**What's this? U.P. has written something that isn't 100% pure smut? Impossible!

Ok, so here is my first genuine effort to inject some story into one of my series. I think the other ones might be too far gone at this stage, but maybe, just maybe. . . I can save this one.** Hope you enjoy!

It was a tick past two in the morning when an aging yellow taxi rolled to a gentle stop outside the large suburban home, a whitewashed colonial style adorned with a wrap-around verandah and large, double front doors. The deer siblings quickly made their way across the well-kept from lawn, wary of the master bedroom windows on the upper floor, where they assumed their parents were currently sleeping soundly. The front door would be too loud, and also stood a good chance of tripping the alarm if they weren't supremely cautious. Rather than risk such an entrance, Renn and Rann slid their way around the side of the house towards a basement access door, all the while staying alert and ready. They lived in a well-to-do area, and their early morning antics could easily be mistaken by an overly-enthusiastic member of the local neighbourhood watch as trespass, or burglary.

"Rann, hurry!"

Renn urged his sister onward, ushering her towards the basement as the pair of deer crossed the final few yards of grass. They quickly made their way down the short steps to the heavy wooden door, locked as it always was. As Renn thrust his paw into his pocket, hunting around for his keys, Rann slid up behind him, wrapping her arms about her younger brother's chest, pulling him into a hug and nuzzling at his neck.

"Wait until we're inside!"

"Awww!"

Renn had the door unlocked in a matter of seconds. With a creak it opened, blasting the two deer with a wave of hot air from the house's central heating unit. With a playful push, Renn was shunted forward by his sister and stumbled forward into the balmy interior of the family home. Before he had the chance to regain his footing, he again felt his sister press her body to his, this time from the front, hugging him tightly.

"Ok Rann, I...um...had fun tonight." he said, gingerly returning the embrace.

"Fuck me."

Renn nearly jumped out of his own fur. "W-What?"

Rann shuffled her feet closer to his, sliding herself across the deer boy's chest, mashing her pert breasts into his still-bare torso while tracing one of her feet along his calf muscle.

"Do I have to spell it out for you?" she said, standing on the very tips of her toes to breath lustily into his ear. "I said. . . Fuck me."

"What. . . here? Now?"

She nipped at his neck. "I don't care. Here, my room, yours, the kitchen counter, if you saw the patch I left on the taxi seat, you wouldn't be asking such a silly question."

Renn hadn't seen it; he had smelled it.

"Rann...I'm pretty tired."

His sister pouted at him. "Don't you remember the promise you made? You said you'd eat me out...whenever...I...wanted."

Renn remembered, all too well. Never before had he been so hazed with lust and desire. Even now, the thought of ravishing his sister had his heart pounding in his chest. His desire to taste her, to lick her most precious place, to do all sorts of lewd, obscene things with her, was still very much alive inside him.

"I know, but..."

"But what?"

"I don't think...it's a good idea."

"Of course it's not a good idea!" quipped Rann. "But I'm too horny for that to matter. How many brothers do you think get so lucky, hmm? You've got your sister begging you to shove your cock inside her, are you going to turn that down?"

Her voice returned to its sweet, suggestive tone. "Are you going to turn me down?"

Still acutely aware of his sister's warm body pressed to his, Renn's eyes darted nervously about the darkened room, searching for a distraction.

"I..."

Rann pulled out all the stops. Looking up at him, she bit her lower lip and fluttered her eyelids a little, speaking in the softest, most pleading voice she could manage.

"Please, little brother, fuck me. Fuck your horny sister."

"No!"

It was an action he would instantly regret. With a violent shove, Renn pushed his sister back, not so hard as to knock her down, but with more than enough force to collide her with the basement door, sending a rattle echoing throughout the basement and into the house above.

"Renn, wait!"

Ignoring his sister's cries, Renn took off at a sprint, thunderously ascending the stairs to the spacious landing just inside the front door of the house. Without pausing to see if she had followed him, the deer boy raced down the hallway, throwing the door to his bedroom aside and locking himself in.

