Chapter 6

Tylan walked out of the pool of water that he, Fred and Jamison had all teleported into to back up Leon on this out of the blue mission. Blue and Red were at home base working on support from their end trying to figure out any escape routes or identify any potential threats in the area by hacking satellites. Tylan and his friends approached Leon who was still working on his computer with his back turned.

"What is this about Leon? Your father gave me some info about this mission but not much else." Tylan asked.

"We made contact with someone. A destined like the rest of us. He says he is working for this World's Kami. My father believes that he is trustworthy but still wants us to be on guard. We do not know what the Kami of earth really wants from us." Leon responded.

Tylan moved over to see the information on the screen that Leon had, it was most likely an infiltration point along with the best escape routes. Leon was the best at gathering information like this and Tylan knew he must have worked on this a lot to keep the girls safe. Tylan focused before getting a plan together.

"When and where are we supposed to meet with this guy?" Tylan asked.

"In about fifteen minutes in the security room where Nancy and Cindy are being held. I already have a route laid out for everyone. You will join Nancy, Cindy and our contact. I will stay here and run long range support and coordinate this with Red and Blue. Fred and Jamison will stand by at extraction points just in case anything goes wrong." Leon said as he sent all the information needed to everyone's wrist Console.

Tylan smiled and nodded. "Then let's move out." Tylan said as he and Jamison ran off towards their area. Fred stayed behind for a few before heading out while Leon started working his magic with the security system making sure to give Ty the time he needed to get in.

Ty approached the fence noting that the patrols seemed to have just passed the area. This was the perfect chance for him to get in without any trouble. "Siren, I need a boost!" Ty said into his wrist watch.

Soon a small metal device was transported on the Ty's back. As he approached the fence the box let out a huge burst of air that propelled Ty into the air and over the fence before he landed and made his way to the door that would be the easiest entry. He quickly made his way into the building and started walking around as stealthy as he could.

Tylan made it to the security office just in time to meet the boy he was waiting for. Zack, it was the name that the ghost fox told him.

"Nice to meet you Zack," Tylan reached out his paw to the blue otter.

"Pleasure is mine as well Tylan, Nice to meet someone who our lady Gaia has such high hopes for." Zack said as he shook hands with Tylan.

"Gaia?" Tylan asked.

"Our world's Kami, her name is Gaia. She is the one who sent me to retrieve this artefact." Zack responded.

"Wait! I thought the Kami of this world refuses to interact with it?" Tylan asked.

"Well that is what everyone thinks, but truth is she is always watching closely but trusts that we furs have the potential to evolve into a peaceful and prosperous species without her needing to intervene. However she is no longer content to let Kami's of other worlds have their way here and so we are going to stop them before the destroy this world." Zack said he planted a device on the security panel.

"I wonder then why the run around? If she wants our help then couldn't she have just contacted us directly?" Tylan asked curiously. Zack paused and sighed.

"You are still blind to many things. Even though we have similar goals our motives might be very different from yours. And it is clear that king might not have the best interest of earth in mind. I hope that you have not thrown your entire faith into a man who cannot even trust himself at times. You should watch your back." Zack warned Ty who was not having any of it.

Tylan smirked. "You think I am not aware of such things. I know full well what I have dived into."

"If you believe so. Anyway let's get the girls and begin shall we?" Zack said as he pointed back to Nancy and Cindy. The Coyote and black cat were just coming out of their trance.

Tylan went over and helped the two get their collar off. "You two alright?" He asked.

"Ty?!? Is that really you?" Nancy asked as she looked at the little raccoon she babysat a few years ago.

"Yea it's me, I am in charge of this operation now. We are going to retrieve an item here and then pull out, we got enough Intel out of this place already." Tylan updated the two. Nancy was stunned. This was the little boy she knew? This was the little shy but playful raccoon she had to work so hard to get out of his shell sometimes? Was this the real Tylan? He had really changed since she last saw him.

"So what are we doing now?" Cindy asked not aware of Nancy's mind set.

