Spyro, Flame, Camry, Sam, and Mark all flew away from Warfang. They had gotten the location of the settlement from some of Flame's dignitaries, and were heading in that direction.

“They want to violate not only an ML code, but also many of their laws, Warfang's laws, Triad's laws, and even general dragon laws. I saw we toast them, and go back, Mark and Star are next for ascension, and need to get ready." Sam spoke.

“When it is time for you to get ready for your ascension, just go, it's more important right now." Spyro told Mark.

“I won't just leave you." Mark replied.

“We'll be fine, two immortals and two kings can do pretty much anything." Spyro replied.

“Speaking of which, how is it?" Flame asked Camry.

“It's weird, I feel like nothing has happened, but I can use a new element, and heal faster than normal." Camry replied. “It's really hard to notice any difference."

The settlement came into view, and everybody silenced.

“I don't care who were fighting, guy's night is guy's night, we need to do them more often." Sam called out.

“Why are you so obsessed?" Mark called up at him.

“Back at my tribe, all of us in the same age group would get together and just take off, go look around just have fun, it's an old tradition I want to modernize and continue. Also, were not going to be doing much for a while, so we might as well enjoy it, that's why the girls are having them like, once a week." Sam explained.

They quieted back down and approached the settlement, there were a bunch of dragons milling around, some were doing work, while others were just chatting. The group landed in the middle of the compound, and were greeted by a group of enthusiastic dragons.

“Hero, we thank you for gracing us with your presence." One of them cheered.

“My king, kings." Another one stepped forward. “Why, may I ask, have you come? We weren't expecting you; I mean."

“We wish to speak with whoever is in charge." Spyro told him.

“I'll go get him."

Five small, robed, dragons landed suddenly next to them. The leader took off her hood and walked up to them.

“We came as soon as we could."

“Why? What for?" Flame asked.

“We will serve as a mediator, the unbiased opinion from the temple of Warfang." The priestess replied.

“Wait, doesn't the temple worship ethereal powers." Spyro asked.

“Well, yes, mainly, as well as aether." The priestess admitted.

“So, the king of the magic you worship, who is not only a friend, but is also the grandfather of my mate, is the one you really worship?" Spyro smirked. “That seems like a bias."

The priestess paled. “Nonetheless we will still remain unbiased."

“And he's a black dragon, imagine that." Spyro turned to the others.

The dragon that left to inform the leader returned and nodded to them.

“The main room is ready."

They nodded, and walked into a large building facing the center of the compound. The main room consisted of a large table, surrounded by hundreds of seats. There were some dragons spread around the stands, and there were five dragons sitting at the main table. The dragon sitting at the head of the table and smiled and nodded to them.

“To what do we owe the pleasure of your arrival?" He asked

“We're here about a certain… Petition." Spyro grumbled.

The leader's face fell, and he looked over at his companions.

“Ah, yes, I'm sorry to have to do this to you guys, but it is necessary. I represent the people that are staying here, what they want becomes what I want."

Spyro growled. “Even if it violates several codes and laws?"

“What was your name again?" Flame asked.

“Oh, sorry, my name is Erdos, I am here to represent the people of this settlement, and carry out their wishes." He replied

“What about you? What do you think about this topic?" Mark asked.

“It's irrelevant." Erdos shrugged. “I agree with them, but I don't let it influence me."

Spyro growled again. “You will remove the petition or…"

“It only needs a hundred more signatures, and it will be taken to the royal courts. With a fully signed petition, the royal courts will be forced to sign it into law." Erdos interrupted.

“But we live under the protection of the ML, on a different planet." Sam replied.

“The Triad territory, and the ML both have a set of laws that carries out certain laws from other territories. Which means when the law is passed in Warfang, the ML won't stop it from being carried out, nor will the Triad. The Triad forces have already agreed to enforce the laws." Erdos explained.

“Of course they have." Sam sighed

“It won't be enforced, the ML enforces something called the morality code, which cannot be broken under any circumstance." Mark added.

“Dracios Elementia morality code three; The separation of dragons from their eggs is illegal. Exemption one; one of the parents agrees to release their eggs. Exemption two; the eggs are in danger." Sam recited.

“We will be acting on exemption two, the eggs are in danger, the children are in danger if they are raised by the terror of the skies." Erdos told them.

“Physical danger." Sam added.

