Tomas was a normal man. He had a job with taking care of Pokemons. He had a family. He had an objective: To travel the world in search of new species of Pokemon. He could never know how many there were out there. And his curiosity is what took him to his doom.It all started when vacations arrived. He was with his best friend, Maria. Travelling through the continent. As they traveled, they start to get together with one another, and falled in love. They stayed together all the times, and made a lot of friends through their journey.  Friends that he liked so much, that he asked a job transfer to another town, so he could still hang with them. After two years of struggle, he finally made it. He, his friends and his girlfriend were happy together. Tomas and his girlfriend got married and lived a normal life together. Until..."Hey, did you see backpack?" - Tomas asked Maria, while drinking a bottle of juice."Are you going somewhere?" - She answered him, surprised."Yes, actually..." - He said, while putting the bottle on a table - "I'm going to Jungle Ruins to search for a new type of Pokemon.""A new type of Pokemon?""It seems that people who lives there are claiming that there is an unknown Pokemon running through the jungle.""And your boss asked you to go there to check it out?""Well, since it's my job to keep all Pokemons on a healthy state, so, yeah. I need to know why is this Pokemon so different from others and if something is happening to him.""I don't know...Jungle Ruins is a dangerous city, shouldn't you..."Tomas got closer to her and hugged her."Shh...You don't need to say that. I will be fine. Sending people to check security on cities like that is actually pretty common."But why send a Pokemon caretaker?" - Tomas asked himself, without an answer to this very question.Maybe they wanted him not to find out if it was a new Pokemon or not, but to also take care of it. The years of his profession and his ability of being good at what he does might be why they chose him and not another person. A question of both trust and make sure the Pokemon stays alive, at the same time."Well, even if it's a new species, Pokemons are actually pretty similar. I am sure i can take care of it." - He tough to himself.As he arrived in the city, he was received by many scientists, who

greet him with a warm welcome. One of them, Johnny, walked with him to the last location seen of the creature. The two alone, got close to a dark part of the forest. Not entering on it, but staying next to it."We called a Pokemon caretaker because i tough you could look at this."As he finished talking, he pointed his finger to the ground. As Tomas followed the direction, he saw there marks on the ground. Marks made by some claw. He crouched to exam it."I'm sure you've took care of lots of Pokemons. Do you know if there's one that could've done these marks?""I don't know...A Charizard, maybe?""I would say that, but the holes made are way more deep than a normal Charizard's claw could do. We tested it. Also, from what have been described from the villagers, the creature is a bit bigger than a Charizard.""It could be a mutated Dragonite or something. I don't know for sure. But these marks were made by dragon claws, that's for sure.""No doubt."After their analysis, they parted ways. Tomas found himself a temporary home and only needed to pay a small fee. The fee price was lowered for him just because of the research."I actually feel so special right now." - He tough to himself.After studying a bit about the area and after looking over 600 different types of Pokemons in his book, he came to the conclusion that there's no way a dragon type Pokemon with these characters could be here."What the..." - He said as he closed the book and made a chose.When the night fell, he got out undetected and got past the dark area, entering a land that was prohibited to go by the police. It was a place with violent wild Pokemons. You could never know what to expect on these lands.He climbed until the top of these lands, only to find small wild life Pokemons like eevees and he's evolutions. Nothing out of ordinary. He then sat down on a rock and opened his backpack. He grabbed a bottle of water and started to drink it while staring at the beautiful sky with a full moon."It's so calm in here, this place is just so beautiful." - He started to tough to himself - "Still, no sign of the unknown Pokemon."As he was distracted by this place's charm, a growl came from the woods. Tomas heard it and turned his back. Nothing could be seen."Maybe it's my imagination" - He tough.He started to pack up his stuff and put his backpack on. As he did it, he heard the growl again. This time he could recognize it as a dragon growl. He them saw a bunch of eevees running from the woods. As they run, a creature came after then. Tomas tried to get away, but tripped over another rock that was behind him. While he was on the ground, he lifted he eyes up to see what was happening. He finally saw the Pokemon. It was a Charizard. But, it was different. While he was getting close, the moonlight let able to see more of him. He was larger than a normal Charizard, his claws are also bigger and he was

walking in four paws instead of two. His bones looked strange too, like if they were pushed out or something. But he still had all the characters of a Charizard: Orange skin, a long tail, white belly and a flame at the end of his tail. He was a Charizard, but a different kind of one. He was also pretty angry, his growls were loud and scary. He wanted to hurt, even kill."This is why the eevees were running of fear?" - Tomas tough.With the eyes full of fury, the creature looked at the moon and howled to it with a loud "CHAAAAAARRRR!"Tomas was petrified. He din't know what to do. But he knew one thing: If he stayed there, he would die. And that's what gave him the strength to run. He started to run like he had never before. And that caught the creature's attention. After that, the pursue started. A fight for live. They both entered a dark forest. Tomas feared for his life, not looking behind one single time while running. He ran deeper into the woods and got surrounded by trees, without any sign of an exit. It was when Tomas looked back for the first time when he stomped into a tree's root, falling to the ground. He wanted to keep running, but din't see the creature anywhere. He then took the chance of taking a deep breath and recover from all the running. He stayed resting in the tree, trying to calm himself to make his head straight."What the hell was that?" - He asked himself, while trying to keep his mind running sane.He then decided to keep forward. When he did, he was stop by the same creature who've found him and made him jump backwards to the ground. He then started to walk away from the creature, trying to reason with it."Sorry, i'm sorry if i bothered you. I don't know what you're suffering, but i can help you. I'm a Pokemon caretaker, i can help