pilot. As for the warrior part of me, I count myself as one. I fight to keep the peace in the universe." Kris said looking at the foliage.
Cyrus looked at the feline. "Yes my little sister, you chose a unique one. I like him, he has a good heart." The tiger thought to himself.
Later on, the felines approached a clearing. Cyrus saw a pile of feces; he examined it and poked it with a very thin stick. "Zendar lizard, the only reptile that's our one and only natural enemy. It must be near by, because this pile is still very soft." There's a thumping sound as a thirty foot dark gray lizard came out of the trees knocking Cyrus down. The lizard is dark gray on top and a lighter gray on the underside. The lizard has medium gray colored eyes and five inch long sharp teeth, heading toward Cyrus.
Cyrus is trying to keep himself conscious and trying to grab his weapon, he heard a strange feline scream. The tiger saw Kris baring his teeth with his ears laid back. Kris unsheathed his claws and leaped on to the lizard. Cyrus watched as Kris started tear chunks of flesh out the large lizard. Kris is at the base of the neck where no limbs can knock him off. The lizard went to lie on its back to crush Kris, but the feline leaped off and went for the throat. The fight went on for a few more minutes. Then the Zendar lizard collapsed dead from the loss of blood. Cyrus looked at Kris who's covered in blood. The feline walked to the mouth and pulled out four teeth and grabbed a chunk of flesh and started to eat it.
"That's disgusting Kris." Said Cyrus standing up looking at the blood drenched feline chewing on a piece of lizard flesh.
"Mmm good, tastes like chicken, you should try it." Laughed Kris handing a piece to Cyrus.
"No thank you, why did you pull out four of that lizard teeth?" Asked Cyrus, watching Kris threads a piece of thick string through one he was boring a hole through.
Kris grinned putting a necklace around his neck with the tooth. "I am giving them to my closest friends." He gave Cyrus a tooth.
Cyrus examined the tooth feeling its sharpness. "Thank you Kris, who are you giving the other two to?"
"It's a surprise." Said Kris looking around. "Why is it so quiet now?"
"You killed a Zendar lizard, the other wild life is afraid of you. They don't want you to find them." Said Cyrus examining the area. "Lets sleep here, there are flower bulbs here." Said the tiger pointing at some plants.
The two felines took turns standing watch during the night. The night went uneventful; the time was spent talking to each other. Kris told Cyrus of his life growing up and how he got the scars on his body from defending a group of rookie pilots.
The next morning clearing, sunrise.
Kris and Cyrus watched as the flowers bloomed. Kris started to pick a few, Cyrus pointed to a light green snake slithering around. "Watch it Kris, that a green mamba, a poisonous one."
Kris picked the flowers and handed them to Cyrus, who put them in a container. A snake went to bite Cyrus, but Kris stuck a limb out to get bitten himself. "You're crazy Kris; I stand a better chance of surviving a bite better than you." Said Cyrus killing the snake. "What the hell?"
Kris is up and walking back to the forest entry. The tiger caught up to Kris who's walking like nothing happen to him. Cyrus kept pace with Kris wondering what's going on. A regular feline will be on the ground very sick, but Kris is still healthy. A minute later, Kris threw up white foam and continues to walk. "Don't touch that foam Cyrus, that's the snakes' venom. I have a resistance to all venoms and poisons, after I get bit, I puke out the venom." Said Kris as he continued to walk.
Later at the clearing.
Diane and her father watched as two male felines walked out of the forest. She gasped at the site of Kris with dried blood on his fur. The tigress looked at the necklace around Kris's neck. "Dad, he killed a zendar lizard."
Her father chuckled as Kris gave the older male tiger the flowers and a tooth. Diane's father fingered the tooth and put it in his pocket. "You did good Kris, my daughter has chosen well." He showed Kris another tooth he got when he killed a zendar lizard a long time ago. "Kris, my name is Draksen, you impressed me. My advice is watch Krom very carefully, he may be huge and he's very smart." The older tiger shakes Kris's hand, they walked back to town.
The population just stared at Kris when he walked back to town, they gasped when they saw the tooth hanging around Kris's neck, a few lynx's smiled and gave Kris the thumbs up. The reception at the base was different; the pilots were quiet when Kris walked to his stateroom to clean himself off. The pilots just stared at the tooth hanging around Kris's neck.
Cruiser, twelve hours from the Felinski home world.
"He did what!?" Asked Preston, looking at Johnson.
"Sir, he killed a zendar lizard with no weapon, just his claws. Now he's walking around with a tooth hanging around his neck." Said Johnson looking at the general who has a smirk on his face.
"The zendar lizard is the only predator the felines have. The lynx breed has this habit of wearing the teeth of the ones they kill. Kris is half lynx, his father was a lynx." Said Preston looking at a recent photo of Kris.
"Must have been a small one." Said Johnson, looking at the photo.
Preston took out an old ruler and did a measurement. "Nope, that tooth is five inches long. That lizard was an adult, thirty feet long. That's why the public is quiet around him, now their going to wait to see what happens during the test of strength."
