My first ever submission, a story between a husky and an akita, hopefully you will enjoy it.
------- Hi everyone! I have jusy a few things that i want to get off my chest before the actually story begins... You may call them disclaimers if you like This is my first story EVER!!! English is not my native language( i am a Norwegian), so my story will not be as complex or a piece of linguistic art. But i hope atleast you guys find it a worthy first attemp on something, atlest worthy enough to give it a glance ^^. And do please comment, both good and bad critics are welcomed. if i ever make any more attempts of writing something, some feedback should help me progress. "Hey, Benji! Just the guy I was looking for"
The Husky twitched his ears and turned his head around, seeing his supervisor come walking up behind him. He smiled, as he always did when he saw Tanya, having quite the crush on her.
Tanya was an Akita, with short light brown and white mixed fur, and quite the wellshaped girl, with subtle curves, beeing showed off in her white blouse and dark blue skirt. She was looking quite professional tho in Benji's eyes, she looked like the most beutifull fur in the whole wide world. "Did you get the chance to take a look on the Jensen account?" she smiled, catching up with Benji. "Yes i did. I looked for you in your office, but you weren't there. So I left the file in your inbox basket on your desk. All taken care of and ready to get signed." The husky replied, smiling, wagging his tail gently about.
Benji was a black and white marked husky. With the usuall curved tail and dense yett soft fur. Being 6 feet 2"inches tall, Tanya had to look slightly upwards to peer into his blue eyes. The husky kept himself in shape, being slender and abitt toned, but far from being bulky.
"Yeah, I was in the copyroom getting some prints out for a report due before the weekend." Tanya noticed his waving tail, making her smile.
"Speaking of the weekend..."
The Husky felt nervous of what he was about to say next. She was the CEO of the firm and also his direct supervisor. But he had been tormented for weeks about wanting to ask her out and decided that after yett another week of dinners alone in his apartment his head filled with thoughts of her and dreaming of being with her. he thought he would go crazy if he didn't atleast try to ask her out. Frankly he didn't think he would be able to forgive himself if he didn't atleast and she might find someone else. He was hesitant, he chancing his career and the friendly relationship they had "What about we go out together this weekend, just you and me?"
She looked alittle surprised at Benji's offer. Her smile went away, replaced with a thoughtfull frown as she crossed her arms and lifting a paw to her chin. She scratched the chin with a thumb and looking over Benji, thinking over the proposal and to see if he was serious about his offer and not just being his normal silly self. She saw that his tail had stopped wagging and he looked kinda nervous as she realized he ment it for real.
Meanwhile Benjis thoughts were in turmoil, thinking of all kinds of "what if she says no"s, and "what if she says yes"s, what if she considerer this inappropriate behaviour in the workplace and fired him? He thought he was about to faint with nervousnes, before he saw her smile again.
"I would love to go out on a date." she smiled "But right now I need to rush to a meeting, so talk to you then."
Benji could belive his ears as he watched Tanya walk away. "I'll call you, so i know when to pick you up!" he called out to her. Before turning and grinning from cheek to cheek, doing alittle of a celebratory dance back to his cubicle, opening his desk drawer and taking out an Energy bar that he had been having there for a while, treating himself to something tasty.

Benji almost choked on his energy bar, as his german shepherd friend snuck up behind him, leaning on the cubicle wall.
"Damn, Jason. You almost gave me a heartattack." Benji chuckled, spinning his chair around to face his friend. "Don't avoid the question, you scared little kitten. What got you so happy all of a sudden? did you finally learn how to paw off" The shepherd smirked.
"You know, Tanya?" The husky smirked back, ignoring the usuall taunting is perverted minded friend leashed out.
"Tanya? You only mean our super-hot boss whom we need to report to on regular basis or we lose out jobs? Nah never heard of her." the Shepherd snickered and ruffled the fur ontop of Benjis head.

"wh-whu-what!?" the sheperd stuttered clearly shocked at the news "Better close that maw, before it gets unhinged and stuck that way." Benji grinned as he lifted a paw up to close Jasons maw, then booping his nose.