A few tears formed at the corners of his eyes and rolled down his cheeks as he collapsed into his bed. Now that he was alone, the area about him devoid of noise and light, the events of the previous few hours came to overwhelm him. He cradled his head in his paws, curling into the foetal position as emotions of shame and guilt played havoc in his brain. He had done so much! He had exposed himself, committed a depraved act of homosexuality, wantonly made out with his own sister and enjoyed it! To make matters worse, he still felt it. He still lusted after Rann, still craved her in a way that no brother should his sibling.

And he had hit her.

"I'm sorry, Rann..."

Unable to control himself, and with tears now streaming down his face, he undid his phat pants and pulled out his stiffened member, stroking it gentle as images of his sister still danced about his head.

"I'm sorry..."

Breakfast was an. . . Awkward affair, to say the least.

A far cry from the previous evening's attire, Renn was dressed in his school uniform; a fairly modest outfit consisting of grey pants and collared shirt, complete with a tie. He picked errantly at his breakfast, pushing his cereal about the bowl without so much as a thought to actually eat it. Four deer sat around the table; Renn and his sister, along with their parents, a huge, muscled buck and dainty, slender doe. While their father was absorbed in his morning paper, pausing only to take the occasional bite of his toast, their mother glared at them, having not even bothered to set a place for herself or prepare a meal.

She knew.

With the benefit of hindsight, Renn knew it was his fault. Had he not had his little snap in the basement the previous night, both him and Rann could have simply snuck quietly into their rooms, and apart from being a little on the weary side, their parents would have been none the wiser. Instead, his brief loss of calm meant that he was likely minutes, if not seconds away, from receiving a thorough reprimanding from his parents, and possibly a grounding.

"Pass the juice, Dad."

The buck didn't respond, still glued to his paper. Rann cleared her throat and asked again. "Dad?"

"Oh. Here."

Rann accepted the pitcher as it was pushed across the table and poured herself a glass, gulping it down quickly. She was fidgeting, and Renn could tell that she was nervous. He couldn't blame her; he was too. The conversation was almost non-existent, and while his father rarely participated in their early morning banter, the complete lack of playful jabs and quips between him and his sister suggested that some whe awry, something his mother had apparently picked up on.

"Your figure is fine, honey, eat something."

Renn's mother shot her husband a piercing glare.

"Ok, fine." he said, throwing the paper down in resignation and removing himself from the table. "I don't want to know. I'm heading off, I'll be working late tonight, just leave whatever's left of dinner in the fridge."

The three deer watched their father and husband crack his neck a few times, throw his business coat over his shoulder and push his way through the kitchen door, striding out onto the driveway and into his car. Their mother kept her eyes locked to him as he drove away, waiting until he had rounded the corner and disappeared before returning to her children.

"I haven't told your father yet."

Renn didn't even bother to look up from his cereal. "Told him what, Mom?"

"You know very well what, young buck! I heard you two come in last night. What was it, two in the morning? Good grief, it's a school night, Renn, you can't be staying out that late! You told me the dance would end at eleven, where were you?"

"I went to a friend's house." he replied cooly.

"Mmmhmm, and just who was this friend? Bailey?" His mother tapped her finger in the table several times, eyeing her son expectantly.

"Uh. . . yeah."

"I see, so if I was to call Bailey's parents, they'll tell me that you were over, will they?"

Renn's heart skipped a beat. Of course she'd call him out on that, his mother wasn't stupid! If he had shown a bit of foresight, he could probably have convinced Bailey to cover for him; his parents were far more easy going this his own.

"They. . . weren't home."

Lame excuse.

"Renn, don't think that I don't know when you're lying to me, where did you and your sister go? Were you drinking? Did you take drugs? Did you..."

"Mom!" he yelled, throwing his spoon across the table top. "Lay off, will you?!"

His mother gasped. "Renn! What has gotten into you? Alright, I'm calling your father, he'll have something to. . ."

"I lied about the rave, Mom." interrupted Rann.

Both Renn and his mother turned to face her. She was staring intently at the older doe, though her eyes did occasionally dart back towards her brother, the slightest hint of nervousness present in her expression.

"Lied?" repeated their mother. "About the dance you went to?"

Rann nodded. "I said it ended before midnight because otherwise you wouldn't have let Renn go, and he really loves that stuff. It didn't finish until one in the morning, and it took a while to get a taxi. Sorry."

