Folfy Tails Chpt 5 - One Crazy Night
#5 of Folfy Tails
Here it is the next chapter of Folfy tails, And probably the last part for a little while. I'm going to take a break from it to rebuild some umph for it and to work on another project I'm working on. But here this is, and i hope you all enjoy it <3
Tenke's world was turned upside down after the fight with Ishtaar. After Keerka went home, the folf started to put the dresses and undergarments away before shutting himself in his room. He lay curled up on his bed, holding the stuffed cougar tightly. His mind scoured over the wolf's words. Deep in his heart, Tenke worried that Ishtaar was right. That Anki was hitting on people behind his back. It hurt him thinking about it, gripping the mountain lion tighter he balled up and fell into a restless sleep. When he woke up a few hours later, he saw his phone had exploded with half a dozen messages.
They were all from Trek and Ishtaar. He skimmed over them, not really absorbing what they said. He sighed and closed his eyes after he glanced at Anki's profile picture. It was one from the night of his birthday. I'll always be there for you, Tenke. I mean that. Whenever you need me don't hesitate to call.
He opened his eyes and felt like a weight had been lifted off of his shoulders, Though he knew it wouldn't last long. Quickly he started typing a message to the wolf, asking if they could go out somewhere. Snapping the phone shut, he rolled over and closed his eyes again, drifting into sleep once more while he waited for a reply. When he opened his eyes again, he saw his phone's light flashing. Opening it again, he saw Anki's reply as well as another message from Trek. Yawning, he rubbed his eyes and read the message from Trek first.
Sure, Where'd you like to go?
-Anki
I don't know. We could go up to the ridge.
-Tenke
Tenke yawned again as he hit send and wiggled his tail, his heart beating hard in his chest. Ignoring the feeling, he opened the text from Trek.
Hey bro,
Where've you been? I haven't heard from you in a while. Everything going okay? -Trek
Yeah, Things are okay. I've just been having a lot of things going on. I'm going to talk with Anki later, maybe I can clear the air between us.
I'll let you know how things go.
-Tenke
Tenke's heart skipped a beat as he typed the message half way when he heard a jingle as Anki replied to his message. He finished the message, hoping that it'd just been Ishtaar making things up. He sent out Trek's message before reading Anki's simple text. All he had to do was wait now. He got up and gathered clothes off of the floor, hearing a clatter as Ishtaar's mask fell back onto the floor.
Tossing the clothes away, the folf quickly picked up the mask and looked it over. Staring into it's empty eye sockets for a long moment. Soon Ishtaar's eyes started to fill the void. Gritting his teeth, he stared into the eyes for a few more minutes until he finally had enough. Lifting it up over his head, looking to smash it against the wall. When he heard the doorbell ring, he stood motionless. When it rang again, he sighed and dropped the mask back into the clothes. "Coming!" he called out and walked quickly to the door.
Tenke opened the door to reveal the wolf standing there. "Heya foxie, how are you doing?" Anki asked with a big grin.
Shrugging, "Not great to be honest. Just a lot of things to get off my mind. But can we go to the ridge first?" he said, putting up a paw as Anki tried to walk into the apartment.
"Uh, sure, what's up?" He turned back out and walked down to a little Honda coupe. "My car's in the shop, so had to borrow my dad's car."
"Ah, no wonder I didn't hear you pull up." Tenke said, a smile coming across his muzzle. "They climbed into the smaller car and drove out of the city and carefully into the mountains. Neither canine spoke until Anki parked in their usual spot overlooking the city. "I-I'm....I'm not sure how else to say this...so," He flicked his tail softly and looked down at the dashboard, gently rubbing his finger in circles, making mindless patterns in the dust. "Are you..." he swallowed as his heart froze. "Are you seeing anyone else?"
Anki's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. "T-Tenke. How could you think that?"
Tenke broke down, but didn't fully start sobbing, only sniffling. "I-Ishtaar. He was saying you were flirting with other guys. I-I didn't know what to think, I-I couldn't help but...but worry." he said softly, his body shaking lightly.