"How did that happend? Never mind. I am just too jealous to stay here with you now, you lucky dog." Jason said, leaning off the wall. "Well, I gotta get back to work, but you better tell me how it goes, Fluffycheeks." Jason smirked as he turned and walked away.
Benji rolled to the cubicle opening and stuck his head out. taunting back "Hey! You know I hate that nickname, Sergeant Wetnose!"
Benji snickered as he rolled back to his desk, hearing a groan from Jason down the hall in response of the nickname. Benji grinned as he continued to type into his computer, wagging his tail around, accidently knocking over a paperbin behind his back, while humming a cheerfull tune. Trying to concentrate at the task at hand, trying to make time fly, until he could go home and get ready for his big date.
Benji sat down in his car after work and started up the engine, starting on his drive home. He had an Old '68 charger, in the original red color, that he inherited after his father had passed away a few years ago, it had a torn drivers seat, and worn marks on the steering-wheel and the stick. Even tho most people wouldn't call it fancy, but Benji liked it original, so he keep it that way with all its charismatic flaws, and he was proud that he had managed to not give it a single dent or in the long life of the car.
Well home, he opens up the appartment door and walks in, dropping the keys in the bowl by the entrance. Walking to the livingroom he spots a familiar face and smiles. "Hi there, Sarah. Didn't think you would be home yett." Sarah was his little sister, being a Husky aswell. She shared most of the same traits. Black and white fur covered her body. Looking quite a lot like a female verision of Benji. The only real defining diffrences they had were that she had green eyes where Benji had blue, aswell as Sarah Had a black roughly lightning shaped marking on his chest. Sarah had quite the slim figure, with an hourglass figure, and subtle curves, getting enough attention from boys, to Benji's grief as the big brother wanting to protect his little sister from the corrupted mind of boys her age. Being the older brother and she the only family he had left. He was very protective of her and had insisted on her living in his spare bedroom across the hall of his, so he could keep her close.
"Yeah, a friend gave me a lift home. So I didn't have to take the bus." she looked up from the tv-screen, where she was snuggled up under a blanket in the corner of the couch. "Been a good day at work?"
Benji grinned widely from ear to ear at the question. "The best, actually. Got my self a date with Tanya, and got Jason jealous at the same time, wich is rare." he smirked.
Sarah frowned. "Tanya? is she not your boss? And when are you guys going?" she said sitting up in her seat.
Benji sighed, she always interrogated him when he got dates, tho they were rare and usually long inbetween, if she had not been his sister, he would have suspected she wanted him all to herself, atleast that was what he teased her with if he felt too many questions were asked. But he guessed it was just sisterly concern.
"Don't you worry, you old worrywart." he snickered giving her a wink. She grumbled at the nickname. "You know, you've met Tanya before when you have visited me in the office, so you know she is a good girl. But now I need get to the shower and get ready, The date is this evening." He walked past her, noticing her eyes linger on him as he left the livingroom but didn't pay it any mind.
He undressed in the bathroom and tossed his clothes into the hamper, taking a quick glance in the mirror, having to admit he looked good in his birthday suit, if he so had to say it himself. He jumped into the shower and turned on the water letting it run alittle to get warm before stepping into the stream. He soaked himself up before applying fur conditioner and shampoo, wanting himself to look the best for his date. He scrubbed his pelt thouroughly all over. Back in the hall Benji stared back at the closed bedroom door, alittle surprised by the sudden turn of events. Benji smiled. "Well I do try to take good care of it, as it's the only thing I got left from my oldman. I just hope I will be able to take even better care of you." he winked at her smiling as she blushed, the car rolled into the restaurant parkinglot.
Once parked, Benji hurried out and ran around the car to open the door for his date. Tanya smiled up to him and tok his offered hand and even gave him a kiss on the cheek. "So sweet of you." she waved her tail gently while they walked in the entrance.
Having talked for abitt while eating, coming easy as they knew each other quite well from work, they was having a cup of coffee before leaving, the bill laying paid on the table.
