Dawn of Desire
Chapter 8: What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You
Donner was having a difficult time trying to process everything that was happening. How could Ceil do the things he was doing? Sure, he gave him the power to get answers when questioned, but he never gave Ceil the mind reading powers or the ability to vanish into thin air! The storm coyote was so rattled he just went home, looking over his shoulder the whole way, expecting to see a shadow, maybe a flash of gold, but he didn’t see anything. What made him think he would see Ceil at all? Would the lion be able to conceal himself and keep himself hidden? Would he ever see him coming?
Donner entered his apartment and slammed the door, locking it and pacing into his room, his mind racing as he bit his thumb claw. He was doing anything he could to prevent a panic attack; from counting things in the room to stay grounded to taking deep breaths, but he was counting too fast and breathing too quickly. Maybe he should have a paper bag.
A crinkling sound greeted Donner. He pulled his hand up, in it was a bag perfect for breathing into, already puffed out and ready for use. He thought for a moment about using it, and ended up throwing it in the trash. At least he knew he still had the power to manifest things. Could he still bend reality? He looked at his futon and closed his eyes, imagining it being clean and made. He opened his eyes and sure enough the bed had made itself. The blankets looked freshly laundered too. Okay, he still had that one too, but how was Ceil getting these powers from him? What was that nonsense he was going on about? What did he call it? Being his prophet?
Donner cursed the fact he didn’t have the power to answer questions for himself, though he didn’t really think there was any way that he would have had that once Ceil got involved. Did he ask the power how to obtain the rest of the powers? Was there some sort of secret he was exploiting? Donner pondered that idea until another popped into his mind. One that he could call upon at any time. If he wanted, he could desire Ceil to come over and give him answers.
Donner froze. He felt like he was being watched. Like there were a duo of high-beams trained on his neck, waiting to pounce.
“No,” Donner huffed, shaking his head and dismissing the thought. He didn’t think Ceil was dangerous, but who knew if he was going to take more powers. He needed to figure this out before he allowed himself to see Ceil again.
“Fuck,” Donner sat down on his futon, his claws running through his hair as he tried to keep himself from spiraling.
“Dude? You okay?”
Donner jumped and looked over at Cody who was sitting at the card table in their kitchen. He had sat on it backwards and had his shaker in one hand and his phone in the other. He was wearing nothing but his boxers, his feet spread wide on the floor. Had he seen any of those powers being used?
“Shit! How long have you been there?”
“I greeted you when you came in. You didn’t notice me?” Cody took a swig from his post workout shake. “Ceil bother you at the gym after I left?”
“No,” Donner shook his head, relived he didn’t notice any of the powers he displayed. Cody was kind of blind when he was on his phone. “I mean, yes and no. I wanted to talk to him and maybe air some grievances. One thing led to another and…well…”
“Dude, did you seriously have sex with that nutjob?” Cody cocked a brow.
“I really don’t need to be judged right now,” Donner threw his hands up.
“Dude, you need to distance yourself from Ceil,” Cody shook his head. “And I mean it.”
“No, I’m with you there,” Donner took a deep breath and sighed. “I don’t know. He showed up to talk and then we were humping in the showers, and he was so sweet and yet…not sweet? I don’t know how to describe it.”
“Don’t need the play-by-play my guy,” Cody shrugged. “How about this? I kind of follow you around campus and I’ll ask some of my rugby guys if they’d be willing to help out too. That way you don’t have to be alone.”
“I appreciate it Cody, but I don’t think it’ll be necessary.”
“If it makes you feel safe, then I think it’s necessary.” Cody snorted out a duo of streams from his nostrils. “This little golden boy is starting to get on my nerves. No one fucks with my friends and gets away with it.”
“Calm down Cody,” Donner waived off the buffalo’s concerns. “I consented to everything that happened. He made sure I did. I just…it’s not the actual sex that has me on edge.”
“What do you mean?” Cody cocked a brow, the big guy leaning forward, his chest pressed against the back of the chair. Donner paused, his eyes going wide as he put his foot in his mouth. “Donner what happened?”
“I…it’s complicated, but…he has something of mine and I don’t really know how to get it back.”
“What? Did he steal something from you?” Cody was trying to understand, but how could he?
“Just drop it Cody!” Donner snapped. “You wouldn’t understand. I need to handle this myself.”
“Well okay then,” Cody lifted his hands up, his shake and his phone still in his palms. “Just trying to help a friend out.”
“I’ll let you know when I need your help,” Donner said it a bit more harshly than he wanted.
