The young harpy female was beautiful. Only 18, her wrists were bound in menacles and she was dressed in a scanty feathered bikini. She was curvy with freckles, red hair and red and orange feathers on her wings, growing from her lower arms. Her elbows and knees down were covered in red and orange feathers with fierce bird of prey feet and clawed hands. A large feather adorned her full hair. She gasped in fear; the others had brought the biggest male she'd ever seen with them to her mating pen today; an enormous male lesser angel. He was a hulking muscular brute who towered over the two harpies harassing him; it was clear to young Savera he could have crushed and killed them with his bare hands, but was too gentle for such a thing; instead he put up with them with mild annoyance.

"Ladies...please, let's just all..owch! Hey, watch those claws, please. I have no quarrel with you women, I was just passing through."

"Well," one shrieked harshly in his ear, making him wince, "You're in luck, you brute!" They shoved him roughly into Savera's pen, shutting and locking the door, "You will mate with her, at least three times. When you have, we will let you go. We'll be back for you tommorow." They laughed harshly. The male's gentle blue eyes flew open wide, seeing Savera chained there.

"My goodness....ladies, she's beautiful, but she's just a girl, why I'd...I'd rip her in half! I'm not going to hurt her!" The angel shouted, grabbing the bars, the harpies shrieked, laughing at him.

"And yet, you grow aroused at the sight of her! We will return. You will breed her, or you will both rot in there forever!" They mocked, finally leaving. The angel snarled and gave an angry shove at the cage walls, not appreciating their attitude. Savera inhaled hard as he turned around; he was absolutely enormous and clearly very strong. If he wished, he'd have no trouble overpowering her. She decided it was safer to submit to him.

"I won't resist, please, give me a moment to prepare." She begged. She was to be pleasantly surprised by her strange guest. His eyes devoured her; he clearly fought it, but couldn't help it, she could see. He turned his head politely.

"Ahh...pardon me, Miss. I am so sorry for my...state, allow me." He turned and discreetly tucked his sizable uncut manhood against his muscled thigh, hiding it best as he could under his shorts and gladiator skirt; he didn't wish to frighten the girl, and he felt rude, though he couldn't control it.

"There we go, ol' boy's safely under wraps." He chuckled with a blush and a friendly grin; Savera relaxed and laughed at his joke; clearly, this huge brute wasn't going to harm her. "Please, sllow me to introduce myself, you have my apologies for the circumstances, Miss. I'm James LightningSword, gladiator tanker, at your service." He gave a graceful bow, his huge white and blue wings spreading gallantly.

"Wow...you are certainly the most polite man I've had in here. I'm Savera ThornVine, witch-in-training."

"Pleased to meet you, dear. Allow me." James said, he came closer and she looked a little scared again.

"I won't hurt you, you have my word. I'd like to free you from your bonds." He whispered gently.

"They are sturdy..." she warned.

"Yes...I see. He grimaced; he bent the steel with his hands, but couldn't quite break it. He picked it with his sword, but it was too big.

"You're sword matches your other weapon, sir." Savera flirted, James threw back his head and guffawed loudly and she giggled; he grinned at her and blushed hard, scratching his thick black hair.

"You are too sweet! Thank you! Please dear...close your eyes. This will be loud and bright, but over quickly." He raised his swords over his head, his huge burly chest and arms flexing, his lightning magic crackling over the weapons and his bracers, his irises gold with his power. Savera obeyed, wincing in fear. She gasped as a loud clang startled her; her shackles fell away, he'd shattered the chains binding her.

"Thank you!" she gasped.

"You are most welcome. Allow me to free you, I can escort you to safety." He offered kindly, extending his huge hand, she took it and he helped her up; again she saw his eyes flash desire but he literally gulped it down, gentlemanly.

"Oh my word...my apologies, Savera. Please, folllow me, I'll keep you safe." He said warmly.

"Do not fret, James. They have dressed me in a tantalizing outfit, I know. You are the third man this week, though by far the the biggest, and the kindest." She finished, with a little smile at him, he grinned back at her, his big wings adjusting.

"Thank you, lovely lady. They just throw strange men in here with you? That is utterly horrific, you poor girl." James sneered, thinking of the harpies.

"Yes, they are a rival tribe, they captured me when I was young, and made me a servant girl. When I turned 18 this year they put me in these breeding pens, to keep the group going, like the Amazons, they capture males to breed with and then release them. Male harpies are sent away...I don't know where. Females are brainwashed into hatred and war. At least...in this tribe." Savera told James.

"How disgusting! Let's get you out of here." He agreed, "I'm so sorry I didn't meet you sooner, that's dreadful. Have you endured," he winced, upset at the thought, "Many of these captured men, honey?" His voice grew kind.

"No...the first was too violent, the harpies killed him before he could touch me. The second mated with me and was set free, but the timing must've been off, I didn't fall pregnant. You were their third attempt." Savera whispered. James used his brute strength to break down the door of the pen and escorted her away quietly, his hand on her arms gently and his wings around her like a cloak, they snuck quietly through the woods and James whistled softly; his huge draft horse steed cantered up to them and James petted him.

"Savera my new friend, meet Thunder, he's very pleased to make your acquaintance." James whispered kindly. Savera patted the huge beast on his muzzle; he nickered, liking her energy. "Oh, why, he really likes you!" James chuckled; he was a horseman and paid attention when his mount approved of someone.

"You are too kind, both of you." Savera whispered, James helped her up on his enormous warhorse and then mounted the beast himself, he clicked to Thunder quietly and they started off.

"I hope we don't run into those ladies, I don't want to hurt them, even though I'm more than slightly pissed for how they've treated you, Savera." James said to her softly, she held his muscled waist behind him as they rode Thunder.

"You don't fight women." Savera said in recognition, smiling at him.

