Chapter 4 House meeting

After school Luke was riding with Flamedramon followed by the others back to the house. Once they stepped inside instantly Runix spoke "everyone, house meeting in 30 minutes" Luke sighed and walked with Flamedramon to their room. When they got in there Flamedramon flicked on the lights and sat on his bed "I wonder what this house meetings about, normally we don't have one unless it's important" Luke nodded and tried to look innocent "I don't know could be anything, maybe the bills are too high?" Flamedramon gave him a questioning look "we don't pay for bills, our government pays for that" Luke shrugged "maybe it has something to do with bathroom rules?" Flamedramon shook his head "no way we made it clear that it's no rules for the bathrooms" Flamedramon stared at him again "you know something don't you?" Luke started to falter "no, no I'm ....just as clueless as you, for all I know it could be anything" Flamedramon got off the bed and started to advance towards him until he was staring face to face with him "hide the truth all you want human, in about 20 minutes I'll know everything" Flamedramon simply walked away and Luke walked out of the room, deciding he didn't want to be subject to Flamedramons questioning, he decided to just walk around the house, realizing he hasn't done that yet. He started walking down the hallway. Walking by the living room and waving hi to mike who was watching sports. He started walking absent mindedly until he realized he was standing in front of a door. He opened the door and stood there in shock. The room was filled with wires and computers and many other things he couldn't even recognize. He slowly walked in and saw what appeared to be a control panel. He slowly reached for it before hearing a voice "what do you thhhhink you're doing in here Luke?" Luke whipped around and saw Gerin standing there, his coils filling a pretty good space in the room. Luke looked at him "wh-what is this place?" Gerin smiled and slithered over to him "this is our escape pod, if we ever get into any trouble or we need to evacuate and get off earth we just use this to fly out of here" Luke stared at him flabbergasted "wait, wait, wait, you guys can DRIVE this thing?!" Gerin gave a weird chuckle and hiss "no only me and Runix can, we learned the basics on how to drive these back home" Luke stared around the room with awe "it's so high-tech it's amazing" Gerin smiled "yeah well it has to be for space, but we need to get of here now the house meeting is about to start" Luke had forgotten about the meeting and sighed. He walked with Gerin to the living room just as the others were coming in. They all sat on the couches except for Runix who stood in the middle of them. Once everyone was seated he began "everyone, I've noticed a severe problem today that absolutely has to be addressed" everyone leaned in and were intrigued by this. "apparently the school jock Denith and his friends have started to bully Luke, they tried to make him pay money for protection and threatened to beat him if he didn't, I found this out when I saw Denith about to punch Luke in the showers for not having enough money" Everyone gasped and looked at Luke, who tried to sink into the couch and hide from their shocked gazes. The only one that didn't have a look of shock was Flamedramon who had a fire in his eyes that matched the flames on his armor "he did what?!?!" Runix continued talking ignoring Flamedramons outrage "I think that now Luke should have one of us by his side at all times, also we should be on the lookout ourselves for Denith and his group, knowing Denith he'd want to get us all somehow" Everyone got a worried loom realizing this as well "I suggest we do a buddy system, each of us will be walking with one another between classes and also during other outside classroom things as well" Everyone nodded to this and agreed to use the buddy system. Runix continued to talk about possible ways to watch out for Denith, but Luke wasn't paying attention to it all. He started to think about what Runix said "-also we should be on the lookout ourselves knowing Denith" I've endangered them he thought to himself I put them all at risk just because I couldn't handle a bully, what if one of them gets hurt? I'd never be able to live with myself, I wish Runix wasn't there, I wish I could've just taken the few punches and gave him the money later on. But now I've got to worry about all of them now. Dammit why did this have to happen?!?! "Luke, Hey Luke you listening?" Luke's thoughts were interrupted by Runix who was staring at him as was everyone else. He held back the tears from his thoughts "uh i-im sorry Runix what did you say?" Runix repeated to Luke "If you want to Luke we could report this and try and make it so that the teachers know to and could keep an eye out for this" Luke shook his head immediately "no, I don't want to do that, if I did that rumors would spread and id just get another bully coming after me for being afraid" Runix looked at him nodded "that does make sense, but like I said from now on we stick together and make sure no one is left behind" they all nodded one last time "Luke we promise you, that Denith will never lay a paw on you again, without feeling all of our wrath" Luke felt a tear slide down his cheek, seeing all the determined faces of his friends staring at him, promising to protect. "thank you....thank all of you, if it wasn't for you guys....with your kindness, generosity, and care I'd still be in that hotel, all alone with no one, you guys don't know how grateful I am for you" Luke couldn't hold back and started to softly cry, letting his emotions flow out of him, he felt every bit of worry, every bit of sadness disappear for those few moments. He suddenly felt something surround him and looked around and saw that everyone as hugging him, comforting and rubbing his back while he cried. Gering had wrapped himself loosely around Luke's leg and had wrapped a bit around his neck, resting his head on his shoulder and hugging him from behind with his arms. Luke smiled and started to wipe away his tears, thanking everyone for the hugs and love. They all said it was no problem and once everything had settled Tyranitar said the word that got everyone's attention "so, what's for dinner?"

Flamedramon and Luke walked back to their room after dinner was over "man that pizza was amazing!" exclaimed Flamedramon. Luke nodded "yeah that pizza was really good" he replied as he walked to the room. When Flamedramon got in he started to strip off his armor while Luke stripped down to his boxers, realizing that after Flamedramon hugged him earlier today butt naked he could live with walking around in front of him with boxers. When Luke was done stripping he went over to the futon but was pulled back by a pair of scaly hands. "h-hey Flamedramon what are you doing?" Flamedramon smiled "I don't want you to sleep on that hard futon anymore, from now on until you get an actual bed you're sleeping with me" Luke blushed and squirmed "but I don't want to! That's totally to close!" Flamedramon smiled at him "if I remember your my lackey and will do my bidding now I say that you will sleep in my bed or else" Luke tried to think up of something to get out but was at a loss for words and sighed in defeat "alright fine....but nothing funny!" Flamedramon smiled and twirled him when they reached the bed and made him face him "whatever you say cutie, now get in the bed" Luke blushed harder and slipped underneath the comfy beds blankets, snuggling into the side of the bed before feeling Flamedramons cool body press against his back side, he blushed and felt Flamedramons wrap his arms around him and felt a bit nervous. He felt Flamedramon lay his head on him and whisper to his ear "I'll make sure nothing bad happens to you ever again" Luke's heart fluttered and he subconsciously leaned back into Flamedramon, snuggling into his cool scales and smiling contentedly. Luke soon fell asleep and dreamt of him, and Flamedramon, and the others all laughing and doing some sort of fun activity. Luke decided that night that he never slept better.