“But it doesn't say that." Erdos smirked. “And when we bring that to the ML, they will stand down."

“It doesn't have to, Michael himself will defend their rights." Flame replied.

“And you, you have been brought the feelings and wishes of your people, and you ignore them, some king you are." Erdos turned to Flame, snarling.

“If I were to react to every single plea from my people, it would be carnage." Flame replied.

“Oh, please." The yellow dragon sitting next to Erdos cut in. “Your only purpose as king is to help the heir have children, then take care of them."

Flame looked hurt. “That's not my only purpose."

“We shouldn't lower ourselves by insulting others." The priestess finally spoke.

The yellow dragon rolled his eyes.

“Why do you want to take our eggs?" Spyro asked.

“Cynder, the terror, has killed thousands of others, she has taken loved ones from everyone here. So, as a collective, we have decided that she no longer has the right to raise children of her own. Not only because we feel like she needs to be punished, but also because we are worried that she might raise them to be evil, like her." The ice dragon on Erdos' right answered him.

“They're going to be my children too." Spyro replied

“Please, it is obvious that you are under her spell." The yellow dragon scoffed. “All of you."

“What spell? Cynder can't do spells." Spyro looked exhausted. “You people and your spells."

“It is saddening to see that you are blinded by your heart." The ice dragon shook his head.

“I'm getting tired of this." Spyro rubbed his forhead.

“The petition will help you, trust me." The yellow dragon smiled. “It's all for you."

Spyro growled, and stepped back. “You will end the petition, or I will make you."

The priestess stepped forward. “Violence is not needed."

“I am tired of everyone here attempting to hurt Cynder. Corruption, although it is bad, is more common than you think, and others have done worse things while corrupted. Malefor is going to be resurrected."

“We are aware of that, but he has had his memories erased, and his body reset. The evil within him is gone, and no trace remains. Cynder is still evil, and still has her memories." The ice dragon replied.

“Those memories haunt her, but she has changed." Spyro growled.

“Please, everyone, let's just calm down and talk like civilized people." The priestess called.

“As king of elemental dragons, you are now ordered to leave the queen alone, and no longer pursue any legal actions against her." Spyro roared

“Just because she's a queen, doesn't mean she is above the law." Erdos replied.

“I reserve the right to defend my mate and our eggs to the fullest of my abilities. We are going to ascend soon, making us ethereal beings with the abilities that come with it." Spyro replied. “Anybody who comes to the city of Faun with the intent of harming Cynder or our eggs will receive extreme punishment."

A letter appeared over Mark's head, he grabbed it and nodded to Spyro. Then he walked out of the room and took off. Another dragon walked into the room and nodded to the leaders.

“The petition is done; we are taking it to the courts right…" He looked over at Spyro, and froze.

Spyro turned back to the leaders, with fury in his eyes.

“You will stop, or I will tear your throats out." He growled.

The leader's eyes widened, and they all took a step back.

“You will not threaten us, in our own home." The messenger growled.

Sam flicked his wrist, and sent the messenger flying back through the door. Spyro shot the leader's a threatening look.

“If I have to come back here again, blood will be shed." He growled. “You will never touch my eggs."

They walked out of the room, and were confronted by a crowd of angry dragons.

“You come here, and attack one of us?" One of them roared.

Sam yawned, and shook his head, apparently bored about the whole situation.

“You are no hero; you have allowed yourself to be cursed." Another growled.

“Cynder can't do curses, it's not one of her powers. She can only wield Fear, Wind, Poison, and Dark. There aren't any extra little things she can do." Spyro roared back.

“Liar." A reply came from the crowd.

“Honestly, bunch of fools." Sam mumbled, then stepped forward, and yelled out to the crowd. “Have you ever seen Cynder use any other power but one that comes from her four elements? Any of you? Once?"

There was a murmur in the crowd.

“Dragons can't do 'spells' or 'curses', they can only use moves from their element, or elements." Sam added.

“Even if that is still true, that would only mean Cynder is playing you without using magic." The lead dragon replied.

Sam chuckled. “I seriously doubt that."

“And you too, all of you."

“You realize that Michael is with us? He raised her mother, he would know." Sam shot back.

“Even gods can make mistakes."

Spyro shook his head, and sighed. The crowd got angrier, and started to close in on them. The group entered their fighting stances.