“Whatever man, forget I offered or whatever. I’m going to bed,” Cody walked over to his room and closed the door. The sound of bed springs squeaking echoed into the living room as the big buffalo rolled onto his mattress.
Donner kicked himself for being so dismissive, but maybe it wasn’t so bad an idea to have someone by him. Ceil seemed only interested in reaching out when he was alone, but he didn’t know if that was by design or not.
There were too many questions and not enough answers, though, who could he turn to? Rapture was god-knows where, and it’s not like Cody could weigh in on things of cosmic proportions. The last time he asked him for dating advice he said the best way through a man is his stomach, usually head-butting it over and over again. To be fair though, that advice did work on a few people. Maybe he could tell Cody everything at some point, but he didn’t know enough. He didn’t want to bring him in until he knew more about all this.
For now, he’d just have to go to bed angry and answerless. They both would.

The next day went on without incident, but Donner was very careful with his thoughts, making sure to keep himself from sending out an accidental call to Ceil. It wasn’t as hard as he thought, he just needed to keep his horny thoughts to himself and just keep his spine wound up tight and stomach in knots and heart in a vice like grip and…
Okay, Donner was fully aware that what he was doing wasn’t sustainable, but he needed to keep himself under control until he could get a better understanding of the situation. He made his way to the archeology building and went to the only other person he knew that might be able to help him.
Donner sat outside Reihner’s office, his hands folded in his lap, tapping his foot paw on the ground to get rid of his nervous energy. He counted the taps to keep his mind distracted and from wandering. It was a longshot, and he might get expelled, or at least ruin his chances at the internship, but he needed to know more if there was anything at all to know.
Donner jumped as the door opened, another of his fellow archeology students leaving the office and leaving the door open. The coyote took a deep breath and stood up before dipping into the office.
“Uh, Professor Reihner?”
“Two in one day? When did I get so popular?” The tiger finished scribbling something down before looking up and adjusting his glasses. “Oh, it’s you.”
Donner felt a pang of fear at the way the tiger said that, but he couldn’t let a disapproving tone make him shrink away from what he needed.
“Yeah, it’s me, Donner,” the coyote chuckled and scratched the back of his head. “I…I um…”
“If it’s about the internship, you can save it. I haven’t made any decisions yet, and I didn’t tell you about it so you could pester me on my off hours about it either.”
“Your off hours?” Donner’s ears twitched. “But…these are your office hours? What are you talking about?”
“You mean…” the tiger lowered his glasses and looked deeper into Donner’s copper orbs. “Nothing, what can I help you with today Mister Torres?”
“Oh, um…sure,” Donner felt the sudden weight of the professor’s eyes on him and he took a quarter step back before shaking his head. “I need to ask you about one of the items in the registry. The one I helped you catalogue.”
“Yes?” Reihner raised a brow. Donner gulped, he didn’t like how accusatory the professor was. What happened? It’s like he was a different person from when he spoke to him last. Well…then again the tiger DILF was very blunt with how he actually talked. This was more normal.
“Sorry, it’s just…when I was handling one of the artefacts I…I just have some questions about the Mesopotamian portion of artefacts.”
“You mean the broken one?” Reihner pulled his glasses off.
“I…” Donner froze up, his fur standing on end. “Did…you know?”
“Donner, it was an ancient brick with a key found next to it,” Reihner gestured at him with his glasses as though they were an accusatory figure. “Not everything that’s old has value. Didn’t you pay attention in class the other day? The important thing is that the key was still intact.”
“That’s a…relief…” Donner pressed his fingers together. “Though, I had questions about that item and anything the university had related to it? Are there any other artefacts that were found alongside it?”
“So, let’s get this straight,” Reihner pulled a cloth from his desk and got to cleaning his glasses. “You did an amazing categorization of these artefacts yourself, and yet you don’t know if any of the rest of them were found with the one you broke. Also, it seems that you’re implying that you’d like access to the artefacts room while admitting you broke one of the pieces. Is that right?”
“I…um…yes…yes that is kind of what I’m asking.”
“Well,” Reihner put his glasses back on his dead-pan face. “That further builds upon my theory that the golden kid was involved. Did you get help from that lion in categorizing things?”
“Lion?” Donner’s heart skipped a beat. “You mean, Ceil was here?”
“So he did help you?” Reihner narrowed his eyes as though they could cut through any lie Donner dared to spin.
“No,” Donner put his hands up. “No, he’s just a…he didn’t help me. I swear to you he had nothing to do with it or my work that night.”
