The raptors are restless again.
No cameras this time. Not everything must be captured for others to see. This is their moment to gather and prepare to migrate.
You look to one side. The T-rexes Charles whacked off on camera are feeling him up. They’re telling him something strange happened while they were filming that scene. Mixed signals. They saw him as both a human and a raptor. They see him as a raptor even now, but when they feel him, it doesn’t quite add up.
“I am a raptor,” Charles keeps saying.
T vouches for that.
So does J, who is talking with the raptor who participated in the laying video. He is telling J it was X’s idea to start cutting each other as a distraction. If J didn’t realize what was happening, he would have pushed him around to face the clutch so he could see. J nuzzled him in reply. The improv had worked well.
X had had the film reels developed. Everyone sees raptors defending their eggs. Even X had to concentrate to see a human in those shots, but after a while he didn’t want to anymore. The way Charles moved. The way he reacted. Yeah, he’s a dinosaur. The community has accepted him. The state has registered him. J and T have already prepared him for his life to be uprooted upon returning home. C doesn’t seem to mind. There wasn’t much to uproot anyway.
He will have to drive his car back, as there is no way he will keep up with the migrating dinosaurs. It bugs him, but he seems able to accept it now.
Your flight leaves tomorrow. Your job is waiting for you. Secretly, you were hoping you’d be fired so you’d have no choice but to look for another, but it seems your excuse was enough to take the time off.
You look at the book in your lap. Page after page of dinosaur slits. Your handiwork, each signed by the dinosaur you painted.
Someone on the makeup team took pictures of all of dinosaur mattes and organized them into a book for you. A parting gift, even giving you the 35mm negatives so you can make copies if you ever want to blow them up to poster size, in their words. You smirk at the idea. You wonder if an art gallery will go for it.
You pause at the page showing E’s slit. As if summoned, E sits next to you, nuzzling your cheek.
“You did well kee[p]ing u[p] with R’s trail.”
You nuzzle him back. “And you looked good dancing as a compy.”
He looks down and recognizes his own bits. “Oh, nice!”
“I know! What a wonderful souvenir! They really did like me!”
“Co[mm]a, you were the talk of the [p]roduction. Whenever so[m]eone was having a [b]ad day, they would look at you wearing your adorable flashlight hat, [p]ainting s[m]elly dinosaur slits, and they’d feel that [m]uch [b]etter.”
You bap him on the snout. He licks your hand as you pull it back.
R sits down next to you. You cup his pecs and trace the muscles up his neck as he mouths yours.
He looks down at the pages between your lap. “You [m]ade E’s junk look so good.”
You flip to the page showing R’s. “Yours, too.”
The tip of R’s penis is peeking out, one of several dinosaurs who did that for the book.
“Yours is the juiciest,” you continue. “I notice you didn’t sign it.”
“I did,” he huffs. “I closed the [b]ook around my cock.”
You raise the page to your nose and sniff. “Holy—!”
R nuzzles your neck with his snout. E nuzzles your other side.
The flock of raptors is becoming more and more restless. E and R nuzzle you one last time and then join the herd. Pack mentality takes them, and they become one with it.
Charles is among them, moving with them. Somehow a human has been accepted as part of the raptor flock. You flip the pages in your book and stop on the only page showing cock and balls, signed with his new registered name, Charles-38652.
X is not the only one carrying a backpack. R is helping with the haul back to Ohio. You have a feeling the extra weight will only make the cuts between his muscles even deeper. You look forward to editing the footage. It’s sure to be one hell of a video.
Then you remember you just helped make a blockbuster film. You are curious how Jurassic Park 2 turns out. Hopefully better than the script. The dinosaur POV sequences may be the only parts that save it.
{This is the end of Arc 2. Thanks for making it this far. The third and final arc of the story is in the works.
