A Daring 'Rescue'

Just a little short story that came to my mind.
A dragon uses a woman's unfortunate situation to his advantage.
Enjoy!
A Daring 'Rescue' - Macabre Dragon
Water lapping at the broken piece of board underneath her, Faile slowly opened her eyes. Dizzy and disoriented, she tried to take in a breath but only managed to accidentally swallow water as her head was struck by an oncoming wave. Forced into awareness by the onslaught of water, Faile pulled herself over the wood, hacking and spitting out the taste of salt water and squinting her eyes to clear them.
After a few moments of furious coughing, Faile relaxed, letting herself sink down onto the wooden board once again. Still unsure of where she was, Faile looked around, taking in her surroundings and trying to remember what had happened.
There wasn't much to see, as surrounding her on all sides was the vast, blue expanse of the ocean, with no landmarks or even a single boat in sight. The piece of debris she clung onto was nothing more then a small, wooden plank. Though the midday sun shone high in the sky, Faile began to shiver as the frigid waters washed over her body.
Letting out a small whimper and pulling her body close together for warmth, Faile tried to remember who she had gotten into this mess. The dress she wore was soaked to the curves of her body, matting against her skin and weighing her down. She knew that she'd been on a cruise, that much Faile recalled; but the details that led to her being stranded remained fuzzy. She remember drinking with all her friends in the lounge of the cruise they were on, but what day was it? Their second day? Yes, second day on the boat, and they decided to celebrate the evening with casual drinking.
Reaching out of the water to tough her head, Faile grimaced in pain as she felt a lump on her forehead. Apparently the drinking hadn't been so casual. The last thing she could remember was going out onto the deck, possibly to get some air, or maybe even throw up: Faile wasn't sure. She remembered huddling over the side of the boat, before a decisively large rock of the boat must've tilted her overboard.
I didn't have THAT much, Faile thought. How could I have been so clumsy? Did I get pushed? She stared down at the broken board beneath her. Studying it further, she realised that it wasn't a plank of wood, but rather the top half of a surf board. The logo of the cruise was stamped on its nose. Did it break as she grasped onto it for balance? What a pathetically fragile piece of board.
Actually, maybe I didn't just fall, Faile thought, gripping the board underneath her. There's no way I fell all by myself.
Regardless of how it happened, it didn't matter now: she was in trouble.
She was lucky to be alive; extremely lucky: her unconsciousness could've easily drowned her. It still didn't all make sense to her, but the hopelessness of her situation was a clear, immediate danger that she could focus on. The cruise had been close to the shoreline, and one of her friends must've noted her absence by now.
Pulling the board underneath her again, Faile rested her shoulders and gently bobbed up and down with the surface of the water. She prayed that someone would find her soon. _________________________________________________________________
Skimming over the top of the waves, leaving a large wake as his massive body propelled through the ocean waters, the black dragon Mhyrdal was on the hunt. Although this particular dragon had a taste for more exotic prey, his ravenous hunger had driven him to the ocean to search for morsels in the deep, ocean water.
Water glistened along his scaly hide in the noon-day sun as water jumped out of his way, small clouds of mist tickling the underside of his throat. The majority of the large reptile's scales were midnight black, with a few stripes and an underbelly colored a dark green. Two long, pointy horns protruded out of the back of his forehead, with a set of smaller, cone shaped spikes jutting out from his cheek bones. His long, pearly-white teeth shone as Mhyrdal held his cavernous maw open, breathing heavily with the effort of swimming. Looking down with his bright yellow eyes, the dragon noticed a school of fish one hundred years beneath him.
Closing his mouth, Mhyrdal dived down into the water, his massive body ploughing through the ocean's undercurrents as he streaked towards the school of fish. Jaws agape, Mhyrdal managed to capture the majority of them in his mouth, closing them shut around the helpless animals. He tasted them for only a moment, using his thick tongue to swirl their struggling forms around his mouth before giving a quick swallow, sending them all down in his neck.
His hunger not yet satisfied, Mhyrdal continued to swim foreword, staying under the water for now. He could sense some of the larger creatures of the ocean retreating from his presence, to which he felt a small glint of amusement. They were wise to fear him.
