They did it. Gary Goodspeed and Avocato managed to not only save the universe, but have gotten recently married, and plan to celebrate their honeymoon on a remote part of Ventrexia.

Thank you all for participating in last month's poll. I hope you'll like the next poll that's about to come up, and I hope you enjoy what I came up with here! I greatly enjoyed “Final Space” when it aired, and wish that the TV show hadn’t been canceled. It has great writing, atmosphere, character development, and characters you grow to love, including these two. I’ll ship them until the end of time.

Avocato remembered shifting his uncomfortable posture as he waited at the altar. Everyone in the pews smiled and he did as well, but it didn’t then much of his nervousness at first. His tail still curled and uncurled as they waited for the ceremony to begin.

Finally, the piano started to play. Two familiar figures walked down the aisle, a pair of blonde humans, one of whom wore a sharp black tuxedo and the other a modest purple dress. The eldest human escorted her son between two rows of many different aliens. All of them they either knew from chance encounters or were the best of friends after successfully saving the universe. A significant few were members of the Team Squad; Mooncake, Little Cato, Ash, Fox, HUE, KVN (unfortunately, though the little pest kept quiet), and even the President of Earth herself, Quinn Ergon, who flashed a bright and congratulatory smile at Gary as he approached the altar with his mother. Sheryl whispered something to him that caused the handsome young man to snicker, and he stepped forward to grasp hands with his Ventrexian fiancé.

They shared nervous yet brilliant smiles as the ceremony went underway.

“Cato, wake up.”

“Hmm?” Avocato awoke to find himself cuddling closely to a familiar human. “Mmm, hey, baby. Just had a dream about you.”

Gary laughed. “What were we doing?” he asked, scratching behind one of the alien feline’s ears. “The way your tail was batting my hip, it obviously had to be a good one!”

Avocado smiled down at their wedding bands when he clasped his paw with Gary’s robotic arm. Unlike his golden ring, Gary’s had been welded directly onto his finger, and the memory of their friends’ laughter echoed in his head as he recall the adorable human making a joke about never losing it during the reception. Even Quinn couldn’t help but giggle at her ex-boyfriend’s poor joke. And Avocato never stopped smiling throughout, even as KVN tried to poorly sing karaoke in the middle of the dance floor, and especially as the interspecies newlyweds waited for hours for the hovering limousine to bring them to their destination.

“Oh, finally!” Gary let go of his husband’s paw and pointed over his shoulder. “Cato, we’re here!” Avocado followed the robotic, prosthetics finger and craned his neck to stare out the transparent glass. His eyes widened alongside Gary’s. “Oh, jeez…That’s…”

“One hell of a honeymoon suite,” Avocato agreed.

The limousine had taken them all the way from Ventrexia’s capital city and deep into the regrown wilderness of the once ravaged home world. Evidence of previous wars could be found throughout the veneer of sprawling plant life and trees, from the countless carcasses of abandoned armored vehicles to the circular ponds and depressions that were obviously craters formed from exploded ordinances in past battles. They remained scars on what was an otherwise beautiful landscape. Yet one other artificial structure stood out, a rustic log cabin not far from a natural lake further down the road. It appeared older than the trees themselves, and as the limousine parked in front of the porch entrance, Gary and Avocato could clearly see one or two bullet holes that had since been painted over recently.

None of that was on their mind though. Instead, the male newlyweds jumped energetically out of the limousine the minute that it sat down on the gravel, then hauled their modest luggage inside and locked the door behind them. The only sounds around them were chirping birds, the noise of a departing hover vehicle, and their labored breathing as they stood in the foyer and the reality of it sank in for the human and Ventrexian: they were now married.

The two of them exchanged eager smiles. Avocato’s tail swayed happily behind him, and his intense yellow eyes drank in the sight of the human he loved with all his heart. He couldn’t wait to tear those stuffy wedding clothes off of him. Gary appeared to have the same thought, clenching and unclenching his robotic fist as he waited for the alien to make a move. Who would be the one to finally say those beautiful words and get their celebration started?

“Baby?” Avocato volunteered, letting out a never-ending purr.

The human with bushy blonde hair gulped with a nervous smile. “Y-Yeah, good buddy—Oof!”

