Pathfinding: An Adult Choose Your Own Adventure, Tenth Entry
#10 of Pathfinding-CYOA
A transition scene, as the party travels through the wilderness toward the High Alpha's present encampment. Also, the party is joined by Ryg, the blind she-wolfen shamaness, who lends both her herbal expertise as well as her magical ability to the party's general pool. Also, a listing of that general pool of abilities and resources. Please feel free to point out needed additions and corrections as you see them.

Author Notes and Total Party Abilities
The new vote tally to get a midweek posting is now set to 30. Be advised: once we hit 30 votes, then I will post a midweek entry. I will generally only do one such additional entry, though, simply because of time constraints.
Also, this is where I will now be listing the cumulative party resources. This includes personal abilities of the members of the party (the things they are willing to do for us, that is), and important inventory items. If desired, I will break these down by their owners, rather than lumping them into a single list. These abilities are listed in very general terms, so as to make it possible for you, the reader, to be creative in their use. Feel free to suggest additions to this list, especially if you think something is important and has been left out. Note that the levels "minor," "moderate," or "major" are listed before each item to indicate the degree of skill with which that item is used; generally, each level adds 5% (from 5% to 15%) to any percentile rolls in which a character with that skill is put into use.
Presently, the party has the following available to them:
-Armor (1 light armor with moderate defensive stance, 1 moderate armor, 2 shields)
-Bardic Performance (1 moderate).
-Berserker (1 moderate).
-Magic (2 minor healing, 1 major healing, 2 minor body modification, 1 major fertility magic, 1 minor fire wand, 1 moderate fire spells, 1 minor utility magic, 1 moderate earth magic, 1 minor wind magic, 1 minor emotion magic, 1 minor sound magic, 1 minor illusion magic).
-Melee weaponry (1 moderate dual axe/shortsword, 2 moderate martial arts, 5 minor spear, 1 major spear, 1 major heavy mace, 1 moderate rapier, 1 moderate dagger, 1 minor light mace, 1 minor short sword; stun poison has been added as an option for all piercing weapons).
-Ranged weaponry (1 major crossbow, 2 moderate shortbows, 1 longbow, 1 pistol, 1 fire wand, 1 blowgun, 7 minor spears; stun poison has been added as an option for all piercing weapons).
-Running (1 major).
-Social Skills (2 moderate, 1 minor).
-Stealth (1 major, 2 moderate, 1 minor).
-Tracking (1 major, 1 minor).
-Traps skill (1 moderate).
Presently, I am working on cobbling together a "Pathfinder Stuff" folder on SoFurry, in which I intend to stuff the various collected Pathfinder rules additions that I have lying around, such as spells, races, stuff relating specifically to Therafim and its inhabitants, and things like that.
Finally, our newest party member:
Ryg - A blind she-wolfen shamaness, and more than a little bit of a pervert herself. Highly skilled in fertility magic, and also closely tuned to the whisperings of earth and wind. Has soft fur that is so pale it is almost (but not quite) white, a result of premature fading, making her look quite a bit older than her true, middle-aged years. Moderately busty but quite well-muscled, able to keep up with most males her age with cunning and skill rather than brute strength.
Pathfinding Tenth Entry
It wasn't a pretty job, but...it made good sense. However much Rufus might be the sort to be driven by his passions rather than his brains, when he'd set himself on a mission, he tended to like to stick to it until the end. He was kind of stubborn that way.
That stubbornness was how Rufus ended up in the dense woods of the north, his small party settling themselves in for the night, about half a day's journey from where the High Alpha was presently encamped. If Rufus could talk the High Alpha of the Blue Feather pack into throwing his entire weight into fighting the Warlord, then he'd have one of the most powerful and numerous fighting forces in the area on his side. Honestly, Rufus didn't think it'd be that hard getting the High Alpha to give his support. He just didn't like what he'd probably have to deal with in order to get it.
There was one nice thing that came out of deciding to go see the High Alpha first, though: Ryg, the shamaness of the older alpha's tribe, had decided to come along with him, to speak in Rufus' favor. Despite the obvious blindness of her whited-out eyes, Ryg didn't seem to have any difficulty getting around, apparently a gift from the spirits of earth and wind, with whom she could converse. With Ryg had also come the secret to the paralyzing concoction her tribe used on its weapons, as well as how to make the essenve of the spring wolf potion. She kept the specifics of these secrets to herself, for the most part, but that didn't stop her from being willing to brew up a batch of both potions, a larger one of the former, on the second day out in the wilds.
