Poke U Side Chapter: Campus Tour

This story will take place in Heart's point of view, before Rex arrived at the campus. Heart gets a personal tour from the RA, Gao the Zoroark. Besides the normal things a university has, Heart learns a little more at the climactic end of the tour...

"Poke U. So this is what a big university is all about. Looks nice from what I can tell but hmmm, where is that guy? He was supposed to meet me here fifteen minutes ago." I started to pace around impatiently, looking at the different buildings that surrounded me. I noticed various species of other Pokémon walking around, going about with their busy academic lives. I hear some running coming towards my direction and I turned my head to that sound.

With a panting voice, an approaching zoroark said, "Heh...sorry I am late there...Mr...umm..."

"Heart," I quickly answered him with an annoyed look. "The name is just Heart."

"Right, Mr. Heart," the zoroark began to say. "Well, my name is Gao and I am your RA for your dorm floor." He reached out his paw in an attempt to shake my hand.

I grabbed and shook it, giving out an annoyed sigh as we finished our greetings. "I don't want to impose on anything, but what were you caught up with?" I asked.

"Like any college student," Gao started to reply. "I overslept. I mean, I swear I had my alarm clock set for us to meet, but I guess I hit the snooze button. I had to run from our dorm, which is like half a mile from where we are currently standing, so give me a break."

"But you are a zoroark, you should run pretty fast." I responded, with a slight sarcastic tone. "Just because you can take on the form of other Pokémon, does not mean you walk at their speed. You are no magcargo from what I can tell."

Trying to act with composure, Gao said, "Fine. I'm sorry for being late, but let's get this tour started now."

"Heh, finally," I said, giving Gao a smirk. He looked back at me and just rolled his eyes and we began our tour of the campus.

My name is Heart, and as you can tell, I recently got accepted into Poke U. I am from the tyrantrum species of Pokémon, but I am only five foot ten and weigh pretty decent for my build. I am not super ripped like some jocks, but I am not fat like a snorlax either. My chest and abdominal region are pretty toned out, and my leg muscles are noticeable. Sadly though, my arms are not as toned as I would want them, but I guess that runs with my species. Stereotypical, right? Anyway, I am glad to start a new chapter in my life, get to experience the "college experience" as they say. I have tried out some things before, academic or not, and I am curious to see what I can find out. I also wonder who my roommate will be, since I requested to have a dinosaur-like Pokémon to hang around with. Who knows, maybe we will get along with each other, in more ways than one. And if he doesn't, well, let's just say, he will learn to.

"So Heart," Gao started to say. "Welcome to Poke U. Our campus was founded in 1969 by Dr. Mu. We cater to every sort of major you can think of, from artistic design, to biochemistry, to electrical engineering. You name it, we will most likely have it."

"What about majoring in sex?" I asked, in a not-so-innocent voice. I could see Gao was taken back, giving me a weird look. I gave him a weird look back, but also smirked at him.

"Haha, very funny there Heart." Gao responded. "If you want to major in that, you need to go talk with a counselor, and I recommend seeing a therapist while you are at it. But if you want to know the closet thing at our campus, major in Psychology or Human Development then. Anyway, I'll just mark the important buildings that you see. We will go over halls later when we look at your course schedule."

"Sure sure," I said, shrugging my shoulders. We continued to walk, looking at the vast scenery the campus offered. I saw other Pokémon species around us, like a dragonite and a garchomp discussing about various dragon type moves with each other or an aggron and a tyranitar talking about their football match later this term. I turned my head back to Gao, and I could see his back and his long red hair. I continued to stare at him, looking over all his features from behind, but his attire blocked most of my view. Gao then quickly turned around, pointing to his right.

"This here Heart, is what we call the Memorial Union or MU for short," Gao said. "You will find our bookstore here, where you can purchase books for your classes, as well as testing supplies and other things you may or may not need for school." I nodded my head, my eyes now beginning to check out his face. He has a decent looking face. I mean, he does have that weird red lipstick-ish mark that Zoroarks have around their mouth, but other than that, he looks pretty normal. "And over here Heart -" Gao pointed to some stairs, "this is where our bowling alley and arcade is. We call it the Memorial Union Games Area or MUGA for short."

"That sounds pretty cool," I said. "Nice to have a bowling alley actually on campus. Are you any good at it Gao?"

