Enthesia

Imagine a world where animals evolved into more human like creatures, a world where all can communicate. It might seem hard to imagine but it's not that hard in Enthesia, it was called earth a few hundred years ago. You might know the history of human evolving from ape like creatures to what we are now, in this case other animals evolved to, in fact all animals have evolved into what we today call anthropomorphic creatures. Basically they are animals with human features. Well that is what our history teacher said to us if we were to explain what the creatures are to another dimensional world where Furries don't exist.

My name is Nagato, I am a 11th grade high school student. I am just a normal human though I have a wolf like tail which is normal in Enthesia. My mom is a human but my dad was a Siberian husky and that is why I have a tail. It is completely normal for humans and furries to be together and have children. People of my sort are called Hostia, human beast in Latin. There are many kinds of Hostia some have one or two beast or features and some get more. I was born with dark yellow eyes and beast hearing though I wish I had smell and taste too. Remember I said that all animals evolved? I wasn't lying but some actually couldn't handle the evolution so they eventually died out before we came to a time where we could assist them, those animals elephants and giraffes from what our teacher said, he mentioned that they were the only two animals that extinct from what everyone knows but of course dinosaurs died long before the whole evolution apocalypse.

???: Wa....w-....wake up.....Nagato! WAKE UP!

Uhh... W-where am I...Gosh I'm so tired.

???: Nagato class is over get up now.

As I opened my eyes I directly understood what was happening of course I fell asleep again.

Nagato: God geography is so boring I couldn't help but fall asleep.

Kino: Every single time god Nagato if you fall asleep again you won't pass the exams soon, *Babel* Babel*

This is Kino my class mate, she is from some rich snob family which last name is hard to pronounce she is also in the school council and sometimes a big pain in the ass when it comes to organizing something like festivals, but still she is an old friend of mine. Though she doesn't know it I know that she is in love with Aki the schools most popular guy though he is a big douche bag of a white tiger which reminds me Kino is not a Hostia she is a full beast because her parents both are tigers, hmm... maybe that's why she has a crush in Aki because he also is a tiger, who knows I don't even care since I'm not interested in girls I don't have anything to lose.

Kino: NAGATO!!! Were you even listening to me?

Nagato: EH? Yeah, so... what are you going to do this weekend?

Kino: ... It's Saturday tomorrow...

Nagato: Oh yeah I forgot... Do you want me to come with you tomorrow there?

Kino: Nah, I'll be fine. I'm over it but thanks.

Kino's mom died three weeks ago, I remember when I was at her funeral Kino cried 3 days and didn't even come to school for that. I was visiting her a few times to lift her mood a bit but I think it didn't really help her that much.

Kino: So what are you going to do then? I heard that Shun invited to go to the camp, you should go with him, Hihi.

Nagato: ... Hey what that giggling for, yes I got invited so what I'm not going with him and you know that.

Kino: Aww.. Come on I know that you have a thing for him so don't waste an opportunity, you guys were such good friends what happened to you.

Nagato: It's none of your concern, it's just its awkward to be with him I mean you wouldn't go to the camp with Aki ether would you?

Kino: The hell? Of course I would, I'd never let that slip through. C'mon give it a chance.

Nagato: Fine see if I care, but the camp is only next week because it's break soon.

And so we chatted like always until we arrive at the triangle with three roads my house is on the left while Kino's is on the other side and she also has to take the bus because it's far away. Heading to my way you pass this huge forest which has a little village that's where I live, there is nothing much to do there but it is quiet since it is connected to a city not far away from the villagers don't need to have any cars, everyone who lives there just goes to the edge and takes the bus to where ever they want to. Kino said that shun and me were good friends and that was true but the reason we parted away that much I don't really remember why myself truth to be told.

''Mom! I'm home!'' When I came back home I rushed to take of my shoes, my feet hurt so bad after today's running marathon at school. God I've never felt such a pleasure of taking my shoes off, the freedom finally. ''Nagato! Hurry wash your hands dinner is almost ready.'' Hm? Do I smell ramen!? O gosh I've waited for it so much that I forgot it was today. I hurried to wash my hands and change my clothes when I got down I ran through the living room into the kitchen. ''What? M-Mom are we having a guest today?'' As soon as I ran into the kitchen I noticed that there was not two but three plates and the table was fancy looking today. ''Oh! So you already noticed eh? Well I have a surprise for you. Your dad is back!'' What how rude of her not to remind me.. But it was a surprise after all, wow I really didn't expect this. I guess I owe you an explanation; see my dad works in the army and we don't really see him that much because he is a Colonel which is a high grade in the army. ''Nagato! Come here you little.''

Nagato: Ow ow ow! Stop it dad, Heheh.

Dad: So how are you?

As we were asking each other how we were we sat don't on the table as soon as mom brought the food, we were talking the whole time and he was telling stories usually he is over exaggerating them but I know he did it for fun. I don't have any problems with my dad but it's just me and mom rarely see him, I mean his salary is high but is it worth it? The day passed and before I knew it the time was almost twelve, I was so tired that I didn't even bother to brush my teeth I just wanted some sleep.
