The Doom That Might Have Happened

Author's Note: This story is a non-canonical "what if" version of a SoFurry-exclusive reader-driven adventure, which can be found at https://www.sofurry.com/browse/folder/stories?by=254&folder=34652. The story is what might have occurred between entries 3 through 5, if the main character, Rufus, hadn't been a good guy.

Characters:

Rufus - A tall, broad-shouldered, grey-furred anthropomorphic wolf. Muscular and shaggy, and also slightly scarred from various fights, though most of the scars are hidden under his fur. Wears earth-toned armor, a fur loincloth, and a fur cloak, and wears a bearded axe and a two-edged sword on his belt.

Marlene - The party leader. A beautiful teenaged half-elf with slightly pointed ears, long, supple legs, dark blue eyes, and wears her upper-back-length platinum blonde hair done back in a simple ponytail. Her ears are slightly pointed. Wears mostly cream-and-gold-colored clothes, and carries a crossbow and a spear across her back. Her body is perfectly smooth under her clothes, her skin lightly tanned, her bottom firm and rounded and well-suited to running and jumping, her breasts the second-largest in the party, after Regina - plump handfuls, but not really large by any means.

Deriny - A brash and perky human girl with long orange hair that she ties back into two long twintails that fall over her shoulders in the front, her hair going down to her waist. Normally she wears bright green robes, which match her eyes. She has freckles on her face. Without clothing, the freckles can be seen to run over her shoulders as well. Deriny's body is small and compact, without much muscle tone, and she has smallish breasts about the same size as Leta's - smallish, but nice-sized palmfulls. She trims her body hair short, so only has a little orange pubic fuzz.

Leta - A brown-haired human girl with short hair that just barely goes past her neck, and brown eyes. She wears tight-fitting, knee-length brown leather shorts and a tight white t-shirt that exposes her flat, firmly-muscled midriff with its visible "sixpack," and wears black suspenders, as well as fingerless gloves and heavy brown boots. Without clothes, she's slim, toned, and fit, with a slightly boyish look to her body, and smallish breasts, though they're clearly visible - about what you'd expect to fit in the palms of the hands. Leta doesn't shave, so she has more pubic hair than the other girls, though this still isn't a whole lot.

Morgan - A very fair-skinned human girl with bottom-length golden blonde hair (darker than Marlene's) and light blue eyes (lighter than Marlene's). Wears a red schoolgirl uniform blazer over a white blouse, and also wears a red knee-length pleated skirt, with white bloomers beneath. Carries a double-barreled shotgun on her back, and a rapier on her belt. Without clothes, Morgan is very petite and quite flat-chested, though her nipples are also quite visible, and look very suckable. She has an especially perky and squeezable-looking bottom and fairly short legs. She has only a tiny amount of pubic hair.

Regina - A black-haired girl whose hair runs just past her shoulders in two tightly-braided pigtails. Wears a brown nun's habit, which only barely conceals the fact that she's the most busty of all the girls, and round glasses. Carries a short flanged mace on her belt, and wears a fairly large golden ankh around her neck as a holy symbol. Under her clothes, she's also the most hairy, with a decent bush on her pubic region, and a shapely figure, while still being somewhat girlish, since she's the same age as the other girls, all of them in their teens.

Gnolls - Spotty-furred hyenalike people. Notable gnolls are: Urta, a tall and muscular female with an enlarged clitoris, which looks like a penis (based on real-life hyenas), and the leader of the gnolls; One-eye, a stoop-shouldered gnoll with numerous scars, and an eyepatch; Horse, an obviously stupid gnoll who is also the biggest of them, with a penis to match. Most of the gnolls are male, except Urta, and while Urta's false penis is pink in color, most of the other gnolls have cocks that are a very dark red or various shades of brown. For all of the gnolls, their default expression is a sort of wicked good humor, grinning toothily, with their tongues often slightly extended.

Adel - A small, petite chipmunk girl (she is fairly flat-chested, but has a very cute butt) with large blue eyes. She looks a great deal like Princess Sally Acorn, except with dorsal stripes, she wears armor and carries a sword and shield, and her hair is shoulder-length. Adel is only roughly half Rufus' height.

Adel: Are you sure they won't follow us?

Panel 4: The gnoll who was holding Deriny's wrists is now standing to her side in the background, holding her wrists fully up with one hand.