The dragon was almost about to change course when a small form caught his attention on the surface a small distance in front of him. Fixating on the object, Mhyrdal swam closer to get a better look, eyes narrowing and mouth watering when he realized what it was.
It seems that a poor human woman had been stranded on the ocean. Mhyrdal could tell she was still alive as she occasionally kicked to keep herself upright. Even from this distance the dragon could see the goose bumps on the human's skin, and the flowing bottom of the girl's dress as the ocean pressed it up against her body.
She must be in need of some company, the dragon chuckled to himself. What luck to find a lone human out here! It must be my lucky day.
Just as he was preparing to launch himself at the woman above him, an idea came to his head. It seemed ridiculous at first, but the though of it actually working gave the dragon pause. There was the possibility of the ruse he had in mind not working, but given the circumstances, with a proper mannerism it would most definitely work. And besides, he could always just eat her unwillingly if he failed. .
Slowing his pace, the dragon casually floated to the surface, smiling the whole way. This was going to be fun.

Faile had been closing her eyes when the dragon rose out of the depths of the ocean in front of her. The waves created by his massive bulk rocked the board she clung onto as she stared up at the massive reptile in horror. Of all the creatures you could run into in the middle of an ocean, nothing compares to the sudden appearance of a hungry looking black dragon. Screaming in terror, Faile turned and began paddling away as fast as she could.
Rolling his eyes, the Mhyrdal regarded the woman in the water. His appearance had scared her, as he knew it would, and now she was hopelessly trying to get away from him, the weight of her waterlogged dress holding her down. Regardless of the human's fear and stupidity, in order for his plan to work, the dragon needed to be polite. Mhyrdal cleared his throat, a soft rumble in the back of his mouth before saying, "Hello there, are you in trouble."
Still frantically paddling, Faile hadn't heard the dragon speak. Feeling the weight of her dress hurt her progress, she quickly tugged at the string at her back, untying the lace and pulling the straps down off her shoulders. Kicking the gown off at her feet, Faile continued to swim, already exhausted from her brief exertion.
Mhyrdal smirked at the human taking off her dress, staring at her naked body. Well, at least that's a start...the dragon mused. With a short pump of his legs, the black dragon swam around Faile to move in front of her again, demonstrating the futility of her escape with the obvious superiority of his movement.
Stopping where she was, Faile screamed once again, staring up at the intimidating beast in front of her.
Mhyrdal sighed. "Please...Please, hey! Stop it!" He growled, snapping his jaws together with a loud clack.
With that, the woman stopped screaming. Though her countenance still radiated with fear, at least she was silent.
"That's better," the dragon huffed, "you have no idea how annoying that is." Still bobbing up and down on the waves, the human continued to stare, too frightened to move or utter a single syllable. "As I was saying," Mhyrdal continued, "I simply wanted to have a nice little chat about your predicament here. Are you cold?"
Shivering, Faile managed to stutter, "N-nnnn...no..." "Ha!" The dragon laughed, scaring the woman once again and causing her to shreik, "you are a terrible liar!"
Frightened into action, Faile turned and tried swimming away once again. "No, please, go away!" She said. Paddling once again before another series of vicious coughing caused her to stop and bend over, hacking into the water.
Expressing mock concern, Mhyrdal swam around her again. "You don't seem to have things very well in hand now do you?" He chided, "If you want, you can rest for a minute on my tail: my body is quite warm I'll have you know." Mhyrdal swam over to the side, lifting his tail to the surface right next to her. He didn't really care about the human's well-being: he was going to eat her after all. Running into a human like this was very rare however, and Mhyrdal was going to make the best of it.
Still not moving from her board, Faile wiped her mouth with the back of her arm, spitting the taste of salt water from her mouth. The middle of the reptilian tail floated an arms reach away from her and was about the size of a large log. The spines on its back glistened, and the black scales of it skin glowed in the sunlight, causing Faile to squint. Reaching out, Faile pushed away from the dragon's tail, her hand only touching it for a moment before she tried swimming again. Despite the briefness of her touch, Faile did notice the warmth that spread up her hand before it disappeared as she plunged in back into the ocean.
