Between Vine and Fang

While I do enjoy some things in this piece, I feel like it could have been stronger and I don't actually like it, but it is complete and I do want to release it. If people like it then wonderful, if people don't like it then I certainly do not fault anyone. It was something new in the way that, I never work with elves at all XD. Either way, hope you all enjoy <3

A gnoll stood tall with dark brown fur with spots, a bow in hand, eyes searching for prey. In a clearing the beast stood wearing nothing but a loin cloth, snorting at the air, taking in all the nearby scents; plants and not much else. The hunter was there only for food and nothing else, but he had to keep in mind that the forest was not his kind's territory. Elves had recently begun aggression against the other races who lived within and around what they considered their territory, and since gnolls were the only creatures to oppose them thus far, they weren't on good terms. Hunting parties had to be cut down to single units that were more practiced in stealth than in hunting. Krrek himself was a scout, but since the need arose, he had been training the hunters to defend themselves from ambush. No amount of training could keep them hidden for long from the elves this deep though so he had to be careful especially since the sun was coming down. He had been at the hunt for quite some time with little success with the safer routes, but he knew that the other hunters would certainly return with food. Krrek was a bit disappointed though, he had been hoping to find something more within this part of the forest, a friend that he had met in recent years. As he began walking away vines sprouted from a tree nearby and wrapped around him, pulling him against the bark. Snarling he looked up at the tree he was bound against to see an elf with curved horns and arms wrapped in thick vine, Krrek had been caught.

A snarling beast had been caught and bound. Erol descended from the tree he had been hiding in. Thankfully the beast could not discern the difference between elves and common plants or else he would have had to engage in more direct combat, but now that the beast was tied he could kill him without much pain. Really he'd rather not be killing gnolls at all, but orders were absolute. Taking the dagger from his belt he realized that he had caught a familiar face, rather, a familiar muzzle. With a sigh he brought the dagger up to his own face, balancing it left and right as he spoke, "Krrek...I thought we agreed you wouldn't come around this deep and I'd ease tensions along the border..."

Krrek snapped and snarled, "Traitor Erol, you claimed that you would foster peace, but instead your people still throw their tantrums."

A pained looked flashed over Erol's face before he sighed, hand moving through long black hair, "I know, but the elders will hear nothing of it. This is our territory and co-existence is out of the question to them. I don't want this war, I really don't, but I am a soldier. Orders are absolute Krrek....and I should be killing you."

Krrek narrowed his eyes, chest heaving as he struggled. He stared directly at the elf before him who had that dagger raised high, but as it fell he was relieved to see that his elven friend wasn't entirely a traitor. The vines fell from his body, but still he snapped as he was let down, "You could have used magic to free me..."

Erol gave a small smile, "Yes, and that wouldn't have been as fun. Listen, Krrek. You can't keep coming around here. Game is plentiful in the other parts of the forest. There is no reason you should be here especially not this deep."

Krrek placed a strong paw against the tree, claws digging in just a bit as he spoke, "The game is good here...deep in the forest there is plenty to be had and plenty to see."

Erol crossed his arms, "Yes...the forest is beautiful, but gnolls care more about practical matters than things of beauty...tell me, are your people that bad off that you risk foraging this deep? Are there other's going this deep Krrek?" he asked, genuine concern in his voice. Erol had no reason to hate the gnolls, in fact he believed that all of his kind had no reason to hate the gnolls, but perhaps for once he could not see what his own people saw.

Krrek simply gave a fang filled grin that sent a shiver down Erol's spine, "You misunderstand. I just wanted a chance at seeing an old friend, an old friend who breaks his promises...but I understand. His people are stupid even though he is great."

Erol watched the hulking furred creature before him suddenly reveal his hand. His own green eyes shone with appreciation of the beast's perfect mimicry of language, a chuckle sounding off from his own lips as he realized that the creature before him had been flirting. At the same time he had to give a hard frown at such a thing, his arms crossed, pretending he had not been swayed in the slightest by the lovable beast before him, "Krrek, I understand perfectly what you are saying, but what happened between us is the past and now my brethren could be closing in on us with the intent to kill you and if they saw me being intimate with the enemy...they'd kill me too, surely your people would do the same."

Krrek scratched at his chin with one claw, "Hrmm...Perhaps they would, perhaps they would take me to the tribune and force me to answer for my transgressions, or perhaps they would just ask me if your seed tastes like fresh fruit."

Erol again couldn't believe the audacity of the creature before him. Krrek and Erol had clashed in battle before and in much the same manner as they had met just now, Erol had captured Krrek, but he couldn't find it in himself to execute the beast. Rather than just flee that day, Krrek had followed him deeper into the forest to question him as to why Erol had let the gnoll live. It was a tiresome day, but at the end of it the two had come to appreciate each other, in one way or the other.