The arena, next day.
The place is packed; Kris looked at the felines in the crowd. He also saw some humans and canine anthros. The feline started his stretching exercising, to get his body ready. Kris studied some of Krom's fights to find a pattern of his techniques. Krom changes his patterns all the time to make him unpredictable, so Kris has to keep himself on guard at all times. He saw Krom enter the arena.
Krom is a huge feline; the tiger is seven feet ten inches tall. The giant feline makes Kris look like a kitten. Krom has his blonde head hair trimmed very short. The official gestures the two fighters to the center.
Kris walked to the official; the male lion looked at Kris and shook his head. Krom walked up to Kris and roared loud at Kris's muzzle.
Krom looked at Kris who didn't blink or flinched. "Finally an opponent with guts." He thought to himself, the tiger looked at the tooth hanging from Kris's neck. "I better watch this one, he killed a zendar lizard."
"All right, the rule is, the test is over when one of you guys is unconscious on the ground. No biting or using of claws, any of those uses is an automatic disqualification." The official said to the two felines.
Preston sat next to Johnson, the human looked at Diane. He noted that she's cute for an anthro female tiger. The human looked at the arena, he saw the fight begin. "This is going to be interesting." Said Johnson as the two felines started the fight.
Kris ducked to avoid a swing from Krom; he leaped to dodge the tiger's thick tail. "Whoa, that's different, didn't expect that." He thought to himself as he dodged Kroms attacks.
Diane sat and watched the fight; she turned and saw an older gray hair human male watching the fight. The tigress also saw a younger blonde hair human male sitting next to him. Diane saw they are wearing military uniforms of the Earth defense. "I was told that some personal from Earth want to talk to Kris." She thought to herself, and then turned to watch the fight.
Preston grinned when Kris slid under between Krom's legs to avoid a blow. Kris stood behind Krom and delivers a blow from behind. The crowd yelled louder, felines roared, canines howled and humans yelled.
Forty minutes later, the two combatants are tired. Kris's body is battered and bruised. He looked at Krom, the large feline is tired, and his large arms are hanging to his sides. Krom ran at Kris, who dodged him. The large feline fell to the ground unconscious at the same time as Kris. As blackness claimed him, Kris heard the crowd go nuts.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this fight is a draw due to the opponents hitting the ground at the same time. Looks like they were evenly matched, I must admit, that was one hell of a fight." The announcer said to the crowd.
Diane walked to the arena to check on Kris. There is personal checking the two felines. She watched as Kris stood up and grin at her. A large hand went on Kris's shoulder; he turned around and saw Krom. The large feline grinned at Kris. "You're one lethal feline, you are one of us. I count you as friend Kris." Kris shook Krom's hand, the crowd went nuts.
"Come Kris; let me take you to your new home." Diane said as she grabbed Kris's hand.
Preston walked up to Kris extending his hand. "1st LT Gaulse, I am general Preston of Earth defense. Is it possible to talk to you?"
Kris looked at the general and at Diane, who's looking at him. "Yes, can it wait till tomorrow?" The feline looks again at the general. "You look like some one, I ran across a while back."
Preston laughed. "My grandfather arrested you when you destroyed that bar. He told me all about you. My grandfather had a lot of respect for you, because you stood up for those nuggets while every one else got drunk. He didn't want to arrest you, but it was either him or the police. Kris, there is no problem of us talking tomorrow, I'll see you then."
Kris shook the generals' hand. "See you tomorrow sir, just for your information, I would do that again sir, sticking up for the new guys. We tech them our skills, because you never know, they might be the ones saving you from an enemy fighter on your tail." He walks off holding Diane's hand.
Preston grinned watching Kris walk away. He heard a clapping from three people, Johnson, Cyrus and Krom are applauding. Krom looked down at Preston. "What are you going to do?"
The general looked at the feline almost eight feet tall. "Just want to talk about to see if it's possible for him to go to Earth twice a year for two weeks teaching new pilots."
Cyrus and Krom talked to each other for a minute, Cyrus looked at Preston. "He might do it; I don't see any problems with it."
Later at Diane's house.
Kris looked at the place Diane is living at; it's a nice cozy place. He remembered how upset some of the pilots were when he packed to leave his stateroom; a few females were also upset about him leaving.
Diane led Kris to her room and undressed, he looked at her muscular body with the firm breasts. Kris removed the outfit he was wearing during the courtship. Diane grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom. "You must have dried sweat on your skin from that fight. I had a rough day today, not as bad as yours. Let's take a shower together." She said as they went in the large shower.
Kris felt the stream of water on him as Diane ran her hands thru his black head hair. She had his muzzle resting on her large breasts as she worked the soap in his hair. He felt at peace feeling her hands massaging his head, his body relaxed.
Diane felt a vibration from Kris's neck area thru her breasts. "He's purring." She thought to herself, and then she felt something against her leg. Diane looked down seeing Kris's large penis unsheathed. She chuckled and continued to clean Kris. "Yes, good things do come in small packages." Diane gave Kris a kiss and had him clean her.