Reihner pursed his lips, his hand coming up to rub his stubbly chin in contemplation. “What was his name again?”
“Ceil, sir,” Donner’s ears folded back.
“Full name, boy,” Reihner got that tired look, the one when he had to deal with anything or anyone incompetent.
“Ceil Nasir,” Donner blushed, embarrassment burned and prickled over his skin.
“Ceil Nasir, huh…” the professor swiveled on his chair and typed him in and he found the lion boy pretty quick. “A physical therapist major? Yeah…and judging by his age, he wasn’t a previous student elsewhere. I know he wasn’t one of mine.” Reihner took his glasses off and tossed them on a stack of papers before rubbing his eyes. “Okay, I don’t think that brat had anything to do with your resounding success in the categorization. That clears that up.”
“Um…Professor, why did you bring him up?”
“It doesn’t matter,” Reihner cracked his neck and put his glasses back on before looking back at the coyote. “Was the only reason you came here to confess about breaking a useless brick?”
“No,” Donner shook his head. “I wanted to learn more, or anything there is that about any god in the Mesopotamian culture that would translate to desire.”
“God of desire?” Reihner cocked his brow. “That’s a bit too vague a concept. They had gods that embodied specific desires like love, wine, war, even sex, but desire itself isn’t something they worshiped. Wanting something is more the focus than the actual feeling of wanting.”
“Please Reihner,” Donner stepped forward. “Anything you know, anything at all?”
“I’m not sure what you’re looking for Mister Torres,” Reihner put his hands up. “Mesopotamia had dozens of cultures and Pantheons. You can’t expect me to remember them all.”
“Professor, please!” Donner paused, his own frustration getting the better of him, he took a deep breath. “Please, anything you might think of would be helpful.”
There was a brief moment before Reihner shrugged, “I don’t know what you’re looking for specifically, but the gods from those eras had myriads of powers. There were two main ones considered the kings of gods, though I’m not sure that’s what you’re looking for.”
“King of gods?” Donner’s ears twitched. That sounded like what Rapture made himself out to be in some sense. “What about that.”
“Well, the one that comes to mind would be Enki, or Ea as the Akkadians and Babylonians would refer to him as. He was the god of many things that men would desire.”
“What were they?” Donner asked. “What were the powers?”
“Well…” Reihner rubbed his chin. “Wisdom and intelligence for starters, and if you actually paid attention in class, you’d know there is a big difference between those two things. He was also the god of tricks and magic, fresh water, healing, creation, even fertility. It’s actually quite interesting…”
Donner stopped listening as he heard that list. It matched up so well with his powers it was almost uncanny. The ability to answer questions would clearly be intelligence, and creation was self-explanatory. Tricks and magic could easily account for mind reading and teleportation. Healing wasn’t just about fixing wounds, but about health and vigor. The coyote remembered how he cleaned himself up, his hair and skin becoming clean and healthy. And every time he showered, every time he interacted with water, it felt different, more sensual and pleasurable. Water was also associated with cleansing and purity. That could easily account for the ability to clean his apartment in a flash.
And fertility would explain his bigger dick and self-lubricating asshole.
“Donner? Are you listening?”
The coyote jumped, his ears twitching.
“Thank you professor, that helped a lot,” Donner bowed awkwardly and dismissed himself.
The tiger furrowed his brow and watched as the coyote’s tail slipped out of his office.
“What a weird kid,” Reihner shook his head. “He better learn to focus better or he’s going to lose the internship.”
The tiger had a brief moment where he remembered that piss-ant lion’s condescending tone.
“I’ll have to look into you further Ceil Nasir.”

Donner felt like a madman with string as he scribbled down notes from his phone and started connecting things together. If Enki was Rapture, or something like him, then Donner was given eight powers. First wisdom, the knowledge of the gods and their existence, next intelligence, the ability to ask any question and get an answer. Then the two closely related of tricks and magic, trickster natures is to manipulate and connive behind the scenes, and magic to manipulate the world as it is. Fresh water was kind of tricky because, especially near the beginning of civilization, fresh water wasn’t as much of a guarantee as it is now. Being able to provide fresh water, or even make rivers for trade and commerce was huge. Not to mention that water represented purity and cleansing. Healing was pretty straight forward, the ability to be healthy and to mend any injury. Basically immortality. Creation is kind of tricky. The coyote thought this one might overlap with magic, but then he realized one was making something from nothing while the other manipulated what already existed. Finally, fertility…
Donner’s pen paused, a blush blooming over his cheeks as he thought of Ceil and how his dick had reeled out, his feet expanded, his paws getting thicker.