Their mother folded her arms on the tabletop, shooting both Renn and Rann severe, stern looks before dropping her head and letting out a sigh. "Haven't we been over this, Rann? You're twenty one, you're an adult! Renn can't even drive yet and you're taking him to these. . . stupid dance parties!"

"Oh, so this is my fault now, is it?"

"Don't you take that tone with me!" she continued. "You're both at fault here. I wasn't going to tell your father, you know how upset he gets, but I don't know if there is any other way that you'll learn your lesson."

"Mom!" It was Renn's turn to protest.

She cut him off with a wave of her paw. "We'll discuss this with your father this evening. Rann, you're going to be late for work. Drive your brother to school while you're at it."

"Look, Mom, I..."

"Not another word from either of you. Get going."

They had little choice but to heed their mother's instructions. Exiting the kitchen, Renn collected his bag from inside the front door and stepped outside, closely followed by his sister.

If they thought breakfast had been awkward, then the ride to Renn's school was on another level entirely.

"Hey, Renn!"

"Bailey!"

Renn clasped his paw with his best friend's before giving him a hearty pat on the back. The husky yanked him in, colliding their chests and sending Renn staggered back several feet.

"Ha!"

Renn grinned at his friend's overtly boisterous manner. Outwardly, you would never have guessed the two were friends. Renn, the timid, lanky deer boy and Bailey, a sculpted, broad shouldered husky with an attitude and ego to match. They had first crossed paths in middle school, and courtesy of a prank gone wrong, had endured several days of detention together. They had been friends ever since.

"You make the gig last night?" Bailey asked, shoving his paws into his pockets and walking beside Renn as the approached the school gates.

"Yeah, Rann got me in, managed to sweet talk the bouncer."

"Nice!" he slapped his friend on the back. "Oh, and not that it matters anymore, but here."

Bailey reached into his backpack and tossed Rann an envelope. "My cousin was a little late, but he always comes through."

"Could have used this last night." said Renn. "But I guess it's useful to have."

"Of course! Best fake IDs you can get; chipped and windowed, no-one will think you're a day younger than twenty one!"

"Easy for you to say, dogbreath, not all of us have enough fur to carpet a house."

"Don't go hating on my manly scruff. Anyway, I've seen your Dad, how'd you end up so skinny?"

Renn shrugged.

"So, you pick up?"

Renn coked his head. "What?"

"At the rave, did you hook up?"

"Um. . . No, not really."

Bailey's powerful paw reached out across Renn's chest, stopping him in his tracks. "What do you mean, not really? C'mon Renn, tell me"

"I mean. . . not really." said Renn, brushing his friend's paw away. "Well. . . I had a dance with a nice girl, but that was about it."

"Nothing?"

"Nothing."

"No number?"

"Nope." Renn lied.

Bailey threw his arms out to his sides before continuing towards the school. "Shit dude, I don't know why you bother then."

Renn shot him a dirty look. "You know, some of us like this stuff called music."

"Ha! So, did Rann dance too?"

"Hmmm? Why do you ask?"

"Oh, I was just wondering, you know, if she was a good dancer." Bailey's tone suddenly lacked his characteristic confidence.

"She okay, I don't think she really minds though, she just enjoys it."

"Do you um, think she might like to go dancing with me."

It was Renn's turn to stop his friend. The pair of furs were just outside the school gates. Numerous students and teachers walked past, streaming in for the day's classes.

"Hang on." started Renn, giving the husky an uncharacteristically severe glare. "Are you interested in Rann?"

". . . Maybe a little."

"Bailey!" he spat. "She's older than you, what makes you think. . ."

"She's hot! Alright?"

Renn tensed up. "I thought you were into that junior cat girl?"

"Mel?" said Bailey. "Nah, not all that interested anymore. Sure, she's cute, but not like Rann. Man, her legs! And that ass! She's. . ."

"That's my sister, dude!"

His friend nodded eagerly. "So? Means we won't be in competition!"

"I'm not so sure." said the deer. "Don't you think it might get awkward?"

"Not really, it's not like you'd have to watch or anything."

Renn sighed. "You don't need to tell me this, just. . . drop it, okay?"

"Renn, don't cockblock!" protested Bailey. "Hey, I know the guys are all coming around to your place this weekend, I was thinking I might ask her . . ."