you with anything. Please, spare my life!"As he was getting away, the creature was coming closer and closer to him, slowly. When he felt his back touching the tree, he got paralyzed.As the creature was getting close, he could felt he life was about to end. The creature continued growling and opened it mouth to show the sharp dragon teeths, getting ready to kill the human."Does Pokemons kill people? Or even eat them? What's happening to this one?" - He tough, as it was like his last words. He knew everything was about to end and wanted to find a way to get away from death. But as getting was getting more and more impossible, he almost gave up. He tried to look to his right to not face his death and then he saw a heavy tree branch laying on the ground. He decided to take a deep breath and be ready to get it and use it against the creature.He pushed himself fast and was able to get the branch. At the same time, the creature notice this movie and tries to bit him. Tomas ends getting bitten in his shoulder. The pain he felt was horrible. The sharp teeth getting through his skin made a deep hole and made him start bleeding.Trying to ignore all the pain, Tomas put all his strength on hitting the creature with the branch, making it falls to he's right. As he made it, the creature's teeth got out of his skin and he put his hand to try to cover his hurt shoulders. He then started to run once again through the forest, without looking behind and with no rests. He then saw a light coming from a part of the woods, it was sure the exit. He followed it and was surprised to see that he was back into the city once again."Yeah...I made it...I am ali-" - He said, before fainting due the considerable lose of blood.He din't even felt when he collapsing. The last thing he remembered was looking to the city from not much far away.When he opened his eyes again, Tomas was in a hospital. He tried to get up but was stopped by a doctor."Shh...Not yet. You still need some rest." - The doctor said."How...How much time i've been here?""Two and half weeks." - Said the doctor."Damn, i gave some trouble, din't i?""More than you think. You had a strong fever and stop your bleeding was hard, but hey, now your arm is fine."Tomas looked in his bitten shoulder only to find a little scar."Geez, thanks. That was a fine job you did.""Don't thank me, it was a courtesy from the scientists. They wanted to make sure you would be fine.""I will remember to thank they later.""Sure. But now you need to rest."Tomas then finally felt good and relaxed. And them he remembered something important."Hey!" - He said, getting the doctor's attention once again - "Did somebody called my wife?""Well, she called. But they said that you were hard working and pretty occupied to answer. They din't want to worry her about your health state since she lives so far away from here.""I see. That was a good chose. When i get back i can call her and try to explain what happened. Thanks.""Don't thank me." - The doctor smiled, leaving the room after saying this.After one more week, Tomas got out of the hospital, fully recovered and healthy once again.When he got once again in his temporary home, he called his wife."Hey baby." - Said Tomas."Tomas? The sun coming through his window made him get up to close the window's curtains. He was surprised that, when he closed it, it was scratched with holes that looked like it was made from claws."What the..." - Tomas said to himself, while he turned around and was stumbled to see that his room was a completely a mess. Many thins were scratched and most of his things were out of place."What happened here?" - He asked himself, trying to remember of last night - "It was hot, and then i felt sleep...I can't remember anything...What happened?"He then opened his closet to see that his clothes were intact."Whatever that was, it can't open doors at least."He put his clothes on and got out of his home.After meeting with the scientists and telling them what happened in the forest, Tomas repacked himself with new things from the shop. He also bought a camera so he could film what happens with him if he ever goes in the woods once again. He received many calls from different scientists through the day, asking him about his experience in the woods. Everything was helping with the research and one of the researchers asked Tomas:"Do you want to go there again?""Never." - He answered, embracing his chose."Well, we tough when you get back, you could guide us. See you tomorrow.""See ya".As the call was finished, he was getting opening his home door and getting inside it. When he got inside, it was already 22pm. It was late. He called his wife once again and told them all the news. After ending the call, he was ready to go to sleep once again. But then an idea came when he look at the stuff he bought. He saw the camera he had got and tough:"Maybe i should record my room, so if any wild Pokemon or anything is getting inside my house, i will be able to see it."He then took off his clothes and got into the room with his camera. He put the camera in a high spot, so it couldn't be reached easily. He also put some duct tape to make sure the camera doesn't fall off."Okay, this should do it."He prepared himself to get to sleep. As he proceeded to his bed, he saw once again the full moon."It's really beau-"He was stop by his hearth accelerating once again. He put his hand on his chest and fell to his knees. He growled and look at himself in a mirror. He could see his teeths were getting sharp and his chest was getting tighter."What is happening to MEEEEEEEEEE!"He screamed in pain, as he skin started to turn orange once again. He looked at his hand and saw once again the fingernails turning into claws."No, no, noooooooooooooo!"He kept screaming as he body was transforming.That, once again, was the last thing he had seen. But couldn't remember.He once again woke up on the ground and the room was once again a mess."Damn, my head hurts. A lot."Tomas got up slowly and saw the camera was still up there, filming."Well, let's see what happened."He got the camera and put it on a table. He opened his closet and put him his clothes. When he was ready, he played the tape.From the moment he was going to bed, he saw it. He saw him screaming like if he was about to die and falling to his knees. He then saw when his nails turned into claws and his skin was turning orange. But it was more than it. His hands were turning into dragon's paws and getting more animalistic. His scream was not human anymore, you could only hear a growl coming from him while he was transforming. You could feel the pain was intense.In the camera, he got all fours and kept screaming, while his body was changing. His belly was getting withe and he was getting a bit fat. His teeths were getting sharper and his mouth started to push forward in a dragonic-like mouth. His face and the rest of his body was getting scaly and he himself was getting bigger and stronger.