Anki lowered his ears and pulled Tenke over slightly, turning to face him fully and kissed the top of his head. "Tenke...I would never, NEVER hurt you like that. I don't know where he gets that." Anki continued to rub Tenke's shoulders. "Honestly, hun. Anyway, he's probably just jealous, hear he's been bar hopping for a few nights now." the wolf forced a chuckle, trying to lighten their mood. Lifting Tenke's muzzle, he pressed a gentle kiss to his muzzle. "I promise I will never hurt you in any way, pup." he said to reinforce point. "I love you Tenke, so much."
Nuzzling into the white wolf's side, he flattened his ears. "I love you too, Anki. I-I'm sorry..." He whispered and wiggled his thick tail.
"It's okay foxie, everything's okay."
The pair of canines spent the afternoon in the car, chatting about nothing. When it was time for Anki to go to work, Tenke decided to join him. "Heh I'm fine with that. Long as you don't drink me out of house and home." He chuckled, enjoying the sight of Tenke's fur fluffing out while he blushed profusely.
Upon entering the club, the pair were greeted by a busty squirrel. She smiled at them as she pulled on her denim jacket. "Hey, Anki, You're coming in late."
"Yeah, Was out of town. How's the crowd tonight?" Anki asked as Tenke stood close behind him.
"They're surprisingly rowdy tonight, be careful, hun. Watch out for this wolf." She said pointing vaguely towards the bar before turning to leave. "You have a good evening boys." She waved and pushed open the door.
"Heh, I suppose it's nothing new. Take care of yourself, kay?" Anki kissed Tenke's muzzle before they walked through the employee doors and Anki walked up to the stage and relieved the current DJ.
"Okay, I love you." Tenke returned the kiss, and made his way to the bar. He was greeted by the same tender as last time. They shared some pleasantries before Tenke took his drink and turned around to meet a wall of black fur. Looking up, he saw Ishtaar's grinning face, the pungent smell of alcohol coming off of him. "O-Oh, Hey Ishtaar. How are you doing?" He asked, receiving an incoherently slurred answer. "That's good." The folf replied and rolled his eyes slightly after he turned around to face the bar again. His ears were turned back as Ishtaar mumbled again and the folf felt the wolf's arms snake around his chest and pull him back off the stool. "I-Ishtaar, knock-Knock it off!" He barked and struggled against the wolf as he was pulled towards the dance floor, spilling his drink all over his front. Finally he managed to fight off the drunken wolf. "Dammit Ishtaar, what the hell is wrong with you?!" He barked and stormed off towards the bathroom.
Ishtaar followed him into the restroom and spoke slowly. "Whash wrong? I'sh jursht wan yew. Wan shee whasht we cud hash hat." He stepped forward and pinned Tenke against the sink. "Jursht thish one time." He growled out lowly and grabbed Tenke's hips and pressed his lips against Tenke's in a less than passionate way. He gave off a soft moan as he forced his tongue into the folf's muzzle.
Tenke groaned and pushed against Ishtaar's chest as the wolf continued to force himself on him. He managed to get their muzzles apart and took the opportunity to yell out. "H-Help! HE--!" His scream was muffled as Ishtaar's fingers wrapped painfully tight around his muzzle, clamping it shut on his tongue. Tenke whimpered as he fumbled with both of their pants, tears streamed down his cheeks. Closing his eyes tightly, Tenke felt his shorts fall from his waist. And a split second later the door flew open, slamming against the wall and Ishtaar was ripped off Tenke's body. Falling to the floor, the folf looked up to see Anki standing between Ishtaar and himself.
"Are you okay, hun?" Anki barked out as Ishtaar threw a devastating punch, causing the white wolf to stumble a few steps. Tenke could only nod and whimper as the pair continued to fight. Each fought back with heavy blows, blood spattering their fur, clothes and the walls from the brutality of their attacks. Finally Ishtaar took the upper hand and drove his shoulder into Anki's chest, slamming him violently against the door, making him fall to the floor. The black wolf came forward, his leg swinging at Anki.
Tenke's eyes widened, he dashed forward, slipping and falling between the pair and received the full force of Ishtaar's kick to his right side. He heard a cracking sound inside his ears and fell down onto the tiles, yelping out in pain. He curled up tightly and held his side slightly.