"I SAID BACK OFF!"

Before Renn could catch himself, he had slammed his far larger friend into the wall, his forearm pressed across Bailey's large, well muscled chest. A few of the students about them jumped back in surprise.

"Fuck, dude, I didn't mean. . . hang on, back off?"

Renn quickly retracted his arm. "I. . . I um. . . Look, you know what I mean, alright!"

"Are you okay?"

Renn took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm his suddenly racing heart. "Sorry Bailey, I just. . . didn't get a lot of sleep last night, parents caught me and Rann sneaking back in."

"Tough break."

"Yeah." replied Renn. "Look, we're gunna be late, we best. . ."

"Renn! Bailey!" An elderly squirrel, his fur almost entirely greyed as a result of his advanced years, briskly strode his way across the entrance courtyard to the source of the commotion.

"What's happening here, you causing a ruckus, Bailey?"

"Uh, no sir!"

His eyes slowly moved between the two young furs, his gaze cold and penetrating. "Fine. Off to first period with you. . . Ah! Not you, Renn."

"Sir?"

The squirrel folded his arms across his chest. "You've been excused from first period, Miss Bevelaqua wants to see you in the gym. I'd hurry along if I were you."

"Okay, thank you, sir."

Renn jogged the rest of the way.

"Shit, what are you thinking?!"

Why had he been called to the school gym? Of all his classes, gym was probably the one that Renn cared about the least. He didn't particularly dislike it, but nor was he all that engaged. To him, it was simply ninety minutes out of his day that he really didn't feel were necessary. Still, he supposed that since he was missing a class which he actively disliked, he could entertain the notion of being at least marginally interested in whatever Miss Bevilacqua had called him for.

Pushing the doors open, Renn stepped inside his school's cavernous gymnasium. The smell of sweat lingered in the air, suggestion a class had recently been held. The lights were on and the air conditioner had been turned up, allowing Renn to scan about the area while also chilling the deer boy.

"Renn!" came a voice from one of the storage rooms set into the sides of the gym, "Glad you could come along!"

Sandi Bevelaqua, the 28-year-old bobcat recently employed as a sports coach and gym class teacher, bounced her way out of the storeroom where she had been stacking some rubber mats, clad in a pair of loose-fitting running shorts and tank top. Not an inch taller than five foot, she had a trim, toned and athletic feminine physique, and though perhaps a little on the muscled side, was nevertheless the object of desire for a good portion of the school's male population. With short cropped hair, perky little breasts and a firm, tight buttocks, along with a certain tomboyish appeal and spunky attitude, Renn could certainly see why!

"Oh! H-hi there, Miss B., you called for me?"

The feline rocked back and forth on the soles of her feet a few times. "I did! Could you come with me, please?"

Twirling about, Miss Bevelaqua strutted her way towards the back of the gym where the coach's offices were situated, her cute, short little bobcat tail twitching and flicking behind her as she waked.

"So, what's this about." asked Renn, doing his best not to stare. "I'm not in trouble, am I?"

"Trouble? No! Although it might be good if you put in a bit more effort during my classes. Come in!"

"Sorry." he replied, following her into the small office.

"Don't be! That's what we're here to talk about."

She motioned for him to stand in the middle of her office while she took a seat in her swivel chair, spinning about a few times before coming to face him.

"I'm not sure I understand, Miss B." said Renn, a slightly hint of nervousness in his voice.

"Oh, it's pretty simple, Renn. The school's track team has been doing pretty badly over the past few years, and we've got a bit of a reputation to uphold. I'd like your help to fix that up!"

Renn tilted his head. True enough, his school had, at least in the past, prided itself on strong performances at the state athletics championships, even sending a few students to the national competition each year. Recently, however, there had been an unfortunate downward trend in recent years.

"I'm not really sure how I'm suppose to help out with that, Miss B."

Miss Bevelaqua giggled a little, standing up from her chair and circling the deer boy. "You've got more potential than you know, Renn. You might be a bit slack in my class, but I have noticed that you've got quite the athletic body there."

With an unexpected slap, her paw contacted his flank, the crisp impact causing him to jump a little.

"See?" she said. "Nice, tight muscles, good for running."

