Valentine's Surprise

It was morning, A Garchomp woke up yawning as sun shine bright out the window. He looked at the person next to him in the bed. A Heliolisk sleeping soundly with a smile across his face. Today's Valentine's Day, the Garchomp thought.

You said we have long drive ahead of us so hurry up." Kenji grinned at the Heliolisk's excitement.

Later on the road, Tyson took in sight even though he's been in almost every part of the region.

"So Kenji, where are you taking me?" Tyson said with curiosity.

"If you wanna know, we're going to Village Bridge."

Tyson raised an eyebrow. Despite his job, he's actually never been at Village bridge before. He heard stories about it holding a festival this time of year but never thought about it or got the chance to go. Kenji said he would go there a lot when he was on holidays. This should be fun as watch the scenery ahead.

It's was 6:00 pm when they arrive at the Village Bridge. Tyson never thought about what it was. He always thought that the Village Bridge was just a weird name for the town, but it turns out that the village is the bridge. "So that's how the place got it's name. What's the story behind it?" The Heliolisk ask with curiosity. Kenji, grabbing his jacket, said, "As much as I spend my time here in my younger days, I never bother to ask. Tyson responded with a I'm-not-amused-face. "Okay, let's just go eat, that sound okay?" Tyson, realizing that they had not eaten anything all day, quickly agreed and they head off.

Tyson was surprised by what this place was like. It's residents greeted everyone with care, not to mention the food they make. I guess that's no surprised since this place is a bridge also, he thought. What does Kenji find so special about this place is beyond him. He ponder before Kenji call out to him, Hey Tyson, come try this." Tyson was then given a hammer and looked at contraption before him. It stand at about 14 ft tall. Kenji sat at the bench together, watching everyone enjoy themselves around the festival. Now's the time, Kenji thought as he looks at the clock. Tyson began to sigh until a familiar claw slowly grab his hand.

"I came here a lot when I was soldier. One day it I decided to explore the area around and found this spot. It gave off a pretty good view and no one knows about this place." Kenji said as walked up behind the Heliolisk. "Tyson, Happy Valentine's Day." He turned around to see Kenji holding a bouquet of Gracedia Flowers. The Heliolisk gasp in surprise.

Tyson said with curiosity, "But how did I not see the this big bouquet?"

Kenji responded nonchalantly, "Before I was soldier, I worked at magic shows. I knew tricks most other magicians did not. I found boring and joined the military."
