The Ramshackle Prefect had always been a little bit strange. Perhaps it was by virtue of being from another world, or maybe it was a coping mechanism due to being the only magicless human at Night Raven College. Whatever the reason, Malleus never minded their oddities. After all, Yuu was Malleus’s friend. They had never feared him, never shied away from him. In fact, they had sought him out on more than one occasion, just to spend time with him, to talk about their day and ask him about his. Never before had someone approached him so casually, as if he were any other student. Malleus found himself seeking them out more often, stopping by Ramshackle Dorm to visit them. And so the nightly routine of these evening visits was created.

It was during one of these visits, that the thought first came to Malleus. Grim had already gone to sleep, curled up on the bed upstairs. It was just him and Yuu sitting together on the couch downstairs, talking about nothing and everything. Yuu had mentioned they found Malleus beautiful. His emerald eyes, his raven locks, even his horns. That was the first time a human had complemented his horns like that. It made him think that, perhaps, Yuu would appreciate the other draconic aspects of himself that he kept hidden.

He got further confirmation of this during Halloween. He had caught Yuu sneaking glances at his tail from time to time. Their eyes lingered on his scales, as if trying to map out and memorize their patterns. He swayed his tail, once or twice, just to watch their eyes follow it. He felt a quiet satisfaction at seeing them so enthralled with a part of himself that he so rarely showed off. It made him feel like maybe, just maybe, it would be alright to show Yuu his true draconic form. Maybe they would even appreciate it.

It was during another one of his evening visits that he decided to take the plunge.

“Child of man,” he said, “would you follow me outside? There is something that I would like to show you.”

“Of course!” they had said, standing up to follow him. “Are going to look at the gargoyles again? It’s pretty late out, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to see them that well. I can’t see in the dark as well as you can, Hornton~”

He felt a warmth suffuse his chest. Even now, they were comfortable enough to tease him, they trusted him enough to follow without question. He cherished the nickname they had given him. It felt like proof of their bond, that they continued to call him by it even after they had learned of his true identity. He led them to the woods behind campus. At this time of night, it should be secluded enough for what he wanted to do. It would be no good to cause a commotion, after all.

He stopped in a clearing quite a ways into the woods, and turned to face Yuu. They were watching him, curious as to what he was going to show them. The flashed him a smile, and Malleus’s heart stuttered. It was now or never, he supposed.

Malleus shifted into his true dragon form. Dark scales grew to cover his skin, wings sprouted from his back, and he grew taller and taller, until he was towering over Yuu. They were staring at him wide-eyed and awed. For a moment, he was worried he had finally truly frightened them, that he had scared off his only friend. But they seemed to recover shortly, and took a hesitant step forward.

“May I…touch your scales?” they asked.

Malleus leaned his head down, bringing the edge of his snout to their hand. Slowly, they ran their hand over his snout, gently brushing the scales, savoring the texture. They seemed almost entranced by his muzzle. He could see them glancing at his teeth as they ran their hand over the bridge of his snout. He was happy they were not afraid, but now they seemed almost anxious. Hesitant.

“Is something wrong, Child of Man?” he asked.

Maybe he had misjudged their emotions. Maybe they truly were afraid, or even worse, disgusted by his draconic form. After all, it was so unlike their form as a human. Malleus watched them try to decide how to answer, biting their lip. Had he made them uncomfortable? Were they only humoring him, and after this night they would want nothing to do with him? How foolish had he been? Of course someone like Yuu would never—

“Can you put me in your mouth?”

What.

Malleus blinked hard, his attention suddenly shifting back to them. They were avoiding his gaze, and their cheeks were flushed heavily.

“I don’t think I heard you right, Child of Man. Could you repeat that?” he asked, his voice low.

“Can you put me in your mouth?” they replied. “It’s just…you’re so big. And your scales are gorgeous, and your mouth looks so warm. I know it’s probably inappropriate of me to ask, but, god… you’re so beautiful. Please? Please. I want to be close to you. Feel you from the inside. Maybe…maybe you could even swallow me?” Their words were tumbling out like a flood now.

Malleus was reeling. He had thought that they had been afraid, but to hear that they were attracted to him, coupled with such a strange request…It was almost too much.

“Wouldn’t that–wouldn’t that hurt you?” he asked. “I wouldn’t want to injure you.”

“I’ll be fine, I promise. I’ll let you know when to let me out.” They replied. Something seemed to occur to them after a moment and then they hastily added “Only if you want to! I don’t want to force you into anything. I understand if you’re uncomfortable. Sorry, this was a stupid thing to ask!”

Malleus thought, trying to sort through his feelings. Was he uncomfortable with this idea? He didn’t want them to get hurt, but the idea of swallowing them, of having them so close, wasn’t unappealing.

“I…am not opposed to the idea, Yuu. If it would make you happy, if it would bring us closer together, then I am willing to fulfil your request.” he said.

Yuu looked at him, surprised and elated, like the truly hadn’t expected him to agree to do this.

“Thank you so much, Malleus. This means a lot to me, really.” The smile on their face could rival the brightness of the sun.

Malleus found himself a bit unsure of how to proceed. He just had to put them in his mouth, right. He opened his maw wide and leaned down. Yuu was standing perfectly still, though he could see the excitement in their eyes. He gently scooped them up into his mouth, and held them there, testing. He could feel their body, pressed against his tongue. He could almost taste their arousal, their hips twitching slightly as he held them in his mouth.

“Malleus,” their voice was muffled, though he could still hear them. “Your mouth is so warm! Ah…and your tongue is so soft too. This is wonderful…” They spoke almost as if intoxicated, and in a way, perhaps, they were. Intoxicated by the ecstasy of being inside him, of having this desire fulfilled.

He held them in his mouth for a monument longer, before tilting his head back and swallowing. He could feel his throat muscles contract around them, pushing them through his esophagus and towards his stomach. They weren’t struggling, but he could feel them move slightly every now and then. With a final swallow, he felt them land in his stomach.

They spoke again, though it was muffled and barely audible.

“Hah~ I can hear your heartbeat, Malleus. Safe and surrounded by your warmth…It’s like the most intimate hug ever…Thank you. I love you.”

“...I love you too, Yuu.” he responded. He was sure they could hear him, after all, they were inside his body. He could feel them moving in his stomach, shifting to try and get comfortable. He decided to curl up and get comfortable as well. It seems he would be spending the night in these woods for a bit. Hopefully there were no late night wanderers whose curiosity got the better of them.

Malleus was content. He had shown his true form to Yuu and was accepted. And now he had his favorite human safe inside him and comfortable. Perhaps…perhaps this meant they were more than friends now.

He found himself excited at the prospect.