Perhaps it had been something he had drank that day, but Erol had fallen in love with the gnoll, a love that now he considered more of a flight of fancy than anything else. A result of his body's detestable desires and his mind's obsession with peace where he should be more concerned about waging war as a soldier. Erol had not been the one to start their relationship though, Krrek had offered him a home with the gnolls and more, and no matter how many times Erol had tried to send Krrek on his way, the gnoll continued to pursue him, just like now.

Closing his eyes he tried to change the subject, something to keep his mind from thinking about the beast before him that he had shared such intimacy with before. He spoke calmly, composed as he always was, "Krrek...go home. It was a onetime thing. A fling and nothing else."

Krrek stepped to the elf just as Erol opened his eyes. Erol could see the desire within those eyes, but the gnoll paused, not moving, just inches away from him. With a sigh he turned away from Krrek and began walking, voice low as he spoke, "There's a cave nearby....we can have our fun there, for the last time."

Of course Krrek had swayed the hand of the elf. He had done so before and this time with less effort. Even though he could feel the heat of his body rising, he needed to remember to remind the elf to keep his damn promise, or at the very least continue pressing the matter. No matter, it would be a fun moment between the two, a worthy excursion.

When they arrived at the cave, Erol was already stripping down from his clothes. Krrek could see that body he had been desiring to feel again for so long. The elf was strong, well built as any soldier should and though there were vines around his arms, he was nowhere near a frail flower. Krrek respected Erol as a warrior, and as a partner even if Erol would never truly return his feelings for fear of his people exiling him. If full on war were ever waged between the two races, then Krrek would have to spare this one, perhaps capture him and keep him like a pet.

With a single claw Krrek removed his loin cloth as his eyes took in the sight before him. Erol turned around to show himself fully, strong but still lean and still shorter than he was even if it was by a foot or so. He could see that the elf was already prepared for their fun, cheeks and ears flushed purple as Krrek appraised Erol's thick member. In the past he had taken the first action, stepping forward to be the aggressor, but he wanted to wait this time, to see if the elf would lower himself to a beast's level and indeed he didn't have to wait long.

Erol gripped at the gnoll's fuzzy sheath, tugging gently, coaxing that long canine cock out with vine covered digits that were surprisingly soft. His other hand moved to touch softly against the gnoll's cheek, vines slowly feeling over Krrek's cheek, small flower petals sprouting spreading a scent that captivated Krrek. It could have been a trap for all Krrek knew, but he trusted the elf and leaned in to the touch, closing his eyes as Erol massaged both his cheek, and his thickening member.

Krrek moved his own hand carefully to grip on to the smooth cock of the elf, gripping around the humanoid member before stroking at it slowly. It was then that their mouths opened to connect with one another's, Krrek's free hand moving to grip at one of those horns, securing their connection, tongues pushing past each other's lips to brush and twist against the other's tongue.

Despite Erol's complaints he was content to take it slow, enjoying the closeness between the two, enjoying the fact that the gnoll was so warm due to the soft dark brown fur coating his body. Erol was practically melting at this point, his hips lightly thrusting to that rough hand, enjoying the loving contact more than the texture of the gnoll's hand. At the same time his own hand gripped and tugged at the gnoll's cock, the vines connected to his body coiling and wrapping around the gnoll, spreading further and further in the most gentle of ways to signify his affection. For a moment he had to pull away, taking in a breath before returning to those lips, receiving a satisfied rumble before the beast he was courting. He could have been satisfied feeling one another in the cave for years, but he knew they had limited time and they needed to make things quick, even if his body refused to budge from where they stood.

Surprisingly it was the gnoll that stepped away first, a trail of spittle connecting their lips just as Krrek pulled his mouth off, "Come on...loosen the vines...you know we have to make this quick."

Even still the vines stayed and Erol's hand upon his cheek moved to his shoulder, gripping for a moment before slowly letting go with a sigh, "Very well...but please...one more kiss?"

Krrek couldn't resist such a request. Both of his arms moved around Erol's waist, tugging him close, their mouth's connecting lovingly, tongues again coiling, their eyes closing as their bodies shared warmth between one another. When finally they parted Krrek had to do so by nearly forcing himself off, partly because he had enjoyed the passionate connection and partly because the vines from Erol's hands were holding him in place for a moment before Erol came to his senses.