"Um...Miss B?"

"Oh, of course! We're looking to train ourselves up a track team, and we're hunting about for talent. I really do think you've got what it takes! You don't have any springbok in your family, do you?"

"Actually, yeah." replied Renn. "My grandfather, on my mother's side. How can you tell?"

Miss Bevelaqua touched her paws to her nose. "Your markings, figured there must be something a little foreign in there, plus, most pure breed deer don't get so nicely toned without any training."

Renn couldn't help himself. Heat rose to his cheeks and into the tips of his ears and he blushed quite profusely. If his teacher had noticed, she hadn't shown any outwards signs of it.

". . .or so cute!"

His blush deepened. She had noticed.

"So!" she said, clasping her paws behind her back and standing in front of him, looking up. "Can we count on you to join up? Training sessions will be one-on-one, after school, three days a week to start with. I'll be training you myself!"

The blood rushed somewhere else this time.

"Uh...what would I be training for?"

"Well, I don't think you'll beat Byron Tait over the one hundred or two hundred meter sprints."

"He's a cheetah, that's hardly fair!"

"Buuuuut, with a bit of practice you'll be damn hard to stop over the middle distances, eight hundred and fifteen hundred meters."

"You...really think so"

Miss Bevelaqua nodded eagerly. "I do!"

Renn paced back and forth for a bit. He had never considered himself a sportsman, even in a recreational sense, but he was strangely curious. Perhaps he did have some degree of potential within himself.

And having one-on-one training with Sandi Bevelaqua wasn't exactly the worst way to spend an afternoon.

"I'm not sure, Miss B., it's a pretty big commitment, my parents wouldn't be be very happy if I fell behind in my studies."

"Oh no problems!" she replied, scooting over to the office door and opening it so he could leave. "We won't be starting the training until next week, so you've got a few days to think about it. You know where to find me!"

Renn walked through the door and back into the gymnasium proper. "Thanks, Miss B., I'll let you know."

"Good to hear, stay safe! Oh, and Renn. . ."

"Yes?"

"You're a wonderful dancer."

The day was finally over. Classed had finished, and as Renn was as-of-yet in no extracurricular activities, he had little else to do but return home. Bailey was at football practice and all his other friends had either gone to attend their own activities, or taken the bus.

Renn was walking.

In part, he simply wanted to postpone the inevitable confrontation with his father. At least as far as his parents were concerned, he and Rann had only been a few hours late. Sure, Rann had lied, but that was hardly cause for much concern; a grounding, perhaps an hour or two of chiding and chewing out, but nothing of any real consequence. Despite this, Renn very much doubted his ability to maintain composure while facing his overbearing father. The thought of what would happen if he cracked, if he were to confess to what had really transpired at Lexi and Tim's apartment, it was something he was extremely uncomfortable considering.

And so, rather than take the bus, he had chosen to walk the short distance to a nearby public park, typically devoid of the usual throng of mother and their children at this hour. It was nicely wooded and offered a good deal of privacy for those wishing for some peace and quiet. A perfect place to think, to clear one's head.

Renn placed himself down against a tree, out of sight of the road, well and truly away from any distraction, any source of noise or interruption. He fished his phone from his pocket, threw his headphones on and fired up some music, leaning back against the tree and closing his eyes.

He listened for perhaps five minutes before he felt a jab at his shoulder.

"Hmmm?"

"Hi there."

Renn stood up, tearing the headphones from his ears. "R..Rann?"

His sister stood in front of him, still dressed in her work clothes, her paws clasped nervously in front of her.

"How did you know I was here?" he continued. "I thought you'd be at home. . ."

"I was waiting outside your school, I was going to give you a lift home, but you just walked straight out and came here."

"Jeez, Rann, didn't you finish work at lunchtime?"

"I know, I...well I waited for you."

Renn's paw went to his face, wiping over his eyes and muzzle and trailing off down his neck. This was another conversation he wasn't yet prepared to have.

"So. . . why did you wait?" he asked.

Rann shifted on the spot, shuffling a little closer, extending her paw out to take his. "Renn, I wanted to say that I'm sorry. I'm sorry for how I acted last night, I'm sorry for making you do all those things, I wasn't thinking properly, I was just. . . I was just having so much fun."