"Well," Gao started to respond. "I do not want to toot my own horn, but I bowl a consistent 200 every now and then. I did bowl for my high school, and we won at least one title compared to all the other high schools in our district during my time on the team."

"Heh, I see. That means you have a pretty firm grip then," I said, looking at his hand and giving him my signature smirk."

Gao looked at his hands and pretended to grip an imaginary bowling ball. "Yea, you can say that," Gao said. "I still think I have my form and everything. My grip on the ball was really good."

"Bet you are good at gripping other things as well," I said in a whisper-like chuckle.

Tilting his head, Gao asked, "You say something there, Heart?"

Shaking my head, I said, "Nah, nothing of importance really, just that I need to work on my grip if I want to be good."

"Ahh, okay, but anyway, let's continue with our tour," Gao replied. Heh, almost was a little too forward their with that response of mine. Need to work on not letting things slip out when they shouldn't.

Gao continued the tour with me, taking me past the MU and towards a super big building with glass windows. On the front of the building, it said Gastro J. Shieldon library. "This is our library Heart. Here, you will find many books on reserve from classes that you are currently enrolled in. This is an alternative to buying books if you prefer to just read it here. Also, we have a 24-hour study room if you prefer to study here and not at your dorm's community room or even your own dorm room. During midterms and especially during finals week, this place tends to be packed. So, I recommend you either plan ahead or don't fall behind in your studies."

"I see, ok, cool." I said. "Glad to know that. But for the library, is there any place that has like soundproof walls for group studying?"

"Umm, I believe so," Gao replied. "From what I can tell, the walls are really good at blocking out sound and there is no vision of what goes behind the wall, so no one will disturb you. However, the librarian and other staff may come in and check on you to see if everything is alright."

"Ah, okay, gotcha," I said. "Well, at least the rooms will be quiet enough if I ever need to do some intense studying."

"That's correct," Gao started to say. "Anyway, let's keep moving." Gao and I continued the tour. As we were walking, I decided to have my eyes wonder down to his lower limb and perineal region. My eyes wondered to his buttocks. He has some pretty nice glutes there, guess he likes to also keep himself in shape. Gao then quickly turned around, pointing to another building. "And what you see right behind me Heart, we call it the Depot. Here is where you will find a congregation of people as well, but mainly around lunchtime. We have some fast food restaurants such as Ludi's Taco Express, Staryu's Jr. express, and Ty's Pizza Express. It also serves campus made food such as salads and sandwiches, called Simply Roselia. Oh, and the coffee shop there, it's called Starmie's."

"Ooo, sounds cool, but I feel like I would start to get fat if I eat there every day," I said. "I don't want this to lose too much of its form." I rubbed my stomach as I made that last statement."

"Eat here in moderation," Gao replied. "I mean, I eat here on occasion, but I would prefer to go for Roselia's, since it's organic and all."

"And about this place, how crowded did you say it can be?" I asked, giving Gao a slightly puzzled look.

"Well, it can be crowded around 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM," Gao said. "I would reckon it would be tough to find a table all too yourself, so just ask if you can sit at a chair and I am sure the students are friendly enough to allow you to sit with them."

"Dang, it's that crowded," I exclaimed.

"Yea, crowded to the point that if there was a fire, only fire Pokémon would make it out perfectly fine," Gao chuckled. "Anyway, let's start heading to the dorms area now, since that is the end of our tour, and your schedule should be back there. Hopefully you got into all of your classes you requested."

I nodded my head, giving him one last smirk before he turns his head around, and we continued on our tour to the dorms area. The path from the Depot to the dorms room actually took quite a while. As we were walking, my eyes wondered down to Gao's legs and footpaws. They look pretty muscled and strong, would definitely like to see what they are capable of. My eyes continued to stare at them, and, at the corner of my eye I saw Gao was looking back at me, giving a little smirk to himself. After seven minutes of walking, we finally reached the dorms hall.

"And here is where you will live, well technically," Gao said. "This is the main office, where you can check your mail, and the dining commons is right upstairs to this place. The actual building you live in is over there -" Gao pointed to the purple building amongst the other chromatic colors, "that building is named Tasuku. We need to have you checked into the main desk, to get your course schedule and the actual room assignment you will be living in. But in the mean time, do you have any other questions?"

Thinking a little, I said, "Well, you said the dining commons is here, what's in there?"