Krrek then turned from Erol, hands gripping at the walls, claws shallowly digging into the stone, his tail lifting high in the air. Erol watched this with a bit of confusion. He had figured that just like last time the gnoll would take command, but he seemed so passive this time, so willing to let Erol do as he pleased, and perhaps that was the trap. Taking careful steps he found himself feeling over the gnoll's strong thighs, hands brushing through the fur and moving up to Krrek's hips. This was his decision to make, no pressure, no hands urging him, no words to coerce him. Biting at his lower lip he gripped at his member, feeling over it gently before pressing it in slowly, purple tip pushing through the gnoll's puckered hole. Already he could hear Krrek panting like a dog in heat, the gnoll's hips pushing back at him just a bit as if to hurry him up and Erol realized then that he had to hurry even if he wanted so badly to take it slow.

Thrusting in he heard Krrek curse under his breath along with the sound of rock being scraped against by sharp claws. Leaning in he breathed out against Krrek's back, resting his cheek against it to give him some semblance of comfort as he began to push deeper inside of that tight hole. He soon began rocking back and forth gentle at first, loving as he could manage even though he knew he had to make it quick. Already he could feel himself getting desperate, he wanted to slow down even more, but he had to rush and so he began thrusting firmly, pushing deeper inside while letting out low groans that echoed off the cave walls. Again and again he pushed inside of that tight hole, his hand moving around to grip at the thick canine cock that was already twitching and hot as if it signaling the fact that his lover was close from just the rutting that he was giving the gnoll. Now he was fully inside of the gnoll, their balls touching with every thrust he gave the beast, breathing out as he did so, his grip tightening on the gnoll's cock, stroking faster to work his lover closer to the end.

Even knowing that they had to rush his own body was betraying him, his cock twitched and throbbed, spreading thick pre inside of that tight hole, but he couldn't cum. With every thrust he felt closer and closer, heat spreading throughout his entire body, but still his body refused to let him have relief. It was at this point that he became truly desperate in his thrust, pushing, shoving and pounding into that tight rear, moaning as he did so, the gnoll before him letting out a near purring groan accompanied by thick seed spattering against his hand that was working Krrek's cock. Meanwhile his own cock twitched and throbbed swelling as he thrust in one last time letting out a gasp as he finally came, thick seed pouring out inside of the gnoll's warm rear, his hips pushing again and again before finally he stopped with the ending of his orgasm.

Rather than slip free, Erol wrapped his arms around the gnoll's waist pulling himself close against that large body. Krrek let out a low rumble, chest heaving as he spoke, "Hm...I'm glad you enjoyed yourself...even if this is the last time."

Krrek then heard words that warmed his body to the core, "I don't want it to be the last Krrek..." the gnoll then turned to wrap his arms around Erol, pulling him tight to his body, shutting his eyes. Surely the war would end soon enough, the elves were a stubborn race, but surely they would see the value in peace. Even still he remained quiet, unable to assure his lover that this would not be the last, even he knew the harsh reality they lived in.

Silently, the two parted from one another to gather their clothing and equipment, Erol leading the way out of the cave. Both were now out and ready to say their final goodbyes. Erol, rather than Krrek opted for one more embrace, arms tight around those powerful shoulders, eyes shut tight for a moment. Suddenly he was pushed away, his body crashing into the ground his eyes opening just in time to witness Krrek's arm being skewered by familiar arrows. His eyes wide he yelled and ran immediately to heft his lover from the ground. It was only his arm, only his right arm that had been hit by arrows that latched on through small bramble in the tip. He turned to see his people in the trees, arrows trained on the gnoll.

Quickly he removed the growing bramble that would become a problem before bringing the snarling beast up, glad that Krrek was still healthy enough to curse. Without hesitation the elves fired again, but Krrek was already running with Erol. They had made the mistake of not taking his legs and when the initial shock of being shot had waned, he was in full panic. They had discovered their unholy union and were now most likely ready to kill Erol at any moment, and yet here was his lover running with him. Perhaps they would think that he was kidnapping Erol, but no, they had seen the elf remove the bramble from his wounds before they ruined him.

Erol grit his teeth as he ran, not turning for a single second to see if the elves behind them had given chase. He couldn't believe that they had been caught and that Krrek had been harmed. It was his own fault for wanting so much time with the beast, knowing very well that they would be caught eventually. He should have known, in fact he did know. It was his own body failing him, but he needed to push those thoughts away. Right now he needed to focus on getting Krrek to his tribe and away from the forest and even if it meant he would never see his people again, he would assure that his lover was safe.

They arrived at the tribe's camp late at night, both of them in a panic, Krrek himself in shock from the arrows that had been poisoned. What counted for healers rushed from tents to treat him while guards accompanying them detained Erol, but they were gentle, for before Krrek had gone fully under he had yelled for them to leave him be, that there was a debt to be paid to Erol, so now there he was, a traitor to his people and in the middle of a camp full of beasts who stared at him with such hate. Hopefully his lover would survive, but even then, what would he do now?