Avocato collided with his human against the closed front door, pulling him into a deep kiss. His smooth body shivered against his and Gary let out a muffled moan, parting his lips apart to let the familiar tongue inside. It lathered his teeth and gums before beginning a dance with his own tongue. Rough sensuality, and masculine sexuality collided together, the pair grinding their confined torsos together until they could feel their erections throbbing for freedom. Avocato’s tail thrashed at the air. Gary’s prosthetic arm copped a feel of muscular Ventrexian pec, making said alien feline’s let out a deep chuff.

They couldn’t shed their clothes any faster. Avocato found himself so frustrated with him buttoning Gary’s wedding shirt that he ended up, extending out his claws and cutting the buttons down in one swift motion.

“Mmfh! Hey!” Gary partly complained but mostly laughed. “That cost so—”

“C’mon, baby,” Avocato purred even louder, kicking away his and Gary’s trousers until they stood in nothing but their underwear. The alien cat didn’t wait and lifted up his husband like a bride on Earth. “You’re gonna forget all about those credits very soon.”

“Oh yeah, are we gonna have some rough, kinky mating, Cato?” he teased.

“Damn right, we are!” Avocato teased back.

“Wowza—ahh!”

Gary released a surprised yelp, followed by giggling and soft moans once his lips connected again with his whiskered husband. They traversed through a small corridor and into a sprawling master bedroom with a large window that faced the pristine blue lake. The attention between the newlyweds remained on each other, however. Not on anything else in the world, the galaxy, or the universe they’d saved. The blushing duo fell atop the bed, reconnecting into another ravenous kiss, though not before kicking down their underwear and locking each other in a naked embrace. Drool coated their chins and their cocks pulsed between rubbing abs, already slick with pre-cum. This was it. Finally, after endless bad days and suffering nights traversing in and out of Final Space, the two best friends-turned-husbands could let themselves be happy.

Calloused fingers and paw pads roamed over muscles. Avocato quickly got used to the cool metallic touch of his human’s robotic arm, particularly as it scratched at his back and roamed through his thick fur to feel the bulging muscles beneath it. He purred with wanton abandonment. He eventually found enough strength to pull away from his kiss and started lapping roughly at that vulnerable neck, which shivered at his feline tongue and made its own squirm beneath his grip. Avocato couldn’t help himself, licking rougher and biting down once or twice to claim his best friend, his partner, his son’s other father, his husband and mate. The human male that helped save not just the universe, but his life countless times over.

Meanwhile, Gary sprawled deeper into the soft mattress, his body already covered in sweat and dark Ventrexian fur that covered him like a muscular quilt pressing down on him. He gasped and spasmed from feeling sharp tongue and fangs leave their faint marks on his neck and shoulders, then let out a yelp as the alien cat bed down on his jugular, and that sent an electric jolt of pleasure straight to his dick. He barely had time to react when he felt too furry fingers into his mouth, and the flustered, teary-eyed human sucked hard on them as they traced his teeth. He moaned on them like a pair of tasty sausages, sucking on them, and wetting them with his saliva with the knowledge of what they were about to do.

Gary spread his legs and allowed his feline lover easier access. He could feel those fingers leave his mouth and then circle teasingly around his entrance. He quivered anticipation, but it didn’t need to wait for long. Avocato whispered to his lips, “Tell me if it’s too much, baby,” before silencing his groans with another deep kiss. Gary held himself back from tapping those broad, black-furred arms that held him. He drowned out his cries into that addictive mouth, letting that dexterous tongue dance with him, feeling it, taste his molars and roughly guide him into a steady calm. Soon, just as Gary began to grope one of Avocato’s solid pecs, kneading one of the nipples at some point, Avocato himself withdrew his lips to give a pleasured chuff. Then, he withdrew both fingers to position himself ready.

“I love you, Avocato Goodspeed,” Gary moaned/chuckled up at him.

Avocato froze, then smiled, placing a paw on his humans cheek. “I love you too, Gary Goodspeed,” he whispered back, leaning in close. “Love you…so much…Mmmfh!”

Avocato relished being inside his human. He snarled happily while feeling his shaft warmly invade the fellow Mr. Goodspeed underneath him, who kissed him back with such fevered love in his eyes. He gave one thrust. He gave two thrusts. He did it again, but a little harder, just enough to make his hips slam against his lover. Gary squirmed but nodded up for him to continue, to go faster. Avocato happily obliged. He didn’t simply breed the human, however.