“Stop!" The priestess yelled, running out into the crowd. “There is no need for bloodshed."

The crowd retreated, and shot the priestess dirty looks.

“Of course the Ultimate Guardian's puppet would take the side of his granddaughter." The lead dragon snarled.

“We have no bias, but we don't want anybody to fight, we can deal with this like civilized dragons."

“There is nothing civilized about the theft of dragon eggs." Spyro snarled. “This is your only warning, you are not welcome in the city of Faun, you will not make it to my district alone, not to mention into the city. If you enter the city, you will be arrested for breaking your banishment, and imprisoned."

“The law is on our side; your guards can't stop us."

Spyro chuckled. “You are fools to think that there is a loophole in the law that allows you to take eggs from anybody. They are the eggs of the king and queen of elemental dragons, and gain the protection they deserve."

Spyro flicked his tail at the crowd, casting a wave of fiery red sparks, causing the crowd to step back. Sam summoned a sword in his mouth and stepped in front of the rest of the group.

“Back up, the king has made his declaration, you will respect it, or face the consequences." He roared.

The crowd leapt back when Sam coated his sword with ice. Suddenly, a group of dragon guards landed in between the group and the crowd.

“Is there a problem here?" The captain asked.

“Yes, arrest these dragons on charges of assault, threatening, and attempting to forcefully remove a petition."

The captain raised an eyebrow, and looked over at Spyro.

“My king?"

The crowd's faces fell, and they turned to the purple dragon.

“We have received word of a law that would remove the rights for you to raise your eggs. The petition was brought forward earlier, and we have denied it on the grounds of the morality code. The law was not passed, but a general was worried about you, and dispatched us to find you." The captain explained.

“These dragons have violated laws." The leader shouted.

“You have attempted to violate the morality code; this removes you of all your rights." The captain replied.

Spyro smirked. “If I ever have to come here again, you will regret existing."

They took off, and the guards followed. Spyro flew next to the captain.

“So, they won't be trying to take my eggs?" He asked.

“No, they won't even try." The captain answered.

“Good." Spyro smiled.

“They shouldn't have even tried. It insults us that they think they're right." The captain replied.

They landed back at Warfang, and Ember was waiting for them.

“Good, you got back just in time." Ember smiled.

Flame walked up and nuzzled her. “Just in time for what?"

“For the girls to leave." She replied.

They walked through the palace to the royal portal.

“So, how'd it go?" She asked.

“Turns out that the generals already have a plan for situations like this. So going over there and threatening them was kind of pointless." Spyro told her.

Sam and Camry shared a look, before vanishing.

“Camry leaned to teleport fast." Ember stated, stunned.

“I heard it's quite easy." Spyro told her.

They found the portal, and stepped through it. When they arrived in Faun, Ember joined the rest of the girls. Cynder rushed up to Spyro when she saw him.

“Are you okay?"

“I'm fine, they won't be bothering us." Spyro nuzzled her.

“I'm sorry, this is all my fault, I caused this." She looked down.

“No, it's okay, were fine. They won't be taking our eggs." He told her. “Go have fun, with your friends."

Cynder smiled and joined the others waiting for her, then they all flew off. Mark appeared next to him.

“This is going to get old quick." Spyro mumbled. “How was it?"

“Fine, feels the same, but I do know how to teleport know, I'm just not that good at it." He replied, looking around.

“What do you mean?" Spyro asked.

“I was supposed to teleport directly into my house." He replied.

Spyro chuckled and looked in the direction of his house.

“Close, but oh so far." He replied.

Cynder couldn't help but smile as she flew with people she could call friends. She flew next to Aura, who was humming lightly to herself.

“Where did you learn that song? It seems vaguely… Familiar?" Cynder asked her

“Michael sang it to me, when I was small. This one was my favorite, but he sung a lot to me when I was a kid." Aura answered. “He sang to every one of his children, your mother included, and she probably sang to you while you were still in your egg."

“You think I would remember that?" Cynder replied.

“Probably, maybe bits and pieces of voices and sounds." Aura replied. “That's why parents always sing and talk to their eggs, but usually only when nobody is around."

“I'll have to remember that." Cynder replied.

Aura smiled and looked down at the city below them.

“Where we going?" Star called out.

“Spa first, then scales, then nails and horns." Layla replied.

They landed outside of the spa, and stepped in.