Paddling backwards and keeping his tail right next to her, Mhyrdal sighed. "I only want to help you human, I've no wish to do anything else," the dragon lied, keeping his face happy and sincere.
Ceasing her paddling, Faile floated in the water, shivering and coughing once more as water crept onto the back of her neck. Looking over at the thick tail of the beast once again, Faile put out her hand. The tail was warm to the touch, and erased the unpleasantness of the cold of the cold waters around her. Without a second though, Faile let go of the board she had held onto and grasped the dragon's tail, using her left hand to hold onto a spine while pulling her chest close to the scaly skin.
Glancing back at the human on his tail, Mhyrdal said, "See? Not so frightening is it? Actually quite pleasant no?"
Faile was still shocked at being in the presence of this monster of legend, but she finally managed to find her voice through her fear. "Um...thank you."
"You're welcome," the dragon said, smiling at her. "As I said, I only want to help."
Running her hands up and down the dragon's scales, Faile found that they were actually quite smooth. They were firm under her hand, but strangely comforting. Faile found herself relaxing a little bit. If the dragon had wanted to eat her, it would've done so already. And besides, the tail was helping her a great deal by lifting her out of the water and keeping the heat at bay. "So...you said you wanted to help?"
"O yes, certainly," the dragon grinned, showing off his sharp white teeth.
Shuddering at the sight of the predator's teeth, Faile gulped, trying her best to keep her fear in check. "So...um, can you take me to...land?"
The dragon feigned a look of confusion. "Land?" He said, "Any sort of land is days, maybe even weeks away for a creature such as myself. That wouldn't be helping you, no, that's not exactly what I meant."
Gripping the dragon's tail, Faile paused, unsure of what the dragon could've possibly meant by helping if not that. "W-what do you mean?" Faile said, a slight shiver causing her to stutter.
"Well, you seem very cold, and I mentioned that I'm very warm, as you can tell," Mhyrdal said, motioning towards his thick tail. "I can keep you warm," the dragon continued, licking his scaled lips, "I would actually enjoy it."
Faile gasped, her fear stabbing back into her and causing her heart to jump in her chest. This dragon meant to eat her! Pushing away from the tail, Faile paddled backwards away from the dragon. "No...No! Stay away!" She screamed, the cold rushing back to her as she distanced herself. "Y-y-your, not going to h-h-help me at all!"
Turning back around, the dragon slid through the waters towards her. "It may seem like that now human, but what chance do you think you honestly have? Out here. All alone." The dragon punctuated his statement by opening his jaws and breathing hot air over Faile.
Faile flinch and gave a soft shriek as the jaws opened in front of her. Most of the maw remained cast in shadow but she could still see the fleshy tip of the dragon's tongue, which slid out of his mouth as he breathed on her. For a brief moment, Faile felt the frigid temperature of the ocean leave her, and although the breath of the beast was dense and foul, she found it slightly appealing.
"I want you to accept your fate human," Mhyrdal mused. "I will help you yes, but only if you want me too. I will let you become one with me: a creature of legend. Dragons such as me don't suffer the slow decay of time."
Craning his head up to the sky, Mhyrdal continued to speak, saying "I am eternal, human. If you wish, you can become part of that journey with me, and I promise to make the experience enjoyable; however, if you refuse I will leave you alone, and your body will descend to the bottom of the ocean to be feasted upon by earth's lesser creatures."
Faile felt a tear run down her cheek as she listened to the dragon talk. He was magnificent beast, truly something out of legend, but she didn't want to die. Not here, not now; there had to be a way to escape!
"No...no, I don't want that," Faile said, treading water in front of the dragon. She didn't believe that the monster would actually leave her alone, but she wasn't above to go willingly into the maw of this creature. She would fight and survive.
Rolling his scaled hide in what Faile could only guess to be a shrug, Mhyrdal nodded his head. "Very well human," he said, "you have decided your fate." After that, the dragon sunk down through the surface of the ocean, disappearing into its depths.