Overall, though, the journey went smoothly. After passing the Blue Feather tribe, it seemed that they'd stepped into territory that the Blue Feather pack as a whole had claimed and largely pacified, leaving only common animals, most of which knew better than to bother travelers. Actually, it would probably have been one of the most pleasant, peaceful journeys in the wilderness that Rufus had enjoyed in a long time indeed, if it weren't for the slight awkwardness between his party members.
For the most part, the recent sexual adventure with the tribe of wolfen hadn't done a whole lot to dampen the loyalties of the non-human members of the party. Naturally, Urtan, Spark, and Cassidy were quite pleased with how things had turned out, since none of them had been on the receiving end of the resultant orgy. The little princess, Adel, had grown quite friendly with Rufus after they'd started on their journey to the High Alpha, and had indicated several times, in her subtle, demure way, that she wouldn't object at all if Rufus had any more lustful plans for her in store, her sharp and even potentially brilliant adolescent mind now eagerly opened up to a whole new world of sensuality, a world that she very much wanted to thoroughly explore, with Rufus as her guide. Actually, if the party wasn't trying to move with speed right then, Rufus would surely have dragged Adel into the bushes a dozen times by now...if she didn't do the dragging first!
After cumming more times than she could count on dozens of thrusting wolfen cocks and lapping tongues and groping hands, Urta didn't have any major complaints either. Rish and Rack had slightly sore bottoms after their rough use by the white-furred alpha, but the experience, apparently, had been fairly positive for them as well, and they had been steadily more and more flirtatious with Rufus since then, occasionally, deliberately, brushing their hips against his, their stubby, bottle-brush hyena tails stroking his rump beneath his loincloth. Greymuzzle took the whole incident in stride, showing a stoicism that was a product of both age and wisdom, and Horse didn't seem smart enough for the massive gang-bang to have registered much one way or the other. One-Eye...well, One-Eye might become a problem, for while he didn't seem to have minded the gang-bang, he did seem more sullen than before, more watchful and withdrawn, as though looking for potential weakness in either of his leaders, Rufus and Urta. These were signs that both wolfen male and gnoll female knew well, as part of their pack-based culture, and they knew that, should an opportunity arise, One-Eye would almost certainly betray them.
These were hardly problems. The problems arose from the humans. Regina, for her part, was the least troubled of the girls, followed shortly thereafter by Leta. The dark-haired, pigtailed healer had been raised in a most conservative fashion, and before she'd gone adventuring with her friends, she'd actually been intended for the Sisters of Radiance, one of the very rare celibate orders serving the gods of Light, its membership mostly composed of humans and the occasional elf. Now, her whole world was turned upside-down, an inhuman baby in her belly, and small, shallow scratches from Urtan's blunt claws gradually healing on her bottom and outer thighs. Her flesh magic was normally intended for purposes of healing, but...Regina knew, if she'd wanted to, she could have ended the life her magical senses detected in her womb, snuffing it out before it grew any larger, and she could easily have fixed the scratches on her body. But, somehow, she didn't want to do either; she was marked now, outside and in, and she enjoyed how it made her feel. Every so often, when she strayed closer to Urtan or Rufus in the line of travelers than she'd intended, the cute little nerd would suddenly realize they were there, look up at them, then hastily look away, her face turning a beet red. Whenever this happened, Rufus and Urtan would just trade knowing glances: Regina was theirs, a willing slave to their whims who just hadn't quite realized it consciously yet. She would, of that they were both confident.
Leta's reaction was the most rational and sensible of the five human teens (or human-blooded teens, in Marlene's case). Instead of becoming emotional or upset at getting a bellyful of rabbitcum right in her magically enlivened womb, she simply accepted what had happened at face value: Rufus had been given a choice, either to hand her and her friends over to the wolfen in general, or to prove his worth as their alpha and claim the girls himself. It was the lesser of two evils, and the brown-haired girl in suspenders knew it and seemed to adjust without too much trouble. She never seemed to think to ask Regina if it were possible to end her pregnancy, though, and Regina never offered. That, and Leta had been spending a lot of her travel time with Cassidy, and every now and then, Rufus was certain he caught her giving him and Rufus long, searching looks when she thought he wasn't aware of it.