"Just follow me. The security sweeps have ended for now, we have a small window to get to the artefact before we get discovered so let's move." Zack said ushering everyone to follow him.

The four quickly moved through the facility making sure not to arouse anyone who should have been sleeping at the time. But they failed to notice the shadowy figure that stalked them.

Outside however Leon was nervous as he watched the mission start. This was going to be a mission that would really test them. A sudden infiltration mission into the enemy's base of operations with two alphas there. It might be their hardest mission so far, hopefully they could pull this off.

Leon was so absorbed in his work he never realized that someone had approached him until he heard them stepping on a leaf. Leon quickly turned around just time to see a shiny object coming at him. Leon barely managed to jump out of the way as a silver chain and ball coming towards him smashing his computer console into pieces.

Leon growled. "Griffin my pistols please!" Leon said into his wrist console. Two pistols appeared in Leon's paws as he looked to see where the chain had come from. He soon saw a grey bat walking out of the woods. He was dressed in the black enforcer uniform but had the number eight engraved on it.

"Who are you? And what do you want?" Leon asked as he prepared himself. He was starting to think Zack led them into a trap.

"My name is not important. I am just here to capture you and plug up these leaks." The bat said as he whirled the chain in the air next to him. Leon gulped, this one had this air around him that made him hesitate.

The bat then swung his ball and chain towards Leon who shot one of his pistols to deflect it. The bullet exploded on contact pushing the chain back. The bat gave no reaction he just swung the chain again but this time it was faster than before. Leon had no time to aim so he just jumped out of the way before he heard the chain crashing through the trees behind him.

What Leon saw when he turned around stunned him. The chain had broken through the wall of trees behind breaking them all in half. 'That is some power! No way can a regular fur achieve that. Who the hell is this guy?'

The bat attacked once again with Leon jumping out of the way before trying to fire some shots back. He managed to get three off but the bat just maneuvered the chain around him to absorb the exploding shots. This time the chain did not react as much and Leon realized what he was facing.

"You cannot defeat me. Surrender now or I will get rough." The bat said starting to spin his chain around at speeds that Leon could barely keep track of.

Leon tried to keep his eyes focused on the bat's body instead of the chain itself looking for any cues when to dodge. He barely managed to dodge the chain when he saw the bat use his fingers to guide the chain. Leon rolled away but before he could fully recover the chain hit him straight in the side. Leon was pushed a few feet to the side by the impact.

'Dang that broke a rib, probably. How strong is this guy? He can't be so strong, what the fuck is with him?' Leon coughed up a bit of blood as he got up holding his side. The bat was still swinging his chain around at speeds that Leon could barely keep up with. Leon looked at the bat trying to figure things out. He needed a way to get past this bat, it was time for him to unload a few rounds and test things out.

Leon raised both his pistols although his left side was hurting so much just to raise his arms. He just started firing. The bat just swirled his chain around himself to defend himself from the fury of bullets. Leon just observed how the bat was moving the chain to defend himself but not one bullet was getting through even though they were all on target. He had to change his tactics. If direct shots to the bat wouldn't work then in direct attacks would have to work.

"Griffin, I need a distraction and also start the extraction procedure now." His wrist console beeped and soon two smoke bombs were dropped between him and the bat. The smoke was not settling though the bats swirling chain was dispersing it quickly.

Leon however had used the time to sneak away having stopped shooting. The bat didn't even budge, he just focused. "Heading towards the facility huh? You won't make it that far" The bat said before running off behind Leon.

Leon was in a tree trying to apply some ointment to his side just to relieve the pain so he could move as well as possible. He looked around noting that the bat probably had lost track of him now. 'Man I hope the guys got the message.'

Leon was about to give griffin some more instructions but he was stopped when the ball and chain came rushing around the tree and smashed his wrist console. Leon eyes went wide, this was bad. He jumped away trying to leap from tree to tree but the chain came after him again. The chain smashed a few branches with Leon barely escaping it. Leon knew he was in some serious trouble. Now that his wrist console was smashed he could not call his weapons, communicate or even teleport out. He needed to get some help.