Face palming, Gao said apologetically, "Oops, my bad, I completely forgot about that. The food here at Poke U is actually quite good. The dining commons serve various food from different regions. We have food from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos. I like them all, and I recommend getting the Leer Style Hoagies from Kanto Kooks whenever they serve it, they are to die for."

"I'll remember to keep that in mind," I replied. "But the food sounds promising. Coming from the Kalos region, I have a good idea of what food they can serve, but I do wonder about the other five regions, never had their food all too much in my lifetime."

"Oh, you will definitely like it, once you try it," Gao said, giving me a pat on my shoulder. "Do try stuff from the Unova region, that is where I am from. We have some pretty good food as well, such as the Coil Wraps from Unova Utensils."

"Ahh, okay, thanks there Gao," I started to say. "I'll be on the lookout for those things. But yea, let's worry about food later, and about my room?"

"Heh, someone sure is eager to see where they are going to spend the next four plus years of their lives," Gao remarked. "But yea, let's not fuck around now."

"Yea, with only two guys here, can't really go far now can we," I jokingly said, but gave Gao a sly wink and smirk. I heard a soft chuckle from Gao, but he brushed it off and we continued into the building. Once there, we met the receptionist, a Jynx.

In a sassy tone, she said, "My name is Lana, student resource advisor and what can I do for you two boys today?"

"We are here to check in Heart, Lana," Gao said. "Just finished the tour and he would like to know where he is going to spend the rest of his academic life at."

Nodding, Lana replied, "I see, well here." Lana looks up Heart's information on the computer and after a few minutes, pulls out his student I.D. and a piece of paper and gave them to Heart. "Don't lose your I.D. now you here. We can replace it up to four times for ya honey, but you will need it to get anywhere at this campus. Your meal plan is all loaded in there, along with your door key and access to the library during after hours."

"Thank you," I said and gave a slight bow.

"Sure thing honey," Lana responded. "Come here if you ever need help, and we will do our best to serve you."

We both waved goodbye and both of us saw a small bench. We sat down on it, scanning the paper for my schedule and my dorm assignment. I read out loud, "Let's see... I got calculus, physics, economics, & biology. Doesn't seem like too hard of a load, but who are any of these professors. Do you know any of them Gao?"

Gao quickly looks at my paper and notices one of the professors and said, "Oh, biology with Dr. Kain. He is a pretty chill dude. He's from Hoenn and he's a sceptile. I had him and learned a good deal of biology from him. Although, he mainly talked about plants."

"Oh okay, well, I am okay learning about plants," I said. "Even though they are sort of boring, would rather learn about non-plant Pokémon."

"Yea, you and me both," Gao started to say. "But anyway, let's check what room you are in." Gao grabbed my schedule and stared straight at the bottom of the page. After a moment, he opened his mouth in shock, but shrugged his shoulders and gave a sigh. "Well well, I guess I will be watching up on you more often now."

"Hmm what do you mean?" I asked. I quickly grabbed my schedule back and read the room. My schedule luckily displayed the layout of the floor of where I am living on, and it showed me room, in the corner of the building, right across from Gao's. "Oh...I see...well then..."

"Heh, guess things happen for a reason," Gao stated. "But, let's at least let you see your room and whatnot. Oh and by the way, you will be only sharing with one other person. So just you and him most likely. We do not do co-ed rooms, for obvious reasons."

"But I don't think that will stop people anyway," I said.

"True, but we still try our best to make sure safety is number one here," Gao replied. "Let's head out now, a little tired of just sitting here." As Gao stood up and stretched, I could finally see a frontal view of him, but my eyes quickly wandered down to his groin area. I swear, I can make out a bulge starting to form. Wonder what made that appear.

Gao and I exited the building and headed towards the actually dorms. He quickly guided me through the first floor, pointing out to the different students that live on our floor, ranging from a charizard to a feraligatr to a swampert. I did inquire him about why there are some many "starters" here, and he just said to me that it was just luck of the draw. We finally arrived at the end of the hall, and I can see both my door entrance and his.

"And here we are Heart," Gao said. "Let me know if you need anything, since I will be in my room, just resting my throat from all that talking and my legs from all that walking." Gao bent down a little and rubbed his legs.

"Ok Gao," I started to say. "I'll be sure to let you know if I do need help with anything. Thanks for all of your help today."

Chuckling, Gao responded, "Heh, no problem. Well, see you later." Gao opened his door and started walking into his room, waving his hand back as if saying goodbye. As I was turning around to open my door, in the corner of my eye, I noticed that his door did not make a click sound. I also saw a weird glint in his eye while he was closing his door. Wonder if that is just how his room works, or if it means something else.