That left the three malcontents. Morgan, Deriny, and, of course, Marlene, had largely kept to themselves while the group traveled, keeping their conversations with their beastfolk companions - especially the males - to an absolute bare minimum. Deriny's sarcastic tongue occasionally left a few stripes on Rufus' ego if he was too close to her for too long, but otherwise the three girls would only speak to Regina and Leta, and sometimes Adel, who had a knack for winning confidences, and very rarely to Spark, who was hard not to like, however upset anyone might be at beastfolk in general. The signs, once more, were clear: there was mutiny afoot. Unlike with One-Eye, however, Marlene, Morgan, and Deriny didn't seem like they had any intention of betraying their companions. However ill-treated they might have felt, they all recognized, to one degree or another, like Leta, that what they had gone through was the lesser of two evils. Despite this knowledge, however, Rufus guessed that it was only a matter of time and opportunity before the three girls would try to slip off, taking Leta and Regina with them if they could.
Hmm, Rufus might have to do something about those three. His sheath couldn't help but swell a little as he considered some of the more enjoyable ways to bring them back into line. Try as he might, Rufus just couldn't bring himself to feel guilty over the funny way Marlene walked for the day-and-a-half after she'd had her fine buns hammered, or how he'd pumped Morgan's tight quim to the brim with cum right at the peak of her magically-enhanced ovulation. Honestly, he couldn't wait to do it again, given the chance. The only question was: did he want to talk them into it the next time, or did he plan to dominate them the old-fashioned way, making them cream themselves until they couldn't resist him ever again?
Finally, as camp was made on the night before they would come into the camp of the High Alpha, Rufus stood, watching the rest of the camp with a thoughtful expression. He was tense, and soon he'd need to make final preparations for meeting the assembled leaders of the Blue Feather pack, most powerful wolfen pack in that region, and perhaps in the world. Turning away, Rufus descended a short rise, smiling as he scented water. Soon after, his ears picked up a small, gurgling brook that formed a pleasant, quiet pool. Checking to ensure there were no leeches or other undesirable creatures in the water, Rufus finally satisfied himself that this was indeed a nice little waterhole, like the sort he'd swam in when he'd been a pup. A cool dip was just what he needed, right when the water hadn't had time to get cold from the night's chill, but wasn't warmed by the sun any longer.
Peeling off his armor, his loincloth, and all his weapons save for a knife he kept securely fastened to his thigh by a leather strap, Rufus stepped into the water, shivering as it touched his toes. Stepping steadily deeper, until he was up to his waist, the grey-furred wolfen grit his teeth, relishing the cool shock to his heavy, dangling sac and sheath. A healthy, virile male, he'd gone for two days now without sexual release, all while in the company of several desirable partners, most of them quite willing as well. His sheath was swelling already, and he regretted not having chosen someone to come with him.
Suddenly, Rufus heard a rustle from the bushes, and swiftly turned, his hand going to the dagger on his thigh. Immediately, though, his nose revealed that there was no threat. No, this was quite the opposite, if his nose was telling him right, his mouth already starting to water at the possibilities.
Path Choices
A) Campfire tales. Select a party member who you would like to share more of their backstory. Rufus is the most obvious at this time, since his growing trepidation about meeting the High Alpha has been obvious to everyone, but anyone in the party can be selected. This will take place after the events selected in choice B take place.
B) Last-minute sex. Tensions are running hot and high right now, and some sex would be appreciated. The following general options are available for a scene that will take place at the waterhole in the next entry.
1) Never mind the sex, let's just stick to the backstory.
2) General consensual orgy. Whoever wants to participate, can. Whoever doesn't, can sit it out. Seems everybody got the idea to cool off around the same time, or else noticed Rufus and it just sort of happened.
3) General orgy. Like it or not, everybody gets to participate. Those that show up drag those that didn't over to join in.
4) Rufus picks a partner. Select whoever you'd like to be there, preferably just one or two persons. Also indicate if Urtan will be there as well, since he is Rufus' near-constant shadow, after all...or if he's the one who shows up, alone.