Leon just continued to run until he reached a thinning of the forest and made his way done and started running. He was lucky that the medicine he applied was numbing the pain in his side although he knew thanks to his hard breathing he may face some serious consequences soon.

Leon though final managed to get near the facility before the chain hit him on the ankle causing him to fall forward. Leon slowly got up and looked at the bat behind him still swinging the chain and coming right at him.

"guess this is it, Fuck man, fuck" Leon said before he saw the bat swing his chain at him again but this time it was deflect before it could hit Leon.

Fred had appeared in front of Leon to stop the attack. His hand had two black metal gauntlets on them as he looked at the bat with rage.

"Fred! Thanks man." Leon said.

"Thank me later, Jamison has started preparing already we just need to buy some time here. Can you still shoot?" Fred asked Leon.

"Of course, but I can't stand anymore, my ankle is shot right now." Leon responded.

"It's fine just shoot when I create an opening on this guy, cause I get the feeling he is strong." Fred said as the bat started swirling his chain again.

Meanwhile Tylan and Zack had both managed to get into the area where the artefact was being held. Tylan was working on the locks to the door as Nancy and Cindy were playing lookout. It was easy to get down to this area since this part of the facility was off limits to most.

Tylan had finally managed to break the lock and opened the door. Zack smiled as he motioned for the two girls to come in and what they saw stunned them all.

"Is that it? That the big scary thing we are here to get?" Cindy asked her eyes wide.

"It's so pretty!" Nancy said with glee.

"I can feel its power." Tylan added as he felt the power radiating from the artefact. The artefact in question was just a glowing green crystal ball.

"Let's grab it and get out, I believe we may have been discovered." Zack said as he moved to grab the crystal but it repelled his paw with a burst of energy.

"Siren, I need a container to contain this." Tylan said into his wrist console and soon a special glass container was teleported into his hand. Tylan used the metal rod in the container to knock the ball of its pedestal and into the container.

"Alright. Good, we need to get this out of here now." Zack said as Tylan let siren teleport the object out.

"Alright let's go." Zack said as they went to get away but were stopped.

"You guys aren't leaving here without returning whatever you just stole from us!" They heard a voice say.

They turned around to see that they were surrounded by ten enforcers lead by Alsez and Adamine, the two huskies had led a team to follow Tylan and Zack.

"Ah, I thought I had you two fooled but I guess you aren't as foolish as I pegged you for." Zack said calmly but tauntingly.

"After all the leaks we been having? You really think that after I went and investigated your background that we wouldn't catch on? Nice touch by the way, took a lot of digging to find anything on you but I found just what we needed." Adamine said as he had the guards raise their weapons.

Nancy and Cindy backed up a bit but Zack and Tylan looked unfazed. "But you think you can stop us from getting past you? With that little man power?" Zack teased.

"You are too cocky, boy. If you think that we're weak enough to let you escape from here, then you will be surely mistaken." A deep voice said as he walked from the back of the crowd of enforcers to the front. He was a Silver husky like Adamine and Alsez but he was leaner but still had some very toned muscles.

Zack and Tylan broke out into a cold sweat as the Husky approached. Both assumed a very defensive posture and prepared for the worse. The husky just grinned. "So you two can feel it can you? That I am not on the level of these guys?"

Zack turned to Tylan. "This is not looking good, you can feel it can't you? That overwhelming feeling of danger. He has tapped into the galactic stream, but he isn't a destined. What the hell is going on?"

Tylan growled as prepared to make an escape. "Nancy, Cindy stay close!" Tylan said as he raised his swords.

Zack jumped in front of them though. Zack smiled as the enforcers raised their weapons at him and he just caused his fur to glow at its brightest. The entire S under D force was stunned at the sight and they lost their vision. When they managed to open their eyes again the group they were chasing had managed to get away.