For a moment, Fail thought the beast was going to attack her anyway. Terror enveloped her as she frantically paddled left and right, looking into the water for any sign that the dragon was going to rise up from underneath her. In her state of panic, every dark shape that moved in the water carried the outline of the dragon, jaws agape, streaming towards her from far below. For several moments, Faile could do nothing by cry and hope that the beast was honest in his intentions.
Far below the surface of the ocean outside of the human's view, Mhyrdal waited. He had no intention of leaving without eating her, but this was all part of the plan. He smiled underwater as he watched her flail about on the surface. Soon he would know if he had willing prey. Soon.
After a few moments, Faile stopped moving and simply floated. The stillness of the waves around her gave no indication of a coming attack, and too much time had passed. She was alone again. Amazingly enough, the dragon had seemed to keep his word. Sighing with relief, Faile started looking around for the board she abandoned for the dragon's tail, hoping to find the floatation device nearby.
Deep underneath the water, Mhyrdal continued to watch her. He had grabbed the piece of board with his back leg when Faile had been distracted, and now clutched it under his tail with his hind paws. As he saw the human begin her fruitless attempts to find it, he allowed himself a small grin.
Panic welled up inside Faile as she scanned the open water around her. Waves rolled in around in her head, blocking her view as she swam about. She couldn't find it anywhere! Whimpering, Faile tried swimming around in a circle, craning her head around to try and spot the wood but it was no use. It was gone.
Shivering Faile stopped swimming and hovered on the surface, treading water as best she could. As the icy waters continued to pierce her naked skin, Faile began to see the truth of the dragon's words. No amount of strength or denial could change the hopelessness of her situation. Completely alone, incredibly far from any land, her chances of survival were practically impossible.
Faile dwelled on such thoughts as she continued to tread water. For almost an hour she was able to keep herself afloat, but fatigue eventually began to set in, and she found herself numb from the cold of the ocean waters.
She didn't want to die. Not this way. To drown in the middle of the ocean and sink into its murky depths was a fate Faile would never want to experience if given a choice: such as the offer of the dragon she turned down.
Faile's head went under the water as her exhaustion took hold. Salt water filled her mouth and eyes as her arms lost their strength and let her sink. A surge of panic brought her back up to the surface, coughing and spitting out the small amount of water she had accidentally swallowed. A mixture of her fear of drowning and the extreme cold of the ocean was beginning to have an effect on her. Faile remembered the warm breath of the dragon as it washed over her, and despite the dangers it suggested, she craved it now more then ever. Panning around, she started to scream, "dragon! Please come back! Please! Where are you? I've changed my mind come back please!"
Grinning from underneath the water, Mhyrdal heard the human's cries for help and slowly began to rise up to the surface.
When the dragon rose up out of the water behind her, this time, Faile didn't scream: she was too exhausted. She simply turned, staring at the giant reptile that hungrily stared down at her shivering form.
"You're lucky I was passing by," the dragon stated, flicking his tongue out in disgust. "What do you want?"
Almost sinking under the water again, Faile said, "please...please I want you to...help me."
Narrowing his eyes, the dragon let him maw gape slightly open. All this waiting, this planning, was about to come to fruition: he was going to eat a willing human being. "How?" He said.
Shivering and looking into the dragon's mouth, Faile said, "The way...the way you said you would...please."
Though Mhyrdal had already decided he was going to eat her, he pretended to consider the human's offer, twisting his scaled face into a mask of deep thought. After a few moments, he said, "Very well, human. If this is what you desire, I will not deny you. I promise to make this, 'experience' very pleasurable for you."
Punctuating his statement with one last suggestive smile, Mhyrdal craned his head downwards to rest his head in front of Faile, and opened his great maw, sliding his massive tongue out into the water.
Faile simply stared at the cavernous mouth in front of her. Its red, fleshy interior remained slightly cast in shadow, despite the sunlight coming from directly overhead. The inside of the mouth dripped with reptilian saliva, its slimy drops falling from the beast's teeth and upper palate and falling onto the quivering tongue underneath it. The back of the dragon's throat moved as Mhyrdal breathed in and out, blasting gusts of hot air onto Faile's face. The stench of the creature's maw and the heavy lathe of its drool washed over her with each exhale, causing Faile's heart to jump in her chest.