Ishtaar shambled back, looking down at the scene before him. T-Ten....Tenke?" his body shook. He looked down at the smaller canine, then at Anki's bloody fur, and finally to his blood soaked paws. "O-Oh god..." He mumbled and turned to the stall, climing on the toilet seat, he managed to squirm out of the small window in the back wall.
Tenke whimpered and tried to move before a hot pain shot through his chest, making it hard to breath. "A-Anki..." He whined and closed his eyes before trying again, a little louder, this time hearing the wolf stir behind him.
Tenke? Oh No, Tenke!" Anki gasped and moved over the folf, being careful with touching the younger canine. "Damn him." He cursed under his breath and gently patted his mate's hair. "Hang on, You're going to be okay." He whispered and scambled for his phone. Dialing the emergency number, "Yes, I need an ambulance, I'm at the Shadow's Dance club." He barked into the phone quickly and contined to gently pet Tenke's head. "It's okay, pup. They're coming. You'll be okay." He said softly to the young folf.
The ambulance was there in only a few minutes. They carefully strapped Tenke to a stretcher and wheeled him out of the club. A ferret male looked over Anki's blood stained fur and led him out as well. "You'd better come with us, too." He said and ushered the wolf into the back with Tenke before climbing in himself. As the older ferret took care of Tenke, a young tigress intern treated Anki's minor wounds, a few cuts that needed cleaned. And brusies that were already starting to form. Once she was finished cleaning his fur, she took Tenke's patient information before asking. "What happened tonight?" Looking up at Anki once she finished the final details.
It was a normal start at work. Then I saw our fri- Our ex-friend drag Tenke onto the dancefloor...." He said, telling the entire story in as much detail as he could. As soon as they reached the hospital, Tenke was taken by the ferret and other surgeons, leaving the wolf standing alone in the hall; watching the door that Tenke was taken through. The tigress showed up behind him.
"Why don't you go rest in the lobby. We'll send someone for you as soon as they're finished." She said and patted his arm. Ankie could only nod before he walked down another hall and found the lobby. Slumping into a chair, he growled inwardly, pulling his paws to his face, he started to cry silently, but his body shook visibly.
Anki was curled up on the chair when the ferret came out, a mask hanging from his neck. Shaking the wolf. "Anki? I came to let you know that Tenke came through alright. He has a few cracked ribs and his floating rib was broken. Luckliy nothing was punctured. He's coming out of anastesia and will be ready to go tomorrow. You may come and see him now if you'd like." He stood up. Anki only nodded and followed the male to Tenke's room.
Looking into the room, he saw Tenke was already sitting part way up, his right arm held in a sling. The folf was looking up at the tv monitor, a dazed look in his face. Anki knocked and smiled softly. "Hey Tenke, How're you feeling?" He walked into the room, sitting down on the folf's left side.
Tenke looked over at the wolf and smiled a silly, drunken smile. "Hey, Love." He whispered, hardly audible above the tv, even at its low volume. Tenke took Anki's paw and whined weakly. "Oh, hun. Your pretty face." By now Anki's face was more noticbly bruised, his left eye shut most of the way from the swelling.
"This? It's nothing, hun. As long as you're okay, That's what matters." he smiled and gave Tenke's paw a gentle squeeze. They turned their attention back to the television. "The hospitals going to be holding out over night, Just to make sure everything's okay." He explained. "Then tomorrow we'll get you mooved out of that apartment." He said, his ears stuck out sideways.
"O-Oh okies." Whas all Tenke said and smiled with the same grin, and turned his head back to the TV.
The following Morning, Anki wheeled Tenke out to the parking lot where a Taxi was waiting to take the canines back to the club. When they retrieved Anki's car, they took a slow drive to Tenke's apartment. "Wh-What are we doing here? I figured we were going to your place?" He turned to the timber wolf, obviously forgetting the coversation they had last night. Tenke's voice held a small whimper, his ears pulled flat against his head as his tail flipped about in the seat.
Anki rubed Tenke's thigh softly and smiled. "Relax, hun. We're just here picking up your stuff. We'll just be in and out" He smiled reassuringly before leaning over and kissing the folf's cheek.