I walked into my room and it was as I expected it to be, bare and void of anything. There were two long twin beds, long enough to fit me at least from what I can tell, but not sure about my roommate. There was also a dresser, a desk, and a chair for each of us. In the middle of the room, right beneath the window, there was a fridge and microwave on top. The walls were painted a nice cream color, so as to not make the place look dark. I started to unpack my things, placed them all away neatly and made my bed and desk looked as organized as possible. I have a personal OCD about having things clean, since a messy room can tell a lot about a person's personal hygiene and whatnot. I also hung up some posters I brought from home, showcasing some cool looking dinosaur pokemon, such as Rampardos and Aurorus. Once everything was settled, I changed out of my clothes and decided to just kick back on my bed and take a nap.

During my short rest, I started to have a weird dream. It was like, I was in one of our dorm rooms, but it was not mine from what I can tell. The room was mostly dark, and numerous posters were on the wall. Looking at them, I managed to see a mew, a mewtwo, a lugia, an entei, a celebi, the lati twins, and I think a jirachi. There were other posters too, but they were hidden in the abyss. There was only a single bed there, and a rather big one at that. Reckon it might be a queen size, or at least a full size bed. I could see the bedding was of a mix of black, grey, and crimson red colors. I began to wonder whose room is this now, since it does not look like a room that students would have, mainly to the fact there is only one bed. I could see myself stepping in closer, noticing a laptop opened on the desk and the chair inviting me to sit on it. I tried to make out what was on the computer screen, but a dinosaur-like pokemon sucking off the cock of some sort of fox-like one. I thought to myself, what the fuck is this shit. I attempted to approach the laptop, but I heard the door behind me swing shut and a shadowy figure pounced on me....

"Ghuahh!!" I gasped, opening my eyes and quickly sat upright, looking at my surroundings. "The hell was that all about," I said out loud to myself. "That is one messed up dream." I kept on scanning my room, to see if anyone entered while I was asleep. I looked at the other bed, and it looked the same as I entered, void of any life. "Hmm, I should be the only one here, my roommate would have at least woke me up to say hi if he came, but what the..." As a result, the door crept open, making that eerie door creaking sound you hear in those horror movies. I thought to myself, ugh, what is going on here, did Gao forget to lock his door or something? I started to slowly enter the room, and looked around to see if Gao was present. As I stepped in the room, I noticed the scenery looked a little dark, granted that the lights were turned off. I noticed right away, a rather big looking bed, possibly a queen or a full... Wait a minute, don't tell me. I started to panic a little, scanning his room a little more, noticing that his bedding were of grey, black, and a reddish color. My mind started to wander. What the hell is going on here, this is too coincidental. I tried not to look at the walls, but my eyes betrayed me and there they were, posters of pokemon such as a mew, the lati twins, and an entei. I began to have a weird feeling build up inside of me, but I decided to brush it aside. Smirking, I said, "Haha, very funny, very funny there Gao." I tried to listen to a response, but I heard nothing again. I gave out a sigh, and tried to look for that one last clue...

And there it was, sitting right on top of the desk, an open laptop. Thinking again, I said to myself, Yea, this must be a joke, there is no fucking way this shit is real. I slowly crept over to the desk and the inviting chair, trying to see what was on the screen. And there it was again, two pokemon pretty much going at it, but from what I can see now, I can make it out to be two male pokemon. And upon further inspection, I could see a tyrantrum sucking off a zoroark. Jumping back a little, I said to myself, _The hell, that looks like me, and is that..._Before I could even think my last thought, I heard the door click behind me. I quickly turned around, but was pounced upon by some shadowy figure.

I struggled with the shadowy figure, kicking and trying to bite it with my big mouth. But, every time I tried to do any physical harm to it, I seem to constantly miss, like all my attacks just go through it. I started to yell, making loud noises, trying to draw the attention of my floor to see if anyone will come help me. All of a sudden, I heard a quick shuffle of footsteps outside the door, and the locking mechanism to it clicked open. I managed to see the figure as Gao, and he turned on the light switch and the shadowy figure that pounced on me began to dissipate into the light.

"Ugh, what in the world are you doing in my room Heart?" Gao asked, staring at me in a confused and agitated look.

"Well...ugh...," I said, stuttering. "You.see..."