Kris cleaned Diane's tall muscular body; he worked the soap in her fur. He got to the vaginal area taking his time.
Diane sighed and relaxed feeling Kris's hands on her body, the tigress closed her eyes. She felt Kris's hands on her ass, and then she felt a rough tongue enter her. Diane open her eyes, looked down seeing Kris's muzzle at her vaginal area. She rested against the wall as a wave of pleasure went thru her body. Diane moaned at the feeling of the rough wet tongue rubbing that sensitive area inside her. She gasped as that area got wetter. A while later she orgasmed, then she felt Kris's muzzle rubbed the area as if he's trying to get every last drop. He looked up to her and grinned.
Kris is lead to the bed, Diane lay on her back. She looked at Kris's long thick penis, then he climbed on to the bed, he gave her a kiss, backed away and then she felt his penis enter her. The tigress looked at Kris's grin as she felt him reciprocate inside her, she felt him lick her large two and half inch areolas, then suck on her breasts. Diane felt his lean muscled body as he had sexual intercourse with her.
He looked at the muscular tigress as he made love to her. Kris ran his hands all over her body, as he felt the warm wetness on his penis. He fondled her firm large breasts and sucked on them. Diane moaned and her body twitched as she orgasmed. Kris felt the fluid on his scrotum. A while later he felt a build up inside him, then he ejaculate inside her.
Diane felt a large amount of fluid splash inside her, plus hearing Kris yell. He rested his muzzle on her breasts and fell a sleep. She stroked his hair looking at his lynx features, the short blunt muzzle and the black pointed ears with tuffs. Diane stroked one and it flipped away from her touch. She giggled quietly not to disturb his sleep. Diane looked around and sighed, she looked at the male feline sleeping on her breasts. Then she felt his penis exiting her, to sheathe itself. "Dam, it felt good inside me. Oh well, I'll have to wait till next time." She thought to herself as she fell asleep.
The next day at a Felinski airbase.
Kris and Diane watched as an F-797 took off from the base. Kris sighed as the fighter disappeared into the clouds. Diane touched his shoulder. "What's going to happen to it?" She asked looking into the sky.
"They're going to keep it airworthy; it's one of a kind, like me. Earth defense is going to keep it at their museum on base and fly it once in a while for the public. The other three are just pieced together from pieces when the fighters were scrapped." Said Kris looking at a piece of sky where the fighter disappeared.
Diane looked at him with serious look. "My brother told me about what Preston wants you to do for them; I'll support you if you say yes to that offer. I won't mind the occasional trip to Earth."
Kris grinned at Diane. "I was thinking about saying yes, plus the Felinski defense forces want me to join them to, I think I'll mange this schedule." They walked together holding hands, heading back to Diane's house.
Epilogue, twenty years later, defense forces museum.
An elderly Preston walked looking at the different craft parked inside. He made his way to an F-797 fighter. The human chuckled at the plaque saying that's its still airworthy. The CO of the place walked up to him snapping a salute. "Sir, we have a cadet from the Felinski home world I think you want to meet. She'll be here in a minute, she's in the restroom."
"I am retired, don't salute me or call me sir. So a cadet wants to see me huh, what story did you tell her?" Said Preston seeing a five foot tall thin build feline walking toward them. "Come on, that's Kris, what joke are you playing on me?"
"That's his daughter sir, she heard you were here and wanted to see you, she hasn't seen you in ten years since you retired." Said the CO of the base looking at the feline.
Preston looked at the feline. She's a female version of his friend Kris. The feline has the tiger stripe coloring and the small build of a lynx. Preston looked at her blunt muzzle tufted pointed ears and long black head hair. He saw that she has a 36 D cup breast size with a nice cleavage, with a tooth of a zendar lizard resting on her breasts fasten on a string. "Well it's been a while uh?" Preston started.
"Laura." Said the feline.
"Laura, did you?" He asked pointing at the tooth.
She laughed shaking her head. "No I didn't, when my father killed that lizard, he removed four teeth. One he kept, the second to my grandfather, the third to my uncle and the last one he gave to his first born." Laura said looking at Preston with dark green slitted eyes. "I thought we have a little talk for a while."
"Won't mind it one bit, how's your father doing? I haven't seen him in years." Said Preston looking at the old fighter.
"He's doing great, maybe you should swing by and see him one day." Said Laura looking at the old fighter. "So, my dad flew that fighter. I heard from the population that my dad flew it in a skirmish even though they been out of service for a long time."
"That he did, even though he's rough, your father cares for the public." Said Preston looking at the young feline. "I just might go see him soon, I miss talking to him."
"He will be thrilled to see you." Said Laura as they started to talk to each other. The two humans and the feline walked to the cafeteria to catch up on events.
THE END
I thought I try making felines the main anthros in this story. I can't think of a sequel, to me they are hard to write. I am thinking of writing a prequel, a medium size story of Kris growing up on that airbase, chances are better of that story than a sequel. Well I hope you guys and gals liked it. Raven Fox:)