"O-Okay." he said softly and slid out of the car seat with a soft hiss of pain. "Lets do this quickly then..." he whined again and looked through the window. They walked into the apartment, seeing that it was empty. "I guess...I guess Ishtaar's out still." He said and waved his large tail.
"Yeah, Looks like." Anki said quickly and sighed. Grabbing a duffelbag, he started throwing stuff into clothes into it. Tenke helped Anki mostly by watching because every time Tenke would reach down to pick something up, Anki would sweep it up. "It's okay, I've got it, hun. You just relax." He said with a smile. Picking up a large bundle of clothes, and heard a clatter as Ishtaar's mask fell onto the floor once more. Anki's eyes flashed to it and growled out. "Bastard." The wolf lifted a hind paw to smash it.
Tenke yipped out and quickly picked it up. "N-No...I-I don't want you to break it." He whimpered and held it in his paws, wiggling his ears "But..." he sighed and turned it to look away from himself and walked out to the kitchen, setting it down on the counter. "He was such a god guy, I-I had thought--I had though that maybe..." He whimpered and turned away from the counter, wrapping his arms around himself. "Wh-What happened?" He sobbed before he felt Anki's arms wrapped carefully around his middle.
"It's okay pup. Things like this happen all the time. Everything will be alright." He reassured Tenke. "Let's finish up and get you home." He smiled and kissed the top of the folf's head.
They held each other for another few mintues before going back to pack. They filled the back seat and were just about to leave when Keerka ran up to Tenke, tears streamed down his cheeks as he fell down into Tenke's arms. "K-Keerka, What's going on?" he barked and whimpered as he looked down at the panther. The young male whimpered, but said nothing, closing his eyes and becoming limp. As Tenke witnessed this, he whimpered softly and looked down at the boy's face, seeing his muzzle was covered in blood. Looking down at his apartments, he whimped. "Anki...we have to take him home. I don't think he's safe going home." He whispered, turning to see the wolf nod. Tenke pulled Keerka into the car onto his lap, groaning softly.
Anki looked down and gently rubbed the some blood off of the feline's muzzle. "Poor guy, what happened to you." he asked the unconcious boy.
Tenke shook his head as they drove out to Anki's place. "I can only guess. His father was than happy with Keerka a few days ago. They want him to live their life and I'd have to guess that they found out about him wnating to deviate from that even more." He sighed heavily. "Gods, what else can go wrong this week?" he huffed and closed his eyes to enjoy the rest of the trip.
Hours after the two mates had cleaned out Tenke's room, Ishtaar walked through the door, his ears pulled back flat to his skill. He walked back and glanced into Tenke's room, seeing that it was bare. His heart dropped into his stomach. He reached in and closed the door, holding back a sob. Turning back into his room, he saw that his mask was laid nicely on his pillow. Stepping closer he whimpered and looked down, seeing a note was taped to its forehead. Tenke's beautiful handwriting simply read:
Thanks for the dance.
<3
Tenke picked up the mask and broke down, dropping down beside his bed, he began crying loudly. "Tenke. God, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." he curled up, sliding off the edge, he curled up and held the mask to his chest. "I-I'm so sorry." he whimpered once more, shuddering violently, eventually falling into sleep next to his bed, his dreams invaded by the events that transpired at the club, never giving him more than a few moments of sleep. He awoke the next morning, stretched out fully and the mask laying on his paw. He sighed heavily and pushed it under his bed. Standing up, he walked into the bathroom and started himself a shower. Climbing under the stream, he groaned, dried blood coming off his fur and spiraled down the drain. Ishtaar shuddered strongly and grabbed the fur shampoo and scrubbed himself avidly. He walked out only after the water got cold, not bothering to towel himself off before stepping out. "What the hell am I going to do..." the black wolf huffed heavily and grabbed his cellphone out of his jean pockets. He started typing a message to Tenke. When he was finished he hovered his digit over the send button. "D-Dammit." He closed his eyes and pressed the button firmly. He opened his eyes again and looked at the phone as it beeped, showing that it had sent. Only time will tell now...I'm sorry. Ishtaar thought and lay down on his bed and thumbed through their older messages to wile away the long hours of the day, hoping for some sort of response from the folf.