The coyote shook his head, banishing the horny thoughts before going back to his notebook. He was currently in the library. For a college it was surprisingly sparse, but the coyote thanked his blessings. He could use his powers unseen for now. He couldn’t be sure about what powers Ceil already had, but he needed a better understanding of how these things worked before he had a chance at reeling the lion in. So, time to test them out.
Donner took a deep breath and held out his hand and focused deeply into his palm. He desired to create water. He held his breath and opened his eyes wide, his body tensing up like he was trying to lift a heavy weight. After a few moments he let out the sigh and relaxed. He had no idea if this was going to work, but maybe trying to force it wasn’t the way. How was Ceil able to use the powers so freely?
Donner blinked, remembering how gentle Ceil was, how loose and sure of himself. He didn’t just will things to be, he believed he could, he believed they would truly happen. He had faith, a faith that ran into his bones and freed him of the fear of failure. Ceil didn’t force the power, he was the power, he embodied it like it was a part of him all along and not something to control, but something to be.
“Okay,” Donner took a deep breath, relaxed his limbs, and gently lifted his hand, palm up as though he were begging for change. He wasn’t in control, but rather asking the universe to comply. Donner closed his eyes and gently swayed his head side to side. The gentle waves of the ocean caressed the shore, the gentle warble of a fish tank filter, the sound of a waterfall in the distance, the spray of a mist during a morning jog. Anything and everything Donner could think of with water flowed through his mind, curled up his arm, hugging his joints and melting them, then spiraled up into his palm.
Donner opened his eyes and gasped. Floating above his palm was a bubble of water warbling like a fresh spring. It grew and widened, bubbling up from Donner and into a growing balloon. Donner eased back on the feeling and sure enough the water pulled back and relaxed, floating just above the center of his palm.
“Well, creation is still mine,” Donner gave a half chuckle. “How about the fresh water thing?”
Donner willed the water to change shape from a sphere into a cube. The surface of the water rippled as though annoyed before sloshing out of shape and then solidifying into a cube. Each face of the box looked like the surface of the ocean, speckled with white caps as the water worked itself into shape.
“Okay, I guess I should have known that I had that one because the water wasn’t just spilling all over." Donner chuckled. “Well, if it’s fresh water, then…maybe a drink?”
The coyote leaned in and sipped on one of the corners of the cube. The water was crisp and cool, fresh, and smooth. There was water, and then there was fresh water. It filled his bones, it cooled his soul, it was like drinking the very source of life, and it was endless.
“Holy shit,” Donner gasped, breaking off the cube. He grabbed his water bottle and filled it with the cube, only a small die sized bit left over that he popped into his mouth. Again, that water was so smooth it coated his tongue and relaxed his taste buds. It tasted like nothing and yet was so sweet it made his mouth water. “Now that is the definition of refreshing.”
Donner was enjoying his little test, but he also had a mission. He notated that he had creation and fresh water powers, but what did he know Ceil had?
He for sure gave him intelligence, so he could mark him down for that. Tricks and magic sound like mind reading and teleportation. Then again, he didn’t know if Ceil was teleporting or just invisible…
A chill ran down the coyote’s spine. Ceil could be looking over his shoulder right now and he wouldn’t even notice.
The coyote shook his head, banishing the fear. No, he had to keep some wits about him. If he thought Ceil was everywhere all at once, then there was no way he was going to be sane. For now, Ceil was content with just being in the background and waiting for his call, though how long would that last?
Donner looked over his list, focusing more on the task at hand than the imminent presence of the golden lion. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, calming himself.
Wisdom must be his as well. Sure, he wasn’t a smartass, but at least he was able to make inferences and put things together quickly. It might not be intelligence, but he did feel like he could understand things easily enough despite them being massive cosmic level mechanics. For now, he would assume that wisdom was his. Healing was still his as far as he could tell. He felt healthy and strong, but also his fur and hair were vibrant and full of life. Though, how could he be sure?
A thought came to the coyote and he pulled out his phone to look at himself. He had a small scar on his chin from a childhood accident. It was almost invisible, but he could still see it. He calmed himself and rubbed his finger over it gently, like he was rubbing in lotion. The little jagged bump lightly grated against his finger pad until all of a sudden it was gone. Donner removed his finger and sure enough, the scar was replaced by downy fur.