Renn pulled his paw from his sister's grasp, blushing as mention of the previous night's events came up.

"No." he said, turning back to face her. "I can't let you say you're sorry, not like this! I'm the one who should be sorry. I had a great time last night, it might have been a bit frightening, but I'm glad I did it, and I'm glad you were there with me. And then what did I do, I hit you. I hit my own sister for it."

"No, please, Renn, it's fine! I'm fine!"

Renn felt a lump in his throat. He had to turn away as a lone tear rolled down his cheek.

"Rann. . . I. . ." his voice wavered. "I just don't know what to do. So much has happened so quickly, I can't think straight. I'm snapping at everyone, I don't feel like. . . talking to anyone, I just want to go home and lock myself in my room. This isn't me."

Rann couldn't help herself, her heart swelled with compassion for her younger brother and she grabbed him from behind, hooking her arms over his shoulders and around his neck and hugging him tight. This time, he reciprocated. He still didn't know what to make of it all. Lexi and Tim, and what he had done in front of them, and to them. Rann's part in it all. Even Miss Bevelaqua's admission, it was too much information for the young buck to process, to make sense of, especially with his emotions running as high as they were.

For now though, he had Rann here with him. Though it had been less than twenty four hours, he knew he should not have pushed her away, kept her in the dark about his troubles. He had to make amends, to show her that he wasn't just going to forget what they had shared together.

"Rann." he started, sniffing a few times. "I. . . I really appreciate you coming out here to be with me. I don't know how I should feel about everything. . . but thanks."

"Renn. . ."

Breaking their embrace, his sister turned him around, bring them face to face and locking their gaze together. Her paws slowly went to his cheeks, gently caressing his fur before snaking behind his head, pulling his muzzle forward. There was no urgency, no pounding music or eager audience; it was just them, brother and sister, without a single soul around them. She gave him plenty of time to escape, to push her away or tell her that her advances were unwanted.

But he didn't, not this time.

Their lips pressed together, smoothly and without the heated lust that had clouded their earlier encounter. The kiss was deep and genuine, Rann's tongue slowly exploring her brother's mouth, sliding about his, tasting him, enjoying his soft lips and warm muzzle. Renn too, allowed his own paws to wander, sliding up her back and pulling her tighter into their loving, compassionate union. For what was all too fleeting a moment, they simply kissed, enjoying nothing else but each other.

At that point in time, Renn could say that he genuinely, truly, and deeply wanted her. More than anything in the world, he wanted to share himself, in his utmost entirety, with his loving sister. He continued to kiss her, nipping along her lower lip and flicking his tongue across hers. She giggled a little at the attention, though it soon became a soft moan as her own efforted redoubted, fighting his pink organ back with her own; wrestling about between their mouths as the heat and passion slowly rose. Renn's paw dropped a little lower, rubbing just above his sister's fluffy, triangular white tail.

And then, they broke the kiss.

For a while, they stared into each other's eyes, blushing furiously and awkwardly, Rann having to stifle a giggle or two as her brother's paws still tickled at her back. Without the surrounds of the last night, their moment had been far less heated, less impulsive, but all the more genuine.

After a while, it was Rann who broke the silence. "Renn, before I chicken out, I just want to say. . . I. . . that I really do love you."

Renn pulled her head in again, this time pressing it to his collarbone and hugging tightly about her shoulders. "Is that. . . you know. . . like a brother, or. . . something more?"

Rann nodded. "Something more. . ."

She looked up at him. ". . . And as a brother."

They shared another quick peck before removing their limbs from each other. Renn had to avert his gaze; his heart was pounding and he didn't know how much longer he could last before he either said or did something stupid.

"Uh, Rann, can I. . . make a confession. It's about this morning. . ."

"Sure."

"Look, I'm not sure if I'm ready just yet, this is some pretty heavy stuff, but. . ."

He returned his eyes to her, his face splitting into a slight grin. "I really, really do want to fuck you."

A/N: There you have it! I finally did something with some plot, with some actually character development and without smut! Maybe.

Maybe it's utter rubbish. Either way, let me know! You can expect plenty more from Renn and Rann in future; I've really enjoyed writing this series so far!