She was about to willingly become prey for this beast: play the role that nature had intended. Faile had no intention of drowning, and as the maw of the dragon gaped in front of her, she accepted what was about to happen.
Faile watched at the tongue of the dragon slid out of its mouth into the water, sliding underneath her and cupping her between the legs with its tip. Faile flinch at the touch, but actually relaxed as the muscle stimulated her, dragging her closer to the lizard's mouth. As she reached the front of the creatures maw, the tongue slid back out from underneath her, slurping back into the mouth of the beast in front of her. She held onto the bottom of the dragon's jaw for support, grasping the smooth enamel of the teeth. Faile rubbed her hand along the dragon's scaled jaw, feeling the warm skin with her hands once again. With one more flick of his tongue, the dragon beckoned her to climb in, not wanting to drag her in himself
Faile closed her eyes as another warm gust of air washed over her, soothing her upper body with a pleasant humidity. The inside of the dragon's maw beckoned to her, and using the teeth for support, she pulled her chest onto the lower part of the jaw, resting her breasts on the tip of the tongue.
Mhyrdal rumbled as he tasted the human's skin for the first time. The restraint he'd shown in the beginning was finally going to pay off. Slipping his tongue under the woman once again, the dragon coiled his tip around the human's waist and pulled her into his mouth, letting her rest on the inside of his maw. It would be easy enough to simple close his mouth and swallow, but he'd worked and waited for too long for this morsel to go willingly into his stomach. This, he was going to savour.
Feeling the warm, slimy tongue of the dragon underneath her, Faile collapsed onto its length, sprawling across its length and hugging it with her arms and legs. The warmth of the scaled skin paled in comparison to the heat she felt in the damp interior of the dragon's mouth. After being trapped in freezing waters for so long, humid air and soft, warm expanse of the dragon's lower jaw felt like heaven. Faile closed her eyes and sighed; finally warm and free of the ocean, she relaxed as the maw closed around her, shutting the outside world away with a soft, 'clack.'
Faile felt the tongue slide underneath her, undulating beneath her naked body as began to rub against her, gently massaging her. The dragon had promised that he would make the experience enjoyable. So far, he was keeping that promise.
Lifting her up, Mhyrdal pressed Faile to his palate, keeping her in place as he coiled his tongue around her body. Small drops of saliva slid out of the corners of his mouth, unable to prevent them as he ran his tongue over the succulent prey in his mouth.
The experience of eating this woman was more then Mhyrdal could've ever hoped for. There was no struggling, no need to damage her, and she went along with the movements of his mouth, stimulating his flesh as he worked it against her. The dragon rumbled happily as he felt something primal and instinctual rise up from within him: a type of carnal glee that only comes from the intimate contact of flesh.
Keeping Faile pinned to the roof of his mouth, Mhyrdal moved his tongue until its tip was pointed directly at the cleft between the human's legs. Curling the tip around, the dragon slid the tip of his tongue into Faile's vagina. This was, of course, what he meant by 'pleasure:' it was the least he could do for such willing prey.
Faile gasped as she felt the tip of the dragon's tongue penetrate her. Slick with the beast's saliva, it slid inside of her easily, stimulating her with its rough movements. The tongue pulsed within her, rubbing the walls of her pussy and lips while simultaneously wetting them the thick, reptilian saliva. Clenching at the invading tongue and hugging its length with all her might, Faile humped against the flexible muscle, enjoying every second of it.
Letting out a rumble of delight as Faile squeezed his tongue, Mhyrdal picked up the pace, sliding his tongue back and forth in quick rapid movements. She was being cooperative in every way the hungry dragon could hope for, helping taste her in every way imaginable. Though the human never noticed, possible due to lingering numbness from the cold or her extreme pleasure, he accidentally scratched her leg with one of his teeth. He had no desire to chew the human, but the tiny scratch was enough to add a pleasurable tang to his already delicious morsel.
Lost in the throbbing of the dragon's tongue within her, Faile forgot about all her troubles and the immediate danger of her predicament. Coated in dragon saliva, she shivered, this time with delight, moving herself and rocking her hips as the tongue coiled around her, sliding in and out of her pussy. She gave a light moan, feeling her orgasm building as the smooth edges of the tongue massaged her sensitive areas.