Okay, he had the healing ability, and the last one…
Donner blushed, his cheeks glowing red as he thought about what he should do to test for fertility. Did fertility also overlap with virility, or did they even have a separate god for that? Then again, Rapture might not be exactly Enki, but his powers were very similar. Until he knew more, he would just have to assume it was for both.
What if it wasn’t just about human fertility?
Donner looked over at one of the potted plants that the library had to liven up the place, but was notoriously terrible and keeping alive. Half of it was dead and yellow, and everything else was reaching for the window to get any semblance of sunlight. Donner reached out and touched it. The pot felt cold to the touch, and he could feel the water inside the soil without touching it. It was like the raspy breaths of an old animal on his last legs. Donner took a deep breath and focused on his idea of fertility. The smell of dandelions in bloom, the feel of crabgrass gripping his shins, the petrichor after the rain, the crumb of damp soil as it slipped through his fingers in a stream.
The plant twitched, the leaves slowly bleeding from their dead yellow to a deep, viridian green. Life pulsed through it, the leaves perking up, twitching and stretching towards the window as life filled the soil. A little flower even bloomed, ready to be pollinated.
“So I’m like Aqua Man spiced with Poison Ivy?” Donner pushed the pot further over to the window, the new life thrumming through it, excited, almost swaying its thanks as it was placed in the sunray. “I don’t know if it was communicating with me, but it felt like it.”
Donner pursed his lips. He had a better grasp on what his powers were, but this still didn’t explain how Ceil was stealing his powers.
“Ugh,” the coyote put his head on the desk and groaned, his ears flopping forward. “Why do I have to be the one to deal with this? I hate gifts that are fucking projects. Thanks a lot Rapture.” Donner huffed. He already knew it was his own fault, not Rapture’s, for messing with Ceil’s mind. How did he manage to do that one anyway?
Donner finally caught it. He felt the power of wisdom linking things in his mind. It was like a powerful, yet tinny, pair of tweezers were pinching one idea and quickly inferencing it to another. He looked back at his list and his eyes fell on the power of creation. He couldn’t just make things, he could make feelings, desires, any non-material thing could be made out of thin air if he wanted.
Maybe that’s why Ceil was so messed up though? Not so much because of the things he put inside him, or the attraction he gave the poor guy, but because intelligence without the wisdom to guide it made him see things at face value. He can have the proper intel, but without the right processer, the right decoder, all that information was going to get filtered through his past life, his previous experiences, without any divine intervention to keep him sane.
Could he give Ceil the wisdom piece and it would fix itself? No, giving him more power wouldn’t fix this. His mind had already incorporated new ideas and beliefs. It was too late to just hand him over the other half of that power without it continuing to operate on the same set of ideals.
“God damn it,” Donner groaned, threading his fingers through his hair and glaring at the list. If he had magic or even trickery he might be able to flip things around, but without the ability to biblically gaslight Ceil back to normal, how could he do that?
He decided it was best to simply go to class. He had one more for the day and he wasn’t going to let his education go to waste just because of one crazy ex. Even if he did make him that way.
Donner packed up his things, tossing them into his bag and slung it over his shoulder. He didn’t know how he was going to focus, but he wasn’t going to go without the free attendance points the professor gave out. He made his way to his next class, the whole time trying to think of new ways to get Ceil back the way he was.
Unfortunately he couldn’t destroy things, but only create them. So, it’s not like he could erase Ceil’s obsession with him. He would have to find some way to displace the obsession, or maybe create someone for him to obsess over? That still wouldn’t get rid of the obsession he felt for Donner. This felt like he was trying to wedge things back into Pandora’s Box. He knew you couldn’t un-ring a bell, but he had to think of something.
“You doin’ okay darling?”
Donner froze, his spine going rigid as he heard the lion’s gentle voice.
“I didn’t call you over,” Donner huffed, refusing to turn around.
“I know, but you seemed so distressed,” Ceil responded, his voice smooth and even. “I just didn’t really know if you needed me or not.”
“You just wanted to see me, stop,” Donner huffed, refusing to turn around and continuing on his way to class.
“I always want to see you, but I could tell you were frustrated. I know I’m the cause of a lot of it, but I wanted to let you know you don’t need to worry about me. I’m just fine. I worry about you though.”
Donner kept his mouth shut and kept walking, but Ceil’s voice was still close.
“Are you not even going to look at me?”
Donner kept quiet.
“Donner, come on,” Ceil’s voice was a little tired. “You can’t possibly still be angry with me. What can I do to make it up to you?”