This was their wedding night, and they wanted to finally make love.

Light sweat covered the dark fur on Avocato’s shoulders and back, revealing the muscles that rippled underneath. A pair of human ankles rested against his flexing buttocks, occasionally being tickled by a tail that unpredictably thrashed and swiped at the air in excitement, sometimes in tune with its owner’s grunts and purring chuffs. Other noises filled the air too, such as his human whimpering and moaning, while letting out high-pitched gasps against his bruised lips, all while his fuzzy balls lightly swayed and occasionally slapped at the human’s ass each time the alien thrusted harder.

Avocato broke his lasting kissing to mutter, “Shit…So close! I…”

“Fuck me, Cato!” The hero of the universe stared up at him with such tearful, happy eyes. “P-Please, don’t…no holding back! Fill me up! Ahhhhh!”

Avocato let out a deep hiss, snarled, and clamped his fangs down on Gary’s left shoulder, on the skin just before it became a prosthetic. He bit down hard. His human let out a pained yet pleasured roar. His body spasmed against the Ventrexian’s. It grew in intensity as the alien cat humped harder and filled his husband and mate up with his seed. Colors danced across his vision. Black spots filled the corner of his eyes, and he clenched them closed while hugging his human closer. They caressed each other’s ears, which felt like they were on fire and throbbed with their heartbeats. Avocato gave one final thrust, biting deeper into the shoulder until he tasted blood, and he let out a satisfied cry in unison with Gary.

Together, the newlyweds lay atop one another in a panting, purring, sweaty, cum-stained tangle of limbs. Crimson trickled from the bite wound on Gary’s shoulder. Avocado guiltily began licking at the open mark, knowing that his saliva would help it coagulate. Gary certainly helped ease his guilt by scratching behind his downward ears in the way that always made him feel good, regardless of what happened.

“Sorry, baby,” Avocato murmured between thorough licks. “Dang, that’s a lot of blood.”

“Ah, don’t worry about it,” Gary laughed nonchalantly, wincing and sighing as his mate increased his tongue work. “Ahh! Oh, God, that’s a good kitty...”

“Heh, didn’t know you liked biting,” Avocato said, lapping at the wound a little slower. He smirked down at his handiwork, leaning down one more time to kiss the shoulder. “You know, in Ancient Ventrexia, there is an old tradition between mates once they’re married. It’s called…”

He let out a series of Ventrexian words that Gary didn’t understand. Not at all. They flew in one year out the other.

“Huh?” Gary let out a confused noise, making Avocato laugh softly. “What?”

“It means ‘marked for all strangers to see, but hidden by fur’,” he explained, nuzzling his whiskers into the healing wound and then to Gary’s chin. “I basically marked you as mine. You are my husband and my mate, no matter how much fur you grow over it or even if it disappears.”

It was Gary’s turn to laugh. “Don’t worry, buddy,” he replied. “I won’t be growing any fur to hide your bites anytime soon…not unless you’re secretly a werewolf. Or a werewolf-Ventrexian in disguise. A were-Ventrexian? Were-trexian? Do were-trexians secretly exist and you never mentioned it—”

Avocato silenced Gary’s adorable ramblings with a quick kiss. He grinned. “You got all month to figure that one out, baby.”

Gary let out a short giggle, kissing the cat back. He was interrupted by a growl that came from his stomach.

“Can we make some grub before we discuss werewolf-Ventrexian hybrids walking among us first?” he proposed. “Wow, I’m starved!”

Avocato clutched his belly. “Same here,” he chuckled. “Soon as I can feel my legs again, I’ll carry us to the shower and then we can see what they’ve left us in the refrigerator. probably some local food. Hopefully they left us some cookies too.”

“Oh, I like that plan,” Gary spoke. “I like that plan a lot.”

Avocato wagged his tail, letting it curl around his human’s hips. He wrapped his arm around his torso too and rested his nose against the crook of that ‘wounded’ shoulder. Gary turned to face him and they hugged each other tightly. How could they both be so lucky? They had the rest of their lives to figure that out, as long as they were together forever.

“I love you Gary Goodspeed,” Avocato whispered.

“Love you too, Avocato Goodspeed,” Gary whispered back. "Love you too."
