Option C comfort Paul and check on Qerry
Zack stood there dumfounded for a moment, Reggie stepped forward and rolled the captain over onto his front; to prevent his swallowing his tongue. Zack could hear his friend snarling and growling, “he'll be ok, just a stun." The hyena grunted as he glanced up at the rabbit.
Unable to process everything that had happened, less than an hour ago he had been just waiting for Qerry to heal, enjoying some time with Qieth and Daisy. Now he was a prisoner with a very probably death sentence. His eyes fell on Paul the cheetah's face was drenched in tears already as he stared at the closed door the Captain, Digsy and Karlos had left through.
The rabbit took a step forward and put a paw on the feline's shoulder. Paul jumped at the touch and turned to look, “I'm so so stupid." Whimpered the feline his eyes wide and glassy as he blinked, letting his tears fall, too beaten to even try and hide it.
Unable to help himself Zack pulled the feline into his arms and Paul went willingly, burying his face in the lapine's neck as he wept uncontrollably. Zack didn't say anything, there was nothing he could say, no way to make this better. He just held the shaking body and let him cry.
He saw a familiar face approaching, Qerry looking rattled but intact a small streak of blood running down his face from where the rifle butt had hit. The panda didn't speak he just pressed up behind the cheetah and the two held the lost boy together. Qerry stole a kiss off Zack's cheek and gave a weak smile.
After a few minutes the sobs of the cheetah began to fade, Qerry moved his muzzle to Zak's ear and whispered, “it's going to be ok." Zack couldn't help but smile, his love's optimism hadn't been quenched by the hopelessness of their situation.
As he opened his mouth to reply he heard something behind him, “don't you dare! Don't you fucking give in! Byron! Byron!!!!"
It was Daisy, Zack could see her desperately beating on the Naga's chest, trying to start a dead heart. He hadn't gotten to know the naga very well, he'd thought there would be time. Byron had seemed nice, confident and even a little dashing. Anger welled up inside him, the snake had deserved better.
The pink rabbit stopped and reached up to close her friend's eyes. Then she turned, her fur still soaked in blood, to attend to the rest of the wounded. Zack broke from the hug, leaving Paul to the warm arms of Qerry. He gave Qerry a quick nod as the two had a silent exchange. Then he wandered over to Daisy, she was sitting over Shep, a bloody rag in her paw holding it down on his chest. “Can I help?"
Daisy turned and Zack took a step back, he had never seen any face so wretched with pure hate and anger. Then after a few seconds the look began to fade, “nothing anyone can do, I need some medical supplies. Just a few supplies and I could have saved Byron. Everyone else is going to be ok, except Shep…" he voice lowered and she leaned towards Zack to insure the sheppard's brother couldn't hear. “if I stop his bloody loss then it's maybe fifty-fifty…"
Zack's could plainly see the blood was still flowing all too freely despite Daisy's best efforts. He gave a nod and turned walking quickly over towards one of the guards. He slowed down and held up his paws and half a dozen guns swung to focus on him. “We need medical help."
One of the soldiers stepped forward, from his insignia Zack identified him as a Sergeant. “We are not giving you scum anything without the orders of the captain or one of the other officers, now get back to your friends, or we will put you down."
As Zack took a step back he heard one of the soldiers mutter softly, “this ain't right." Only someone with Zack's ears could have heard the sort whisper, but it took only a second to locate a fresh faced young human clutching a gun, a slightly sick look on his ever so slightly green face.
The human's eyes caught the rabbit's and Zack mouthed the words, “please, help us." It was probably pointless, but at the very least he could make one of their captors feel worse, it was the least revenge he could get. The human gulped and looked around nervously, but gave no other indication that he had understood.
Turning Zack returned to his mate who was sitting down next to Paul. The tears had slowed to a trickle and he managed a weak smile at the rabbit. “At least you tried." The feline said as the rabbit joined them on the floor.
“Yeah, pity none of these bastards has a…" He paused as his ears heard the sound of the door opening and he saw a soldier hurrying out. “heart." He finished, as he wondered if he was correct.
The three sat in silence, Reggie eventually joining them. There was something comforting about the hyena, his shoulders weren't slumped and he was muttering vile threats under his breath constantly. His aggression bleedthrough was fuelling the hyena for now, though Zack worried that all it would take is one more minor problem and the hyena would snap. Zack doubted the guards would let the hyena get far, but he might take a few of them out before they put him down.
A few minutes later the door opened again and in walked another officer, he was accompanied by a guard, Zack recognised him as the one who had looked uncomfortable. The officer was clearly a commander in rank, but the red cross above his insignia showed he was a medical officer. He barked out some orders and then marched into the prisoners, “Why the hell was I not called sooner?!" He demanded as he spotted the dead naga.
Zack and his group got to their feet and wandered over to watch, as Daisy spoke to the officer and pointed to Shep. The doctor took a quick scan and announced," I need to get this guy to the medical bay." He pushed a few medical devices into Daisy's paws saying, “sorry I can't give you any pain meds, you might use them to escape, but you should be able to close and wounds and med broken bones at least. I'll need to operate on your friend."
The friendly soldier bent down and started to pick Shep up, “fuck he's heavy."
“Get one of the prisoners to help then, they look like a pretty beaten up lot, I'm sure you can handle one." The doctor snapped impatiently. “One dead prisoner is bad enough, I want my charges to live to their fucking trials, now move!"
The soldier looked around and his eyes caught Zack's, he gestured with his head, “you, please help me." Zack didn't even pause he stepped forward and put Shep's arm around his shoulder and lifted him up. They two struggling with the weight of the dog followed after the doctor as they left the cargo bay. Zack did his best to memorise every detail as they walked, every door, every sign and corridor anything that might help in an escape later.
A few minutes later they laid the dog down on a medical bed and the doctor dismissed him and the soldier both. The two walked out of the medbay and into a small empty waiting room, a large window looking out at the stars, with arrays of seats. The soldier took a seat with a grunt and waved at the seat next to him, “dunno about you but I need a break."
Zack took the seat next to the soldier with a grateful sigh. The soldier pulled off his black glove and offered a hand to the rabbit, “name's Dillon."
With a slightly confused look Zack took the hand and shook, “Zack… I would say nice to meet you…."
“Yeah, it's ok I understand, these are hardly the best circumstances to meet anyone," the rabbit couldn't help but notice that as they spoke the human kept hold of his paw, the human's thumb stroking over the fur softly. Dillon saw the rabbit giving him a strange look and blushed deeply letting go. “S…sorry, I must admit I was always curious as to how a morph fur would feel."
Seeing a chance to make a friend the rabbit leaned a little closer and held out his arm, "here you go, there's nobody here you can give it a proper feel."
He could see the growing blush on the young man's cheeks, but he didn't hesitate pulling off his other glove and running his fingers through the rabbit's fur, “wow…mmm so soft."
His lust bleedthrough told Zack he had more than just a chance to make a friend, this was a male who wanted to feel more than just soft fur under his fingers.
Ok here's this weeks choices
Option A: seduce Dillon and try to find a chance to escape
Option B: seduce Dillon and try to gain his friendship that might be used later
Option C: Just try and make friends with the guard before being taken back to the hold.