“Leave me alone,” Donner huffed. He didn’t have the strength to deal with him right now, and he didn’t want to give him a chance to take more powers.
“Wait, you think I’m taking your powers?” Ceil’s voice had a slight smile to it. “You really don’t know what’s going on, do you?”
Donner’s stride slowed. What did he mean by that?
“Hey, you that Ceil guy!?” Someone shouted.
“Hey bud, why don’t you back off,” another shouted.
“Excuse me? This doesn’t concern you,” Ceil’s voice was directed behind him. Donner decided to turn and see what was happening. The coyote finally saw Ceil. He was wearing a hoodie and some sweat pants, his foot paws planted firmly on the ground. Though coming up behind him were a duo of guys that Donner knew from Cody’s rugby gang. One was a bull and the other a rhino. They each had at least fifty pounds on the lion, both in muscle and a bit of dirty bulk from all the carbs the cafeteria dished out. They were even wearing their jerseys.
“Oh really?” the rhino looked back up over at Donner. “This guy bothering you?”
“I…” Donner froze. On the one hand he was grateful Cody had gotten his rugby buddies to follow him. On the other, he felt blindsided.
“How dare you talk to him that way,” Ceil growled.
“’Ey, look at that Mark,” the bull chuckled. “You think you can take the both of us on? Stop harassing your ex and hit the curb.”
“My ex?” Ceil’s ears flashed up in surprise, his messy bun bobbing backwards as though the lion were taken aback.
“Yeah, just leave the guy alone.” The rhino huffed at him. “Yo, Don! This guy giving you trouble?”
“I mean…Ceil, just leave me alone, please.” Donner said in a harsh whisper.
The lion half turned and looked at the coyote from over his shoulder, his face golden and his eyes glittering emeralds.
“Is that what you truly desire?”
Donner caught those eyes, flashes of what they did in the waterfall cave, the showers, it all came flooding into his cheeks and burning them a bright red. Ceil gave a little smirk and made a move to step closer.
“Hey bud!” The bull gripped Ceil’s shoulder and stopped him. “Leave him alone. This is your final warning.”
“Keep your filthy hands off me you fucking rapist,” Ceil snarled, spinning around and glaring at the bull. “You dare to claim the moral high ground when just last weekend you roofied your girlfriend? Where is she now? At planned parenthood getting a rape kit?”
“Dude, you did what to Shelly?” The rhino turned to face his friend.
“Dude! It ain’t like that I swear! She has a rape fantasy! She asked me to do it!”
“She has a rape fantasy, sure,” Ceil continued. “But she didn’t tell you to drug her, or to tie her to your bed. You even ignored her when she grunted your safe word.”
“How the hell do you know that?” The bull snorted.
“Wait, that’s why you needed those drugs?” The rhino huffed. “You didn’t tell me you were going to use them like that!”
“And how was he supposed to use them?” Ceil asked the rhino. “Do you think rape drugs are just some joke? Is that why you go selling them?”
“What the hell did you just say?” The rhino snarled.
“Who do you think is going to go down for that crime?” Ceil continued on. “You sold him the drugs, and he raped her. Do you honestly think you two should be defending anyone with how horribly you treat your women? How can you even stand to be around the other? You both screwed up and you still think you have any way out of it? It’s only a matter of time until Shelly presses charges and both your lives are over.”
“No, no dude, that’s not it at all! He told me she’d still be conscious or whatever,” the bull huffed.
“What the hell man! I didn’t know you’d be using them on someone you knew! What the fuck!”
“What the hell—” the bull was cut off as the rhino punched him across the face. The bull huffed and charged the rhino, the two becoming a tumbling mass on the quad as they hurled obscenities at one another.
Donner watched the entire thing unfold, frozen, fear gripping his heart. Ceil turned around and faced Donner, the lion smiling warmly at the coyote.
“Don’t worry my Darling Donner,” Ceil purred as he cupped the coyote gently on the cheek and leaned into his ear. “I forgive you for getting those two involved, but you should know by now.” The lion gave a little nip on Donner’s ear. “No one can keep you from me.”
Donner turned to face Ceil, to push him, to shove him out of the way, but when he did he found nothing but air. Donner looked left and right, the lion nowhere to be seen. Donner felt a tingling go down his spine, his mind awash with questions, but his dick hard as a rock between his legs. Despite all that, one thing kept playing back in his mind. It’s what Ceil had said.
_ “You really don’t know what’s going on, do you?”_
“I really fucking don’t,” Donner mumbled.