Out in the halls making a run for it Tylan was trying to contact Leon but was not getting through, Jamison however was securing a spot for them to teleport out of. Fred was also not responding.

"Man this mission has gone down the drain. What the hell was with that guy? He had the same presence I felt when I first met King." Tylan said as they ran.

"Well then, that should give us our answer. King as part of Aogroth inside him. If you were feeling the same sensation, then it has to be..." Zack trailed off.

"Then The Kami of Servus has revived, and he can give his power out. S under D is about to make some major moves." Tylan said solemnly.

"But can't we expose them now? Didn't we get enough evidence?" Nancy said as she followed the two boys.

"Much good that will do now. You guys were fighting the wrong fight the entire time. S under D currently has a member in over eighty percent of all government agencies. A few of them there are only S under D members. Benjamin Ville, and Jake Taylor tried that but Jake..." Zack was saying before he was interrupted by a hammer attached by a chain smashed into the ground in front of them.

The group stopped in their tracks and turned around to see three huskies behind them. The one who threw the chain was the same one Tylan and Zack were fearing while he was flanked by Alsez and Adamine.

"You think your little trick was enough for you to get away? Don't underestimate me!" The husky said as he recalled his hammer. The other two huskies armed themselves with pistols.

Tylan raised his swords and Zack took on a posture to defend himself. Nancy and Cindy both drew their fire arms. The husky just threw his hammer straight at Tylan who tried to deflect it with his sword. That was a huge mistake, the hammer came at him with so much force that he couldn't keep his sword in hand and it got knocked right out while also damaging his wrist.

Tylan jumped back but had no time to recover as the hammer came at him again, but Zack managed to jump over and punch the hammer away. Nancy opened fire in a panic towards the husky who jumped away from the bullets.

"Tylan, are you okay?" Zack asked as he saw Tylan holding his paw.

"I can still fight but my wrist is shot at the moment." Tylan noting that his wrist was swollen but he didn't think it was broken.

"Man, we aren't prepared for this kind of fight right now." Zack groaned as he assessed the situation. Nancy was just firing away at the husky but no shots were hitting. Cindy stood away waiting a chance to strike and he and Tylan were about to be at the mercy of Adamine and Alsez.

The two huskies aimed their pistols at them and prepared to fire but were stopped when the guns were shot out of their paws by Cindy.

The feline just gave a smirk, as Alsez and Adamine had to make a quick retreat. Nancy had ran out of bullets and the husky had taken aim at her with his hammer but Cindy shot a bullet straight at the husky who had to dodge, causing his hammer to miss its target.

"Guys get out of here, I can hold these guys off for a while." Cindy said as she got in front of everyone and pointed her two pistols at the huskies.

"Cindy? You can't be saying..?" Nancy said surprised but then she looked over to Tylan and Zack and saw the pain that Tylan was in. Nancy gripped her pistol. "Ty, go!"

"Nancy?" Ty questioned as the two girls stood in front of them.

"Zack said it best. The fight is changing, and we are best working in the shadows but the kind of fight you are about to begin is not one we can be of use in. So go, this will be where I make my stand!" Cindy said with such confidence that both Tylan and Zack were taken back. Nancy was hesitating but she nodded as well.

The huskies were having none of it and began their attack but Cindy responded quickly she shot both Alsez and Adamine in the leg and then a few shots at the tiger preventing him from aiming his hammer properly.

"Cindy, I forgot how much of a bad ass you are." Nancy said as she reloaded. Alsez and Adamine were a bit surprised by the display. They never knew that Cindy was such a quick marksman. The huskies started growling a bit.

"You seem to use your head more than the others but you are not getting away from me." The husky threatened.

"You are right I probably am not getting away but, they sure as hell are." Cindy said as she readied herself. Tylan was pulled to his feet by Zack. "Let's move"

Tylan grabbed his wrist and looked back before holding his head down and hesitating but he had to move one.

"Dammit not again!" Ty muttered under his breath as he ran away.
