Orava, The 17th Shaman Squirrel
#24 of Shaman Squirrel Chronicles
This story takes place in the Silvanian year 1477, which is 44 years after "Rona and her Stepfather." Rona is the mother of Orava. This also takes place 36 years before "How to Please Your Dragoness."
Orava means "squirrel" in Finnish. Veverka means "squirrel" in Czech.
Orava was a 37 year old Shaman Squirrel, who was hiking in the forest on the planet Silvania with her 7 year old daughter Veverka. Orava was teaching her daughter the shaman ways of peace and compassion.
"Mother, did you hear that?" asked Veverka. "Sounded like an animal in pain."
Orava stopped to listen. "Yes, I do hear something," Orava said. "It's over in this direction." Orava and her daughter approached the sound of the whimpering.
In the bushes was a very handsome feral red fox, who's left hind leg was caught in a leghold trap. "Oh, no," said Veverka.
"Here, let me get you out of that," said Orava. The fox looked very trusting, and seemed to know what she was doing. Orava used all her might to pry open the trap, freeing the fox's leg. "The leg is broken, but I can fix that."
Orava put her hands above the fox's broken left leg. A purple mist of energy enveloped the injured fox, and Orava's empathetic desire to end the fox's pain and fix the injury overpowered her. The purple mist dissipated, and the leg was healed.
"You're as good as new," said Orava. "You can run along now."
"Thank you so much," said the fox. "But if you can keep me safe, I'd rather stay with you, at least for a short time."
"You can talk!" said Veverka, surprised because she never knew ferals could talk.
"It's no problem," said Orava. "Want to come home with us?"
"Sure," said the fox. Suddenly, the fox started to grow, and then was on two feet, his legs getting longer. He was no longer feral, but now an anthro-fox.
"Wow!" said Veverka.
"How interesting," said Orava. "A shapeshifter! I've heard of this ability. In fact, I had an ancestor named Pinetail who was married to a shapeshifting horse. Come, follow us to our cottage."
While the fox was following the squirrels to their cottage, Orava asked, "What cruel savage would set traps out here?"
"I am being pursued," said the fox. "That's why I'm seeking sanctuary."
"From whom?" asked Orava.
"A big, ugly thing," said the fox. "With five eyes and four tentacles in place of arms."
"Sounds like a very scary monster!" said Veverka.
"Wait," said Orava, with a combination of fear and surprise. "I think you're describing a Blorik. My stepfather Orlan, who's also my step grandfather escaped slavery from them."
"Your stepfather is your step grandfather?" asked the fox.
"Long story for another time," said Orava. "Perhaps Orlan can help in the event they find you."
"By the way, my name's Derin," said the fox. The fox followed the two squirrels to their cottage. When they went inside, Derin morphed back into his feral form, and found a cozy padded chair to curl up on.
The only advanced piece of technology Orava had was a wristband which was basically a phone. She tapped on it. "Orlan, are you there?"
"Yes, I'm here," the old raccoon answered.
"I need your help with something," said Orava. "There's a fox who is being pursued by the Blorik. I know you've had experience fighting them."
"The Blorik! I'm 78 years old, so I don't know if I'll be of much help," said Orlan, "but I'll be right over."
Orlan got dressed in the same clothing he had kept since his arrival on Silvania 53 years earlier. Zara, a 435-year old Mammalian Dragon, a companion of the Shaman Squirrel clan for centuries, waited for him. Orlan hopped on Zara, and they flew off towards the home of Orava.
Orlan came inside to see the fox curled up. "Is this who you're hiding from the Blorik?"
"Yes," said Orava. "His name is Derin."
Derin woke from his slumber. "You should probably hide me somewhere," he said. "I know they're coming."
Orava was able to pick up the fox, and cradle him in her arms, since he was still in feral form. Under a rug, there was a secret door on the floor. She opened it. "Hide in there." Derin complied, scurrying into the chamber under the floor. Orava covered the door with the rug. "Veverka, you should stay in your room."
"Yes, mother," Veverka said.
About an hour later, there was a big pounding on the front door of the cottage, and a crash. Three ugly Blorik barged into Orava's cottage. Each had 5 eyes and four tentacles on their sides. The leader said, "Where's the fox?"
"What fox?" said Orlan. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"You lie!" said the leader. "Our biosensors detect his DNA."
"Well maybe your equipment is wrong," Orlan said.
"Wait," said one of the other Blorik. "I know who you are. You killed my father!"
"Oh, really?" said Orlan. "Let's see if I care. How's this for technology?" the raccoon said, holding up his communication band. "This is my Care-o-Meter. It's reading is zero!"
"Seize the raccoon!" said the Blorik leader. Before the other two Blorik could seize him, he back punched them in their faces, sending them outside of the cottage. Then he grabbed one tentacle from each of them, and quickly tied the tentacles into a knot.