"Only sparring, and defensive moves only in combat. Men, I rip out their tongue and eat it." He winked at her and chuckled, she giggled at his joke and he laughed and blushed; she was pretty, very pretty, it was impossible to ignore it. "Women can be more savage than males, sometimes." Savera said sadly, James shot her a look of pity and gave her hand a quick, reassuring squeeze, but he let go quickly, not wanting to come onto or frighten her.

"I really hope they don't show up, I might lose my temper." He snarled lowly, gazing ahead with determination.

"I think they were raiding another harpy tribe today, we might have gotten away." Savera whispered in his ear; a shiver went up his spine; she was tempting in her youth and beauty, but he fought it gallantly.

"I honestly want to ride back there and kick their asses for treating a nice young girl like you that way. I should set my father on them. He's a dark sorceror, he'd show them no mercy." James muttered angrily.

"Amazing. Are you a caster as well?" Savera asked; they'd reached a beautiful seashore with huge pink crsytals protruding from the ground. "I am! It runs in my blood, evidently. Lightning is my magic power. My father prefers fire." James told her, blushing, "Sorry I..didn't mean that to sound as boastful as it came out." He admitted shyly.

"You are...very cute. You're very proud of him, I can tell." Savera said. James beamed at her, lighting up like a little boy; she'd guessed it, seen right into his heart. She smiled kindly at him, finding him sweet.

"I am...I want to....be like him, someday, well....maybe, if I can." James admitted shyly, stammering a little, with a blush and a hair rub.

"There's nothing wrong with that. My mother was also a witch. They killed her when they took me." Savera told him. He inhaled hard, affected.

"Savera...I'm so sorry, that's monstrous." He gasped, they were distracted however, as three naga women emerged from a cavern on the seaside, wearing hooded cloaks and heavy copper jewelry. James withdrew his huge dual blades instinctively, his horse taking a combat stance; Savera grabbed his waist tighter; his lightning magic crackled over his wings, but it recognized friend from foe, and didn't hurt her or him.

"State your business!" James snarled; he was normally friendly but he was feeling very protective of his lovely new companion.

"I am Morgan SeaScowl, and these are my cousins. Welcome....young sister." They said, gesturing at Savera.

"Easy...they are witches, I can sense it. They mean us no harm." Savera told James, who relaxed, sheathing his weapons and withdrawing his magic, his wings folding back up in a relaxed position behind him.

"My apologies, Madam." He told the old witch with a bow, "I wish to ensure the safety of my new friend." He added. Savera gave him a kiss on his cheek and he blushed fiercely and grinned, touching where she'd kissed bashfully, it was clear he'd liked it; the crones smiled at the two. Savera got off Thunder's back and spoke to the witches quietly, as James and Thunder watched patiently, staying quiet politely. After some time, Savera approached James, petting Thunder, which made James smile fondly at her.

"They are willing to train me further in the ways of the witch, and give me a place to stay in their cabin not far from this sea."

"Savera..that's wonderful...oh....will you be safe, though?" he asked kindly, delicately; she smiled; his concern and fondness for her was plain.

"I will, these women are powerful but good. They will teach me to use my powers for the betterment of others and myself, as I've always longed for. James...take this." Savera handed him a beautiful rock carved with a female figure.

"It's beautiful, why thank you!" He gasped, impressed and touched. She laughed softly.

"It is more than that. When you wish to contact me, hold it in your hand, and say my name thrice. It will allow us to speak." She showed him another rock like his, which she put in a pouch the witches had gifted her; they were waiting for her nearby, listening. James smiled at it and her and back, looking thrilled.

"You mean...you wish to...remain friends?" he asked, a little breathless he was so happy.

"I do, if you concur." Savera replied with a little curtsy. James proudly placed the stone in his saddlebag, puffing out his mighty chest and splaying his magnificent wingspan.

"Savera, it'd be an honor to be friends with one as kind and beautiful as you. I'm humbled by your request." He added with a bow; his clever horse copied him, bowing too. The crones chuckled at his over the top display. Savera blushed a little.

"I am pleased, gentle gladiator. Thank you...for freeing me from my cruel captors, it would have been easy for you to have me and leave me, instead you have freed me this day. May your life be as noble as your heart. Until we meet again." Savera flapped her wings to rise up and gave him a very quick, light, playful peck on his lips, just teasing. He hadn't meant to, but his magic betrayed him, surging lightning from his wings and down his arms as she kissed him; he blushed and stammered, rendered speechless. Savera waved at him and joined the crones, James waved at her, Thunder rearing up for show, and blew her a friendly kiss, he looked drunk.

"Farewell, my beautiful friend! I look forward to our rendezvous!" He called, Thunder neighed fiercely, his master's lighting magic crackling intensely around his hooves and legs, with that the two males broke into a fierce gallop, with James looking back at the beautiful young harpy one final time with a wave; she waved back.

"He's a little too old for you, dear girl." The lead crone naga told Savera softly; Savera blushed, caught red handed.

"I meant to ask him if he has a lady." She admitted.

"He does, one he loves deeply, and vice versa. They are committed to one another fiercely, but not exclusive, I sense; such is the nature of their type of love." Another crone naga sister chimed in; Savera lit up.

"Helga, quiet! The girl doesn't need a male distracting her from her studies, she is barely of age, he knows it, too, it's one of the reasons he didn't touch her."

"Enough, my sisters. Come with us, child. Do not worry, you will see him again. Of this there is no doubt. Now, join us, young witch. We have much to teach you."

Savera bowed her head, gratefully.

"Starting with a proper outfit." Another of the naga witches said. They all laughed as they made their way back to the witches' cottage together. Savera smiled as she snuck a glance at the communication stone; it was going to be hard to focus on her studies when all that was on her mind was her huge new handsome friend.