Giving a sigh, Gao responded, "You know better than to go into an RA's room. That is completely off limits and against the rules. Heck, it's against the rules to even enter someone else's room period."

"But Gao," I started to say. "You said if I needed anything to come and talk to you, and I did at least knock on your door first. I mean, you left your door unlocked, and I thought maybe you needed some help, since you were not responding."

Giving another sign, Gao said, "I was using the restroom. But still, you should not enter anyone's room period. I mean, what if you were to get hurt?"

I gave an annoyed look back, complaining, "Oh yea, it seems I would only get hurt from entering your room. I mean, what in the world was that?"

"Oh you mean the shadow," Gao started to say. "It's part of my ability, Illusion. You'll learn more about that in biology with Professor Kain. But, long story short, I can create an illusionary scene, and I use it as a trap, to ensure that no one enters my room. And if you are wondering, I did get it approved by the school to allow me to protect my room from intruders, since my illusions do not cause any physical harm. Although, mental scarring is a possible side effect of my illusionary attack."

Calming down a little, I said, "Oh okay I see, but still Gao, that thing scared the living daylights out of me."

"Well, teach you to come enter my room without permission," Gao responded. "But anyway, since you are here, come take a seat on my bed and ask me what's on your mind." Gao gestured me over to his bed and I plopped myself onto it, with him sitting at his chair, positioning himself so I cannot get a clear view of his laptop. "And also," Gao pointed at my entire body, "Why are you like, undressed?"

Looking down at my body, I noticed that I went into his room without any clothes on. Thinking a little bit, I had to decide whether or not to tell Gao a blunt explanation or should I beat around the bush. "Heh, funny," I started to say. "Anyway, after you left, I went back into my room and unpacked everything, such as putting away my stuff and hanging up posters." I could see Gao give me a nod. "Something the matter?"

"Well, I mean," Gao said. "It is your room after all, and you are at liberty to dress how you want. But be mindful when your roommate comes in, and that both of you guys are ok with that idea, if you intend to keep going to sleep as you are."

Nodding, I said, "Yea, I'll make a note of that. But anyway, I had a weird dream." I saw Gao raised an eyebrow, curious as to what this dream was about. "It was like, I entered a room, and it was dark. There was a bed, a big one, just like yours." Gao started to shift a little in the chair. "And there were posters of pokemon, such as the ones you have. Not sure if they were a carbon copy, but they damned sure look the same." Gao raised his arms and shrugged his shoulders, but gestured me to continue on. "And there was a laptop on the desk. It showed umm..."

"Hmm?" Gao asked. "What did it show Heart?"

"Well...you see..," I said with a slight embarrassed tone. "I saw like a dinosaur and maybe a fox just...ugh....getting to know each other better."

"And how were they going about doing that" Gao inquired.

Quickly, I said, "I don't know. By the time I tried to get a good glimpse, a shadowy figure, just like yours, pounced on me and I woke up." Gao gave me a confused look, but for some odd reason, I felt like he was faking it. Like he was trying to put up a charade as to conceal something.

Gao started to clap his hands together, having his claws click against one another, like he is deep in thought. "Hmm, I see, I see," Gao said. "Well, that is indeed a weird dream. I mean, dreams like those normally do not happen. I'm no doctor, well at least not yet, but maybe you are suffering from something hidden inside of you."

Shaking my head, I said, "No, I do not think so. I mean, I got nothing to hide, really. I am pretty open with everything, but maybe it is just adjusting to the college life and what not."

Still clapping his claws with each other, Gao responded, "Hmm, mmkay. Well, if that is what you think, I mean, you are welcomed to stay here for a little while longer, maybe just calm yourself down before you leave. I am not doing anything important, so don't worry about me." As Gao started to turn back to his desk, I was able to get a quick glimpse of his laptop again. I focused my eyes, squinting a little, and managed to see the actual image on his laptop. And my suspicions were correct, I saw a tyrantrum giving head to a zoroark. Whether or not it was me, I could not entirely tell, but I could have sworn that tyrantrum resembled me and the zoroark resembled Gao. I started to shift a little in my seat, feeling a stirring in my groin area. And in the corner of my eye, I could have sworn that I saw a sly smirk from Gao.

Because Gao leaned forward, his laptop light was exposed to me, giving me a clear view of his screen. I saw that same image again, that tyrantrum giving a blowjob to a zoroark, but then it all of a sudden, it changed.