Her groans of ecstasy ceased however, as the tip of the dragon's tongue slid out of her, leaving her pussy wet and aching for more. Rather then waiting for the dragon to resume, Faile began to slide her waist back and forth, rubbing the lips of her vagina on the bumps of the beast's flesh.
Grumbling in the dragon form of a chuckle, Mhyrdal lowered the human in his mouth to his lower jaw, coiling his tongue around her waist and flipping the her onto her back. As she rested in that bottom pocket of his mouth, Mhyrdal curled his tongue in the back of his mouth, flicking it in a tease before softly bringing it forward to slid in-between Faile's legs once again.
Lying with the back of her head on the dragon's front teeth, Faile spread her legs and gasped as the tongue re-entered her, easily penetrating her moistened nethers. Pushing at the roof of the dragon's mouth, Faile tensed as the flesh stimulated her once again. Every part of her body was absolutely soaking in dragon spittle, the slimy fluid bathing her in stickiness and warmth. Her nose was filled with the meaty odour of the reptile's maw, which increased its intensity every time the beast exhaled from the back of its throat.
Faile gasped loudly, clenching her thighs together against the sides of the tongue and arching her back as she felt herself go over the brink. The large muscles gave one last twitch inside her before Faile began shaking, her body rolling with waves of ecstasy as her orgasm washed over her.
Feeling the human thrash about in his lower jaw, Mhyrdal smiled. As he continued to flick his tongue at her waist, the dragon slowly began to raise his head upwards. His belly rumbled in anticipation as the reptile prepared to swallow. The dragon slid his tongue back underneath the human, letting go of his hold and letting her fall deeper into his maw.
Faile barely noticed as her environment tilted upwards, forcing her to slide deeper into the dragon's mouth. She stopped when she hit the back of the dragon's throat, which somehow felt even warmer then the rest of the fleshy interior. She sighed as the moist walls caressed her naked skin, letting herself relax was the last waves of pleasure with in her faded away. She closed her eyes and barely reacted as the throat opened up underneath her, the wet flesh around her expanding to swallow her whole. Looking back from out from the dragon's mouth, Faile saw the maw of the beast crack open slightly, allowing her one last look at the world before her view disappeared entirely, the flesh completely engulfing her with an audible, moist, gulping sound. The wet, slimy noises of the dragon's flesh surrounded her as she dropped into a tight, round tube. The sides of the reptiles oesophagus were covered in heavy saliva and mucus, allowing her to easily plunge downwards into the beast's gut.
From the outside, Mhyrdal closed his eyes tight as he tilted his head skyward and pushed the human down his neck. Letting his jaws gape slightly with the effort, the dragon gave two, small gulps, swallowing the human whole. As the woman began to travel down into his body, her form making a small bulge in his great neck, the dragon let out a great sigh. His tongue slid across his lips as he savoured the remaining taste of his willing prey. It didn't take long for the human to reach the rest of his body, and the dragon shuddered in delight as the bulge vanished into his chest, the human coming to a rest inside the thick scales of his belly.
After a few, long moments of sliding, Faile was pushed into the dragon's stomach, which greedily expanded to accept her. This isn't so bad, Faile thought, as the pleasant heat of the beast surrounded her: there can be worse fates then being food for a dragon. Curling up into a ball, Faile began to lose consciousness as the stomach pressed in around her, squishing and rumbling as it got to work on her body. Fading away, Faile let one last smile cross her lips. She would never be cold again.
Mhyrdal's gut rumbled as he let out a giant belch to pierce the surrounding stillness of the ocean. The dragon let his tongue loll out to the side, reminiscing on the succulent meal that had just passed into his gut. He couldn't believe how lucky he'd been in finding this human, and was still amazed that his idea worked: the desperation of a lost, hopeless human turning her into willing prey.
I'll remember this meal for a long time, Mhyrdal though, twisting his scaled lips into a giant smile as he sped off along the surface of the water. Time to go back home and rest; after all, land was only a few hours away.