Orava snuck behind the leader, and hit him as hard as she could with a frying pan. Stunned, he did not see the fox in his anthro form coming at him with a knife.
Outside, even with the two Blorik tied together by the tentacles, they were still a brutal force, whipping Orlan with their tentacles while he was giving them blows in their faces.
"Zara, kill!" yelled Orava from the broken door frame. Zara was normally a peaceful creature who would only kill under two conditions: someone's life was in danger, and she was commanded to. Hearing the command, she swooped down on the pair of Blorik, her lethal claws stretched out. She grabbed one of the Blorik, ripping off the tentacle that was still tied to the other one. Then she bit into his chest and swung him right and left furiously like a rag doll. She did the same to the other one, flinging him forcefully into the forest. Nobody messes with the friends of a Cygnan Mammalian Dragon.
Purple blood oozing out of his back, the leader was still determined. He held Orava with his tentacles. "Not on my watch, you five eyed freak!" said Derin. He took out his dagger, slicing off the Blorik leader's tentacle that was taking Orava hostage. Then he proceeded to stab the Blorik several times in the chest, finally killing him.
"Oh, how can I ever thank you?" said Orava.
"No problem," said Derin. "Can you help me drag this ugly thing out of here?"
"I'll try," said Orava.
When they dragged the body outside, they noticed the carnage.
"Zara, good girl!" said Orava. Then she went to Orlan's limp body. "Oh, Orlan, he was so brave." There was a tear in her eye.
Orlan moaned, and blinked his eyes. "Still am," the old raccoon said. "I might need your shaman magic, though."
"I didn't think you'd make it," Orava said, as she put her hands over the old raccoon. A purple mist enveloped him, and the healing began, lasting several seconds before the mist dissipated.
Orlan got up. "Thank you," he said, standing up and dusting himself off. "If I was younger I could have handled them all by myself." He turned to Zara. "And thank you, old girl, you saved my life." Zara nodded and smiled. Orlan then mounted her back, and they flew off, while Zara was holding the dead bodies of the Blorik in her claws. She dropped them into a large lake, and proceeded to Orlan's cottage.
Back inside Orava's cottage, Orava, Derin, and Veverka stood looking at the damaged door. "I can fix this," said Derin. "Shouldn't take too long."
Only a couple hours had passed, and the door was as good as new. "Thank you," said Orava. "About earlier. You saved my life from that nasty Blorik."
"I'm glad I did," said Derin.
"You can stay permanently if you wish," said Orava. "You can sleep in my bedroom."
"Sounds good," said Derin. He followed Orava into her bedroom.
"It's customary for female Shaman Squirrels to mate with their heroes," said Orava.
"You want to mate with little ol' me?" asked Derin.
"Yes, for more reasons than that," Orava said. "You are very cute."
Derin blushed. "Why thank you."
Orava slowly removed her leather bra, exposing her furry breasts.
"They're very nice," said Derin. He morphed into his feral form. Orava responded by kneeling down so he could reach them at his much smaller size.
"Lick these," she said, caressing one.
Derin started licking Orava's nipple, causing her to moan. Then, she seductively waved her tail back and forth. "Please, breed me in your cute little feral form," Orava said.
Orava squatted further down so the fox could reach. He started by humping her thigh, his penis poking out of his shaft. Then he eased upwards, grabbing her hips with his paws, and using her tail for leverage. Then, he finally poked through the destination. Orava moaned feeling the little fox's member go inside her. "Deeper," she said.
"Unh, I'm trying," he said. "Is it alright if, unh, I morph?"
"Yes, please," said Orava.
As Derin shifted into his anthro form, Orava felt him get bigger inside of her. "Ooh, yes, so big now," she said.
Derin continued to thrust in and out of her in the natural position, his paws on her hips. Orava's tail was draped over Derin's back while squirrel and fox both moaned in pleasure. "You're... unh... so hot and beautiful," said Derin.
"Oh.... yes... thanks," said Orava.
"My... Knot," said Derin."
"Ooooohhhhh," said Orava, experiencing the strange but awesome sensation of Derin's knot. This sent ripples of orgasm throughout her body, and she released her feminine juices all over her new lover and her bed.
"Oh, yes," said Derin, "here I go," as he ejaculated copious quantities of fox sperm into Orava's womb. He then dismounted, his canine member still locked into Orava. Facing away from her, they were tied in typical canine fashion.
While tied, he morphed back into feral form. His sperm was still squirting into her as he was hanging from her, his feet on her thighs. Then, he got off.
"Oh, my foxy," said Orava. "That was so good. Stay with me."
"I will, Orava," said Derin. "I will."
