God's Gift In the Trees
God's Gift in the Trees
By: Silverback Christianpaw
The forest was looking ever so greener by the day as a silver wolf named Zero walked around looking for someone, he just didn't know who. The forest was full of healthy trees and bushes full of delicious berries. He panted a little as he walked around and around. He started sweating and his tongue was hanging out, he was very thirsty.
He found the nearest lake and knelled down before it and took a drink but couldn't help but whine. He felt so alone being all by himself. He'd been searching for a companion, but haven't found him yet. He sat down under a tree in the shade as he caught his breath and cooled down. Zero had a tear in his eye but looked up at the sun shining on him and giving him warmth that made him feel a little better. He put his paws together and bowed his head,
"Dear God, I ask you, I beg of you, please, I feel so alone. I know you are always with me and I love you too, but I need somebody; somebody to travel the lands with, someone to love, but I just don't know where to turn or what else to do. Please God, I need your help, please help me."
God said to him, "Keep looking, look for one of my big trees, I have sent someone for you that will show love in his actions instead of his words."
Zero's eyes opened up and he looked around quickly. The trees all still looked the same to him but he had to keep looking. He stood up and feverishly searched around each and every tree, but no one was there. That was until he noticed one tree in particular stood out, There was much space around it with beautiful green and yellow grass growing. The tree was much taller and stronger than all the others.
The grass tickled Zero's feet as he ran up to the big tree and just like God said, there he was. A blue wolf was sleeping peacefully under the tree in the shade. Zero's tail wagged fast as he knelled down next to the sleeping wolf.
He had a cute little snore and a nice tubby belly that was covered with a bright patch of white fur. He was a little shorter than Zero but not by much. Zero sniffed the wolf's ears, the aroma of his scent was pleasing to him and made his smile grow even wider. He put his ear to the blue wolf's heart, it was beating at a nice and steady pace.
Zero put his paws together again as he talked to God, "Oh thank you God so much, I promise to love him for all of my days and I hope that he will love me just the same."
God said to him, "Don't worry, Silverback will."
"Thank you, and thank you for your son Jesus, amen."
Zero couldn't wait any longer as he gently laid on top of the blue wolf's big belly. His body bounced a little as Silverback's belly rose and fell with every breath as he slept. Zero smiled and licked the wolf's face.
Silverback's blue eyes opened up as he looked at who was laying on him. He panted for a second in shock but then it grew to a look to warmth as he smiled.
"Hai," Zero said, his tail wagged fast. Silverback just smiled as his tail started wagging as well with his.
"How are you? My name is Zero." Silverback just kept smiling at him and started licking Zero's nose. Zero giggled, "Hehe, and you are Silverback, right?" The blue wolf hugged him happily as his tongue hung out.
Zero said, "Hehe oh yeah, God said you were loving in your actions and not in your words, I guess this is what he meant."
Silverback held the back of Zero's head and pulled him into a luscious long-lasting kiss. His tongue swirled around Zero's as he sank into Silverback's plushy belly and moaned. They unlocked the kiss with a little lip smack and both looked at each other. Zero's heart was beating fast and he was sure that Silverback's was too.
"Here," Zero stood up and held out his paw for him, Silverback took it as Zero pulled him back to his feet. "Let me show you what kind of fruit we have around here."
Silverback smiled and said, "Okay."
