Spring is about to begin, and the second semester is already underway. In the bustling hallways of Marigold Community College. Where young minds flourished and friendships that can last a lifetime blossomed. A tale as old as time was about to unfold in this new chapter of the sleepy town of Oakhill. It was a month into the second semester and the halls were in a stir about the new family that had just arrived in town. Fenna was embarrassed as she entered the halls overhearing the conversations. She was obviously a bit of a rarity there her family was the only Fox kind in the area. She decided to walk with confidence as her fluffy tail swished back and forth through the hallways as she was guided to her first class of the day by one of the office staff an adorable little Rabbit kind named Allen Carriton the fifth. Apparently, he had to make it a point to tell her he was the fifth.
When they got down the hall they stopped at a door that ready Biology 205. Allen “Please wait here, I’m going to go give Professor Hawthorn your paperwork.” As he skittered toward a surly old Goat kind with a tweed jacket writing on the chalk board. Professor grabs the papers Allen was holding. He pulled down his glasses and gave a glance at the door and smiled. Professor Hawthorn turned to the class after he cleared his throat and said, “Attention class we have a new Student joining us from our sister university over in the High Oaks Please welcome Miss Finna” He waved for her to Enter the room. The class was in aww as the beautiful visage of a Firey Orange and white fox walking in the door. Except one student who had his nose stuck in his textbook. As Professor Hawthorn spoke “Mr. Alden” not prepared Alden looked up from his book as he heard “you will be partnering with Miss Finna” his heartbeat heavy as he saw her. As she walked to the seat next to Alden, she was interested in getting to meet this interesting silver and white wolf that seemed to be a bit of a nerd. As she got close, he stood up and put his paw out to shake. She was in aww as he towered over her at 6ft 4in. her ears went back as she prepared to shake his paw. Alden stutteringly spoke “ hhh..ii I’mm Alden” he felt so embarrassed. As their hands met, she gave out a little giggle. “It’s nice to meet you I’m Finna” they both sat as class began. As they worked through the lab of the day the conversation became easier. As they took turns looking through the microscope Alden “explained that it was fascinating watching the cells divide” Finna” I agree. Biology has always been one of my favorite subjects” they were both in agreement of that.
A Month had gone by and the had become close friends. They would meet up for study sessions at the local coffee shop. The weirdness of having a family of foxes in town had died down. And spring was now in full bloom. The town was getting ready for all the spring events such as the Spring dance that would be held in one month that signaled the end of the semester. But first they would have to get through the end of the semester exams in 3 weeks.
Alden Arrived in biology excited to see his best friend and lab partner. 15 min into class he started to worry about Finna it wasn’t like her to skip class. “Hope she isn’t sick. I’ll take good notes and bring them to her, so she doesn’t get behind.” Alden silently said to himself. He knew if she was sick, she could use a friend her parents were heading back to Oak Hills for a few months to wrap up a business deal. He decided he would stop by the little bistro and pick up her favorite soap and take it to her.
Alden headed over to her house soap in his hand and a cheerful spirit! As he approached the door, he remarked to himself the air smell especially sweet today. As he knocked at the door, he heard some scrambling coming from inside. A sweet voice he new to be Finna said hold on a moment. As she opened the door, he felt an odd sensation as the airconditioned air hit him. He put it aside as he saw her cute muzzle look up at him. “ Hi, Finna, I missed you in class today I thought I might come by and see how you were doing and bring you the class notes and your favorite soup” Finna blushed as she accepted the gift and took the notes as she said “ I’m not contagious I’m didn’t want to go to class right now so thank you” Alden-“ is everything ok do mind if I come in and we can sit and talk about it” Finna hesitated a second “ sure but I don’t know how long you’ll want to stay” as they made there way to the living room Alden noticed he kept looking at her tail sway as she walked. He had never thought about how pretty she truly was but for some reason its all he could think about.
Finna was embarrassed she had started her heat cycle and didn’t want to go to school and deal with all the males that would be attracted by her cent. Finna suddenly pooled away and started to apologize when Alden suddenly returned the kiss with more verbosity. As they managed to pull away from each other they both looked at each other with lustful admiration. Finna broke the seconds of silence.
